I was diagnosed with Cellulitis and spent 11 days in Emory Johns Creek Hospital, and Dr. Titu Das treated me with the highest care and compassion. Dr. Das stayed close to my case through five months of recovery, tweaking my care plan to accelerate my healing. He was very concerned about the social impact and loss of work that the disease caused, and his empathy was much appreciated. The office visits were upbeat and professional. His staff are excellent and cheerful, which helps when you feel grumpy.
I arrived at this infectious Disease Dr. office and from the front desk they were super awesome! DR. Castro was very patient and pleasant, explained procedure. The nurse Tola was very patience gentle and kind. Laura very awesome and patience too. Marissa took her time to find me an empty bed for my procedure. Iam very greatful for these professionals.... Thank you so much! I would love to come back!! You guys Rock!!!John Walker.
Johns Creek location. Initial inquiry call - not friendly and very unhelpful, in fact was told everything they cannot do. Only sees patients in local area, particularly with/from Emory facility. Did not seem interested in assisting/seeing a Georgia patient needing to travel to their office. Does not have new patient portal to complete new patient paperwork ahead of time and cannot send new patient paperwork ahead of time - must complete all in office 20-30 mins before initial appointment and bring all labs, etc. yourself. Requires referral - does not accept patient initiated consultation visits. Thanks, IDS - you were able to give zero hope to the hopeless today.
Outstanding!! I saw Dr Adeel at IDSGA and was so impressed with him. He was very kind and patient, listening to me and reassuring me I did the right thing coming in after being diagnosed with a MRSA infection in my hand.He was very thorough in his examination, changed the antibiotic the previous doctor (from a different group) had put me on, to something easier on my kidneys. Dr Adeel did blood work which the previous doctor didn’t do and discovered my Creatinine was extremely high so we were able to address it.I am so happy I came to IDSGA and specifically saw Dr Adeel. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
Johns Creek location. Dr Das and his staff saved my life. Full stop. LOVE these folks. Wish I could give them 10 stars
Unprofessional. As a new patient I had to get two of my former doctors to fax over records. Once the staff confirmed they were received and a doc was reviewing them, I called after a week without contact for the rude staff to tell me I hadnt submitted anything and they only accepted patients by referral only. These people are not honest.
My first time there the staff was quick, responsive, ready to provide any answers, also very pleasant. The first time that the doctor Alam visited me at North Fulton he expressed his genuine care of my particular situation. Extremely impressed...Sincerely
Dont go there. It is a patient mill with all the characteristics of a shoddy company, from the way they get their patients to their billing. I was unfortunate to be seen by Dr Das at Emory Johns Creek Hospital where I was admitted and made the mistake to continued my IV treatment with the company he suggested, where he is a partner.
Dr. Castro is amazing! I cannot say enough great things about him. I met him when my mother was in the hospital with a very serious condition in early 2020. He was her infectious disease doctor while she was in the ICU. He had already been treating my Dad for cellulitis over the years. My mother almost died, and I feel that Dr. Castro was instrumental in saving her life. In early 2021, my Dad was hospitalized for a very serious spine infection. Dr. Castro treated him there, and stayed in close touch with us when Dad went to rehab (a horrible place). When I was worried about my Dads condition at the rehab, Dr. Castro contacted them and ordered blood panels, and immediately after results were called in to his office, his nurse, Jessica, called me - after hours. Dad was in kidney failure and went back to the hospital. He was again under Dr. Castros watch, as he also battled COVID. More than once, Dr. Castro called me after hours (i.e. 7pm on a Friday night) to give me an update on my Dad. I have been to several appointments to Dr. Castros office with my Dad, and he and his team are always wonderful. Dr. Castro clearly cares about his patients. I feel, also, that he may have saved both of my parents lives, due to his brilliant insight into various infections they have both battled over the last two years. And they are both 86 now. Dr. Castros office is the most responsive Ive ever dealt with. When you call, you get a real person, and you can almost always talk to his nurse (now Natasha). They always call back if they miss your call ASAP. Excellent doctor and excellent team. I am so grateful for the top-notch care they provide, their sincere concern for their patients, and the stellar customer service! Id give more than five stars if I could!
My medical needs were met in a professional matter, however, the administrative component of this relationship soured when they asked me to pay BEFORE any charges were filed with my insurance - I explained that I typically pay my physicians when I see the EOB reflecting the portion I owe - that comment fell on deaf ears. I had to move on and find another provider who is more reasonable in their billing process. Had I known they would behave this way, I would not have initiated IV therapy, which I had to suspend because of their unreasonable business practices.
Werent able to help me and thats fine I understand if something is out of their wheelhouse but if I am paying for a doctor visit I expect the doctor to be prepared. I was told the doctor had reviewed my info yet each time sat on his phone or tablet scrolling away. He literally texted someone else mid appointment (an appointment that I am paying money for mind you)They literally made me come in to tell me my tests were negative. Instead of a phone call and saying we cant help you it was come in and heres your copay. So if you want to be charged for pointless Doctor visits this is the place to go 👍🏻
Outstanding physician and outstanding human being. While at wellstar north fulton hospital, Dr Castro took care of me diligently and methodically for a period of 2 months. While at the hospital, Dr Castro would check on me almost on a daily basis. Under his care and attention I overcame a health condition which couldve been disastrous for me. Many thanks Dr Castro!
Dr. Manuel Castro-Borobio, MD is an outstanding Immunologist and were it not for his diagnostic diligence and ability to narrow down a complex set of issues into the perfect treatment plan I would not be here to write this review.
Alpharetta location the staff are amazing and super lovely !
The support staff/nurses act like the patient is an inconvenience. Their attitudes create an atmosphere of a public free health clinic.
Dr Alam is an amazing and caring expert Dr. He listens and answers all the many questions I have and gives me confidence in the treatment plan.
No respect for peoples time. Always atleast 45 minute wait from the appointment time before being seen by a provider.
This place made me COMPLAIN I come here 2 for nothing. I am FULL DEAF. I need interpreter ASL for me because they dont have it. its ADA LAW . Do i have a right ? Please get interpreter ASL now . Thanks
Was unable to diagnose a lower bowel infection and stopped returning our calls.
