Im sorry, Im writing this review but this time I m really frustrated after being patient more than one year . However the nurses whom usually doing the procedure are really nice and helpful with front desk receptionists but Im not satisfied with the service provided by this department of UCI . It seems impossible to get an appointment for DR. It takes up to two or three months for a procedure appointment. If you get to your appointment , You have to wait for at least one to two hours after your appointment time to be called and no one pay attention to your appointment time. You should consider several hours of your day to refer to this section I’m so sorry to say that but it’s reality.Ihave been under treatment here for more than a year, but I rarely saw the doctor once or twice, although the examinations are done two , three times, but the results have never been shared with me unfortunately I still dont know if I should continue or not because I dont see the changes and the Dr to talk with him.The nurses told me to get another authorization if you want to meet the Dr and consult about your health care situation than it’s Two months after receiving the insurance authorization , I am trying to make an appointment with a doctor for consultation but every time after wasting hours on the telephone the customer services promised to call me back but never got one yet . I really get tired of being ignored and I can’t be silent anymore. In addition the my chart in the UCI online is also not working properly for me and my update health info hasn’t shared with my primary doctor which is unacceptable and need to be fixed by the hospital management team.
I had an appointment with Dr Sadeghi for a procedure. My appointment was scheduled for 230pm did not leave the office until 4pm. They take me back closer to 3pm get me all ready cleaned sterile for the procedure left lying down for 50 minutes!!!! Can’t get up move because the area is sterile. Anyways doctor finally gets in after 50minutes does not even apologize.
The staff at UCI Urology has been fantastic in the several years they have been taking care of my needs. My in group urologist did not feel comfortable with a surgery I needed. He referred me to UCI Urology and Doctor Roshan Patel took on the case. He is a kind man that explains the issues well. He seems more like a friend than a doctor during visits. He took a difficult surgery and handled it perfectly. The office is great and setting up follow ups and getting referrals.
I want to share my terrible experience in case it helps someone considering seeking care at UCI, Orange location. I was offered a follow up appointment at 11:45 am Monday 1/8, and got a call from their office asking if I could come in sooner at 10:45 am. I was available, so I decided to work with their schedule. At no point in this call, was I told there is a *15 min* grace period for the appointment. Parking at UCI Orange location is typically busy, so I got there 10 mins before the appointment. But, with valet backed up to City Dr., a shut down parking lot, and a third entrance backed up, it took me 25 mins to park. I tried to call their office to inform, but got a vm. When I checked in, I let the staff know that I was late because of the parking situation, and that I worked with their scheduling request. Despite this, another staff member informed me, they could not see me because of the 15 min grace, and will need to reschedule. Talk about *an unforgiving experience*!I asked for a copy of my medical records so I could seek care elsewhere, and was told the doctors office cant release it until they have reviewed it with me??? (cough cough are you sure??) I am working with their patient relations to resolve this, so will update my review here if this gets any better.
I met with Dr. Ali before and after my surgical procedure. Dr. Ali is a very professional and approachable doctor that is very interested in “your” health. Dr. Ali explains your “plan of care” in an easy to understand manner. Dr. Ali and his staff also made sure to have my future needed appointments organized and scheduled for me. I highly recommend Dr. Ali and his staff at UCI. Thank you Dr. Ali for your excellent care.
Appointment was on time. Check in was aided by a courteous staff. My doctor communicates well and readily shares his expertise when discussing aspects of my visit. The facility is clean and well staffed reassuring me that I am receiving quality medical care.
I saw Dr. Olivia Chang yesterday. It was the worst doctor visit I ever had. She denied all the symptoms I had and the diagnosis made by my previous doctor. She said that a lot of male doctors diagnosed female patients with that disease. I really didnt understand why it had to do with gender.I explained my symptoms to her, but she kept correcting the words I used, saying that the words I used meant something else for her. I didnt understand why the selection of words mattered that much as long as she understood what I was talking about.I tried to show her my pictures with and without my symptom, she quickly jumped to the conclusion that she didnt see anything only after I showed her the first picture. She didnt look at the questionnaire that I took time to answer carefully. And she said she didnt receive any of my records from my referring doctor, but my primary care doctor confirmed that she sent everything over. For all the information I gave her, her only feedback was that I didnt drink enough. Her attitude was hostile, condescending, and intimidating. This is my first time at UCI. She can easily destroy their reputation.
We made the right choice coming to UCI for my surgical procedure. I had the most excellent, meticulous and caring surgeons for my medical care. Someone was always available to talk to me when I needed advise over the phone after I was discharged. I am now felling 100% better and I cannot thank them enough!! I would give the team 10 stars if I could.
UCI Urology is by far the best facility that I have been to. I had surgery in March 2021. The staff made it super easy to prepare for surgery and for follow up appointments. The hospital itself was excellent. All of the nurses were extremely responsive and helpful.
UCI Urology is a first class medical practice. They are a model for what great looks like. The entire team provides a wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Jaime Landman and his team taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. Highly recommended.
I have been seen by multiple doctors over a series of multiple related issues over the last few years. Each doctor has been professional and highly knowledgeable. I appreciate that there is a strong collaborative and communicative system in place which also includes info sent to my family doctor. I feel highly confident that I am receiving the best care available. I trust each doctors insights and recommendations.
We couldnt ask for a better place to take care of my wifes kidney surgery. Her right kidney had to be removed due to a cancerous tumor. The whole process was smooth and we were kept informed every step of the way during and after the surgery. She had almost no pain after surgery. Dr Landmans whole team was courteous and professional with a real personalized approach. We are very happy and we highly recommend the UCI Urology Department.
The medical group I was with found an AML on my right kidney and three doctors recommended that the kidney be removed. I am so grateful that I got a fourth opinion with Dr Jaime Landman at UCI who suggested an ablation that would cut off the blood supply to the growth. This procedure not only saved my kidney but shrunk the growth to barely nothing. The Urology group UCI is fantastic. 🥰
I’ve been to many many medical centers in my lifetime and UCI is by far my least favorite in general, but to be more specific, the oncology department and Urology department. In this particular review I will focus on Urology. I’ve been to more than a handful of urologists at UCI Orange and all of them had the same terrible solution to my current (complex be it) problem. But, disagreeing with doctors who are willing to quickly jeopardize any quality of life I have left remaining is more of a complaint in most eyes than a review of their eagerness to prescribe trash remedies for ailments they were taught specific westernized information about and topics they are only practicing. (I don’t know if you’ve ever practiced anything but it’s not the same as mastering). So, instead of a lengthy complaint about my particular issues with UCI I will use something as simple and concrete as getting medical supplies delivered to a patient in a reasonable amount of time.According to UCI records (not mine), since December 8, 2020 I’ve been trying to get crucial medical supplies for the upkeep of my bilateral nephrostomy tubes. I’ve contacted them more times than anyone should need to. I’ve exhausted messages, voicemails, emails, phone calls, any avenue I possibly could so that I don’t become terribly infected and have to be hospitalized (in general but also) during this pandemic which may be a threat to my life as I seem to collect illnesses since being “treated” for cancer in UCIs oncology department.Dr. Moskowitz did eventually put in an order for supplies after about a month and a half of increasing hounding and I did eventually receive a phone call from the medical supply company letting me know they needed a few more things from her to fulfill my order. I called and later emailed the office again relaying the medical supplies company’s message and the company did the same. It’s now been over two months and I have yet to receive supplies or a response to the latest messages. Yesterday, the supplies company called to say that they’ve exhausted their efforts in trying to contact Dr. Moskowitz and that they can no longer help me but they’ll be ready if and when I can reach her and have her complete their last bits of paperwork in order to send out the supplies.I have been very ill and I’m seeking permanent disability, I haven’t worked in a very long time, and I come from a poor family so simply purchasing the supplies isn’t something I can easily do without having to choose over other necessities like food or shelter. I just wanted to share this for the other poor people seeking “award winning” help for illnesses they didn’t inflict on themselves. Maybe go to Hoag or St. Joes instead if possible.Since Moskowitz and the urology department at UCI have taken such an uncomfortably (and personally I believe insane) amount of time to (pretend to) help I’ve been able to have another doctor send me in to St. Joseph’s in home services program and yesterday, the day after meeting with them, I had a big box of all of the supplies I need waiting on my doorstep. No stress, no hounding, no emails, no calls, no snarky attitude, no anything negative that comes directly from going to UCI.
Dr. Landman and Dr. Das provide top quality care. Their Medical knowledge is outstanding! They always take the time to answer my questions in a way I can understand. I would recommend them to my family and friends. An added plus the office staff is great!
I am writing this on my wifes google account. In 2018 I had green light laser surgery in a different hospital which resulted in a bladder neck obstruction. It took a while for the Dr to realize this so I looked for a different Dr. which resulted in me going to U.C.I..These are some of the observations I had from the two hospitals. The Dr.in U.C.I wanted to know the condition of the bladder beyond looking at it through the scope. The hospital surgery room appearance was better and seemed better equipped. They did manage to clear the blockage however it was severe ( almost 1 of scar tissue ) and I am now able to urinate without a supra pubic catheter. I would strongly recommend U.C.I.they are very knowledgeable patient and caring and Dr Moskowitz is patient and committed to giving you the best attention and care he is a five star plus. My thanks to U.C.I. urology and Dr Moskowitz.
Excellent care was taken of me from the start of my diagnosis, to my eventual surgery.I highly recommend Dr. Moskowitz and his staff, as well as the UCI Hospital staff. Very professional.
Very professional staff. The only reason for less than 5 stars is the UCI campus is a confusing place. Some parts seem cutting edge and others look quite old.I would recommend UCI.
If you need a great urologist this is the place to go. Both Dr. Landman and Dr. Moskowitz are excellent doctors.... experienced, knowledgeable, and caring .I have and continue to receive the best care from them and I am very to have found such great doctors here in Orange County.
UCI Urology is the best of the best! Latest technology, medical techniques and drug treatments. Dont waste your time going anywhere else. Start with the best and leave the rest!!!
I absolutely love the level of compassionate care and service that the UC Irvine Urology team has provided me. Very grateful for their expertise and caring staff!

Everyone is very professional and extremely compassionate
An excellent facility Very professional
Dr. Moskowitz is the best!
From what I see they dont speak Spanish, so bad service because in other places they do have bilingual staff to serve Hispanics
