I’ve been coming here for over 10 years for both primary care and women’s health. I really like it and almost always have a positive experience. As someone else mentioned, I agree that turnover is high but I like the doctors so I don’t mind too much. The wait time is usually pretty short and I love that they do telemedicine appointments when possible. The hours are great too - giving a lot of flexibility for scheduling!Truly hoping someone at the office reads this… My biggest annoyance is with their appointment confirmation process - the text link doesn’t work to confirm because you can’t tap the button and if you go to the portal (which they make you use), you can’t “sign” the form. From my last appointment, the gal in reception seemed to know it doesn’t work. PLEASE FIX THIS.
I was recommended this practice about 7-10 years ago and I became a regular patient for several years. I recently finally switched to a new practice and couldn’t be more happy to have done so. My only regret is not leaving RWWC sooner. Clinical staff turnover is high. I have met clinicians I really liked and then they left within months. I have almost never seen the same person twice. They heavily relied on telemedicine appointments long after the peak threat of Covid which meant that an annual wellness visit was you entering your own vital signs (if you had them) and a series of questions like do you wear a seatbelt when you drive and are you sleeping ok. When I had a telemedicine appointment, one Dr. (I will not out her by name) was clearly conducting the visit in her basement or living room while someone from her family was walking around/watching tv in the background, which was a clear violation of my privacy. Without any kind of exam, she was quick to prescribe a medication that I ended up having a devastating reaction to that derailed my life for several months, requiring additional care. They do not offer bloodwork in house and send you to a lab, making even in person annual wellness visits essentially useless. Front desk staff (not all but many) are rude. While I am vaccinated I was appalled that they outright refuse to treat unvaccinated patients. This is unethical and outright wrong. I do not know if they have since changed this policy but it really doesn’t matter because the fact that they thought this was justifiable for any length of time disgusts me as a medical provider myself. I work for Penn Medicine and we treat all patients equally, vaccinated or otherwise. I think the final straw for me was when I received a canned text message advertisement from the Dr’s office, recommending that I ask my Dr. about a weightloss injectable medication at my next appointment. Not all patients are overweight or appropriate to ask their Dr. about these meds. They offer aesthetic treatments such as injectables which is fine (I get Botox elsewhere) but they clearly prey on women’s insecurities by mass text-marketing weight loss drugs and adorning the office with ads for other out of pocket cost aesthetic treatments instead of focusing on good quality medical care. They should redirect their efforts to medicine and add in the extras when they get their act together. Avoid this practice. (2 stars instead of 1 because the OBGYN I last saw was very kind, efficient, and competent). Unfortunately, because of everything else mentioned, I have also taken my OBGYN care elsewhere based on principle alone.
I have had a recent string of health related events, including a neck injury which resulted in an ER visit, and RWWC has been exceptional in their care. I was contacted by RWWC within a day or so after my hospital visit, as a follow up wholly initiated on their behalf, to ensure my continuity of care following the ER. I have seen Dr. Mazotti four times in the last 3 months and she has been thorough, knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful in her approach and recommendations, and is truly caring. I have been met with ease in scheduling appointments, receiving of referrals and calling in of prescriptions.
VIOLATED HIPAA MULTIPLE TIMESWhoever I spoke to at this practice trying to confirm my appointment gave me multiple different patients names rather than my own. If you plan to go to this practice just be aware that your medical information will be told to absolute strangers over the phone
Love love love! I’ve been going here for like 10 years and I’m ALWAYS so happy and satisfied. they always help me perfectly and with genuine care. The doctors are sweet and kind and listen to everything I need to talk about. I love this doctor office: all drs they hire are great. Rage women rage!
I scheduled an appointment three months in advance since this is how long the wait is for the new patients. I called the office to confirm that they take UnitedHealthCare insurance and they said yes.Two days before the appointment they called me to confirm and everything was fine. Then I called the front desk to confirm the insurance again and they said they don’t take my plan and I’ll be responsible for the cost of the appointment. You can’t make people wait three months just to tell that you don’t accept insurance. Between this provider is listed on the insurance website as a network provider. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC.
Abysmal customer service. They have a portal for referrals which they never check. There is no way for the patient to check the status of any request or message as you cant access your own sent messages or referral requests. The front desk staff claims they cannot do referrals until the “referral specialist”comes in at noon. I was waiting at the doctors office and they flat out refused to help me and were extremely rude. There is a whole new staff every time I come which is telling. Save yourself some time and aggravation and go somewhere else. I have been going there for 5 years and I dread every interaction with the front desk staff so I am glad I finally have the push I need to find a new primary care doctor.
This practice is a disaster. Unless you want non-evidence-based medical guidance and unprofessional, threatening behavior by people who claim to be DOs, on top of trying to conceive or whatever medical issue you may be experiencing, do not go here. You have been warned.
I would give this place a 2nd chance, for something else besides filler. I would not recommend for injections. I had my lip filler done here, and from the first week I’ve had it done, I’ve had a “filler mustache”. The filler is not in my lips, it’s in the skin above my lips. And no, it’s not from migration, it has always been this way. I’ve had multiple people comment on it, which is uncomfortable for me. Really unfortunate, especially because of the price I paid :(
An absolute disgrace of a medical practice. I’ve never experienced such horrific bedside manner in my life, and I myself am a healthcare professional. Their website prides themselves on specializing in PCOS, and the doctor didn’t have one informative thing to say to me. I was shamed for choosing not to take birth control, and the answer to my struggles to lose weight was a referral to bariatric surgery. They should be ashamed at themselves for calling this a “women’s wellness center.” Absolutely do not waste your time and chose another doctors office.
Horrible bedside manner -I was to have an outpatient surgery done, and neither the OBGYN or the nurse talked to me about what they were doing. I had a panic attack, and the physician met me with hurried disrespect. They both moved very quickly and talked very loudly as if I was a barrier to the busy day.The PCP was better, but still made me feel disrespected. She argued that I should be on a different medication regimen, even though the one Ive medicines Ive been taking have worked well for the past 4 years.
Would not recommend for gynecology, primary care is good here. Came in for a birth control consultation and felt very talked down to and wasnt able to get any advice about my options. Expected an informative visit, but walked out feeling very confused and anxious. Someone else I know got her IUD insertion done here and also had a similar experience. The doctors and NPs are very qualified for the procedures, but do not make you feel comfortable in their care at all.
I was a patient here for nearly five years and recently switched my PCP and gynecologist elsewhere. I was repeatedly disappointed by RWWC.On multiple occasions I had serious diagnoses/results sent to my patient app before I was called or consulted by a doctor (and I never seemed to be able to see the same one). When I communicated this to the office, I was told thats just how the system works. Also— they do not prioritize patient experience, but rather speed and efficiency. I had to have an invasive procedure done and had a panic attack while in stirrups—I was told in that moment to decide whether I wanted to move forward with the procedure because other patients were waiting, rather than being met with care and consideration.I wont get started on their sales of Velashape and other services disguised as being health-related when in actuality they just trying to make money off womens insecurities (in what should be a strictly medical setting).More than once they insisted on weighing me after I politely declined—I have a 10+ year history of a restrictive eating disorder and am now in recovery. When I asked that my weight not be published anywhere visible to me, they agreed, and it then appeared on my patient portal the next day.Go elsewhere.
RWWC was recommended to me back in 2019 when I first moved to Philly and I’m so glad. The entire team is incredibly proactive and discovered a medical condition that other doctors had ignored. I ended up needing immediate surgery and wouldn’t have known but for the team at RWWC, so I am eternally grateful for their willingness to always err on the side of caution—order extra tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, etc. 10/10 recommend!
While I feel like I have fine service once I’m there, I don’t feel like I have any continuity of care. Anytime something urgent comes up I end up having to go to urgent care because they cannot get me in for several days. Who wants to wait 3 days to see a doctor for strep throat? Scheduling is never easy and they charge exorbitantly if you need to reschedule close to an appointment.
I was going to the same practice for my whole life so when I had to switch providers I was nervous. The treatment I received here was efficient, respectful, and very welcoming. Specifically want to thank Liz who did my intake for making me feel so comfortable!
The practitioner that I saw there was inaccurate in writing my prescriptions and slow to respond.I feel harassed even when I simply need a refill for a CHRONIC condition.Trying to get 1 medication (but a brand that my insurance covers) took DAYS.And when my provider FINALLY sent in the script, it was for the wrong route of administration.(Its analogous to asking for acetaminophen instead of Tylenol and tablets instead of liquid but my provider still had trouble fulfilling my request.)I left emails and voice messages but received no reply.I have had to call numerous times and finally speak with the program director to get a script for my medication.I will switch providers. The last thing someone needs when he/she feels unwell is to deal with nonsense.
I have been going to this place for years . Recently I have had two bad experiences here . One for a regular checkup and one for a gyno appt. VERY inconsiderate and condescending doctors and nurses unfortunately:(
Chenea Baker and Joanna Wishnoff ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST! I was terrified of some of the readings that my blood tests had found and even more scared of what this meant for my future. They BOTH helped me, supported me, educated me, encouraged me and helped me tackle the situation! Now I am recovered from this issue and I couldnt be more appreciative!! Joanna and Chenea ARE INCREDIBLE.The front of house, reception team - so friendly and helpful and fun, theyre great!I cant comment on anyone else except these 4 people and I cant rate them highly enough
Money centered practice. No thoughts give to patient experience.I had a very negative experience trying to establish care here. My Doctors were extremely rushed during my annual physicals and spent minimal time addressing my concerns. My GYN failed to do a full testing panel during my annual visit and when I requested to come back for this testing they instructed me to come into the office just to turnaround and tell me they don’t perform bloodwork! I was still charged excessively for this visit and wasted an hour of my time just to be sent away to labcorp. I certainly will be looking for a new doctor and recommend anyone else looking for a caring and patient-centered experience looks else where!
Ive been going to RWWC for over 10 years and cant imagine being a patient anywhere else. Dr. Mazzotti is the best. She has always made me feel safe and heard even during times that Ive been nervous to explain myself. Through hormonal imbalances, Lyme disease, pregnancy, postpartum issues, flu, COVID, etc, Ive always received quick, thorough, and comforting care through all of it. Ive also seen many of the Nurse Practitioners, and they have all been awesome too. Im surprised to see some of these reviews, and I dont mean to discredit anyones experience, but many of these comments seem angry at our healthcare system, which is not a fault of this office, but of our country.
Have been a patient since they opened years ago. Has gone downhill. Draconian late policy and just got canceled out of an appointment due to Septa delay and construction. I didnt even need a full MD appointment, just a quick script for PT. And the wait for a GYN appointment was three months and then the computer system didnt work for me to book the appointment. I give up on this practice.
DO NOT go to this practice. I don’t normally write reviews, but as a healthcare provider myself, the experiences I have had here are harmful to patients. You will be gaslight, they will mess up prescriptions and then tell you it is your fault. There are many other primary care providers in the area and I highly recommend skipping this location.update: since I left reviews, they denied filling my full prescription. They originally say they would give me a full month but the following morning after making it clear I would not return to this clinic in the long run and I made online yreviews, I got a message that I would only be given 7 days bc they were being cautious while also acknowledging that not taking this medication without tapering causes withdrawl
I have been going here for 3-4 years and the quality of service has really declined. The turnover of doctors is insane, I never see the same person when I go. Making an appointment seems irrelevant since I still had to wait 40 mins to be seen. They dont do lab work there anymore and you have to go to Labcorp for this, good luck getting your information sent correctly there, I had to call to have it faxed while being there and it took 3 calls for someone to pick up. I am over this place and will be looking for a new practice.
I’ve been to RWWC twice, one time for my annual visit and the second time for my IUD insertion. Both times I visited, I had to wait 15-20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. It wasn’t horrible but I wouldn’t come in with an expectation to be in and out. Like I said, the second time I visited was for my IUD insertion. I was a nervous wreck and Dr. Faust was incredibly kind and supportive. She walked me through the whole process and surprisingly I felt no pain. There were also two nurses there with her and even the rapport I had with them before my insertion eased a lot of my nerves. Scheduling for my follow up was also super easy and seamless.
Ive been seeing Dr. Maria Mazzotti for many years now. She is a caring, thorough physician who spends time with her patients. Ive also found the nurses to be warm and professional. The nurse spends time with the patient first, verifying meds and finding out the reason for the visit. The doctor (or NP if thats who one is scheduled with) is then briefed by the nurse and see the patient. That is pretty typical anywhere. Its a busy practice. In the past, I had had some negative experiences with front desk staff, but I gave feedback to the practice, felt heard and noticed positive changes. I dont understand when patients dont give feedback directly to the provider. The provider is invested in their business succeeding. I am the customer and therefore feel very comfortable giving feedback, both positive and negative. I also make a point of letting a business know when their employee does a great job! That can make the difference for an employee being retained in downsizing, or getting a raise or a bonus, and it feels good to be recognized for a job well done.I communicate with Dr. Mazzotti any time I need to via the portal. I can message her if one of my other docs have changed/added a med, so she is in the loop. Dr. Mazzotti is always super responsive and a really good human! In fact, there was a time when someone at RWWC thought it was a good idea to put a fragrance that misted in the bathrooms. I had to use the bathroom and really struggled due to the heavy misted perfume (I have asthma). During my visit, I told Dr. Mazzotti about it. Next time I was there, the offending spa-misty thing was gone.Overall, I have good experiences when I go to this very busy practice. Its really hard to find a PCP. PCPs have a terribly big and stressful job. Customers sometimes lose sight of any semblance of patience and courtesy. We all need to practice more of that.
Wouldnt recommend practice to anyone. Theyre all rude, unhelpful and act like theyre doing you a favor for providing the most basic help. The lady who answered the phone when I had questions about my appointment acted like I was bothering her by asking for additional information. She randomly kept putting me on hold and refused to actually help at all. In addition, they straight up violated HIPAA. I gave her my date of birth, and she asked if I was a completely different patient- she told me the other persons first and last name rather than attempting to find out my name. I feel so bad for this other person and anyone else in this practice as its clear that their information is not confidential because the medical assistants and office staff are too dumb to understand how HIPAA and confidentiality works.
I have been a patient at this practice for about 4-5 years now and am disappointed to say that the quality of medicine has significantly decreased over the last few years, especially after covid. There has been a sharp decline in the number of MDs employed there; most of my appointments are now with a nurse practitioner, and I have not been impressed with most of them, as they often seem uninformed and dismissive. One NP prescribed me a new BCP that does not effectively manage PCOS, despite the fact that I told her I wanted something that would help manage PCOS during the appointment. She told me to make an appointment with the doctor in a few months if it wasnt working out. I have been working to get back to normal on an appropriate pill for months now. It takes a very long time (1 month+) to get an in-person appointment with a doctor. Despite them having access to all my recent medical records, I have to remind them of my existing medical conditions every time I come in. Every appointment is also extremely rushed; the doctor spent 10-15 minutes with me for my annual GYN appointment, and was barely willing to talk about any of my concerns. I was actually told by the receptionist that anything extra other than preventive care topics would be charged for. They also have a new policy where they charge $75-$100 for missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours, and took my credit card information to have on file for this. If you want a practice where you feel known and cared for with a good quality of medicine, I would recommend going somewhere else.
Ive been at patient here for maybe 3-4 years and never had a bad experience. The doctors and nurses always go out of their way to make me feel very comfortable. Ive also never had any issues getting same day sick or telehealth appointments, even during the pandemic. I can send messages through the app directly to my provider and they often call me back promptly. Highly recommend this practice!
Update: Someone from there called me the next day morning, figured out what went wrong, the prescription was not transferred to my pharmacy initially. And I should be able to get refill by a simple refill request if needed, instead of paying again for an appointment and get another same prescription (which was told to me the day before when I was asking why I never get my prescription...and how can I get my med which I was supposed to have...). Gladly, they fixed it and helped out, really appreciate the prompt reach-out. Bumping the review up, cuz I think everyone make mistake, but they choose to own it and fix it. Still a downside on not doing blood work for annual exam, Ill switch my primary care mainly for that reason. I did really enjoyed my experience there in the past.--------------------------------------I went there for about 5 plus years so far as my primary care, was good at the beginning, but Im gonna switch due to recent experience. 1. They stop doing blood work this year, which I dont think it make any sense to be a primary care clinic anymore. 2. For some reason I never get my prescription sent out from my visit, and they couldnt even see a record to indicate what went wrong.
My physician approaches her work with intelligence ,compassion, and humor, and is both professional and humane. The office staff have always been friendly and helpful, and seem to like working at the practice. The atmosphere is always quiet and calm whether there are few patients or many. I have never had long waits at the Pine Street office--a remarkable accomplishment. Communication is generally good. The patient portal improvements have been helpful, but I would suggest adding the ability to make appointments in the future. I recommend this practice without reservation.
I have been using Rittenhouse Womens Wellness for 10+ years and have been very happy with the level of service and attention I have received.
I have been a patient here for two years. The primarily female staff make me feel at ease speaking openly about my health as a young twenty year old. My only critique is scheduling follow ups is not done in the office at the end of your visit, you have to call a phone number which means - you have to remember to call. Overall, I’m pleased with my care and plan to be a long time patient.
I went to this office as a first time patient for an annual gyn exam and had a really disappointing experience. The doctor was really rushed and spent a total of 10 minutes with me. During my visit, it was discovered that my IUD was misplaced. The doctor left to write me a scrip for an ultrasound, came back 5 minutes later and handed it to me, and then left me in the room. I waited 2-3 minutes before realizing the appointment was even over. I was never asked if I had any questions and she literally ran out before I realized what was happening, so I left without having any of my concerns addressed.I then did a telehealth appointment with the same doctor, which was required for a new IUD. I had a few concerns about a new iud that the doctor quickly dismissed, very condescendingly. The appointment lasted less than 10 minutes and she couldnt have cared less about being there. When I went back for my IUD removal, I was asked to do a pregnancy test. When I asked for some water since I had just used the bathroom, the receptionist told me they didnt have any. After my IUD removal, I felt dizzy and the nurse gave me a small water bottle that they had on hand in the room, so clearly the receptionist just didnt feel like getting me water. Overall the appointments were terrible and I would not recommend going to this practice. Ive since switched to a provider at Penn and the contrast is stark. Go elsewhere.
I have been going to RHWW since 2016 and dread each and every call/visit. The turnover in this office is ridiculous and the customer service is appalling. I go so infrequently that I forget how terrible it is and then miss my window to change practices, but not this time! Most recently I waited on hold for a Telehealth visit for 30+mins and when I called the office to se what was going on I was told that I never showed and would be charged. When I pushed back I was told I was clearly lying. Funny enough the Telehealth visit prior (same NP) didnt realize her camera and mic were on for 5 mins while I waited for her to join, that was interesting. A past Dr wouldnt order testing for me and said my issues were quality of life and non medical, when I demanded testing it turned out I had severe food allergies and now carry an epipen. Another time a nurse pressed me on why I wasnt having children and when I said I cant (this was a fresh wound for me at the time) she said thats not true people have miracle babies all the time, your miracle will come. When I explained why that was impossible she offered to carry my child...Im still flabbergasted by this interaction. The few providers I like are Dr. Mazzotti and Dr. Gayllyn Faust-Rakos. Changing Drs is difficult but I got on a 6 month waitlist and paid out of pocket to establish a new PCP and finally feel relief, and validated...dont accept suboptimal care, you owe it to yourself to find better!
Everyone Ive seen - from the time I walk through the door until I leave - is always professional, courteous, and efficient. I never have long wait times at any step. All of my checkups, exams, etc. have been professionally performed - my GP/gyn is knowledgeable, knows my history, and takes time to listen to my concerns and explain things I need to know. Im very happy with all my care at this practice.
Edit: Thanks for the response. However, this could have easily been explained before deleting me from the portal.I currently work with a DCP in the city but still have insurance and list RWWC as my PCP. My insurance requires referrals which I needed for bloodwork. I asked a Dr. Mazzotti at RWWC if she would give me a referral and explained Im working with a DCP in the patient portal. Instead of giving me a simple yes or no answer, they deleted my account. I cant confirm who deleted the account but it was disappointing and frustrating. Its very telling of how they run their practice.
I’ve been a patient at RWWC for over 3 years now and I’m always shocked by some of the reviews. I have never had poor service or treatment. Recently I needed a same day appointment and had the pleasure of meeting NP Rayna Tarlow who was amazing. She answered all my questions and even remembered to email me some follow up information. Thank you Rayna and team for always taking such good care of me..
Ive been going to this practice for five years, and seen it gone down hill. Rushed through specialist, gyno appointments and spoken down to. Appointments are so rushed that patient doesnt have time to think or ask questions, and when attempting to follow up via the portal, told to make another appointment.
Found this practice to be terrible. Rather than practice evidence based medicine they spend much of their time marketing and pushing cosmetic procedures on you (nothing against cosmetic procedures, but they invest far more time in these revenue drivers than managing your care). They also advocate for bogus services like the “O Shot” that have been harmful to women, are not FDA approved, and are essentially just a quick way to make a buck (would encourage looking up Dr Jen Gunter’s article on this). I was a patient here for several years and while I can’t publicly share all the negative and harmful interactions both I and my friend had, I will happily never return. This practice doesn’t care about women, just their pocketbooks.
So many disappointing things to note about my experience with this practice. Every appointment was rushed. Most egregious: the negligence following up on my health concerns, the expectation to continually follow up with them, navigating their poor communications systems, and paying for additional appointments just to ask simple questions after they offer to let them know if you have any additional questions or concerns. The patient portal is a nightmare, communications to my practitioner were responded to by someone else completely who had no context, simple paperwork for a health form was returned to me incomplete and unsigned. My calls, messages, and emails to get said form signed were not passed along to my practitioner. Only months later, after getting an appointment, was I able to get the form signed. Its incredibly difficult to navigate their practice and requires you to follow up and follow up and advocate for yourself and then deal with unacceptable or really out of touch excuses. Without expert knowledge of the minutia of your health insurance you will certainly be disappointed. If they offer at the end of a visit summary or lab results overview, Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, be sure to know that means to schedule an additional appointment and pay an additional copay (be sure to have your credit card ready, theyll ask for it when making the appointment), not something like call me and we can talk briefly, or reply to this email and Ill get back to you. This practice seems to be more interested in high volume, low-quality care and advertising their medical spa treatments & for-pay services than patient care and wellness.
I never have to wait, I always have a great experience with my doctors and nurse practitioners and I get superb care. When I saw a specialist and got the runaround I was able to get my problems resolved here. Its been a real life saver. Im so happy my primary doctor is here.
I had a very disappointing experience at RWWC. Booking an initial appointment was a nightmare (I asked for a consultation with the gyno for an implant removal and replacement) and was booked with a NP for an annual physical. I was told I would need to book another consultation with the gyno and then contact my insurance before they would proceed with my removal and insertion. The front desk was unhelpful and condescending. Better to go to Planned Parenthood
I have been going to Rittenhouse Womens Wellness for almost 10 years and always receive exemplary service. All of the staff are professional and easy to communicate with. The patient portal is a great way to check your visit summaries and you can communicate with staff through it. I always receive timely answers to my questions. I have recommended this place to several friends and colleagues and some of them have become regular patients. I am happy that I found this practice.
I made an appointment for a specific issue, though we were a new patient: the people I spoke to gave conflicting information and no sense that they had medical records which were sent to them. I understand the need for a baseline but there was no sense after the appointment that we can even get the issue addressed- despite multiple conversations up front specifically to confirm the purpose. Care was sterile, lazy and lackadaisical- definitely cannot recommend this group. Waste of time, waste of insurance- in the business to do whatever cosmetic machine they seem to run.
Dont do too many google reviews but the negative ones shocked me so much I felt like I had to!RWWC is possibly the most seamless PCP I have ever been to. I called for an appointment, was scheduled, filled in some intake documents and emailed it back to them. Day of my appointment I barely waited two minutes and saw Joanna who is a nurse practioner. (Also if you dont know the diff between a Doctor and an NP, there really isnt any. They are just as qualified.) She administered a flu shot, tetanus booster and even pointed out my insurance would cover blood work that visit. I had no copay (keystone health plan east) and even got a comprehensive overview of my records on their portal. I have access to everything that was done that day, my blood work, and even the reccomendations for other providers (derm/gyno/vision/etc) on the portal. Super user friendly and so convenient. I love being able to see all my lab work and have the explanation there for me to digest on my own time and whenever I want I have access to it.It has been a few weeks and I recently injured my back. They were able to get me a referral for my chiropractor to use my insurance within 2 hours of my request. The phone staff are so so helpful and everyone is so kind. I would reccomend this office to any of my friends or family.
Ive been in this practice twice during the last year, and as non native english speakers, I appreciated the Front desk Staff effort to give me guidance through the US health system in detail. Both times the Nurses that checked me in made me feel comfortable and provided me promptly with answers to all my questions. The NPs who visited me were friendly and took the time to share their knowledge with me. They were also very responsive in following up my case and questions via emails. So far a good experience!
Worst doctors office in Philadelphia!! The staff is totally incompetent.I have been a patient at RWHC for almost ten years. The quality of care has dramatically declined. Sure, you’ll be brought to a room quick, but the doctors will rush your appointment and judge you the whole time. There is a total lack of communication among staff and providers. If you call to follow up on something, be prepared to repeat the entire story because apparently notes rarely make the system. Save yourself the headache and find a doctor who is competent and actually cares! My sister is a Temple student and tested positive for mumps this spring. I live with her, so my doctor told me to come in ASAP for blood tests. I came in right away and had blood drawn. I had a baby shower that weekend and needed to be cleared beforehand. I called Friday for my results and was told that my blood was NEVER tested for the mumps!! I had to go back in to have my blood retested and missed the baby shower - along with an entire WEEK of work due to their “mistake.”You would think the office would be mortified that they drew blood for something so serious and failed to order the appropriate tests, but the staff could not have cared less. The whole situation was appalling and I decided to NEVER go back again. I should have written this review then, but I tried to be understanding. THEN.....My sister stayed with the practice. She had a foot injury and had to get X-rays. Nobody ever called her with the results. Several days later, my sister called to find out for herself and was told a nurse would call her back - which, of course, never happened. She called AGAIN and was told that results were “fine” according to the receptionist. She asked for a referral to a specialist because the pain persisted. She was told a doctor would call back - still waiting days later!Stay away!!!
I have been going to RWWC for about four years now. They are courteous, professional and responsive to my needs. All of the practitioners are warm and compassionate. They always take whatever time is needed and answer questions. The women at the front desk are courteous and patient. I highly recommend this practice.
I have been a patience for several years now. Its always so easy to get an appointment especially when you are sick. Great friendly staff and doctors who care and listen to you. They offer tons of benefits and services and the patient portal is extremely helpful. You can reach out to a doctor or nurse and their response time is great! Im so happy I choose RWWC for my primary healthcare.
Its taken me a while to write this review, because I simply wanted to move on. However, I think its a necessary step to voice my concerns and hopefully prevent others from having same experiences. There are 3 specific incidents I experienced in this practice which I am detailing below.1. In 2018, I switched jobs and needed a medical form completed by my primary doctor. I left the forms with my doctor, who agreed to complete them and inform me when I could pick them up. I waited a significant amount of time, and never received a call. I call them, and it turns out they had lost my COMPLETED forms. The doctor had dropped them off to the front desk, and they had no idea what happened to my forms completed with my health information and other personal info such as my address and SSN. Was it shredded? Was it given to another patient by mistake? No idea. I had to bring another blank packet for them to complete. I was young and naive, and I continued to come here.2. Sometime between 2016-2018, I came to the office due to having an allergic reaction to a bug bite. The bug bite was on my face, which was incredibly swollen. My eyes were nearly shut from the swelling, my cheeks were swollen, my entire face. I waited over 1 hour to be seen, even though I had an appointment. After 1 hr or more, a pharmaceutical rep leaves the office and a few minutes later I am called in. I was made to wait for 1 hour, with a completely swollen face due to an allergic reaction, simply because the doctor was meeting with a pharmaceutical rep.3. Lastly, but possibly the worst or most consequential of all is that in March/April of 2019 I began my maternity care at this practice. On April 30, 2019 I came in for an ultrasound, and they convinced me and my husband to get genetic testing through a company they were working with called Progenity. Among other things they said that day, it was that if we could not afford the testing, Progenity would just take what we could pay. I wasnt worried about pay because I had and still do have great health insurance. They drew my blood right in the office, and sent the bloodwork to an OUT OF NETWORK LAB (I had no knowledge of this at the time). Still in 2021, I am on phone calls with my insurance, Progenity, and now a COLLECTIONS agency trying to sort out what happened. Ive received bills for nearly $20,000, and now will have to pay $1,399.00 for a service that was covered under my insurance. The ONLY reason why this is still an issue is because Rittenhouse Womens Wellness Center sent my labs to an out of network laboratory. A decision I had no say in.Also, they shut down their OBGYN department ini July 2019, when they could have warned me in April so I could have had the option/choice of not even starting my care there. Instead they didnt tell me, and I actually found out when I was told I couldnt schedule my next appointment due to the department closing. No letters, no discussion with my doctor, nothing. Also, there was no support offered to me to find a new practice to care for my pregnancy.I thought I would be receiving great care at a clinic advertising great care by women doctors and staff, for women. What I received instead was insensitive care each and every time. There were 1-2 nurses who were amazing, intuitive, and caring, but that was the extent of it.
I have struggled with accountability and responsiveness from this practice for years. I went to RWWC hoping to find a place I felt taken care of as a women seeking medical services in a big city, but it came up short time and time again. Most recently I was told the physicians have too many patients to follow up with a patient on fairly urgent imaging they ordered. Seems concerning that there is no accountability for patient care.
TERRIBLE, LAZY nurse!!! I think her name was Joanna. I went in for a same-day sick appointment and had the flu. My throat was swolen and I was having difficulty speaking from the pain. I told my nurse this while she did my examination. She asked me what my symptoms were. In a very pained, raspy, and out-of-breath voice I said I have it written down in advance. I was hoping she could just read my list, but she then said dont tell me everything, just most of it. Id been in agony the last couple of days and there was no way I was getting misdiagnosed by leaving out symptoms. So I told her everything and it hurt like HELL. At least the receptionist had the decency to tell me dont try to speak if you can, just say yes or no.
Its been literal YEARS since Ive felt compelled to leave a Yelp review but since I just did it, I figured I might as well share here, too:I used to love the practitioners at RWWC. They listened thoughtfully to my concerns and even followed up if they thought of additional advice or input after my appointment. Even when my PCP left the practice, I kept going because the rest of the doctors and nurses and PAs there were so great. I dont know whats changed recently--whether its a result of the pandemic or something else--but Im at the end of my rope with them. At my last physical, I asked for a referral to a specialist and the doctor said she would follow up with me. Instead of getting in touch directly she just made a note on my chart, as if I was supposed to know to look there. Most recently, I lost a prescription medication, probably while I was on vacation. Because its a controlled substance there are hoops to jump through for an early refill. I called both the pharmacy and my insurance provider to make sure I fully understood what needed to happen in order to get the medication I need to operate as a functional human being, and left very explicit instructions with RWWC and yet here I am, ten days later, rationing my drugs while I wait for them to fax a letter to my insurance company telling them Im not abusing my medication, which should take all of five minutes. Today, after close of business (so I couldnt call the office and speak to anyone) I was sent something vaguely resembling the letter I needed, with the implication that I could now send it to the insurance company even though they had been very clear with me, and I had been very clear with RWWC, that the insurance company needed to hear directly from the doctors office.I have spent HOURS trying to resolve this issue and I know its been a hard year and a half in healthcare but these people dont operate out of a busy hospital--its a small practice that shouldnt be actively making its patients lives more difficult.
I have been a patient at RWWC for about 7 years. Dr. Mazzotti is my PCP and she is wonderful--thorough and caring. I saw Dr. Faust for GYN care for the first time this week and I have a feeling she will be my GYN for many years to come. The office staff is also excellent! I highly recommend the practice for whatever medical needs women may have.
I highly recommend the Rittenhouse Womens Wellness Center. The doctors are phenomenal and they always take you for your appointment on time. I have also never had a problem getting a same day sick visit when needed. They are incredibly responsive and make you feel safe and comfortable. I wouldnt go anywhere else!
Front desk and physician are good ... calls returned, caring atmosphere. Efficient and friendly. Assistants are sometimes given too much leeway. Certain screenings should be done w/ privacy of patient taken into account and not simply the 3rd party reimbursement to the practice. Defeats the real purpose.Charming building and comfortablesetting in an interesting part of town.I would give 5 stars at this time for perserverance during the pandemic. The doctors do their best to give their best. And they aretired. We hear it in their voices. We feel it. Its stressful for us too.Hire additional physicians. And you need to hire African American physicians. Its time. Do better.Give the current doctors and all staff a bit of breathing space, maybe a spa day.Maybe Bonus Pay.Theyve earned it. Win, Win.Recent interactions have caused me to reduce the rating. At times physician seemed disconnected and accusatory. Disappointing.
A few visits at this practice is very clear that Im not the target patient demographic. After a few health issues I reached out and updated my doctor and I really never heard back from them. I had a problem with getting to my appointment and all I got was a $50 fee and no humanity about the situation.
Used to love this practice for both PCP and GYN, but over the past ~3 years I have been consistently disappointed by their lack of care and communication. The office has become a revolving door of practitioners and just another business that wants you/your insurances money. There are still some OGs in the back office I find very helpful, but aside from that Ive lost all hope in the practice and will be finding new doctors. Would highly recommend anyone looking to look else where until RWWC can get it together.
Good customer service is not just saying Im sorry with a sweet voice. I was running late for an appointment and called the office to let them know. They have a 7 minute grace period (really?) and I got there 10 minutes late. The person on the phone didnt remind me of the policy but suggested I reschedule. I get to the empty office and am told I have to reschedule (Did I say empty? I meant one person in the waiting area.) I make the point that I would have been sitting in the office longer than 10 minutes to be seen.My take aways-- get to your appointments on time and dont go to a doctor whose front office staff dont have the good sense to keep the patient/customer happy(especially over 3 mins.)
I used to love this practice. I had an amazing doctor, I loved the boutique-feel, and the location. However, the practice has lost almost ALL of their doctors. This is concerning from a patient perspective. I dont want to see a nurse practitioner, and the 2 doctors they have on staff are not accepting new patients.I understand that maybe Im not a medically complex patient, but Im concerned about how RWWC treats their doctors, their overall quality ratings, and the time they misplaced my bloodwork doesnt help my opinion regarding them either. Why are they losing doctors? Not to mention, when my doctor left the practice I didnt even get a notification that she left!!!!! This is appalling since I also wasnt reassigned to a regular PCP! I had to get my annual physical and gyn appt. by a nurse practitioner this year, and no offense, but I want a doctor in the room...Id love to support small private practices, but Im ready to switch to Penn. It just feels like the practice is going downhill. And Im frustrated that they dont have enough PCPs.
My sister and I just moved to Philly and needed new primary care. Despite the reviews, we went out on a limb and tried rwwc out.I am very pleased to report that the old and negative reviews are very misleading due to the fact that most of these reviews are referring to old providers and old staff. We both met with new practitioners, one gyno, and one primary care physician. (Dr. Faust (gyno), Dr. Mazzotti (pcp))I have been struggling to find a gyno that Ive felt comfortable with for years. As I was walking into Dr. Faust office it was instantly a feeling of comfort and security. she is very opened to discussion which is very important to me. Ive had many experiences where I would try to voice my concerns and just get cut off or my concern would just get pushed to the side. We spent the majority of the time just talking and she was always engaged in what I had to say. she also informed me that the medication my last gyno put me on made me high risk for stroke. If it wasnt for dr. Faust I dont know where I would be right now. Overall, Dr. Faust is trusting, caring, and very educated. My experience with Dr. Mazzotti passed my expectations. I have had many other doctors in the past attempt to help me with an ongoing problem I have always struggled with. I have struggled with having uncontrolled muscular ticks for as long as I can remember and for me personally it hinders my everyday life. Now that I am 21 and found a doctor who didnt give up I am finally unfazed by my condition and live without struggle. She was the only doctor out of five/six others that acknowledged my struggle and helped me in more ways than I knew were possible. She gave me meds that actually worked and referred me to a great neurologist. She even offered to call them for me! Overall, Dr. Mazzotti is very educated, experienced, and caring.
Dont waste your time or insurance going to this practice. Was a new patient and would never go back. Went for my annual exam, not only did they not give me a full exam they also rushed thru my appointment. They also made me feel so uncomfortable bringing some of my health concerns up without any answers or direction
I had a pleasant experience at RWWC! Everyone was lovely. I didn’t catch the name of the doc I saw and I would like her name. I had an appointment at 10am March 3. She was easy to talk with and covered a lot of things I might have questioned if she had not asked the questions she did.
I have had numerous negative experiences with this place and I do not recommend going here:Last summer, I had a fever of 103.9. I tried to get an appointment but I was told that they had nothing available for me for the next month UNLESS I was a member. Members pay extra money for preferential treatment, this includes being able to obtain appointments easier than those who are not members, irregardless of the urgency.A couple of months later, I was having heart palpitations after taking prilosec for a week. Again, i tried to make an appointment, but their EKG machine was broken. That seems like a fairly important piece of equipment....I missed an appointment and was charged a 50 dollar fee. You have to cancel within 24 HOURS in order to avoid the 50 dollar bill. This is a little harsh and impractical.I tried to set up a pap smear. I had one lined up before with this place a few months before, but I had to cancel . As I was on the phone making the appointment, I got disconnected. I called and tried again, but I got a different receptionist and she would not give me the appointment, telling me that I had already had one done for the year. This was the one that I had canceled previously. I went somewhere else and got it done instead of dealing with another headache from them. I am pretty sure it was the same receptionist that wouldnt schedule me to get my IUD changed because she thought I was trying to schedule it 6 months in advance, when I simply told her that I needed to have it done WITHIN the next 6 months. Talking to her was like talking to a brick wall though so I gave up.This place is classist and incompetent. As stated in a previous review, DO NOT GO HERE.
Everytime I call for a follow up or to speak with my doctor, there is an issue. They take anywhere from 2-4 days for a return call. For example, I was told if I dont get a call back, that I need to call back again and explain everything all over again to whoever answers the phone. WHAT? That is not professional. I like my doctor, but the administrative staff asks for so many details to get an appointment or leave a message and then all the information falls through the cracks. This has happened 4 times to me. Once I was even turned away when I was having chest pains. Another time I was there and heard the doctor (not my primary) say to the nurse in the hallway... If Im not out in 10 minutes, come get me. I wasnt even supposed to still be here. Ive stuck around because, again, I like my doctor but I think its time I find another practice. Interactions with this office causes more and more aggravation.
Ive been a patient of the Rittenhouse Womens Wellness Center since around 2006. Dr. Leslie Saltzman was my first doctor at RWWC and her care and genuine concern for my health inspired me to embark upon a 100+lb weight loss journey. Had Dr. Saltzman not discussed my health with me in an honest yet compassionate way, I wouldve never lost 100+lbs, become a certified spinning instructor, and still be 100 lbs lighter today. She was the only doctor who didn’t make me feel shame over my weight gain, and this made all the difference. Now, at nearly 44 years old, 150 lbs, and still exercising regularly after a successful weight loss achieved a decade ago, Im still a RWWC patient to this day. Dr.s Mazzotti and Faust-Rakos are equally as amazing, responsive, invested, and caring in their patients health. The RWWC staff communicates with their patients in a style that shows the utmost sensitivity, holistic medical expertise, and authentic care. I highly recommend their services and this center to all women.
Very difficult facility to work with and have provided subpar care. I have never seen a doctor, had a very inexperienced NP (googled difference btw cat scan and MRI while talking to me), and never call back with results until I call first usually a week after results are in. They also force you to make appointments if you miss a phone call, and are required to use their portal, even though claim you can opt out of it, and wont send information in other ways. Phone calls go to operators not aware of what is actually going on and have to continuously chase answers. There are a few good people here and it is unfortunate they work in such an incompetent environment.
I was a patient for nearly a year at RWWC until I moved outside of the Philadelphia area. I would recommend this practice to anyone! The physicians, nurses, and assistants are very caring and sensitive to your needs no matter how big or small. You can always feel comfortable confiding in any woman who works there. They are the best and very knowledgeable. I wish they had a place like RWWC where I live now.
Dr Mazzotti is a fantastic family physician. Extremely knowledgeable and a great bedside manner. This practice works hard to give you same day appointments and truly understand patient needs. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Been a patient for 7 years and have had the best possible experience with every single person Ive encountered at RWWC (nurses, doctors, front desk, etc.)! They are warm, caring, intelligent and professional. I will be sad to part ways when I move out of Philadelphia but feel confident knowing I can come see them for any issues when Im in the area.
I had a really great experience at Rittenhouse Womens Wellness Center. My doctor (Dr. Faust-Rakos) and the nurse were patient, gentle, and respectful. The office is clean and calming.
I’m dissatisfied with the service I had today. The doctor I met with was professional. Unfortunately the front desk and the staff were not as graceful. I arrived for my appointment early. They ask all patients to come in 10mims early to check in. I in fact got there a little over 20mins earlier,by mistake. Either way, I was checked in way before my expected check in time and my appointment still ran 18 mins late! Therefore, I was in the waiting area for about 40 mins. No one at the front desk apologized for the delay and or mentioned that the appointment before mine was running longer than expected. They just ignored me and avoided making eye contact. In fact one front desk clerk walked away to possibly avoid my questioning. The lab technician didn’t introduce herself, or greet me in a respectful manner. I guess it might have been because I wasn’t carrying a Chanel bag or coming in for Botox appointment. My annual exam meant nothing to them, so in return I opted to save my questioning and turn to the public to share my experience. I am truly disappointed in the staff and probably will not return again. It’s unfortunate because I used to hold this facility in high regards. Don’t waste your time, because clearly they didn’t care about mine.
I am utterly disappointed. Please steer clear. After being pressured to take an unnecessary lab test in April, I am just now receiving a (very large) bill for it in July. When I called their billing office to express my concern, I was told RWWC was not responsible because the bill is from LabCorp, the company that determines the results of their tests. I was never informed by my doctor of the cost, and was convinced I needed to “cover all the bases,” though the test was clearly not related to my specific health concern. I have never gone out of my way to write a bad review, but this company and its practitioners take no responsibility for their lack of professionalism.
Im truly not entirely sure why there are so many negative reviews on this office. Ive never had a bad experience at RWWC! The doctors are always so kind & explain everything in detail for me. As a really anxious person, I never feel uncomfortable here. I look forward to my visits!
I had a really awful experience with Dr. Mazzotti. My visit was extremely personal & I felt as though she was not as informative as she should have been while imposing her own personal views on me. The only reason why Im not giving it one star is because I had a great experience with their nurse practitioner, Eterial Burrell. Unfortunately, she has since left the practice. I wont be back & will be transferring all of my documents to another doctors office. Also, more accurate reviews of this business are posted on Yelp if you want to understand the full scope of this business.
Always feel like I am in good hands at RWWC - from the front desk staff to the nurses and doctors. Everyone is professional, courteous, and brings an awareness of womens issues to each visit. Have been going here for years and, while there are staff changes every now and then as peoples lives change, the professionalism stays the same.
Dr Kate OBrien is kind, caring and knowledgeable. I left Penn system was sick and tired of receiving a referral every time I went to a specialist, even when issue was minor. The whole staff at Rittenhouse House womens are fabulous.
Dr. Shanis is everything youd want your doctor to be. She is knowledgeable, kind and always makes sure that I understand what she is talking about. She has always made me feel heard, like she understands my concerns and recommends a course of action that I feel comfortable with. The office staff has been great as well. Definitely recommended.
Bianca at front desk was absolutely amazing! So patience and helpful!Jonae was extremely kind and she made my visit so comfortable!Lastly Dr.Tarlow was the best! All these wonderful ladies made my visit the best one I’ve ever had and so grateful for all them!
This is by far the best care Ive ever received by a primary care physician. I highly reccommend Dr. Monica Duvall. She is thorough, thoughtful and clearly cares for her patients. The office staff are very timely and I have never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment to start.
I have been coming to this practice for a year, for both primary care and OBGYN. All of the providers are exceptional, the wait is usually short, and I love how the practice feels homey and inviting.
NEGLIGENT & DISMISSIVE DOCTORS. I have seen various gyn’s at this practice over the past 5 years and none have taken my symptoms seriously. I’ve struggled with debilitating pain & have sought out the help of RWWC only to be met with dismissive & rushed doctors. I repeatedly asked for testing/exams to get to the root of the problem, which were never provided. Instead birth control was heavily pushed on me.I have since moved to UPenn’s ob/gyn practice where I received tons of information & the testing I requested. I have since been diagnosed with 3 different disorders, all which could have been identified earlier had the doctors at RWWC been attentive.
They were great on the medical side. I dont have insurance, so I paid cash for everything. I had them take two samples to have checked. I was under the impression that when I paid at the front desk that the cost of the samples was included in the bill. Nobody told me otherwise. Two months later I got two bills from the lab, one for $167.20 and one for $76. That is a lot of money for me especially since I thought it was already taken care of. Maybe Im just uninformed about how things work, but I would be sure to ask extra questions about what you are or arent paying for if you pay cash there.
I’ve been a patient of this practice for 7 years. I have consistently been pleased with the office, the doctors, their availability and the patient portal. I always recommend RWW to all my friends in the area and I am a patient of this practice due to another friends referral.
Ive been visiting RWWC for over a year now and have been really happy with the treatment and the positive environment in the office. I also appreciate the flexibility of the office and the availability of appointments. The front desk staff has always been courteous and professional towards me. Overall, I highly recommend the practice.
My visit was generally pretty mediocre, but not necessarily negative so they get two stars. What really got to me about this place was their inability to handle my insurance claims and communicate my insurance info with the lab they sent my tests to. Took me weeks to resolve this and the clinics financial person was less than helpful. Would never recommend this place.
In todays world I would hope that doctors would offer some type of financial aid or assistance to people that are not able to afford high copays, etc. Healthcare is not just about money it’s able the health, the patient, and providing quality care that the patient can afford. As health professionals when we stray from they mindset then what is the purpose. - I am writing this review because it is important for health professionals to know how important affordable care is…
Very sad to leave this practice recently after being a patient for 10 years. The quality of care & administration has just deteriorated too much to stay. Rude, unhelpful receptionist, uneven quality between doctors, lack of attention to detail & often an odd, judgy attitude. Completely the opposite of how this practice used to be.
I had scheduled a new patient visit for early April for a general physical. Shortly after, I had debilitating back pain and they were able to see me sooner than the specialist the ER referred me to. I saw Dr. Mazzotti who took a detailed history from me (herself) answered questions, made suggestions and took the time to make sure we covered all my concerns. A few days later, I was still in pain and returned to meet with Dr. Bullock, again, I felt like I had her full attention, she offered additional options, and because of RWW, my herniated disk, which had been missed in two ER visits, was diagnosed. Dr Bullock personally called me following my MRI to answer questions, check on my pain level and offer additional support. As a mom, I am the one who takes care of everyone; at RWW I felt so well taken care of. I cant say enough about the philosophy of care of this practice or the dedication or compassion of the staff - from the front desk, to the nurses to the doctors. Im thrilled to be a patient at their Main Line location and plan on being there for years to come.
Absolutely the worst medical experience Ive had. I met with Dr. Duvall regarding a complex medical issue with the hopes I would receive some insight as to what the cause may be. Not only did Dr. Duvall rush through the appointment, but she had no intelligent thoughts/direction/anything as to what may be going on. I had to prompt all questions and she simply had not one semi-decent response. I even asked her if it could be hormonally relates and her response was what does hormonal imbalance really mean? with a look of emptiness on her face.Additionally, she never took any blood work (which they can do on site) nor did she ask to see me again. Ive since been to another internist who was insightful and offered some intelligent direction and it reconfirmed how horrible the medical care, or lack there of, was at Rittenhouse Womens Wellness Center with Dr. Duvall.
I discovered this place 2 years ago after getting so annoyed that all doctor office hours are 9-5 M-F ... like as if most people dont work those exact hours. So I Googled doctor weekend hours and this beautiful place came up.1. Totes thought this fancy wellness clinic would cost me a crazy co-pay or something. Nope..in fact for your annual gyno, its FREE (thanks obamacare!). I came in for a internal medicine problem visit and it was free too! Woot! Fancy wellness clinic experience without the extra $? HYFR.2. The docs/NPs (holla @ Eterial) are really nice, take the necessary time to answer your questions.3. Online portal to see lab results/prescriptions, etc really convenient. It says you can request appointments which would be DOPE.. but it never works. Just gotta bite the bullet and stay on hold for 10-20min to make an appt. via phone.4. The weekend/evening hours are in high demand, and you prob gotta wait a few weeks. Regular appointment avail within week.
I wont say the dr name on 9/14/16 I went to this location bc I noticed some changes with my body (symptoms of bv) for a gyn appointment. I meet with the dr in which, she informed me she couldnt diagnosis me bc that site doesnt have a micorsope. Therefore labs were sent out. I was prescribe medication for bv, after I asked her *in a nasty tone* if she was gonna she gonna continue to allow me I walk around with these symptoms (this was after she informed me to get dress) I am currently still waiting for results. The medication she prescribed did not work and tomorrow will make a week Im still walking around with the same symptoms. And I still have heard from this dr. This professionals at this place are inexperience and unprofessional. I would no recommend anyone to go here. its horrible this morning I also sent an email informing this place and the dr how unsatisfied I am with their services and I will not be returning as a patient.
HORRIBLE.this place is such a joke. Can I give it zero stars? I have chronic pain secondary to endometriosis and I was constantly told theres nothing wrong with you. Some girls are just unlucky-take Motrin and youll be fine. I wasnt even examined to try to find out what was going on!!!!Ha!!!!! After years of being ignored I finally went to an ob/gyn that ordered an U/S and found a 3 cm fibroid. Im also now scheduled for laproscopic surgery for my endometriosis.DO NOT GO HERE!
I really loved the care and attention at the RWWC. The nurse practitioner was very thorough and attentive to my questions and follow up. I really liked the multi-services available at one site.
24 hour policy for cancellations, $50.00 fee. I call at 10:35 for a 9:00 am apt the next day and am scolded. OK, I get it, but I called the day before. I am also told if you are 7 minutes late you will be rescheduled. This annoys me so much, because no Dr. sees you on time. I would like to send them a bill if they are late or cancel. My time is just as important as theirs is.
Rittenhouse Women’s Wellness is so pleasant and welcoming. Their staff is very friendly, professional, and efficient. I was brought back within minutes of checking in and was made comfortable my entire visit.
The owner and his employees are liars. Be careful of going to this place. They should be investigated.
Everyone is incredibly nice. You are in and out fairly quickly. Abigail, one of the nurse practitioners at Womens Wellness , is wonderful, and I highly recommend her.
Ive been coming here for almost ten years, and have had very positive experiences (with the exception of one evening appointment that started very late, but thats typical with almost all medical practices). Medical staff are all friendly and professional.
I have been going to this doctors office for about 6 or 7 years now. The doctors, nurses, assistants and receptionists have been compassionate and always answer all of my questions and concerns.
I am absolutely shocked, doctor from this place odrer exam i didnt give promotion to, violated my privacy just to get more money!!!! I came with common problem east infection, and doctor decide to make test for trichomonads and other similar things!!!! Be careful, they dont care about your health!!!! Even though my insurance company covered 90% of the bill i still have to pay 200$
The doctors and staff at Rittenhouse Women’s Wellness Center are professional and very helpful! I have been going there for years and every experience has been great! I would definitely recommend this office and their services!
I have been attending this facility for years. I feel that I have and still is receiving the best care. My physician is always on point with my care.
I have the best Dr I have been with her 25 year relocated to every new facility she’s ever been to this is the first time I’ve ever been treated disrespectfully from the billing department who had no consideration for me being fraud by the marketplace and trying to express my concern of the bill not being paid to my doctor then interrupt me while I’m trying to express my frustration to tell me to be quiet because she want to give me information to help me also interrupted the insurance person on the line I’ve never been spoken too so rudely by Vickie Pohl she needs training on how to deal with patients especially in these trying times
They have a 3.6 for a reason. This is the worst place to go to. Not only do they forget to send prescriptions to the pharmacy but the staff is so uncaring and unprofessional. I seriously would not recommend utilizing their services it’s not worth it.
Ive been coming here for years for my general doctor and OBGYN, theyre fabulous! Very attentive and professional, as well as friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Had a very bad experience at this place. The doctor only cares about money. They also ordered the wrong tests for me. Will never go to this practice again!!!
I use the Dermacenter with Lisa Taxin. Lisa is very skilled, responsive and professional. It is an intimate and local setting with state of the art technology.
Always a good experience. Professional and friendly office staff, thorough medical professionals. I never feel rushed through an appointment.
Top notch! The women at the reception are competent and friendly. The doctors and practitioners are caring and professional. It shows that they care about women and women’s health.
The doctors here have always been good to me but I cannot believe how rude Stephanie the receptionist was to me on the phone. She was extremely short and cranky to the point I was getting upset. Terrible customer service.
DO NOT GO HERE.Gone several times over the years in hope I would have a better experience, but every time am disappointed. Dont waste your time on their overpriced chargers and doctors that dont do anything but refer you to other doctors.
I love my doctor Maria Mazzotti and have always had a good experience with the staff. Ive never waited more than a few minutes
I used to love this place, but the past few years have been terrible. I just came 40 minutes into the office for a vaccine shot and after waiting for 15 minutes they told me they didnt have it. A better office would think to call.
Be prepared for surprise bills even with insurance (and checking the visit was covered with insurance and the practice). Oh and the billing department is zero help. First and last visit for me.
Very Nice office, don’t have to wait long. Receptionists are courteous and helpful. Joanna is the best!!! Thanks again!!
Does anyone pickup the phone here? The patient portal works about 10% of the time, and when I call, I wait for thirty minutes only to be hung up on. Ridiculous
As others have mentioned, the incompetence of this office is unreal. If you like throwing money away, or having your test results lost, this is the place for you.
Liz was awesome! She was so kind and helpful!
Exceptional practice! I have seen multiple physicians within the practice, and I loved them all.
After the pandemic this place really went down hill. After an extremely painful IUD replacement I decided to leave.
I always feel at ease here. Everyone is so professional and the doctors are fantastic! Always on time.
Wonderful, amazing, could not think of a single negative about my experience. Everyone was professional and incredibly helpful!
I have been seeing this physician group for about 7 years now and wouldnt go anywhere else.
