Dr. Bayrak is one of the most compassionate doctors Ive had the privilege of working with. After a rather traumatic experience at a different clinic where I felt the focus was only on getting me pregnant and not on the health or safety of that pregnancy, I was determined to find a doctor who would listen, seek a proper diagnosis, and brainstorm a plan that was safe, effective, and aligned with the goals of our family and Dr. Bayrak was the right person for that role. Having received our history, the first words out of his mouth were ones of compassion for our losses and a commitment to help us find better solutions. It was such a refreshing change from doctors who seemed to view me less as a person as more as a petri-dish.We spent the first few months together diagnosing the nature of my infertility using all the tools at our disposal, giving me a strong sense of ownership over our journey. When it came time to move forward with IVF, my egg retrieval was simple, painless and highly effective, nothing compared to the painful hyperstimulation Ive experienced before. Same was true for the transfer, which was successful on our first go-around. The entire time, my emotions and anxiety around the process were addressed with compassion and information. No question was too silly. I never felt rushed or separated from the process.Im currently 28 weeks pregnant with our baby girl and this pregnancy has been significantly easier than my previous. Dr. Bayrak followed me until 10 weeks and I have been with my OB since. I am incredibly excited to welcome the newest member of our family so soon (and in much less time than we assumed wed need to get to this point). And if, and probably when, we decided to continue to expand our family, Im happy to know that Dr. Bayrak will be there for me for that journey, too, because this truly was a partnership that made me feel seen for the first time in many, many years of dealing with my infertility.
Me and husband tried to have a baby for 3yrs but nothing was happening until I meet Dr. Bayrak. He is the most compassionate doctors I meet. He made sure I felt comfortable, and safe with what ever procedure I was about to go through. I trusted him with my life and I’m so grateful for him because now we have a healthy 2 yr old girl. He made our dream come true and now We are excited to try for baby #2 next year!
I highly recommend Dr. Bayrak! He is very straightforward and put all my worries at ease in answering my questions and explaining everything very clearly. Before seeking treatment at LA IVF, I had been diagnosed with endometriosis and had 2 cyst removal surgeries. When my husband and I consulted with Dr. Bayrak, we inquired about our chances at a successful IVF treatment. They weren’t great, but it wasn’t impossible either. I felt that Dr. Bayrak sincerely cares for his patients and provides diligent services. It almost seems like he works 24-7 because he answers emails in less than 24 hours! We had an unsuccessful embryo transfer in our first transfer cycle. But with the second transfer (which we didn’t have many embryos to begin with), I am so delighted to say I’m pregnant and have graduated from LA IVF!
Dr. Bayrak, Linda, Sheri and Sylvia are wonderful!I went to another highly recommended Beverly Hills fertility specialist prior to LAIVF. I am a case of unexplained infertility. My hormone results were continually great for my age (trying through my 36th, 37th and 38th years), my tubes were open, and my husband had good swimmers and a good count according to the sperm tests he took multiple times over our three years of trying. I after many expensive tests and ultrasounds, I was eventually misdiagnosed at the BH clinic with excessive scar tissue around my left ovary that was causing the uterus and tubes to be tilted at an angle that greatly hinders pregnancy. I, therefore, had an unnecessary laparoscopy due to this. I ended up having very little scar tissue in there, which was burnt off and it in no way had hindered a pregnancy or the tubes, which were tested yet again while they were in there to make sure they were open. They were.We finally had to take an emotional and financial break from all the testing as our insurance does not cover any infertility issues. We then went to Dr. Bayrak as a second recommendation for fertility as the first was obviously not working out. Unlike the big, fancy office in BH that makes you feel like a number and that says, hey, look what we can afford with all the money you dish out to us, his Pasadena office is very nice, yet modest, which makes it very personal and comfortable. You dont feel like a number. He has a small and talented staff and, as you can see from the other reviews too, you will know them all by name. You have all of their emails, including Dr. Bayraks. If you email any of them, they are quick to reply. You also have his number and, believe me, I used it late on a weekend and he still kindly picked up and walked me through any questions I had regarding meds and/or concerns. My husband felt very comfortable with him and his staff too. I was defensive and skeptical after my prior experience and they handled that very well too. It is obvious that he cares very much about his work, his patients and so exudes a quiet confidence in his abilities. He does not BS you in anyway and is straight about all the facts. We tried the turkey baster, and because I had tried Clomid four times at the other place, we tried the shots of Follistim in the tummy. I made 13 eggs... too many for the turkey baster if they all dropped... so we chose to do the macro IVF. We found out through the IVF process that my husband has clumping sperm. Its not something that will be diagnosed with the normal sperm testing. (They are perfectly healthy... they just need to be separated!) Dr. Bayraks lab performed ICSI and 11 of the eggs were successfully inseminated through that process and we FINALLY had an explanation. Five healthy embryos survived until the 5th day. He implanted two and we found out we were pregnant two weeks later. I cried on Sheris shoulder for about 5 minutes! I turned 39 the next month. They were all so happy for us (I even got happy email from Linda as she was not in the office when I found out) and very supportive through the next 12 weeks until graduation back to my OBGYN. I had a scare with the hormones and had some cramping at about 5 weeks. Dr. Bayrak kept me calm, upped the hormones and all was fine the rest of the 12 weeks.I am now almost 6 months and all is going well. They will be getting a visit from us after he is born so they can celebrate their little miracle along with us!We also froze the other three embryos. If we choose to have another, we will be going back to them as we could not trust any other clinic more.
Going to see a fertility specialist is not an easy thing to do. Fortunately, after a week of research and a referral from our great OBGYN doctor we decided to schedule a consultation with LA IVF. Upon 1st coming to the office for an initial consultation, my wife and I met Dr. Bayrak who was very accommodating, contemplative, and thoughtful. He answered all our questions and his thorough knowledge of fertility was enlightening and gave us the confidence we needed to enter this frightening new world. Facing fertility challenges is a very difficult thing to do and picking the right doctor who will really listen to your needs, understanding your concerns, and providing solutions is tantamount for success. Im ecstatic to report that after 5 months of treatment my wife is now wonderfully pregnant. If you are looking for an amazing doctor and a great supporting staff to be the shining light that leads your way, look no further than the team @ LA IVF!
Office manager is unwelcoming and standoffish. Dr. Bayrak is cold and doesnt have the best bedside manner. We didnt have a good experience with this facility. The medical assistants that help you through the process were helpful and calming, other than that, it was a horrible experience.
Dr. Bayrak is an excellent and very knowledgeable doctor and his staff are the most wonderful people that I ever know. We previously went to other infertility doctor but no help. Dr. Bayrak helped us start a family and we are very happy. Thank you Dr. Bayrak.
We just finished our second pregnancy with Dr. Bayrak and LA IVF. Love this clinic and their professionalism. We had success for each baby on the first try.
Extremely Unprofessional Fertility Clinic. Save your time and money and go to a different clinic. I had the worst experience with Dr. Bayrak and his office staff, particularly with the office manager, Stacey Harkins.
We had an amazing experience with Dr. Bayrak and his staff! We are now 12 weeks and have graduated to a regular OBGYN. Thank you Dr. Bayrak!
I am very happy to have received my treatment with Doctor Bayrak, he and his nurses treated me very well 👍 they clarified all my doubts. He did an embryo transfer and I am now 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I totally recommend it...My fear was not being able to understand why my language is Spanish, but he had a very kind nurse who was always translating what he had to tell me. . .
