Had an appointment scheduled for suture removal for almost a week now, received a confirmation text around 8am this morning, then another reminder text at 11:50 something only to show up for my 12:30 appt at 12:09 with locked doors. Complete lack of communication and no regards to anyone elses schedule.
AWFUL. Made appt the evening before for an 8am slot. I got there at 745 and the doors were open. I walked in to an empty lobby w/ no lights on and no one at the desk. I was confused and backed out and waited. I tried to call by the automated system just tells you they arent open until 8am. I waited outside, checked in online, completed any paperwork online....and then went back into the lobby at 8am It was still dark w/ no one there. I waited until 8:05AM and then went knocking on the partition between the office and the lobby. A guy pops up and says, Yes? I tell him its 8:05 and Ive been here since 745 and youre the first person to greet me. He responds that the front desk girl isnt here yet but that I can sign in online. I confirmed I had already done so and asked when the desk attendant would arrive and he said he didnt know. I walked out. I will NEVER use this place or recommend to anyone. What a waste of time! Unprofessional and seedy. If I could give ZERO stars I would.
Went here about two weeks ago. They told me that my soonercare was inactive, but I could go ahead and pay $125 in cash instead, or buy their medical card! Yay! Knew it wasnt true, logged into my soonercare, sure enough, it was still active, told the lady at the counter. She acted odd, told me to take a seat, I proceeded to wait another 30 minutes for her to call me back up, only to tell me that my soonercare only covers addiction and therapy absolute lie, Im fully covered. She tells me, again, I can buy their medical card or pay only $125 cash. Cancelled my appointment and left. Then they reported me to soonercare and had my account closed, which I was thankfully able to reopen due to false statements from the doctors. Never, and I mean NEVER bother coming here, unless you want to be lied to, have your insurance locked, and be sabotaged. Horrible staff, terrible excuse for medical professionals. Youre better off trying your luck at a hospital or doctors office where they will treat you like a patient and not a wallet. Its a crying shame that THIS is the place that took over the minor emergency clinic that used to be in this location. You guys lack empathy to the degree that it is baffling, and I honestly hope that nobody comes here, period. This is the reason so many people cant access medical care and are terrified of doctors. Do better.
Theyre very nice people sometimes it takes a while but they do help you
I went in yesterday and received excellent care. The PA told me that they were going to forward my visit paperwork to my PCP. Today I called my PCP office as I am still having severe symptoms. They hadn’t received my test results or visit details from Access. I called Access 4 times and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. One time I waited 13 minutes, the next 8 minutes, then I gave up. Do better. People’s health is on the line.
I went here after experiencing severe hip and lower back pain. My doctor wasn’t helpful and chiropractor missed diagnosed and neither seem to understand I was in pain. I went here and made appt online and met w Martin Robertson, NP. He was very helpful, nice and understanding. Everything you could possibly want from medical help. I felt better, reassured and X-rays were taken which better helped me understand. No complaints. Would definitely go here again. The first receptionist was very nice and helpful and the receptionist when I picked up my X-ray was not in the least.I had to go again recently for a sinus infection. I find the staff here very acccommodating. Making an appointment online is easy and efficient and you can check to see how busy they are and how many people are ahead of you. This center has actually been more helpful than my regular doctor. This time I saw Kevin Green, PA-C who was great and very helpful as well as Amer F. RMA Would recommend!!!!!
Would not recommend this place ever if you were trying to avoid a trip to the hospital, the doctor did not even want to see my husband told him he was sending him to the hospital and then refused to give him a doctors note after making him wait for over an hour. He had an upset stomach and was told he needed to go to the emergency room. When he stated he did not want to go to the emergency room, he was told he was not going to be given any of his medical records unless he went to the emergency room, completely defeating the entire purpose of going to this place. I would recommend literally any other urgent care. They truly don’t even care about their patients here.
I love the doctor there. Maybe it was just an off day and somebodys else will have a better experience.I had an appointment at 9:20 and 9:40Wasnt seen by the nurse for the screening until 945 the waited over an hour with two sick kids to be seen by the doctor.My appointment booked was at 9:20 and 9:40 one other person at the time was called ahead of me.I didnt leave until after 11:20...I spent two hours there today when I booked an appointment at 9:20. And waited over an hour to see the doctor. Just personally believe I shouldnt have had to wait that long.
Think twice if you go to this clinic without insurance, my son visited this clinic for a Tetanus shot and wsas charge $280.00 and even saw as doctor and the vacinned was not administer by a Dr.I call to ask was was the charge for this and was told $72.00, my son went to the clinic to get and explanation and was told that the manager was going to call him until today 08/01/23 which this happen like less than a week a go, nothing yet. This is the reason Im writing this review, gave them the chance to make it right and nothing. Good luck if you dare go here.
Easy and quick check-in process. Appointments are able to be made an hour in advance and you’re called back quickly. The doctor there is really nice and she got rid of my 2-day long vertigo in a simple exercise. Definitely recommend
This was my first visit and I will not be back. $562 for three stitches is highway robbery, especially since I didnt need a tetanus shot. Im sure that would have been another $200.It was very off-putting to be held up at check-in until I answered the question of whether I wanted to pay upfront for a year long membership for their services - which I hadnt even received yet,When I called the number on my invoice for billing questions (because my service appeared to be coded incorrectly for a larger wound size than actual) I waited on hold for 30 minutes just to be hung up on.Overall it was a pretty lame experience, but I cant say anything bad about the three stitches I was given. Mike stitched me up and he was perfectly pleasant and professional.
Friendly service is an absolute must when you’re not feeling well and the staff here is amazing! Truly! My second time here in about 4 years or so and they are still just as awesome as the first time, I chose this place because of a referral from a friend and he was not wrong. Anytime I need to see a health professional this is where I turn. You honestly feel the compassion so much you will leave feeling better from that alone. Can not recommend them enough. Thank you so much!!!
They are now doing in-clinic telehealth. Which basically means you sit in the waiting room and fill out the same form on your phone that you would for any telehealth appt. The only difference being they can run a flu and covid test on site.The revenue maximization techniques have gotten out of hand to not have a PA on site, and its not like its cheaper than it was when you saw an in-person PA either.Ive been coming to this location for a long time, but I wont be back unless theres a PA on site.
At first I was going to give 4 stars. I have health issues and am on a limited income. I like Dr Mansfield. Would see him again but not at this company. I developed a yeast infection from antibiotics he prescribed. I called thinking I would get their front desk. I was on hold 15 minutes only to be connected with a customer service line. I was told I would need to go in to receive a pill for the infection. It is icing outside and about 20°. So in order to get relief from something they prescribed I must pay another $30 and go out on the ice in freezing tempey. I wont go there again.
The staff, and the Dr. were great! they are all friendly and take their time with you.
Don’t come to this place if you would like urgent I had a appointment just a follow up should have been quick got checked in and sat in the room I have been waiting in the room for 30 mins while I hear people laughing in the lobby mind you it’s pretty empty in here so I do not feel like it should be that long of a wait
Visit at 11am was fine but it’s taken them 6 hours to fax the prescription to the pharmacist. I’ve called twice and ended up having to make a separate trip to pick up the paper prescription and take it to the pharmacist myself. What a joke, we’re all sick here trying to get relief and they’ve completely dropped the ball. Make sure to get your prescription on the way out since they’ll hold on to it for dear life.
Go to any other clinic or urgent care honestly, don’t waste your time like I did. The people don’t care and just look at you skeptically. You can tell them symptoms and even if you’re peeing blood they are still gonna ask if it’s covid !! I told them to test for UTI or anything even kidney stones, instead they just looked at me and said “yes there is blood you will have to go somewhere else, we will give u a referral.” In the past they have also lost my testing samples when I had a different disease. These people are not qualified unless it’s just a common cold or covid. They write awful scripts and prescriptions for just about anything from pain, to bacterial infections. More than once I have had to leave here and go somewhere else for more testing or they couldn’t help or I just felt like I wasn’t listened too or they didn’t resolve any of my issues. Take your chances, but if you like awful hospitality, bad customer service, nurses and doctors that don’t know what their doing, and blowing your money with no resolution then this is the place for you!
This place was awful when it was med express. Figured with new owners maybe it was better. But nope! Google says they open at 9am, but they open at 8am. Website clearly states that they take walk ins. Walked in and was told its appointment only. Its *Urgent* care. Why would I need an appointment for an urgent issue? At least make sure your website reflects your policies and your business hours are correct.
Paid up front and in full as I didn’t have insurance. Got ANOTHER bill in the mail for $310. Mind you, this was a virtual visit that was done while I was sitting in one of the rooms at the clinic. They said nothing about additional charges when I visited. Do NOT go here
I visited an hour or so before closing last night because my neck had become so painful and stiff that I could barely move it (chronic back problems). The receptionist, nurse, and doctor type person were so amazing with me. I was so nervous cause I’m younger and it’s hard to show invisible pain but they took me seriously and helped me so much. And everything was very clean and nice. They even gave me good suggestions for help for the future with my problem. Seriously grateful!
Dont plan your care around this facility. Made an appointment for 3:00 and got a message that they would be closing at 2:00. No wonder I never see any vehicles there. I wish another company would take that actually wants to operate. Bad business for those in need in this neighborhood.
Literally THE WORST!!!! I wish I had read the reviews first. Listen, go somewhere else and save yourself the stress! HORRIBLE AND RUDE STAFF. Look, you don’t know what people are going through these days. And people wonder why all these mass shootings happen in America. It cost nothing to be kind.
Went in 2 months ago and was told I couldn’t be seen because I owed $85 from a visit 2 years and I needed to pay that before I could be seen . I told the lady at the desk that wasn’t right because I’ve been getting seen at the one on Garnett multiple times since the date she provided.Then I told her that I would just go there and she said that none of the access medical urgent cares would see me till I paid the balance. Needless to say I drove right over to the one on Garnett they seen me the same day and when I asked if I had a balance with any of their locations and they said no. I’ve been seen at that urgent care two times since then. So if the tell you that you owe from years ago I would call another location and check before you pay them any money.

I paid $25 for my son to have a sports physical to be told he needs to go to his pediatrician, and they wouldnt refund my money.
They basically need 190 just to say hi and then after that they continue to charge more. I have a 103.5 fever and they wouldn’t see me because I don’t have the 190 , it’s really sad how all anyone cares about is money and not even health anymore.
So I went in there just a couple days due to back pain that Ive had for weeks all he did was lifted my leg and said that I had a hernia in my prescribed me some stuff and told me to leave I feel like there was way more that could have been done I am sick of all these doctors turning people away when theyre really needing help that being My chiropractor really does think that these people so wrong about not giving me an x-ray or anything like that in just assuming that was it
My husband received prompt, excellent care at this facility for his facial laceration. Was impressed with everything from check in to check out!
