The people here are amazing! But Ive been trying to cancel an appointment and have tried multiple times been on hold for 30min+ all of the times and cant cancel or reschedule. The email sent to me didnt allow me to cancel even though it did have a cancel button. The patient portal says Im not a patient so Im unable to do anything with that. Very frustrating.
Had my IUD removed, the nurse practitioner and the screening staff beforehand (sorry I don’t remember their names) were amazing, made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. The procedure was quick, painless, and easy when it was something I was very anxious about. Thank you !
Had a fantastic experience here with an IUD procedure. My previous side effects were taken seriously and I was able to get a same day appointment. Very thankful to the staff here.
I have great experiences with all the Planned Parenthood locations I visit in the Seattle area, but the U District clinic really stands out with how warm, welcoming, and thorough their staff is. If you have anxiety around blood draws, this is the clinic to visit. Every tech Ive seen here has made the blood draw procedure as quick and efficient as possible, and has gone above and beyond in making sure Im okay during and after. It makes a big difference and I really appreciate it!
Please don’t come here if you value your time . The staff is nice and all but I had to resecdule my appointments 4 times because whenever I went in, I had an appointment for a certain time but they couldn’t provide the service for another hour or so. It’s a shame because I understand staff shortage and delays but to constantly waste my time when I took time off work to come here is very disrespectful. Your probably better off going to your local doctor or maybe try other pp locations
I had a dislodged IUD replaced here that was not properly deployed (one of the arms was bent, as seen in a later ultrasound) and had to find care elsewhere to have it removed. The team was very sweet so I am really heartbroken to say that my experience turned out less than stellar.
Staff is nice and welcoming and I appreciate the care. I know all facilities at this moment are understaffed so I understand not being able to get treatment right away but the effort it has taken me to just get my test results is irresponsible. I had to schedule my appointment one month in advance (which I can understand) but havent been able to speak to anyone since the test (two weeks ago). I try to call the clinic or the follow up nurse and no one returns my calls. If you believe that you will test positive for something I would recommend going to another facility because it could be damaging to your health to have to wait this long to be consulted or scheduled for treatment. I will always support Planned Parenthood and have had good experiences before but Im not going to lie I am frustrated because I believe this is somewhat negligent.
Hands down my favorite health clinic! The staff is so efficient and warm, and they are so respectful. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. I recently had an experience with a private gynecologist who was unbelievably rude, judgmental and completely incompetent, and I had no idea that Planned Parenthood was so special in the level of care it provides, particularly at the University center. The amazing staff member who did my womens wellness exam here talked me through the whole thing and was so wonderful and empathetic throughout it that she completely calmed my anxiety during the procedure. I wanted to give her a hug at the end. Thank you University District Health Center for providing me the best healthcare during my time as a very stressed and worried student and treating all your patients with such kindness and respect.
After reading some negative reviews, I was a little nervous, but I ended up having an excellent experience at this clinic. I used their services for placement of an IUD, and the nurse practitioner who did the procedure, as well as the two assistants I dealt with during my two visits there (once for a consultation and once for the insertion itself) were very professional, competent, friendly, and kind. I really appreciated that, especially since I was somewhat anxious about the pain involved with IUD placement (incidentally, it ended up not being very painful at all; Im sure part of that is related to my own anatomy and physiology, but I do attribute part of it to the nurse practitioners skill).
This PP has a terrible service, unprofessional, uneducated, uninformed and rude receptionist, not helpful at all. Doctor and nurse were really nice and helpful though, there is disagreement between information that doctor and receptionist give to you. After sharing this experience with a friend, she told me the exactly the same thing happened with her there.Horrible experience! If you are looking for some good professional service, go to PP on Northgate. They are really patient and helpful, specially if you cant afford birth control and doctor appointments.
I’ve been waiting on my UTI test for week now this is not okay!! It shouldn’t take more then a day or 3 at most and I can’t even call them I have to drive down there to get it resolved what a messed up system!!
I go here for my pap smears and wellness exams. I love their care, professionalism and having had bad experiences in the private sector its really nice to go to a place where I feel respected and safe.
Pretty sure random pro-lifers are leaving bad reviews. Great service, receptionist is more than friendly, staff is understanding and helpful, easy quick-n-out for what I needed.
Friendly staff that make you feel safe and comfortable
HORRIBLE, just horrible wait!
