This is the first time I used virtual appointment with this office. It was great, no technical issues, Dr. Smith was right on time. He listened to my issue and was able to help me right away. In addition, he went the extra distance and made a call to a specialist to request an expedited visit for me regarding an ER visit the day before. I didnt ask him to do that, that was all him. In addition, the next day, I had a question I needed help with regarding the visit with him the day before, I left a message for him and he called me back, asked how I was doing and answered my question. Excellent job Dr. Smith; thank you very much.
It was a Saturday, my elderly mother tested positive for Covid and her doctor’s office was closed. After getting nowhere with the answering service, the advice nurse said to look up urgent care locations on their website. I found Go Health and was happy to find virtual appointments available. She was scheduled to talk to a dr in an hour and though the forms were tedious, it was ok. The dr prescribed medicine to pick up, but Safeway didn’t have it. I called the virtual team back and Adriana was nice. She said she will call other pharmacies to see if they had the medicine. I was finally able to pick it up at the local CVS. They were quick and helpful, very glad to find them.
Made an appointment the night before, when I went to the appointment the next morning as I was arriving I received a text that my appointment was canceled and the clinic was closed. Tried to call to find another nearby location since I’m visiting from out of town and after listening to an extensive amount of menus, the line to an operator was not answered.
Visited because my 13 yo had an eye injury. They got us in and out quickly. The doctor there was able to make a referral to the pediatric ER, who was waiting for us with all our information already entered into their system.
Excellent experience starting with the front desk staff, then the healthcare assistant, and last to the physicians assistant. All were knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Highly recommend the folks at the Market Street location.
I came in literally 1 minute until closing on a Saturday afternoon and the staff accommodated me. So very grateful! They are kind, professional, knowledgeable and quick. Thanks again!
Had a medical emergency pop up while I was out of town, and I was treated promptly and with good communication by a very kind doctor (I think his name was Dan) who listened to my concerns and gave me good advice. Grateful to have had the help in a difficult moment while out of my comfort zone. Very friction-free visit!
Selah and Melissa were really attentive and communicative! At the other location, Reianna was very helpful as well. I felt cared for while I was with them.
I paid my bill months ago, and theyre still sending me bills and threatening to send me to collections. I have called and emailed multiple times, and they repeatedly assure me that the bill is paid, and then the following month they send me a new bill. I have had a combined six email threads and phone conversations with them, and no matter how many times I contact them, they keep on sending me bills that Ive already paid. Please consider going to another urgent care nearby to avoid this mess that Im still dealing with.
Such a wonderful staff, very helpful with information regarding payments, self pay wise and the services they offer. I needed test to be done by a PCP and they were kind enough to offer PCP referrals so I didnt have to pay self-pay !
When I arrived to Dignity-GoHealth on Halloween night for chest pain I was really nervous as I have never been to urgent care before. The staff was all women at the time (which I loved) and I was able to been seen very close to the time I online checked-in. I felt that everyone working was super patient and empathetic while also taking my concerns seriously. They even gave me and my sister Halloween candy! When I was given the OK to leave I felt that things were explained to me very clearly and I left feeling a lot less scared by the pain I was experiencing. I would definitely go to this urgent care again and would recommend this place to friends and family. Thank you so much!!
Honestly and genuinely very impressed by this place and the level of care Ive received here.Ive come a couple of times for minor ear problems because its faster and easier than lugging myself over to my PCP, and have always had a quick and seamless experience. Ive always made an appointment through their site, which is incredibly simple and quick to do.Yesterday I ended up having a panic attack unlike anything Id ever experienced before, chest pains and tachycardia and the whole nine yards. It was very scary, but I happened to be a few blocks away and while a part of me felt ridiculous seeking urgent care for a panic attack, Im so glad I did.I walked in without an appointment in the middle of the afternoon, was checked in within a couple of minutes and was being led into a room. The staff were absolutely lovely, accommodating, and treated me with the utmost patience and compassion when I really needed it most. They were thorough, and even did an EKG to make extra sure everything was okay. The doctor on site, Dr. Park, spent plenty of one on one time listening to my concerns and ensuring I was okay, and was very kind about a very difficult situation. While there was ultimately not much they could do to treat me, simply being in an environment that was obviously caring helped calm me down tremendously. This is some of the most attentive medical care Ive received, and from an urgent care clinic no less. Would absolutely recommend checking them out the next time you need urgent care, without a doubt.
I went there 2 weeks ago. They accepted my insurance and nurses saw me for just to tell me to drink water for my sickness. I been experiencing COVID like symptoms but have no COVID and I was desperate to be seen by a doctor. Today, I went there again; Monica at the front desk told me they don’t accept my insurance & I cannot self-pay as well. They refused to see me without any reason. I went to their website’s system where it shows that my insurance is in-network and got an appointment without any problems about the insurance. When I went there at my appointment time; they told me that they don’t know my insurance would cover and I may have to self-pay. I spoke with the insurance company and they said it covers. I listened the rude front desk, insurance company and the manager, back and forth. I went through a mental health crisis in front of them because of this. I asked them if I can speak with manager again, they told me that people have lives. At the end I told them that I can self-pay, they said we can’t see you, we are closing.Overall, they do not treat people fairly and confuse their patients. They do not know which insurance they accept. I feel like they cause more harm than good. They failed to diagnose me and on my 2nd visit, they refused to see me based on their perception of “insurance & self-pay not possible”. They fail to provide quality and inclusive care.
Going to the doctor’s can sometimes be nerve wracking but I’ve been to this location now twice for urgent care needs and both times, left feeling like I had been heard and well taken care of. Both the doctor and his staff were amazing! So happy to have got in for an appointment and was easily able to get antibiotics! Thank you so much!
We had a vacation emergency - they were so kind, saw us right away and took care of our issue in a sensible way. As good experience as you can having going to urgent care on vacation!
Ive never had a better experience with healthcare in this nation. That says a lot, too. The front desk employees are incredibly welcoming, and the doctor is compassionate and knowledgeable. He fully explained everything to me in terms that I could understand. Im happy that a facility like this exists in one of the biggest cities in America since it provides a secure area for everyone in the community who needs medical attention.
The girl at the desk didn’t know the difference between an ultrasound and an xray. I could say more but I think that speaks for itself.
The online appt platform was easy. Communication with staff via text was very helpful. The actual visit was very seamless. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. Facility was clean and tidy. Doctor was thorough and very personable. Id definitely come here again if needed and recommend to friends and family.
An excellent experience. Thoughtful medical advice, was able to set up an appointment with urgent care quickly via my mobile.
Beautiful, clean facility and friendly staff. I made an appointment ahead of time. I came in with low expectations, mostly because I have an eye problem that clearly needs an eye specialist of some kind; I was only in urgent care because an advice nurse had urged me to go. I fully expected the doctor to say: Boy, you really need to see an eye specialist -- dont drag your feet! and kind of end there. The doctor I saw was wonderful. She confirmed I need to see a specialist (as expected), and gave me a Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C for getting in front of one ASAP. She was also compassion, efficient, gave clear instructions -- everything. Id go here again in a heart beat. THANK YOU ALL!!
Came here on a Sunday because of pain in my foot. Overall, was a positive experience. X-rays were taken at the facility. Film was read and the results were inconclusive.
Overcharged for a simple evaluation. Not transparent.
Amazing doctors, Nurses, and physician assistants. Takes their time to know the patients and do the tests they can and consult other doctors if necessary. Amazing care.
Timeliness, friendliness, professionalism, quality/competence of all staff members and physician.
The best health care experience I have ever had in this country. And that says a lot. The front staff are beyond friendly and the doctor is empathetic and knowledgable, sufficiently explaining everything to me in lingo that is accessible. This hospital is a safe space for anyone who has health needs in the city, and I am grateful a place like this exists in one of the biggest cities in America.
The doctor was very knowledgeable and pleasant. They Uberd me to and from another facility that had an X-ray tech on the premises so I didnt have to ride my bike through the rain.A+ customer experience
@1600 market street, San Francisco, California, Male doctor was hiding inside somewhere. We only heard his voice. The front desk lady is doing all his work. We are there to see the professional doctor NOT the front desk clerk. Just to let you know all they have a sign saying written something like “ they deserve a respect” but what about our hard earned MONEY we pay for 2 hours of doctors visits.
I went to this urgent care on 5.29.2022, 6.3.2022, and 6.6.2022. On my first visit, I was seen promptly and had my vitals taken, received a COVID and Strep test (both negative), and was seen by a doctor shortly thereafter. I had some minor cold symptoms and was told to treat them with OTC methods. Then my symptoms worsened. I got a sore throat and cold sores on my lips. On the 2nd visit, I was prescribed an anti-viral for herpes and cough suppressant for the throat. I was also told to take painkillers as needed. The symptoms worsened and I was in pretty bad pain all around. On the third visit, I felt neglected. The doctor seemed to have forgotten to come into my room after the nurse took my vitals because I waited a long time and the intake nurse seemed to have thought my room empty and was surprised to see me when she walked in and said shell go get the doctor. I had a fever of 100 degrees. Then the doctor then swabbed my cold sores to test for herpes and told me the test would be finished sometime later that day but I should continue finishing the anti-viral. He didnt talk about running more tests - if the facility wasnt equipped to do so, he could have told me to go to different urgent care. He told me to just sweat out the illness with painkillers too. He didnt ask if I had any questions. When he was leaving, he didnt tell me if I needed to wait in the room for the nurse to finish up with me or if I could just leave.Today on 6.8.2022, I went to the San Francisco Hospital Urgent Care and the quality of care was extremely different. The nurses and physician asked a lot of questions, explained why they were ordering certain tests, and explained everything they were prescribing me, including antibiotics. They prescribed me generic Tylenol and lidocaine for pain management too.I am going to stay away from Dignity Health.
Lady at the front desk was extremely rude, did not help me out a whole lot when she saw I was injured, I just walked out after that
Great service and understanding had never been there and was a workers comp, was in out very fast. Courteous staff.
Fast and efficientFriendlyProfessionalI had a really last minute visit, the clinic was able to take me in very quickly, with surprisingly little paperwork. Both the nurses and the doctor demonstrated a lot of care to not just my symptoms but my overall situation as well.Thank you!!
I came in on a Sunday morning and they were truly fantastic! I have had bad experiences in the past with urgent care but this by far is the best urgent care I have ever been to. Its clean, high tech, and the staff is so friendly. Also, they are SO quick! I got there on a Sunday morning at 8:30 and I was chatting with the doctor by 8:45. I highly recommend coming here for any urgent needs!
So I “made” an appointment for my son this morning for 11:31a at the 2288 Market St location. We arrived with a few minutes to spare. At check-in, the receptionist informed me that I’d actually made the appointment for their 1600 Market St location, NOT the one I came to. 🤦🏾♂️Way to go, Damon. He was super helpful and asked what my son was being seen for so that he could verify whether or not the 1600 Market St location could actually accommodate him. X-rays? ✅ They do. This gentleman even sent them a message explaining our mixup and let them know we were on the way…..We’re there about 15 minutes later. The receptionist greeted us warmly and got us checked in. Monica at the 1600 Market took us back to an exam room and my son squared away. Then Melissa, the PA, examines his hand and they did X-rays on the spot. Melissa came back and reviewed the X-ray results with me, encouraged me to take photo copies of them for further reference, and advised us on next steps and at home care. So now the will follow up with the pediatrician and Ortho. I just wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful people at both the 2288 Market St & the 1600 Market St locations of Dignity Health Urgent Care. We really appreciate your graciousness in accommodating us when the mix up was totally my fault. Thanks again. We know where to find you guys when there is a need. Much love. 👍🏼
My most heartfelt thanks to this outstanding clinic. I started with a telehealth appointment scheduled 2 hours after I booked it, and the doctor gave great advice to get physically looked at and found a way to get me scheduled for that afternoon. Then the doctor on site gave me great advice to go to the ER to get a CT scan and blood work when I thought it was a minor issue. In fact, I had appendicitis, and had an appendectomy performed. Thank you all!
Paul K (PA) and Sophie (MA) were fantastic. Thank you for your care
So convenient and I really trust Dr Dan. I’ve taken my kiddos there numerous times and always gotten incredibly quick help from the great staff and doctors. Finding this urgent care has been life changing.
Feel sorry about this kind of health care in San Francisco city. I went to Dignity Health-GoHealth Urgent Care, 1600 market street Yesterday and received no any clue what is going on with my health. I still have nausea and headache. My chest is still very heavy. I always had lower blood pressure. But I found myself that my pressure has gone up. I wasted 250$ for waiting a doctor to see me, but I was left with the front desk and a small guy who said himself a Health care provider. He looked so confused and helpless. Can anybody please suggest, where can I go and treat myself. I need medication help.
On 5/4/2022 I happened to be the first patient when I walked in as my appointment was at 8am. The two women at the front asked for my insurance, and without looking further into it decided my insurance was not accepted. They really didn’t care how I felt and brushed me off to let me know that it would cost me money if I payed out of pocket. They referred me to another clinic and stated that “maybe” my insurance would be taken. I decided I didn’t have the time to find out as I was in pain. Since I was a veteran, I hesitated to contact the VA as sometimes it takes forever to be seen. But I was desperate and decided to contact the VA and they referred me to a community based clinic, which was also a go health clinic. When I arrived at the go health clinic, the front desk lady asked if I had additional insurance and I stated that they wouldn’t accept it because the other clinic didn’t. She looked at my insurance and informed me that my insurance was accepted and that I should have not been turned away. I found it inconvenient to be turned away without checking as I was dealing with a lot of pain. I felt it was racial bias as they didnt bother to check my insurance thoroughly. Insurance seems to be more important than the patient’s health. I’m a veteran with ADDITIONAL health insurance and I was brushed off and turned away.
Staff was amazing, super sweet, they saw me immediately. The fact that they had an x-ray in the facility is a HUGE plus. Highly recommend
Got there with Strep throat and fever, nurses were very nice, did a swap, and told me to wait for a doctor. The doctor showed up with an attitude “ Ugh what are you doing here “ told me that I need antibiotics and he’ll send it to my pharmacy on file. It will take 30 min Ok...2 hr later no prescription on file at my pharmacy. And theres no way to reach that location, no email, and a phone number is a general phone line that only has automated response.I had to reach to my primary care doctor to get antibiotics
Do not ever come here. Worst customer service. Sucks you dry of all your money. Granted, I did not have insurance. 250 dollars for just a visit when I already knew what I had, I just needed medication. Got hit with a surprise medical bill from a third party lab testing company for another 200 dollars. 450 dollars total for a very very simple diagnosis. No prior notice of where they were sending the samples. When I called the response was we have no control over what the doctors do, sorry. Too bad too sad was the vibe I got.Oh, and I got a call from them later on telling me that the doctor had prescribed me the wrong antibiotics. Wow.
Unlike the three other so-called urgent care facilities we went to or called, Golden Gate actually operated as you would expect from urgent care - anyone, anytime. You dont have to be an already established patient, or a member AND it doesnt matter how old you are...yes, they will see children! And the care they provided for my son was EXCELLENT! All of the staff were genuinely friendly (unlike One Medical Group) and treated my son with care. The facilities were also great. As an out of town visitor, Im thankful we found Golden Gate Urgent Care. It turned out my son had strep throat and high fever. They immediately administered Advil and a prescription for antibiotics. We waited less than 10 minutes from the time I started filling in all of the usual paperwork (on a tablet). Thank you for the great care!
Ive been in twice for urgent needs and Ive been impressed both times. The facility is nice, the assistants are friendly, and the doctors both times have been friendly, professional, skilled, and spent the time to figure out what was wrong with me, without rushing me through a timed visit. The second time they corrected a misdiagnosis by my primary doctor. I only wish I could use these doctors as my primary care. Thanks!
FILING A GRIEVANCE ON MELISSA JUNCKER. YOU ARE A PATHETIC DOCTOR I HOPE THEY SEND YOU MY EMERGENCY BILL
Really was treated like a friend who cared about me. The nurse made me laugh and relaxed. And the physicians assistant prescribed the perfect med to crush COVID. So theres a lot to like about Dignity Urgent care!
My daughter was not feeling well on vacation. Found this urgent care near our hotel and signed in online. Place was clean and guy at desk let us in early to sit. Everyone was very polite and they got us checked quickly! We were in and out in less than an hour.
Great affordable option after hours and on weekends. I was here 2 Saturdays ago when I was having 104F fever. I called Pacific Family Practice who is usually open till 4pm on Saturday, but they told me they were fully booked for the afternoon but suggested that I come to GG Urgent Care. When I called the Market St location as they are the closest to me, I was told that they no longer take appointment for the afternoon but I could walk in and the approximate wait time was 30-45 minutes. I got here ~20 minutes later and was able to check in and complete the new patient registration on their iPad - I love that its paperless and they take my insurance. The estimated wait time on the system was close to 2 hours but I ended up only waiting ~an hour before being seen by a nurse. There was some more wait for the doctor (Physician Assistant) after the nurse took my vital stats, but overall it was a good experience. This was my first time at an Urgent Care facility and Im glad to find this option as an option between primary care and the ER.
This is my second time in this urgent care and the experience has been fantastic. I didnt have to wait for too long, even though both times I walked in (I didnt have an appointment). The staff is very nice, they really make an effort to make you feel better.
I came in after a painful fall off my skateboard. The receptionist was amazing on the phone and in person. The facility was impeccably clean and the PA & RN were knowledgeable, kind and attentive. I wish all my urgent care experiences were like this.
Came in for a foot injury. The office was bright and clean, and the staff was super nice. My doctor took the time to explain my diagnosis and listened to me. He even showed me on Amazon what kind of ankle brace I might want to get in the future. I did not feel rushed. I made an appointment and only waited a few minutes.
Had my first vaccine dose here exactly 4 weeks ago. I had my second scheduled for tomorrow, but Im finding out now that the spot is temporarily closed. I havent received any communication about this closure. Im not sure who to reach out to for the scheduled vaccine since the phone number seems to be unserviced as well. Can anyone advise?
Nice, clean, kid-friendly office and helpful staff. I hope to not be sick again anytime soon, but if I am, I will definitely come back here!
It was very clean and organized but too slow and the nurse was not so competent; not being able to do IV in a proper way after many injections. They could have asked the MD to do that instead but they simply said we cannot do it.
Amazing facility and service! Doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful
Coming from Australia where we have a very affordable, professional healthcare system I was slightly concerned about seeing a Doctor in America, particularly in a major city such as San Fransisco. Anyway, I made the appointment and from the time of the phone call my appointment was 30mins later... I arrived, booked in and saw the Doctor right on time. From the girl on the front desk to the Doctor, I was very impressed with the entire team at the Golden Gate Urgent Care Doctors. The cost of my appointment was $256 which is slightly expensive but worth it when you need a Doctor.
I had 2 appointments for 2 PM and 2 15 PM for my 2 girls to do physicals @ 200 a piece. We arrived early. And were asked to sign in. At which point the front desk lady said that I needed to sign myself in. And not the girls. 40 min later, after 2 people who were walk ins were seen before us and were behind us on the list, she finally said that I made a mistake and needed to sign both in... she made a mistake. Tried to blame me for it and now 1 hr later, we are being seen. I am sure the care is going to be fine... as I wait for the dr. But, the front desk lady has no idea what she is doing. Do NOT go here.
I was on my honeymoon and was not feeling 100%. Went to Golden Gate and they were prompt, extremely helpful, and wonderful to be around, even when delivering the news that I had the flu. One of the best urgent care experiences I have had.
Great place, lovely service, friendly folks. Thats where this ends.Went there for a swollen ankle. They were nice, asked questions, took my vitals.... Did not touch my ankle or even look closely at it. Just told me I didnt need Xrays and they could refer me to a podiatrist. How are they sure I dont have a hairline fracture? This seems to be a common theme with medical care in this country.
This was my 3rd time here over the past 3 years and Ive alway felt very welcome, compassionately cares for, and pain free. Although one of the staff members was pretty rude and condescending to me, I still really liked everyone there and they did good job helping to manage my pain and suffering quickly get X-rays taken.
Do not go here for a covid test. There is no ventilation and you are in a closed waiting room where you would be with other potentially infected people. You have to wait in person for a verbal test result (instead of getting a text) and the staff was very rude. I heard them talking about me and wondering why I came in if I’m having covid symptoms and why I didn’t go to a drive through. They should not be offering covid tests if they don’t want people with symptoms. They should also make it clear online that this isn’t a drive through and does not have an outside testing site (I wouldn’t have booked it either). Apparently the staff doesn’t realize how hard it is to get a covid test appointment right now. Awful experience for a sick person to go through.
Very poorly run. Would give no stars if possible. Every time I come here they make me provide the same insurance and personal info into a different system and email them an insurance card. I’ve forwarded that same email at least half a dozen time to them on other visits. I’ve come here twice in the last two months and gotten up and left because they have me filling in my entire life history on an iPad when none of the info they’re collecting has changed in the 18 months I’ve been coming there. Each time I am using a different patient portal, most recently, the one they were using would not accept names with apostrophes, so good luck entering in your Irish mother’s last name. When I’m sick, dealing with incompetence on top of going to the doctor is too much to ask. The only reason I come here at all now is proximity to my home, and I’d be better off hiking across the city to someone actually taking care of my health info and streamlining visits.
It was Friday and I knew I was sick. My primary care couldnt get me in, so I decided to look for an urgent care facility.Golden Gate Urgent Care got me in within an hour, was able to diagnose my strep throat, and even gave me meds to treat my symptoms and a shot of antibiotics on site. The staff were friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Its nice to know I have a place I can go if my primary care cant accommodate me at the last minute. Thanks Golden Gate Urgent Care!
Dr Sable-Smith and his MA Cindy are a paradigm of exceptional, considerate and professional medicine. The exam room was immaculate and all were punctual. Indeed, commendable!
These guys are a joke. I work for the Army and had work related injury before the holidays so I went the nearest Urgent Care facility. Little did I know that they have NO know idea how process a simple form (DA-16) that I got from work to give and fill out which actually goes to the Dept. of Labor. In fact the Doctor refused to take 5 min to fill it out so I had to have my Doctor do it which he really didnt want to do it either since the document does ask for the people treated me to fill it out. Then they send me $710.00 bill (instead of sending it to the Dept. of Labor like they should have) for an X-ray, visit and a stupid wrist glove. During my urgent visit and all the times I contacted them explaining what needs to done was a waste of time they are doing and they were not courteous at all when dealing with them. Do not go there unless you have too!
Horrible attitudes and service. I got there before they opened to be the first walk-in given no appointments were available, was clearly the first patient there and registered by a long shot, and they still proceeded to talk multiple walk-ins ahead of me. I politely inquired about why this was happening and got nothing but eye rolls and attitude.
Staff was helpful and the office and exam room were clean.
Just returned--- called them on a Saturday at 10:00 am -- got an appointment at 11:00 am---hardly waited at all. Very clean modern. Saw Dr Connell -- told her about my cough that I was dealing with for a week after 3 weeks of a cold--- Chest X ray- diagnosis of Pneumonia - left with an Rx for antibiotics and was on my way. Here is what I found out. This small group Urgent care offices are NOT A CORPORATION. It is owned by a couple of MDs who took a chance when they saw a need in the community. Bottom line ... When you own it and are there--- it is much better service and care. Give them a try.
Careful and kind staff. Clean environment. Wait was unnecessarily long especially considering I had an appointment coming in. Saw a few walk-in people get care before me. Maybe there is a good reason but would have liked an explanation.
Made an appointment in advance, and still had to wait more than an hour to be seen by a physician. Doctor spent
Do not go here for flu shots.I visited to get a flu shot, and they would not honor my insurance for it. It sounded like a policy they have, but Im not sure, as it was not well explained. I have visited in the past, so I know they accept my insurance. Very odd. Anyway, why pay $40 out of pocket here for a flus hot when you can go to the Walgreens across the street and get it done for $0?
Visiting from out of state and needed urgent care because I have a complicated history and am elderly. I received quality care and Medicare covered it.
I was in SF for a vacation and had caught a cold. Went to this urgent care because my insurance has them listed as a First Health Network provider which is covered. Golden Gate Urgent Care refuses to work with my insurance for the claim and instead is repeatedly coming after me for payment. My insurance has assured me my visit is covered and they have not received a claim (from Golden Gate Urgent Care) and even connected a 3 way call to work things out. Golden Gate Urgent Care does not seem to be doing their due diligence in their paperwork claims and instead is passing it off to the client. They are now threatening further collection methods in their payment notices. This is very frustrating. I can not in good conscience recommend this health care provider.
Everyone was knowledgeable and efficient. The center was also very clean. My prescription was sent over immediately. Will come back when needed.
Scamsters charged $337 for a general office visit!!I had a common cold and they didnt perform any tests, do any procedures or even give me a medicine but advised to buy Ibuprofen from CVS.Wasted 1 hour in the clinic even though I had an online appointment.I showed them my insurance card and they confirmed it wouldnt cost anything to me but eventually charged me.Stay away.
Super friendly and professionalLove the ease booking appointment online and no wait time!
I entered Golden Gate urgent Care suffering from severe diarrhea and stomach cramping. It took a monumrntal effort to even get in an Uber and drive to Golden Gate. By the time I got there, I was going to the bathroom every 3-5 minutes and could barely stand up from the abdominal cramping pain. The nurses at Golden Gate examined me and had some compassion but were overall very mechanical and did nothing to help me medically. Although I told them this was the second episode in 3 weeks, they did nothing to help me think through whether this was a virus, parasite, or food-borne issue. The nurse told me there is nothing they could do and I would just need to flush my system. They gave me Zofran for nausea, told me to take some Immodium and called it a day.I then spent 3 nights in extreme pain, sweating and writhing on the floor as I purged everything. At the end of this, I went to One Medical. They gave me a full examination, prescribed a medication to relieve the abdominal cramping (could have used that 3 days ago), gave me a stool sample kit to test for a parasite which will take a week to process (again, would have been nice to get that started earlier, Golden Gate), and pointed me to some helpful probiotics and foods that would help replace the good bacteria in my stomach.I bring up this competitor to show the difference in care between a facility that is merely a pass through for the emergency room and a facility that is able to think about the patients wellness and getting them better. It seems like for the incentive for Golden Gate is to write you a script and get you out of there. If I were you, I would opt determine whether or not your malady is truly urgent. If so, go to the ER. If not, go to a place that actually has a vested interest in getting you better.
I was a walk in. I signed in and was seen within 5 min after completing paper work. Everyone was very nice. The doctor listened to my symptoms. He prescribed and explained thoroughly. I give the visit an A+.
I flew in to SF and within a few hours felt terrible. I visited this facility. I was seen promptly and was given a prescription for antibiotics. By the next morning I felt like a new person and I was able to enjoy my visit.
They do not share any cost of getting a Covid test but require you to accept their terms beforehand. Highly unethical business practices imo, especially considering their talk of Christian compassion. This is not what one would expect from this kind of institution but rather transparency and trust-building measures.
The woman who answers your phone calls is extremely rude and unhelpful. She clearly does not want to be there nor does she want to help patients. She’s extremely disprectful to people who are VULNERABLE (we are calling urgent care for a reason) and she has no reason to be working here.
Very kind staff, took wonderful care of my wife and I. We needed a COVID test to take our cruise and they went out of their way to get us everything we needed.
The receptionist was efficient and friendly. And the Nurse/Doctor was very skilled and friendly. It was a great visit.
Well organized. Accessibility to all services between clinics. Very efficiently run.
While the facility was clean, the physicians assistant spent less than 5 minutes with me, hardly looked into my symptoms and misdiagnosed me. Will not be coming back, and I would advise against visiting this facility to all. Not worth the convenience.
Dont come to this place if you have an urgent care health issue, they are never available, answer the phone. I even scheduled a virtual visit and no one showed up, no call no show very unprofessional.
While visiting my son and fiancé from Philadelphia my wife began feeling dizzy, nauseous, tired. We thought it was from traveling or perhaps the hills of San Francisco. The next day things got worse and went to Golden Gate UC. After some initial testing the Physician Assistant referred us to Davies Campus of CPMC. It turns out my wife was losing blood, was anemic, and needed iron. Two units of blood and a night stay in the hospital and she felt a lot better. Thanks Golden Gate! One more thing, before leaving the hospital that P.A. called us in our room to see how we were doing. Who does that? And, when we got home to Phili, she called our home and left a message. Unreal! Thanks again!
I’ve been to the location twice in a pinch and will never make the mistake again. I’ve never been treated so marginally and disrespected. I highly recommend that you go elsewhere. UPDATE: Since originally leaving this review I have been fraudulently charged TWICE by Dignity GoHealth in spite of not having been back.
Thank you to Dr. Park and to the amazing staff who were so attentive and showed me great care. If I ever have an urgent need again, I’ll definitely be back!
Really helpful staff and knowledgeable doctor. My visit was east and efficient. Very ideal experience. Thank you
Staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I walked in and thought I would have to wait 1.5 hours but I was seen within 20 minutes. If the need comes up again Ill definitely be back.
I was a walkin day after thanksgiving. Great customer service and patient care. Super friendly! I will be back well hopefully not but if needed I will be back.
I would like to give them much more than 5 stars . The customer service there really nice and helpful they glad to answer me every questions and also the doctors and there staffs are so nice too.
Location is helpful, trying to contact them after for any reason is impossible. The number listed isn’t active/never answered. Then they send you to a voicemail box that’s full and it hangs up on you automatically. Ridiculous.
The receptionist was slow and triage personnel were rude and acted like we were inconvenience. The PA was good however and was quite helpful. I would go elsewhere unless you are out of options
Efficient and professional telemedicine visit.
Fast service, nice staff, great doctor who followed up with a phone call for test results
Veronica Bocanegra was very warm welcoming, professional and had great customer service! I would definitely come back just for that service!
The staff was very attentive to my condition and I felt treated with care
The staff was knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and efficient ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Horrible business practices, no transparency over cost. Not what I would expect from a Christian institution. Very unhappy with this provider and how they try to overcharge for Covid tests.
Great service by professional staff.
The provider and staff were very kind and gentle and friendly which is very appreciated when one is not feeling well
I was very lucky to get my 1st dose at this location and I really appreciate their patience with me (I was very nervous) THANK YOU!!
Absolutely worst place. Took 2 weeks for blood test results. Staff and doctor absolutely clueless. No professionalism. Just stop practicing you guys.
Good experience, made appointment, might have been first one of the day. Convenient online booking. Staff friendly.
Friendly and professional staff. Lots of space, low wait, quick attention. Really appreciated how much they seemed to care.
Tried to charge me $402 instead of $298, and the $298 included an unnecessary $37 pregnancy test (they didnt ask whether/what kind of birth control I use or tell me they were going to do the test.)
Appreciated the quick reception and warmth from the staff - the doctor made me laugh too which definitely helped
My experience very very good; I just wish I had seen a doctor instead of just a nurse
Smooth experience (online booking, small queue, good staff) and painless procedure
The Doc was very caring and thoughtful!! I was visiting from out of town and I was very happy to get some help.
The staff was friendly yet very professional and helpful. It was a very positive experience.
Very caring doctors and staff. Ariana was excellent
The receptionist is very rude and needs a lesson on how to treat patients with kindness.
Booked at 5am when I was sick and couldnt sleep, was in by 8:15am and out by 9am with a prescription and on the road to recovery.
Great staff, very helpful for pediatric urgent care
The service was amazing, all staff are nice and kind.
Woke up at crack of dawn to be seen in a timely fashion. It’s 15 minutes past when they’re supposed to open. Disrespectful.
Very caring staff. Was seen quickly. Very clean.
No one picked up the phone, said their mailbox is full. 9:00am on Monday morning.
It was a very quick and easy process, and the results came back fast
Great service, everyone was very nice
Everyone was really nice and they took care about everything very fast.
I cant even get ahold of anyone to ask a question or get an option to do it online. Live chat refuse to answer and their mailbox is full. Very unprofessional
I would give 10 stars if I could . Everyone was great!!
Really nice facility, friendly staff, came when there was no wait
Golden Gate Urgent Care was efficient, immaculate, and effective! A great option!

Fast, efficient, friendly. Great staff.
Was a straightforward and easy process!
Good and professional service.
Amazing!
They are very expensive!
Sheer excellence!
Very unprofessional.
Terrible experience
It was a very good experience to come here. Both nurse and doctor were understanding and skilled. Definitely a place I will go back to if necessary.
Very friendly and competent. They resolved my problem efficiently and quickly. Good communication and patient follow-up. To recommend. Thanks for everything!
