I received care from both Dr. Kimelman and Dr. Walton (and their nurse Noemi!) — my experience was exceptional from pregnancy confirmation to birth and now into postpartum! They always listened to my questions and concerns during each appointment and provided the best guidance, gave me researched advice re: COVID vaccination during pregnancy, promptly answered my questions sent via their medical portal, and I always felt that I was being given the best care. Dr. Thomas was on call when I delivered my baby and she was fantastic as well. I am impressed by the focus that the group has on women’s mental / emotional health, especially post-pregnancy. I feel so grateful to have had the best support all throughout my pregnancy and beyond — I can’t recommend this group enough! Love them!
I have been with this group for 25+ years and have been seeing Dr. Diana Koala for about 20 of those years. I started with a doctor who has since retired, and another physician in the group delivered my babies, based on who was on call. My experiences have all been wonderful. I feel listened to and well cared for. From pregnancy to menopause, I wouldnt want to see another health care provider over Dr. Koala and Seattle OBGYN Group. Highly recommend.
I LOVED my time with Seattle OB/GYN Group. Ive been with them for about 4 years and every doctor or nurse I saw was incredible, empathetic, and I received really great care. Im crushed that they are closing their doors. It took me forever to find doctors I trusted in this city... this is a huge loss.
Top level care for women, all ages and health situations. Very caring doctors and staff. I’ve been a patient for 7+ years. Dr Koala is a great listener and communicator. She is very thorough and compassionate. Highly recommend this group! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I received exceptional prenatal care from Dr Walton and Dr Kimelman. They are both experts in the field, treated me with kindness, compassion and respect, and made me feel safe. When I went into labor, Dr Thomas was on call. She was clearly well versed in my medical history pertaining to the pregnancy. She explained options to me, was patient, calm under pressure, and most importantly delivered my baby safely. It made me feel like I had been under her direct care all along. It speaks to the team approach at Seattle Obgyn Group.
Seattle OBGYN is the best! I had Dr. Koala and the entire experience was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time, listened to what I needed, answered any questions I had and always made me feel at ease. With it being my first pregnancy, I was very anxious and nervous about everything, but she was so calming and always made me feel great! Highly recommend her and this office as everyone I met with and worked with was wonderful. The birth and delivery was also great and I got lucky to have Dr. Koala deliver my boy, it was a really great experience and they listened to what I wanted and guided me to do everything that was best for me and my baby!
I have been coming to this practice for 3.5 years and have nothing but good things to share about the group. I love Dr. Foltz & feel grateful to have had her as my provider during my pregnancy and now. Dr. Droz ended up being the on call physician for my birth & was very respectful of my requests throughout the process and successfully delivered our baby girl with vacuum-assistance. Knowing how challenging that can be, I feel so grateful to have had no complications during postpartum. The practice is partnered with Swedish First Hill and I had a great experience with the hospital and fantastic nurses during delivery.
Ive had great experiences with all 3 of my kiddos from the midwife team to the OB staff. Dr. Kapnadak was my primary OB during the last pregnancy and she ensured that our cord blood was donated for transplant, a cause very important to us. I felt she listened to me during the pregnancy, then when the decision was made to induce, and afterwards with postpartum follow-up. Her medical assistant is very efficient and always responded promptly with paperwork requests. Overall, such a great practice! Highly recommend!
Dr. Koala is the best OBGYN I’ve ever had. She’s thorough, thoughtful, and listens to her patients concerns in full with kindness and care that puts you at ease. I know I am always in good hands with her. I had some bad experiences with other doctors in Seattle who were supposed to be “the best” and I am so glad I found Dr. Koala. I hope she never retires!
All the positive experiences with my care and birth. As a nurse, I was nervous about being a patient for the first time. I felt very comfortable with everything that happened. I feel so grateful that my baby decided to come after Dr. Thomas had seen her last patient of the day and was able to deliver me.I would have been happy with anyone delivering me there but it felt extra special to have my primary doctor be on shift when I was at the end of my labor.Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Thomas.I’ll be back again!
Dr Kapnadak has been my OB for over 7 years. She and her lovely team at Sea-Obgyn have delivered all three of my babies, providing high touch care for both me and baby! She is a calm in the storm during pregnancy complications, always treating you with warmth, respect and encouragement. You won’t find a more personable, knowledgeable obgyn; I highly recommend her!
Coming out of the new motherhood haze to give all the stars to the Seattle OBGYN team. I have felt so deeply supported by the staff at this clinic since the day I showed up for my preconception appointment and all the way through postpartum. I feel so grateful to be in the ongoing care of Dr. Foltz who helped me at every stage of my pregnancy. I also feel forever grateful to Dr. Kapnadak who delivered our baby. From the medical assistants and nurses to the people behind the scenes and of course, the doctors this is a top notch team doing important work with a high level of empathy and competency, especially at a time when the healthcare industry is stretched to its limits.
I was so lucky to have Doctor Luba Foltz as my OB/GYN Doctor and Doctor Diana Koala as a delivery doctor. My case wasnt easy. After many years of fighting to be a mother with all bad experience and baggage of fears and doubts, finally, thank God, I needed an OB/GYN doctor. From the first appointment with Doctor Foltz I understood that Im in a good hands. She was able to calm me down and assure that everything will be fine. Every time after an appointment with her I felt relieved. She gave me hope and strength to go through the pregnancy journey. She is a really professional OB/GYN doctor. She never suggested any unnecessary procedures or tests. Every time I have a question it was easy to reach her through the useful portal.Doctor Diana Koala was my delivery doctor. My daughter and I were blessed to have her during the labor. My daughter wasnt in a right position, and there was a risk to have a C-section. It wasnt a good option for me after many hours of a labor. Luckily, she took an initiative to try to rotate her. She was successful and in 30 min my healthy daughter was born.My husband and I so grateful for the Doctor Koalas help to have a natural birth for our daughter.I highly recommend the doctor Diana Koala. An assistant of Doctor Foltz Diana is professional too and helped me a lot with all the paperwork I needed. Now I am a mother of a beautiful daughter and really appreciate all professional care of the doctor Luba Foltz and Diana Koala.
I’m currently about 7 weeks postpartum with my son and the care I received from Seattle OBGYN group was nothing short of fantastic! I originally chose Seattle OBGYN group as I LOVED the fact that it was an all women physician practice. There is something so special about being surrounded by intelligent women and feminine energy and I can’t put into words how amazing my experience was. I opted to see both Dr. Walton and Dr. Kimelman as a part of their shared practice and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the two of them. Both physicians are incredibly professional, warm, personable and overall incredible at what they do. Throughout my pregnancy, as well as postpartum, I have felt so well cared for, comfortable and heard, which is all you can ask for when receiving medical treatment. I genuinely have so much love and respect for the two of them and I am so eternally grateful for their care for both myself and my son. I would also love to leave a huge thank you for Dr. Droz who was the physician on call that ultimately delivered my son. She was so professional, kind and encouraging and made my delivery as smooth as possible- I will never forget the experience. As for the rest of the staff, from the nurses and medical assistants (a special shout-out to Noemi who took amazing care of me) , to the front desk staff - everyone is absolutely amazing and personable. Whoever is on the hiring team is doing an amazing job! Thank you to all the amazing women I worked with throughout my pregnancy. You made the experience so special for me. I 10000/10 recommend Seattle OBGYN Group!
All of the staff were nice & very much helpful to all of my needs during my 2 pregnancies. Even when l had problems with my unsuccessful pregnancies. Dr. Thomas was always paying attention, to my health during & after giving birth. Im very much thankful to all of the care team at Seattle OB/GYN.
Wonderful staff all around! I was fortunate enough to be under the care of Dr. Foltz for my first pregnancy which was deemed high risk. I was well taken care of during each appointment all the way through being discharged after delivery. A big shout out to Cindy, Dr. Foltzs nurse, who was always so friendly and helpful and Dr. Iverson who ended up delivering me without any complications. Im so very thankful for Dr. Foltz and her team!
Doctor Kapnadak and Registered Nurse, Michelle are a dream team. I just had my first child 7 weeks ago and as I reflect on my experience with my care I only have positive things to say. Dr Kapnadak is calm, confident, and extremely knowledgeable. She has great bedside manner and makes you feel at ease during your appointments. I actually enjoyed going to my doctor appointments throughout my pregnancy. Michelle, the lovely RN was delightful as well - we shared laughter and our favorite places to get bubble tea in Seattle. The office itself is clean and well managed. You ladies are amazing. Keep it up!! Looking forward to my annual exam, now who the hell actually says that : )
Great group of doctors and midwives. No matter whom I saw while pregnant, they all were very helpful and professional. Dr. McKeever was my primary OB and she saw me through to delivery. She was kind, confident, and reassuring, and I am very grateful for the care she gave me. Being pregnant during a pandemic was an emotional rollercoaster, and she kept me steady. I am so grateful for her care and even keeled guidance through it all. This was my second pregnancy, and my first was at Swedish. The main difference was that I didn’t see my Primary OB for every appointment at Seattle OBGYN - if she was delivering or unable to be in the office, they scheduled me with another doctor or midwife. That being said, I appreciate that the caregivers at Seattle OBGYN were able to work as a collective group. It felt like being a part of a family. My one criticism is that because I didn’t always see my primary doctor, it sometimes took a bit for her and the others to get up to speed on the details of my chart. But once they did, I felt like I was in good hands.Overall, I highly recommend this group and feel more connected with them with every visit.
Love everyone I’ve met at Seattle Ob/Gyn. My doc is Dr. Koala. Her team is fab - knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. Delivered by Dr. Foltz - I swear her perineal massage prevented me from tearing this time around. No nonsense, and communicated so well in the days leading up to my induction.
Dr. Kimelman and Dr. Walton are the best care team I’ve ever experienced! Through every step of my journey they showed extra comfort, understanding and confidence. They balance each other out in the most beautiful way and I highly recommend them for any prenatal care and delivery.
I had a wonderful experience with Seattle OBGYN. It’s an all female team and they are the best 🙂. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Joelle Thomas and her nurse Molly- they took very good care of me when I was pregnant with my first child. The health care is very good and the personal touch and friendly attitude of the team makes the place a 5 star clinic. Ladies, don’t hesitate to go there…..
I can’t express how thankful I am to be a patient here! Dr. Thomas and Molly are wonderful! I was seen a few times by Rebecca, their NP there, she is also a gem! From my first visit until delivery, all my questions and concerns were addressed promptly. My C - section incision is healing great. Baby is healthy! The entire team there is so friendly! Would absolutely recommend!
Dr. Foltz is an amazing OBGYN, and so is her assistant Diana! She has such a lively personality, me and my husband absolutely enjoyed every visit with her. Forever grateful for all she’s done for our family. I highly recommend Dr. Foltz to any woman that is expecting!
Caring, thorough, never makes you feel like she has to rush, allows you to ask questions and have a full visit before she leaves. Her nursing staff is wonderful as well. Sad she will be retiring at the end of this year. She will be hard to replace.
Dr. Kimelman is such a knowledgeable and caring doctor. She is truly interested in my well being and I feel it. I trust her 💯 and have been her patient for 19 years! She helped me with both of my pregnancies and was there every step of the way to ensure we were all healthy and cared for. She’s like trusted family to me!
I went in for an IUD insertion and was very nervous about the pain based on previous stories I had heard. I saw Nurse Practitioner Todd for my consultation and procedure. The procedure went so smoothly and I felt almost no pain at all during or after! Of course each person is different but I would highly recommend!!All other staff was also incredibly nice and scheduling was easy.
I had a very positive experience with Seattle OB/GYN Group throughout my twin pregnancy and delivery. Being pregnant with twins included many additional visits, tests, and overall monitoring, so I interacted with many different office staff and nurses along the way, all of whom I found were professional, supportive, and efficient. Dr. Foltz took great care of me during my pregnancy and I was fortunate that she got to deliver my twins. Her knowledge and personalized expertise through the entire process made me feel more at ease. I always felt like there was good discussion of various options at key decision points. I would highly recommend this group to those looking for excellent and professional care!
Doctor Kapnadak was my obgyn through two pregnancies. Amazing experience. She is very science oriented but does a great job balancing that with each client’s individual needs. Fantastic doctor and person.
So grateful I landed in the care of the team at Seattle OBGYN. I switched from Seattle midwifery early on after some care gone wrong, lots of missed communication and just feeling like the care wasnt up to the level we were expecting .The entire team at Seattle OBGYN is fantastic. Dr. Thomas was our Dr. she was patient, knowledgeable, took her time with us, never made us feel rushed, was always on time, provided great care and advice and made me feel extremely comfortable with my entire labor and delivery process. I was scheduled for a c section 4/13 (higher risk and repeat c-section, but ended up going to Triage to be checked Friday 4/1 with some abdominal pain and consistent contractions - Dr. Kimmelman was the on call doctor her prognosis was that it was time to have the baby - he was healthy, I was healthy, we were full term and leaving left more risk than staying and welcoming our baby just few weeks sooner than expected. She was incredible, awesome surgeon, really compassionate person - her team worked hard to help keep me at ease. I felt safe, loved the anesthesiologist and team in OR - My incision was perfect, my healing has been wonderful and I attribute all of this to the excellence in care provided by Seattle OBGYN. Oh, and let me not forget Molly, Dr. Thomas nurse - she was great as well! Thank you to all of you who helped us welcome our darling Luca into the world on 4/2, hes a delight, we are so so grateful!
Thanks to Dr. Watson and Dr. Kimmelman for exceptional services throughout the process and delivery. It always felt easy to connect and they were always available when needed. Highly recommend Seattle Ob/gyn as they stood the trust through deliveries of both my kids.
What a fantastic practice all around. I saw Dr. Kapnadak throughout my pregnancy and she was such a skilled care provider, as well as having excellent bedside manner. Her presence is so calm and she did a great job educating me throughout the process- I felt like I was a partner rather than just a patient, and had a lot of ownership throughout my pregnancy and delivery. What I love most about this practice is that even if your primary doctor doesnt deliver your baby, you know you are in good hands with anyone else. Dr. Kapnadak wasnt on call the night my daughter was born, so Dr. Iversen delivered her and she was wonderful as well! Cannot recommend Seattle OB-GYN enough.
Dr. Luba Foltz is the best of the best. I had a scheduled c-section with her, relayed my fears, and she put me at ease. I felt extremely taken care of throughout my pregnancy, and especially on the day of my surgery. I am so thankful for her and the team. My surgery and recovery went better than expected and I even emailed her at week 4 to see if I could start low impact exercises because I felt that good. Thank you, Luba!!
Dr McKeever delivered all four of my beautiful babies via c-section because of serious complications that I had. She saved my uterus after I had a placenta accreta with my first baby and helped me have three additional babies safely. She is amazing and truly one of the most amazing doctors I have encountered. Our family owes her so much gratitude.
I have had nothing but great experiences at Seattle OB/GYN. Dr. Luba Foltz was the provider for both my pregnancies. I am yet to meet a more kind, caring, and competent doctor. No matter what my health concerns were, I always left my appointments with her feeling positive and reassured. My family will always be grateful for her care. I’ve also had great experiences with Dr. Thomas, Dr. Kapnadak, and Kara (Dr. Foltz’s nurse). The admin staff are super sweet and helpful. I would highly recommend this practice!!
I have been seeing Dr Thomas for a number of years and have always been very impressed with the level of care and time that she has spent with me.She has helped me during my peri menopause journey into menopause and is very attentive and easy to talk. She has readily given me options to make this transition easier and I am very thankful to her and Molly (her nurse practitioner) for all that they have done for me! I highly recommend Dr Thomas and the Seattle OB/GYN Group
Dr Kapnadak and the entire Seattle OB/GYN team provided me excellent care during my pregnancy. I am not exaggerating when I say that Kapnadak acted calming and swiftly to save my daughters life during an emergency c section. I wish I could do more to show my gratitude.
The nurse seemed inattentive and unknowledgeable. She asked me about my prescriptions but couldn’t pronounce them so she showed me the screen. I thought that was different. When taking my blood pressure, I had my legs crossed and didn’t notice till she was putting on the arm of the machine and she said nothing. That was really discouraging.Dr Droz was fine but let’s gets better, qualified nurses that care about their patients.
I’ve been a patient with Dr. Kapnadak and this group for almost ten years, spanning general care and birth control with the pill and IUDs, through pregnancy. The entire staff is wonderful, genuinely caring, and exactly what I want from my medical team - pragmatic and always willing to work through questions/concerns without any judgment.
Dr. Foltz is the best gynecologist in Seattle without a question. I feel so lucky to have found her over a decade ago. She is so knowledgeable and personable. Everytime I see her I feel like I am the only patient in the building. She takes her time answering all my questions, makes me feel comfortable.
I had the best care at Seattle OB/GYN group. Dr. McKeever is amazing - patient, intently listens and so personable. She’s helped me through two pregnancies and luckily she was on call during my last delivery. Dr. Koala delivered my first, and she and the other doctors at the practice are all wonderful. Dr. McKeever also helped me through two pregnancy losses, and her genuine kindness and compassion are what make her exceptional.I’ve had such a fantastic experience with Dr. McKeever that I drove from Kirkland during my second pregnancy because I didn’t want to switch doctors! She’s worth rush hour traffic across 520.I’ve recommended Dr. McKeever to so many of my friends and everyone has glowing reviews. She’s the best!
Dr. Kimelman has been my OB for over a decade! She has delivered both of my children and I feel so grateful to be her patient. She is kind, compassionate, and incredibly intelligent. I highly recommend her and her colleagues for any of your OB and Gyn care!
Ive been going to the Seattle OB/GYN Group since I was 15 years old. This is a wonderful group of women. Dr. Foltz is amazing and understanding. She has delivered my first child and will likely be delivering my second later next month.
I’ve been coming to Dr. Sondra Kapnadak for all 3 of my pregnancies and she is an absolutely wonderful Doctor! She delivered my first child who is now 6.5 years old. I’ll never forget when my daughter was breech and she was able to turn her head down so I could have a normal vaginal birth avoiding a c-section just weeks before I was due. Dr. kapnadak always answers my questions fully and I feel very fortunate to have found such a personable and knowledgeable Dr. for my ob/gyn needs. Highly recommend!!
A great doc who listens and understands my concerns. I feel that she knows my history very well and is always prepared to take care of new and old problems. She is very nice and her office runs on time, which I appreciate. Highly recommended.
I carried and delivered two healthy children with the care and support of Seattle OB/GYN. throughout both pregnancies I worked with several practitioners and received the most compassionate, straightforward and expert care. I NEVER had a single negative experience. While my primary OB facilitated almost 100% or my prenatal visits, she was not able to deliver either of my children but the doctors who stepped in did so flawlessly. I highly recommend this clinic and all their practitioners.
I’ve been a patient for 11 years at the practice. Dr. Foltz has supported me through two pregnancies with confidence and positivity. I also saw several other providers throughout my pregnancies and all of them where just as great as Dr. Foltz. I highly recommend this practice!
Dr. Walton was amazing. I definitely avoided going to the gynecologist for a few years after a bad experience with a former provider. But Dr. Walton provided the best exam I’ve ever had. I felt heard, respected and safe. Seriously, a great practice and would recommend to anyone.
When my wife and I first got pregnant 5 years ago, she asked her best firmed, who was a labor and delivery nurse at Swedish First Hill, who the best OB providers were. The friend recommended Seattle OB/Gyn, having had positive professional experiences with all of their providers throughout the course of her career. We have subsequently had three healthy pregnancies and babies, although the delivery of our most recent was more eventful than we would have preferred.Following an uneventful pregnancy and delivery, my wife had a postpartum hemorrhage that eventually required her to go to the operating room under general anesthetic. Throughout this unexpected and, frankly, terrifying process, we interacted with no less than five separate providers from Seattle OB/Gyn, none of whom were my wifes primary and subsequently did not know us at all. In spite of this, we agreed that the care we received from every single one was not only informed and well executed, but deeply caring to us as individuals and as a family.Without hesitation I would recommend this practice to anyone seeking expert, compassionate care during their pregnancy and delivery. As a physician who is married to a nurse, we are frankly all too aware of what poor healthcare looks like, which makes it all the more striking when we witness such quality care in action.
Dr Foltz is the best!! Been seeing her for more than a decade. Made a mistake by changing doc after I moved across the lake but I quickly came back and will be seeing her for as long as I am in the PNW. Love her professionalism, care and empathy. I look forward to my appointments ever year.
I recommend this place to anyone looking for a OBGYN. Visiting Dr.Kapnadak put me at ease every time. She carefully listens to my concerns and addresses them, ensuring my wishes and preferences were handled in a way that was best for my health. The admin office, nurses and other staff are very responsive every time you call or message. I met few other doctors at the practice too, and everyone is very capable and professional. You can’t go wrong with this group for your care.
I can’t say enough good things about this group of doctors, nurses, and staff. This is my second pregnancy and I’ve been to *3* previous clinics. As soon as my first appointment I felt cared for, respected and listened to. They are attentive during your pregnancy, the office is well staffed, clean and organized and they always return calls. Unlike other clinics, they encourage patients to call with any questions big or small. Put it this way, I live an hour from Seattle with no traffic and happily did the commute to see these doctors. I would definitely recommend this OB group to friends and family.
It gives me great pleasure to provide a five star rating for Dr. Thomas, Molly and the incredible team at Seattle OBGYN. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Thomas and Molly. Dr. Thomas listened to all of my anxieties and always answered my questions with compassion. Her gentle touch and clear intellect instilled me with complete confidence from my first appointment at nine weeks pregnant to my planned c-section. She was a total rockstar in the OR and I attribute my fast recovery to her personalized touch. Finally, Molly is an absolute gem. She always greeted my husband and I with such warmth and compassion. I remain incredibly grateful for them both and will be returning for all of my follow-up OBGYN care.
Been with Seattle OB/GYN since I was sent by my OB from another group who didn’t do Maternity. I had an amazing experience with this group when they took care of me when I had twins.A couple of years ago I returned to Seattle OB/GYN. Recently I had an elective surgery performed by Dr. Kimelman and she was amazing. Always so kind and caring and makes sure all your questions answered promptly! I highly recommend this group!
Had an excellent experience with two pregnancies under the care of Dr. Droz. I always felt well supported and cared for. Everyone else I came into contact with was amazing as well from the front desk to nurses to scheduling department…you name it. Overall such a welcoming and accommodating practice!
I’ve been going to Seattle OB GYN Group for over 3 years now since my first pregnancy. I was referred to Dr Megan McKeever from my group of friends who all saw her too. She’s the type of doctor you can trust and also want to be your friend! She has a calming disposition, patient at explaining what’s going on, and always offered time to answer my questions. She helped care for me through two healthy pregnancies, and when she wasn’t in office I had very positive care from the nurse practitioners and midwives (Five stars for the whole staff!). I delivered my last baby during the Covid-19 pandemic, and I felt good about all the precautions the staff took to make the office visit safe and clean.
I am so pleased to have Seattle OB/GYN group for my first baby! Dr. Kimelman and Dr. Walton are the best. The doctors, nurses, and staffs are super nice and friendly, and deliver professional services during each routine checkups. And it was so heartwarming to receive phone calls from Dr. Walton asking my feelings during the last several days of my pregnancy. Also very fortunate to have Dr. Kimelman as on-call doctor during birth. Cant say how lucky I am to receive care here! Recommend to anyone who want professional OB/GYN services.
I had Dr. Droz. She was efficient and she listened to me and got me the surgery I needed with just a few weeks! Shes also a wonderful surgeon- this is so much less painful than other surgical recoveries Ive had in the past. I do wish Id been told someone took out my piercing (what happened to the barbell there?) And I wish Id been told they were going to ucath me.Megan, from Dr. Drozs office, has been awesome and patient with me, and very kind about keeping in touch and soothing my admittedly overactive nerves; I could not ask for better communication. Dr. Droz is plainly an amazing surgeon, this hurts so much less than expected. Would highly recommend to anyone.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Seattle OBGYN. I had originally been with another local doctor but wanted a more personable relationship with someone that instilled trust (after all, this doctor was going to deliver my first baby!). After doing research online, I made the switch to Seattle OBGYN and opted to go with the shared practice of Judith Kimelman and Anna Walton. This was the best decision of my life. After seeing both doctors, I was completely impressed by how relatable they were. I knew I was in good hands. Lab results were reported with detail and urgency. Having been my first pregnancy, I was keen to know everything going on with my baby and wasn’t sure what to expect. I was so thankful that both doctors took the time to explain all details to me every step of the way.My baby was unexpectedly delivered one month early and I had a great experience delivering via C-Section with Dr. Walton. A few days later, I began to have unexpected back pain, bruising and swelling. After a quick phone call to Seattle OBGYN, they prioritized me for a follow appointment. For this visit, I saw Dr. Walton and couldn’t be more grateful with how serious she took my symptoms. I was immediately directed to get lab work done and later that evening, she called and informed me I needed to return to the hospital. I am so thankful she reviewed my lab results with urgency (we are talking just hours after submitting my bloodwork). It turns out I had severe complications with preeclampsia. I was quickly admitted to the hospital and eventually the ICU before I fully recovered. Along the way, Dr. Kimelman/Dr. Walton kept my husband updated on the status of my condition and next steps for me to make a full recovery. Most of the time, my husband was not able to be in the hospital with me so they went out of their way to call him daily with my status. My husband, who was now juggling a new baby and a wife in the ICU, could not be more grateful for the professionalism and kindness of Dr. Kimelman/Dr. Walton. It is thanks to them that I made a full recovery. I can’t express how grateful I am. I literally owe them my life. The best decision I made was choosing them to take care of my pregnancy. If you are looking for doctors who will provide you high quality care and an amazing pregnancy journey, Dr. Kimelman/Dr. Walton should be your choice.
Dr Diana Koala is my angel! Had 2 babies delivered by her, some complications in pregnancy, but she is reacting immediately if there is any risk happening and I had 2 very healthy deliveries with no issues.Pros: anyone can deliver you from the group, you will 100 % have a doctor and they work really close with Swedish triage so they can tell you if you need to get to triage or not. They have oncall doctor for off hours. If you are on last month or having symptoms that can lead you to triage, they will try to see you the same day and check if they need to send you to the triage or lab.Lab is onsite for most tests. You feel safe and well taken care of especially if you have any risks.Cons: thats not a very small intimate hospital. It was fully ok with me though, I just need an attentive doc for my health. If I am healthy, I do not need much mental support.
I began seeing Dr. Luba Foltz 6 years ago while pregnant and continue to see her for care because she provides high quality, flexible, and personal care. Its rare that you find a busy physician who takes the time to connect personally every single visit. She is flexible with busy schedules. She follows up with phone calls herself. She was very willing to come in on her day off for a surgical procedure I needed when scheduling was difficult. I know Im safe and well cared for by her team. The RN working with her, Cindy, is a wealth of knowledge and kindness. Super reassuring, offering real world insight, patient with my multitude of questions, and timely with her follow up.. Also, Dr. Foltz was a fierce advocate for my safe care during labor and deliver. She was willing to speak up for me and demand top notch care during my labor and delivery from the other providers (RN, anesthesiologist) during my delivery. I feel lucky to have found these providers in this group.
It turned out to be a typical money sucking experience. I booked an appointment because I suspected I had endometriosis. All they did was make me come in and give me verbal information on the disease - only to tell me that it cannot be cured, and only controlled with pills, etc. All that she said in person could have been sent out in a pamphlet and I could have avoided the whole visit. I spent just 15 min talking with the doctor and was charged a little over 150$. Typical experience where providers act as if the patient’s time and money mean nothing.
I am so happy to have found this practice! From the nice women at the desk to the doctors assistants, everyone is always very friendly and professional. Moreover, I just adore Dr. McKeever! She is the kindest, most personable, and most empathetic doctor. I used to dread going to my obgyn appointments, but now that Dr. McKeever is my provider I look forward to seeing her and my appointments are no longer stressful! Thank you!
I went to this place because it had great reviews. Unfortunately, I think they have way more patients than they can handle and that really ruined my experience with them. My first appointment was amazing. They ordered blood draws and I had no issues getting in. To start, every time I called in, they asked when the first day of my last period was. If they pulled up my file, theyd see that I have no idea and I did blood tests to confirm how far along I was. They still bothered to ask if I was actually pregnant after telling them I did blood draws to confirm. Then when I told them I needed an appointment asap to check for down syndrome, they couldnt bother squeezing me in even though I told them how far along I was (this test has to be done within 14 weeks). The appointment I needed was just to get a referral for the blood draws for the test. It would take 5 minutes max. Super disappointed in my experience and I transferred care to a facility that has taken way better care of me so far. The new facility at least told me my due date.
I found this practice because I wanted female doctors. I have had Dr. McKeever for over 6 years and I had 2 babies with this practice. The office administrators and medical assistants are always friendly. Dr. McKeever is very patient with all my questions. I like that she always lays out options clearly and she plays a good advisor role. I felt well cared for during and post pregnancies. The one thing everyone should understand and have the right expectations is that you dont always get the doctor you have seen during labor because your doctor may not be working that day (i think they typically cover 3 days a week plus on call). I somehow had both my boys on a weekend so I just got the doctors that were on call. I think dr. Foltz and Dr. Koala were at my labor. Dr. McKeever came during her shift as well. (Long labor...) anyways, I was happy with all the doctors I met at the practice.
I’m so glad I found Seattle OB/GYN for my second pregnancy! From the moment I booked my first appointment, everyone I dealt with was kind and professional. Dr. Foltz is my primary doctor there and she’s fantastic, but I had great experiences with all of the nurses and midwives who cared for me throughout my pregnancy as well. If I called with a question, even when my doctor wasn’t available, there was always someone knowledgeable to give me answers. The desk staff were always friendly, knew what was going on and helped to direct me when I called or came in. You’ll know that’s important if you’ve ever been to a doctor’s office where they make you feel unknown, like you wandered in off the street by mistake. I know I have. But here, I always felt expected and welcome.I’ve recommended this office to my friends, and I recommend it to you!
I have been a patient here for 6 years. All of the staff Ive interacted with have been kind and professional. I showed up without an appointment at 18 weeks pregnant and asked to hear my baby’s heartbeat for reassurance and was quickly allowed to do so. I recently called when I was 10 minutes late and was allowed to come in and see my provider. I recommend this practice to all of my friends!
Im sad to be leaving a one-star review as I absolutely love my doctor at Seattle OBGYN Group and feel I have received great care in my 10+ years as a patient. That said, the practice chooses to contract with CellNetix Pathology for its lab work. CellNetix is at best grossly incompetent, but seems actively predatory in its billing practices. Over the years I have received multiple false bills from CellNetix including from bills Ive already paid, bills my insurer paid, bills for service dates I did not receive care, and bills in my responsibility with other patients name. This has resulted in hours and hours on the phone and threats from CellNetix to send me to collections for false bills.Seattle OBGYN Groups billing department is aware of these issues and that I am not the only patient to experience them. There doesnt seem to be many outlets as a patient to reach Seattle OBGYN Group ownership, but I hope other patients share their experience as well, and they decide to finally make a change. After receiving my latest false bill, I realized I can no longer continue to be a patient at Seattle OBGYN Group as long at they continue to contract with CellNetix. The patient experience includes billing too, and I do hope Seattle OBGYN will do better by their patients moving forward. Id love to return.
Dr Foltz came highly recommended by some discerning women I trust so I was delighted when she was able to accept me. She didnt disappoint. She balances IQ with EQ perfectly, mixing compassion with giving you the data you need to make informed decisions - important when you are having your first child! Her team is responsive and anticipate patient needs well. Could not be more pleased with my care.
Dr. McKeever always takes time with me during our annual visits to understand my needs and concerns. I never feel rushed and all of my questions are thoroughly answered. Plus, she is a lovely person. I’m grateful she’s my gynecologist.
The Receptionist totally had no idea about my insurance. I thought anyone Receptionist should know, maybe she is knew. It would be better if I could fill out my insurance and other questions online, like I do with other Doctors offices. The new Doctor that I saw was great and her nurse too! Thank you.
Luba Foltz has been my doctor for 13 years. She delivered 2 of my kids and now provides my gyn care. She gives practical advice and anticipatory guidance. I feel she really knows me. The front desk staff and her nurse are friendly and helpful. As someone who works in healthcare I can tell you this is the kind of practice you want to get your care from!
What can I say about this wonderful medical group. The staff are wonderful upon entry and the providers have been amazing. They have great customer service skills, even during this most stressful COVID time.I have been seeing Luba Foltz, MD for over 12 years. I cant say enough about her. She cares so much about her patients wellbeing as well as their families. She is patient, warm, humorous, a friend and advocate. There were certain times where I just needed reassurance that everything was going to be ok, and she called and made that happen. When I went into labor with my first child, Luba was leaving for vacation that night, she made sure that everything was set up and I was taken care of when I started feeling labor pains. It was so reassuring when people came in to take care of me, indicated that Luba spoke to them. During my second delivery, Luba wasnt on call... luckily my little girl was stubborn and waiting until 0600. Luba came marching in with gloves and gown on. I cried because I was so happy she was there for me. Dr. Foltz is someone you really want on your side, especially for those scary and exciting times.Dr. Foltzs nurse, Cindy, is also great. She is so knowledgeable and reassuring. She has a very dry sense of humor and keeps you on your feet during your appointments. She is a great sidekick to Luba as they take care of each other and their patients.I would strongly recommend this practice. I refer so many friends to this group and I would recommend you seeing them too.
Ten years and two babies of care and I highly recommend Seattle Obgyn. My specific doctor (Foltz) is excellent - she honed right in on my personality and needs and catered her approach accordingly. The nurses and NPs are consistently good. Very rarely have I experienced waits. Conveniently located in First Hill.
Compassionate; professional; dignified - these are just a few of the words I would use to describe my experience with Seattle OB/GYN. I came to this group for OB care after numerous personal recommendations from individuals I trusted and after having done a lot of research. I could not be more impressed with the care I received during pregnancy (and continue to receive postpartum) and I know that is thanks to the care team here. Specifically, my OB Dr. Foltz and her nurse Cindy provided exceptional care. When I went into Swedish First Hill to deliver my son, Dr. McKeever was on call and she was also incredible throughout the duration of my labor and deliver. Would recommend this group (especially Dr. Foltz!) to everyone I know, without reservation.
Dr. Thomas and her nurse Molly are my favorite! So gentle. Always remember personal details about me. They make me feel very comfortable and Ive never been embarrassed to ask questions. Love them!
Seattle OB/GYN was recommended to me by a former charge nurse at Swedish-First Hill (where this group attends deliveries). I began seeing Dr. Foltz for well woman care before I became pregnant and was very pleased with her clear, concise explanations. When I did become pregnant, she was extremely supportive of my desire to have a VBAC (she even had one herself!) and all of my questions were met with research based, supportive answers. She allowed me to have a hand in all decision making and helped me to weigh both sides of my options. Her nurse, Cindy, was always positive and willing to help me and answer questions, as well. When it came time for me to give birth Dr. Foltz wasn’t on call but I had a wonderful VBAC with Dr. Droz. She was calm and thorough answering questions and allowing me to be involved in my care every step of the way. Additionally, it was apparent she had a good relationship with the labor nurses on the floor which is always nice to see from a doctor. I can’t recommend this group enough. I’m said my pregnancy is over and I don’t get to see Dr. Foltz and Cindy regularly.
I was told to make an appointment with this group after they refused to refill my birth control. They told me I would be scheduled out months in advance, and then after explaining that I am an out of state student, they rescheduled me to only wait a month for an appointment with a midwife, not an actual doctor. Once arriving to the appointment, I was told it had been cancelled because I wasn’t in their office at 8:50 on the dot (trying to find parking). This office has withheld medication from me several times in the past and refused to see me even after an hour long drive to their office after I was a few minutes late.If you are looking for a friendly, respectful doctor this place is not for you. And if you are pregnant with a child, I wouldn’t trust them AT ALL. They are unreliable and inflexible. I honestly have had terrible experiences with them in the past (for example, asking for birth control a month early because I would be spending the summer abroad and them refusing, causing me to have awful symptoms and be very sick) but this is just the breaking point. They will not be flexible and they do not care whether you are healthy or not frankly, as they’ve demonstrated in the past.I had my first gynecologist appointment with them when I was 17. After 3 years here, I can honestly say I have never once felt safe or had a good experience there. I hope if you’re considering this as a OB/GYN group, you look elsewhere. Hopefully I can prevent at least one other person from mistakenly staying with them for as long as I did.
Always seen on time, friendly front office and back.My obgyn is Dr. McKeever. She has excellent bedside manners, personable and knowledgeable.I saw her primarily for all my prenatal appointments. Unfortunately I didn’t have her when I delivered but the on call Dr I did have was wonderful. Emina who assists Dr.McKeever was great. Whenever I had questions she always responded quickly via their online portal.
Dr Thomas inherited me from my previous Md who retired. I have been seeing her for 2 years now and she treats me very well and patiently listens and explores different options when I have suggested things. I’m very happy with her and she quickly gets back to me through my chart.
Ive been a patient of Seattle OB/GYN since I started having children. Dr. Cari Martin took care of me with having my two girls. Dr. Luba Foltz is now my doctor (Dr. Martin retired), and shes fantastic, great listener, and provides great care. The whole practice is so helpful and easy to work with for insurance purposes.
Excellent care. Ive seen Dr M. Mckeever for several years. She is compassionate, listens to my needs, and offers excellent care and guidance. Kudos to the friendly and helpful front desk staff and all med assistants too.
Every time I come here I get SO nervous! I have health anxiety but during every visit everyone is so nice and puts my mind at ease. I usually see Dr Koala but the last two visits I saw Dr Kimmelmam and Rebecca (can’t remember her last name.) Anyways they have been so helpful and helped me feel less anxious! But they are real pros! I know I’m in good hands with everyone on the team!
They have a nice office and courteous front desk staff. Getting an appointment was relatively easy despite the one month wait. But thats where the nice things ended. The doctor, Dr. Droz, while outwardly friendly, spent a whole five minutes with me. Every concern I brought up, which were valid, important and somewhat nerve-wrecking for me, where disregarded with the answer of Youre probably just fine! When I complained of consistent abdominal pain, yet again was told that I was fine but if I wanted to get an ultrasound It was up to me.I did end up getting the ultrasound that discovered a large cyst and a mispositioned IUD. How did I find out this info? Not from the doctor who didnt event bother to call for a follow up. I had to call the office who informed me they had not received my results and I needed to call the ultrasound place to re-fax them. I then got a quick rundown of the scans from a nurse, again, no doctor ever actually called and explained anything to me about what was happening, a course of action, treatment plans. Nothing. To this day, months later, not a single soul has reached out for me to schedule another appointment, ultrasound or to reposition my IUD. I am taking myself elsewhere. The absolute lack of care for the patients is what had me switch doctors and never return to this place again. Do not recommend going here if you actually want a caring doctor who will give a damn about your health and well-being.
Seattle OB/GYN has been my Womens Health provider for over 10 years and would not want to go anywhere else. I have always received great care and compassion from all of the staff. I trust Dr. Luba Foltz with not only my life but my unborn daughter as well when I was pregnant. Amazing and personable group... thank you Seattle OB/GYN.
I have been going here for years now. I love it here. Everyone I have seen has been great and helpful. I regularly see Dr.McKeever but I have seen a few others on days she wasnt available. Dr.McKeever took great care of me during my pregnancy and I felt completely safe that she was going to see my child and I safely through delivery. I miss seeing her so much now that Im not pregnant anymore! She and her staff still takes great care of me for regular checkups and wouldnt go anywhere else.
Dr Sondra Kapnadak is amazing, I highly recommend her to everyone. She took exceptional care of me from pregnancy to delivery, promptly answered all my questions and safely delivered my baby via a planned c section.Thank you so much Dr Kapnadak, we will miss seeing you!
Besides finding it extremely annoying to pay for parking every time you try to see your doctor, my experience at this office and the associated hospital hasnt been much better. I still strongly disagree with their approach to the issues in my pregnancy, totally downplaying the severity, and not being there when it mattered the most. It didnt matter when I fell down the stairs on a Friday and was worried because of the weekend (I called and was told Id be fine). It didnt matter when I started bleeding (just go on pelvic rest). I bled to transfusion level over the course of 5 weeks (in my second trimester). I was NEVER put on bedrest, instead I was told to make multiple trips to the office a week (which is fantastic if you cant even get up to get water), I was never admitted to the hospital besides when I went into premature labor (and I basically admitted myself). I was on the phone with the on call Dr. basically every night due to complications, but they refused to admit me to a hospital, neither did they advise to come to the ER (Swedish first hill is the worst so dont go there). Now lets get to the day when I was actually in the hospital, after they had me stay put at home for 12 hours with contractions every 2 min. They tried to discharge me the next day, 1 hour before I had contractions again. Dr Koala was on call and is the worst Dr ever. First, she didnt believe me that I was having contractions (asking me in disbelief if I think I was in labor), then she leaves the room. 20 min later perinatal shows up and seems concerned that nobody had checked my cervix yet. So she checks it and Im already 3cm. We change rooms, I call the husband... Dr koala comes back while Im 1 min apart and decides she has to go see patients in the office. (While I am about to loose my 18 week baby). I was high risk, totally anemic, and the nurse delivered the baby. My poor husband wasnt able to make it in time because Dr. Koala didnt believe me when I said I was in labor. It was the most horrific day in my life, and not only due to the fact that I lost my son. I dont wish this to anyone, and the care was negligent. Now you all decide which office you trust and which service you want to receive.
As a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon, many of my patients ask for recommendations about where to go for obstetric and routine care, and Seattle OBGYN is at the top of my list. Their doctors care deeply about their patients, and the office is organized and well run. They are also quick to refer back to me for complex gynecologic surgery, which shows how they put whats best for their patients ahead of their own practice. I am on a first name basis, text and work closely with all of their doctors and have recommended them to friends and coworkers. Five stars, without hesitation!
I am currently a patient of Dr. Dawkins at this clinic and I would never recommend that anyone ever sees her. I have seen many medical professionals across many different fields and I can say comfortably by far thats she is the worst doctor I have ever had. On my first appointment she had the audacity to argue with me about a major health issue that I have and then tell me that I dont have it without even talking to my provider. Then threatened not to treat me because I told her she was trigger my PTSD and I would not discuss it any further until she spoke with my provider. she had triggered me so severely that I was shaking and crying at the doctors office. And after me telling her multiple times to stop and then I did would not discuss this with her she kept pushing and she was wrong. Then on my second visit my provider had written her a letter to prove to her that my illness was still very much there and they had not changed. And she could not even apologize to me after threatening not to treat me because of her wrongdoing. I am 30 weeks pregnant and have as much knowledge going into this pregnancy as when I found out I was pregnant. literally the only thing that she has done for me is measured my stomach and taking the heart rate. Other than that this doctor has done absolutely nothing not giving me information about what to expect or how things are going to feel, not talk to me about information, I had even brought a friend with me and he said she was so concerned about finishing in 15 minutes that he felt that she did not even care. I know nothing about pregnancy Im as clueless now as when I first started seeing her. Ive also told the staff multiple times that I cannot be reached through their little portal system yet they still continue to try to reach me through the system instead of calling me which I have informed the many times to do, a perfect example as they took blood test for anemic and the gestational diabetes and I told them then they have to call me with the results. they said they still sent me a notification on the my chart and I had to call them three weeks later just to get the results. Just to find out that I was anemic and thank God I had started the iron pills on my own 2 weeks before that from my primary doctor because my body was displaying signs of mild anemia. Also to get a refill medication I have to call the office myself each time I need a refill because every time my pharmacy sends the refill fax they tell them Im not a patient at the office, there is no reason why that should be happening. Im still patient there Im still going there regularly and I need the medication that Im taking otherwise if I miss even one morning I will spend my entire day throwing up over a toilet. I have never met a doctor as inconsiderate rude and can not I meant when she is wrong or apologize as Dr. Dawkins. this is not a doctor I would ever trust my life with and I dont think you should Ever trust the life of your child with.
I heard that OB/GYN is the best for gyno however it seems like to take an appointment is really difficult here and the staff is not at all professional. I tried to make an appointment since last 20 days but the personGrace taken my details. After that i am tried to followup with her but she has not updating me anything whether the appointment is possible or not. At least as per curtesy, they should be profession as we are also not here to waste our time as well.Worst experience at initial stage.
Maternal doctors are great, I gave birth to my second child here. Surgeon teams, nurses and doctors are kind-hearted, high-skilled, magical saviors. Forever grateful!
Dr. McKeever is so outstanding. She knows me and my history. She is thorough, explanatory, and willing to discuss all options of health care. I highly recommend her and the Seattle OBGYN group. An organized and top notch system in place.
I have been a patient in this practice for 15 years. Theyre the only one I trusted to give birth to my two children. My trust is 100% when it comes to my body. Thank you so much for being a great support❣️❣️❣️
This is a great group for the most part, and I used them for some time.I had many good experiences here, and two bad.First, the bad experiences (sorry so long). They were with Dr. Harvey... I lost my first pregnancy, but the process didnt complete on its own. So I needed a d&c. Dr. Harvey was the one to do it, but I didnt actually get any sort of pain meds beforehand, (I did ask!) and I was awake for it! Most places will put you under. I have no idea why they dont here.Anyway, they only gave me some sort of pill to make you relax but it did absolutely nothing for me except make me dizzy for a minute during the procedure. Sure didnt do anything for pain and I wasnt relaxed. The procedure was incredibly painful! I wont get too graphic, but thank goodness it was quick, as I couldnt have taken much more. Not to even mention how awful it was to be awake while getting scraped and suctioned from the inside. The products of conception displayed on the counter. She insisted most their patients have no problem and are just fine - though the others got some sort of pain pills beforehand. I couldnt move afterwards until I got some sort of injection for pain relief. She acted like I was some sort of big baby and a pain in her ***. Never again. My second bad experience was when I gave birth a year later. I had an epidural in for a day or so, but not much progress. So I needed a c section. Dr. Harvey argued with the anesthesiologist about giving me a spinal block on top of the epidural. She told me I could kill my baby if I got knocked out and that I had to have the block, despite the wishes of my anesthesiologist. So the anesthesiologist administered it, and sure enough it was too much. I stopped breathing and they had to knock me out completely anyway and take the baby (my baby was totally fine). I did lose a lot of blood, and Dr. Harvey should have listened to the anesthesiologist from the very beginning! It ended up being another traumatic experience with her. I would never use her again, for anything. Now on to the good review. Sarah Chandler is my favorite! However, Diane is also a great midwife, and other than Dr. Harvey I havent had any bad experiences there. They have all been very warm, and knowledgeable. They are a very busy office, but I really recommend them anyway - theres rarely a very long wait, even considering their volume.
This is must place for people like us who were having first time pregnancy. The journey was made so easy for myself and my husband ! Every questions of ours were answered patiently and addressed immediately! Every staff members here are so courteous and adapting to your requests as required!Always grateful for Dr Meghan McKeever and her team (Rebecca , Emina , Shawna ) for helping us through this memorable journey!Special shout-out to Dr Meghan McKeever and her patience to hear us out and answer every question past 10 months! She has in depth knowledge on each of her patient’s body and guided accordingly! You were amazing doctor ! A huge huge Thank you from us to you for genuinely taking care of us all these months!
Just had my second baby with Dr. Foltz at Seattle OB/GYN Group. An amazing experience! I felt informed, comfortable, and like they were also genuinely happy for me and my new little one.If you read this Dr Foltz - thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Ive been going here for the past few years and everyone Ive dealt with has been great to work with. They are caring and quick to communicate. My primary is Dr. Foltz, who is a total rock star, but Ive appreciated all of my experiences so far with the office.
Found this place off of Google! New to Seattle and wanted to get a few things checked out. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful! A little disappointed that my testing had to be done outside of my visit (aka at Labcorp a few floors down). My appointment ran late and I missed the chance to have my bloodwork done. Ive never had to do that at my old OBGYN - as they always took my blood on-site. My Doctor was nice, but I just dont think we hit it off and will probably have to go somewhere else moving forward or see if I can have another one
I’m extremely pleased with my care. Dr Kapnadak is a fabulous physician. I’ve recommended her to countless friends and physician colleagues. She’s extremely knowledgeable and personable. I’m so grateful for her care and compassion.
I’ve been going to Seattle OB/GYN for some time now and every single MD, MA, front desk person I’ve worked with has been absolutely amazing. I’ve mainly worked with Dr. Kapnadak and my favorite thing about her is she listens. She acknowledges all of my concerns. If you’re looking for an OB/GYN office I’d highly suggest going here.
Dr. Kimelman has been an honest, caring, and wonderful professional over the last 24 yrs. I recommend her for anyone needing a great OB/GYN from child birth, teens, adulthood and menopause. Im moving away and pray I can find another like Dr. Kimelman. Thank you!
Had a terrible experience with Dr. Julie Iverson who was v condescending while my wife was in labor, gaslit her and failed to provide adequate care. We were forcibly sent back home while she was in active labor. Do not recommend.
We love Dr. Foltz! She’s kind, patient and oh so knowledgeable. She’s the perfect Sherpa to help guide our baby into this world.
Throughout my two appointments, I was asked many condescending questions about my relationship status, as well as wether I was still consuming alcohol after I knew I was pregnant. The staff treated me like I was an irresponsible teenager who got pregnant on accident. To be fair the two nurses I spoke to who were on call when I had questions were very helpful and supportive, but the in office staff couldn’t even draw blood effectively. I will be choosing a different office for my future prenatal care.
I have seen Dr McKeever for almost ten years now, for both gynecology and the birth of my two kids. Through two very different pregnancies and deliveries, Dr McKeever and Lisa (NP) were both comforting, kind, and informative. I HIGHLY recommend this practice.
Dr. Sondra Kapnadak was friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. She listened to me and explained things regrading my medical issue and my options. I liked her very much!
I had Dr. Daniel when I first moved here who was wonderful, but shes unfortunately retired. Ive tried for a year now to switch over to one of the other doctors at this practice and have had my appointment with Dr. Foltz canceled on me now TWICE. Ive missed having an annual appointment for 2019 and received a letter in the mail to reschedule my 2020 appointment. On hold for over 20 min and finally when the scheduler answers, shes nasty on the phone about me being upset about needing to reschedule this AGAIN and would rather I focus on respecting her. This is beyond unprofessional and not worth the hassle.
I recommend this group to everyone. Dr Mckeever is the loveliest human, but I have seen many of the docs for different issues and there isn’t a single one I would not recommend. Two babies and a lot of pregnancy losses, and I don’t think I could have gotten more competent or compassionate care anywhere. Thanks SeaOBGyn
The Seattle OB/GYN Group has top notch service. The front line staff are friendly and helpful. Always willing to work with my schedule. Dr. Luba Foltz and RN Cindy provides high quality care and truly care about their patients.
I have never ever been disrespected like I was today by their billing department. I called and left a message for clarification of my bill and the callback I got was extremely rude and unnecessarily telling me that the Seattle Obgyn could choose to not be courteous in explaining billing. But more than anything, Im appalled and saddened by how accusatory the reply to an inquiry was. Meanwhile I had every intention to pay for it. Seattle Obgyn is my greatest regret in medical care. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone if such disrespect is common. However, if you can tolerate it, my Ob was great.
First and foremost THIS IS NOT SWEDISH (they fall under the swedish umbrella, it is proliane surgeons group) The doctor I wanted didnt have availability for my due date so I went with their suggestion. She never spent more than 10 min each visit. Then sent me to maternal and fetal medicine for classes on dieting for gestational diabetes. I went 2 times then sat with a dietitian to find exactly what I was dealing with seeing as how I never took the glucose test. Found out they listed type 2 and gestational diabetes in my file and only ever referred to it as gestational diabetes during visits. So I switched to the maternal and fetal clinic as a provider and Seattle obgyn cancelled my 20 week ultrasound appointment. (The ultrasound office is not solely their office there was no need to cancel a damn thing that was just being petty). The staff is nice enough but you get treated like a number. If anyone cares they pick and chose they care about cause they damn sure didnt with me I broke out in a rash and they couldnt tell me what was wrong and didnt give me a referral to a dermatologist for a 2nd opinion but rather told me to watch it and let them know if it gets worse. Maybe other women find this clinic to great but my experience was not a good one at all.
Dr. Foltz is one of my favorite doctors, but after more than four years of seeing her I cannot any longer; the negligence of the Seattle OB/GYN Group office has made it not safe to go there for care.In summer 2018, I called the billing department, notifying them of an upcoming health insurance change—from Aetna to state-funded—and inquiring about out-of-pocket costs.Come early 2019, I arrive at my annual appointment only for it to be cancelled because it is illegal for [them] to take money from people with state-funded insurance. (Side note: I talked to a few medical professionals about this and they had never heard of such a policy.) They informed me that Dr. Foltz can put some established patients on her panel, but to do so I would need to change my insurance under Apple Health to one of the options they gave. After going through the tedious task of changing insurance, I called to reschedule only for them to tell me that Dr. Foltz does not accept even established patients with [that insurance.] I responded with honesty about how much distress their lack of clear communication has caused. They responded saying they were going to send my information to someone higher up with hopes to reach some sort of resolution...That was two months ago. There is still no resolution, not even one apology.
Seattle OB/GYN is always great. Caring staff, excellent care. Almost always on time, even in afternoons, which is fabulous. Great at GYN care as well as OB (Drs Koala and Foltz delivered my kids).
I love Dr Droz! She is warm, compassionate, down to earth and real. Im so grateful to have met her during my peri menopausal years and am very grateful to have her on my health care team.
Ive seen Dr. Mckeever for almost ten years. She delivered my son. She is the gentlest, kindest soul. If you have concerns as I can get anxious about everything, she always is so gracious to walk you through it. She has the most laid back demeanor. Shes wonderful. Lucia Robinson is amazing. If Dr. Mckeever is full, Ill always happily see Lucia. She too is so kind and sweet. Dr. Droz did a D&C on me. She was incredible at such a heartbreaking time. She was so supportive and thoughtful. All lead with expert medical advice that has never failed me and lovely bedside manners. I highly recommend!
All the doctors are amazing. Particularly Dr.Martin and Dr.Foltz. They delivered my two beautiful boys. Foltz managed to do a successful inversion so I was able to avoid a c section when my baby was breech. Office has a great view as well.
My wife received care from Dr. Luba Foltz. She is an amazing doctor and was very supportive and patient through the entire pregnancy and also available to deliver the baby.
Excellent practice all around. Cannot recommend enough and so fortunate moved from San Francisco at beginning of pregnancy to Seattle - level of care at Seattle OB/GYN group far superior, which was so helpful as a first time mom to be.
This group rushes to treatment without properly educating themselves. From the receptionist, who entered my info in the wrong patient profile as I repeatedly told her that nothing had changed on my end, to a TERRIBLE procedure with Dr. Harvey, the knowledge, professionalism and patient interactions here are extremely substandard. My botched procedures with Dr. Harvey resulted in physical trauma that I am still resolving. Dr. Droz also misdiagnosed me with an AVM and referred me to Swedish Radiology, who were going to operate even though that was not what I had. Glad I went for a second opinion and switched providers. Dont go here.
We found Seattle OB/GYN generally professional, except for when it came to following up. The nurses, seemed generally annoyed when we asked difficult questions or ones they didnt want to answer. Our main disappointment came after the delivery of our daughter. Seattle OB/GYN refused to help us get a birth certificate for our daughter, leaving us to fend for ourselves against the hospital administration! Super disappointed the relation turned south after we paid the bill. Make sure you get a birth certificate before paying this group.
Dr Kimelman and her colleagues are skillful, knowledgeable, attentive to details, they take the time to discuss any questions you may have and have a way of putting you at ease. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a hysterectomy or any other OB/GYN need.
Highly professional, empathetic & nonjudgmental. I was able to get high-quality care, received clear answers to all my questions, and felt very respected the entire time. Definitely going to become my go-to OB/GYN!
Dr Foltz is a one of a kind. I have a few preexisting conditions that made my pregnancies high risk and trusted her with everything. She is simply wonderful!
I’ve been seeing Doctor Koala for many years. I’ve informed her that she is not allowed to retire until after my death. It’s rare to find doctors anymore who genuinely know and care who a patient “is”. Doctors terrify me. But not Dr Koala. C’mon. How can you not wanna hug a koala? (but you shouldn’t)
The staff are friendly and caring. My appt was exactly the time allotted and I wasn’t waiting for very long. I continue to go here because I like all the doctors I have seen so far. Each is genuine and care about my well being. Thank you for having a great team of staff!
Dr. Kapnadak is great. Shes really patient. She listens to all questions, and answers them with as much info as she can give. I never felt rushed out, and I definitely always felt heard.
I was very pleased with my visit. The staff took appropriate COVID precautions prior to and during the appointment. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. And Dr. Koala heard my concerns and answered my questions fully!

The doctor here is very nice and professional. However, there is an extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist who seems to hate working here. Not sure what her problem is.1 or 0 star for the receptionist. 5 star doc.

Their Pediatric Therapy department is wonderful! I do wonder why places like this charge for parking. Im sure they are making enough money to offer free parking.

I enjoy Dr Kola she is very knowledgeable and makes me feel very comfortable every time I have seen her.
They lost my test results which I only found out after calling them. I doubt they have a tracking system of the tests. Im surprised at the level of negligence.
