Dr. Sanfilippo is a good Doctor, however you have to call for your own results. And make sure you have a protocol for treatment. I did not get the correct information for my protocol. When I called to follow up on it I was given results of test from weeks earlier ( that I had to call for) and never any further instructions to follow to treatment. When I called again they could not treat me and stated for me to follow up with PCP for blood sugar treatment. This is after I spoke with the Dr. and nurses regarding next steps for treatment. You will get lost or left out if you do not pursue your own information from this office. At the end of it all I was unsuccessful and unsatisfied with the overall treatment, follow up, information and process of this office and Dr.
The actual care was good. They did their job. But the financial section/explanation was a lie. They were not honest or truthful about the actual cost. We were told it would be $5,000. over and over and over again. After you add in meds, other unknown charges and more, its closer to $10,000. Had that been explained to us during our FINANCIAL meeting with a lady named Janet, we would of been prepared. But now I was turned into collections because I obviously didnt have that much money saved bc I was not told it would be that amount. So... the service was good. But billing wise, ask a lot of questions and be sure they include every possible scenario if not youll be sent to collections for thousands of dollars you didnt know you owed.
I believe he is a very good, caring doctor. However he is kinda vague when answering questions and you have to call to get any information. I had a tubal reversal, that didn’t work and his only suggestion was IVF.
First of all this doctor is not only great at what he does but he is also caring about your health entirely and will always give the extra mile to make sure you understand what you also need to do to stay healthy.I decided to leave a review for him after seeing a very self centered comment that someone else left without leaving her name and that tells me that she didnt want to be help and she feels she knows more than the doctor but also doesnt want to show who she is ... I wonder why...Dr SanFilippo was present in the worst time of my life and helped me to recover very well after such difficult surgery he had to do on me and took the time to slow down when he spoke in English so I can understand everything he said. He brought back in me not only hope but taught me how important is to invest time in me and my health. For all the women out there, I recommend this talented doctor to you - do not follow just Google comments, based your decision on qualifications and look for people that actually cares about your health - those are very few doctors and this doctor is one of them. He actually cares about you.
Trying to get price estimates for endocrinologist without insurance is impossible! Called many times for costs for visits. They said specifically easier if had Dr. Name so I have not seen any Drs. at this point.
One of the most useless doctors I have ever encountered. Didnt even glance at my records and started lecturing me about eating chips and how I should go home and throw away all the junk food in the house despite his having zero knowledge of what is in my cupboards. He went on some crazy old man rant that was unbelievable. For the record I hate most chips you giant creep. People like this make the entire profession look bad. This doctor is unprofessional and quite possibly mentally unstable. I feel bad for his colleagues and patients alike.
He saved my life!!!
One of the best doctors Ive had!
