It’s taken me almost one year after my first delivery to write this review, because being a patient at WakeMed OB/GYN has truly, and unfortunately, been a traumatic experience. I was so mistreated during my prenatal appointments, labor and delivery, and postpartum visits that I am still working through the trauma - especially from labor & delivery. I was yelled at on the phone by Dr. Fashakin when I called with questions while I was laboring at home, and I was bullied by Dr. McLawhorn in L&D at WakeMed North into Pitocin and cervical checks. I had to decline both multiple times while she was staring me down. It felt as if she was trying to rush my labor so she could deliver before the end of her shift, when both baby and I were doing just fine. I also saw Dr. McLawhorn for my 16 week prenatal appointment where I complained of severe sciatica pain - to which she laughed, said it would only get worse, and provided no solution. I also saw her for an appointment postpartum due to diagnosed mastitis getting worse. She said she didn’t think it was infected but would order me an ultrasound “just in case.” She didn’t put a STAT order on the ultrasound, so I had to wait 2 more days to be seen. I ended up needing emergency surgery that day to get the abscess drained. Borderline malpractice? Needless to say, I will be switching practices, and my advice is to steer clear of WakeMed OB/GYN if you want to be treated with any kind of respect. Stand up for yourselves and your babies, mamas, especially during the precious times of pregnancy, L&D, and postpartum.
Start giving patients the option to cancel their appointments if the doctor is running an hour behind. Patients time is just as valuable as the doctor’s time, let’s change this thought process that patients just need to wait. A patient that arrives early, should be seen on time, and if not, have the courtesy to say y’all are running behind. Losing patients due to poor time management is the fault of the office manager.
I have lived with sinus problems my whole life. Almost like clockwork, I would get a sinus infection during the spring time, and maybe another later in the year. I thought it was something I was not managing well, maybe there was a medication or lifestyle change that would help. Glad I went to the Triangle Sinus Center. Aside from the helpful staff, the doctors care and bring expertise.Working with Dr. Mazhar, we identified that my sinuses were narrower than normal and I had a very bad deviated septum. Turns out my body was not equipped to handle my allergies and congestion.Together we put a plan together and I went through with the Balloon Sinuplasty. Now, I won’t sugar coat it, the procedure itself was not an issue, they make you very comfortable and have skilled staff. The recovery was rough, but only for about a week or so. Has more to do with the fact that you can’t blow your nose for about a week. That said, the office continued to stay in contact and I made sure to follow the plan to recovery. Following the plan was the key to success.Looking back, I wish I had known about this procedure sooner, because I definitely would have gone through with it. I am over 4 months out now and this is the first year I have not had a sinus infection. So if my story resonates with you, reach out to the Triangle Sinus Center.
Excellent staff! I attended this office while I was pregnant with my 2 younger children. I was treated with respect and kindness. All the providers and nursing staff were great! Dr. Vu ( my favorite), Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Cameron, Dr. Evans, Dr. Jarvis, Dr. McLawhorn... I can go on and on. Just fantastic and personable staff and I am appreciative of their expertise. Highly recommend this practice!
8 months ago, I scheduled their earliest available appointment for this morning. When I called for the address, I was told that the rheumatology department has been closed since September. No one called me. I never received a letter. I did not get any referrals. I was just dropped. This whole time, I could have looked for another rheumatologist. Calling for an appointment now will have me on a wait list of at least 6 months. I weighted 8 months and looked forward to my appointment to this morning. I am very angry that no one contacted me. It is a lack of respect.
First time pregnancy, Very nice helpful i like how they rotate their obs, so when you deliver you know all the nurses!!Love this place, Gave 4 stars because some doctors i just didnt feel comfortable around, but you can always schedule with a different person if you do not prefer a certain doctor.
Nurse was rude and scared me a bit. Doctor did not follow up at the end of the appointment to ask of I had questions but rushed out the door. Poor service experience. Got what I needed, I guess.
Dr Amantia Kennedy (Ob-Gyn) is the great doctor. I like her a lot due to her friendly and polite attitude and trust her 100% due to her knowledge and professionalism. I use to see Dr Kennedy for around 6-7 years and I can say - she is great!. I saw Dr Amantia at both locations: North Raleigh Campus and at Brier Creek location. Staff and nurses at both lications are very polite and competent. I have only nice experience with them. Thank you, Dr. Kennedy, and WakeMed OB-GYN offices staff.
During my entire pregnancy my doctors made me always feel so welcomed. A lot of my nurses were very rude during my visits but sometimes I would have amazing ones that made me feel cared for and taken care of. I had the WORST delivery experience with them and this was my first child. When I arrived at the hospital my nurse caring for me throughout the night blew 5 veins in my arms and hands ( my veins are big and not hard to stick or find). She proceeded to give me antibiotics that I was allergic to and was on my list as cannot have. I was swelling up and my throat was closing and she asked me what to give me to make my allergic reaction stop. She still did nothing and it was time for me to push during shift change, after delivering my daughter, I had a fever of 102 and was not able to breathe another nurse had to administer medicine through my iv because my nurse failed to do so. They also lost all my newborns records or never put them in the chart so I had to take her to another doctor to redue all her newborn screening test. I had my post partum visit scheduled and had to reschedule due to having the flu and step, they told me it would be another 3 months before I could be seen. I recommend going somewhere/anywhere else to deliver and have your baby. Also this was just my experience not everyone else’s, some of the nurses and doctors are amazing.
I had hysterectomy surgery at Wakemed North in Nov 2022. Every single person I encountered from check-in to surgery to recovery to my overnight stay were fantastic and helped me either to feel better or relieve some of my fears and anxiety. The hospital is very clean, it’s kind of quiet and calm too. The room I stayed in was quite comfortable for a hospital room. My nurses and techs were so kind and attentive and patient with all my questions. Dr Crane is a miraculous surgeon, very compassionate, skilled and easy to speak with. My only complaint would be the food. Cold sandwiches were good, chocolate pudding and mashed potatoes were good but most of the time I was hungry! I had as best of an experience as one can have with a surgery. I had extreme anxiety before surgery and my nurses, intern drs and even the anesthesiologist were very compassionate and helped me with my fears.
Really over this OB office and unfortunately I can’t switch due to me being almost 7 months. It’s always the run around when you truly in need of something. So far out of all the providers I have see at this office I can say only 1 seems to have cared about my issues and concerns. Needs better bedside manners and build a little relationship with your patients. We as patients are trusting you all with our life and unborn life so the relationship should and could be better. The triage nurses aren’t much help and Sara is very rude most of the time. I will be so glad when my experience with this office is over and I have a safe delivery soon.
I started going to WakeMed OBGYN practice for my first pregnancy. I unfortunately started late with my prenatal care but everyone jumped on and caught me up to speed where I needed to be in prenatal care. Now 6 weeks later after having my son they still continue to do an amazing care. Dr. Kennedy not only delivered my son but still continues her amazing care even after. Today 7/29/20 I had my 6 week postpartum check up Megan B. took care of me throughout the appointment making sure my questions were answered and I was getting what I needed out of my visit. And as always Dr.Kennedy did her amazing work. She install my IUD and made sure I was comfortable. Thank you!!
I had a very bad experience with Dr. Vu. I had told intake that I wanted to come for my yearly exam and pap smear, but additionally wanted to discuss my migraines. If I explained it correctly to the intake specialist, then it didnt go through to the provider because I did not get an exam at all. They still charged me $94 for my concerns to be dismissed, to be treated rudely, and to merely be given a referral. When discussing my migraines, I told her the past month had been off. We *only* discussed one month of history. She said that my migraines did not sound hormonal because they would have been occurring on the first day of my period. Well, other than that one month, I went back in my calendar when I got home and discovered that they did indeed occur on the first day of my period every month. I have since learned that an ultrasound came back with masses that need to be addressed that account for the odd other symptoms, ones that I gave to the doctor but that she never discussed and never did a pelvic exam for. Despite telling her the treatment my previous doctor did and how much it helped, she insisted all I needed was a neurologist. That may be, and I have no problem seeing one, but I felt completely dismissed when trying to bring up the total of all my symptoms and the treatment that had made me feel better. A $94 charge for nothing but a referral to a neurologist by someone who refused to listen to me and never even did an exam.
Dr Benoit-Wilson has a wonderful bedside manner. She made me feel very comfortable talking with her about my concerns and she was very informative in providing alternatives to surgery. I will definitely recommend her to any woman that wants a DR that actually takes a few extra minutes to get to know you, before and after examining you. She’s amazing. I would also like to add that Megan her MA was quite informative and helpful prior to my seeing Dr Benoit-Wilson. They make a good team.
I just had my annual check up this week with Dr. Benoit-Wilson and she never ceases to amaze me! Every time I visit I leave feeling informed, and at ease knowing that I have received solid advice from a professional that truly cares about their patients. I wish I could say I felt that way with all of my doctors but I dont. Dr. Benoit-Wilson truly stands out among the rest. She is super professional and she takes the time out to really listen to her patients concerns and gives options for care that leave them feeling empowered by reviewing the pros and cons for each. Her staff is equally amazing, especially her assistant Megan B. She is a pleasant young lady and I enjoy talking with her as she thoroughly reviews my chart to prepare me for my visit. I have been a patient there for the past few years and every time I come I feel like I am among old friends that I am happy to catch up with. I would highly recommend this practice to any woman looking to find a GYN you can feel comfortable with and confident that you are getting the best care possible.
I started going to the practice in 2013 for my first pregnancy. I had my daughter in 2014. I had some struggles in the beginning where I thought things were not being handled appropriately and almost left at about 24 weeks. However, once I found providers I meshed with things got so much better. I mostly saw the midwives (one left) but Julie who is an absolute delight is still there and I had a wonderful experience the rest of the time. I loved the fact that I wasnt treated like a patient more so just like a pregnant lady (I did not have any complications). The best part was the birth of my daughter, I was at big Wake and had all my favorite providers with me until my birth which ended up being a c-section. I started with Dr. Kennedy, Julie, and Dr. Kim whos since left the practice delivered my daughter (ended up with a c-section after many hrs of labor). Im forever grateful to all of them for making what could have been a scary experience such a positive one. Im back with the practice and looking forward to another great experience.
Love this practice, especially Julie Stembridge! I see her for my annual exams and she makes an uncomfortable situation pleasant and takes the time to listen. Dr. Benoit-Wilson delivered my daughter 3 1/2 years ago via c-section. She was amazing and talked me through it the whole time to make me feel less anxious and was so sweet at my postpartum visit with me and my newborn! Everyone is so caring and makes you feel comfortable there. Would definitely recommend!
I was referred to this practice by my primary care provider due to an abnormal test result and symptoms of possible uterine cancer. The doctor herself was very good but the scheduling and office staff are condescending at best. I called to look into a mistake with a couple of prescriptions and scheduling the procedure for the biopsy that was recommended by the doctor. Both people I talked to sounded annoyed with my questions and concerns and talked over me in a very cold manner. As for scheduling, they wanted to wait over TWO MONTHS for a BIOPSY. When I expressed my concerns about waiting that long, especially with the severity of my symptoms, I was met with a condescending lecture about the importance of everyone elses appointments and excuses as to why they were so booked up. I understand that I am no more important than any other person there but testing for CANCER in a person experiencing symptoms severe enough to affect their daily activities should warrant some sort of priority status. Patients are obviously just a number at this practice.
Transferred care from another practice 2 months in pregnancy, big mistake. I have never felt more like a number in my entire life. Every 5 minute visit, my concerns were swept under the rug and I was told thats normal. ( this excludes Dr. Vu and Dr. Evans, the only two physicians that actually listened to me) I have worked in healthcare my entire life and understand what was happening with my care was subpar at best. I would steer clear and try to find a birthing center and doula if possible because this was a traumatic birthing experience I do not want to relive.edit* I just saw the response and honestly Im good, I have already told this entire story to the social worker part of WakeMeds traumatic birth program which I went through and this all still happened, so I do not want to follow-up and waste anymore of my time. Thank you.
Not only did this practice go above and beyond to get my transferred and all set at six months, but the other day I was seen by one of the OBs and his Medical Assistant was absolutely fantastic. Tiffany L made sure that I was well taken care of and took extra time out to go over some of the questions that I had forgotten to ask my awesome OB so that I left the appointment feeling very well-informed and secure. Another thing that caught me off guard was the diligence this team showed while caring for me. Not only that, but I finally settled on an OB to deliver my son and felt completely safe with her the second I met her. Dr Kennedy is absolutely wonderful and her nurse Miss Nancylee is super sweet as well. I never leave a visit feeling uneasy. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is super pregnant and anxious like I was to see someone new they are very wonderful. Thanks again you guys :)
Dr. Michele Benoit-Wilson and staff (especially Megan) are so good I actually almost enjoy my visits. I never feel rushed or unimportant. They do a great job making you feel comfortable and ensuring you don’t leave confused or without addressing all questions and concerns. The schedulers do a wonderful job making sure you always get in when needed and the front office gals are very friendly and professional.I highly recommend and have sent quite a few happy friends and family their way.
The absolute worst OBGYN! Prescribed me birth control while I was pregnant. Made me wait til I was in my second trimester for another appointment then tell me it was scheduled in error the day before and that they needed to reschedule. I do not recommend to anyone. Go somewhere else.
Outpatient/office visits during pregnancy: Very poor service. Doctors are always rushed and dont care. Appointment slots are always booked even though you are pregnant and need appointment. They dont fill out FMLA or leave forms properly or promptly (we have been trying for two months to get our FMLA form filled out). Very poor experience. Wish we never switched to this practice, we felt stuck near the end because it is hard to switch once you are near delivery date.Hospital experience (Labor and delivery, post partum): The hospital itself and nurses are great. We had a good delivery experience, which is why I gave it an extra star. But the outpatient office visits for 40 weeks before the delivery almost make the rest not worth the trouble. Shame because the hospital and nurses were great. Take that for what is is worth - good hospital experience, poor office visit experienceReview: Somehow my review keeps getting hidden. Shady practice that they can hide negative reviews. Ive had to post this 3 times
I have been going to this practice for a few years now. I found out I was expecting in early October but was told I could not come in until I was 8 weeks. Since this is a pregnancy after a silent miscarriage the front desk scheduled me to go have a ultrasound scan at Maternal fetal medicine a few days prior. Scan went well and I was excited and waiting on my first official prenatal appointment. I was disappointed I could not see my regular Dr.Kennedy as I have not seen anyone else in the office except her for years. Here is where it gets funky, I was seen by the CNM Dedra and she was the most nonchalant provider I have ever seen in my life. My only child is 11 years old so its been a while since I had a viable pregnancy. She only asked me did I have any questions. I explained my symptoms and she just looked at me with a blank stare. I had to ask repeatedly if these symptoms were normal or not. I was not given any information about what to expect during this pregnancy process or given a list of medications or foods I could not take like most doctor offices do. Im not sure if she assumed I knew everything since I already had a kid or she just didnt care. I had to ask twice for a welcome packet and I still feel very unprepared during this pregnancy as I am googling everything instead of feeling comfortable enough to ask the office. When you go through a silent miscarriage it makes you second guess your next pregnancy and causes a lot of anxiety and stress, I was not comforted at all and she left a very bad taste in my mouth. I will be either only requesting Dr. Kennedy from now on or seeing a new provider. Other than that, I love the office and dont have to wait long, but you most definitely have to initiate your own follow ups.
Love seeing Dr. Amantia Kennedy. She is very knowledge and truly cares about her patients. I am greatful to have found her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for great experience.
This was my second pregnancy and I have to say that this time around was fast and by far the best experience. Dr. Benoit-Wilson is such a sweet, intelligent and professional doctor. I highly recommend her. The rest of the staff are super nice as well. I am so happy that I found this group and look forward to having Dr. Benoit-Wilson as my gynecologist.
Absolutely LOVED the care I received while I was there for the birth of my sweet boy! I had a C section and a tubal ligation and was scared out of my mind but nurses and doctors calmed my fears tremendously. My son was born 2 weeks early and was placed in the special care nursery and his care was exceptional as well! Many thanks and much blessings to ALL of the staff (from nurses to doctors and dietary and environmental staff) at North Raleigh WakeMed!❤️
The office staff is courteous and caring. The nurses are friendly and compassionate. My doctor is Dr. Benoît-Wilson. I cant say enough god about her. Besides solving my medical problems she considerate and companionate. She listened to my concerns and complaints and answered all my questions. No matter how small. She did a procedures where I had a huge concern about bleeding. She went out of her way to make sure I was informed and comfortable. She treated me like a person, not a paycheck. More doctors should be like her. I would recommend her to everyone. She is the best.
Spoke with Jennifer a nurse here at this office several times today trying to get in contact with my doctor since Monday. Each time she was nice she had an attitude but said it with a smile. She essentially insinuated I was drug seeking. I have worked in hospitals and doctors offices as a healthcare professional for a decade now, my mom was a nurse, and I went to nursing school. I know exactly the wording a nurse or doctor uses when they think a patient is drug seeking. I have been doing an uphill battle for years trying to get my endometriosis diagnosed and under control but I live in delibating pain because of this, because this isnt managed. Yes Im in pain yes I am looking to be out of that pain ,when you have been living with this for years and have tried everything short of surgery to help and still no relief yes you are going to ask for the thing that does help. I have said constantly to many people if there is something else I can take other than pain medication that can help that I havent tried please let me know and I will try it. To be talked down to and looked at my chart to see yes I have been to the e.r twice in 16 days. I AM IN PAIN and on the behest of my primary care doctor urged to go, is downright degrading and mean. To be told well I cant make the doctor read her messages any quicker, you will be fine. Is outrageous. I am disappointed that a womens clinic, a nurse, to this day still disregards endometriosis as something that is not delibatingly painful. I would not go to this office ever again. I will be switching to a new organization this is completely awful to be treated this way as a patient.
I’ve had an amazing experience with both Dr. Benoit-Wilson and midwife, Dr. Dedra Sally. They’re both knowledgeable, understanding and demonstrate an impeccable level of professionalism. It’s obvious they care about their patients. They’re all-around GOOD. Dr. Sally is my absolute favorite; she’s always smiling, positive and willing to answer any and all questions I have without rushing or downplaying my concerns. Definitely recommend!
We were discharged within three hours of admission because my cervix had not changed enough for the doctor to believe I was in labor. Ended up in ER at Brier Creek for contraction pain, and they sent me back. The same Dr. was vocally unhappy I was back, but admitted me and told me the next shift Dr. would evaluate me to see if it was real labor. Apparently I was too Zen for them because Im not a screamer and handle pain really well.Im giving them a 4 rating because Dr. Kennedy reevaluated me, confirmed active labor, and delivered the baby within 2 1/2 hours without any unnatural inducement. She was amazing, and likely saved us from having a baby in the car.The nurses took really great care of me as well. It was just the one Dr. that I had a negative interaction with.
Today was my first visit to Wake Med. I am originally from Ct, and I’m switching to doctors in NC. My first doctors appointment was with Dr. Michele Benoit-Wilson, for symptoms of menopause, and I was NOT disappointed. I expected to be rushed do to the COVID pandemic. She took the times to go over every aspect of my health, and we came up with a plan to help me start feeling better. I felt at ease the moment I was greeted by the receptionist. Dr Benoit-Wilson’s assistant Megan treated me with kid cloves, as I’ve neglected my health for almost 10 years. They were more than professional, they were comforting.Michele C. McEwenYoungsville, NC
I would like to personally thank Dr. Foster, Dr. Kouri, Dr. Munoz and the entire team of physicians and nurses who cared for me during my hospitalization! I pray our dear Lord will bless and keep every single one of you now and forever! Your patient care was outstanding, I could not have been in better hands than with your team of pure excellence! ❤️
I absolutely LOVE Dr. Benoit-Wilson. She is an excellent physician and creates a personal relationship with you in order to give you the best care possible. I love her spirit because she is about the business as well as about me personally. She is very thorough and will continue to pursue and follow up on any concerns until she is satisfied with the results. I highly recommend her and the staff.
Dr. Bari Byrd is the BEST! She makes me feel so comfortable, and truly cares about my health/personal life. I never feel rushed with her, and always feel confident I will get the best care with her as my OB-GYN. I cant talk highly about her enough!
Highly recommend Dr. Roedner and nurse Megan B! Dr. R is the kindest, most thorough OBGYN Ive ever been to. She is attentive, caring, and takes the time to make your visit feel valuable. Megan was also amazing at guiding me through the appointment and making me feel welcome. Its nice to know a doctor and staff who care so deeply about womens health!!
I have had the best Prenatal appointments with midwife Dedra Sally! She always comes in with a smile and is very patient with all the questions I have. She takes the time to come up with analogies to help me understand everything that is going on! I absolutely love her. Definitely one of the main reasons why I will stay with wakemed north obgyn!
I feel torn on how many stars to give them. I saw Cara Cameron three times and she is the WORST medical provider I have ever seen. She does not listen to any concerns, she is rude when she speaks, and she has absolutely no patient care. However, my last visit I saw Dr. Vu and she was amazing. She definitely turned around this office for me. She spent time talking to me and is very clearly knowledgeable about her patients and job. She is the only reason this office didnt get one star.
A practice with uncommunicative doctors and a practice for uniformed mothers. I started going to this practice when pregnant with my first child. I chose this practice because I first visited the hospital next door, and they seemed like they offered what I wanted in terms of birth experience: low/no intervention, skin-to-skin after birth, etc. However, the providers I dealt with were not communicative and downright neglectful when I had questions and especially concerns about the protocols and treatments offered. It was my first pregnancy, but Id done my research. The straw that broke the camels back was when I was visibly uncertain about the Tdap shot. Id asked questions about it and got noncommittal, uninformative answers from the nurse (I felt I knew more about it than she did!). Before she left the room to go get the shot, she could tell I was still uncertain but didnt do anything to allay my concerns. I got the shot, but felt coerced into, and not that it was my decision and one I felt comfortable with. I did not have a good feeling leaving the office that day. So I didnt return. I felt more comfortable at my new provider than I had for the whole 7 months with this one. (For the record, I went to Baby+Co, where each appointment is a dedicated hour, so should you want/need to TALK with the midwives, youll have the time). Also, I wont say much, b/c it was not my experience, but my sister-in-law was also pregnant around the same time, was also going to this office, and also left for similar reasons. The doctors are not interested in helping you through your pregnancy. They are merely there to make sure a threat to you or your baby is not imminent and to lecture you on any (non necessary) treatment you choose to forego.
First time my wife and I are having our future baby at WakeMed. Today we meet with the Midwife Julie Stembridge and MA Tiffany L. We highly recommend their services. We did not feel like we were patients but we felt like family. They both made sure that all our questions were answered and we never felt rushed in any way. Great team over there
Edit: WakeMed staff reached out and the lady I spoke with was so kind. She asked questions and seemed really concerned that this happened. Changing my review and absolutely recommend that you reach out if you have a bad experience, they really seem to care! I never saw a OB here, but they also soom great from the reviews.Called to schedule a new patient appointment. Lady I spoke with started getting attitude wanting more details. Ok. I started giving more details as requested and then was hung up on. Called back and was on hold. Decided to not make an new patient appointment after all. I can do better.
They have been a nightmare so I quickly went somewhere else. 3 visits in a row they said they called my prenatal rx in and didnt. They had my prior miscarriages classified as live births. One of the doctors thought I was 20 weeks when I was only 6 because he didnt read my chart or their chart was wrong. The messed up my appointment times. I did not feel safe going there and switched. I have talked to many people who have had similar experiences there. I went in the past for a different issue and they were great which is why I chose them. They must of had a chance in management or office staff because it was a terrible experience this time.
I have been going to WakeMed OBGYN since relocating from another state (about 7 yrs). Ive had nothing but great experiences with this group! My main doctor in the group is Dr. McLawhorn. I absolutely love Dr. McLawhorn! She has always made me feel comfortable with discussing any of my feminine needs/concerns. Dr.Mclawhorn always goes above and beyond to ensure that she is doing everything in her power to assist. Shes thorough, extremely knowledgeable in the field and I know that I can always put my trust in her and the entire staff at WakeMed OBGYN! Highly recommended!
I went to see Joanna Evans for my very first visit to an OBGYN. She was amazing!! I was nervous for the appointment, and she was very thorough, respectful, and took the time to explain everything she was doing and made certain I felt comfortable. I will always make my future appointments with her.Great experience for a first time visit!
Dr Kennedy is certainly at the top of her game. She Is very professional, caring & excellent at her job. Wake Med is very fortunate to have her.
I’ve lived in several cities and have used a multitude of different OB GYN providers, and the staff here (providers and nurses) is the absolute best! Recently had a visit with Dr. Joanna Evans and was extremely impressed. Pleasant, patient, and prepared...really appreciate the competent care!
I had a great experience at Wake Med OBGYN. Both Dr. Benoit-Wilson and her medical assistant Megan, were extremely kind, professional, and thorough. They took ample time to listen to my history and needs, and I truly felt like they cared!
I’m not usually one to go to doctors offices unless of course I believe something is wrong or for an annual visit. I called more recently because I’ve been having lower abdominal pain and more irregular menstrual cycles (which is very unusual for me). I’ve had ovarian cysts in the pasts, so my first thought was I may have another one or maybe I have PCOS. I addressed PCOS the very first visit, did blood work, and was told my blood work was normal and that I don’t have PCOS because my hormones are fine, ok cool. Fast forward to a year later, I have more irregular periods, excessive hair growth in unwanted places, and more lower abdominal pain. I called again to get an appointment and was seen the next day (kudos to that). Did an examine but the physician ignored the fact that I should probably get an ultrasound done. I had to tell her I wanted one done to be sure (I shouldn’t have to tell the physician of these things). I got my ultrasound done and there were fibroids presented, which is now a new diagnosis for me. I called the office reaching out (thanks to MyChart, we get the results quickly) and the physician expressed no concern what so ever nor did she suggest any treatment options. I think it’s safe to say that I will not return back to WakeMed for my womens health concerns considering my issues with my body (a patient knows their body more than anyone else) was not taken seriously from the beginning.
This has got to be the worse support I have ever experienced in my 26 years of life. This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what to do and how to do it. I feel like a number and not a patient at all. Please choose another OBGYN office guys. Only reason why I am staying is because I am in my third trimester and no one transfers care when you are that far along. Hell, I don’t even have a birthing plan (just found out what that was and the info didn’t even come from their staff). Sad part is, I’m a manager of a vision center and the lack of support from an health office is so appalling.
Always a pleasure to come in! Megan B. is always prompt and gets things done fast and efficiently not to mention how personable and caring she is! Dr. Benoit Wilson is always so thorough and has amazing bedside manners. Appointment scheduling has been a breeze . So Glad I chose this office!
I am highly concerned for daughters and mothers who go to Dr. Amantia Kennedy for gynecology. Due to my experience with Dr. Kennedy, I no longer trust doctors and I have to bring my mother with me to my doctor visits because Dr. Kennedy was rough with me during a pap procedure and she told me that she removed a polyp but now is claiming she did not. Dr. Kennedys nurse is also claiming that Dr. Kennedy did not remove a polyp from inside me. Someone at Dr. Kennedys office completed my health survey before my appointment with Dr. Kennedy and completed it incorrectly. How can a doctor and her nurse lie about performing a procedure and about rough treatment to a patient? God saw what happened and Dr. Kennedy and her nurse will one day have to face God. I have cried and cried because of this experience. I just cant understand how a doctor and nurse could do something like this.
Dr. McLawhorn, Tiffany and Vaughna are amazing! They are very personable, well knowledgeable and extremely professional!I’m starting the year off right by seeing Tiffany for my nurse appointment! She is Exceptionally Efficient and always keeps me up to date!
Both times I have been to this facility I have been met with friendly smiles and an awesome experience (despite it being a doctors office). I love both Dr. McLawhorn and Julie Stembridge, they both had wonderful personalities and were very knowledgable. My only complaint with the actual office is they had to reschedule my last appointment, this wasnt the issue though, the issue was they had scheduled me for the completely wrong thing. I called the day before to double check one more time that it was scheduled correctly. As far as scheduling is concerned they did not seem concerned with getting you in with the same person for your next visit. So far I have seen Dr. McLawhorn, Julie, and now am scheduled with Dr. Wilson for a follow up. Overall I will definitely be a patient here as long as Im in the area.Update: I have a had a couple issues with my procedure (non related to how is was performed) and the nurses have been so helpful and have responded to my messages in a timely manner (within a matter of minutes after the initial question). This is THE BEST WakeMed facility I have been to.
At 34 weeks I was diagnosed with polyhydramnios and had two amnioreductions. Dr. Rimawi and all of the Wake Med team were so compassionate and caring while providing excellent care. I felt seen and heard through every procedure, in labor and delivery, and then throughout our month-long stay in the NICU. The bedside manner of the Wake Med team made our experiences less daunting and stressful because we were treated so well. Can’t say enough good things about everyone’s kindness and compassion for us while delivering top of the line medical care.
Amazing practice with excellent service. Dr.McLawhorn was the physician that completed my surgery and she was amazing! Dr.McLawhorn has such an amazing spirit and she’s so sweet. The staff at the office is very attentive and make sure all your needs are met. Amazing place and I would recommend them to any woman looking for a great OBGYN office!
Friendly helpful staff started with administration. Then Dr. Kennedy gave me a wealth of information and explained it all in details. Her exam was thorough. She helped me make the best choices for my situation and didnt push me in either direction. I appreciate her calming bedside manner. Med. Assistant Vonnie (sp?) was a gem. The ladies down in room 101 were fun and made the blood work process less stressful. Thank you!
Dr. Kennedy and her nurse Nancylee were fantastic! I recently moved from PA to NC and have to say it i was very pleased with everything here. It is hard to select new doctors that you connect with and I am so happy I found them.
Dr. Benoit-Wilson is adept at her craft, cares deeply for her patients, and has a broad depth of knowledge. I was referred to her by Dr. Jacqueline Hicks and I trust Dr. Hicks’ judgment. Dr. Benoit-Wilson is efficient, follows through in a timely manner with all correspondences, and has created a comforting atmosphere for her patients. Megan (medical assistant) is equally efficient and compliments the service Dr. Benoit-Wilson strives to provide. Megan is so good, her mentee, Racquel (medical assistant) Megan’s professional expectations. This is an awesome team and I just recommended them to my stylist!!! Thank you to Dr. Benoit-Wilson, Megan, and Racquel at WakeMed Raleigh North for your top of the line service.
With my first baby I had the best experience with Duke and I thought for 2nd Wakemed would be good. I really liked the doctors but the entire process which they follow is the worst!!! I have hyper nausea and vomiting and requested Doctor to prescribe me Medicine so that I can go and refill in pharmacy. They never did that. They wanted me to call them. Well calling them was useless. Nurse never ever ever answers the call. We have to wait for their call and just incase if by any chance miss that call then dont expect their calls.. They will never return your calls. Once I had a situation where I had worst time with my vomitings and I called their emergency call line as it was weekend. I got an answer from Nurse that she cant prescribe me those medicine and doctors dont reply page during weekends. I was so very angry and asked her what if I get dehydrated?? She coldly answer then I cant help you, pls see emergency.. How horrible and worst one can be??? Luckily in one of my purse I found 2 tablets of zofran of my last pregnancy and that saved me!!! I just wanted to get away from these guys and luckily we moved to Charlotte. I asked them to give all my medical records as I am seeing new practice there. They handed papers to my husband and when I gave all them to my new practice they said the most important papers of you anatomy scans are not here. Still waiting for those. What level of professionalism and care do we call this now?? I feeling birthing is the best moment of life for parents.. They are ensuring it to ruin it! I never write reviews but I never want anyone to suffer like me.. I dont want to give them even a star!!!
Excellent experience as always. Been seeing Dr. Kennedy for about a year now and she always takes time to hear my concerns out, and makes me feel valued as a patient.Very thorough quality of care, genuine and professional. The medical assistant, NancyLee was professional and kind as well.
I will not continue after I give birth. Im 35 wks now and have only been there since around 28 wks and havent had good experiences. Im not taken seriously I think by certain ppl, I will request to only be seen by doctor Jacobs from here on out. Some of the women doctors/midwives are just cold. I was told at my last appointment that my shortness of breath, elevated heart rate, and weakness would not kill me. I complained about this last Thursday and today was told to come in and have my blood sugar tested. I was just there Tuesday presenting with the same issues, so why wasnt it checked then? Why hasnt my iron been checked since the complaint? Im frustrated by not enough answers, lack of knowledge, and lack of compassion. Also I still havent received my prescription that was to be sent over on Tuesday! Hopefully more offices will be able to deliver at Wakemed North soon so women will have access to a better practice and still be able to deliver at the hospital of choice.Update: I delivered here and had a good experience. Dr Jacobs and Dr Mclawhorne were responsible for handling my concerns, scheduling, and delivering via c section. My delivery experience and hospital experience was a good one. The last few weeks were appointments in which I cant complain much. I mainly saw Dr kennedy. I specifically requested to see the Drs and not the midwives when scheduling appointments. I will more than likely continue to see Dr Kennedy as my doctor, but I cant say I would use them again if i were to become pregnant again.
I was scheduled to have a surgical procedure on 1/8/20 for fibroid removal and IUD insertion to treat the remaining fibroids. During my first pre-op call I was told that I needed to get the prescription for the IUD from Dr. Kennedy, fill the prescription, and bring it to the procedure; she also told me that this procedure was something newly instated.I then go to my pre-op appointment with Dr. Kennedy on 12/31/19 and before I left the appointment I reminded her that I needed the prescription for the IUD to fill and bring to the surgery as this is something new they are doing. She agreed and she printed out the prescription for me to fill. Those where the only instructions I was given. On 1/6/20, I went to CVS to fill the prescription and they told me that I needed to go to either a specialty pharmacy or a hospital pharmacy to fill that prescription...this is the first time Im hearing of this. I call WakeMeds hospital pharmacy on New Bern Ave to see if they have it in stock and they confirmed that they did. I drove over there to fill it that same day. I was then told by a pharmacy tech that my insurance was rejecting it and saying that its not covered. When asked why since I needed it and not for preventive services, they advised me to contact my doctors office. I could only send a message through the app because by that time it was almost 5:30 pm.I called the OBGYNs office first thing in the morning on 1/7/20...remember, I was told that I needed to bring the IUD to the procedure (which I had to be there at 7:15 am, 1/8/20) meaning that I had to have the prescription filled on 1/7/20. I was told by someone on the Advice Nurse line the prescription needed to be filled at my insurances specialty pharmacy in order for it to be covered. Yesterday was the first time Ive heard of the term specialty pharmacy let alone know that my insurance company had a preferred one. I track down my specialty pharmacy here and they told me that they have to receive the prescription electronically from MY DOCTOR, they would order it, then send it TO MY DOCTOR. They also told me that they would never receive the prescription from me or send it to me and that it would take at least 24 hours before theyd receive anything. This same information was told to me by another specialty pharmacy here.I then called the Advice Nurse line back upset because I then knew that this meant I had to cancel the surgery. When she asked me what they said, I told her. She then followed up by saying that usually the doctor sends in the prescription and they receive the IUD for the procedure. I told her thats not what I was told twice as the protocol was newly changed. She then told me that she could only tell me what she does everyday and thats not the way its done. I was angry and she knew it and apologized (in her way), canceled my surgery and then asked me if I wanted them to send the prescription in to my specialty pharmacy for the rescheduled surgery...as if there was some other place they could send it?I hung with her and cried (while at work). Why? Because there was no regard to how disappointed and deflated I was emotionally knowing that I was going to have to deal with the symptoms of these fibroids for at least another 2 months because this procedure is preformed by my doctor only on Wednesdays and shes already booked months out. Not getting adequate sleep for a week each month because you have to get up every 2 hours to change your ultra tampon and pad, the exhaustion because your iron is constantly low, aka being diagnosed as anemic, the bloating, the pelvic pain, passing tons of blood clots like your peeing for 6 days....none of that. And after all of this NO ONE has apologized except for the Advise Nurse and she really could have kept her apology.
I am very pleased with how Dr. Benoit-Wilson showed concern with my health concern. Describing the necessary tests and plan of action. She is gentle when examining me. I feel confident that my issue will be resolved and I have confidence in her care. Also, her assistant Megan helped put me at ease.
Dr. Benoit-Wilson and her medical staff are amazing. Dr. Benoit-Wilson is genuinely kind and compassionate as a practicing physician and as a person. She’s very warm and welcoming and would recommend her if you’re looking for an OB/GYN.
I gave birth to my daughter in August of 2016. We had nightmare pregnancy dealing with excruciating pain from kidney stones. While I may not like every physician in this practice, Dedra was by far the sweetest person to treat me! I was lucky enough to have her the night my baby was born as well. Dr. Jacobs and Dr. McLawhorn were wonderful also! If you are able to pick who treats you, I highly suggest any of these three!
Dr Jacobs, and nurses Julie and Cara were great. Dr Jacobs saved my son and me after going through a medical malpractice with Benoit Wilson. Yes i said it!!! Benoit Wilson was in “such a hurry” to induce my labor (during the wrong time... which i heard the docs saying while i was pushing!) bc she failed to realize my baby had his hand on the side of his head. after an epidural, lots of pitocin, some blood hemorrhaging, 3rd degree tears, ptsd, and 4 months of recovery later... all is well. TG.
I went for a scheduled appointment but ended up having to stay due to elevated BP. I shared some additional concerns with the RN and requested to speak to the doctor before I left. The doctor didnt come back but just made a referral. I was so overwhelmed that I could barely drive home and would have been greatly helped by a few minutes of the doctors time. Scheduling appointments has not gone smoothly, so when I have access to the doctor, I want to feel like I matter.
I will never use this practice again. I had a procedure 8/7 per a referral of one of doctors at my doctors office BUT not my personal doctor. I still have NOT heard back from the doctor at WakeMed. I was even told the results are there so this is is even more upsetting to me now. I will not refer anyone to this practice. I feel that I should add that the nurses have been very supportive each time I have called and asked for my results. So a shout out to the nurses Ive worked with.
Dr. Benoit-Wilson and Megan, MA, are both caring and highly professional! They take the time to talk with you, ask questions, provide additional information on topics of interest, and really go above and beyond each time I visit the office. Highly recommend their practice for OBGYN needs!
I am currently in my 3rd trimester and I have been with WPP from the start. I have experienced some complications necessitating frequent visits and some hospitalizations and through it all we have received the highest level of care. We have seen all but 1 of the providers in this process and while all have a slightly different style, we havent disliked anyone. All the providers, nurses, and medical assistants we have seen have been warm and compassionate. Also, WPP is currently the only practice delivering at WakeMed North and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the facility and staff there.
Doctors are awsome there. Front desk is another story. They will hang up on you and transfer you and not allow you to speak. Wake Med would have 5 stars if the hired a great staff up front with excellent communication skills and friendly voices. If id share my experience no one would go there but hopefully it was just me and it wont happen again.
I have to say all the doctors and nurses are great. But dr Kennedy is an amazing and caring dr who goses above and beyond for her patients. Her heart is truly loving and she gives everything she has to sharing that with her patients. To me she is my angel in scrubs and I will never forget her in my life . thata is what a true doctor is and means when they take the doctor oath. I will recommend wake med and her to everyone. wake med you should hold on to dr Kennedy for as long as you can you have a world best doctor in your practice.
Pregnancy visit :- Doctor ( Cindy Huyen ) she is always on rush during regular checkup . No information will be clearly provided by her. Apart from her nurses and Dr. Kennedy are does a great job.
Where do I begin? Dr. McLawhorn and her MA Vona are the absolute best. I can talk freely and be myself in front of them and not feel embarrassed nor ashamed. Whatever I was there for no matter my situation I’ve always felt the most comfortable around these two. I have been a patient of Dr. McLawhorn for some years now and she’s hands down by far the best. She takes her time and makes sure that what she’s doing isn’t rushed. Vona makes sure your comfortable before and doing whatever it is you are being seen for that day. I am currently pregnant and have to be induced at 37 weeks, and Dr. McLawhorn has set things up so that she can be with me when I deliver. To be honest it would be great if I could have both her and her MA with me on my special day but I can’t. These two ladies are my absolute favorite and I would recommend them to anyone any day of the week.
This OBGYN is by far the worst place I have ever had to deal with. Last year when I went the staff was incredibly rude, seemed to care more about gossip than their jobs. The girl even left her window open. (could have at least closed it, so everyone in the waiting room can not hear) The only nice thing about that experience was the doctor. I have endo and taking birth control pills continuously is important. I fubbed and realized a week before my BC pills ran out I needed to call and make and apt asap!! I called on a Thursday and let the nurse triage line my name dob reason for calling, and even stating to her that I know I need an appointment. I left a message on the appointment line because like usual NO one answers the phones! She did not call me back at all, I had no idea what was going on. My pharmacist send two authorization request, she finally denied one, but did not even check first to see if my appointment was set....which it was! That means the triage nurse never looked in my chart before she denied my BC prescription. When my pharmacist spoke with this nurse again, she said she knew I had the appointment, but did not ever fax back the request back. My appointment was not until end of July. That is such horrible customer service, especially the nurse knowing I called and left a message the previous week (did not call me back or anything, I had to finally inquire....hello can I get an answer??? What is going on! I cannot ever get anyone on the phone when I do, they talk over me and do not really listen. I finally lost my cool. Now the nurse who I have NEVER spoken with on the phone at all (because she will not return any message), just through an annoying receptionist, and the lovely pharmacists, seems to think she has the authority to mess with someones meds that are legitimately needed (it is birth control), when she doesnt even check charts????. It is okay life will go on this I know. I will not spend anymore money with an establishment who is not customer friendly. It is already bad enough going to the OBGYN! Dont need to deal with all that! Fortunately I immediately found a new OBGYN with a June apt date! (they answer their phones)
I had a appointment with Dr Benoit-Wilson on 1/5/2021 this was my first visit with her. She was very personable ,informative, and nice every question I had she answered. She met every expectation I had. She really care about her patients. I will tell every women I know about her.
I have nothing but things to say about this OBGYN office. Starting with my 1st appointment down to my surgery. Dr. MacLawhorn and her staff provided me with excellent insight and care in the office and the day of my surgery. I would recommend this location for your OBGYN care and services!
Dr. McLawhorn had been my OB since I moved to Raleigh and she is nothing short of amazing. She delivered my son and was very personable, gentle, and caring. I pray that she can deliver my second child.
Dr. Benoit-Wilson and Megan B. really made me feel good at my visit today. I find medical visits distressful. Their empathy, patience, and brightness coupled with genuine kindness, made me feel good about my visit and being in their care. Thank you so much!
Vona is an amazing medical assistant who works at the Wake Med North OB-GYN clinic. She is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She ALWAYS makes me laugh every time I come in for an appointment, she ALWAYS welcomes me with a smile, and it is obvious that not only is she good at her job, but she also loves her job. Thanks for being FANTASTIC Vona! Your patients really appreciate it/you!
Dr. Benoit-Wilson and her Medical Assistant Megan work so comforting and reassuring during a procedure that was stressful and uncomfortable. Very pleased with my first experience at Wake Med OB/GYN
I was recently diagnosed with uterine fibroids and found Dr. Benoit-Wilson via the positive reviews on Healthgrades. She and the staff were very attentive, professional and extremely thorough. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Crane has helped me through a very complicated diagnosis regarding urinary leakage. We jumped through all the hoops together and found the answer I had been looking for for many years. She is compassionate, thorough, and quick to respond to your needs. I would recommend her to anyone with urinary issues.
I waited 2 and a half weeks for an appointment for serious health problems. They called me 2 days before my appointment and said that I would need a 30min appointment instead of 15mins and therefore they were canceling my appointment COMPLETELY. They canceled me because they claimed they needed 15 MORE MINS! They have no concern for the serious health problems Im having and are only concerned with how they bill me.
I loved meeting Dr. Benoit. She showed me that she had interested in my concern. She helped me get less anxious about my condition. Great Doc!!
Just had my annual visit with them and thought the office was great. The PA took extra time to record all my health issues and concerns and Dr McLawhorn was great. Patient, not rushed and took all the time I needed to answer questions. Office staff was professional as well.
Amazing experience. From the front desk to my nurses to my doctor, Dr. Benoit-Wilson. Everyone was super friendly, very efficient and wanting to make sure I’m as comfortable as I can be during my visit. New to the area and so happy I found them! Told my friends in Cali they should come here just for the friendly experience lol
I am currently a patient of Dr. McLawhorn. Her and her Medical Assistant Vona make me feel so at ease and answer all my questions and never judge me. Every time I come into the office they never rush through my appointment. I would recommend them to all my family.
Ive seen probably every OB professional since i started going here. Theyre all amazing. They make me feel comfortable and answer all of my questions. Thank you so much for all that you all do for us, I couldnt ask for better service.
My first experiences (about 3 years ago) with this practice were satisfactory. Unfortunately, in the most recent months I have been very disatsified with the interactions at this clinic. I recently became aware that the maker of the diaphragm, my birth control method of choice, has discontinued this product. (As a side note, my husband and I have chosen to use non-hormonal birth control for personal convictions.) I found out the item was discontinued by trying to fill a perscription for a new one that this clinic provided for me. When the pharmacist could not fill the perscription I tried to contact the doctors office and began trying to get information about another maker or alternative diaphragm options. The advice I was given at that time was to call around to other pharmacies and see if anyone else could fill the perscription. I called around and wasnt having any luck, so I called the doctors office back again in hopes that they may be able to offer some alternative substitutions. Their response to this was that they didnt know of any other alternatives. I began doing some searching on my own online and found two other brands that were slightly different, but that I hoped might work. I read a few websites and decided to call the doctors office again and see if I could get some input on these other options. I left all the information with the nurse and she said she would pass it along to the doctor I had seen. When I got a call back a day later the nurse simply told me that the doctors response was I have no idea. When I asked specifically if the doctor had taken a look at the two alternatives I had mentioned she said no.I dont believe that I am overreacting by being frustrated that I wasnt given any further assistance. I would have hoped that the doctor would have seen it important to give input before a patient purchases alternative medicine, especially if that patient has sought out their advice and input. Furthermore, diaphragms are sized and I wasnt even given information regarding sizing from my previous perscription. Needless to say this issue may not affect many, seeing as though my brith control method of choice is in the minority, but I would hope that the lack of customer service and customer care would influence your decision in chosing a OBGYN in this area. If I were still currently living in the Raleigh area I would definitely be seeking out a different OBGYN.
Dr. Jarvis was attentive, listened, explained and ordered follow up tests as well as a follow up visit. No run arounds, no back and forth, everything was done the same day and the following week. Messaged and called with results and further plans. Staff was polite, attentive, wait time was almost none.
I actually go to the doctors office on falls of neuse road but I had to take a self administered prescription. Gayle N. offered to help. She was so nice & very helpful. She even called me to see how my first time went. She will forever be, in my heart, one of the sweetest people Ive ever met. Thank you Gayle.-Elinor
Terrible experiences here..... First we were told our baby would have sickle cell, apparently a miscommunication.Next one dr pretty much called my wife fat, another told her to see a psychiatrist.Dont try to call the on call doctors.... unless you are literally dying, very rudeThen they got test results of my wife that were sooo far out of range and didnt bother to call, come to find out they ordered the wrong test!!!Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else from the beginning
Dr. Benoit-Wilsons MA, Megan, is a sweetheart. Her pleasant smile and her happy positive attitude makes for a stress-free exam. She is an asset to her profession.
Wonderful experience! Dr. Michele Benoit-Wilson and Megan, MS, were so caring and great personalities. I was instantly comfortable, and felt as if I could talk to them women to women.
Dr. Benoit-Wilson and Megan are wonderful and caring professionals. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and heard. I highly recommend them to any woman!
Appointment with Dr. Benoit-Wilson & Megan could not have gone any better during this COVID-19 event. All staff were still as courteous and friendly as ever before. Precautions were in place due to COVID.
I just had my baby on July 7th 2016 I went in at 8am by 12pm I was 5cm dr mclonghorn broke my water to try and rush the process, when that didnt work she started pitocine and was pumping too much which made my babies heart rate drop 4 times, by 7pm I was 8cm and she made me start pushing which was way too early. The nurses were amazing and coached me through the pushing by the time me daughter was crowning McLonghorn was barely coming back in the room when it was time to catch my daughter she expected me to stop pushing and stop the process because she didnt have her gloves on and was not ready to catch her, my overall labor was horrific there I wish I had Dr.Grout or Dr.Kennedy they are the only Drs I trust from that facility I do not recommend you let McLonghorn deliver your baby.
Id like to say thank very much for the excellent service I received from Dr. Netasha Mclawhorn and MA: Racquel at your N.Raleigh facility on 5th January 2021. The attention and care they gave to me was exceptional, it instilled in me confidence that I was at the right facility and with the right medical professionals!
Ive been calling for two days and have left multiple messages but nobody will call me back. I am currently pregnant and have heard great things, I wanted to schedule here but their phones keep sending me to voicemail. I call other places and they answer right away. Guess Ill have to schedule elsewhere.
Dr. McLawnhorn has the best bedside manners, down to earth, and very thorough & professional. So pleased with her care.
I love Dr. McLawhorn. Shes so smart, personable, patient, and thorough. She always makes me feel included in my healthcare plan.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Benoit-Wilson, Megan, and Julie! Very patient and caring even though I was a more than a bit nervous. Would recommend to friends and family!
Had a great and informative experience with Dr. Benoit-Wilson and nurse Megan B. They made me feel comfortable and they did what they could to make it a great visit. Would highly recommend both of these women.
Dr. Benoit-Wilson is an awesome doctor. I came for a second opinion and she made sure to listen to my concerns and has followed up with them!
Dr. Benoit-Wilson and Nurse Megan E. are amazing. They work so well together and I can tell that they really love what they do. Wether they know it or not they gave me hope again.
Ms. Cara made me feel heard, rather than dismissed or judged like other doctors have in my past
Dr. Beniot-Wilson is friendly and knowledgeable. She made time to answer all my questions. I have been very pleased with WakeMed!
Dr. Benoit-Wilson & nurse Megan B. Are both amazing. Office is always clean and wait times are reasonable.
I am currently pregnant with my first child, and after every appointment I have had at this practice, I leave wanting to cry. I feel somehow like I know less than when I walked in!
Very excellent hospital and very very nice doctors and nurses.I been trying for having a baby for 9 years and when I went for this OBG YN I got my baby now thanks to god and for them.
Dr. Jacobs, Megan, Magda and staff are Awesome! Their skill and professionalism have me coming back. What a great accomplishment! Thank you!
Dont ever go here. Theyll kidnap your family and hold them hostage. Just for the simple fact that they dont want to get sued. Well thats inevitable now.. So if you love youre family dont bring them here.
They took great care of me all throughout the pregnancy. The staff were amazing, friendly and always helpful
Dr. Benoit-Wilson and Megan were fantastic! So nice and willing to take the time to talk about life for a while.
