We had good experience with this office with our 2nd born and now we are going back to them with our 3rd. Everyone was nice and friendly they kept up with our appointments. Communication was great.
Martina chiodi took away from having a normal birth I was peer pressured by her and assisting nurse to have a c section I had my water break at 9am I went to the Murrieta rancho springs hospital I was 3 centimeters dilated and I was given pitocin 1 hr into being in the hospital also offered epidural which I took Dr had came in at 10am -11am to tell me she would wait for me till 12am on March 22,2016 and yet I was peer pressured by her and another rn /cna to have a c section that it was the best decision that I could get an infection when I was told she could wait till 12am if need to be they came to pressure me at 3pm my daughter was delivered via c section by 6:15pm March 22 2016 she took away from being a normal vaginal mama and I wont ever forgive her for that ! Terrible Dr she always told me there wouldnt be issues she became the issue Im writing this now because Ive been seeing it around videos news stating how lazy obgyn s have been doing unnecessary C-sections if she did that to me if I could still sue I would she caused trauma and drama between my mother that came from las Vegas NV and my husband being a first time fatger to pick between them two ! Dont come to her go somewhere else Dr dimmente is better I had my twins in July 282017 by her and she was checking on my following pregnancy which then I moved to Las Vegas NV and had that child here in Las Vegas NV no to Martina chiodi!
8/19/21 Spoke too soon about the possibility of this office actually being a good place. Last week on Tuesday I was informed of positive lab work regarding open tube neural defect which resulted in me needing to see a perinatal specialist in San Diego. 1st off they wanted me to wait a week until my apt with Dr. Chiodi to get the number to the specialist to set up an apt, I instead called the specialist myself and set up an apt that very next day. Once we got to the specialist the news wasnt great. The specialist tried to reach Dr. Chiodi on her personal line and the office line, no response. Then said hed fax the office my paper work regarding the news and next steps that I needed to take. But because dr. Chiodi was the referring dr, that office had to set up my following care with another facility. This all happened last Thursday. It has now been a full WEEK and I have never heard from Dr. Chiodi. Left messages. Needless to say I took my care elsewhere to advocate for myself since apparently my own OB had better things to do. This office is horrible. My husband and I will never use this place again. I have felt like less then human from this office through this tragic news of my child and our loss.**UPDATE: the midwife reached out to me personally and went over the lab process and answered my questions. This did put me at ease and gave me a lot of clarification I needed. I do appreciate her taking that time to speak with me and make things better on my end.***Doctor is perfectly fine. First visit I felt comfortable and at ease with her. Front staff leaves something to be desired. Labs arent properly explained whatsoever to you. Im only in my 1st trimester and Im already so upset that my journey will be with this office. To have a nurse not be able to explain the lab procedures to you does not put me at ease in any way. Sadly at the mercy of my insurance.
This place seemed decent at first, but their front office is terrible and never answers their phone. You end up playing voicemail tag with them and I have had to just go see them in person sometimes.Dr. Chiodi is great in person, but is not understanding of patient needs when it comes to paperwork. I was told to have my primary fill out paperwork for my work, but the issue had to do with my reproductive system, why would my primary fill it out? Then I was told if I wished to speak with her about it, I would have to make an appointment 1 MONTH away. Her gross incompetence has put my job and livelihood in jeopardy and I will NEVER come here again.
Martina and Tran were my OBGYN last year and delivered our son this past March! I love these ladies and the office staff! Every visit was wonderful and I cant wait to continue with them for our future little ones!
Gosh where do I start. I cant believe how they handled me during my miscarriage. I had called Dr. Chiodis office because I found out I was pregnant with my 3rd. Totally unexpected. They told me to come pick up a lab slip to check my HCG so I did. They never called me so I called and got my levels. I told them I was bleeding and they said there is nothing they can do to go to the ER. So I did. When I got to the ER I called to find out my levels to see if they were going down or up. They put me on hold then told me to talk to the nurse which didnt pick up so I had to leave a message (never got a call back). Well while in the ER since they had nothing to compare my blood too they sent me home after running tests and told me I need to follow up with more BLOOD and an ULTRASOUND in 48 hours with my OB. When I called the office and explained they said they dont see any patients until they are 8 weeks pregnant and if Im bleeding still to go back to the ER. Mind you my copay is $400 each time so 2 ER visits and that put me at $800 before Christmas! I told them but the ER isnt sure if Im miscarrying and They told me I need to see an OB! So anyways they wouldnt see me. So back to the ER I went a few days later and since I had my blood work from the previous ER visit I was able to compare my levels and we came toTerms that I am miscarrying. But the ER insisted that I still be screened by an OB to confirm no infection occurs and everything has left the uterus. So I called back again and they said no not until Im 8 weeks but I said I wasnt pregnant and that this is what the ER is recommending that needs to be done. They said no sorry if you dont feel good go back to the ER. So I said F this and called trinity womens health and Dr. Kim saw me immediately. She did an ultra sound and said I am OK and that the cramping and bleeding should stop in a day or so. She was RIGHT! Thank god because it was the week before Christmas and not only was I going through physical pain and super dizzy but the emotional pain of not knowing where I stand was driving me nuts! I cant believe they would treat their patients this way. No phone call from them on my blood work results even STILL and I did the blood work 7-14 days ago! Run fast from this place please! They could care less about their patients!
I love Dr. Chiodi! She is so friendly and personable. I have been with her for over three years now and she has been so wonderful. She figured out my medical problem when others couldnt as well as brought my daughter into the world and will bring my new baby boy too in a few months! She helped my family member through a number of miscarriages and was very professional but still sympathetic about the situation with her. If you are looking for an Ob/Gyn who can get you through a tough time, take care of your womanly medical needs and make you have a good laugh, then PLEASE make an appointment to go see Dr. Chiodi.
I would not recommend unless your ok with spending a lot of money on deductibles for wasted tests and appointments! I call to try and ask a question and leave a voicemail and never get a callback so your forced to make an appointment. I had a follow up today and main reason was because they were going to request my records from previous insurance and instead she tried to review test results that had already been given to me over the phone. When asked if she had reviewed my records she had to go check and then came back and said still hadn’t gotten them. Why was my appointment not pushed back? Oh so I can pay another $50 to come again!
My 7th baby. Horrible experience thus far. Haven’t even given birth so high anxiety. I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and supposed to be induced but staff is telling me that I’ll have to be scheduled....well been going here for months so someone dropped the ball. I have had bare minimum contact with providers one of which kept pushing csection which I refuse so really feel uncomfortable all around with this pregnancy. I’m hoping my birthing experience goes better than being seen at this place.
Dr. Chiodi is amazing. I had such an amazing experience with her and plan on using her again when I am pregnant with baby number two. Her bedside manner is amazing and she always took the time to listen to and address all of my concerns. I had a very rough pregnancy and she was always there when I needed her.
I love Dr. Chiodi. Her bedside manner is very gentle and her personality is great. She has been my go to OBGYN for the past couple of years and my first experience with her was very nice, as she actually took the time to answer my questions and talk to me about concerns. She never made me feel like she was in a rush to get to the next patient. She thoroughly went through different options for birth control and doesnt try to push any type. She gives information and doesnt try and persuade you to any certain method.
Thank you Dr. Chiodi for your exceptional surgical skill. Performing the Colpocleisis surgery on me 13 days ago has rejuvenated my life. I no longer am a slave to my condition. It is gone and I feel a freedom I have not had since 1971. I no longer have to locate every restroom and every rest stop. I don’t feel 75. I feel the freedom of being in control of my body instead of being a slave to it. The pain is gone! I will be eternally grateful to you for your kindness and caring. I also appreciate your sense of humor laughing at my jokes. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The mild soreness from the surgery is almost gone which is remarkable for how extensive it was. Also, I did not need any pain meds at all.
Great experience! The team has delivered two of my babies and has taken care of me over the years. I love how personable the doctors are. They were on top of all my care and went over and beyond. Would highly recommend.
This is my second pregnancy with this practice. With my first, I frequently saw both Dr. Tran & Dr. Chiodi but ultimately Tran was the Dr who delivered my first daughter. Both Dr’s are extremely nice and helpful and I was happy to have Dr. Tran deliver. This second pregnancy I have mainly seen Dr. Tran which I am more than ok with 😊 she’s great. I’m a pretty shy person but she makes me feel comfortable to ask questions, I never feel rushed (with whoever I see there). Front office ladies are always nice. The MA’s are also all very nice and personable. It’s not a large practice which I like, because you can actually get to know and remember all there faces! Makes it more comfortable going in for any appointment needs. They also have an emergency line after hours which is so awesome.
I went in to see Dr. Chiodi for my first pregnancy. Very disappointed. As a medical assistant myself I saw things that where not ok in a medical office, let alone an OB-GYN. Ultrasound equipment very dirty. You are never able to get a hold of them by phone. took me 3 days of calling continuously before they answered my call. I also brought up to the Dr. that I was experiencing some sort of pain in my back and all she said is go see a chiropractor. Very unhappy with the care of this office.
I’m furious. My appointment was supposed to be today, so I got off work early, drove 40 minutes to my appointment to see all the lights off inside, the door locked and no one answering the phones. This is inexcusable. Major waste of my time and money. No one called me to tell me there was a change in their schedule. It’s not hard to call a patient and reschedule but they didn’t care to give me the courtesy. Now I have to wait another week for my referral to be approved to see another doctor and wait who knows how long for an appointment there. I’m so upset. These doctors obviously don’t care about anyone but themselves. Never f***ing again.
Im lucky that my daughter survived with this individual constituted as care. I refuse to call Chiodi a doctor. Her lack of concern or regard nearly cost my daughter and her mother their lives. In response to Chiodis response:We switched before my daughter died. We had to switch to a high risk OB because you were more concerned with telling my daughters mother why she should not have had gastric bypass surgery before getting pregnant as if that was her plan. Right after we switched, my daughter was diagnosed with failure to thrive in the womb. Luckily, her new OB ordered immediate blood transfusions and multiple times a week monitoring. He wasnt concerned with lecturing. He was actually concerned about their health. We explained to you after the first lecture that we have been told we werent going to get pregnant before the surgery. It was not planned. You didnt seem to care about that. You refused to offer any extra testing or monitoring. You dismissed my ex-wifes failing health and the lack of weight gain for my daughter. Go ahead and give all of the legal response you think you want to give, but it isnt going to excuse that if we had waited even a couple days longer I probably wouldnt have my daughter right now. Do you want me to keep going on with the details?Your peer review is a joke. Your response itself shows a lack of empathy or care. At this point, you were better off not saying anything at all. We werent the only ones to have a similar experience. News about you is all over Facebook. Others are sharing their story too. I think you should do us all a favor and start responding on there as well with your peer review.Expectant parents: There are plenty of happy people with Chiodi. People with normal, run-of-the-mill pregnancies in which there were no complications or other circumstance. But how do you know you dont have something out of the ordinary going on if your doctor is just going to dismiss it and not even care? Is it worth the risk? There was not anyting in our case in which we could prove malpractice. For that to happen, my daughter would have had to die. Im glad we didnt have an actual case. It doesnt mean Im going to be quiet and let others go in blind.
Martina Choidi is a stupid and really mean doctor I have ever seen, I went to her for the pelvic pain I had she didnt examine me in the right way just for her own benefit she ordered me an ultrasound and the result come up that I have a fibroids in my uterus, I was really very sad and so much hopeless. when I went to her for the follow up she did a really cold behave with me and did not even spend more then 5 minutes with me and didnt direct me what is the next step to take. When I went back to my state back I went to my doctor she examined me and orderd another ultrasound. The results come up that there was not any fibroids in my uterus and my OB said the pain was from the mild infection I had. So i am writing this to tell all not to waste your time with such a mean and rude OB which does not know anything and her main goal is your money not your health.
They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Ive never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it.They have a huge staff thats very knowledgeable and qualified. Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for.Ive seen client favoritism at some of the other places Ive been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here.
Recently switch over to las brisas ob/gyn and felt very welcomed when walking in to the office, have been seen by both dr Chiodi and dr Tran, both made me feel very comfortable during my visits. I was seen by dr Chiodi on the first visit where she explained my results (which I was worried about) to me and made me feel at peace, she also answered all my questions in a professional matter which I am very thankful for. On my second visit I was seen by dr Tran which also made me feel very comfortable, she explained the procedure that was going to be done, answered all my questions which calmed my nerves. Procedure was done in a professional and timely manner. I’m very appreciative of both doctors, I would recommend Las Brisas OB/GYN.
I had wonderful experience with my baby birth on July 31st 2021, Dr.Tran is just awesome, she was so helpful and supportive. My second pregnancy I went to here , I really want to thank all the 3 doctors.
I delivered my healthy baby boy with her. She took excellant care of us. My hasband also was no stranger she welcomed every question and concern he had. My son is 1 now he was breast feed for 12 months no health problems at all thanks to her thank you doctor.
LOVED IT! Just had my baby and was terribly scared of something going wrong ended up having to have my baby via c-section and my every question concern was all answered. I was checked on by both dr. during postpartum. They Made everything a lot easier! The staff is very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend dr.chiodi and dr.Tran!
Dr. Martina Chiodi is the best gynecologist I have ever been to. She is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. She also speaks several languages. I highly recommend her.Arecommend her.languages.X
Dr. Chiodi is so wise and knowledgeable , not only as a respected physician, but as a womans confidant.Im 77 years old and well beyond child bearing years (smile), but after giving birth to three large babies in the 50s and 60s, having a hysterectomy in 1974, and now suffering from cystocele (bladder prolapse), she has has prescribed an alternative to surgery, which I am very grateful. She spent quality time with me explaining my options and answered my questions and concerns.Thank you, Dr. Chiodi.
DONT GO TO HER! If you say anything negative at all about her on Facebook or have another doctor review your papers she will drop you! So many women being dropped weeks away from their pregnancy with no where to go! Dont bother, start early somewhere else so you dont have to go through this!!!
Was scheduled for my first OB appointment and rescheduled me until the first week of October when I will be well into my second trimester. Unacceptable
Terrible place! please dont waste your time and money here because they wont give you a pelvic exam when you need one! They never answer their phone and I walked in on the front desk doing nothing while I was on hold on my cellphone. They are a horrible place that I want to report
Worst OB in all of the Inland Empire. Run far away from this intervention happy, fear mongering, bedside manner lacking, terrible excuse for an OBGYN.
Doesn’t matter the time of day you call, they will never answer and it always says you called after hours, even when it’s smack in the middle of their work day. Avoid at all costs.
Both doctors Chioti and Dr. Tran are AMAZING very respectful and very knowledgeable as I would expect... I will recommend anyone to them plus their Staffs are very polite.
This place is a joke! If you are not super young or a size 4 then they label you as high risk and refuse to help you.....even if you have no prior complications! Horrible place!
Lol I read all the reviews and I decide even w bad comments to give a chance I call and as soon the answer me the put me on hold after couple minutes of waiting i decide to keep looking for another place ..
Worst ever don’t go here she does not care for your life
Professional and sincere
