Service was great. Maria the PA was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The medical assistant didn’t seem like she wanted to be there which made me uncomfortable and feel like a burden. Having said all that, I’d recommend!

From the minute I entered the emergency room last Thursday night, I had th3 very best care I could have ever received. Just to mention a few names from Morgan the nurse, John the radiologist , Doctor Mikva and Paul Long , the care and concern for me was perfect. Wish that all medical emergency centers were as well run. Thank you to all and anyone I might have missed. You are a great team.!!

Ended up visiting as had a health scare called ahead of time and the person who answered the phone was very helpful was told make a walk-in appointment and come by. The wait was bit long but the Staff was very friendly. Dr. Patel was very informative and did through testing. Was glad to get an all clear.

I’ve always had a positive experience here BUT can’t give 5 stars because every single time I have gone or my husband has gone they send our prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy even after double checking multiple times before leaving. Then they won’t pick up the phone or call back when we call to make the correction. It’s really annoying.

Good advice/feedback on all my many questions. Staff/customer service was great. Clean sterile environment. I will definitely stop using other urgent care services and come back here.

Took my son who had a foreign object in the ear. There was only a Physician Assistant who had no idea what to do. The assistant who I believe was a doctor at his country, gave her suggestions on what to do but she pushed hydrogen peroxide in the ear and tried to grab the object, eventually pushing it further down into the ear canal. Took him to ER and the doctors said the object is now very further in and we should have brought him to the ER first and not the urgent care. 8 hours now and we are still at the ER, awaiting surgical procedure now. I am a Nurse and I knew better than that PA.

I came in with a 103 degree fever. After being left in a treatment room for over 20 minutes, I was given a rapid flu and Covid test. I was billed for extra lab fees, which were not disclosed at the start of the visit, and when I contacted customer service they were unable to explain to me what the extra lab fees were for or how billing decisions were made. I have never experienced this at City MD. It is unethical and I would recommend a different urgent care provider.

I appreciated the staff following up with me the next day after my daughter had a complicated finger fracture. They referred us to a specialist who was also amazing. I would recommend highly.

Terrible experience. I had severe throat inflammation while breastfeeding my one-month-old. The inexperienced staff told me to go home and do nothing. The next day, another urgent care prescribed antibiotics. Avoid this place.

I had an exceptional experience at this clinic. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and the lack of crowds. Their online check-in system eliminated any waiting time, which was fantastic. What truly stood out was the all-female staff, including the doctor. It made opening up about my concerns incredibly easy, as I felt right at home without any shyness. A unique feature I appreciated was the connected bathroom and laboratory, ensuring privacy and convenience when providing samples. The nurses and doctor were incredibly respectful, minimizing unnecessary physical contact and always explaining their procedures beforehand. The receptionist deserves a special mention for her compassion and understanding – the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth. Ive already recommended this clinic to all my female cousins and friends. This place is a hidden gem, and despite being new to me, Im absolutely in love with it. A job very well done!

Went in for a covid test after arranging an appointment online. Plenty of parking at this location both aroynd the office and also in the adjacent CVS parking lot. The facility is clean and neat, with helpful staff. Online appointment was easy to arrange, hardly any wait at all once Id arrived. No crowd at all. My appt was for 11:45am on a Monday. And there were lollipops!!

Clean, friendly staff. I was even taken before my pre-selected time since the were not too busy. Very thorough and caring.

Them: Go to the Emergency Room if you feel worse because it gets worse before it gets better. I called day after my in person visit b/c more coughing & darker sputum (sorry to be gross). Curt office staff in person and on the phone. Doc diagnosed me with a virus based on my verbal description and looking in throat, not nasal passages or ears. A little empathy helps when people dont feel well - none from staff. Doc had good bedside manner. But how can you properly diagnose me without looking in my ears or nasal passages? And dont tell me to call if it gets worse if youre gonna send me to the ER.

I’ve visited this location twice in recent weeks. I can’t say enough about how kind, caring and efficient the staff is. I am especially grateful to have been seen by PA Maria, who was sweet, knowledgeable and genuinely caring with my 2 year old. She even called to follow up to see how he was doing. I’m so grateful to have this option since it is local and has very convenient hours.

I had an amazing experience at this urgent care despite it being at 10:30pm at night the entire team was attentive, caring and fast. The entire team worked together to help my husband that had a very bad case of Flu B. We were shocked to be in such a great care at this urgent care.

1.5 hour wait and still not been seen… unacceptable - make sure you are not sick to visit this “medical” care office

This urgent care is amazing! I came here yesterday for a walk in and was seen immediately. The front desk staff was very friendly and she explained my insurance benefits to me which no other place does and the medical assistant who I saw was the best ever! She did a nose swab and throat swab and it didn’t hurt at all! I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back when I need a urgent care, thank you!!

I made an online appointment for lunchtime and arrived exactly on time. The staff was courteous and professional. My only complaint is they took all of my personal and insurance information and had me sign in before asking me why I wanted to be seen. When I told them I needed an xray for a possible broken toe they told me their facility did not have an xray unit. They did tell me there was another place up the road that could help me but I wouldnt have had time to be seen at that point. Also, the other facility wasnt affiliated with Northwell. Perhaps asking the patient why they need to be seen before making a chart and taking their confidential information would save a lot of time and effort on everyones part.

Very clean and modern office. The medical staff were so professional, kind and helpful.The doctor was excellent with explaining the reason for my severe eye infection and prescribed drops and oral prescription to clear it up in no time.I highly recommend visiting this Northwell Health urgent care facility in Mineola NY anytime you are in need of medical assistance.

After getting an appointment extremely quickly, I was seen on time, encountered very friendly and helpful staff, was given clear instructions, and had every question answered. I felt very cared for and that’s all one wants when they’re not feeling well. I have had tremendous peace of mind knowing that the Mineola location is right near me throughout the scary moments of the last few years - can’t thank them enough.

The office was clean, the receptionist was responsive and respectful. The medical assistant was lovely - patient and compassionate. Dr. Patel was also very kind and compassionate- she took the time to make sure to review my history completely so that she could effectively treat my illness.

The staff was great , the practitioner was very friendly and competent. When the pharmacy I picked for medication screwed up, the staff in gohealth quickly remedied the situation.

Customer service is terrible. As I was waiting for the door to open, I needed to use the bathroom. I kindly ask to use the bathroom. This physician assistant told me I had to wait until 9 am. When I insisted, she let me in and rudely told me to just go to the bathroom, as if I was some homeless asking to use the bathroom. Its Sunday, and about 8:56 am. This lady told me she can only let me in only if it is related to UTI. I told her I didnt know, however I am about to urinate on myself. She argued with me before letting me in to use the bathroom. I thought that was kind of inhumane and the poorest customer service ever. Nobody cared.

The staff was amazing! This is one of the most efficiently run urgent care centers Ive been in, and I received care that was so excellent I would not think about visiting anywhere else the next time I need emergency attention. Everyone was respectful and their service was impeccable as they kept me updated along the way. They deserve a round of applause. Keep it up you guys.

Terrible mistake coming here. Unhelpful front desk. As a walk in, they say it will take long. Make an appointment come back later, still waiting an hour. Whats the point of urgent care if you wait. Waiting here one hour only two seen. Asked to wait more because of emergency and theres no one. They didnt ask for the chief complaint, they didnt take vitals. Triaging based on what? Leaving to go to another provider.

Tuesday Feb 27, 2024, someone answered the phone, said hold please and its currently 25 minutes of listening to island music. Cant imagine what its like waiting in the office. Urgent care not urgent to get people off hold. Now 28 minutes no more music.

Anjli Kakwani is a wonderful PA. Kind, caring, patient, bright and resourceful with her diagnoses. No matter what we bring in, she hits the nail on the head for my family and me.

The people were nice but by far the worst walk in I’ve ever been to. the guy didn’t comprehend a word I said. I had to spell out every word for him to put in my chart. the PA came in, just told me to gargle with salt water & gave nothing to help me. The viral infection now escalated to severe bronchitis, I am almost to the point of pneumonia. Had they helped me when I first came, I would’ve been ahead of it & wouldn’t be so violently sick right now.

The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. She gave a bottle of water when I was coughing. The doctor and nurse were very thorough and treated me very well. I will definitely go back there and recommend them to family and friends ☺️

I’ve been to a few Urgent Care Centers and this Northwell Health Urgent Care Center is the best facility I’ve been to. The staff is great and professional. Special thanks to Cheryl and Sharone who are understanding and caring. My wife and I came in for a rapid antigen test and we were anxious and nervous but Cheryl and Sharone were so kind and reassuring that we felt at ease while we waited for the results. The facility is clean and well maintained. Thanks Northwell Health for keeping such a wonderful staff and facility.

I had a quick appointment this afternoon, and the lead doctor was so kind, probably one of the nicest doctors Ive encountered in a while. Not once did I feel hesitant or uncomfortable to ask questions. He was extremely patient and understanding with his explanations. I didnt catch his name unfortunately -- but let it be known that his exceptional hospitality did not go unnoticed! The nurse was also great.Update: The attending physician was Dr. Park!

Visit was for covid retest. My husband and I were taken care of together. Nurse was pleasant, experienced and very gentle. PA was very knowledgeable, even more than some doctors. Nice visit even for medical . Would go again , when and if necessary.

My experience at this place was awful. I had to wait for a long time, just to have the doctor tell me to keep doing what I’m already doing, which is taking allergy medicine and use my asthma inhaler. The whole reason I went to an urgent care is because I wasn’t feeling great after doing the usual when I have a really bad allergy reaction to the weather/pollen/pollution. But going there was completely useless, as the doctor barely looked at me, and whoever went there before the doctor was absolutely rushing and didn’t give me time to explain my symptoms. I felt like they didn’t care about what I was feeling and the doctor kept giving me the same answers after all the questions I asked him. It was the worst experience I had at an Urgent Care so far. Avoid this place if you can.

The staff at Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care were the best health care professionals that Ive had the pleasure of being tended by. Everyone there was very professional and nice. Especially the Dr. she made me feel comfortable and she listened to me and helped me. I will definitely go back if I need urgent care, and I will certainly tell everyone I know about the awesome care that I received at this clinic.

There wasnt a radiologist tech on site. The staffed called around and found a tech. My son was then able to get the x-ray needed for his hand. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure my son received there care he needed. Id definitely recommend Go Health in Mineola!

I enjoyed my visit here. Although not under the circumstances, I appreciate the Swift check in time. After they verify your insurance the wait isnt long. The facilities are very clean and maintained. The rooms for the patients are very roomy and well-kept. The doctor was friendly and very helpful.

The PA refused to give me Paxlovid because I started to have cough a week ago. Inspite of me telling him I had a negative home test result then. Thankfully the call center gave me medicine. I am very sick. I needed some medicine. PA said no medicine for long COVID, we don’t treat .

Been going to this GoHealth since it opened. Love it here. The office is extremely clean and everyone is always so nice. I used them today. I made an appointment online last night and got in early today, was seen and taken care of in a very timely manner. I do not live in the immediate area but have no problem driving to this location just because they are so good. Thank you today to the girls in the office and to Joe who took good care of me.

Wow! my visit was short and informative. The atmosphere is beautiful and very inviting. It. Is very modern and technology driven so everything runs very smooth. My visit lasted about 45 minutes and the PA that treated me was knowledgeable and very warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend Go Health to anyone for a quick and hassle free visit. No long wait times and you can even check in online for faster service.

The staff was couteous, attentive, and provided speedy care. I arrived with difficulty breathing and i was taken care of immediately, the doctor on staff was caring and attended to all of my needs, my medications were called in and ready for me by the time my commute was over. This place is THE BEST when you need immediate help. I would definitely give more than 5 stars if I could. Friendly staffs, prompt service, and superb after care. And I can not say how awesome Dr. Kevin Reiter is. He did everything needed to be done immediately, gave me all the follow-ups, and when I had a question after the visit, I called the office and I could speak to him to get an answer directly from the Dr. And all the staffs are so kind and professional, they provided me with a copy of test result & images for my dr. to review in 10 min after my phone call. When you consider going to Drs office, you are already sick or hurt, you dont want all other hassle and long wait. They take you right in, and you will leave the place happy.

No fault probably of the receptionist but their scheduling of patient appointments needs work, what’s the point of an urgent care where you need to wait more than an hour for simple things even if you have an appointment

I am 81 years old and cant stand out in the cold to be tested. I was,exposed at Church and,was quite concerned as I have COPD. Your staff was very kind and understanding and able to give me an appointment where I just had to enter the building. I Will definitely keep that location in mind when my own doctors,are not available.Hope all of you stay safe and well in the future.

Online appointment idea is great, though caught me off guard when I was invited in 45 minutes before the appointment time. Rushed in through rain and fog to get there for the injury appointment for my daughter who needed to have an Xray. Was then told at front desk that they arent offering Xrays right now. They should not advertise that they offer Xrays and/or should notify you of that when you schedule an Injury appointment they do not have Xrays available.

I was visiting USA, my diabetes drugs finished during my visit. In GoHealth a refill was prescribed by viewing my e-medical record on my phone without the need of blood test and I wasn’t charged a dollar for seeing the doctor. It was a courtesy visit ❤️ GoHealth for having a lunch after I got the medicine because I was fasting all day to lower the sugar level on my blood.

This staff is truly unbelievable! They are some of the kindest individuals and work so hard under enormous pressure! Every experience I’ve had has been a wonderful one and no matter my ailment I always walk out of there feeling better!! ☺️

Visited today with a relative and I dealt with Marsha R, the RT, she was sweet, compassionate, helpful and made our visit more than I could have ever imagined. Going to the urgent care is usually a dread as it was today but Marsha made us feel so much better about our unfortunate visit. Very thankful for her today. Rude associates at front desk. There was a man and woman. I went in yesturday morning because I had a severe cut. I was bleeding tremendously and they turned me away. Didnt even bother calling a doctor. There were no patients there. That says something. They treated me like I was a bother as I tried to explain how dire my situation was. The guy aggressively said you are not listening to me as though he was talking to a child crying wolf. Highly dissatisfied with the behavior and response. Very unprofessional. What kind of medical facility turns away a wounded patient? They showed absolutely no remorse. Go to city MD. The staff there went out of their way to help as always.

Saw a doctor today, she advise medication for illness. Promised to send over a prescription to cvs. They were rushing to leave and doctor did not send prescription over. Had to spend another night in discomfort due to her neglect.

When you need a quick place other than an ER room (depending on your injury etc) this place is super. Checked in online on my way there. Professional staff, not crowded for a Saturday afternoon. I was seen almost immediately, by a very knowledgeable P.A. Who put our minds at ease. 4 stars due to the fact that I had to return to fix the choice of cast on my ankle.Both our faults.

I was feeling really sick & was having a hard time catching my breathe my Doctor is always busy so I decided to try Go Health. It was the Best Decision I made! The staff was so understanding & I didnt have to wait long. Wonderful Doctor gave me the antibiotics I needed and a Nebulizer Treatment Ive never had before, I was feeling pretty good when I left there and still smile when I think about all everyone at the Mineola Walk In has done for me! I have visited the Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Center in Mineola on three occasions in the past year. A couple of weeks ago, I had made an appointment with a doctor and the earliest availability was September. After examining me, Dr. Patel and the staff were able to move the appointment up. So, after a Sunday visit at this urgent care center, I was able to see this doctor on Tuesday. Thank you, Dr. Patel and staff.

A disclaimer that I wasn’t actually seen here. I was experiencing some chest pains that kept me up all night and came back the next morning, so I called a friend of mine who is a surgeon and he recommended that I get an ekg at an urgent care and not head to an ER right away. I walked in and explained this to the gentleman at the front desk and a doctor immediately jumped in and stated that I need to understand that if the ekg is inconclusive she would have to probably send me to an ER. I get it. I understand that not everything will show up during an exam, and that maybe an urgent care doesn’t have the same resources as an ER to treat patients. However, to say this to me before I was even seen, knowing I said I have chest pains and basically being more concerned about the possibility of me possibly being sent to an ER was a complete turn off, and probably something that would have been better said to me in the privacy of an exam room. I was uncomfortable with the visit before I was even seen. Thankfully, they weren’t in network with my insurance and I was able to be seen elsewhere.I am not a difficult patient and do not like leaving negative reviews. But hopefully this helps the practice see how these types of interactions may affect a potential patient in a negative way.

The moment I walked in the lady at the front was yelling asking what I needed(I wasn’t even at the desk yet) explained to her that I wanted a rapid COVID test for school. She made me look it up because “I didn’t know what type of testing there are”. The whole time giving a terrible attitude and yelling. Oh and the best part the other workers kept complaining about the people walking in. Why be in a healthcare profession if you can’t have bedside manner. I usually go to northwell lab but unfortunately I had to come and deal with this. Names are Michelle and Gisselle. Doctor was friendly.Ps: 4 other people walked out complaining about the attitude these two ladies had.

If hopes and wishes could cure. Go there if you only want to see a doctor that willNEVER prescribe you any medication and give you100 reason why they cant give you a medicine. Mychild was suffering after 2 visit in 3 days and finallywent to see real doctor (believe me it is worth thewait ) and they gave medicines and my child isimmediately better and lost the fever. If these foreigndoctors could get a job in good places they wont runthese doctor shops for a profession.

We had to make an emergent visit as my son was bitten by a dog, the staff and the docs were super friendly. We only waited a few minutes, it was easy to make an appointment and we were done in no time.

My visit was on the 07/25/2020 @ 3PM , time was a major concern in regards to getting my result on time, I was assured by DR. Patel and her staffs, that everything will be ok, and surly their prediction were corrected, they did went the extra mile that day. Thanks again. Lynox.

Relatively quick considering a walk-in. Doctor explained the diagnosis & treatment clearly and staff professional and cordial.

Courteous, welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly environment..no wait time at all...perfection found! even 2 national pharmacies right next door...will be back and will highly recommend to family, friends and work colleagues.

I was seen in about 15 minutes from the moment I walked in the door. They helped me understand what was really going on. The doctor was really down to earth and didnt have that holier than thou type attitude. Would recommend everyone to go here.

ZERO customer service. Dr. Patel so busy lecturing about the jab he FORGOT to call in my meds! When I & CVS tried to call they DO NOT answer phone so I had to go back and wait 2 more hours. TERRIBLE!

They sent through the wrong prescription and neither I or my pharmacy has been able to contact them in the last 24 hours. Calls are all going to a full voicemail box.

The staff talked about all the patients and how high maintenance we are I really think we should make this public they need help or they need to close this location down some of them aren’t even real doctors they’re pretending to be
