The 2 star review has nothing to do with the MDs or nurses, All the interaction have been great but they do not have the resources to keep up with patient needs. When I was pregnant my doctor told me 3 months in advance that she was leaving the clinic & Id be seeing a different MD. I had called multiple times to try to get my appts scheduled a head of time because i was due in 3 months & they kept telling me they didnt know who was going to be delivering my baby until last minute & I only got to meet the MD the month of delivery. Plus the whole postpartum appts were a mess Specially when I had a complication from the Csection. It was all stressful... I have a lot to say but bottom line they do not have the resources to keep up with the needs of patients. Hope they change this.
Am so amazed at all the bad reviews and i wish i had checked before getting onboard with them . Am currently 35wks pregnant and almost having my baby and been calling and texting my chart for Amanda the ARNP who hasn’t been helpful at all to check my lab results for my iron. From my first results she had recommended ferrous sulfate which i can tolerate and thus when i saw Robinson who was very helpful she requested an iron panel that showed very low iron and nobody has addressed anything and it’s a wk now. I have a scheduled CS and am worried but hopefully am praying to God for a safe delivery coz am just stressed out. Planning take the results the ER or something. Had a very helpful care team back in texas with my first baby and i thought that will be the case coz this is America.
Ive never had to wait too long to see the provider.Very kind, caring and helpful.I would definitely recommend coming here for your medical needs.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful. From the minute I walked in the door and signed in with the receptionist, to the medical assistant Liam taking vitals and getting updates from me before seeing the provider, to my appointment with the ARNP Amanda - I really can’t recommend this place enough for your women’s health needs.
I have loved working with the Multicare Womens center, specifically the midwife team. The midwives I worked with during my first pregnancy were incredible! So attentive, kind, caring, and really just took the time to be with me and also make me feel comfortable. My birth with them was amazing at Good Samaritan as well. I liked them so much I have recommended them to others and am also using them for my next pregnancy.
I really love this office. The staff are friendly and helpful. I go to the midwives and they are attentive and take time with me and are happy to answer all of my questions. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is scheduling is the worst! With my other pregnancies I could schedule out my whole pregnancy, but here they only schedule a few months out so I was constantly making new appts at whatever time was available instead of times that were better for my schedule.
The staff at Multicare Women’s Center are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly compassionate and supportive. From the receptionists who always greeted me with a smile to the nurses who made me feel comfortable during each visit, every member of the team played a crucial role in making my experience positive and memorable for both my pregnancies. However, it is the midwife Shannon Moore who truly stands out. Her expertise, dedication, and genuine passion for her work are evident in every interaction. She took the time to listen to my concerns, ease any anxieties, and continually encourage me through a hard pregnancy. I am forever grateful for her exceptional skills and knowledge, which enabled a smooth and positive birth experience for both my deliveries. She went above and beyond, even staying after her shift was over to catch my second daughter. Shannon embodies the essence of what it means to be a caregiver. Her genuine care and commitment to the well-being of both mother and baby is truly inspiring. To all the expecting parents out there, I wholeheartedly recommend Shannon and her team. She is a true professional who will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible birthing experience.
It’s taken me a year to post a review - but I would recommend trying another office if you have the option. My concerns like other reviewers have posted were blown off. I asked about abnormal swelling and high blood pressure at every visit , knowing that the numbers were high for me. They repeatedly told me it was fine, and never did any testing. At 37 weeks I took my blood pressure at home that was through the roof and called and they said I guess you need to go to the hospital since you’re pushing the issue though they thought it was fine still… and kept asking why would I take my own BP. After being admitted they found I had preeclampsia and then all of a sudden it was an emergency to deliver right then and be induced. All in all it ended in a c section by choice because I had no faith in them after being induced for a week with no progress. They didn’t hear my concerns, made me feel stupid, and talked down to me. I will say the exception to this was Shannon Moore, she is kind and spoke much nicer than the other providers, but Alison was very condescending at appointments and their older female OB surgeon used scare tactics to try and talk me out of having a c-section saying I could die. Not the best bedside manner when I was already stressed being in a hospital for a week! I almost didn’t want to have any more children because of my experience with them, but will find another provider.
All we got from this clinic is bad outcome. My wife scheduled appointment in 2 months and she never remembered that she has an appointment because it’s in 2 months. When she scheduled the appointment she told them please make sure I get reminder so I don’t forget because we know no one will remember an appointment in 2 months. They never sent an appointment l reminder. She wanted to schedule again and it’s going to be in 2 months ahead. I don’t think this people care for their patients to show up or not.
The most ridiculous place in the world, where they dont give any value, they give you time to others, then they dont inform you that they will cancel your time. I just wanted to have a heart attack because of these people
I highly recommend avoiding this office at all costs. Extremely disrespectful behavior from the staff. If I could get them 0 stars I would. Never ever will stepping foot in MultiCare system.Way better choice out there if you need to get care.
I hated going to this doctor Kourtnee Lindgren immediately after 2 visits I felt insulted and discouraged also. She didnt listen to my requests about how I wanted to have my baby. Also when I wanted to get a gender reveal ultrasound she scheduled an ultrasound that would have no accurate results on getting the gender. She also wanted to make me do testing that I thought was unnecessary due to having children in the past. Felt like she just wanted to get out of the appointments and not listen to me. She also insulted my weight and my past pregnancy issues that affected my medical issues. I immediately found a different doctor since I didnt feel like I could trust her at all.
I had an appointment at 3:30, I was running late due to Rain and traffic. I tried to call to let them know but there’s not direct line so it was hard. The lady at the front desk was nice. But, the nurse who was doing an ultra sound made it clear she was mad I was late. She had an attitude and was being sarcastic. At that point, I was done and just wanted to leave. Then she said, “make sure to be in the room at the time of your next appointment. That’s when the nurse is supposed to see you.” She’s not my usual nurse and I hope I don’t see her again.
I showed up for my appointment only to be told my midwife was being sent home bc she had a runny nose so was “displaying covid symptoms”. They had me wait an additional 20-30 mins thinking I would be seeing a different midwife only to call me up to reschedule. I took an hour plus to drive to the appointment and my husband took time off work, completely unprofessional and if we were to cancel like that they’d charge us for it. I understand people get sick, they can’t control that, and I hope our midwife feels better, but really the sniffles and no one to cover for her?
I’ve been coming to the Women’s Center Sunrise since late 2018. I saw Dr. Lindgren for my gyno stuff and during the process which me and my my husband were trying to get pregnant with our first child. I addressed my concerns to Dr. Lindgren after 3 months of trying that we still weren’t pregnant (being that I was young and had no underlying health issues) and she assured me that it takes a while for our bodies to adjust after being on birth control for so long, and that if we reached 1 year and still no baby we could discuss further treatment.I ended up pregnant the following month and saw Dr. Lindgren for my first pregnancy. I also saw 2 midwives toward the end of my first pregnancy (Kristina Dubow & Shannon Lee-Moore) all 3 of these ladies were very pleasant to work with and very kind. When it came time for delivery Kristina ended up being the one to deliver my son, with the help of Dr. Mitchell (who is also super nice) in case I needed an emergency c-section. It was really great that I got a provider I was familiar with to deliver my child, cause just the thought of having someone you don’t know well, or at all, delivering your baby can be unnerving.I’m now pregnant with our second child and I have been seeing Shannon as my midwife this time around because I just loved her the one time I saw her with my first pregnancy (I was very determined to get on her schedule no matter what). I highly recommend this facility to expecting mothers!
The front desk and even the doctors assistant were extremely accommodating & attentive and I greatly appreciate them for that. However, Dr. Lindgren was an absolute disappointment. She paid no attention to my concerns and almost gave me no exams since I had them done in 2018. I had my exam done in Arizona and have been without solid insurance up until a couple months ago. I’ve been nervous/ anxious to get to the OBGYN to check up on my health. I clearly came in concerned and expressed those concerns only for her to dismiss my feelings entirely and not give me any helpful information.I would look elsewhere for an OBGYN or another doctor at this facility. If you’re looking for a kind doctor who cares thoroughly, do NOT see Dr. Lindgren.
Shannon Moore is the absolute best midwife. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend. She and her staff helped make our labor and birth experience absolutely amazing. My husband and I can not say enough good things about Shannon and our experience with her. We will definitely go back to her with our next pregnancy!
It was my first time here but I had a really positive experience. My appt was at 1:15 but I was checked in by 1:05- they did say to arrive 10-15 mins early. Everyone was on time and professional. I really liked Amanda Holen. She was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.
Dr Mitchell is the best OB/GYN I have ever been to. He takes his time to explain things to make sure you understand them. He listens to your concerns and tries his best to address them. He is also friendly! Shannon Moore is great! I have seen her for OB appointments and for lactation consult. She is knowledgeable and polite. I know someone commented about the lunch hour....but come on, if thats all you have to complain about, you must be bored. I have needed to talk to someone during that hour and they do have a nurse line during that time. Its no big deal scheduling appointments around their lunch time since its the same everyday.
I highly recommend avoiding this office at all costs. I kept telling the nurses I was having a lot of contractions and they blew me off. I even went in for it and she didnt even check me knowing I had preterm labor with my last pregnancy and had my prior baby at 37 weeks. I was brushed off left confused told I was fine and everything was normal the next day my water broke at I was 21w.5d. I was sent to Good Sam to get checked and they confirmed I had ruptured. Good Sam was a joke also and I had to be 22 weeks to get into TG. Thankfully they were able to get into TG and they saved my life and my babies life. DO NOT GO TO THIS WOMENS CENTER there is absolutely no patient care. It has taken me over a year to post how horrible they were. I hope I save a babies life or a womans life from this place by this post! Run
My first OB appointment was less than acceptable. Not only was the doctor running 45 minutes late so that my appointment was cut short, but instead of receiving a full appointment including an ultrasound, I was sent to Diagnostic Imaging for the sake of (their) time. At this point I was happy to be moving on from the appointment. That was, until I received another bill from Diagnostic Imaging that I would not have otherwise owed had the Womens Center done their job that I already paid for. Nonetheless, I have found a new OB and will not be returning. Its ridiculous that this is their process of dealing with patients when theyre running late.
Everyone is very nice, especially the receptionists who are always so sweet and helpful. However all throughout my pregnancy, which was my first baby, I saw a midwife who wasn’t as helpful. My appointments only lasted about 10-15 minutes and I would be asked if I have any questions but I had no idea what questions to ask it being my first time through this. When I did have questions I just had a pamphlet handed to me and told to go home and read. Also I was hardly ever told my measurements and when I was getting checked to see if I was dilated, twice my midwife didn’t seem to take care in how it was done, it hurting so bad I had to ask her to stop but when I saw a different midwife she was much more gentle and i barely felt it. When I went into labor and was at good sams, my midwife who was at the hospital while I was there never once stopped in to see me and wasn’t there for the birth of my daughter... so why did I even bother with a midwife at all?
Do not go to this place, very unprofessional!! I’m pregnant and this was my first time going to this office I live 30 minutes away. I was going to be about 10 minutes late BECAUSE I’m pregnant and wasn’t feeling good I called them twice with no answer, then received a phone call from the SAME number I had tried calling them on to ask where I was. They don’t have a direct phone number which is unprofessional within itself. Not only was the front desk lady rude as can be with a lack of empathy and turned me away, but apparently my doctor refused to see me as well. I thought pregnancy was a high priority, well not here. Because I was 3 minutes late past there “policy” they no longer cared about the health of me or my growing child.
I give the staff there 0 stars. after booking my appointment 3 weeks out to see Amanda J Holen. I was sent a letter and told over the phone just show up and ill be taken care of. I show up for my appointment today and the receptionist says sorry the nurse had been trying to reach you to get your medical history before your appointment and we can only do that over the phone which was 1 day before my appointment the nurse apparently tried to reach me but had no success why wait 1 day before my appointment i booked it 3 weeks out and how come at the time of booking with the scheduler individual did not even bother to take that info. the receptionist tries to ask a nurse if i could still be seen the nurse right infront of me says no you have to rebook her and they where trying to rebook me 3 more weeks out. unprofessional staff showed no consideration for how it took my own time to book ahead of time and to work with me since im there already .dont want to deal with unprepared staff members at multicare clinic in sunrise they cannot be trusted i feel they might have been racist in my opinion how i was just simply told sorry nothing i can do even if it was there mistake. i left without being seen and so upset i went to sound family medicine and i got in the next day no stupid mix up or cold hearted staff.
I have seen 2 providers here for 2 pregnancies. I am halfway through this pregnancy and cant believe how cold, uncaring, judgmental, and how poor the quality of care is. Kourtnee Lindgren and Amanda Holen are terrible providers. If you see them Im sorry because honestly everyone deserves better.
The front office staff was always kind and courteous, all the nurses and medical assistants as well. And I loved Dr. Kourtnee Lindgren! Dr. Lindgren is young, intelligent, up to date on techniques/protocols, and very easy to talk to. This was my first pregnancy and it was high risk due to high blood pressure/preeclampsia. Dr. Lindgren handled my situation by taking every precautionary step necessary throughout the whole pregnancy, which I’m totally thankful for. I ended up having an early emergency c-section and was absolutely terrified, but Dr. Lindgren’s reassurance and trustworthiness helped me get through it, and she delivered our beautiful baby girl. Thank you Dr. Lindgren!!!
Dr. Lindgren and Emily are so wonderful. Made me feel like a person and not just a patient. I never felt rushed and all of my questions always got answered.
Kourtnee M Lindgren made me feel very invalid. She made my medical PTSD worse. The idea of even having a family is completely off the table. She not understanding of any of my issues. This was very uncomfortable and didnt feel safe after talking with this Doctor.
I went to my appointment with an open mind. I was scheduled with an Ob that my pcp hadn’t originally referred me to, because that one wasn’t accepting new patients.I went in for endometriosis diagnosis and the doctor said she doesn’t do surgery for the first line of treatment, that she uses other methods and surgery is last.Uhhh... you can’t diagnose endometriosis unless you go in and look. She was reccomending birth controls and medications that put you in menopause. Without actually knowing if endometriosis was the cause of the issues! Red flag. Then she does an exam, and without doing any swabs, or urine tests, she orders an antibiotic. Says that “MIGHT help the problem, probably not, but it’s best to rule out”.Fast forward to me taking the first dose of antibiotic... I start having an diverse reaction to it. The pamphlet the pharmacy attaches to your prescription said “seek medical attention” for the side effects I was having. So I call her. Her nurse calls back and tried telling me that the doctor said those side effects aren’t associated with this antibiotic so to still take my second dose later that night, just eat dinner first. My reaction got worse within an hour after that phone call and I ended up in the emergency room. The staff there could not comprehend why this doctor even gave me the antibiotic. They did tests and confirmed there was no reason for it AND that it’s a major red flag she prescribed it without running any tests herself. THEN told me it was another red flag that she told me my reaction wasn’t associated with the antibiotic and said to continue taking it anyways.I wasn’t going to say anything, but honestly I hope nobody else has to deal with that type of care. I’ve spoken to a few medical professionals since then and every one of them agreed she did not handle it professionally or well what so ever. Thankfully, I’ve found another doctor that specializes in endometriosis treatment.Kourtnee Lindgren - watch out with her.The only reason why this got 2 stars instead of 1 was because her nurse that got me checked in at my appointment was extremely nice and easy going.
Shannon Moore and all the staff here have always been so amazing. Going through my first pregnancy and delivering with Shannon was a dream. Would definitely recommend her to everyone.
Waste of my time ..i went in because Im having problems doctor basically looked at me like I was a fool. Didnt do any kind of check up. Said if Im having fertility problems I should do to a fertility clinic I said we dont have money for that she then said well then you do have money to even have a baby because they cost just as much. Nope Uh not even. thats not even the same thing. I walked out feeling even more defeated and I wont ever be going back .
I will try goin back to this place but i absolutely REFUSE to see Dr Mitchell and i cant believe his license was never revoked for what he did. HOPEFULLY i will have a much better experience with one of the other doctors in their office and i will give an update
If I could give them 0 stars I would. They dont listen, they are not helpful, and they are not accommodating. Ive had to make two appointments instead of one every time I have gone because they make an appointment for something I did not ask for and then dont have time for what I called and made the appointment for.
Staff is all super nice, they answer their phones in a timely manner & offer quality care. I have been coming here for years & have always had great experiences.
The ladies who schedule the appointments were very rude, spoke to me like I was a child and made me feel like I was not important. I am not debating on going ALL the way to the Tacoma location, I have not even been seen yet and I already had a bad experience!
New Dr made a mistake on the directions for medication and when pharmacy attempted to contact them with no response, the response I get is we understand that this is important but we wont get to it until tomorrow.Bad Business!!
Says theyre open at 8am but THEYRE NOT! I tried to call them because I was advised to do so when I got discharged at the ER yesterday and was told they opened at 8am. But according to their phone system theyre open at 8:30, change yalls times so people dont get confused !!!!
Dr. Mitchell delivered all 3 of my kids. He is amazing and I absolutely recommend him!
Dr. Mitchell is amazing! He really takes the time too listen and finds the answers. Highly recommend him.
Doctor is always running late. Staff are friendly but useless. No wonder this place has a high turn over rate.
I dont like how theres an hour gap in wich you cant schedule an appointment or be seen because there out on lunch i understand when you work lunch is mandatory but ok
Caring and personable staff. Clean facility. Nice campus.
Really good customer service try and work with you and get you in best they can with what works for you
Good experience recommend this women’s center.
