My boyfriend went in for a blood test and Amanda and Leslie were so kind, polite, and to the point! I didn’t realize how quickly it would be done- we were literally in and out of the office in less than 5 minutes. We’re grateful to them for the pleasant experience!
Unable to bring my child in for her appointment due to inappropriate employee behavior. As I exited my vehicle in the parking lot, a Sonora Quest staff member blocked my car, flashed her Sonora quest badge and told me I was in her private parking spot and needed to move my vehicle. I stated that there were no signs saying this was assigned parking, only that it is private for people using the facility. She proceeded to be rude and aggressive, once again flashing her Sonora quest badge as a form of intimidation and demanding that I move my vehicle. As there was no other parking available, I was forced to leave before we could even get inside for our appointment. This woman created an unsafe environment before we even made it to check in and needs to be educated on patient and family centered values. I will not be returning as I do not wish to have aggressive, careless providers providing inadequate patient care to myself or my children.
Friday, super busy reception, waiting for over an hour, no public address system, no communication with other labs. They just took my papers and told me to wait from 45 minutes to an hour, when the hour passed and there were no people left in the lobby, I went to the reception desk. I asked how long to wait? They told me that they were working on my documents and I needed to wait another hour and twenty minutes later they called my name at the registration desk. When I approached, they told me that they could not draw blood, they did not have the components. I asked for the administrator, but he was not there. The laboratory assistant came up and repeated everything again. She said that they didn’t read my papers and couldn’t do anything, no one was apologizing, there was no solution to my issue, in the end she started yelling at me. Complete discrimination based on language. I am a new person in the USA, I never thought that I could encounter such horror towards people in the modern world in a civilized country with paid medicine.
Came 15 mins early for an appointment for my kid. 45 mins later they still havent called me up to take my paperwork. The front girls just sit upfront laughing talking about people making fun of them. Made me feel really uncomfortable and Im sure the whole lobby full of people as well
I have always gone to the location at Banner Desert. Went today after a Dr appt and it had permanently closed. I googled nearest one and this location popped up. Not gonna lie, when I read the reviews I was iffy. Got there, checked in, I didn’t have an appt so I was prepared to have to sit for possibly hours. Front staff, super nice! I witnessed them have to deal with 2 not nice people…they were very professional and kind. I don’t even think I waited 1/2 hour. My phlebotomist Jenny was great, very professional. I will definitely go back to this location.
Great location, ALL staff were pleasant, especially my phlebotomist Shanna. She was super nice and did a great job with my routine labs, and double checked my name and birthdate. I made an appointment about 4 days ahead and used a kiosk to check in when I arrived, which required me to scan a barcode from an email they had sent me. Once checked in, less than 5 minutes passed before someone behind the desk asked for my paperwork. Then another 5 minutes before being called back. Thank you Shanna!
First time at this. Lab.They were. Quick efficient, And the lab was Clean? The staff was very caring and And did a wonderful job of drawing your blood.. I gave them.A ten
Easy to drop off sample. Not too busy and worker who accepted sample was polite and professional.
I don’t understand all the negative reviews, my experience here was great. Even though the lobby was packed, they got me in really close to my appointment time. The receptionist was nice and super efficient, and the blood draw went really well. My phlebotomist was quick, understanding (I faint at the sight of my own blood), and made everything really easy. I would definitely recommend this facility.
Came in at lunch. The waiting room was full but I didnt wait long. The poke didnt hurt at all and everyone was very nice.
Great experience, I was in and out in 10 minutes with no trouble. Sarahi was my tech, she did well at distracting me and was super quick!
The staff here is incredible!!! There were multiple upset customers in the lobby who were rude to the front desk staff for the wait time, and the gal upfront only responded with patience and kindness. The nurse who did my lab work was amazing! As someone who has a huge fear of needles, she was understanding, kind, and talked with me through the whole process. I am so impressed by the Sonora Quest staff at this location. Thank you for making a normally scary experience very positive for me!
I walked in at 6:00 am with no appointment, was done and out at 6:15. Fast, efficient, and professional!
They never told me I had a 25$ balance for a copay and sent me to collections. For 25$.
RUDE RUDE RUDE front desk staff. Had an appointment at 1:15 didn’t see a phlebotomist until 2:05.Woman at front desk asked me for my insurance ID card, and doctors order for our infant son’s labs. I asked if I could print out my insurance ID card because it wasn’t in my wallet, I think it’s in my purse at home but I have a digital card. Then the order which was supposed to be faxed over wasn’t so she told me I needed to contact the doctors office and get one. I got confused and was trying to get clarification and she accused me of “getting an attitude”. I told her I just didn’t understand what she meant, and if she needed Insurance ID or not. I’m suffering from brain fog being I just delivered a baby a few days ago and struggling with PPD. Then another couple walks in with the same problem and she treats them completely different, stopping and explaining everything. Luckily another front desk person came over to help and was much nicer, but the first front desk person here butchered the experience for us. The lady who drew blood was fine, but we won’t come back here again.Just awful.
I’d rather give this 0 stars. Made an appointment online and showed up on time for my appointment. Was told that there would be two people in front of me. A half an hour later I asked for an update on my weight time and was told there were now three people in front of me. I collected my paperwork and left.
I normally do not write reviews, but my experience today was HORRIBLE, I checked in and was called instantly after providing my insurance information. Only to be told I have a balance from two weeks ago of $179 dollars I had no problem handing the lady my debit card to pay the balance I know is my responsibility. Here is where I do NOT agree with how they work. I waited after that for 2 hours and I was still NOT called to get my blood work done. I had to ask them to give me back my lab requests because I had 10 min. to get to work. they handed me the paper wok faster then fast. My problem is they had no issue collecting almost $200 dollars from me when I could of just paid the bill when I receive it in the mail but had me wait 2 hours for NOTHING!! Why not charge the patient once called back for blood work instead of taking the money and making one feel like it was worth NOTHING because I waited two hours and was never called back but was called within 5 min of arriving just to collect $179. I have never waited so long in any other location. I dont mind the wait its that I paid and didnt get the service I was requesting done!!!! NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!
Would honestly give 0 stars if it was an option. Originally I found this location and was happy because I wanted somewhere appointment only, so I would not have a long wait time as I needed a newborn screen and would prefer to not have my newborn exposed to multiple people or germs. Came in today with my newborn for a scheduled appointment at 1:15, arrived 10 minutes early and checked in and took a seat. Waited about 40 minutes and was never called for my insurance card or lab order. So I checked back in at the desk to see if there was an issue to be told in a condescending tone, Something weird happened and the system cancelled my check in, because there were 2 people with the same last name. After another 15 minutes finally was taken to the back and the lab tech was rude the entire time. Needless to say, but I will DEFINITELY NOT return to this location for any lab needs.
You guys are a terrible institution. I came there and was told it was covered by my insurance just for me to get a call 1 YEAR LATER FROMA DEBT COLLECTOR AGENCY that I owe money. Like why not call me and tell me first? Why go to a debt collector agency before even contacting me? And why wait a whole year? I have no words man
Staff at this location were great! I got checked in right away because I had an appointment, and Linda did my testing for my work medical insurance screening. She was great! Linda was very efficient, but friendly and easy to talk to. I was actually done by 8 AM, the time my appointment was actually scheduled. Quick and painless!! :)
I made an appointment online (because a human wasnt an option) a week in advance. When we got there the front office person was super RUDE, and very abrasive, never addressed us or anything. I saw a small kiosk and asked if I should sign in on it she said, yes. I signed in and sat for about 30 in an overcrowded waiting room. When she finally called us up she said they didnt take my insurance. We had to leave and go elsewhere. What a waste of time and if they had a human making appointment and checking people in, instead of a kiosk this wouldnt have happened.
They got me in promptly after I scheduled online. The doctor I had was lovely and light hearted and got all my things done quickly and effectively.A man was irate about not being able to drop his stuff off quickly when they only made him wait maybe 5 minutes. It was very crowded in there at the time. He yelled at the staff and I felt bad for them .
Been to many Sonora quests and this is the most poorly ran one. This is a embarrassment to health care!!!
Terrible customer service. I drove all the way out of my way for car side routine labs. I signed up for text alerts. When I get there Carside is closed and no contact from the company. You think they could call or text their car side customers. They closed it for weather and it’s on the 80s??? Now I am still fasting needing my blood drawn.
If you make an appointment first, it goes pretty quickly. I realize people may think that other people are getting served faster, but they dont know who made appointments and who didnt. I have always been in and out within 20 minutes, and the person doing my blood draw has been kind and friendly.
The staff was excellent, from the front desk to my phlebotomist Shannon, who was friendly and skilled. Walking in without an appointment on a Saturday morning, I was ready for a long wait, but was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Definitely the friendliest vampires around. 🙃
Front desk clerk was rude. I waited patiently for her to complete her task before asking a question. She asked if I needed help and so I proceeded to ask her my question. She snapped back at me and told me she was busy and to wait my turn even though I was the only one in line to speak with her. If you are having a bad day, please do not take it out on others
Horrible service! They tried both of my arms and poked me dozen of times but still failed to draw my blood. I had an appointment at 2:30 PM but took an hour to check me in. After they failed to draw my blood, they asked me to make another appointment and kick me out cuz they are about to close! They waste me one and half hour and tortured me for 30 minutes then kicked me out, that is my experience of this visit!
Theyll treat you like a dog. They wont tell you that you have to wait an hour or longer even though you made an appointment. Its a typical Healthcare industry thing where they dont tell you that something has changed and you dont know why youre still waiting because nobody told you, and then they wonder whywhen they should have told you. You wait hours wondering if youll wait a few more minutes you can save the lost time until you decide its a sunk cost. But, if course theyre Healthcare workers, theyre heros, right? Who do you think you are expecting them to prioritize oneself over other people? Who cares if you made an appointment and we chose not to inform you that it doesnt matter and you can go to work late.
I was nervous coming here because of some of the reviews but I very much trust my doctor that sent me here for blood work. Everyone I interacted with was amazing! I wish I got their names but the ladies at the front desk were very kind and patient with me —I did not know I needed to fast beforehand and they allowed me to come back the following day and fit me in. While waiting both days I watched them handle those that weren’t the nicest calmly and professionally.Timothy did my blood work and he was very calming and funny. I started to feel extremely nauseous and faint while getting my blood drawn and he was quick to help me recover. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to drive myself home but in a matter of a few minutes he had me feeling perfectly well again. As someone who feels very uncomfortable and anxious in medical settings I felt completely at ease here. Additionally, the facility was very clean and set up nicely for social distancing.
They need to increase the appointment forfeit time to 30 minutes. Some people are still hourly employees and can’t take much time away from our work. Having missed my window by 5 minutes then having to become a walk in for over an hour wait is totally ridiculous.Shannon at the location here on Country Club Way was not empathetic at all, didn’t seem to care this lab test was very life changing. Sonora Quest you have dropped the ball on customer service, you definitely aren’t doing well with your customer service.
Terrible service. First they don’t acknowledge you & want everything done on auto check in. My husband is unable to do than & the directions we’re given in a sharp voice. I was told to follow the prompts & had difficulty. I became frustrated & was treated so rudely. No attempt to help! We will be going to labcorp from now on!
I arrived at 10:40 for my 10:45am appt, which I was able to schedule online last night. It is now 11:03am and I am in my car ready to go home. The waiting room was clean and organized. The staff was super busy and tried to get people in and out as quickly as possible. For a front office staff dealing with a room full of people coming and going every 15 minutes, I commend them on their patience as they must get stressed out working at that pace. That being said, I do believe it is beneficial to schedule an appointment versus just walking in.My phlebotomist was friendly and acknowledge and I would definitely go here again.
Pleasant, comfortable waiting room -- much nicer than the other nearby Sonora Quest locations. The staff was helpful in quickly confirming that they had my lab orders. Very reasonable wait time for my first visit here mid-week. mid-morning, and no appointment. Follow up one month later, this time with an appointment. Mid-week again, quite busy, but in and out in just 11 minutes!
I went to this location today for the first time. They are quick and polite. While one is checking-in at the kiosk, front desk also checks-in the the people from the wait line. If you get checked-in by front desk, you are pushed one up in the checked-in queue. That is not fair for the people who use automated system even though it only increases 5 minute in wait time.
If someone else would open up at least three more labs in the east valley, it might relieve the stress on the blood labs in this area. The waiting rooms are always crowded, and getting an appointment isnt easy to do if you need orders quickly. You have to book a minimum of a week out or longer. Its ridiculous. Its not the fault of the staff, but it takes its toll on them and they can be very short with customers. The wait is always long and frankly if you are going to stuff us in a crowded waiting room for 1-2.5 hours, please stop playing country music!
Second time coming here with an appointment and theyre understaffed running behind 30min+Both times the AC in the front was out and its ridiculously hot. The waiting room is packed with not enough seats for everyone.
Im sorry to say an employee at this location could use some remedial training for customer service skills. After checking in with the option for no appointment on the kiosk I overheard Rita at the front desk tell another patient that they would not be seen without an appointment. This patient left, presumably to go to another location as suggested by Rita. I then approached the desk because we also did not have an appointment but had not been alerted to that being an issue. Rita rudely told me we would not be seen because the facility is appointment only. I asked if there is a standby protocol. She was adamant that we should go somewhere else, handed us a paper with 2 locations and gave no other options. Thankfully Iyesha and the other phlebotomist at the front desk (unfortunately I didnt catch her name) were incredibly kind and let me know I DID have the option of waiting, it would be about 30 minutes. Rita, still standing there said it could be longer! before disappearing into the patient care area. We were called back in about 15 minutes (sooner than expected and sooner than it would have been to get to any other location) by Stacey who did an amazing job with my anxious child, obtaining 2 vials on the first poke despite my child having some fearful movements. Overall the experience went much better than I anticipated and without Rita involved would have been an overall good experience.
Front desk was super nice. Blood test super easy and fast. Glucose test was even smooth. I hate doing the process. But they made it super easy and not stressful. =)
Overall a pleasant visit and very good service. Going into unfamiliar territory was an interesting experience as the front office staff seem to assume you know everything about the place where nothing is familiar. Other than that after standing awkwardly at the front desk waiting for what was assumed to be further directions the visit was uneventful and the blood was drawn and packaged very, very carefully. Presenting the vials for name confirmation was a step in properly identifying them I had not seen before. Also the tablet checkin was a welcome change from the first time some months ago. Good job folks!
I had to return some specimens, when I asked how to do so( ie do I need an appointment, do I need to do anything special or specific) I was told “no just walk in and drop them off” well I did just that Monday morning. They actually made me sign in and wait 30 minutes with a specimen that required refrigeration. If I had to wait that’s fine but tell me that when I asked so I could plan accordingly( I would have brought a cooler and I would have told my hospital that I was going to be late) BE CLEAR IN YOUR EXPECTATIONS OF YOUR PATIENTS (for your convenience and theirs)
The front desk girls was friendly and helpful . The lab tech “Mathew” did excellent job on my dad blood work. My dad had hardtime getting blood because of small vein, but Mathew did only one time and quickly.
No longer taking any walk ins very soon. Going to appointment only. I was glad they were able to get me in today, however their web site and all marketing information needs top be updated top reflect this new policy change. Arty least if your insurance does not care there is a Labcore right across the street and you may be annoyed to go there instead.
They are always great! Staff from entering to exiting are always friendly, efficient and caring. Have never had a bad experience. I always feel I am in good hands when my blood is drawn and never have any problem s, but today had to be the most smoothest ever!
I made a 12:30 appointment waited 1 hour and the receptionist was very rude when I asked her about my appointment. I was told they were behind and I needed to ait down until my orders were ready.
I have been coming fairly regularly to this facility and I ALWAYS make appointment. This locations also took walk-ins up until a month or so ago. But they always got me in within 15 minutes of my appt. BUT NOW they are only taking appointments. When I came in today the lobby was packed. Despite getting there 10 mins early and it was already 10 mins past my appt. (1:30pm) there were still 5 people in front of me. They were not taking them back timely either so may have been short help. Very annoying when you have spine pain and dont feel well I dont feel my patience is already thin. I hope they figure it out and quit over booking or get more help. I had to leave because there is no way I would have been out of there by 2:15 for my 1:30 appt. I will reschedule and if I have the same issue I will seek out another facility to do my labs. Thank you
The worst Sonora Quest in metro Phx. Waiting room filled with ppl and over the course of 40 mins only ONE person was called back. I still had not been checked in (40 mins after arriving), but ppl who had arrived 30 mins after me were. I went to the counter to check because I knew my name was at the end of a sheet and it appeared the lady checking ppl was working from a newer sheet. Just as I get to the counter, the other lady behind the counter calls over and says You have a previous sheet you should be using. So I thought, she would apologise for skipping me -- just human error, no biggie. Right? Nope. She chewed me out because I came in without an appointment -- but every person she had called up was there without an appointment!! I know, because they asked every one of them and I had nothing better to do for 40 mins than watch the ineptitude of their staff. In addition to not actually doing any blood draws in that 40 mins, the front desk staff was rude and treated all of us like we were a horrible bother. Not once did they bother to explain the delays, apologize, or give us an update. I was not the only one who got up and walked out on them.
Horrible! Every time my doctors send orders, they claim that they didnt recieve them, so Ive made it a habit to call them a couple of hours before I go to verify the orders were received. Without fail, I always have to call my doctors office to have the orders re-sent. On at least 2 occassions, Ive had to wait over 90 minutes for a blood draw.
I went to this specific location because I had minutes to get my specimen to the lab. I had to keep the specimen cold. The first priority should have been trying to keep the specimen cold but the lady at the front desk wasnt concerned about my needs instead she asked me to come to the back office. When I attempted to hand her the specimen she declined to take it and instead she gives me a stack of papers and said that I would have to go outside and call the office number she provided to me.She then declined to take the specimen and said she could not touch it until I called the number. It was already 85 degrees outside and the main goal with the test was to get it delivered to the lab within half hour and have it cold/refrigerated. I proceeded to call the number outside in 85 degree weather and ruined the 24 hour specimen and then I find out that the timeframe for the balances owed was way back in 2008 and 2007 and I had updated my mailing address multiple times with this company. So imagine my surprise when I was told by the billing company that it was my responsibility to update you address and then I was informed that the billing office doesnt get any of there information from the Lab because the two separate systems. Bottom line wasted 😭 specimen. Uncaring Staff and not only that but a complete uncaring billing department who kept repeating the same thing Its up to you to ensure that your mailing address is current! And even though I did that I was told that due to HIppa Laws the billing department cant get updated address from the lab! I would stay far away from this facility.
I have never had a good experience here, and today is no exception. They are rude, and making people wait seems to be the best part of their day. I came to drop off a specimen today, had to sign in and here I sit... I am at the 15 minute mark. A week ago I was here for a blood draw and waited a full hour. Then I had the worst draw I have ever had. I have an obvious vein and the woman jabbed the needle in and punctured my vein. Then she dug it around a little... really? I wish I could post the picture. She then handed me a specimen cup and walked out of The room without telling me where the restroom was. I wandered around for a little bit looking for the restroom and finally had to ask. The restroom was filthy and had no wipes. 10 minutes later I found another restroom. If you like rude people, This is the place for you. Never again
Stacy here was amazing. Quick and easy process. I wasn’t feeling great afterwards and she made sure I was taken care of. Great place for a blood draw.
I have had my blood work done here maybe 6 times over the last three years. Sometimes there were some long waits, and Im ok with that. This morning however, there was a smaller than usual group in the waiting room, maybe 15-20 people. 5 additional customers walked in after that.Every single one of them was called in while I waited for an hour. All the appointments came in at the same time they tell me. I sat down for 15 mins more, then asked them what was going on. I see the huddle, like NFL refs, and suddenly oh, theyre calling you in right now.... Fine. The tech asks me which arm, and I want in the right, like always. She looks and says no lets do the left arm. Shes now digging around with the needle telling me how slippery the vein is and she cant find it. I point my finger to my right arm vein, where I wanted it the first place. Lo, and behold the vein I point out works great. The rubber band tourniquet is hurting my arm though. I ask about it, and the lady tells me that if she takes off the tourniquet, the blood will stop flowing. This is so wrong. It show a fundamental lack of understanding and/or training. Leaving the tourniquet on for too long is dangerous, can cause hemoconcentration, and skew the test results. As Im silently fuming, I get several snarky comments: 1) You should drink more water, because the veins really shrink up. 2) Were not making you late for work, are we? 3) Im using the small needle thats why its taking so long. 4) Making appointments is really easy online! Its probably best to avoid this company. They have unqualified staff and bad customer service.
Really disorganized and the desk staff dont communicate with patients. I needed to do an at home test and was sent home with minimal instructions and no information about storage or what needed to be done to bring it back (turns out they have to have you walk into a room in order to hand them a baggie). I had to look up the directions online and everyone except the tech who actually accepted my test kit were dismissive and couldnt be bothered with patients
Not too happy with Sonora Quest right now. Had blood drawn 2/25/21 in order to get my prescription refilled. Come to find out that the ordering doctor would not refill my prescription because they never got the results of the test. Sonora Quest had no record of test being done but they charged Medicare which is proof I did the test. Had to make another appointment with the ordering doctor to put in another request for test. I am going to give Sonora Quest another try. Hopefully they wont screw it up this time.
What is the point of making appointments (and in an appointments only location, but they actually take walk-ins)? My chronicly ill son had an appointment, but when we checked in, the wait was at least an hour. He gets so weak going on any outing that he can only last a short time, before he collapses. We had to leave without his bloodwork. This is really a shoddy Operation. They obviously have no idea about how to run the business.
The twin Brothers, I am not sure of their name, but I think their first names are Saed and one of the front desk people, I think her name is Stacy, they are all so nice and friendly. I have never had a problem with this facility. Also a young girl just had a baby and I do not know her name, but she is also very nice. It is nice to go somewhere and have people treat you nice.
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Explained that I have been waiting and people who didnt have appointment came in after me and were seen before me. When how long the wait was, I was given a condescending response of your next. I then explained that I had an hour lunch and needed an ETA so I can call my employer to notify them. I was rudely ignored as if I didnt ask anything at all!
I had an appointment at one location in Mesa. Office closed without notice. Called for assistance and re-routed to Tempe location. Told I should have been notified and I was not. Told my appointment no longer valid at new location. .VERY poor communication by company.
This is very convenient to our home. Facility is clean, staff very efficient, practically painless blood draws. Appreciate the timely adherence to appointment times. Much better than sitting for hours waiting to be seen. Highly recommend this facility.
IWas a little apprehensive about this center after reading the reviews. But the experience was much better. I was seen within 10 minutes of reaching there. And it was pretty simple to get the test results emailed to me.All the test menu and pricing is very transparent (no insurance). I think the prices are pretty competitive. Thought the breadth of testing on No-Insurance pricing is rather limited. Will definitely go there again if needed.
I found the staff here to be rather rude and impatient, most definitely lacking training in customer service and perhaps dealing with the public in general. They just yell your information at you so the whole waiting area can hear and stare at you, they wouldnt do my labs because they said I needed to fast first, even though it had been 8 hours since I last ate that morning she still said no because I ate that day so we cant do them. I asked if we an just do them since Im here and if anything is an issue I can just come back and redo but I desperately need these done to start a new medication. and after getting ahold of my doctor she said that was not her orders, the front desk employee was not willing to work with me or give me any options so unfortunately I missed my appointment and am now sitting at another location waiting for 2 hours now.
I was going to miss my appointment so I called and asked if I should reschedule and Rita said they hold appointments for 15 minutes and then it becomes a walk in. I come in and Im asked if I have an appointment and I said I had one but am here to sign in and wait and was interrupted and told theyre an appointment only site. I said nothing else and walked out. Why would you tell me its okay to come in anyways make me drive down and turn me down at the door. WHY?! I was fine with rescheduling at home or at work but you literally wasted me time and gas. This lab site in particular sucks. Again, Thanks for nothing Rita!
Appointment only place and myself along with 4 others are still waiting to be called back 45 minutes after our appointment time. Poor time management skills with zero excuses. Maybe they need to reduce the amount of people they schedule for each appointment/time slot.
Im going through Chemo and have to get blood taken quite often and dont enjoy being stuck. Its being a great pleasure to go somewhere people understand and are nice. Please let them no if your scared to get your blood taken. I get my blood done so many times that I only allow one stick. Be your own advocate and tell them how you feel, theyre real understanding. Tim is the best, thank you Tim.
A driver or urs threw a coke can at my Corvette!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im am so angry!!!! You guys keep giving me the run around and Im getting a lawyer!
Had an appt at 7:30. Arrived at 7:25 to find about 20 people waiting. When the doors opened people went in the door basically in the order they arrived. By the time I got in it was 7:38. Signed in and waited while others were called (only saw 1 other on the list with an appointment.) Im wondering why they dont call the names of the people with appointments at 7:30 to come in ahead of the rush as they open the door. Othewrwise, whats the point in having an appointment?????????
Absolutely horrible. If I could give zero stars I would. I called to straighten out my bill and was on hold for over an hour and still never got to speak with anyone! Ridiculous! Your customer service sucks! I have had to call the last two times I got my yearly panel done because I get overcharged for something. Absolutely unbelievable.
Could not be happier with my visit to the Southern and Country Club location. Was early to my appointment but was in and out in short order. From the reception staff to the phlebotomist, all were friendly, courteous, and professional.
The front office girls are friendly and courteous. I was in their today and a cranky older man was complaining loudly. This was uncalled for but it was handled very well by the staff. I have nothing negative to report. Just kudos to them for putting up with grouchy, impatient people in a busy office.
The two times I have visited its been a long wait. This last time was over an hour wait then I realized I made my appointment at Lab Corp. At Lab Corp there was only 1 other person in the waiting room. I was in and out in under 15 minutes.
I only went here once. E Earl was closed temporarily. I went to Scottsdale Rd, who sent me N Scottsdale next day. They had had a flood which meant I had to go to 2000 E Southern Ave. As I was leaving I saw I could have just gone to the place accross the street. Both companies are insurance accepted. With the exception of Scottsdale Rd all other Sonora Quest are 5 stars. The closed sign on the E Earl Dr door instructed people to go to Scottsdale Rd.
I would not recommend this lab for anyone especially children. I am totally upset today because the lab technician was keep on pricking my childs arm for long time and she was not able to find the vein. I even told her to find the vein in the other hand as it will be easy because we did some blood work couple of weeks ago. She never bothered me. It made my day bad.
Long wait. only one phlebotomist working and 16 people in the waiting room. some walk-in customers are seen ahead of others.. be prepared to wait 1-2 hours to be seen at this location. Once I was actually seen the phlebotomist did a great job and was professional.
By appointment only they change the rules this place but dod not tell me when I pckup kit, when I walked in without appointment or when i gave insurrance card. Then they supprised when I asked how long until I got in, after waiting two hours.
Worst location ever! Don’t waste your time. My appointment was scheduled for 2pm, arrived 10 minutes prior and wasn’t taken back until 2:28. This happened one time before and I thought I would give them another chance. Don’t do it! Will not be going back to this location.
Ive been in this place for a blood test for the wellness program of my company. They sent me two results which are BMI and blood pressure. This is so ridiculous and stupid. I tried to reach them and they said well investigate this and get back to you. Its been almost 3 weeks and there is no result. I could get this results by myself, I dont need to go this place and waste my time. Be aware, dont waste your time too.
Im in there every six months getting blood work. Today they tell me I have an outstanding bill from 3 years ago. Maybe they should collect at the time services are rendered. Are they gonna pay me for the time it takes me to look through my records to prove I dont owe anything. I doubt it. So I went accross the street, actually walked across the street to LabCorp. Stupid
Verify any and all insurance numbers etc when checking in. They screwed up on insurance info by adding an extra number and now, there is no record of any existing insurance plan etc...and of course when you call youre on hold forever and the calls drop off. Its a mess.
I walked in today to get some routine lab work done. The staff was quick and efficient from the moment I walked in. I spent about 20 minutes total at this location. I think their digital kiosks used to check in really helped the process.
It should be called Sonora BS. After playing games for 3 days (they made me go to 4 different locations in Tempe, Mesa, &Phoenix) they just discovered that they don’t accept my insurance. Everyone will tell you something different each time you go to one of their nasty places. They could’ve said that from the beginning, but it seemed that they’re making sure to mislead you and waste your time. Pure devil’s work
On December 13th I had blood drawn for one of my drs. The gentleman I had was fabulous & I told him if I needed blood draw.I would ask for him. His. Name Id Tim.
Not sure why but I am waiting to drop off. Isnt drop off by the nature of its name supposed to be a quick affair? I mean, it does take about 3 seconds for them to take a bag from you, so naturally, its best to make your customers wait. Terrible customer service and even worse system.
The young lady who drew my blood her name was Liz she was so nice and she had beautiful hair and she was so gentle because I have a really poopy veins and it was like goodness you can look really close at my arm and you can’t even tell she didn’t leave any mark at all and she was just really great experience I get poked all the time so yeah good place thanks
I was there last Wednesday and I it was full but the wait time wasent that long. But again what place dosent have a waiting time, even with an appointment. The staff in front are really nice and friendly. My phlebotomist was also very friendly. I will definitely will be going back at this place.
Went in on friday Had to wait til monday to get results (1-2 business days) just for them to tell me I needed to restest....
It is very close to where I live and I have always received very good service. The best way it toake an appointment. If you just walk-in, well that means, to me, you are willing to wait your turn..
I advice not to go there, we went for health screening that the company we work pays, they messed up the results. I got mine but my boyfriend just got his blood pressure and weight, when he asked they said it takes about three weeks, when mine was available next monday! on top of that, he wrote a review and they LIED in their answer saying that if he sent an email he will get his results, well it turns out that in the email they just answered that they are uncapable to help and ask him to direct the issue with the company, I ask WHY DID I GET MINE AND HE DID NOT GET HIS?????. YOU people not only lost his result but also dont want to help to find it! LIARS, IRRESPONSIBLE, NEGLIGENT, DONT GO TO THAT PLACEThis company is the worst, they made us come back so my boyfriend could get his health screening again because the mediocre incompetents personnel working there lost his blood the first time we went. We basically wasted a Saturday morning doing this, it was three weeks ago and NO RESULTS yet, Are you Kidding??? what is going on, we just want the health screening which by the way it was paid in advance by our company. We want the results NOW or we going to SUE you!!
Despite a room full of patients waiting calmly and patiently. This place is running 30+ minutes late and Alicia at the front desk is incredibly rude and demeaning. She ought to be replaced.
Self check in machine didnt work. Staff up front looked overwhelmed so you have to make sure everything is done correctly. My appointment was at 10am and I didnt get called till 11!
I’ve been extremely scared to get my blood drawn lately because at my doctors they have not been able to find my veins but the lady at this place found my vein and got my blood within 5 minutes. I most definitely will be going to Sonora Quest Laboratories from now on.
We had an apt at a different Sonora quest location, when we arrived it was locked up. We called this location and they got us right in. Everyone was helpful the whole facility had an upbeat positive attitude.
Nice staff, but very long wait times. Arrived 10min prior to appointment time to check in and wasn’t seen til over an hour later. Doesn’t make sense during covid especially.
Did not have an appointment booked for a biometric screening this morning and expected to wait for an hour. Was pleasantly surprised by the extremely helpful and friendly staff who got me taken care of quickly. Thanks!
This is a split really. The desk people are rude as all get out. But the ones who draw blood are greatso 2 star for the deskand 4 for the phebotomists
What’s the point of having an appointment if they don’t take you at or near that appointment time. Absolutely terrible establishment.
Best blood draw ever. Very professional and compassionate people work at this location. Thank you Sonora Quest for your fantastic customer service.
Always a great experience. Love all the lab tecs … keep up the good work . Front office people are great to.
If you’re doing a self test they don’t take insurance! You have to pay up front for everything. If my employer was requiring these tests why wouldn’t they pay for it ? What’s the point of insurance at this point?
I was very satisfied with this office. Very friendly, professional and patient after me not having everything I was suppose to bring when I arrived. She still did everything to help me and not have to come back with the things she was asking for. Oops.
Been here twice. Awesome staff, pleasant & helpful. Nothing but positive things to say about this place.
I think this facility is clean and very accommodating. Whatever issues I have had have been resolved by the management. Some phlabotommist are just better at what they do than others if you are not satisfied with one ask for another. Thanks
I love working here also very clean with many friendly staff. Couldnt have asked for a nicer company to be apart of. 5stars is what I give,Thank you SQL
Been waiting 2 hours this is ridiculous. My son here to get blood work he has to fast and this place is taking its time hello lets not talk about what we are eating for lunch blood workers lets move these people out so my son can get his blood work done so my son can eat hello
An appointment is required but the office doesn’t ever run on time. Staff is friendly and clearly working hard but the practice of quadruple booking the same time slot needs to cease.
I called on 1/11/2019 at 1:50 pm, the person who answer the phone was unprofessional and very disrespectful. I will not go to that place. It shows the lowest value of that management. She needs to be move to cleaning position or send her back to where she come from. She is not qualified to work on customer service desk.
A bunch of scammers will run your insurance charge you an send you to collections all at the same time.. beware unless you want a headache ...
Got here as one of the first walk-ins of the day and was in and out in 30 minutes. Shannon drew my blood and I didn’t feel a thing, thank you!
My experience was great. However, I witnessed several of the office staff mock customers once they had gone back and/or left, and I found that to be really unprofessional.
Great service. Kim did a great job! She really knows how to treat your patients. Thank you Kim 😊
Was there for over an hour. There wasnt a lot of people when I arrived. They passed people that just got there faster than others.Just very slow service.
Consistently running way behind scheduled appointment times, yet somehow appointment only. Please hire more staff or reduce the number of appointments that happen all at once.
First time patient. Super smooth check-in and completely done less than 10 minutes after my appointment.
I always go to this location. There is a bit of a wait sometimes. But if you make an appt itll help with that. Overall nice and friendly staff.
Horrible front office staff, rude and inconsiderate. They make fasting patients wait for 2 hours, people who are diabetics, people with migraines and other medical conditions jeopardize by no food intake.Horrible!
Very kind and accommodating. Didnt have to wait long. Was very professional and careful when taking my blood. Thanks!
Not enforcing masks on patients in waiting room. Sitting in a waiting room way too long with someone unmasked during Covid.
Make an Appoitment /Great Staff. They know what they are doing and you are in and out. I have been here a few times and I have no complaints!!! Great Job you guys!!!!
Make an appointment for a certain hour check in then wait an hour to be called in for another hour to test. How convenient
Ive always had great service here. Its my go to lab. Best when youve scheduled an appointment.
Make sure you make an appointment. Very efficient and fast as long as other patients arent holding everyone else up. 👍👍👍
Horrible.Im pissed off because my insurance only accepts Sonora Quest and I drove all the way here on a Saturday and its not even Sonora Quest. Its Labcorp.
Always rude receptionists that are short and condescending. Despite always being on time, there are consistent delays.
Waited over 40 minutes for a sample drop off. Won’t be using them again. Will go to lab Corp right across the street.
Horribly long waits (even with an appointment) with no updates given by the staff. Also, theyre pretty rude.
Behind schedule on appointments and rude attendant. She looks just unhappy. I hope this lab uses sterile needles.
It been a good lab for me. The 3 years or more I have been going. Sometimes a little slow.
So petty to send someone to collection over 200 bucks and ruin their credit when you know they have cancer.. hope yall rott...
I was waiting Friday November 27th at this location early in the morning and they didnt open ........no way to find out if they were closed or open , didnt announced anywhere.
Went in for blood tests. Everybody was nice, the blood draw itself was quick, clean, and painless.
Why have appointments if you have to wait 45 minutes to be seen?
Whats the point of making a appointment? Waited over 15 minutes until being seen.
Quick work, clean facility, great staff. This is the only Sonora Quest Ill visit.
Opens at 8. Its 814 and 12 of us are standing outside. Customer Serve(less) !
The lady who draw my blood was very nasty and had a very nasty attitude.
The place is closed for construction but doesn’t say ANYTHING
This place is appointment only, yet minimum wait time is 45mins.
Pretty crowded, but otherwise efficient, brief delay, and professional.
Employees are rude and the wait is always too long
They are very nice and professional staff
2 hour wait. Enough said.
Friendly office staff.
Organized and pleasant people
Worst customer service I have experienced in a medical office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst
