I would give 0 stars. i walked in early for my appointment, and I had already checked in online. A woman walked in before me and was immediately taken into a room. I waited until I had to go to the desk and ask the woman if I would be seen soon. She replied that I don’t have insurance. I told her that’s okay I will pay out of pocket today.Whilst the other patient is in the restroom they pull me into her room and tellMe that the payment would be expensive that they would only give me the least expensive option, and they didn’t want to shock me. I told them that I was paying, and I understood. The patient walked into the room and was confused. I was embarrassed and stressed. Then I am taken back to a room where I discussed my chief complaint. I was not offered the option I asked for which was not very difficult to fill so we went to another option. I waited for a long time. The nurse comes in and literally jabs be in the arm with the syringe. Then I am prescribed another medication but not the emollient I which is a few dollars more. I was prescribed an ointment which I hate because it was a few dollars cheaper. All in all I feel this was an awful experience and had I had insurance I would have received the care I asked for and deserve to received. Would not recommend to a patient.
Got in quick, even though was a walk in. Check in process was smooth and everyone was so kind and friendly. The medical assistant noticed I was holding my head, I had a bad headache, and asked if I was alright and offered to get me a sprite or ginger-ale. Im 54 and all the times Ive been to a clinic/MD office Ive never had that happen. The nurse practitioner was very thorough with explaining everything to me also. I moved here a year ago and will definitely keep going to this clinic when needed.
Great experience all the ladies from the front desk to dr. Were exceptional, quick, knowledgable and caring. Got in and out in 20 min and the staff treated my 2 year old son like one of their own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!!
I showed up early to my appointment and the staff was able to get me in to see the doctor right away. The doctor asked me several questions. examined my issue, and had a prescription sent to my pharmacy immediately. I was in and out of the facility within 15-20 minutes. Great, quick service!
This urgent care is very good and if you have any problems you can feel better here. They are very nice and helpful. I do appreciate their support 🙏😊
The Dr. Mania (I think thats her name) she was FANTASTIC. She truly cares. Listened to what happened from my fall. What she recommended for RX has helped 100%.I visited July 13 on a Saturday @ 930 am.
The nurse practitioner was very nice. I was expecting a Doctor, but, the poison ivy problem I was experiencing, was easily diagnosed and I was prescribed Prednisone for 15 days. At the end of the visit, I was given the option of a summary printout of this visit. They are definitely working; my face has cleared up and I am making sure to take them exactly as the Directions instruct. If you skip taking them all, or decide to completely quit taking them a few days after the redness, swelling and itching begins to subside, the N.P. said that the P.I. COULD return with a vengeance, so, FYI.
I had a large lump appear on my body rather quickly and it was incredibly painful. The doctor I saw just told me it could be one of two things, but don’t worry about antibiotics and in two weeks when I was going back home I could deal with it then. I was in so much pain the next day that I could hardly walk, I think mostly because he had squeezed the lump so hard that I was on the verge of crying and when I told him it hurt, he went “oh really? Does this hurt” and he kept touching it in other ways. He told me that the lump was probably just dense breast tissue or something and not to worry about it. The next day when I was in immense pain so I went to the ER. They told me it was an abscess and that I needed to be on antibiotics immediately, and they were stunned that this doctor didn’t do any of that. if you’re worried about something, I would suggest going to an ER rather than seeing the doctor at this urgent careHe also had the nurse leave while he was still inspecting the lump on my breast, which made me incredibly uncomfortable because he was not only disregarding my pain, but I felt like it was just too much to be in a room alone with a man like that. I don’t mind a male doctor, but he literally just wanted to blame it on my genetics and tissue and not look for an underlying condition or help me solve the problem that was incredibly painful
Came here for a Covid test for travel. It was incredibly hard to find anywhere to get an appointment and results asap on Christmas Eve. I snagged the last appt online thankfully. This is my first visit to this facility and my experience was 5 stars. The front desk guy was super friendly and made check-in a breeze. The nurse was so sweet and check my vitals and performed testing in a timely manner. Dr B was so nice and thorough. Test results take about 10 min and I left with the appropriate paperwork needed for my vacation. The only bummer to no fault of this location is my insurance doesn’t cover the test so I paid $75 for the test and $125 for the visit.
Wonderful service. They got me in right away. Nurse practitioner Lauren was amazing. I needed an x-ray on my ankle because I rolled it and I wanted to make sure it wasn’t broken. At that time, there was not a tech to take an x-ray so they called another urgent care, and the tech actually came from Creve Coeur to the Maplewood one, close to, or if not after hours just to get that x-ray for me. I think they all went above and beyond. I will definitely recommend this urgent care. I want to thank all the people that were there that evening to help me and say thank you.
The nurse practitioner that I saw. She came right in listen to me and examined me and was able to figure it out. I was very impressed!!
Staff very pleasant. No long wait got me checked out and sent on my way in less than an hour from arrival. Thank you Maplewood staff❤️
We were visiting St Louis from out of town and my daughter was not feeling well so we visited this urgent care. The facility was very nice and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Making appointment on line was easy. they saw me on time and the staff were all professional, friendly and took care with my injury
All of the ladies here are extremely nice. From checking in to getting checked out myself. Saving my spot online is so convenient, I was in and out. The NP here, L, Carqueville is extremely nice and hears what I have to say and how I feel. I would definitely comeback.
My daughter broke her ankle. They got us in and out in under an hour even though they had to call in the x-ray tech. The nurse and his staff were really friendly and helpful.
The urgent care was great. The staff was friendly, hard-working, and it was a great experience and it didn’t take long at all. Thank you mercy, quick care.
One of the worst services I have ever received, they made me go to a pharmacy for some medication and they didnt send it and they kept me moving from pharmacy to pharmacy. The girl as soon as I told her that I dont speak English, she started treating me horrible, pure negligence in this place, I dont know how to handle it. they got their degree
Nurse Lauren K was dissociative. And was derogative towards the diagnosis and prescribing of meds. She lacks enthusiasm in her profession.
I forgot to check in online, but I still didnt wait long for the doctor to see me. The experience was excellent.
Dr. Olubaniyi has been my sons’ physician for a number of years. He’s ALWAYS extremely thorough, personable, & displays a genuine presence. Thank you Dr. Olubaniyi.
The staff here provided me with exceptional care from the moment I walked in.I provided my documents, things was blur a breeze after that. Keep up the great services!
Refused service to me saying my insurance is inactive . Horrible service the woman at front should b fired. I called my insurance and they filed a claim against them…
Seen pretty quickly, but our nurse practitioner was new/inexperienced. Could not locate the strep test strips in the room, misspoke about some common questions (covid and flu cant be swabbed by the same swab). Luckily, the other staff were really helpful and saved this poor NP. Still, not a trip that instilled confidence.
Caring professionals. Prompt service. Thorough review of medical history on file.
I had several terrible experiences with the administration, messing up my medical records with sloppy data entry, miscoding and charging too much to insurance. The doctors and nurses were all very nice and helpful, though.
I have a sinus infection, coughing up blood, almost fully cannot hear in the morning because of all the pressure, constant snot, Etc. Scheduled an appointment and was told at the counter by a woman named Jocelyn that I would not be prescribed an antibiotic, and that I should just go to Walmart. I mean, Ill take your money but you could spend less getting DayQuil and Mucinex. Kept repeating that shed just take my money, until I made my decision. Im horribly upset, I know she may have been doing me a favor, but I would rather have not even made the appointment if I was gonna drive 45 minutes nothing.
Excellent care from start to finish.Timely, courteous, professional staff!!Great location/recommend highly.
Went to Urgent care because I couldnt get in to see my primary and the level of care that I was shown was phenomenal. The staff was welcoming and kind. I told them before I left that any time I cant see my primary I would be back.
I love this urgent care. It’s always fast, the staff is friendly, and I consistently receive compassionate care.
Ive gone to this urgent care with my son before, walked in and was able to be seen within minutes. Today I walked in and before I could even finish my sentence to tell the receptionist why I was there, she interrupted me and told me to put a mask on. She then told me I couldnt be seen for an hour and a half. I asked if they no longer take walk ins and she very rudely responded that no matter if you walk in or not, you need an appointment. I understand if I need to wait for other peoples appointments but the attitude she gave me was uncalled for. I walked out and wont be going to this urgent care again, just for the horrible client service alone.
The staff were exceptional people. Not a very long wait time. Also, they took my insurance medicaid. I had gotten a lyft ride to another walk in clinic before yall. They didnt take my insurance medicaid. Thank you
I am so thankful for the staff and (NP) Ms. Carqueville. I got in fast, was met with an awesome staff that took the time to hear about my symptoms and provide a diagnosis quickly. They were so personable and empathetic! I enjoyed my experience. Thank you for seeing me and taking care of me!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The physician Kayla was super awesome.
I was able to make an appointment and get my son in within 30 min. The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful when my insurance was giving her an issue. Then the nurse and Doctor were wonderful with my son!! I would recommend to ANYONE who needs to see a doctor without being an emergency!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Quickly saw the Nurse practitioner, who was quite thorough. If you are a Mercy system patient, they can access all your medical records. But GoHealth owns this UC, so they create a new record for billing purposes, which slows the check in process. Nice clean facility.
This is one of best urgent care facilities that I have visited. The staff is very caring & friendly.
This was the fastest doctors appointment we’ve ever had. We walked in the door and literally within five minutes we were seeing the doctor. Very pleased with our visit.
The pleasant demeanor that the entire staff shared from the moment I walked into the facility was welcoming. The speed in which I was able to get in and out was amazing too. My nurse (Lauren) was very comforting and her fun loving personality put any anxious feelings I may have had at ease. Her concern for my well being was genuine and truly appreciated. Great job all around, Mercy- GoHealth team!! Thank you 😊
Worst experience ever. Made an appointment at 8, we beat the front desk worker. When she arrived. She played on her phone, never asked if we needed assistance. We didn’t see the doctor until 835 and we were the ONLY ones there
Nothing but positives: ease of check in, kind staff, cleanliness of office/rooms. The PA on staff was amazing & I didnt feel rushed out. She took the time to get to know my health profile & asked additional questions to make sure treatment was tailored to my needs. I could tell she genuinely cares for people.
Making an appointment is really easy and highly recommended! You are seen quickly and competently! Nurse Practitioner Lauren made our 1 year old son feel so much better with her patience, knowledge and expertise! She knew exactly how to heal and diagnose his illness and really reassured us with her confidence and care!
They was rushing me too quick and I was tryna see if I was pregnant because I had bad symptoms. Then the actual time for the pee to be tested was not completed fully because they was in a huge rush. Also they acted like I wasnt even registered in their system already for some odd reason when they found my name the first time found my old address and then tried to see they cant find my name
I’ve always had good experiences here, but I always schedule an appointment as well so my wait has never been more than 20 minutes. The nurse practitioner working today was so kind and comforting. It made me want to leave a review. She’ll probably never see this but she made a huge difference in my anxiety today while at the appointment.
This was by far the best urgent care experience. Easy to make online appointment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. FNP Mia was exceptional, had great communication and easily able to share her medical knowledge. Xray on-site. Highly recommend and thank you!
The Doctor listened to my needs and it was quick in comparison to the other two Total Access Urgent Care I already visited and was not seen by a medical professional.Mercy actually showed they are there to treat patients. It was a chronic issue I was seen for and was in and out within thirty minutes.
Someone at front desk to do a quick checkin without appt. (another urgent care said I needed to make an appt which defeats the purpose) Was seen quickly and nurse practitioner was very professional, attentive and helpful. Felt like she really cared. Overall great visit and service.
I would not recommend Mercy Urgent Care. I went here for ear irrigation due to earwax buildup. They failed to fully resolve the issue and referred me elsewhere. Then, they billed me $300.
Use the save my spot feature. Was seen and accessed and diagnosed within 20min. Staff was friendly!
The receptionist and DNP were very personable and very helpful. I was seen right away. The DNP took a look at me, evaluated and seemingly knew exactly what to do about my situation! I soon was released and Ive been making good progress. Awesome!
The staff was very friendly and courteous. The MD I met with was kind and compassionate. I was seen in a timely fashion and was able to pickup my prescription & get started on the meds. Thank you! XOX🥰OXO
The staff was wonderful. The receptionist was especially helpful entering me as a new patient. Dr Pi was so efficient and reassuring. I am happy to have a connection in my 2nd home St Louis. Also - I made the appointment online - picked a time - and was seen exactly on time.
While I ultimately was unable to check in (due to my insurance having issues on a holiday)I will absolutely go back there Id imneeding urgent care again. Unfortunately I had to go to the bjc er (they lived up to their 1 1/2 star rating), however due to my injury, the staff gave me ice packs and a bottled water knowing i needed to go check in somewhere else. Awesome customer service and from what I could tell, good bedside manor of the clinic staff. Super clean too!I will absolutely be interested in seeing how the rest of the experience would be, as I was 5 star happy with what I did see, and literally crying driving away knowing that the bjc er was my only option at that point.
The lady in lobby was very friendly , I come before my appointment but they took me right away. The nurse was very professional. And the dr. has very pleasant and good to find out what was wrong.Im giving 10 stars to all of them.
I’ve been to this urgent care multiple times for various issues - from shingles to strep throat! It’s usually very easy to get a same day appointment (it’s usually better to “save your spot” online vs. walk-in, although they do both) and I’ve always been seen quickly. Staff has always been friendly too!
Everyone was excellent. Was in and out in under an hour. My 2 y/o has medical anxiety and everyone treated her with patience. So gentle and understanding. Special thanks to NP Baker for making her feel as comfortable as possible.
I reserved my spot online and hardly waited at all, even with the clinic being short staffed. My MA and my NP (Lauren) were AWESOME. I would definitely return to this location!!
Professionalism and friendliness from everyone on the staff, from registration to the doctor that talked to me.i was registered quickly and efficiently. I was seen quickly and efficiently.i will say they were not busy when I was there for a preset appt . that I chose online.
Very straight forward. Was able to easily find appointment online and provide information. Quick check in and through staff. They listened to my concerns and discussed treatment options with me.
Went in for an issue dr made recommendations but didnt bother with x-rays. He also explained that I could be at risk for a blood clots but bc my skin Is darker he couldnt see my veins. That being said an xray or ultrasound was even more important. 6 days later ended up in the ER and I now know what was wrong and was properly treated.I tried to address this before posting to no avail. I also plan on contacting my insurance provider to let them know of the experience.I 100% dont recommend them. 1st and last time for me.Update/response to owner: I already did a contact me form. That was my first attempt before ever leaving a review. Your people dropped the ball.
If you go in for a rapid test, just know that you will most likely be paying $75 out of pocket for it, even with good insurance. The two day test they will bill your insurance for. I wish I would have known this while making the appointment, not when I got there for it. I put in all my information online and this was not made clear once during that process. I really needed the rapid test as I am an essential worker, so I fronted the money and signed a form acknowledging it. It seems as if they take advantage of people, knowing that the rapid tests aren’t as easily accessible and it’s hard to get an appointment. The lack of transparency and the feeling of being blindsided is rather disappointing. My insurance provider said that they cover all covid tests, so I’m trying to make an insurance claim on my own now, as other urgent cares ARE billing the rapid tests through insurance. I called Mercy Urgent Care’s billing department and there isn’t even record of my payment. Rather frustrating in a time that is already stressful. Other than that, everyone was nice and I loved my nurse practitioner. She was really helpful and respectful.
They were extremely nice and very attentive to my issues
Fastest urgent care service I have ever received in my entire life. Each visit here is always very pleasant. I recommend this location to anyone!!!
Like many others have mentioned, the doctor and service were satisfactory, but the billing process was entirely unprofessional.I took my son to Mercy-GoHealth UC for a COVID test on December 2, 2021. The test was supposed to be covered 100% by my health insurance, and I double-checked this information with the front desk at Mercy-GoHealth UC before the COVID test was administered. However, in June 2023, a year and a half after the service, I received a bill for $473 for that COVID test. I made several calls to both my health insurance company and Mercy-GoHealths agents. The health insurance company explained that they hadnt paid because Mercy-GoHealth used an incorrect billing code, and there was no mention of a COVID test in the billing. Three months later, the issue remains unresolved even after a 3-way call, and I received the same bill again.I strongly recommend avoiding Mercy-GoHealth UC if you dont want to spend an excessive amount of time and effort dealing with bills that you should not have to pay.
I walked in 30 minutes before closing and your staff immediately got to work on me! They were all so personable and kind and helpful to someone who cut their finger and never had done that before. I really appreciated their time with me! I was in and out within 20 minutes.
Staff member was quick and efficient. was excellent. She took the time to listen to me and take care of my needs. I appreciate here careful examination and patience with my case. My prescription was submitted digitally and was ready when I arrived at the pharmacy. Great efficient and caring service overall.
I cut my hand opening a can and immediately knew it was very deep. This happened at the end of the evening right before our kids bed time and right before this urgent care closed. They were extremely kind to me and worked their hardest to fit me in their schedule. Karen did an amazing job sewing my hand and was so kind to me. We live in the area and this urgent care will be my go to from now on. Thank you everyone for working hard to help me!!
It was a quick and easy process. Dr Hansen was knowledgeable and genuinely concerned for my wellbeing. I felt safe and comfortable there. Cant ask for more!
Second time I have used location. Staff was professional but also friendly. I was waited on right away they ask me questions and took time to diagnose my different area of concerns. They really deserve ten stars. This will be my go to place going forward. Highly recommend!! Kudos to entire staff 🥰
Caring peace ful environment. Staff very professional and time it is perfect for a person illness. I love Mercy Go Health Urgent care this is my second time use this service and will be my safe Health Care in future. I surely Recommend to any body
I waited under 5 minutes to be seen, but I couldn’t be seen until 5:30 - and I scheduled the appointment either the night before or the morning of. Scheduling on their website is an absolute must!! The N.P., Teresa, who treated me, was quick, but not rushed & explained treatment/medications clearly, but not condescendingly. There is a nationwide shortage of medical professionals in all medical settings including Urgent Care Clinics, which makes it increasingly more difficult to staff these clinics. The staff at this particular clinic are very, very good at what they do in spite of working every day at an under-staffed clinic.
Came to this location looking for assistance with a back injury. Came in and explained our issue and was told from the staff that they would be able to assist. Ultimately, we were offered Ibuprofen and to follow up with our PCP for physical therapy. We received no help and a $200 bill AFTER insurance.
I’m in grad school and on Medicaid and I’m so grateful to know I have a place I can go where care is covered but that it also feels like good care. It’s so easy to get seen here and I feel heard with my questions and not like I’m being rushed.
This place is just top notch! At 7 months pregnant and fearing that I had the flu we were on a mission at 8AM on a Sunday to be seen ASAP. We arrived and saw they didn’t open until 9 and thought about trying another urgent care down the road. It was such an awful experience we actually left after waiting around for an hour.. with no other patients to be seen. We came right back to this place bc anytime we have had to use them in the past it’s been flawless. This experience was nothing less than perfection. If it’s a Sunday wait the hour in the comfort of your home and reserve your spot online (which is so convenient) and spend your time with professional, helpful, knowledgeable people in a clean and modern environment. Thanks so much to the AM team on Sunday 2/23 for making this pregnant lady feel SO much better!
Wasted 2 hours of my life. Been here twice and both times my visit was not a good one. Specifically the Nurse Practitioner named Michael Puff didnt know his own company policies and wasnt very pleasant to talk to or understanding at all.
Sadly after getting billed I must amend my rating. I went in for tetanus and was lied to. I was not only told I had no record of a tetanus shot Which was incorrect. I was told that it would be cheaper if I saw a doctor and had a full visit. There was absolutely nothing wrong with me. I just needed a shot but I complied waited extra time and now my bill is massive. A tetanus shot is only $50 and my insurance covered most of that.
I work for Mercy. I came to this urgent care for an immediate issue. When i arrived there was no one at the front desk. There was a lady sitting 3 desks behind who mumbled something as I walked in but nothing else. I was not advised to check in on the kiosk and still wasnt greeted by anyone else for another 5 minutes or more. And i saved my spot online. This is definitely not providing the Mercy Experience at all...
They were amazing! So kind and compassionate. Showed me honest concern for my health. You dont find real people like that in the medical field. I know i worked in it for 25 years. They stand out with true caring merciful hearts along withe true knowledge on what tests to run. Thank you so much! They truly imitated Jesus heart and His healing hands!
I have heard horror stories of people waiting forever for Covid testing. It was great to come, sit safely (for everyone) in the car & then be called in for our appointments on time. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Thank you being kind & professional, and for listening and helping us in a timely manner.
I would recommend going to St. John hospital because the level of professionalism is excellent and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable.
Went for back pain radiating down my legs. Gave me predisone and Flexeril, the same exact thing the doctor gave me 5 days ago. And not even a steriod shot. She very convincingly lied and said the combination of the medications would help the pain within 30 mins. She said i needed more prednisone and to be tapered off it. She gave me half the dose the previous doctor did while she made it sound like she was giving me a higher dose and for longer. asked how as i had just been taking the same thing She said the combination is what works. So i said great, see you in another 5 days. She was using the computer with access to my prescriptions as she sent them in and didnt even bother to look at the dose i had just been prescribed. Idk if theyre always that laxy as it was close to closing time, no films, xrays, nothing. Or they may just treat anyone who comes in for pain the same way.
The place is gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are state of the art and the feel is very professional.I am not happy that they cannot draw labs or give fluids. I was told to contact my outside doctor to get labs done.If I would’ve known that in advance, I wouldn’t have come and paid the high copay. I could’ve gone to Total Access and had everything done there that I needed.
Went there last Friday for sun allergy and toothache. I was prescribed prednisone, eczema ointment and lidocaine. I asked if I would get an antibiotic for the tooth. My dental appointment wasn’t until 4/24. I called Monday morning to let them know that the lidocaine was not working, the pain is worse. I was told that they would send ibuprofen to my pharmacy but I have to go to the dentist for an antibiotic. I’m still waiting on them to send the ibuprofen to the pharmacy and it’s Tuesday 🙄
Appointment was on time and easy to make online. The physician was thorough and listened to my concerns and symptoms. My prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy. It was a nice , clean place.
I encourage you to find a different urgent care. They did not listen to my concerns and I truly did not feel heard. Besides the appointment, I have asked for an itemized bill 3 times and they tell me to call back next week. Its been 2 weeks since my visit and I cant get an itemized bill. Very frustrating. Once again, I feel nobody is listening to my concerns. Find a different urgent care.Update...I reached out to email that was given before the post and again today. NOTHING WAS DONE. Still waiting for an itemized bill. Shady billing practices. Find a different urgent care.
I made an online appointment for 8:00 am this morning. I got there 10 minutes early to get a flu shot. Walked in at 8:00 and 1 man was there and on what sounded like a personal call. After he hung up he said that other staff was going to be late for work due to traffic. A short while later he said it might be a while that I should go somewhere else to get the flu shot. He said that they don’t charge for it at Walgreens. NEVER using this place again!
Very nice place for quick Doctor visit or help with minor stuff. Very friendly. Fast. Very clean. Looks cool on the inside too.
Great place. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. No long wait. Clean and nice.
BEST doctor/medical office experience in a LONG time...- Took 2 sick kids in to be seen for sore throats/ear infections. The nurse AND to the nurse practitioner did a GREAT job with the kids. They were professional, thorough, courteous and just excellent people. Id recommend this facility to anyone especially those with young children.- Side note: The building was immaculate - inside & out.
I have changed my review from 5 Stars to 1 STAR. I went in back in October and had an X-ray done on my wrist, I was given a wrist brace and sent home.I received my bill and it was billed as uninsured, even though I have visited this location multiple times and they definitely have my information on file, also that’s a pretty important thing to double check that you have done right.I also received a call from a medical equipment provider who sold the wrist brace to the urgent care and they wanted me to pay for it.Long story short, this should have never happened, I should not be here writing this review, someone dropped the ball and it wasn’t me.When I went in to discuss this matter in 12/29/20 at 4pm the nurse who I am assuming was in charge asked me to sign a form, that was not filled out, when I said I didn’t want to sign it she refused to help me and said I had to come back the next day..as if time was going to change the mistake this location made.Completely unacceptable and I will not return to this or any mercy facility knowing what I know now. Save yourself time and please go somewhere that can at least bill your insurance as opposed to bogus untimely bills sent straight to you as “uninsured”.
The workers there were the nicest people ever. I didnt have an appointment and they squeezed me in before they closed to run tests on my issue.
Wow, i was impressed! I didnt feel well at all and didnt want to bother with an urgent care visit. I was diagnosed positive for covid19.The man who greeted me upon arrival was Joe. He was awesome, very courteous and caring. Thank you Joe!After he ran my covid test, i was met by Dr. Lickenbrock. She was wonderful! I felt very comfortable and she explained my situation very thoroughly. I am impressed! The office building was very clean and relaxed-feeling. Now i know if i ever need to take a trip to an urgent care, i will not hesitate to come to this one. Five stars, all day and tomorrow!
Thank you for being friendly, kind and understanding. The lady who took my test was my favorite covid tester by far, very gentle and understanding. Thank you to the NP for your empathy and letter for me to go back to work! I would highly recommend this location to family and friends, heck even strangers!
I did a teladoc visit virtually. I was told I need to go to this location to submit a urine sample. I waited 30 minutes for that of which I had to ask for to give the sample. Then I was told I need to wait even longer to have my vitals taken. In the midst of all this, there was a nurse (short brown hair) yelling at a patient, because she asked how long the wait would be as she has been waiting hours. I dont get if you have a virtual visit and go to submit a sample why you must wait as you would for a normal urgent care visit? Whats the point of the virtual visits? No time saved at all. I will be going back to SSM.
I have to say. They were all incredible. I wanted to write in to let Mercy know how great of an experience we had. The 4 people we saw were all UNBELIEVABLE with my 5 year old. We really appreciated them. And will always use that office when needed. Please pass this on to the Oakville staff.
I am very frustrated with the billing department for this organization. I called them today to request a refund of a double payment on my son’s urgent care visit. They asked me for all kinds of PII data to verify my son’s identity, then refused to help me due to HIPAA law. I tried to explain that I was not calling about PHI data or my son’s medical records, or the services my son received, but rather was trying to have a overpayment, which they could clearly see was posted on the account, refunded to my checking account, which my son does not own. Since this is an e-commerce transaction, it relates more to PCI rules, not HIPAA. However, the agent refused to speak with me any further, and would not escalate the call to a manager or supervisor. I had to call my bank to dispute the charges. Based on other reviews I’ve seen regarding their billing department, I imagine many people face this problem. I’ve already instructed my son to never go there again, as there are plenty of other services available that do not put us through this kind of inconvenience.
I was very pleased with the clinic. Ill go there again if necessary. Ive already recommended them.
I highly praise Dr. Karen Albers Lickenbrock and her staff at Mercy Urgent Care at Dierbergs on Telegraph Road. All appointments there were taken for that day and the next when I walked in with a nosebleed that wouldn’t stop. She graciously worked me in to their already very busy schedule. I don’t have the words to praise her enough for the care she gave me this past Tuesday. I highly recommend your Urgent Care and Dr. Lickenbrock and her staff.
Thank you for the kindness and professionalism of all the staff who work there. My son and I had a great experience in our visit!
Updated Review: Company is vague on how they will charge your insurance and refused to give me information about how my insurance was charged after I received a larger bill than expected. Through my insurance, I found out that this is because this particular urgent care charges as a facility rather than a professional office. Make sure your insurance has good coverage on facility visits before coming here; I owe over $400 for two scheduled visits that I thought would just have $80 worth of copays. I would have been better off WITHOUT insurance because of the uninsured discount.DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE BlueCross/BlueShield/Anthem insurance!!!Side Note: I went here twice within a month (which I wouldn’t have done if I had realized how they charged things) for an infected ear piercing, and was given bad advice and unhelpful antibiotics each time. I ended up having to go see someone else who was actually willing to look up current information on treatments, so I now have to pay over $400 for office visits that did absolutely nothing but waste my time. Even if your insurance covers this urgent care, I would go somewhere else for anything but simple tests that require no critical thinking or basic research skills at all.
They make excuses not to see targeted people (protesters/liberals). It was going to be my oxygen level (I called to explain I cannot wear a mask because of chronic respiratory problems, and they said if it was below 95 would send me to ER--told her that was not what I was coming in for and that the breathing is a chronic problem). When I got there, I was sitting in waiting area and went.back out to the car to get something. When I came back in,, I was short of breath. I wasnt checked in yet, but a woman came up and asked me if I had asthma. I told her I have a calcified lymph node from covid and was almost asphyxiated by freon in June,, so this is a chronic issue. She put the oximeter on my finger, and even though I was gasping for air, my O2 was 99. So she decided my heart rate was too high. I have medical PTSD and panic attacks in the medical setting and am in severe pain and have chronic respiratory problems from long covid (which is VERY COMMON, as are heart issues, but that does not mean that we need to be seen in ER), so a heartrate of 166 is not all that high (not to mention that my heartrate has always been high when checked in the medical setting, no matter how fit I was--even before the m-PTSD).She insisted I needed a workup they could not do. While I have been refused PROPER TREATMENT in most places, I have been sent for some pricey diagnostics. I have had a CT scan of my lungs and just recently had a chest x ray. I just had an echocardiogram done AT MERCY a couple of months ago. I have had bloodwork done several times in the last 8 months or so.This is not some type of mystery. Respiratory problems CAUSE elevated heart rate. THIS IS A FACT. AND I WAS NOT THERE ABOUT THE BREATHING. I am in severe pain due to inflammation and costochondritis (associated with long covid). Also have two rashes that need treatment. I needed my prescriptions (Prednisone and Furosemide especially) refilled. Prednisone helps with inflammation and pain and would have addressed the costochondritis (it is the main treatment I was getting for long covid). But they cant treat me at Urgent Care. Must go to ER. I am banned from all Barnes locations for complaining about abuse (which they refused to investigate; slandered me instead). Things are happening at Mercy and SLUCARE also. Denial of services. Irrational and abusive behavior.I have been told that there is no healthcare in St. Louis for liberals. After seven years of denial of services, abuse, malpractice, malfeasance, and cruelty, I guess I believe it.
My employer sent me to Mercygo Health UC for a Covid test on December 1 2021. This test my company insurance covered at 100% for all employees. Mercy billed me $30 which I paid. Later they tried to bill me over $400 for the same test. I got my insurance company and Healthcare Advocate involved and after investigation it was determined here that I owed $0 dollars and was due a refund of $30. I called 3 times over the last 5 months and asked for my refund. I still have no refund and I will continue to call until I receive it. Strongly recommend staying away from the entire Mercy Health Care network!!!!After posting this review I asked Health Advocate again to act on my behalf in recovering my money. I received an email from them and they informed me they spoke with MercyGo and that I would receive a check. I received that check in the mail approximately one week after my original post.
In spring 2022 this was a nice clean facility with what appeared to be working and up to date technology. They were honest about wait times and I was able to get in very close to the time I booked online and they treated me in a timely mannerBut they were apathetic in their medical interactions with me and by far the worst was that I could hear them through the wall talking badly about me and other patients.
I had an infection looked at, Lauren was such a sweetheart and kind...I felt I was in good care. Will come back again for future issues
The staff was great. They talked to us the whole time, they talked among themselves. They seemed go work well together. This location may be the only one I go to from now on.
Physician was very friendly and made my son feel at ease. The nurse or PCT that did his Covid test was gentle and kept him distracted throughout the process. Definitely wouldnt go anywhere else for future visits.
The online appointment sign up process was so easy. I was in and out in no time. My provider took the time to explain how my medications might inact with each other and I really aprieciated that. The facility was very clean and was a nice environment to be in. I would definitely recommend. Plus as of this review they take Ambetter and Cigna insurance.
Bad billing practices. Received large bill over two years after the service was completed. Lost opportunity to use flexible spending now must pay out of pocket. Disgusted! Will never use their services.
Doctors were fine, but I was incorrectly charged by their billing department twice. They messed up the billing on a family members visit as well. The support is horrible to work with as well and this office itself will not help you with billing at all. Just avoid and go anywhere else instead of rolling the dice on billing issues.
Learned yesterday that I had been exposed to COVID-19. Google does need to update its reference to walk-in testing at this location, as you can only get te]sted if you have symptoms. Cannot say enough good things about reception staff - I was greeted warmly, staff members explained procedure for virtual visit to set up testing appointment and helped me when I got stuck on my smartphone. Excellent experience-recommend highly!
In and out within 45 minutes. Got my x-ray quickly too. Everyone professional and courteous
I was treated almost as soon as I arrived. The staff was very good.
I was in and out within 30 to 45 mins. I didnt even have to wait I walked straight in and into a room after they confirmed my appointment and information. Very nice and professional staff. I will definitely be going back again if I ever need to
Of the 3 tests I have had to schedule in the last 2 months, 3 have been cancelled within 1 hour of the selected time via text, with no possible way to reach them (trust me, I tried). With how difficult tests are to get now, this is obviously incredibly stressful. Potentially just remove the scheduling from the site and let people know it isnt honored.
They charge an outrageous fee for limited service. $365 to do a test for strep throat! Avoid this place and go to Walgreens or CVS.After I wrote this review they contacted me to investigate the issue. I sent the information they requested and they never responded. I just got the bill today and no adjustment so Im assuming that $365 is their charge to do a strep test. Avoid this place like the plague! They overcharge and are poor in response!
It was super convenient to schedule ahead of going and to be able to fill out my paperwork ahead of time, too. Also, if I need meds, I can go next door to the Dierbergs Mercy Pharmacy.
The Doctor had a great bed side manner and was very reassuring of her diagnosis. I came in very comprehensive and she was able to put me at ease.
I was a walk-in but still got seen the same day even though it was busy. The people work hard and it’s clean and efficient. Hollis who was at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly. Appreciate the wonderful care 🙏🙏
I made an appointment for a rapid test, then told 4 hour before the appointment it’s gonna be $125 just to be seen and another $75 for the Covid test.If I can’t go to work over Covid HOW are you supposed to pay $200 outta pocket just to get tested. Plus isnt the Covid testing supposed to be free
Bad experience all around. Went there twice in one day staff ignores you the computer systems dont work correctly. They know what kind of insurance you have and when you show up THEN they tell you they dont take it.Went to Total Access Urgent Care it was great service all around.
The NP that saw me was condescending which made me completely nervous and unable to express myself. They dont do the on-site testing they say they do on the website. A waste of time and money.
Went in for an abscess and needed antibiotics. Was told it was herpes or shingles (never had chicken pox and am vaccinated against it). Fluid was leaking and the nurse practitioner asked if anything was recently put on it like ointment. No that is pus. Gave it one quick look and then wrote for anti-virals. Absolutely useless. The floors were caked with dirt and your shoes literally stuck to the floor. The trash cans were overflowing and it was very obvious nobody really cared about the patient. Go somewhere else.
They where very unpleasant I was told to come in after I called to see if I could be helped with stomach pains. I called to see if I needed an appointment due to covid 19. I was told no come on in. When I got there I was treated as if I violated a policy or something by staff. Then I was told they could Not help me. They would have to send me some where else for test by the receptionist. Not a good place for when you in need
Ashley and Dr Lickenbrock took wonderful care of Kristian. Dr L took her time and showed patience and true concern for his illness.
This is our third time here, and every experience has been great. I love the mobile scheduling so we don’t spend extra time waiting there. Staff is friendly. Services are convenient.
Understaffed, sending patients to Florissant. I got their last walk-in appointment at 5:30 pm. Theyre open till 8.Im trans and my preferred name is in CAPITAL LETTERS in my chart. This name was not used with me during my visit and I was called maam and Miss Cusick constantly. No one mentioned my preferred name until I was checking out. They also asked another patient the issue they were there to be seen for, right in front of everyone in the waiting area, and the answer was EXTREMELY private. I was embarrassed for them. All in all, they transferred my care to the ER and did not call in the antibiotics theyd said they would prescribe. I cant really rate their care. The staff I did see struck me as well-meaning but not particularly considerate.
Fast, friendly professional staff. Will continue to come to this location always and tell my family and friends how great your urgent care is!!
Nice, friendly and listen to me and understood. They showed me that they care. I had my prescription in a timely manner.
Although the waiting room was very busy, the social distancing was on point. I was taken care of as efficient as possible, and the staff was incredibly friendly. All my procedures were done with care.
Everything from setting up appointment on their app to checking in was fast and easy. Zero waiting time, professional staff, as well as kind.
It was very clean, it didnt take long to get seen, and my nurse was very nice and concerned about me.
The staff was helpful and easy to work with. We were in and out very quickly and received our test results within 24 hours.
Staff is super friendly and takes the time to listen to their patients and clearly explain their recommendations for treatments
Visited for an injury, and was in and out. Locations have changed, but the care and treatment are still great. Thank you to the people there, highly recommend Mercy Urgent Care.
Staff made me feel that my care was top priority. Everyone pleasant and cheerful while remaining professional.
Service was good. Billing system and staff are horrendous. Issue with bill due to them having our sons birthday wrong - would not fix and would not allow to speak with a supervisor. Avoid if you can.
Walked in for a covid test and the lady at the front desk immediately had an attitude. When I stated I needed a covid test she responded “yeah you and everyone else”. I wasn’t even in there for a full minute. Won’t be going back to this location. Staff has always been rude when I go here
The experience was great! Tiairra and the Doctor were wonderful. I always come there when there is a need.
The facility is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. Scheduling the appt was quick and easy. When I showed up, there was no wait and I was out of there in 10 mins.
With the COVID-19 rise I didnt feel as safe especially with some NPs not wearing mask
Quick care. Very professional. Actually listened to my complaint then did a focused assessment as opposed to listening to my complaint and then just providing a generic plan of care like I’ve experienced at other UC. Overall, great experience.
Be careful I went for a rapid test, for international flight they said it was $200 I got one for me and my son $400 total service was quick and friendly on-site today sept 9th I received a collection phone call they tried to charge additional money after my services were paid and rendered $250 more for not having insurance they said.
Very fast service, great customer service, I felt heard by the nurse & doctor when explaining my symptoms & got the help I needed.
Treated me as an individual. The staff was personable and engaging. I felt understood and respected
I showed up early for my appointment and was told that my appointment would not be honored. They allowed walk-ins to take precedence over people that booked appointments days in advance such as myself and others. My advice to management is to remove appointments from the website because they are not honored in the current way this place is run. Avoid.
I Went Mercy -GoHealth Urgent Care And They Did I Great Job For Me. I Highly Remmend AnyOne To Go Mercy- GoHealth Urgent Care❤
This staff doesnt know what theyre doing ever. Made the mistake of going here twice because its close to my house and both visits were a complete waste of time and money.
Checked in online and we were seen pretty quickly after arriving. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Even though we didnt have an appointment since it was an injury that day, they gave us fast and friendly service
The staff was amazing, scheduling online was too easy and getting me seen and checked out was flawless.
My experience here with the staff was most certainly the best EVER.they were so very concerned about how I felt making me the most comfortable and being so understanding to how I was feeling and quickly making me most comfortable and very kind informative. The best
The staff was beyond exceptional and the fact that I was able to schedule a time in from my phone and not sit in a waiting room for hours. Very gracious for my experience
Was very pleased with the way Dr treated me with compassion and really listened to everything. He was very thorough in his discharge instructions.
With a broken right foot, I feel I should have been offered crutches and having Rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. I purchased my own pair from Walgreens.
The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. It was the best Urgent Care experience Ive ever had.
Was seen quickly with online appointment. Very friendly knowledgeable staff
They were very personable and relatable. I really felt comfortable with them.
Easy online appointment, took care of all paperwork before walking in. Efficient check in and most importantly high level of care
The Maplewood location is state of the art and never a long wait. Florenza and the nurse there are knowledgeable and personable! That’s why go to place now.
Beverly is amazing! I used to have a regular UC, now mercy gohealth is my new one. When or if I have to go again, I hope beverly is my provider.
Staff is always great. Ive never had to wait and location is convenient.
Very nice place, clean, waiting time was a little long for being only one in waiting room but staff was exceptional! Definitely coming back to this urgent care
They were super nice and went above and beyond! My son had to get a throat swab and he was offered an icee afterwards!
EVERYTIME I come here I get told to come back 6+ hours LATER because they cant see anyone. WHAT is even the POINT of this place if they can never see anyone??? Absolutely AWFUL!
All the staff helped my son with his asthma crisis they went above and beyond thanks is not enough for such a great peopleWe are grateful.
They are quick and compassionate. I wouldn’t hesitate to return when in need again.
Very friendly and fast. Actually felt like they really cared about me
It is a good place to go check yourself but that floor never be mopped all those urgent care Maplewood Olive Boulevard and Manchester they never be mopped I don’t get it why they don’t check the camera every day they never bean mopped
I was in and out in a timely manner. No long waiting. The Nurse Practitioner was an angel
Hardly any wait time. Friendly, efficient, follow up testing and call afterwards.
Everyone I dealt with, from the front desk, the doctor who screened me, the one who swabbed me, to the one who gave me my results, was awesome! Ive already recommended you to others.
They were super kind and professional, saw my wife and I quickly and had us on our way!
Very fast and efficient and I get better immediately. Staff was friendly too
The receptionist and doctor were kind, understanding and most importantly efficient! Thank you for having such a convenient location.
Everyone that waited on me was great, especially the Healthcare nurse, Ashley.
Always quick to get you back and a very knowledgeable staff. This is my new urgent care!
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was seen almost immediately. They seemed to really care.
My husband and I have been to this location several times and on no occasion were they able to help us. Each time we were told that they weren’t sure what to do and sent somewhere else. The staff seem unprofessional and unknowledgeable.
I needed to get a Covid Test last minute, and they did everything they could to make sure I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. Thank you!
Christy and Beverly are wonderful. They treated me with skill, care, and compassion. A Team!
$288 bill for a COVID test. No mention of cost when scheduling the appointment or while I was there.
The staff was professional, efficient, friendly, and attentive. Great care.
This place is amazing. Friendly and helpful, even in the current pandemic when their job must be quite difficult. I highly recommend.
10/10 experience. Very helpful. Could not ask for better customer service.
The Doctor was amazing!
I felt that I was important. Everyone was so nice and caring. Made sure I understood , made sure I was comfortable.
Nurse practitioner was beyond amazing!! Both her and the receptionist were very warm and welcoming
Prompt caring and answered my questions.
I received awesome care there at the Maplewood commons location.
10/10- Prompt service, very clean, friendly staff, excellent customer service!!
First time visit on 8/22 by reference. Fantastic staff! Very helpful, friendly & informative!
I went in for Covid travel testing. Was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly.
The way the receptionist speaks to people is incredibly rude, and uncalled for.
Such a great staff. I was in and out. Everybody was kind and understanding.
Steven and Hollis were very friendly, attentive, reassuring, and helpful! Clearly very knowledgeable and competent. Thanks
Very attentive, friendly, informative, the center was clean, inviting....great care, great staff
The staff was great! Jaz and Dr. Beverly are both awesome!
You guys are terrible at answering the phone. I have called numerous amounts of times and I have gotten NO ANSWER! How is this urgent care and no one can pick up the phone? Not to mention I have called 14 times
Immediate action. Answered all my questions. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
