I am grateful for the staff and the care I received at this facility. I was able to “hold my spot” online and only had to wait a short time to be seen. Receptionist, assistant and physician were caring, efficient and compassionate. The facility and equipment were clean and well maintained. The caring nature of the staff is what really made this visit stand out to me as a good experience, even though I was there because I didn’t feel good.
The people were so very kind! I was brought to a room right away. The medical assistant, Katie, came in the room in just a few minutes. She put me at ease. Then the nurse practitioner , Stacia, came in and was excellent. So kind and reassuring and skilled. The whole experience was positive. Nobody wants to go to an urgent care, but if you have to go, this is a great one.
I went into the clinic for an injured wrist on Sunday, 9/22/2024. I will admit that I arrived to the appointment about 30 minutes early, however, the x-ray tech did not arrive until 50 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment time. Once I got the x-ray, the tech told me it would be another 30-ish minute wait when it had to be sent to the radiologist at the main hospital. (I would like to mention that the tech was the sweetest lady ever, and was honestly the highlight of the visit.) Less than 5 minutes later, the nurse practitioner came in to tell me “nothing is wrong with it, there is just a bruise, use ice and ibuprofen for a couple of days.” The official report states hematoma, but semantics. I asked to glance at the x-ray, because I’ve broken a few bones before, and always love looking at them. I noticed a line on one of my wrist bones. I asked about it and she stated, “that is nothing, just a shadow from another bone.” It is at this point I would like to note that the time it took for them to send the report to the radiologist, and receive a report back from said radiologist was less than 4 minutes. Per the official report in my chart. Well 5 days later, my wrist is still blue, twice the size of the other, and I have probably 20% function. Went to an orthopedic doctor at another provider today. That “shadow” is a fracture. The orthopedic doctor was shocked at “how they could miss this.”I was telling family about this and one of my family members had the exact same experience with this provider a few years ago. (The same wrist too!!)I don’t know how well this provider does regarding the sniffles or a scratchy throat, but I would not bother wasting your time if you are injured.
Go to Total Access Urgent care. Hardly spent any time with me. This place was a waste of time and money. Did nothing for me besides take vitals and a Covid swab. The NP acted like she was in a rush, but no one else was there. I even work for Mercy and cannot recommend.
I would never recommend this location to anyone. I took my son because he had been battling a cold with a cough that didn’t seem to be getting better and then his fever came back. It was Saturday late afternoon when we took him in. They first took his temperature incorrectly, and recorded it as him having no temperature at all. After administering a negative strep and Covid test, the PA ended up misdiagnosing as swimmers ear. She was also very rude to me when I asked questions. I ended up taking my son to his pediatrician two day later. He examined our son and ordered a chest X-ray. The results were pneumonia as well as an inner ear infection.
Tried to go into the clinic to see someone and get some advice about a finger injury but left immediately after the front desk lady treated us so badly. She immediately met us with attitude not believing my issue was that big of a deal, saying there’s not anything they can do for me. And rudely asked if we were doctors when we asked if it was really her place to determine that. Will never be returning to that mercy and if you see this you started it from the very beginning with your terrible bedside manner lady.
Went with a Co-worker ( City Employee) to the new Crestwood TAUC and it was useless. She was having breathing trouble and heart palpitations and they didn’t even listen to her or take a BP or anything! Just said go to ER. Now I know there’s a stethoscope somewhere in there right??! Absolutely useless. She could have went to Dierbergs and been told the same thing. What a useless space.
Font desk lady is very rude. I walked in with my daughter worried and distracted and didnt realize she said hello. She said HELLO again obviously annoyed at me. I said good morning and then stood there for at least 5 minutes while she ignored me. I didnt realize I was suppose to sign in at a kiosk because I didnt see it. Every person that came in after me she told them to check in, but she let me just stand there waiting.
The techs and PA that saw me were all so kind and attentive. They got me in right away and the whole visit took maybe 20 minutes. I had a great experience here.
Everyone there was very friendly and knowledgeable . Nurse practitioner Smith was terrific. I was able to make an appointment online and did not have any wait time at all.
The kindness of the staff as soon as I walked in the door and not feeling well made me feel at ease. The doctor took time out to ensure I understood my concerns and followed up with questions. The doctor took the time to ensure I understood my after care instructions and made me feel as if I were the only person at the urgent care by paying close attention to my needs.
After first going to another UC where I was quoted a 2-hour wait then offered an appt. starting almost 5 hrs. later, I scheduled an appt. at Mercy UC for 1 pm (less than an hour after Id tried at the other UC). Check-in was prompt and I was escorted to an examination room. Staff members are friendly and treated me with courtesy and respect.
I love how thorough they are with my son. They take their time and answer every question I have. Ive been there multiple times with my son and they are always so patient with him. He has speech sensory issues and they accommodate that to the fullest.
Check in is ghetto and unprofessional. Hardly any talking to patient. I was pointed to a room not walked to it. Before labs being drawn or an NP visiting me I was told by assistant (unknown title) that was to go to ER. NP came in, asked 1 question and suggested ER. I am a nurse. ER was not the appropriate approach. Labs should have been drawn and test done. But nope. I was turned around and after the welcome it was probably best. Poor care from door to door. Poor care from walking in to walking out.Avoid these establishments. They are money grabs not patient support.
The entire staff took excellent care of me!!!!! There was not a long wait. I got in immediately and was examined and treated. It was all good!! I Will definitely go there again for urgent care!
This urgent care is incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. I took my daughter here twice. After explaining her symptoms they never once tested her for anything. She was misdiagnosed which sent her into the hospital with respiratory distress for five days. We went back a second time months later to give them a second chance. Same experience staff were rude an unprofessional regarding my child’s needs. They misdiagnosed her again for the same thing strep throat. They never once swabbed her throat after we told them she complained of sore throat. My child got Scarlets fever twice due to misdiagnosed and untreated strep throat. My friend went to this location for an illness today. The PA argued with her and refused to give a doctors note for work. The tech was very unprofessional and was mumbling under his breath. When she asked him to repeat himself he snapped loudly at her multiple times. I do recommend the mercy urgent care in Kirkwood!
The front.Desk person was very rude. All she did was play on Her phone instead of checking people in the medical assistant. He also.Played on this phone and his shirt was so wrinkled. Stood up and stretched walked around a little then came in the p. A. This time was very nice
Incompetent and questionable medical advice. Wouldnt bring my dog here. The NP was particularly rude and wrong in her diagnosis. The staff was more concerned looking at baby pics on the computers outside the treatment rooms. Also, talked about how much they didnt like their jobs. It was my fault as I should have gone to the ER first but I thought since this was a new location, maybe they had competent staff. I was mistaken.
I can not express how good this Urgent Care is. Laurie the Nurse Practitioner, is excellent.I have been in a few times and have alway seen Laurie. She is the best. The MA is very good as well
Great experience here. They quickly helped. The nurse practitioner, her medical assistant, and the receptionist were all very on top of things and personable.
Great experience! I had saved my place online before arriving, I didnt have to wait to be seen. Staff was excellent. Office was very clean and organized. Besides the fact that I had a broken foot everything else was great!
Everyone there was so kind and helpful. I had a very short wait time since I was able to register for an appointment and advance. I left feeling better and with prescriptions that would help me continue to feel better. Thank you so much.
I scheduled ahead and had a quick and easy experience getting in to be seen. I had already messaged my doctor on mymercy, and the provider had looked over my message and pictures and had an idea of a diagnosis. Once confirmed, I also found out she had already checked that the prescription I would need to take was safe to take while breastfeeding which was greatly appreciated.
This new clinic is just what our area needed. Booking an appointment was easy, and I was seen right on time. Very good service!
I took the time to fill out all the check in information online and when I arrived I had to give it all again. The receptionist at the check in desk seemed very confused. No one had any idea or information to help me log in to My Chart. When I tried to call the My Chart help number, I had to leave a message and so far, no one has called me back so I cannot see my daughters test results.
Terrible front desk/medical assistant staff. Incompetent, slow and rude. Upon voicing my frustration to the PA, the PA acknowledged the front desk staff member would not be employed much longer but it was out of their control. Unacceptable. The medical assistant also administered tests before I was evaluated by the PA, despite me asking to be evaluated first. They were not busy at all (2 other people besides me, and they were being seen together in 1 room), my visit took 80 min. I had to go to my primary doctor the following day as I was not diagnosed/treated properly. I sent in a complaint via their website (as that is the only way to contact Go Health) and have not received resolution.Update: over one week later and Go Health still has not called me to discuss my situation, despite multiple emails stating that I will be hearing from them shortly.
I was told what I most likely had, but the facility doesnt have IV fluids like other urgent cares. Didnt get a doctors note as promised for work. They basically just said if your symptoms worsen over the next 24 hours go to the ER.Also, Ive never been asked by a medical professional what was your main purpose of coming here?
The healthcare providers at this location are unprofessional. I walked in with my son who had been experiencing nausea and vomiting. Upon walking in the nurse/ med tech (White, heavy set woman) yelled across the room “what are you being seen for?” . I explained my son was sick with possible food poisoning. She yelled again, causing other parents to turn and stare “we can’t see him for that. He had to go to the hospital & get blood work & CT scans”. As a former employee at a local urgent care, this was the first time I’d heard of an urgent care not seeing someone with nausea and vomiting. I was also astonished this woman was screaming in the waiting room, making a scene.I exited the building went to Cardinal Glennon, sat for 3 hours with my son. No blood work, no CT scan. Only a physical exam & vitals which the urgent care should have the competency to complete & a prescription for Zofran.I typically go to the Mercy GoHealth near Walmart & they are NEVER yelling at patients or blatantly turning people away. DO BETTER!
Failed to inform me when I scheduled at 9 am for a 4:30 appt, that I would have to bring a form of payment, I now have to wait to schedule an appointment with another urgent care that actually wants to accept insurance. And the way I was treated when I Walked in the door, no one was nice at all, I was just basically ordered around, no wonder people don’t trust doctors
The nurse practitioner was in a rush even with no other patients at the time. Did not heard my concerns, and her recommendation was not professional.
The provider and receptionist were incredibly rude. Online and on the phone they said they were accepting walk ins. I asked if we could sign in as walk ins and they argued with me about my kid’s symptoms loudly in front of the other person who was waiting. The care provider kept saying “I can’t promise anything”. Like duh… of course you can’t promise anything before you see them, so please just take a look at my kids and see if there’s anything you can prescribe to help them… it was absurd. They continued to loudly question me, and it was like they were trying to get us to leave. There was one person in the lobby, all the rooms were open and only a couple of names on the screen. They never offered a wait time, and when I called to talk to higher ups about their behavior I was told they don’t have a number. I highly recommend the Maplewood location, they’re kind and attentive, and the physician is wonderful.
I visited for a sinus infection I had been battling for 3 weeks. I had already tried OTC decongestants, but I still couldnt kick it. The doctor checked me out and basically said there was nothing to be done and told me to continue taking decongestants. I challenged her and said I wouldnt be here if I didnt think I needed stronger treatment. She then said she would prescribe antibiotics, but didnt think they would help me. My thoughts were, then what will help? Its your job as a doctor to make recommendations that will treat my ailment. Whether thats allergy medicine, nasal flush, or even an ENT. The doctor offered none of these suggestions and instead told me to continue doing the OTC treatment that obviously hadnt been working. If youre reading this, save yourself some time and frustration and find a different clinic that offers better medical advice.
I tried to drop off a sample for the lab, but called ahead. Good thing I did, I had been told by my doctor that I could drop-off at Quest or Mercy. When I checked I was told it had to go to Quest labs, and that they only take samples collected at their location. I told her I was instructed it could go either place, she said, I was wrong and was given the wrong information. The phone call was very confrontational, rude, and ultimately I was hung-up on. I will never go to the Crestwood location for anything after that, and I live within walking distance!
Staff was very good. PA was very thorough in the analysis of my problem and gave good instructions on how to proceed.
Always able to get in and out of this place very quickly they know what they’re doing and take care of you right away. Thank you so much
I saw this nurse practitioner today, and let me tell you, they were so rude and dismissive of what I was saying. It was like they didnt even care or want to listen to me. I tried to explain my symptoms, but they just brushed it off. They didnt even bother to test me or anything. And to top it off, they spoke to me like I was beneath them. What a frustrating experience!
The woman at the desk was so rude. Then another woman came up to the desk and sat in front of the computer. Then she spoke to me without looking up from her computer! She said call your PCP we can’t evaluate you here. So I guess if you need an x ray to rule out a fracture, this is not the place. If you want to be treated poorly, this is the place. I really had higher expectations based on other Mercy facilities.
We got in quickly (used the online scheduler) Everyone was so caring and compassionate. The doctor was thorough and patient!
First visit and not impressed. The lady checking me in at the front counter made inappropriate remarks around my copay. She told me “you can save yourself time and money by just staying home and gargling with warm saltwater”. Clearly I would not seek treatment if that was the only issue that I had. I will not come back and will continue to go to Total Access.
I went here for a sinus infection. Ive been getting them for well over 30 years so I know the symptoms. I moved out of state 7 years ago and I know Mercy used to be excellent. The nurse practioner came in and was with me for less then 3 minutes. She told the green mucus doesnt mean anything and to take a decongestant. When I told her I get them at least twice a year she just said Well we dont have your records showing that and left the room.I went to another Urgent care the next day and they actually took the time to look at me and guess what? I have such a bad sinus infection I required a shot plus 2 prescriptions. I didnt even have to mention that I get them regularly. So I got the care I needed somewhere else I will be going there from now on and my family in STL will know not to go to this location.
The staff was friendly, fast, and new what they were doing. It was a pleasure going to that urgent care
The appointment was scheduled with ease and I was seen as soon as I walked in. The staff were all friendly and very professional. Will definitely use the facility again.
We were a walk in an hour before closing and they worked us in quicky and were extremely friendly.
Every single thing! :) We had Katie & Stacia, phenomenal! From the reception up to the minute we left, nothing could have gone better. Ive told everyone about how great my visit was! My son had a bad persistent cough & I developed my first stye, both of us were in and done in 30 minutes, medicines called in and 2 days later and were almost 100%! Thank you ladies!
Easy to schedule appointment and check in; prompt, courteous, professional service; squeaky clean.
This was a very nice urgent care. It was easy to save a place online (make appointment). They waited on me promptly. Listen to what my issues were. I would highly recommend this urgent care.
Excellent, I didnt have to wait long, and the staff wasProfessional, friendly, and thorough!Thank you😊
The visit was quick and painless. They got me checked in quickly and sent me to a room almost immediately. They checked my vitals quickly and got the prescription I needed for my sickness sent in right away. And my appointment was done within 30 minutes.
The receptionist was so rude! I walked in and she just stared at her computer. She eventually looked at me and asked why I was there. She then rudely stated “You just told us your problems and didn’t say you were here to be seen.” I thought walking into an Urgent Care and specifying my problems might have been a hint that I needed to see a doctor.
The receptionist and doctor were very polite and caring at the Crestwood location ,nurse was a bit robotic.
I would suggest going to a Total Access Care. Absolutely awful experience. When told to go back to a room, it was still dirty from the previous patient. Test with biohazardous material still sitting on the counter. They will write you prescriptions for meds that can be bought over the counter, for much cheaper. They are trying to feed the Mercy pharmacy business at your expense...
The staff were friendly and professional. We got prompt attention and the attending NP gave good care.
Not a good experience. The PA that saw me acted like she had better things to do than to listen to me. I walked out thinking well, that was a waste of my time. Perhaps theyve gotten better over the weeks that theyve been opened, however I will never know because I wont be visiting again.
Have never in my life walked into a urgent care or hospital that was so unwelcoming with a child. I was suggested to come here by our pediatrician because they didn’t have any appointments available but that’s the first and last time.
We did not have a good experience here. I feel that the PA that saw my daughter was not very knowledgeable and she didn’t listen to our concerns. Don’t waste your money and find better care for yourself and your family.
It was an excellent experience I received what I needed in a timely fashion.
Very rude front staff . Tornato spoke with no empathy was very short and rude when addressing . I would avoid coming here from that alone when you have urgent concerns and have worries regarding if youre ok .
Staff was quite friendly but professional. They asked if I understood what they were telling me because I’m a little hard of hearing. Really nice people and it’s convenient to drive to.
NP/MA awesome. In and out quickly at a time when I was feeling horrible. Highly recommend!!!!💕
Tremendous service and care. I was in and out quickly and on to my healing.
Very good experience, easy check in, staff is polite and very professional.
Very quick! Staff was very friendly! Place was very clean! Thank you!
Quick check in and the Physicans Assistant was very kind and professional.
$150 dollars upfront to be seen is ridiculous. After waiting 45 Minutes to be told that. Will never come back here, shouldve just went to the ER. Its where Im heading now anyways.
Easy to get appointment.Treated right away.
Everyone was knowledgeable and professional. Provider explained everything in detail without a rush. Definitely recommended this location.
I was taken care of immediately by friendly, professional staff.
White working men need not go here. Place is full of Karens and attitude.
The PA (Laura) was excellent! The reception people were not friendly. Thankfully the PA made up for it.
New office that is very clean and modern. I experienced fast, friendly service during my visit and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
