Terrible registration. Scheduled my appointment and waited 4 months for it, made sure to ask if they accept my insurance and was told they do. I get there and they tell me my appt is actually not at 10 (which I scheduled specifically at that time because of work) but it’s at 1. So whoever scheduled me put me in for the wrong time. Okay, I ended up leaving work to go to this 1pm appt and when I get there they tell me they don’t accept my insurance. Excuse me? Couldn’t tell me earlier? I did ask when scheduling and was told yes, AND came in earlier same day but still wasn’t informed until I had to leave my job to make it to this darn apportionment just to not be seen. Awful receptionists.
I had a long, complicated induction. From start to finish the nurses were helpful and pleasant. They always made sure I was comfortable, had everything I needed, seemed to genuinely care, and checked on me in a timely manner. They were always willing to help after baby arrived as well and offered breast feeding support if they noticed I was having a hard time, patiently helping me until we got it. The doctors were amazing too and saved my babys life. I am forever grateful to all of the staff that was there during my visit.
The atmosphere of this location is gloomy. The directions in the app do not mention having to stop at registration to check in, prior to checking in again when arriving to actual location of appointment. If you do not stop you will have to back track just a heads up.
These people told me at my 12 week ultrasound that my baby had a major birth defect and would not survive. They repeatedly advised me to terminate and when I told my doctor that I researched the condition and there were children that survived and are doing well, I was brushed off and patronized. Well, that little baby that I was told had zero chance of survival is thriving today at 3 months old and is right on track developmentally. I wish doctors would do some research before advising their patients.
Told us we could leave at a certain time they keep changing it so they can monitor mom but all tests results for baby and mom have come back fine. Food has been slow and trash, nurses don’t do anything besides come in maybe every two hours. Baystate is a joke.
The midwives are fantastic. Even though my labor was complicated, they stuck by me and provide safe care for both my daughter and myself. Having a competent team around me made me feel safe. Thank you again!!!
I give them one star only because its impossible to give 0. Horrible office, switched my colposcopy 3 times after me having requested the day off work each time. Even scheduled it with someone other than my doctor. Go somewhere else! Anywhere else!
The midwifes are very good but those who are in charge to schudler you for your c section I dont get them they just pick a date they like no discussion with you if you are OK with the date or not then they will tell the doctors that they didnt get you on phone mean while they never called or made the attempt to even live a voice massage for you to make a fellow up please this is frustrating we have kids in the house, need to come in knowing your children are in good hands so that you will have peace on the day of your c section please and please
