Showed up for my appointment at 11 and ended up leaving at 12 after not being seen. There was 1 other person waiting when I got there that was leaned over sleeping. I watched like 10 people leave but no one was called back. I got a call at 1 from them wondering where I am. I cant believe they expect people to wait 2 hours. Why not schedule people for a later time. I guess it doesnt really matter to them as long as THEIR time isnt being wasted.
Really positive experience with my provider, she heard my concerns, explained my treatment options, and gave a relevant recommendation based on my symptoms, comorbidities, and medical history. Friendly staff as well.
Front of desk and the nurse practitioner I saw were friendly, helpful and informative they were great and I had a good experience. Total time it took was about an hour ish. I came in to get STD tested so I got my blood drawn. This was the first time after getting blood drawn I had bruises and my arm was sore. This was also the second arm after the MA missed my vein in the first arm. If you have to get blood drawn ask for Tammy, apparently she does it best? I hate to do a review like this when the majority of my experience was great but I’ve never gotten bruises from a blood draw— just wanted to forewarn and help anyone else.
The receptionist was polite but I had to leave when it was 40 minutes about my appointment was supposed to start and no one had called me back yet. If you have indefinite time probably fine otherwise use a different location.
Absolutely amazing patient care. Everyone from the front desk, medical assistants, nurses and doctor suko were very thorough, professional, informative, caring, knowledgeable and provided excellent compassionate care in a timely manner. even though there were technical difficulties checking in, the front staff worked around it and handled everything with clinical excellence. my appointment ran smoothly. i felt very safe and that i was a priority and my concerns were heard. Thank you!!!
I came in for a procedure, and I was informed to bring the full amount with me, because they couldnt proceed until it was paid in full. Now, months later, I found out they sent me to collection because I still owed over 500 dollars, because they charged me wrong, Ive never seen someone charge you wrong and then send you to collection for their mistake. Ive never felt so disrespected.
Edit: you guys responded to my review faster than MY EMAIL I SENT DAYS AGO AND MY REQUEST I SENT IN WEEKS AGO. No im not responding to your feedback email, refil my perscription!I am so unbelievably tired of planned parenthood, I have been going to PP for 3 years now, from California to Washington. I have been denied my prescription, told I have to make an appointment before they give me my prescription only to be told I need to take my prescription WHEN I DIDNT HAVE IT BECAUSE THEY DENIED IT! I go in this ENDLESS cycle of being denied my prescription for some reason and then having to be off my prescription for weeks to months on end, only to go back on it for a month or two and then Im denied again. Im so unbelievably tired, no one answers the phone when I call, no one calls me back. Im so tired. The receptionists at this location are great and as far as I know the doctors are decent but I havent had more than a finger prick, PLEASE REFILL MY PERSCRIPTION
Incredible staff. They care so much about the comfort of their patients. The experience was so much better than my usual doctors visit. The building even has a mini museum that takes you through the history of womens health and reproductive rights. Take a look while youre waiting. Youre in great hands here.
One of the doctors at this location has caused me years worth of trauma from my IUD insertion. I scheduled an appointment and upping arriving I was asked if it would be OK if an assistant could observe for training purposes to which I agreed thinking that was all it was. when I was set up to get the IUD the doctor handed the assistant the tools as I was in the stirrups and unable to object. The Assistant probed inside me for what felt like 15 minutes of excruciating pain saying they could not find where they needed to put the IUD. The doctor then grabbed the tools out of their hand aggressively (while in me still) and jammed it in me inserting the IUD and rapidly taking everything else out. I was in so much pain I don’t even remember leaving. The doctor was cold mean not sympathetic did not stay afterwards to talk to me and did not seem to care at all about the ordeal I just went through. I had to get the IUD removed two months later (at a different location) because it was causing excruciating pain.I have refused to get any sort of medical work done in the 2 years since, I have refused to let any doctors touch me come close to me or have any “student” sit in a room with me during any kind of medical appointment. I even got different insurance i pay more for so I never even have to go to Planned Parenthood again. I have called a few times to try and get the name of the woman who did this to no avail.Do not go here and do not trust that every woman doctor will treat your body with respect.- response to the response -I have called your offices on multiple occasions and haven’t been able to reach anyone. if there is anywhere more specific to reach out please let me know
Everyone is friendly, respectful, and professional. had no issues with my appointment for routine STD testing
Probably the worst planned parenthood location I’ve been to in Seattle. In prior experiences and at several other locations, I’ve been able to be seen 10/15mins past the appointment time. There were no other patients left to be seen and was told they couldn’t take me in for my appt because they were wrapping up for the day even though the clinic closes at 4:30pm not 4.
Came in for an iud insertion, honestly 10/10 experience. Seamless appointment scheduling and intake, strong attention to privacy and respect, and my provider was super sweet and easy to talk to, ask questions, etc. It made the otherwise uncomfortable experience practically painless.
Deeply concerned about my recent visits. Pretty sure they mixed up my test results with someone else, as several inconsistencies regarding past partners and confirmed-negative-results have come up since my results were received. All attempts to call the clinic directly have failed as there is no direct number, and I am not interested in waiting for someone to get back to me who is not a doctor and who cannot confirm the sequence of event which took place during my visit. I also cannot get ahold of them to ask them to change the pharmacy Im using. As a result I now need a secondary test at another location, and cannot get the prescription needed because the pharmacy the prescription was sent to is not contracted with my health insurance. They could have given me the treatment right then and there, but instead decided to rely on insurance and pharmacies. Between this and the confusion regarding my results, I do not trust this place. If they would just put an actual phone number for us to call half of the problem would be eliminated, but frankly I dont have the time to wait around for someone to call me back who isnt going to have the answers I need, and then have to schedule ANOTHER appointment and hope things go right. Instead, Im going to have to make an appointment at a Zoom care or something to try and get results.
We had photo ID and insurance card, all info matched, yet we were turned away from an appointment we waited a month for because some fields on their system returned blank. If you go here, make sure they input your insurance before you arrive so you arent rudely turned away and sent back with another appointment a month out.I thought PP was here to help women get their healthcare quickly, efficiently, at a fair price but clearly theres more to the story....
This clinic should be investigated.Katherine and Zoe (they jump between clinics) put the wrong IUD in me after I told them repeatedly that Im allergic to it. It feels like it was on purpose because of how many times I said it. Zoe also pricked my finger at angle that caused me pain for over 2 weeks. Tammy the clinic manager didnt offer a solution or apology. She said shed take care of payment for the corrective insertion but instead made me pay.Ask for copies of everything and watch them take equipment out of its packaging.Dont assume theyll treat your body with respect.
This was the first time I have used Planned Parenthood services and I am beyond thankful. Yesterday afternoon I called and they were able to set appointment for me this morning. Since the moment I arrived inside the facility to the moment I walked left, I was comfortable, treated respectfully, cared for and truly felt secure never feeling ashamed or pressured in any way. I was there for two hours, and everything that happened was explained and the women who supported me there were compassionate, respectful and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend this organization and location for anyone looking for any service they provide, which is a lot. I just wish there was more I could do to show my appreciation for what they did for me. Thank you Planned Parenthood!
I had an amazing experience here. I was super nervous as I had never had this procedure before but I can say that the anxiety beforehand was way worse than the actual experience. Im not sure what I was expecting but the entire staff was kind, warm, professional and knowledgeable and they all had a super good vibe to them and I felt super comfortable in their care. This is such a vulnerable space to be in (especially during Covid when nobody can come into the building with you) and they made it as comfortable as possible, despite that. I would say if youre on the fence with anesthesia - go for it! The IV part went smoothly and I woke up and it was over and I had zero pain or issues and got to leave within 20 minutes of the procedure being over. I kept thinking how empowering it was to be in a building full of people who were undergoing the same procedure with a high amount of care in the face of some ongoing and very damaging politics going on in this country and how lucky I was to live where I live. Thank you for existing and being so solid, Planned Parenthood!
I usually have really good experiences at PP. Maybe this location is just too busy to function properly. The staff was perfectly friendly and not the issue at all. My issue is my prescription was supposed to be sent 5 days ago. It was never sent and when I called to fix the issue I was left a voicemail from my practitioner that she had sent me the a prescription for something I wasnt even diagnosed with! Not even the same info she gave me at my visit. Ive called several times trying to get things figured out and emailed and still havent gotten an answer and have not been able to start my treatment. I dont even understand how you can mess up this bad with someones medical information. I know this location is a busy one but man this is frustrating and I will not be returning.
I usually have great experiences at PP but they were flat out rude and I could hear them talking about and laughing at me while I waited for the appointment. It was stressful enough going to a doctors office In general especially during covid. And to be laughed at on top of it. I was crying alone in a room for at least an hour to the point that I threw up. I almost walked out and made an appointment at a different clinic. I wish I had. One of the staff also smacked my arm right where I got my vaccine just a few days before after I told her it was there, and asked me why I was too hot and laughed at me and smacked my arm again when I told her I had just had a panic attack.
I’ve gotten one major procedure and have picked up many prescriptions here fortunately without any issues. Each time has been a good experience and the staff has always been kind and pleasant.
Everyone was so sweet, friendly, and knowledgeable! I was able to get help literally in the first session, and got booked for 2 more in a few months~ I met 3 staff members and felt like I made 3 new friends~💖
This is the worst planned parenthood Ive ever been too. Those receptionists are lazy and basically incompetent. They cancelled my appointment without asking and wouldnt let me be seen the same day. That was a while ago. Recently I made an appointment online and the same woman tried to tell me I made it for the wrong thing but finally realized she was wrong. After the appointment was finished I had a prescription to pick up which they keep in the desks theyre at but she made me wait 40 minutes for it. Only giving it to me when I went up to ask about it. Surprise, she hadnt even been filling it or getting it ready (a process which took 30seconds). She was haut chatting up they other receptionist and drinking soda and not working. If you go here expect to be here for at least two hours.
This experience is terrible. My appointment is at 10:30. Ive been sitting in the lobby since 9 and havent been called back. Its now almost 11. Ive had better service at other locations than this one. At least I know NOT to go to this location to get my stuff done
Found a lump in my breast and they had me in the next week. Professional, well-managed and empathetic. Diagnosed me within minutes (not cancer fortunately) and helped me work out a further check up and treatment plan when I went back home. AND they took my out of state insurance (Blue Shield Cal). Thanks PP!
The staff gossiped about me while I was in the room with the attendant (who was thorough, kind, and attentive) and revealed my work and health information, which is a hipaa violation.
Ive always had wonderful experiences here. The RNs are great and really help answer all of your questions! They also now have a convenient online appointment scheduler where you can also fill out most of your paperwork online.
Not a great experience here... had to wait over an hour In a room for a Dr. A nurse asked me if i wanted some test to which i said sure, BUT she DIDNT say it would charge extra for it...Then the Dr saw me for max 5 mins, no bedside manner. I fought that charge since I was not notified of it, it was really expensive and it was a test I did not need but thought if its free why not. Such an unpleasant experience, will not go back to that location.
This PP location was my primary healthcare provider throughout grad school. The location and hours are intensely convenient and I received consistently great care. If you need to get treatment in a hurry, this is a great bet, second only to zoom care.
Receptionist kept saying if you dont have an appointment wait outside because we follow COVID protocols. Fine. But the guy wasnt wearing his mask right, so? Which COVID protocols are you following because its not the CDC lol.
The ladies here are just out of this world amazing. If you are nervous or scared this staff will make every step of the way a great experience. I can not recommend this superb clinic enough.
Ive been waiting for 2 hours to get an exam and I still havent gotten one Ive been waiting in the exam from for 1 1/2 hours so Im going to leave because its pissing me off. They hospitality isnt great either. Dont come here ever! Thats my advice.
My appointment was at 1230. I got here at 1220 and its now after 2. They still have not seen me but have called back every other person that came after me.
Every single person here was incredibly kind and helpful. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and paid very special care and attention. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you all so much!
I’m giving this PP five stars because it’s the best in the city. The staff is very accommodating and there’s hardly ever a long wait (if you have an appointment) unlike in u-district.
It’s okay I had something get done here unfortunately process was fast but waiting for them took two hours to call me back if they moved faster I guess I’ll be good !
If youre looking for competent trans* Healthcare, dont come here.Edit: I responded to this request for my contact information but it was just an empty hope. Nothing came of it.
So grateful for comprehensive and professional healthcare here. The staff are very attentive, informed, and informative.
I love this location. I always feel so taken care of and the staff is super friendly! Also it’s so close to my house and super convenient.
Staff was extremely nice, explained the process in a easy understandable way. I highly recommend this location. Clean, safe, cozy environment. 💛
Amazing! great front desk people and my doctor (Pam) was hilarious and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you!!
Okay for quick appointments but terrible follow-up if you need a prescription.
Worst place ever got chipped the lady was really rough about 5 months back I still havent been Able to get it removed sadly....
So incredibly sweet and helpful! Thank you for helping me and my partner decide the best plan for us!!
Very friendly staff throughout. Wait was longer than expected even with an appointment.
Everyone here is so kind and they make you feel safe and respected.
Ive given this location a try 3 times and each time Ive felt unheard and frustrated with the staff.
Was denied service due to my insurance & inability to pay otherwise
Amazing organization, super professional, lovely office.
Clean facility. Nice, knowledgeable, friendly staff.
Amazing staff
Helpful really !
