Separation of church and state should apply to healthcare. They do not even offer the Paraguard IUD anymore due to it being purely contraception with no hormonal link that they can justify as cycle control. Apparently god’s will is forced child bearing, even when I am very decidedly unfit and unwilling? Furthermore, they do not provide hysterectomy/ tubal ligation even when it would be life saving/ improving. Yet they still had to also interject their opinion that I should wait until my 30s before seeking that procedure elsewhere as well. Essentially they value the unborn and the unproven God over their living patients’ valid health concerns and bodily autonomy which is EXACTLY why the church should be FAR removed from healthcare. Do better.
