Booking a visit was easy when I got there the stuff was very friendly. The nursing assistant came in the room. She was very friendly and kind knowledgeable. I also had to have x-rays. x-ray technician was awesome. Thank you to the PC who saw me .she was very kind and knowledgeable. Thank you to the whole staff! I would definitely recommend nextcare!
The service all around here was excellent. Both of the receptionists were welcoming. I love that the forms were all digital, and I could fill them out on my phone. The nurse who took us in (whose name is escaping me now) and the nurse practitioner who saw my five year old daughter had some of the best bedside manner I’ve ever seen. They made us feel so comfortable, and their empathy made all the difference. They gave us great advice and the whole interaction was warm, which was invaluable because I was doing everything I can to hold it together. So grateful to the whole team.
I got to the clinic 15 minutes early to work on paperwork for my DOT medical exam. I checked in but did not receive paperwork for 30 minutes. I was called back 30 minutes after my appointment time but the staff was friendly and helpful. The exam itself was quick but I still waited in the exam room for the PA for another 20+ minutes. Appointment time was 3:30, I walked out at 5:20. The staff here were very familiar with DOT exam requirements but I will look for a non-urgent care facility for my next exam.
Had an eye issue and decided to get it checked out. The entire staff was so friendly and caring. What a nice experience. I didn’t have an appointment and they were able to see me within an hour. Highly recommend coming here!
I was there after making an appointment with Urgent Care to address possible UTI issue. The Front desk person was very attentive and was quick to address my appointment time. After a short wait time, I was escorted back to one of the exam rooms and promptly had my vitals and weight taken plus urine sample. After a short wait, my doctor came in and reviewed my results She was very thorough and answered all my questions.I was very impressed with the staff at the Nextcare Urgent Care in Prescott Valley. I was very well taken care of and was treated with respect as a patient.Wonderful clinic.RegardsJackie Sharp
Im truly grateful to the staff here. All the staff are always polite, informative and professional. We are able to get seen very quickly whether its a virtual or in-person visit. I love feeling confident that if theres anything that needs to be addressed or treated, any relief that they can offer or provide to my daughter, they will.During our most recent visit, the NP we saw, Miss Emma, was so, so patient with us. She educated me on what was going on, provided different treatment options and was kind enough to offer if we had trouble administering one of the medications, there was another one we could try. My daughter gave me so many of the biggest hugs after administering the other treatment option. She was just so relieved. I was so appreciative we had that other option offered to us if we needed it.It blows my mind that they have to put up signs around this office about treating the staff respectfully or they will have to ask patients to leave the facility. Ive always had positive experiences with NextCare. I can get my daughter seen fast and treatment started quickly, if theres any treatment available. If no treatment can be ordered, Im educated on what the cause is and why there are no treatment options, as well as how to provide some relief at home.Thank you guys for what you do. Thank you for always bringing a smile to my daughters face, with a sticker, after her visit. Thank you to Miss Emma for everything, and your amazing patience yesterday.
Not much waiting. Staff friendly and professional. Anne the PA was very nice. She found the problem quickly and explained the situation thoroughly. Gave me a referral to Podiatry. This is a great place for Urgent Care.
I was selected for a random drug test for my employment. Submitted paperwork to Rachel at front desk. Very kind professional exchange. Waited approximately 15 minutes & was taken back to do drug test. Tech that performed test was very kind but looked very unhappy. Found out from tech that they work 8, 10, 12 hours without any breaks & no lunch. Very disappointed to hear this info. Personal opinion here.....give employees a chance to recharge(even a 15 minute break) and they will be happier & more productive. The care given was 1st rate but I hate seeing people who are working on me or administering tests on me unhappy in their career because of their employer. Right to work state or not, people are due 2 - 15 minute breaks & at least a half hour unpaid lunch....FEDERAL LAW STATES THAT!!!!!Be kind to your employees & they inturn will give good service & be loyal.
The staff were so friendly. The doctor was amazing. Everyone was fantastic. I made an appointment rather than walk in and it didn’t take long at all to be seen. I would definitely go back. The nurses are happy funny helpful great clinic.
Other than waiting from 9am to 11am for just a couple X-rays, and aside from some cosmetic blemishes on the walls, floors and how small the rooms were, (I am a big guy) the Staff were friendly, professional and most are absolutely gorgeous. The place was clean and tidy. Thanks for making sure my ankle wasnt broken!Enjoy your day.
Went to another facility and was nine minutes late because of an emergency and they wouldn’t see me. Was in total distress. Next Care got me in with friendly staff, super kind bedside manner and quick turnover. Thank you next care for treating people with decency and respect And for getting the job done.
The staff are sharp and know what they are doing at thePrescottValley office. However, the company should provide them with great resources. How about a new air-conditioning system? If you want staff to continue being nice and pleasant in accomplishing their jobs, they should have the best place conducive for working. I left out 1 star because of that.
All the healthcare professionals were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Even at 5:15 and no other people there, they all had good attitudes. The front desk person i assume had a challenging day but she was fine:
Excellent customer service from when I first walked in. No wait at all and just had to fill out paperwork. Had never been before. Very impressed with front office, tech, nurse practitioner, x-ray tech, etc. Everybody I encountered was extremely friendly and wanting to help me. Highly recommend and will go back.
The staff were all fantasticUnfortunately I had a 4:00 appointment, I wasn’t seen until after 5:00 finished up after 6:00.I understand folks need to be taken care of as they come in but it was a long wait. I can’t stress enough though that all of the staff were friendly, professional and put forth a very caring demeanor.
My visit was very good. I had to leave and come back and when I came back they were still behind. That being said, the staff was very professional. They relayed the reason for the delay in schedule. Being short staffed is sometimes out of their control their control. The provider was very friendly and through and answered my questions. I would go there again if I needed to.
I would not recommend urgent care on windsong. They did not put the right directions on the medication label. Had to call the urgent care and let them know that the directions on the medication doesn’t make any sense. I was on hold for 30min . I told them I took two pills at one time. Thank God it didn’t cause anything serious.Am I suppose to take 2 capsules once daily or 2 capsules once in the morning and one and night.
I tried to get an allergy shot at two local offices. The first one canceled my appointment by text as I arrived because even though they were open, they had no provider. The second office had me come in and fill out a bunch of paperwork, then their provider said they wouldnt give me the shot because I was too old. Same shot Ive received for 25 years. Dont waste your time.
I had made an appt ahead of time. Staff was friendly and courteous. I think I got called in about an hour after my appt time and then waited a bit more after they got my initial info. Even though my appt started late I felt this is too be expected at an urgent care facility. My appt and taking off X-rays all went smoothly and efficiently. I have no complaints. Only thanks.
Everyone were very, very nice and understanding. They got him in almost as soon as we got there and then explained that he needed to go the emergency room because he was in a lot of pain.
Im not sure how they can call themselves an Urgent Care. They will turn people away who do not have an appointment. I was lucky when I walked in and got an appointment, however, I witnessed 2 people walk in after me, get turned away until much later in the day for appointment times, and heard 2 people on the phone being told they couldnt be seen until tomorrow because the appointments were filled for today. The front staff didnt seem to care in the least about turning people away. This is not Urgent care by definition. Even online if you go to make an appointment it says that they accept walk-ins during business hours, they do not, at least not at this location.Just to follow up, I did email the liaison and got no response.
Very thorough exam and testing! Very pleased with visit. The only thing that I didnt like was that they would not send the results of my visit to my primary care physicians office. The receptionist told me that I would have to sign a release of information at my primary cares office. That makes no sense to me. Why couldnt I sign my release of information at Nextcare to be sent to my doctors office, so that my information will already be there for my follow up appointment? Does not make sense at all! Also, a walk in appointment is not a walk in appointment at all! You have to make an appointment for your walk in appointment!
Courteous and professional from every member of the staff. They were overwhelmed, I felt sick, and yet each and every individual there took amazing care of me and saw to my needs with a friendly smile. Outstanding
I had a very good e pieroence with urgent care first of all the Dr. From the original telemed appt was veery concerned for my son and the the DrWho treated and saw my son was very fast and knew rt off the bat what his problem was and I was in and out of thos visit and everyone was very nice and helpful
It was a very good experience. My first time going to next care urgent care. The staff was helpful and took care of me. I was treated given a personal treatment, and a prescription and on my in two hours .
We arrived at 3:30 trying to get a walk-in visit for an injured ankle. They turned us away because they had filled up their walk-in quotas for the day. How are they an urgent care if they are not able to provide urgent care? We were there hours before their closing time! Seriously! What The Heck!
Saw the PA for shortness of breath possibility related to altitude sickness. He mentioned shortness of breath could be due to pulmonary embolism, but didnt order testing, even something as simple as D Dimer blood test to eliminate clot or know to test further. Wasted money and time for do the minimum approach.
Extra friendly! They go out of their way to make everything comfortable and convenient for you. Very caring and helpful. Great doctor and great staff.
Made the appointment online and the wait was less than 10 minutes and everybody there was very nice knowledgeable, and thurough. I would definitely recommend this urgent care when youre not able to get into your Doctor.
Took my 1 year old here today for an appointment that was scheduled at 1:00pm. I arrived early at 12:30. We were not taken back to a room until 2:45pm. The triage nurse stated that she was “skipping us” so that she could get us into a room right away instead of getting vitals and sending us back to the waiting room. Fine, but for over an hour and 45 minutes you’ve been “skipping us”. Then the dr finally came in to the room at 3:20. She was so abrupt and harsh while moving my son around. She said that she was in pediatrics for a while, and I can see why she isn’t anymore. Luckily my son is going to be just fine and has a case of croup, but I would not take a child here ever again. And don’t bother scheduling an appointment because they don’t care if you have one anyway.
All the staff were extremely pleasant and professional. Each and every one from the front desk to all of the medical staff encounters. My only suggestion is to enable same day appointments be made online.
Tried to book an online appointment but they were booked. But on the website is says they “are currently accepting walk in patients” so I drive all the way here, to find out they are not actually going to be able to see me. If you are booked up why doesn’t the website say that? The lady in the office was rude about it.
After a long 2hour wait with an appointment I finally saw a provider.. what exactly that means leaves me concerned. She was personable and things were fair ly clean. I would have been better served to know if she was an RN, NP or LVN. Her treatment was a lecture from a nursing 101 class. I have gotten better on my own.
It was nice to be able to set an appointment instead of waiting for hours as a walk-in. Everything was quick and efficient. The PA I saw was very professional. No complaints.
Great care but wait was a bit long !!! I feel much better ! People really need to adhere to wearing a mask when experiencing respiratory symptoms !
Left work to go to Urgent Care because the website stated they were taking walk-ins. When I got there they were not and stated its not our fault we only have one doctor. Well it is your fault your website is not correct...it doesnt matter, I found an excellent new Urgent Care in Prescott. They treated me like a human not a number, owned by a local man and his wife, and stayed late to see me. Next Care, you lost all my business and I will be telling everyone about the new Urgent Care.
Everyone was really nice and accommodating. For being in urgent care, it was a really pleasant experience. They took the liberty of walking to me as I finished filling out the paperwork so I wouldnt have to get up since I was holding my one year old. As they worked on me, they had someone come in to help hold my baby. Everyone acknowledged her and were the sweetest. Most importantly, the MAs and doctor didnt give up on their care as my condition was being a bit stubborn. They were so reassuring as they worked on me. I walked out of there feeling so much better. Thank you to everyone there today. I wish I grabbed names before I left!
So..I was well pleased with my visit to Urgent Care....the staff were courteous as well as professional in all they aspired to serve all of my nessesities!!! So with that being said ..your staffing should praised, for they all were Outstanding in their professionalism to serve me!!!! Thanks everyone for your extraordinary perciverance in treating me!!!
The staff here were very responsive to my needs. They took me right in and stitched me up.They sent my prescription to the pharmacy and scheduled a follow up since I am new to the area without a current PCP.Couldnt have went smoother. What a great group of medical professionals.
Do not give these people your credit card number !!! Iwas trying to help a friend when she signed up for the next care services at $39 a month. She used my card as a place holder, two weeks later when we got the bill we immediately called in to update the payment info to my friends card, they didn’t update it we tried again and they still charged me and this was last year. Since then, this friend I was helping and I had a falling out and they are still charging me for the services even after I sat down with this person and we cancelled the services on the call together in December!! $160 later I had to cancel my card because they refuse to hear what I’m saying to them. I’m not the account holder at next care so they refuse to let me cancel the service again!!! This is bad business and I will never use this service or urgent care again
I have been under the care of pain mgmt. For over 10yrs and Sun Pain has proven to be the best . My meds have always been prescribed in a timely manner and the staff is friendly and knowledgable.
The staff from the receptionists to medical personnel have been consistently helpful and friendly to deal with. Wait times can be a little much but the people that work here make it more tolerable.
This was my second time here in a few years. First time I was in and out quickly. Today I have an hour and 45 minute wait.Very nice staff and PA
The service was amazing. The gal at the counter Rachel extremely professional very helpful. Kudos to her she needs to get a raise.
We went right at 9 am on Sunday morning. There were 3 people in front of us. It was awesome! They don’t schedule appointments on Sundays so it’s walk in only. First come first serve. So if you get there early, right when they open or before, you’ll be in and out. Everyone was very pleasant and thorough. We didn’t feel like we were burdening them like a lot of places can make you feel nowadays. We had a great experience!
Removal of ingrown nails on both feet. Great care and attention to detail. Ivory was a true professional and listened which is a gift in and of itself! Thank you Ivory for taking the time out to make sure I was not in pain and for listening
I was satisfied with the issue with my stomach but the doctor did not seem interested in trying to figure out what the hump on my shoulder was. Left with no answers or new info about my shoulder
Friendly staff. Very clean environment. Positive feedback except they’re not fast. My appointment was at 11:15 and they didn’t call me until noontime.
Absolutely loved the staff and Dr. McCarver was an angel on earth. They took the best care of my son. I’m so grateful.
I was there for 2 hours after I was called back for a physical. Way too much redundant paperwork to complete. Companies dont have the front end do any paperwork any more.
Going in for medical attention is usually not a favorable experience, however hats off to the staff at this facility, they were kind and friendly. God Bless you for the service you provide
Every person on this staff were professional and had good humor..humor is so important. Will definitely return here for all my urgent care needs.
It’s my b-day and I had a giant hematoma on my arm. They made an appointment and I was in and out within an hour. They gave me advice but nothing for pain. Very kind and helpful
I had an excellent experience at NextCare. I went in to have my pointer finger checked and to get an antibiotic. The provider took one look at it and said she wouldnt touch it and said I needed to go straight to the hospital. I did as she said and ended up being admitted, placed on IV antibiotics, and required surgery on that finger. The infection was far worse than I thought. Im very thankful that NextCare acknowledged their medical limitations.
Very thorough in assessments by all staff involved in my care. Professional, friendly, caring. Very impressed with entire process. Thank you and kudos to all!
Our visit far exceeded our expectations. The provider (Physicians Assistant) was a consummate professional in explaining everything after treating my wife.
I am currently still waiting to be seen. I scheduled an appointment for 3:45pm. It is now 6:30pm.The last time I came here I was having an allergic reaction and couldnt breathe. They told me the wait time would be 2 hours. I left and went to the ER instead where I was pulled back immediately.I will not be coming back again! For how large this town has grown we need more options for medical care!
Amazing 1st time using urgent care and was nervous because Ive heard horror stories about other places. Looked it up online at 245pm and said had 1 appt left at 320. So took it and headed there. Was seen with in 20 mind and out of there in less than 30. Everyone was super friendly. Hope I do t have to go back ever but if I do will definitely pick here to go to. Thank you!!
I had to bring my son for a follow up because it was too long to see the pediatrician. I was also not feeling too well today and I asked the receptionist if I could be seen as a walk in. The staff was accommodating and although they were busy we were both seen and treated. Thank you guys for helping us.
Great service, everyone was really friendly and the Doctor was really nice and seemed to really care.
I went to NextCare for X-rays on my wrist. It was hurting. Got a brace for it. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.
You dont strive to provide exceptional service. I was told when I agreed to your membership that the facility can provide whatever they are capable of in the building! I couldnt even get a physical! Ridiculous! And dont even try to cancel your membership as they have No cancellation forms available ON SITE... Convenient! So to cancel you have to go online or email. After an hour on hold (ALL TIME RECORD FOR ME) AN HOUR ON HOLD? I was finally informed of that! RIDICULOUS! youre seriously better off paying out of pocket to go somewhere else... which is very sad.
The wait at 5:00 was great! Only 2 people ahead of me. The room was clean and everyone was professional.
For all the staff has to do, they remain patient, kind, professional, compassionate and take time to listen and talk things through. The wait time is sometimes long (because there are a lot of people in need of care), but their system is well organized so you don’t have to sit in a waiting room not knowing who is up next. I’m very impressed and grateful for the team of caregivers at NextCare.
My husband was seen in October 2023. Front desk claimed to have checked my insurance and told us our copay was over $500. They wouldn’t let him be seen without us paying. When I got my EOB we only owed $86. Here it is March of 2024 and I’ve called multiple times for a refund. Still no refund. Do not pay at time of service for any services provided at this company!
The doctor and nurses were great. Got in, got answers and was out the door in less than 30 min.
The nurse and doctor we saw today were very helpful. They really listened and provided next steps to help resolve my issues.
Dad had horrific toothache on Saturday and theres NO emergency dental in the entire quad cities on weekends. Called to ask about dental care. The lady on the phone was knowledgeable and said antibiotics could/may be prescribed from the sound of the symptoms. They were busy but got us in. Filled out all the information on line before the visit. The lady who greeted us was sooooo nice and kind. Then the 3 medical staff!!! Can you say AMAZING??? They were professional, sympathetic, efficient and caring. Were very thankful Dad is on antibiotics until he can see his dentist. Thanks to these incredible medical professionals.... were very blessed. THANK YOU for your sacrifice and dedication. 👏👏👏. Nina for Charles.🥰
What kind of joke is this place? Urgent Care? Oh, but you need an appointment or we can see your 6 year old in five hours. Now, you weigh down the ER with things you should be taking care of. This town is terrible for health care.
The Place Is Great 👍 Friendly. Efficient, Professional And Knowledgeable, Im So Glad They Are There.
Reception, PA and radiology tech were all fantastic. They took their time with me and. LISTENED!
These guys are rock stars. I couldnt get in for the actual appointment I made due to the doctor being out and when I finally got an appointment, I had to wait almost 2 hours for care (hence the missing star.) However, the care I received from these ladies was wonderful. They were really understanding of my medical trauma and accommodated me very well. I wasnt expecting nice doctors and nurses since its an urgent care, but these guys were so sweet and the lady from the front desk even texted me afterwards to tell me to have a good nights rest. Im so utterly grateful for yall, you deserve a raise! I wish they had more employees to make the wait times go faster, but thats at the fault of the owners, not the employees. Please give these wonderful ladies extra love and if you ever need help, dont hesitate to go here!
Urgent care, by appointment only. Website says walk in available, as we are looking for somewhere else to go. Called the other one. Same thing. Worthless.
My experience was outstanding. My providers were very nice and respectful, efficient and competent. My wait time was appropriate. Could not be more pleased.
I was a walk in. They treated me relatively quickly (as these things go). Staff was friendly and courteous. Visitor from Canada with no health insurance in the US, they didnt bat an eye, and price was reasonable (as these things go).
Very pleasant experience. Staff was professional, supportive and efficient! Would definitely recommend this NextCare Urgent Care!Second visit not so good! Long wait, tv’s don’t work, people with appointments waiting, waiting. Left without being seen. Too bad after the first time was so good. The reason why I went for the first visit was not resolved.
The staff was kind. The nurse took care of my paperwork and took note of my history. She really listened, and ask questions. The PA, Ivory, was knowledgeable and very helpful. She actually read my paperwork. She actually listened to me. It was a nice experience considering you dont feel well. Better than going to my primary care.
They still enforce the wearing of masks on individuals who are accompanying said party to the facility, even though their own staff dont wear them in the lobby. Found said staff to be extremely rude, unprofessional, easily triggered when confronted with questions, reluctant to provide proper care and all around unorganized and aggressive with common their clients. Would love to speak with GM. Staff on this shift 6pm 02/05/2024
No Dr.s on site-sorry as nice and polite as you may be that extra education does make a huge difference plus the r/x was sent to the wrong pharmacy in the next town over
I was satisfied with the care I received here: my wait wasnt too long and the Dr. and staff were very professional and courteous..My only issue is with the actual offfice itself. It could definitely use some maintainence such as paint, a bit more cleaniless - that would help patients feel better in many ways.
Staff was very friendly & caring. I was able to get my issue resolved .
0 Stars! Only put 1 because you have to in order to leave a review. - Never heard of an Urgent Care that only does walk-ins from 7-8am.. I was told that we could not be accommodated as a walk-in because they were booked & we had to make an appointment. Walk-ins should be accommodated throughout the day. Very disappointing!
I scheduled an appointment onlinefo the available appointment of 7:30pm and completed my paperwork. A few hours later I received a text asking me if I could come in at 7 because they closed then. I said yes. Then a few hours later I received another text asking me to reschedule for the next day because they closed at 6pm. I asked to speak with someone and when they called they told me that there was a glitch with their website. Well, I could clearly see on their hours of operation and the available appointments. They clearly failed to update their website and would not honor my appointment and had no empathy for my situation. Very unprofessional and clearly knew they had me by the balls because they are the only urgent care center where I live.
Had no appointment went in about 9:15 did forms was told could get a 10:15 appointment. Okay waited, was not call till about 11am. Wish there timing was better. Staff in front was nice Dr was nice.
The staff and doctor Mica were very compassionate and helpful. My problems were found & taken care of quickly. Dr Mica Adair is the kindest Dr Ive ever met.I didnt have to wait long to be seen and the waiting rooms are bright & spacious here.Im so grateful and highly recommend this urgent care.
Used online to get in queue, so only waited a short while once at the clinic. Just make sure you get in line EARLY in the day - theyre usually booked up by midday. Desk personnel and nurse, PA were friendly and was seen very quickly once in the exam room.
The provider doesn’t seem to know very much about my severe persistent asthma, too bad i couldn’t get in quik with my pulmonologist because the provider i saw thinks everything is just fine even though i made a appointment for a reason i would not waste my time for fun,i take it very seriously when i can’t breathe well, because i know it means i have alot of inflammation in my lungs, and the provider did seem to know much about it and thought i was just fine,i wasted my time going there,if only the other provider Gilda was there that day, she knows much more about severe asthma!!
Today was our first visit with NextCare in Prescott Valley. Four employees handled all the patients. Walk in and appointments. We spent about 3 hours there from check in to leaving. Next time I will add the app to my phone, create an online account and make an appt on line to help the process go smoother. We were very impressed with how employees handled the amount of people who came in the door. The front office staff person was exceptional, she had patience with everyone who came in. I wish I could say everyone treated her with respect too. We received excellent care by all four employees. If I need urgent care on the weekend in the future I would not hesitate to return here.
The staff was great.. made an unpleasant visit very comfortable and even made me laugh even though I was in a considerable amount of pain. I appreciate the care I was given!
Tried to call and schedule a visit for the Nextcare in Prescott Valley AZ..On the website it states taking walk-ins and one person waiting. When you call to schedule an appoint it transfers you, and the it goes to busy signalSince the website stated taking walk ins and 1 person waiting We decided to drive down. When we arrived the little blonde with glasses and two other people looked like nurses and possible a PAAll chatting and yes there was one person in the waiting room.I asked how long the wait was and she said )In a not so nice tone) we’re not accepting any walk-ins at this time I asked isn’t this urgent care and she replied quite rudely we have had 25 walk-ins already today and we only have one provider so we cannot see anymore patientsThis was at 11:01 am on 2/19/2024
Most ridiculous urgent care I have ever encountered. My daughter moved to Prescott Valley last year for school and has needed urgent care a few times. Usually they are not taking walk ins, often they have no tech to do xrays and so send her down the road to SimonMed to wait even longer, and today was the capper. They contacted her and said they had had a cancellation so she could get in at 12:30. She took the appointment because she has been suffering for days with food poisoning, and minutes after she did so, this clinic texted her to cancel it because the provider is suddenly out of office. Do you have no backup providers or techs? Do you not have a pool of staff to make sure you can run your clinics? If you dont, reevaluate your hiring and retention practices and improve your staffing model.
Very professional. One issue I don’t understand….You are contracted with the VA but won’t send records to them without a request from them. When I contacted the VA they said I shouldn’t need a request as you are contracted you can just fax them direct to my team. Now I had to leave a note for my team and wait for that to route to my provider to put in a request. Shouldn’t be this difficult.
The front office woman Destiny was very kind and helpful when I was there alone
I made an appointment, and was seen, had the x-ray I needed, spoke with the PA, and was treated quickly and well...all in less than 1 hour. I will be using them again...very professional
The clinic appears to be a very organized, well run urgent care center. I used their services for a plugged ear with some pain, itchiness. I was provided a friendly greeting by all staff, desk, techs, and provider, quickly admitted and evaluated and in short order my ear was flushed and any discomfort, plugging relieved! I was provided simple clear discharge instructions. There was a steady stream of patients entering and leaving and everyone was treated respectfully. I felt my needs were heard, met and respected. Great job!!! I’m a retired RN with high expectations and their care was exception!!!!
I had an appointment on Sun morning 3-27-22 at the Prescott clinic which texted me the morning of the appointment that due to staffing shortages, they couldn’t open. So I called the PV clinic which said to come right over and they’d fit me in. I arrived, filled out the paperwork, and was told to drive to the back entrance and wait for a phone call. 10 minutes later a nurse called me and asked some questions and then met me at the back door. I was only in an exam room for about 15 minutes when a PA came in and examined me, diagnosed my illness, and had me wait another 5 minutes while she completed my paperwork and called in some Rx’s to my pharmacy. Everyone was very friendly, professional and respectful. I was done in a little more than an hour of arriving. I highly recommend NextCare Urgent care when you can’t get in to see your regular doctor.
It was great! Thank you to all the health care workers there. Very friendly and helpful!
I had a late afternoon appointment so of course I waited longer to get seen but the care and help given made up for the delay. This was my first personal visit but Ive been with my sister for her visits and have been impressed with all staff and services. Thank you for being there for this community!
Everyone was awesome. I was misdiagnosed in AZ. When I got back home I went to patient care. Turns out I had pneumonia and they cured my illness! Im very happy and feel 100% better!
Was pleasantly surprised at how quiet, clean, friendly, orderly it all was. No line on Monday morning . When had tried on friday 57 on walk in. This morning 0.PA Adam and his nurse were real and professional, very good experience and results and treatment explained well. Thx
I’ve been here twice and both times the care and courtesy have been very good. The wait time can very a lot for walk ins. I only go there for injuries, and those don’t happen by appt. I wish they had one person set aside for walk ins.
I’ve been here at least 20 times over several years. Always with appointments. It doesn’t matter if I have a 9am or 4pm appointment they are ALWAYS at least 45 minutes behind schedule with excuses. They have no respect for others time. Or us in the parking lot waiting and waiting with a sick child. I’m up for suggestions of other places similar but with respects for their patients.
I saw Gilda Bidet at the Prescott Valley Urgent Care. Very professional and Kind Hearted. Really had an outstanding visit with her. She was great. Thank you Gilda for the quality of my visit. I also saw Emma Nunez a couple of days prior, she was also very professional and kind. The whole staff really was great.
Everything went very well for my Mom. She was able to get the help she needed. The staff was very helpful and professional.
Everyone that I encountered during my urgent care visit was exceptional. The front desk, nurse and the PA. All great! Got me in & out quickly without making me feel rushed. Prescription was sent over to Costco & was ready by the time I arrived at Costco to p/u. Highly recommend this urgent care!
My baby has been not feeling well during the holidays and hes pediatrician is close on Saturday so I took him there and Im glad I did , my poor little one got some sort of virus. They were all friendly and professional and he was seen faster then going in to the emergency room.
The Medical Assistant was thorough. The Doctor was fabulous … but the blond greeting gal that checked me in was a bit cold and unwelcoming. She was eating her lunch at her desk while checking people in. Not very professional.
Everyone was so helpful.I felt they were sympathetic to how bad I was feeling. The PA prescribed medication & will follow up with the X-ray she ordered. I’m so glad that I found your place. Will recommend to my friends.
Mica and her assistant were caring and thorough in taking care of my medical issue. (Blocked ear canals) the assistant was patiently persistent at vatting the issue cleared. Thank you!
Staff got me in for walk in service when they said they would. Dr or physicians assistant answered all of my questions and very professional.
Great staff, very pleasant. Got me in and out quickly.
Impressed and so grateful for their efficient patient care and exceptional customer service from start to finish. Thank you for more than exceeding my expectations!
Always the best care and dedicated staff here. I am very appreciative that I can count on caring professionals.
They got me in pretty quick for an employee screening. They were friendly and efficient and took care of my need without even an appointment. It was very good. Thx
First time at this location. Staff were courteous, it didnt take long to be seen. Definitely will go back if Im in need of urgent care services.
The front desk were very helpful. The providers were professional!! Great place
Everyone was so professional and very nice! I thank them from the bottom of my heart..and my broken foot thanks them too👍🏼❤️
The PA who treated me was not a good listener; she negated my symptoms. I told her I couldnt tolerate antihistamines but she ordered it anyway. She spoke very fast trying to explain what was wrong with me. Im an RN and I couldnt follow what she was saying. She did order steroid and antibiotic which I agree was appropriate. I did not fill the antihistamine. All other experiences at this urgent care have been good.
I received excellent medical care. They were caring and professional. I will return.
I was a walk-in. Everyone was very nice, helpful and professional. I needed stitches in my arm right below my elbow. The nurse who took my vitals was very caring. Mica was my provider. She was very gentle and caring. Making sure I was ok through the whole process. I definitely will recommend this Urgent care.
They provided great care the only downfall is they dont accept walk-ins.
Quick and efficient.Nice folks. Were back again. Everything was super efficient. Mika is the best.Making an appointment prior sure works in the clients favor.Im sure we will see yall again!Until then, THANKS SO MUCH!Kevin & Sheila Grasso
The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were a walk-in and there were 16 patients ahead of us.Neat thing they do is check you in, give you an approximate time you will be seen, ours was in 5 hours, They send you a text when the person before you is called in to return. We only waited maybe 15 minutes before being seen.So nice not to have to sit & wait that entire time. Also, all the sick patients wait in their cars in the back parking lot where they also enter through a designated door. They never come in contact with the other patients. We really appreciated it.
Much more efficient than the ER. In and out with treatment in an hour. Then 5 hour wait at ER.
I was very happy with my visit to this facility. As always an emergency came up over a long weekend. Although I wasnt able to get in the same day I got an appointment for the following day. I didnt wait long and before I knew it I was xrayed and had a cast on my arm. Fabulous kind and professional staff!! Thank you for treating me so well!!
There was a time in the past visiting Nextcare would have been unpleasant. The staff then was unhappy, curt and not always helpful. Times have really changed. My current visits to Nextcare have been exceptional. Staff are compassionate, attentive, and take the time to treat the person, not just the condition.
Im very pleased with this urgent care clinic. Every time Ive gone I have been happy with the medical staff, and the front office staff.
I made an appointment the day before my visit for 5:00 pm (the only time available). I was seen on time and every employee was extremely helpful and kind, especially Lilly, the MA. I would not hesitate to return if need be.
I had two great experiences in less than 2 weeks. One for my son one for me. The gal who checked me in today6/17, was very kind. The gal who checked us in 6/9/22,with my son, who had a gushing split in his chin, 40 min until closing was just amazing and caring. Every nurse is helpful, kind, and understanding. They are prompt and just all around a genuine people. I appreciate the staff and all you do.
I had great service from the entire staff. I highly recommend this place.
Front desk is the first impression. They cant keep good people and the ones they hire are not doing the practice any good. Long wait times that are not updated on the site but they want to do everything on the internet. Strike 2. Once you get to the back the nurses are great and the doctors are friendly. They dont go above and beyond and they tend to go with the easy solution but, sometimes thats what were here for. 4 ⭐ for the nurses, 3 for the doctor and -5 for the front desk. They get 2 ⭐ over all
All personal were professional and efficient. I had an excellent experience.
Support staff is wonderful. The wait was longer than expected with an appointment but there is good reason for that. ONLY ONE PROVIDER was working there. That said.MICA ADAIR,PAC was absolutely thorough, efficient, and professional throughout my exam. Her medical expertise was excellent, her compassion wonderful. She LISTENED and took the time to educate me about my condition and made the appropriate referrals for me.I wish I could find the same care in a PCP locally. The shortage of Providers in the Prescott area is challenging.Thank you all staff at Next Care in PV!
Very good, all of the staff were very nice and made me feel at ease.
The wait time was minimal and everyone was professional, friendly and kind. They took very good care of my friend. I highly recommend this facility if you need urgent care.
Went in without an appointment and was seen same day. Whole visit I was there for under an hour. Whole staff was nice & friendly.
“Just don’t kiss your coworkers” was the not so helpful advice from medical “professionals” I was given. No wonder the medical field has lost respect.
I made an appointment late last night for early today, and completed the paperwork online. I was seen within a few minutes of my appointment. The staff was super nice, including the assistant who took my vitals and administered the tests as well as the cheerful PA who checked me out snd read the results. I appreciated the attitude considering the hordes of patients they have to deal with everyday.
The ‘online appointments’ are fraudulent. Appointment is booked, money is taken, and after a significant wait you speak to a possible assistant for 2 minutes. If a prescription is ‘given’, it is not sent out to your pharmacy. Then, if you try calling back to inquire about the status, you will wait hours even trying multiple local and 800 numbers to never speak to a person. Our online account ‘follow up’ and ‘appointment notes’ is blank.
This was my first time to use NextCare urgent care and was pleasantly surprised. I was there on a Saturday afternoon. They were very efficient and courteous. I didn’t have to wait very long to see the PA. I got a diagnosis, a prescription, and was feeling better the next day. I’d go back.
The PA that I saw, Gilda was awesome. I don’t remember the name of the women who took my vitals but she was amazing as well. Today was a good day as far as professionalism and knowledge within the medical field and at the urgent care. Thankful I had an encounter with them.
If one is not well, and the need for healthcare is eminate, then NextCare in Prescott valley is the go to place to be. from the check-in ladies to doctor Emma, Randy, and all the rest of the crew, professionalism is at its peak with this group. I have never in my 70 years have been in the presence of such a fine tuned group of medical professionals!
Had a 5:00 appointment was in at 4:40 what mire can you ask for? They Also fixed my problem
It was quick and the pre-registration made it easy. I had to wait hours for an appt.,but I was able to go home and in the comfort of my home, fill out the paperwork.Ryan Ziegler was nice and knowledgeable.
Great urgent care! Kind and helpful staff. Appreciate the help so much!
Amazing staff, both friendly and great at their job!! I needed 5 stitches and the whole experience was quite awesome, ;) starting from the front desk, nurse to my PA! Thank you!
Very professional and was quick to be seen at my appointment time.
Doctors were making jokes about patients, all the giggling and horse play was extremely unprofessional when patients were waiting over 2 hours to be seen with an appointment!
I was able to schedule an appointment for this morning, yesterday afternoon. I was checked in almost immediately, then someone directed me into a room. They took my vitals including my blood pressure. They did some x-rays, got me fixed up, and sent me on my way in less than an hour. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. If I ever need an Urgent care, I will definitely come back here.
Loved the staff here! They got me in as a walk in and were very quick. Got me in and out in less than an hour and a half! Thank you so much!
The staff were all friendly and helpful. The wait was very long (almost 3 hours) but that’s out of their control and I thought they handled it well. They took my information as a walk in and I was able to wait at home until I moved up in line, then I waited there in my car for about 20 minutes, and once I was in a room they met with me quickly. I didn’t feel rushed and each staff person I spoke to answered all of my questions. I would recommend this clinic to others but I’d definitely recommend going as early in the day as possible.
Everyone was very nice. I was very happy with my care.
I had to go to the Prescott Valley location because there were no providers in Prescott on Sunday. It was a long wait to get checked in but the receptionist who was there on her own, was very people friendly and welcoming. The staff were very professional and courteous in light of the fact that they were very busy.
Person at check in/checkout was very helpful and informative. All staff that we encountered was very friendly
Dont flipping bother trying to call there automated defense systems suck so bad that i sat on the phone for over an hour never got a flipping human on the phone. If you need anything from these jokers you better do it in person, they cant even get prescriptions correct have workmans comp case they only marked one of the scripts as workers comp, and because they wont answer the bloody phone i had to leave the pharmacy and drive back to next care and make them correct it in person. yall got a flipping marathon to go to fix everything wrong with your system. Get your head out of your bum and do it!!!!
Off to a rough start, a bit unprofessional and discouraging when I came in to the office with my SX’s and seeing the front office staff eating a salad. The other front office staff that greeted me had her phone out and was scrolling through it as she was checking me in. Luckily, Dr. McCarver was efficient, kind and thorough. His MA was kind, and professional. I appreciate the care.
The staff at NextCare were very helpful and nice.Emma was great with explaining things
Friendly staff, I had cut my thumb and couldnt fill out forms, front desk assisted me in completing sign up info. No stitches, they just glued cut shut. Although my injury was minor, they treated me respectfully.
I have to admit I had a horrible taste in my mouth being as I have visited other next care facilities before. They could care less about their patients, they stop taking patients hours before they close, never return phone calls, and quite honestly make u feel as if you are a bother when you walk in the door. To my surprise this Facility is one of the best I have visited. Fast, friendly, and efficient. I felt welcome walking in the door and encountered the best staff. Special admiration for Amanda L. for going above and beyond. She by far exceeds any and all expectations I have for a staff member and probably changed my mind that all next cares are horrible. She made me feel comfortable, she knew way more knowledge than I expected... kinda surprised she’s not the doctor really... she should be. And she even joked with me to keep my mind in a better place given the circumstances. She genially cares about the patients and took the time to explain everything instead of rushing me out the door to get to the next patient.
Very prompt service. Finally an urgent care that allows appointments
If I could give zero stars I would. They need to fix their website. It claims they take walk in appointment up until close and said there was only 2 people in line, so I showed up two hours before close and they TURNED ME AWAY because they had 20 people in line. Wasting my gas, my time, and leaving me with the only option for medical care today being the hospital. So much for making sure I am not contagious for work tomorrow. Worst clinic ever dont go there.
Quick for urgent care standards. Friendly doctors. Helped with referrals for what was needed.
They don’t take walk ins anymore and they are always booked two days out!
They are so professional, and so caring, and so family-like. I felt like a part of their community just walking in. I could not believe what they have to deal with sometimes, they try their best for us and the rudeness they receive sometimes broke my heart. My doctor was so knowledgeable, she was so professional and she helped my life today, they all did. But if Im correct, just one doctor alone saw over 65 people today... Thats hard work and dedication for us all by 1 person!! I am so happy they exist and so thankful for all they do. I highly respect everyone in that building.
WAIT. WAIT. WAIT. I made an appointment and WAITED in the lobby, waited in Dr. Office. That is unprofessional and rude. I had absolutely no faith in their professionalism. The place is filthy with signs all over about your behavior. I felt like I was visiting the county jail!! I guess the medical staff is better than everyone else. No one said a word or apologized. I walked out twice. Id rather visit a clinic in Mexico! Go somewhere else!
From the front desk to the back clinic staff and the provider, everyone was friendly, inviting and informative. I always have a good experience when I go to the Prescott Valley Nextcare Urgent Care!
This was my first time at NextCare. There were no available appointments online, so I took a chance as a walk-in. To my surprise, there wasn’t anybody in the waiting room. As the scheduled appointments arrived, they were quickly brought back to an exam rooms. Those who were walk-ins, were encouraged to go get coffee or breakfast after being told their wait time. That kept the waiting room basically empty. Which I appreciated. Though I had to wait 1 1/2 hours to be seen. I was treated with respect, my problem addressed. I would recommend NextCare to anyone who is in need of non- emergency care.
Great staff. Great service. Minimal time waiting.
Probably one of the worst urgent cares I absolutely love the one in Prescott which I prefer but it didn’t have any appointments today. I set an appointment to get in and it’s taking well almost 2 hours after the appointment to be seen. Why have an appointment system? Might as well just post for walk ins only since many walkins are being taken in beforeEdit: I will upgrade to give 2 stars for the amazing bedside manner of the PA on duty. She was great with my daughter
Updated Review: The wait time was insane but the care was exemplary and the entire office staff was incredibly personable, friendly and kind. They only had walk-in slots when we arrived and no more available appointments and there were 20 people ahead of us. Every facility is backed up right now, I know. But they said go home and theyd send me a message to come back when it was our turn, so at least we didnt have to wait 3 hours in a waiting room. It was a good way to handle the high amount of patients. In the end, probably one of the best visits wed ever had here, although its usually pretty good anyway. Beats having to book out a regular doctors appointment by at least 5 weeks, by far. And we couldnt wait that long anyway and glad we dont have to resort to the ER when unnecessary. Glad to have an in-between type facility that you can always get in day-of when needed even if its a long wait.
The staff are very caring and pleasant. I havent been happy with other Urgent Cares I have used in the past. Next Care Urgent Care in Prescott Valley is exceptional. I did have a one-hour wait, and I had an appointment. I do think that making the appointment and completing the questionnaire at home may have taken an hour to complete in the office. Additionally, the center was very full. I am a retired R.N. Unless you are working there side-by- side, you really cant complain about waiting for your turn to see the doctor. I will use this Urgent Care again and am thankful this facility is fairly close to where I live.
First time patient at this Urgent Care. From beginning to out the door, I found caring, friendly, compassionate people who really wanted to help me. They did so in a timely manner, but did not make me feel rushed. I highly recommend, and would come here again.————————Follow up:Four days later, my symptoms were worse. I walked in 10 minutes before closing time. I apologized for that, and was told to not give it a thought. The entire staff here is kind, professional, and thorough. They did an x-Ray which showed I have pneumonia. SO thankful they are here.
I had an appointment, I waited two hours past my appointment time. Walk ins where taken before my scheduled appointment.I am in lots of pain, I dont understand this. Be sure to say you have chest pain, you will get bumped before evryone else, even if you are laughing and do not appear in distress. I had to leave for the ER. They are faster.
Staff was very polite and happy especially for the end of day on a Friday. The assistant was very good to us and the P.A. was amazing. Nothing but good things to say about this visit.
Had a long wait but they were extremely busy and squeezed me in as a walk in. Everybody was very kind and caring. PA was knowledgable and friendly. Learned about the Access program so next time I can make appointment on my phone and receive the discount.
All staff at NextCare were awesome, kind and professional, the office is clean and comfortable would definitely recommend we have been on two separate occasions.
Was a little disappointed by the time to get in. We were told about 40 minutes. We were sent to wait in our vehicle. About 1 hour and 20 minutes later, we checked and were told 2 people were still ahead. I understand a wait since we were walk ins, but wish we had a better estimate. We went and picked up some food and finished before we were called in. The staff treated us, and cared for us well.
Just needed an xray for an arm injury. In and out in under an hour. Extremely nice staff.
My husband got on walk-in waiting list. We were able to get seen 30 minutes sooner than expected. The staff have always been professional, skilled and friendly.
From the staff at the front desk, all the way through to treatment, everyone was professional, and my needs were met. I had a concerning lingering cough and was x-rayed right there. And with so many folks not feeling well right now, it’s nice to have options to book online, or walk in and be called close to the time of being seen. You can’t help having some type of wait time right now, just know that and be realistic.Overall great experience. Don’t go to the emergency room if not absolutely necessary. I’m satisfied and already on the mend! Recommended!
Full for 2 days at a time. Online availability and real time not in synch. Saw many people turned away. The care I received was very good.
My spouse and I went here for Covid tests and while the wait was long, we were able go home and wait while using their online system to determine our place in line. The staff and PA we encountered were all kind, helpful and professional. Our test results came back in less than 24hrs, which was not expected. Very pleased with our experience. This is my second time visiting Next Care, second location. I would definitely recommend.
Went to clinic on a Sunday based on positive reviews. Parking lot was empty and only 2 people in the waiting room ahead of me. Sat for 1 1/2 hours while over a dozen people came and went after me (no one appeared to be worse off than me). Left without being seen and figured I’d get better care and consumer service at an illegal border crossing or homeless encampment. We’ll see how much they charge my insurance company for sitting in their waiting room for 1 1/2 hours.
I had a great experience under an unfortunate circumstance. My insurance became active THAT day I had visited. They worked with me well and helped me figure out my insurance situation then when I was seen I was given the time of day to explain everything going on and not rushed. If ever need be I will return and be happy to be greeted nicely and taken care of.
Cut the top digit of my left pinky doing yard work. Met interesting people waiting. The nurse was wonderful and considerate of my needs. The practitioner was great and did a great job of stitching me up. Discharge papers are clear about my aftercare.Got the stitches out, today. Practitioner did a good job. All healed.
Very busy day at this location but the receptionist took everyone’s information and put them in a list. Patients didn’t have to wait in the building which was helpful. Notification that it was almost my turn came in the form of text message. I arrived back at the clinic and was seen fairly quickly by a Physician’s Assistant. The appointment went well.
The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Took time to listen. Got in pretty quickly, but was one of the first few there. The website could use work, confusing on whether they have appointment or not
This location got me in quickly which never happens.. but the doctor was condescending to me and made zero effort to help my situation. He told me to just ride it out and he sent me on my way. Not cool.
Their computers were down due to the storm so with an appointment. I waited 45 minutes. They gave great service. I would go again.
The wait time is so much better than it used to be. You can schedule an appointment online, or if youre a walk-in they let you go home and wait and give you a time to come back. The doctors and nurses are really nice as well.
There is a note upfront that says to treat the staff with respect. I had no problems with that because the staff was all helpful, kind, and respectful to me. I had a 2 hour wait, but their kindness made it tolerable from the receptionist, nurse, xray tech all the way to the PAC. Thanks for a good experience.
This urgent care took great care of me! The nurse Candace had me screened for vitals and symptoms very quickly and comprehensively. Madison, the PA, was cordial, competent, and caring in her diagnosis and prescribed treatment of my condition. And their office hours on a Saturday made care both accessible and available.
Unbeknownst to me some of the services required for a pre-employment physical were not available at the Willow Creek Road location but I was able to complete the two missing pieces of the puzzle in Prescott Valley. Friendly and competent staff that accommodated me and got it done by the close of business. Made for a long day but at least it was only one day.
Liked the staff and opportunity to get seen without an appointment.
I have used this clinic several times and been very happy, so todays experience was disappointing and hopefully an anomaly. I arrived at 8:15 and was told there was a 2-3 hr wait time and they would text me to return. I did not see the text telling me to return. I appreciated the phone call reminder and arrived soon thereafter. Because of my symptoms, I was asked to wait in my car and it was nearly 90 minutes before I was called in. I was told there were several pre-scheduled appointments and emergencies that had delayed me being called in sooner. Once I was shown to a room, it took 2-1/2 hours to have a throat culture, see the doctor, get an antibiotic shot and be discharged with a prescription. I do appreciate the care, but dont understand WHY it took so long: 90 minutes to get in, then 2-1/2 hours in the clinic.
I RECEIVED QUICK SERVICE, AND EXCELLENT HELP !!THE STAFF WAS FABULOUS AND VERY HELPFUL !! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !!
This was my first ever visit to an urgent care. I’m a veteran and was sun bad shape the care, compassion and concern for my health was beyond exceptional! I’d recommend them to anyone! Thank you for such great advice and care!!!
Nextcare urgent care on floentine and windsong is fantastic. I strongly recommend them. They do a thorough procedure on you and diagnose your problrm . Mine turned up to be pneumonia. Gilda is a great doctor.
Today I unfortunately needed medical expertise. I went to NextCare Urgent Care. From the check in til I was Discharged, I was very impressed with the staff. They were all polite, knowledgeable and Friendly. They made me feel comfortable, They listened and did there best to help me feel better. Going to get medical help is never something I want to do, But Because of how all the staff worked to take care of me, IF nessessary I will use NextCare in the Future.Thank you Urgent Care
