I had a wonderful experience here. Every single worker here was friendly and warm and welcoming and helpful. I came in a little nervous and left feeling at ease. With my insurance all the care I received was very affordable. I’m so thankful for this clinic and the people who work there. These are people making a difference 🖤
Planned Parenthood always gives me the best care. My appointment at this location was quick and everything was explained in detail and step by step. Everyone made sure I was informed and comfortable. I would give ten stars if I could!!
EDITED: Even after paying $140, mind you all of the money I had on my bank account. I get a bill for 223$ this morning when it shows on my bank account that the payment went through. Planned parenthood is a total scam!!Planned parenthood is a scam! They really need to tell people pricing and cost up front. I just had to pay 223 for a UTI screening.
Negative stars if I could!Experience was EXTREMELY POOR & I’ll never return or recommend this facility. I came to have a well women’s exam and during my Pap smear at least 3 times my service was interrupted with someone without knocking opening the door during my examination, while I was FULLY exposed (unclothed with my vagina out and the curtain wide open). My PA had attempted 3 different scalpels and on the last one closed the clamps extremely fast causing a sharp cramp with no empathy for the mistake. After about 30 mins of attempting to do my Pap smear and making a ton of excuses on why she was having issues she said she needed to bring in a more experience doctor! (The doctor completed my pap in literally ONE MINUTE)Not to mention when I first came in they couldn’t find my chart (I’ve been there in the past about 2 yrs ago). The PA was really rude and kept rolling her eyes and getting frustrated with me while trying to ask me questions during my pap while I’m trying to breathe and focus on remaining calm and comfortable. I was told leaving out I’d be getting birth control and plan B but wasn’t given anything but a general packet. The PA was clearly inexperience ! Only thing positive about the experience was the receptionist at the front who checks you in.
I read these reviews and can hardly believe them, Ive gone here several times over the years, and everyone here is always so nice, respectful, and really cares about me. They always give good information and treat me with respect
If you dont have money, dont set up an appointment with these people. because even when you cancel it, you will still get reminder phone calls, texts and emails for Gods sakes. Im not sure how many times it takes it to cancel but Ive already canceled this appointment three times
Great staff very kind, caring, and attentive. They follow up with you and seem very dedicated. Felt like I was in very good hands
I am told that I qualify for the assistance from planned parenthood and only have to pay half the bill. I pay the bill that day before the doctor sees me and I receive emails and a piece of mail saying that they added on a 1000 procedure fee? If I would have known youd add that I would have handled it myself in anyway possible. I dont have that money, thats why I came to you and thats why I qualified for assistance with you?
The last time I went here was in February of 2020 when I was denied access to healthcare. Arriving there as soon as the office had opened, there were two ladies (who looked white) at the check-in desk. I was in so much pain due to my reproductive system cramping and it was hard for me to walk. But I still waited in line until it was my turn. They said that they had a new policy stating appointment only and no walk-ins allowed anymore. For years, they accepted walk-ins according to their slogan - Care No Matter What. They still took my i.d. to begin checking me in. One of the ladies was still lying to me and complained that I looked like I was in too much pain trying to force me to go to the emergency room only. I barely had any money and had been supporting Planned Parenthood for over 12 years.I couldnt believe that I was treated this way and was given the excuse from complaining to them on their Facebook Page about how busy they were and booked with appointments. The waiting room was empty and there was only 3 of us females waiting in line. They still kicked me out and refused to provide me with medical healthcare. Later on, I tried booking an appointment for emergency contraception and couldnt get one that would fit my schedule. I was denied again. They do not care and do deny access to women in need.
I got the Nexplanon Feb 2020 and was told from plan parenthood from dr Kim that’s it’s 5 years not 3 . I called the nexplanon number and they said no it’s only 3 years . I go to the office to ask for it to be removed and the front desk lady named Karen was so unprofessional and rude . Told me I’m wrong and refused to give me any help . My boyfriend even talked to the manager since he’s an EMT and they were just rude and kept denying that we are wrong about the Nexplanon. I had 2 miscarriages due to this implant and they had no care in the world . Im defected and want everyone who goes here to be aware .
I went here to get birth control because I’m without insurance and needed a new rx and refill. I tried to get a quote prior to my visit, unsuccessfully. Showed up for my appt and asked the pricing for the visit. I’m told $200 just to be seen, not including any additional testing or care, or the birth control. I simply said heartbroken, i can’t afford that please cancel my appt. I was handed my ID back and cancelled. No one offered financial aid, alternative options, nothing. I left thinking, great I guess because I’m 36 i could just get pregnant and it not be a big deal, right? (Sarcasm). I went back the next day and complained because my niece, much younger than me, said they would have financial aid. Why wasn’t it offered to me? They just gave a ton of excuses. I am still without birth control and have been bleeding and clotting for a month now as my body withdrawals. It’s difficult to work and function when I’m bleeding through everything. I’m throwing up from fatigue, and having major pain throughout my body from my hypermobility being worse during menstration from relaxin hormones. Dislocating my ribs and disc issues in my back from the extra relaxin hormones. So not having birth control for me, is more than just a pregnancy prevention. It’s what helps my body function better during the relaxin flareups. Thanks planned parenthood for not taking care of this WOMAN and her fertility/health needs.
Called to make an appointment for my wife. She is suffering from what the ER said was late stage 2 to early stage 3 prolapse but they would not diagnose her at the ER. Was recommended to call planned parenthood. Called them and explained the entire situation to the scheduling lady. Prolapse, ER trip, stage 2 to 3 etc etc. Was told they had a last minute opening for Wednesday today at 11. My wife showed up at the appointment and was told by the doctor they could not see her because they did not do anything with prolapse at the office... after the scheduling lady and office said they did offer those services. Poor communication and trash doctors/office staff. Will not be back and will be submitting a complaint due to the danger of the misinformation we were given.
Miss Taylor was so incredibly nice, I came in to get my Nexplanon replaced and was super nervous, being my first time getting it replaced. That ended super quick, because the entire time I was in there, the Nurse was incredibly kind, (I don’t remember her name, but she has long brown braided hair.) and answered every question I had without judgment. Then when miss Taylor was in there, we were laughing (professionally of course) and just having a wonderful time. She was so incredibly kind, she popped in to let me know she didn’t forget about me, she just had to do one more thing before she saw me. So she kept me in the loop the entire time. She did the replacement super fast, and gave me proper instructions and advice for aftercare. She also gave me advice on my periods, and my concerns about my health. She was so incredible, I want her to be my female doctor everywhere, god bless her and her heart : ) Thank you Miss Taylor and the nurse for such an amazing visit! God bless!
Always have a great experiance when I come here! Thank you ladies for everything you do.
I came in to get an IUD and the woman that did it, Kat, felt like she was rushing to get through it. She was so rough and nothing about it was gentle, and the inattentiveness to the patient made me break down in tears after she left the room. I had also been waiting in the room for 10 minutes for someone to come in while I was sitting on the table freezing.
The lady with the blonde hair, Julie. Not helpful. Wrong line of work. Maybe you should work in an emergency center with all that attitude. Ruined the entire process for me especially when I was respectful and nice when I walked in. She still works here? Yikes. 100% shouldn’t be working with pregnant women. And the black woman is worse. Need a whole new staff. Everyone is rude no one cares and they don’t! From receptionist to nurse practitioner! Maybe its my skin color. They treat you like they have someone else thats better to take care of. I ended up telling them its not hard to be nice. It doesn’t take much effort.
Really fantastic folks working at this place. The front desk person was very kind and used my chosen name (rather than my legal name), their health questionnaire was excellent in terms of gender inclusion, and I felt well cared for. The NP was fantastic with consent, which is not always the case with doctors. Overall very pleased with my experience and grateful for Planned Parenthood as an institution providing much needed gynecological care.
Absolute trash. They called me 20 hours before my appointment to cancel because a provider wouldnt be in the office that day. Some appointments are time sensitive, they should have more than one provider or they need to open more locations. This one is already an hour drive from my house and I had to plan my entire day around the appointments, only for them to cancel last minute.
I was upset about my birth control pills being changed and went in to see my other options. I was informed of everything that was out there and felt like I made a great choice that I feel comfortable with. They were also able to set me up with it same day which I didn’t expect. All the staff were so nice and made me feel like I made the right choice.
I always go in the afternoon after work but I have never waited any more than 10 minutes. I get my annual check up there. I like that they can give me my birth control right then and there. I dont have to go to a pharmacy. After that first dose, my prescription is sent to me in the mail every month. Everyone was friendly and the facility was clean and quiet.
They have really gotten better with their wait times this year I was waited 15 min after my scheduled appointment time and then once roomed maybe an additional 10 min after seeing a nurse to be seen by a doctor. The front desk staff are not rude but definitely not friendly theyre just kind of there no smiles and not real welcoming. The waiting area is clean, small parking area but was empty when I arrived.
I go here for my birth control, and love it until I have to have my yearly visit. Every year for the last 4 years I have had to wait over an hour to be seen. Its extremely annoying if you have places to be afterwards, so just plan to spend your whole afternoon sitting in the waiting room. Besides that Ive never had a problem with any of the staff, they are always very nice and professional. The doctors are always caring. I recommend going here if you dont mind the wait.
If I could give zero stars!! Almost want to press charges for medical negligence! The person Kat likes to tell people they cant have ultrasounds based on her own opinion. Then gaslights them causing mental anguish and says if they commit suicide it wouldnt be her fault.
This is not the place for a parent that is very involved in their childs life and doing everything they can to help their child do what is right for them, to be taken!! They completely exclude you and wont even give your child a choice to have you come back so you can help them understand their choices!! Complete uncooperative and rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! WHOS PROVIDING THE DANG INSURANCE YOU PEOPLE ARE BILLING??? 🙄
Worst place ever. Went here with my friend for an appointment. They kicked me out and chastised her and made fun of her when she came in. She was super nervous and asked to bring me along and when she asked they said “how old are you” in which she replied 20 and they responded with “Your old enough to go on your own”. They were so rude and never asked how she was doing once and she was traumatized from this experience. Don’t ever go here!!!
Showed up early & waited nearly an hour past my scheduled apt time to be seen. Staff is not at all welcoming, were very condescending & seem to need immediate sensitivity (re)training in serving rape survivors. It is unacceptable for me to leave a PP so triggered. If you can, just drive to Federal Way or Tacoma, it will save you a lot of discomfort.
Ive been visiting this planned parenthood for 2 years now and they are completely fantastic! They tell you about all different kinds of birth control and what may be best for you based on your age and all sorts of other physical factors. They accept state Insurance and are always completely friendly!
I love planned parent hood have been getting my birth control for a while now but they do need to change how they handle urine testing in the front is honestly embarrassing although I know its a judge free zone the other people can clearly see me holding a urine cup and I guess there is a new thing where they make you piss in a cup when you been on Depo for over a year and half. Have them pee in the back if your doing tests or ask them what they prefer to do and put it on our sheets so that way no one has to feel uncomfortable especially the patient. Also need to work on times been waiting 40 minutes for a Depo shot
Been taking care if be since I was 17. I was a homeless student, and didnt have insurance. They had me fill out some paperwork, and took care of me. 5 years later Im still going to them for any reproductive care. Now that I am insured and can afford to go to the doctors, I love helping contribute to the program that helped me when I could afford it, and nervous because I didnt know what to do inregards to birth control, testing, and wellness exams
They advertise for reproductive health care. I came in for reproductive health care. All I needed was an ultrasound for confirmation that I do or do not have PID, ovarian cysts, or ectopic pregnancy. They turned me away saying they dont perform ultrasounds. I know thats a lie because Ive been there before for ultrasounds.
Absolutely impossible to get ahold of them over the phone to ask a question of any kind. You get put on hold for half an hour and get to make a whole drive down there to ask the one question that wouldve been answered had someone just picked up the phone! Its unprofessional and extremely frustrating, if you have other options go there. This place is useless.Edit: the entire drive was worthless because as I thought I wasnt able to get anything other than my question answered. They made me waste gas and time driving all the way down there to ask them a question in person like its the 1800s because they cant answer the phones.
Ive been going here for 6 years now and the staff is so nice and professional. They have always helped me out and do the best to make sure Im comfortable and taken care of during visits. Usually I wait long because theyre always busy but today I got in super smooth.
Kat is so incredibly sweet! She really listens to her patients and truly cares. I’ve always had such a friendly and welcoming experience coming here.
Overall I got what I needed and the nurse was lovely...but I had to call in late for work and waited 47 minutes passed my scheduled time to be seen. Makes me wonder why I even bothered scheduling an apt a week prior!!! Ugh, not happy.
I’ve been here before to get the NuvaRing as my birth control and everything seemed to be fine, so I decided to come back and get Plan B today March 31st around 3 PM, I was greeted by a black woman just like myself and she asked me to cover my nose which I can’t because I actually have four nose piercings and the last 2 times I covered my nose with my mask it ripped out some of my nose piercings and caused me to bleed all over the floor, so I did decline her offer to cover my nose and I told her exactly why which I thought that she would understand but she was a brick wall, then she tried to give me another mask as if It was going to change anything as well as that this was the exact same mask that ripped out my first nose piercing and I declined her offer again, I said no again because I have a nose piercings it’s not going to matter which one I have they’re going to be ripped out! she still refused to understand, it was like talking to a brick wall once again and so she refused me service so then another lady took me and asked the same thing even though I already repeated it 5-6 times prior, not to just the black lady but five people in total and she heard it, it was annoying I was only there to get one pill, just one! but they were trying to make it a bigger issue than it really had to be she didn’t tell the other people she was working with why I couldn’t put the mask on she just said that I was refusing to listen/ refusing to take a mask but she didn’t tell them what I said, so then another lady asked me the same thing and that’s when they all heard me but they still refuse to understand, it was very unprofessional and very childish for the black woman to act as if I didn’t tell her why I couldn’t or act as if I wasn’t trying to at least wear a mask I had one on I just couldn’t put it over my nose, some people don’t know how to mind there business.
Karen was amazing!! She deserves a promotion:)) very educational and thoughtful and caring person!!!
Very kind people! They were very respectful and made sure that I was comfortable and heard the whole time. They got me in quickly and didn’t rush me, answered all of my questions and were very knowledgeable.
Great experience. Amazing staff. Was just there to get an implant removed. They made me feel so comfortable about the procedure.
Super understaffed. Been wit planned parenthood since the first time I needed to get anything. This is the only place that literally makes you wait for anything for awhile. And I cannot be the only one whos been complaining.
Took the time off work to be an appt, they didn’t call me back to see a doctor until 55 MINUTES after my scheduled time and I saw the doctor for maybe 7 minutes before she sent me on my way. The wait time was garbage.
Everyone was really nice. I went in scared and they reassured me and were really understanding. I went in for a birth control and I felt completely comfortable.
I went for a medical abortion & would recommend 100% everyone was so nice and informative, i felt extremely comfortable and would definitely go back!!
I went in concerned about my birth control and wanting it fixed. I sat there for about 5-10 minutes while the doctor and nurse laughed at me and then questioned why I was actually coming in, until they told me I could leave.
I had an appointment showed up early and waited.. They had me waiting a hour in the waiting room past my appointment, and three other ladies came in 35 minutes after me and one got brought back right away yet I still waited.. The nurse who brought me back was very rude and just judge mental towards me for the reason I came in then told me it would only be a few more minutes.. 45 minutes later still no one.. This place is horrible and Im very disappointed that a hour at the most appointment ending up taking up my entire day off almost and lasted 4xs longer than it should.. If you come here dont plan for anything afterwards cuz you will miss it..
Very nice people caring & positive attitudes good bed side manner is always a plus
Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I’ve never really had an easier time having my healthcare needs met!
Overall a positive experience for daughter and I. The wait time was way to long. 2.5 hours and 55 minutes was waiting to be called back
The two ladies in the front are not helpful at all. Never coming back to this place. I have better experience at other locations.
Got called back an hour past my apt time. Then got undressed and waited even longer in the room. No wonder when they take your blood pressure its high.
Never go there when the sun DR Willie O Hunt is working. She is a idiot and rude.
Awesome center, no worries
Easy. Got everything I needed.
Amazing experience.
