In hindsight, we just hired the wrong office for our double VBAC because they are so by the book, and wanted revert us right back to a c-section at 37 weeks because of hospital policy. I dont feel they were very honest with us at the beginning - I left feeling they would support our 2VBAC plans but the reality is that they took our money and never really planned on supporting us through with our plans. They seemed eager to get us to c-section. If youre seeking a VBAC please save your money for another mid-wife that actually wants to do the work. Carson was clearly not comfortable with our situation, but was more than happy to take our money. She should have told us to find another midwife!Beware that you are paying a large non-refundable membership fee to reserve OB2me for the day of birth. They definitely sell this concierge experience but its in the same office as Providence in a different hallway and with some twinkle lights. Youre better off just staying with Providence and running through insurance unless you really want the twinkle lights experience and the benefit of reserving your midwife for the day of birth.

Thanks to Carsons tremendous skill and respect for mothers, I was able to have the natural delivery of twins that I wanted in a hospital setting. I was respected, empowered, and provided with the best medical care imaginable. Her skill helping breech twin B turn was amazing. The incredible staff at Wellstar respected her ability to deliver the babies. Dr. Frederick the OB was present, calm and at the ready to assist as needed but allowed Carson and I to be the ones who birthed the babies. I needed no medical interventions but the hospital staff was there and ready just in case. My twin boys thrived, and my recovery was smooth. I cant say enough good things about Carson and her mother-centric model of care. Thank you, Carson!!

Carson was my backup care throughout my pregnancy in the situation that my homebirth ended with a transfer to the hospital, and due to some medical complications that’s exactly what happened. I was anxious about the hospital, and felt like I had lost control of my birthing plan, but Carson was so supportive and so patient with me. She was by my side and I felt like she was an amazing advocate for me throughout my stay. My little dude was uncooperative and I ended up having an unplanned c-section, and Carson was great about walking me through everything and helping me do everything I could to have him vaginally before we made that decision. Even after the c-section Carson was always checking in on us at the hospital. I’m so grateful I had her in my corner, I needed her support and kindness to keep me sane! I would absolutely use her services again, and I would recommend her to anyone.

There aren’t enough stars to adequately rate how wonderful the experience was with Carson at OB2me. I can’t speak highly enough about her and the fantastic care I have received while under her care from prenatal visits, during labor and delivery, and now post partum. If you want a truly compassionate and kind provider that treats you as a person with your own individual needs and desires then look no further. Everyone deserves the VIP type of experience you get under her care. She offers in office or in home appointments and is very flexible with scheduling to accommodate your schedule. She’s the best!

I am editing this in 2023. I wish I could give Carson and Hannah 10 stars or at LEAST submit a second review. I miscarried in June, and they were SO supportive. Carson visited me in the hospital even though I was in the ER. Hannah was a treasure during the postpartum period for our loss and continues to be 6 months later. The hugs I receive in office from Carson and Hannah were needed and appreciated, and they listened to me and supported ME as a grieving mom. I genuinely wish that all providers were like them. Every woman deserves this level of care.2021 review: My prenatal care and delivery would not have been the same without Carson. I found her when I was later in pregnancy around 30 weeks, and she was incredibly comforting and seemed to genuinely care about me and my growing baby. As more appointments passed, it became more apparent to us that she did indeed genuinely care about how my pregnancy and birth unfolded. She is a fabulous listener and was always supportive whether discussing pregnancy symptoms or birth plans. For delivery, she made sure that I was comfortable and felt safe and even surprised us by putting up string lights over the birthing tub. I cannot think of anything that would have made the birth of my first daughter more magical, and I am so happy that I found Carson (I wish I had found her sooner). We are honored to have her as part of our family, and she will be my first call for the next one.

I can’t express enough how grateful I am for OB2Me. I am not exactly the most easy patient as I battled past trauma, including birth trauma, throughout my pregnancy. Not to mention this was an IVF pregnancy which comes with its own anxieties after dealing with infertility & loss. I saw Hannah the most during my prenatal appointments and whenever I came to her with any of my anxieties and concerns, I always left the office feeling so much more at peace. Carson was also super understanding of my needs and always made me feel reassured that this birth would be different. When I suddenly began bleeding very heavily at 13 weeks, Carson picked up the emergency line right away and got me in for an ultrasound that same day! At 40 weeks we found out my baby had zero fluid left which meant I had to be induced & water birth was off the table. I was so distraught because induction was how my first birth started which immediately triggered that trauma. Hannah comforted me in the office and assured me that I could still have the unmedicated birth I desired. She met my husband and I over at the hospital which was super comforting to see a familiar face. When I felt like labor was not picking up, I had a moment of lots of tears and Hannah recommended taking an hour break from all the monitors and induction. When we restarted, she prayed over me and helped me meditate to have a better outlook on the day. I hit active labor that afternoon & she was SO accommodating with helping me get into new positions that made me feel most comfortable. My body was telling me to squat with each contraction and Hannah was literally laying on the ground under the bed with a pillow to be able to see what was happening (I included photo evidence of this to show just how amazing she is!!!). I was able to help catch my baby and bring him straight to my chest, which is exactly what I had dreamed of. She made sure my birth plan was followed as much as she could, and that the staff at North Fulton also respected me and my desires for my birth. Although my birth did not start out the way I had hoped, Hannah did everything possible to encourage me and help me still have an amazing, empowering birth. She truly has been a gift from God and was exactly what I needed throughout my pregnancy and delivery.Even after delivery Hannah continuously checked up on me, especially since my baby had a few days stay in the nicu. I am forever grateful for the support I received and believe I’ve had a much better postpartum experience because of my healing, redemptive birth! OB2Me is absolutely worth every penny and I wish every mom could receive this type of care because it truly was a transformative experience. I am sad that this chapter is over but they will always hold a special place in my heart!(Birth photos by my fantastic doula, Milène Miller)

I don’t really think anything I could say would do Carson and her team justice. I drove from Macon (happily!) to see Carson for my prenatal appointments and to have her assist on my 3rd and final c-section birth. She worked so hard for this last one to be the birth I desperately wanted and she made the magic happen. I got to see my sweet babe be born and we were able to have our doula/photographer be in the OR with us. Carson and everyone around her are kind, calm, upbeat, and treat you like family. My only regret is not finding Carson sooner for my first two births. I will always be so thankful for her!

Carson is absolutely amazing! I felt safe, supported and cared for at every turn! She worked with me in a way that perfectly fit my unique situation without hesitation. I had a very positive first birth experience with her as my midwife at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. My husband and I (and first baby) are eternally grateful for her as a professional and as a dear friend. We love you Carson!

I cant recommend Carson & Hannah enough - as many women know and have experienced - the OB world can sometimes (and too frequently) be bullies and fear monger or coerce into uninformed decisions to pregnant women / women giving birth and OB2me is NOT that way. They are soooo supportive of YOUR choices and preferences, do not roll eyes when you ask questions or deny tests or the usual things suggested during pregnancy. I went with the hybrid program and it has been amazing for those who are looking to homebirth but maybe want (or need for their partner to be supportive) the extra comfort of traditional medical care. When I have brought up a concern or asked for additional testing, there has been no hesitation and pure support. She works WITH my homebirth midwife and others in my birthing team in a collaborative way and has made me feel very safe with backup options and emergency plans. They recommend and encourage pelvic floor therapy, BFing support, massages, etc - which should be standard practice for women during pregnancy and postpartum but isnt traditionally suggested, prescribed or informed. I wish I would have known about OB2Me with my first but extremely grateful to have found them for my last!

I love Carson!! She was my midwife with my daughter, and from the beginning of my prenatal care till after my delivery she was the sweetest , hands on, caring, and understanding person you could ever have. Being young I had so many questions and she was always there anytime of the day to get back to me. She made my labor SO EASY! she was so attentive made sure I was comfortable and that I was relaxing instead of stressing. After my daughter was born she helped me so much with the recovery and breastfeeding. I honestly couldn’t thank her enough I am forever grateful to have had her as a part of my journey! If you’re looking around for a midwife don’t look any further I promise you Carson will take care of you like no other ! She is Gods gift!

I cant imagine a better care team for my first pregnancy. I always felt safe and supported. Throughout the process they focused on my mental health as well as my physical health. They never judged any of my questions or plans for my birth. They were so informative in helping me focus on a physiological birth and what my body was capable of. I would choose them again for my next pregnancy in a heartbeat.

Carson is amazing. I switched to her after feeling like my previous practice was not giving me adequate care. Even though I was not with her my entire pregnancy, I felt like Carson had been with me the entire time and that is a hard thing to achieve in 2 weeks. She made sure my baby and myself were safe. You cant go wrong with that.

I switched from Nile to Carson’s in office midwifery services at around 20 weeks pregnant. There wasn’t a moment that I didn’t feel 110% supported, heard and loved the entire pregnancy and labor by Carson. It made all the difference in the world having a midwife that truly listens, you see at every appointment, is there for you throughout your entire pregnancy and also attends your birth. I never had to re-explain anything to different people, hunt someone down for an answer or wonder if my pregnancy mattered to my midwife. She made my care of upmost priority and that was so reassuring since I had suffered a loss at 21 weeks pregnant previously. Carson respected my birth wishes, made me feel validated and advocated for me in so many ways that no other midwife would have. I’m beyond thankful for her and can’t recommend her concierge midwife service enough. It is absolutely without a doubt worth the extra money for her. You will never think of pregnancy care the same again. If all midwives were willing and able to give the level of care she does it would honestly change the way women give birth in such a positive way. If we ever decide to have another baby she will be my midwife again. I couldn’t have had my beautiful waterbirth without her.

I wish I could give Carson Raegan 10 stars— 5 is not enough!! She has delivered all 3 of my babies. She delivered my 2 when she was employed by a larger practice so when I got pregnant with my 3rd baby, I knew I wanted her to deliver that baby too.First, let me tell you about my prenatal care. I almost never had to wait at all for a visit and when I did, it was only for about 2 minutes! I always saw Carson personally, for every visit, and I never felt rushed. I could ask her as many questions as I wanted. No seeing a nurse first and then waiting around for a doctor to come talk to you for 5 minutes… Carson did it all herself. I was also able to call or text her personally any time I had a question or concern my entire pregnancy, which was amazing. No waiting around for a call back from a nurse I may or may not have met before! Now let me tell you about my delivery. When I thought it was time to head to the hospital, I texted Carson and she met me at her office at 10:00pm. She checked me and then we followed her in our car to the hospital. She made sure we were checked in, showed us to our triage room, and then performed most of the triage services herself. Then she left us to make sure that the birthing room was set up, including hanging twinkle lights! Then, once I was moved to the birthing room, she massaged my feet with clary sage oil. Yes, you read that right mamas. She MASSAGED. MY. FEET!!! You will never have that happen with hospital staff, I promise you that! Carson did everything in her power to ensure that I had the birth that I wanted to, and it was truly incredible. In fact, I found out later that she had another patient giving birth at the same time as me in the next room, and Carson gives such undivided attention that I didn’t even know!!After I gave birth and went home, I unfortunately developed postpartum preeclampsia. I don’t know how I would have made it through that experience or the next 6 weeks without Carson. She was always available to me any time I had a question or concern, which eased my mind SO much.Carson is such a kind, caring, calming person. In my opinion, her services are worth every penny TIMES TEN!!! You can tell how much she loves her job bc of how she radiates joy. Carson is so special to our family and I HIGHLY recommend her midwifery services. Best medical experience I’ve EVER had!!!

I am a doula in the North Atlanta area and I recently had the privilege of witnessing Carsons compassionate nature, caring energy not to mention knowledge, at a birth I recently supported. In the birth community, when I find a care provider that encompasses not only medical knowledge, but true individulized care, its a win! She even was so kind to bring me coffee (as well as the birthing family) after a long night. She is a gift to the Atlanta community and growing families!

My wife wasn’t taken seriously postpartum . My wifes heart failure was avoidable. inability to listen and see obvious problems. I pray you can see through the finesse, “first class medicine “ we were told up front. Over 12,000 spent and my wife was constantly called “drama” once the bill was paid up. :-(The midwife even told my mother, who drove 9 hours to support my wife “are you still talking”? Like she can punk my mom or she’s better than everyone in the room is how it came across.I have never been so dissatisfied.
