Thank you for the care, kindness, and professionalism I experienced at the Inova-Go Urgent Care Tysons and at the Inova Vascular Center. Thank you for expediting my lab work for the potentially serious situation.I was very happy for the last 40 years, or more, with the Cleveland Clinic. Over the last 2 years, when I traveled extensively, I was hesitant to develop a new primary care organization and physician. After my experience with Inova, the performance of staff, lab, facility, and physicians made me confident that I can depend on the Inova system for the quality medical services that I consider essential. I am confident in my decision to make Inova my choice for primary care facility and doctors.
Thank you so much to the staff at this urgent care! Not only did I have a productive visit, but the staff was also incredibly respectful and kind. With their advice, a serious medical condition was able to be diagnosed and treated. Without their care, I would still be in so much pain. An amazing clinic and amazing staff!!
Awful experience at this location. Crystal the nurse instead of addressing me by my name she addressed me as “the sick one” that is highly unprofessional and disappointing coming from a nurse. When i asked her to please don’t be rough when she was testing she blamed instead of taking accountability that she was being too aggressive she blamed me that i was not being cooperating when she was the one hurting me.When it’s time to take me to the room instead of addressing me by my name she screams half way through the room if i was ready. That is not the way to treat a person.Highly disappointed
I really appreciated the care I received. The staff was not able to find the cause of my problem but they did some key tests, ruled some things out, and did what they could. Every person we dealt with during a long night was very nice and professional.
Today I was there due to my dizziness. The staff was very kind, service was professional and wait time was pretty short. The medical assistant Mushfig and the provider Kendra checked me comprehensively and my medical examination was in high quality. I got valuable advices from Kendra and after medical examination I felt myself better and very satisfied. Id like to recommend this clinic to all. Everyone can go there with great pleasure. Trusted and professional team and high quality service. Keep it up every time!
The medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plan experience was excellent. All personnel, from the receptionist to the physician’s assistant that met with me were professional and understanding. The facility was attractive and well maintained. The only aspect that I would want to see different is the communication of expected wait. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment but waited an addition 45 minutes before being seen.
Dr. Cha was extremely professional and friendly. She took time to examine and explain the treatments she decided thats better for me. Her medical assistant was very helpful. Receptionist was polite. Waiting area was spacious and comfortable.
Sheila Soleimani was exceptionally gracious to me on my two separate, recent visits. She is an excellent nurse practitioner - professional and kind, with an attentiveness to patients that I have not seen since decades ago. Very pleased with the staff at the Tysons location.
I visited the inova Ugent Care at Tysons on the 1st of July. The waiting time is very little or no time. The male nurse who took my vitals was kind and patient. The medical team at the Center, they are very kind, especially Jocelyn and Nash. I met Dr. Shila on my first visit. She was very thorough and professional. Her medical expertise got me better. She deserves a reward. Thank you Dr. Shila 🙏
Good facility but it’s one of those places which are pure businesses. They hire low cost staffs / docs / nurses here who are apparently newbies and don’t know what they are doing. We only came here because it was Memorial Day and most clinics were closed. Even the CVS minute clinic might be better than this. Save yourself $ and even life, and go somewhere else!
Great patient centric/customer service by Nurse Practicioner Soleimani. Exceptional follow-up too. This is one urgent care I can easily recommend because of her.
Shila Soleimani, FNP, is a true beacon of light in healthcare. Her exceptional care, unwavering support, deep compassion, and genuine understanding went above and beyond anything Ive ever encountered. Even on a difficult day at Urgent Care, her presence instantly made things better. Thank you, Shila, for your extraordinary dedication to your patients well-being. Dr.Soleimani likely saved my life.YOU. ARE. A. GEM!
Did not enjoy my experience at this urgent care! I was asked what brought me in and as I started to provide the history of what brought me in, I was told to stop because “I need to be more direct and simple since I have to type it in.” Then, I could barely get a word in before I was stopped again and told what brought me in, which was incorrect. I was diagnosed and told a list of medications I would need before any examination. A test was run that I showed zero symptoms for. My online record was updated and when I viewed it, it said I came in for something I didn’t and said I was told what to watch for to determine if I need to come back, which was never discussed with me. The notes taken by the provider during my “exam” were done on a paper towel pulled out of the dispenser. I left feeling like no one cared for me and that I was a burden because the person who checked me in had to get up and off their phone to look for something I requested.
They sent the quantity of pills incomplete to the pharmacy, had to go there again to talk to them. They prescribed antibiotics for something they thought I have and then called me and tell me I never needed the medicine.
Terrible experience. Tech took blood and bruised me up bad. The blood was taken 15 days ago and they haven’t given me any results and have not returned 2 phone calls. They misdiagnosed me and charged more than my PCP. They have already billed my insurance for all of this yet haven’t even provided any results or updates. SHAME ON YOU INOVA, unacceptable
FNP Megan was very knowledgeable and wonderful to deal with! You can tell she truly cares about her patients.
I had a virtual appointment within 2 hours, saw an excellent provider & had medication by the afternoon. Couldnt ask for better treatment.
Took me in within 15 minutes of my appointment time and had me describe my symptoms. Gave me rapid tests for flu, COVID and strep. All negative. NP examined me and prescribed Rx for pain and coughing and recommended 12-hour Mucinex and salt water gargling.
I walked in without waiting a single minutes 10 minutes to close and was served immediately by the front office staff and the nurses. Their kindness and proficiency made me feel better about my emergency, and the nurse practitioner was highly knowledgable and gentle while being empathetic. As a tourist visiting from Canada, I was astounded by how quickly and efficiently everything was handled. I definitely wanna move here. Thank you so much to the wonderful friendly staff.
I was diagnosed and treated by Dr Shula Soleimani and hv successfully recovered completely.Tku very muchKarun Khanna
The doctor and her assistant were helping me with the diagnosis and prescription. Thank you so much.
Staff was professional, inspired confidence, friendly and I was no wait time.
The staff is very kind, but don’t go here if you are sick and want to get better.I came in after being ill for over a week. They tested for strep, the flu, and Covid. After those came back negative, they said I probably just have the common cold and there is nothing they could do.Not only is that not true (there is medicine that can be prescribed), I went to another doctor after it didn’t get better and it turns out I had bronchitis. My wife has had a similar experience where they failed to diagnose her with a UTI while pregnant, though another doctor did and treated her for it.
Very good Very good patient handling and experience in dealing with the patients psychological state
Great urgent care. I’ve rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes.
Very fast service when I walked in. Excellent care by open provider. Very clear directions. Highly recommended over patient first.
The staff was truly amazing. I felt like they truly cared and my doctor was superb.
Wonderful staff from front desk to nurse to NP. So thoughtful, good natured and engaged. Put my 7 yr old at ease. I go to Tysons urgent care now as it is run just well, great, clean
Everyone was very professional and I was seen quickly. Treatment I received was effective and I’m significantly improved.
They were able to take care of me promptly and followed up with lab results and proper treatment .
I was disappointed with the long waiting time at the clinic, especially when there was only one person ahead of me. Waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes to see a doctor is unacceptable and inconvenient. This experience negatively impacted my perception of the service.
The staff and provider have been very kind and professional. I was very happy about their services. Thanks again.
Excellent customer attention, care, and expediency. The staff was very helpful and professional and all around a great experience!
Short wait, pleasant atmosphere, accurate diagnosis and spot on remedial directions.
I was suffering from a sinus infection and the help here were just that…helpful. The staff was kind and the doctor was understanding and had a good sense of humor (which goes a long way, in my opinion).
Do not recommend going since they wont even be open, I made an appointment online and filled out all the paperwork prior to visit and they werent even open when I showed up in person. If youre not going to be open, update your time and close your appointment portal so people know youre closed.
Went into urgent care because I couldn’t get an appointment with my primary care physician. The care was anything but urgent.1)Being a patient that has a history of systemic infections2)Being a patient with a compromised immune systemI overheard my symptoms described as psychosomatic and was refused antibiotics after being told I was being prescribed them. Even though, I was previously diagnosed with an infection. I am a person with limited access and I finally found my way there to have my hopes of help and relief shut down. If you need help, abandon this place and go to the emergency room. Especially if you are a woman.
Scheduled a virtual visit since I tested positive for covid + symptoms. I joined the session 5 mins before start time, waited for 40 minutes and a provider never joined. When i checked my MyChart account it said the appointment was finished? Odd, because I never spoke to anyone.
Caring staff; thorough examination; accurate diagnosis and treatment, confirmed by my Opthamologist.
Very positive experience. Dr. Shila Soleimani expressed genuine interest in me and spent time to understand my situation.
Waited this morning by the door from 8:00am until 8:15 am and the door was locked. Two employees were hiding in the back. Im sure they saw me waiting outside and did nothing. Unacceptable, will never go back to that location. Had to drive to the one on Maple St. to get service.
The staff were super nice and patient with me. They gave me step by step updates on wait times and the reasons which was nice. and the office was nice.
This location couldn’t figure out how to charge insurance for a visit, and tried to make me pay a self pay option instead of learning how to bill insurance. Unknowledgeable front desk staff
Very bad service.Called at 9 AM for a followup question. After almost the whole day , we received a call at 6 PM saying the provider is very busy and cannot call us today and we will have to call again the next day. Very disappointing. Even more so because it is an Inova center which is supposed to be of repute and trust worthy.
I was shuttled from the Vienna Inova facility to the Tysons unit because of long waits for driver physicals at the Vienna store. First, I greatly appreciated the sensitivity of the Vienna staff in acknowledging the long waits and reacting proactively trying to get me served. As luck would have it the Tysons unit was empty. I must say that my experience there, from start to finish was nothing less than an absolute delight. Everyone (from receptionist to tech to nurse to doctor) was polite, professional, warm, inviting and industrious. It was a lovely facility (quite new I think) and was clean, bright, and appealing. Honestly I cannot say enough about how pleasant and enjoyable it was. I will send all our drivers there going forward and would recommend it very highly...the downside being theyll get popular and busy too - but if they handle increased business with the aplomb and professionalism they showed me today, they have nothing to worry about.
They were closed with no reason. No sign on doors no recorded message on their phone lines when we called. Just closed during their posted operating hours. Major disappointment since we wanted to affiliate with the INOVA hospital system which is otherwise great. Not Inova Go.
Great care and attention from all staff. Very highly recommended!
Came in with a sore throat and was never tested for strep. They said I had allergies. Went to a different urgent care and it was strep.
The receptionist just hung up on me and will not pick up the phone again. I called and asked if I could go there to get a rapid covid test for my toddler. My toddler was with me and talking when the receptionist said something about a visit and a referral from the physician. I misunderstood and asked calmly, am I going to have to wait until Monday, because his pediatricians office is closed. She changed her tone and somewhat rudely said thats not what I said, what I said was... and continued to use an annoyed, condescending tone with me as she slowly explained everything. I said ok...but I have my child with me at the moment and just couldnt hear...your tone isnt helping me right now. She sighed and said have a good day, bye and hung up. I tried calling again but she wont pick up the phone. The last thing I need after a night of a toddler with a fever and vomiting is to have a health care receptionist treat me like that, so Ill go elsewhere.
I arrived about 15 minutes before my scheduled time. You have to fill out a few pieces of paperwork, but everyone was on time and rather friendly. The physician on call seemed to know her stuff, which is always good. Its hard to find good doctors around here.
Very thoughtful staff, thorough, responsive, reassuring. My daughter hurt her wrist; they patiently talked her through telling them where it hurt and what actions increased pain, then took two sets of x-rays; when they found no broken bones, they set her up with a splint and made sure we knew how long she should wear it and what to expect. Dr. Joseph was excellent.
The staff were Very kind and polite and help me to get a fast fast virtual appointment to discus my problem with my doctor . I am very happy
I saw the same doctor two separate visits. Her bedside manners were horrid. First time I had Influenza A...I knew that I had something worse than the common cold. She acted as if I were faking because I was not running a fever. After further testing I indeed had influenza A. The second visit was even worse. It took a full week to get tests back which indicated I needed antibiotics.I would recommend you finding another urgent care.
I went to the Tysons INOVA Urgent care today. Ive been scared to go to an urgent care during the pandemic because what if I get germs just from the waiting room? They did triage over the phone while I was in my car and then brought me inside to run the tests I needed. They gave me a lot of follow-up care instructions and spent as much time with me as I needed. The staff were very nice and understanding. I would definitely go here again.
Staffs here are very professional, very efficient, very clean facility. Carla at the desk was very accommodating and assured me they will take care of me - they did! No wait time at all or I was just lucky that day. Tanni the rad. tech. checked on me several times, even asked me if I felt cold, gave very clear instructions. Dr. Roy is excellent, he listens, doesnt hurry unlike other doctors. Everything you hoped an URGENT care should be. Thank you guys!!!
My son had a great experience at the pediatric urgent care here--it really felt like the PA and nurse who worked with him cared about helping him. They successfully figured out what was causing his symptoms and gave us specific directions to follow. I was very impressed.
When I reached here today, only 1 person was in queue before me. It took around 45-50 mins to get admitted to exam room for checkup. After initial screenings by a nurse, had to wait for another 30 mins! Ultimately when I met with provider, seems she was in real hurry. Will try to avoid this urgent care in future.
First of all, I was surprised Inova Urgent Care – Tysons was opened on Mother’s day Sunday. It was awesome that I could reserve a spot in their web site on my cell phone. They kept me informed by texting me whether the appointment was on schedule or not to reduce any wait time. It was more important that the doctor and staff helped me resolve my issue. I was having vertigo and dizziness. My mom had fatal brainstem stroke after she battled with vertigo and dizziness for two weeks. Before the doctor sent me to ER, she examined me and discovered that there were a lot of ear wax in my both ears, which may cause dizziness. After my ear wax was removed, the dizziness has been mostly gone. The doctor prescribed me the antibiotic to cure possible ear infection. I am feeling much better now and I really appreciate Inova Urgent Care – Tysons’ help.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I spent two hours waiting for an x-ray, most of it spent waiting in a procedure room. At the end, they gave me a support shoe with a sole so slippery I nearly fell twice in the first thirty seconds.Suggestions: hire more people, communicate better, dont wax your floors.
We brought my 7 yo that was complaining about a “burning” sensation in her eye. We were seen within 15 minutes of arriving and finishing paper work. This is our second visit here. First time was fine, not super noteworthy (staples in my same child’s head, stapler misfired the first time). But this visit we were seen by Sarah Zgainer the NP and she was amazing! My daughter was scared and Sarah made her very comfortable all the while explaining everything she was doing in a way that both of us could understand. Turns out my daughter had a corneal abrasion. Not a huge deal, thank goodness, but I would highly recommend going here especially if Sarah is the one that will see you. I can’t say enough positive things about her bedside manner, communication and medical knowledge. Thank you Sarah!!!
I took my 5 yr old child to be seen for an ankle injury and was told by the receptionist that it was a hour wait. I looked around and said there was only one person in the waiting room. She said the back was full. The parking lot was near empty as well. She said online appointments are taken before in-person ones. If you have time to schedule an appointment, your medical problem is not urgent. My child has a legitimate medical concern and was told to wait. This treatment is ridiculous and unprofessional. My experiences with Inova have been negative.
When I walked in, I was told that the wait would be about 30 minutes. Instead I waited for 2 hours before being admitted to an exam room and then another 40 minutes before the doctor finally came in.You pay ahead of time so you arent able to easily leave. The cost for a visit is $195 as a co-pay that isnt billed to insurance
Stopped by here last nite after learning the Vienna location had a 96 min wait. This one had none, but because the facility itself was so new, there was some holdup in getting my insurance info entered into the system. Regardless, the nurse was quick and so was the doctor. Got the prescription I needed and rolled off to CVS. In and out within an hour.
Visited INOVA/Tysons on Jan.17th, 2020 at 10Am with a horrible two-day unrelenting headache. I received excellent care. Had to wait for only 7 mins after filling up the needed forms. The nurse (unfortunately did not get her name) was excellent: great bed side manners, kind, and thorough. Was examined by Dr. Maria Akhtar, who was very diligent, empathetic, caring, thorough and very informative. Definitely recommended.
I was there for a few minutes just now to try to get a Covid test for my cold symptoms. The front desk person was being super shady and rude. I give my insurance and ID and they gave a very round about answer on whether they do Covid testing. Then they ask if I was employed in healthcare which… I have never had that question before and it’s irrelevant. The kicker was they tried to charge me at check in. Per federal law Covid testing and evaluation are free so I left before they finished check In because I wasn’t about to get scammed.
The worst staff and doctor. Insesitive people. They show no empathy toward pt in need of urgent care. Whats worse is that they would force you to wait in the waiting area when you ask if you ould wait in your car. Arent we still in the middle of pandemic? I am a healthcare provider who owns a clinic, and I learned today what a clnic shouldnt be.
If youre looking for pediatric care, call ahead and make sure there is a pediatrician on staff that day. Otherwise theyll let you make an appointment, wait in the lobby, and then tell you that they cant treat your kid because they are not a pediatrician. Disgraceful. Why didnt they just say no, my 2yo couldnt be seen!? We wasted 2 hours of our lives and $$$ on the deductible and copay only to have to go elsewhere.
Had to wait for an hour despite getting in ahead of two guys. This place has no respect for your time. Even the medic lied to me that the nurse is treating a laceration. You would be seen by a practicing physician/nurse for three times the money compared to the other urgent care nearby, this place is for you to get robbed. I was charged the most ever by an urgent care on my insurance plan. Never again. My friends told me the same story about other INOVA urgent care but noone cares because people are gonna fall sick and have to come. Also, they only reply to 5 star reviews!
Just in general, Ive head a very poor experience with Inova since moving to NOVA, compared to the MCV and Bons Secours hospital systems in Richmond. The main issue with this Tysons Covid testing center, is the wait for your test is over TWICE as long as any of the other NON-Inova testing centers in the area. Georgetown hospital has a 3 day turn around l, and Im still waiting for results on day 8 from this facility. If you call to ask for results, they basically send your call to any phone thats not the correct one, like they dont want to help you. Avoid getting tested here at all cost if you want your test back in a timeframe that is useful.
I interacted with three: front desk, nurse, and doctor: each were professional and caring. I accidentally coughed on the nurse when she was testing my throat, but she did not fuss. The doctor was kind and concerned. Thank you!!
Walked in to check an infection on my finger. I was seen within 30 minutes. They quickly drained the finger, bandaged it up and provided a prescription. They were nice, easy and quick!
Im typimg this with my one good hand to say that the doctor and nurse who took care of me today were skilled and compassionate. My hand looked like a textbook case of a broken hand, but careful study of the xrays revealed no visible fracture. The nurse did a great job of splinting my hand with no additional pain, and they got me in and out and able to go back to work!
Dr. Ahktar is awesome. I had an appointment with her recently and she spent almost 30 minutes with me. Very thorough, intelligent and answered every question with care. Will definitely recommend her and will visit her again if I have another health need!
Ended up needed to come in 15 minutes before closing and the staff was wonderful. Got me in and assessed quickly and called ahead to the ER so that check in was easier. Dr. Akhtar was really wonderful.
Was able to be seen in a timely manner, within 5 minutes of my appointment reservation. In and out in about 30 minutes. Staff was friendly, nice facilities, will go back if services are needed.
Excellent experience, would visit again. It is the best urgent care that I have found so far.
I’m not a fan. Yes I should no my body but I also believe you go to the dr to see what’s wrong. Not to diagnose yourself. Her attitude towards me not knowing the answers was unacceptable. Maybe I wanted her to give me the answers? And treat me like a patient.
Long wait with only a few patients. It took over 1.5 hours to be seen and only 2 people in front of me. Other times we have been here on busy weekends and they were much faster.
The NP was lovely. Attentive. Kind. Thorough.
I’ve been here for 3 hrs. The nurse won’t listen to me. The doctor kept interrupting me even though I was trying to tell her about what medicines work and don’t work since I’ve dealt with having chronic bronchitis. Don’t come here.
They gave me the wrong diagnostic and wrong treatment. After 5 days of antibiotics I was worse, went to tell them to fix it. Instead they wanted me to do another visit (pay again and wait 1+ hours). Will never use their services again.
Terrible front desk person the guy there on November 4th very rude and disrespectful would ignore what I said and repeated him self like I didn’t hear him 3 times personally people with nasty attitude can just go to to work and pretend to work isn’t professional isn’t a healthcare pleasant thing to feel in the morning
Said they would call me back to schedule a covid test, never did. Called the front desk at the end of the day, was rudely told to wait for them to call me back... even though it was the end of the day. They said they were overwhelmed, so in my opinion they shouldnt be accepting new patients, or tell me theyll call back to schedule in a few days, not by the end of the day.
This is my go-to urgent care center. The care providers are great, and everything works efficiently. They have an online checkin system, but it doesn’t always work.
Worthless nurse and doctor. They always end up referring out to ER. Miss diagnosed my kid and my symptoms twice for very simple issues! Don’t waste your time!
No wait time, competent, friendly staff, clean, modern facility. Took lab sample on site, saving trip to outside lab. Better then going to primary care doctor!!
Great service, kind staff and doctors. Fast. Overall,a very pleasant experience. And I visited with a sick 6 month old.
The front desk staff was nice but wait was 1.5 hrs as the only patient and they charged $190 for a quick 10 minute question to the doctor. AVOID!
An unpleasant experience from start to finish. If you want rude and impersonal service while also paying triple what is reasonable this is the place to go!
It is a fantastic place. Everything worked out just great. My daughter was seen by a very able doctor very soon and she was extremely nice.
Great experience, fantastic front office. I would recommend. Thank you team!
I came in for my DOT physical. The staff was great and they had me in and out in a respectable time. Thanks for such an awesome service.
Horrible experience. Came first thing in the morning and still had to wait 45 minutes. Spent about another hour in the office and was MISDIAGNOSED with a broken bone. Total waste of time and unnecessary stress.
Friendly front desk staff, and the office is clean and efficient. Nurses and doctors are kind, patient and willing to listen.
Just here for my sons back to school physical. Professional staff, thorough and kind. Would recommend and come again if need be.
Why hang up on patients? I understand you’re in a rush but I had one more question. Didn’t even say by. Surprised at inova!!!
Last time I was in there after being up for 28hrs working ambulance I didnt move fast enough for the receptionist so she decided it was ok to snap her fingers at me.Rude, lazy.
The doctors and staff are insanely nice. I will go here a thousand times because the experience was so ideal.
Terrible customer service. The lady at the front desk was very rude and unsupportive! Will never go here again.
It doesn’t feel its urgent care, took an hour to get into and then still am sitting waiting for a doctor, been an hr already!
After a two hours long wait we saw the Adult physician leave the clinic. And it’s not even 4 pm yet. This is outrageous.
My son visit was awful the waiting in room was more one hour with out the doctor. It is really badThank
Terrible experience, long lines and misleading information about when I could be seen. Took my co-pay right away but made me wait hours to be seen. Go somewhere else.
Great pediatric services and wonderful bedside manner that put our kids at ease.
Everyone was so courteous, respectful and helpful. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Awesome staff!
Very bad service, when I came first time for test they told me it will take 5-10 minutes but it took 1 hour , second time again I lost 1 hour , 0 service
Really great service and staff. Lovely help and waiting rooms.
Friendly and highly professional staff.
I’m in town from out of town; stop in here and they can’t see adults until the next day- agh!
Great modern facility, no wait time, fast service.
They didnt know how to pick up a phone. Literally called 5 times. No one answered.
What is the use of having contact number if no one answers, tried to chat on line, nothing, left message to phone back nothing
I appreciate your professionalism.
Nice
Wait can be long.
Very quick...
If you want to maintain your health, avoid this place as far as possible. I came here during my trip to the USA. Doctor Suleimani could not detect that I had bronchitis and prescribed a completely incorrect course of treatment. As a result, I suffered enormous suffering. I didn’t sleep for three days, not even a minute, from coughing. It was only when I returned to Europe and turned to doctors that they took a picture of my lungs and changed the treatment.I am sure that the doctor either does not have sufficient knowledge or is doing harm deliberately. In any case, I do not advise anyone to come here for help. If I lived in the US, I would sue. This is an egregious incident from my life.
