Theyre very nice people, but the system is impossible to navigate. Ive been calling them for hours trying to get a refill on my prescription to no avail. Ive tried to set up a web portal, but it consistently says Im not in the system. Ive asked the receptionist for help when Ive gone in, and they want me to just call IT but they dont take calls from patients. Id highly recommend you go somewhere else
While I have previously had good experiences here, today was a disaster. I had a non-life-threatening but nevertheless urgent medical issue for which I had scheduled an appointment at 11 a.m. When I arrived at 10:30, I was told that I had been mistakenly scheduled for an appointment that did not exist (?!?!?!) and someone should have contacted me. No one did, and there were no other appointments available today. Now, not only am I going to have to spend god-knows-how-long at an emergency room today, but the domino effect on my work and living situations -- not to mention my personal life -- is going to create massive problems for me. This level of incompetence -- especially in the medical field -- truly boggles the mind.
At this location if you call to get service customer they pick the phone and put the call in hold for over 45 minutes just to get attended without outstanding nice customer service. People who works there are rude and with the worse customer service.
Bask in the serenity of being cared for in a way that is nothing shorter.where you dont just become a guest, you become family. Thanks for the support and great job
I have to say, I am so sad to be writing this review. I love my doc & Whitman Walker but someone has to say something. I went in this afternoon for an appointment I’ve been waiting a month for just to be met with “oh your doctor isn’t here today, she rescheduled your appointment” (she did not) “you got a text or call about it” (I did not). I was told that they had a note on my account saying I answered the phone and rescheduled (I did not, I had rescheduled my last appointment to today a month ago) and told me I’d have to wait another month to be seen at my preferred location. I’m lucky I’m in a position where it’s alright to wait that long, others might not be.
Before I can tell you about my not so nice trips to this establishment .. can someone please tell me what exactly does an insurance navigator do ? Do I have to have a dc id for that insurance navigator to try an enroll me in Medicaid ? And what is Ryan white ?Im homeless I new to dc .. struggling to get an id .. and birth certificate .. and Im poz
I have been coming here since 2018 and have always had a really great experience, though I should say I have only ever used their services for routine check-ups and daily medication related needs. The staff at the pharmacy have always been wonderful as well, but getting prescriptions filled there can be a pain (issues with pick-up/delivery, insurance claims, prescriptions being ready) so I use a difference pharmacy closer to where I live.
The bureaucracy of trying to reach their billing department has been getting worse in recent years. They did occasionally forget to apply the Sliding Fee Scale to my bill, but in the past they were at least quick to fix it. These days they never return the voicemails (let alone pick up - they never pick up), and even when they themselves send Help? emails that ask you if you have an issue with your bill, they leave your response to that email unanswered. Only almost a month later, when my dental appointment was coming up and their billing team received a kick from their dental team, they finally reached out to me, and it transpired that my SFS expired and has to be updated. But instead of simply renewing my SFS they gave me the runaround of trying to apply for Medicaid first (due to becoming a DC resident), even though I tried to explain to them that it may have negative consequences for my immigration status. When I came in in person, the public benefits person was nice and genuinely tried to help me, so he called their legal team and the legal specialist confirmed that receiving Medicaid will look bad if I ever need to pass a public charge test. But when I later noticed that what their legal specialist said seems to contradict some of the things in articles that my immigration attorney sent to me, and I tried to clarify that by calling them myself, their legal team refused to speak to me because I have an attorney. I tried to make Medicaid work just like you asked me, but if you guys dont want to save your own money, fine, now Im able to say that your legal team left me no option but to be on SFS. No difference to me.Ultimately I was unable to renew my SFS that day (to be fair, for no fault on WW part), and had to cancel the appointment I had later than day as well as next week. But even though the front desk assured me that my appointments will be cancelled, this was never done, and I kept receiving texts that I missed my appointment, and when I called I confirmed that neither appointment was cancelled. To make up for a cancelled appointment, I tried to schedule STI testing with their free STI clinic on the second floor. They also almost never pick up, but at least they return voicemails. But their availability has much to be desired, often the only option is next week, so if you need more urgent testing, youll have better luck with other STI clinics like Us helping us. I was pleasantly surprised how little bureaucracy and barriers to reach actual people that clinic has compared to Whitman-Walker. Will be using that clinic for STI testing from now on.Whitman-Walker is okay for what it is, its an affordable clinic. But I found them to be increasingly difficult to deal with because of the disorganization and the growing bureaucracy, and will try to minimize using their services in the future.
I can never get ahold of anyone who can help me there. Theres clearly no communication among the staff here, and anytime I call to get prescriptions fixed it always goes to voice-mail no matter what time of day. On top of it theyve forced me off my meds for half a year just because I couldnt make one appointment, and kept pushing the rescheduled one for months without giving me a little bit of my life saving medication to get me by causing me to suffer greatly. There are better places then this that wont leave you wondering if theyre actually gonna do their job right
This place has been my health care provider for four years now. I receive all of my health needs here, which very convenient. Everyone from the doctors to the folks handling check ins and appointments to the pharmacist and dentist are very knowledgeable, passionate, and kind. Its nice to have a centrally located place for all of my health needs. The public benefits department is excellent at helping you obtain insurance and even social programs to help you pay for that insurance. Ive always had a wonderful experience and have come to know and respect the people who work here. A bonus note. I love how inclusive this establishment is at making sure that those who are marginalized are seen and represented and treated with love and respect.
Rating just the clinicians would be the full five stars. They know what they are doing and will go above and beyond for their patients. I have to ding them a star though on their IT and service. Ive been double booked before, and paying my bills nearly always requires calling to talk to a person, as the online tools seem basically broken. Too bad because otherwise its great.
It’s been a while since I’ve came back to this clinic. Had a appt at 1030am I was checked in on the wrong floor 5th floor had to be on the 3rd floor. Then after my meds were not sent downstairs. Had to come back to find this out a hr later that the doctor didn’t send it I left pissed not planning on coming back
Update: still terribleAwful via phone. Just show up there, cause you cant expect being helped otherwise. Making an appointment is unnecessarily complicated.Update: this place is total garbage. Dont waste your time.
Been going here for over a year and always found they do their best to care for not just their patients but their communities at large. I wanna commend the team from Jeffrey and Alex at the community clinic to Tim Claus my provider. 10/10 will recommend.
They have very good doctors that are genuinely concerned about your care. However, the current established communication protocol between patients attempting to reach physicians, the Call Center, & the physicians designated Medical Assistants is in dire need of restructuring. Communication doesnt occur in either a timely, smooth, or effective & complete fashion.
Had 3 appointments canceled on me and no one told me. Went to the office which is over 2 hrs away btw. Arrived early to be told someone else had been scheduled. There wasnt anyone else there that talked to the same person. Next time went and was told the appointment had been canceled because the Dr wasnt available? (Mind you I have been very flexible so far) they should ask the Dr when he is available instead of me. Scheduled us for two days after for them to text us the day before (first time was told without having to drive two hours away and right back) that the Dr had canceled. Get your schedule in place before telling people that you are available the same days in a week!!!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!
Ive been calling for over a week trying to get my prescription refilled, but the doctor in charge of authorizing my prescription hasnt responded to the pharmacys repeated requests to fill my order. Im out of meds, and they still cant get ahold of any doctor there to authorize a refill. And good luck scheduling an appointment; half their staff are ratchet and rude (there was a nurse there who was horrible to other staff and patients and they kept her forever), and the other half who were actually kind and caring quit because of how ratchet and unprofessional the staff are; including a friend of mine who got fed up with how ratchet, aggressive, unprofessional and uncaring the staff are towards patients.
Over the past year or so attempting to work with WW has been actively worse than not receiving treatment at all, as Ive wasted large amounts of time thinking I could make progress on something there only to find that I cannot contact anyone for even basic administrative things like getting needed prescriptions refilled. This time could have been better spent finding somewhere that actually provides care. Really sad to see such an important institution fall to pieces like thisEDIT: The good news is WW seems willing to respond after poor public reviews, the bad news is doctors feel its completely appropriate to condescend and insult when they do. Deeply saddening but not at all surprising in this environment.
The level of care I have received here has been overall quite good. Ive liked all of the doctors and nurses here Ive had interactions with. However, the administrative or office staff is quite poor in what they do.Whenever I make a phone call and have to leave a voicemail I rarely receive a response back. When I do talk to someone they speak so quietly I can barely understand what theyre saying, and often times theyre simply rude.Once I canceled an appointment with someone over the phone and was told I would hear back from someone in a few days to reschedule it. Two weeks go by, I call back, and Im told that the original appointment hasnt even been canceled.Their whole system for making appointments honestly sucks, the people who work at the desks are very unresponsive and cold, and overall its just not the best experience.
I tried to harm myself a year ago over a health condition their staff chose to ignore for over a year despite my constant pleading for help. I still have no idea what is wrong with me and still get treated like its not a serious matter even though I cant even work anymore or socialize with other people. My life is ruined as a result with little hope of recovery.I will never trust another physician of any kind for the rest of my life.
Impossible to make an appointment!1) you are going to be on hold for at least 45 min2) if you call closer to closing time they would hangup the phone on you to avoid taking the call.3) there is absolutely no way to schedule an appointment online. So you have to call which they dont answer.I dont like to leave bad review. However this horrible scheduling service has been going on before covid. Please WW address this issue immediately. Hire an answering service. Hire more people. Affor only scheduling. I hate to find a different provider. I already started to get my prep from DC health and wellness who are WONDERFUL in making appointments and taking care of appointments.
My issue is with the pharmacy. It is so slow. I dont know why they have 4 stations but always have 2 staff members.11/2017 and its another slow day at the pharmacy. Its now 1/4/17 and Im still annoyed by this place. When you call, the people who answer the phone seems like they dont wanna talk. I also hate how when you see your doctor and have the next appointment in 3 months, they dont let you make the appointment, you have to wait until the 3 months to get notified, when you get the time to call to make that appointment, your doctor appointment schedule is FULL and you have to now wait another month before you can see your doctor. And as a prep patient I am required to see the doctor every 3 months, oh well. And if you miss that appointment you are just gonna wait another month to see the doctor because his schedule is always full. I just cant.9/10/18 was at Howard hospital on a referral from Whitman Walker and I tried calling Whitman Walker for over an hour to get my referral faxed over to Howard and nobody picked up . Missed my appointment. Terrible service.
This clinic has great doctors, pas and nurses, but their infrastructure, scheduling policies, and administrative staff are terrible. The first time I tried to make an appointment, I was quoted a 2 month wait time. I was a little put out, but figured that a new patient appointment might require more time than usual for physicals or lab results or something. My appointment was for 8 am. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. When I arrived, the clinic was closed because they apparently close any time the federal government does, and they had closed because of metro delays or something. Still, I had managed a trek there at 7:30 in the morning. I get a call at 9:45 am telling me that my appointment was cancelled because of government closure and I would have to call in to reschedule. Over two hours from the time that I was asked to show up. This government closure was scheduled since at least 5pm the previous evening, but no one thought to call and tell their early morning patients that their appointments would be cancelled. So, even more put out and frustrated, I call in and try to make another appointment. The receptionist had absolutely no sympathy for the issues of the previous day. He offered another appointment for 7 weeks later. Its now going to take nearly 4 months to get in for a new patient appointment. Annoyed, I take it.Fast forward a few months. I had managed to get to the appointment without government cancellations and the like, and I enter the building for the first time to try and find my doctor. I go to the second floor staff desk and ask there. I get a snarky response from the rude receptionist. Yeah, shes not on this floor. And then he turned away and LEFT! Ok...so I go up a floor and ask there. Luckily the receptionist there was much nicer and was able to direct me to the right place. The doctors appointment was awesome. The nurses, and doctor were friendly, funny, and absolutely amazing at making me comfortable. I figure the delay has been worth it, and hopefully now that Im an established patient I will be able to get in quicker. I have a prescription for my inhaler filled and leave.Fast forward again and its the summer. I had a pretty bad asthma attack during a race, and my inhaler ran out. Im stressed because I have another race the next weekend and no more inhaler in case I have an attack, I ask to make an appointment. The nearest available date for an appointment is in a month. I tell them that my inhaler is out and that I was scared to compete without having it. I ask if I could get it refilled by having it called into a pharmacy and the receptionist said no, that I had to have an appointment since it was so long since I had gotten it. So I begrudgingly accept the appointment.I get a call 2 weeks before my appointment, telling me that they actually scheduled me on the day that my doctor cant take me, so I would have to reschedule. Again. They had no sympathy for me and didnt seem to care that I had to deal with THEIR mistakes, and the next appointment they can give me is 5 weeks away. Thats it. Im done.Admittedly, there is one really rude receptionist that I always get when I call in. His attitude is definitely NOT something that helps patients, as he always seems to imply that you are wasting his time, and speaks to you scathingly. He never offers solutions, only problems. I think his name is Michael, but no guarantees. Maybe the other receptionists are great...but that one has terrible customer service and is really bringing down this location.I wish I could go back here, but apparently they are so busy they dont have time for their patients.
The first two times I got my blood drawn here a few months ago, the person doing the blood draw was on her phone talking to someone (a friend?) through her AirPods. I thought she was saying something to me, then she pointed to her AirPods. Why is someone talking on the phone while about to poke someone in the arm!?A couple weeks ago, I made an appointment to get a BC shot done here. The provider I see here called and asked if I wanted to get the vial from the pharmacy. I thought I’d just give myself the shot then, because I give myself shots already for other meds. She wanted me to go in to the clinic after buying the vial from the pharmacy just for someone to show me how to do the shot. My original appointment would’ve been for a nurse to give me the shot with their own vial. It cost me $70 (and co-pay) for one dose of BC meds, whereas if they’d just left my appointment as it was and had a nurse do my shot, insurance said they would’ve covered it. Because I had to pick up the vial from the pharmacy, it’s not covered. What’s the point of getting the vial from the pharmacy if I’m going to the clinic to get the shot done already? It’s the same stuff in the vial, I’m just here for a shot.Aside from this, they are friendly and professional (usually). I will not be using their pharmacy at all, and will not pick up any vial meds or other meds that they can administer during an appointment.
Let me start with I know every at WW is very busy and I am very grateful for all every at WW does. I honestly do not know what I would do without them. However, it is impossible to get in touch with anybody. Knowbody (except Erica) returns emails within a reasonable timeframe, most are ignored. They seem to enjoy passing the buck off to someone else. I have never dealt with the same person twice. Each time I get in touch, Im told someone else is responsible for my inquiry, and then it stops. Be prepared to do things on your own. If a Supervising Attorney has time to promptly reply to an email, Im not sure why nobody else can even acknowledge an email.
I very rarely leave reviews, but when I do there is a reason. In three years of having my prescriptions filled at Whitman Walker, I cannot recall a time when I went to the pharmacy and my prescription was ready as promised. Either they forget to fill them, they never run the insurance, they didn’t fill them correctly, etc.—there is always an excuse. The pharmacy front-line employees NEVER think out of the box for a solution; they just shrug. I’ve only returned here each month because I feel obligated to support a clinic that’s done great things for the community. However, after my last experience ,where my doctor ordered my prescription on January 2nd and I went to pick it up on the 7th and it wasn’t ready, I reached my boiling point. When asked why It wasn’t ready, on cue the Pharmacy tech simply shrugged his shoulders. This place is both dysfunctional and incompetent. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Overall, WWH and Pharmacy isn’t that great! It is always inconvenient to schedule an appointment to see my doctor. They do not accommodate the working people in regards to flexibility and time. And when I do get an appointment, it is rushed and impersonal. With each visit, new unnecessary medications are being added to my list. I refuse to be a walking pharmacy. In addition to that, the Pharmacy is EXTREMELY slow and never have all medications in stock, which is another inconvenience. I am strongly considering switching to a different medical provider.
I have had a really excellent experience receiving care at WWH. I also deeply appreciate the protections they have in place to reduce the risk of patients contracting Covid and other infectious diseases at their clinic, such as mandatory masks. This makes the space much more accessible to our community members who are immunosuppressed or otherwise at a higher risk for Covid.
Javasia from WWH called me back within 10 minutes of me leaving a voicemail, so I totally take what said back. They really do care. So I changed it from 4/5 to 5/5 because they really do care.Javasia (JAH-VAA-SHA), was amazing and had a beautiful personality. Thanks for all your hard work!************************I’m in LOVE with WWH! When you CAN get a hold of them, they’re EXCELLENT! But I am frustrated having to leave unanswered emails or waiting days for a reply. But I’m hooked on their service, so I let them get away with murder.
Very upset with customer service, came 15 mins late all the way from Capitol Heights for a deep cleaning, and they refused to see me. Ive been coming here for 5yrs and they dont appreciate you as a customer. Was late because finding a parking spot is like finding a needle in a haystack. Dont recommend them, youre better finding a dentist closer to you with more flexibility and available parking.
Whitman Walker Health is a great place. They have a team of caring doctors, nurses and professional staff and administration who care about their patients and the community. They advocate for LGBTQ folks and provide a large range of health and supportive services.
Dr. Clark is rude and condescending. He unprofessional with how he talks to his patients and the questions he asks. Hes also dismissive of my concerns. Ive been having problems with my foot for about 3 years. I mention it to him Every time I go see him and hed say that he doesnt know whats wrong with it. But he hasnt looked. I finally left and now I have a diagnosis and medical attention that I need. My foot turned out to be something serious.
I wish there was a better option for trans-affirming healthcare in the DMV. The doctors are good- if you can get in to see one. But its so incredibly hard to get in touch with them. I get the sense that they generally dont care what happens to their trans patients, and were mostly left to try to work through their system and fend for ourselves. If youre not good at self-advocating, then youre probably not going to have a good time. They see you- they just dont care.
If you are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a physician, this is not the place to go. It seems like just another private clinic focused on churning through volumes of patients. My personal experience with Dr. Leon was reflective of my perception of the clinic itself (focused on churning through patients rather than listen to concerns, etc).
Terrible service. Borderline discriminatory towards people with existing diagnoses and have patient history with them. Was told I had to “get a referral” before I could schedule another appt for a diagnosis that last for life and has the same treatment. Basically, I have to stop my own medical treatment because they have their own red tape to get through. They’ve gone downhill over the last several years. 0/5 stars, will never give them my business or refer people to them.
This is difficult to review. I went in for a COVID PCR test and they said results would be sent within 24-48 hours. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and professional and seemingly efficient on-site. Its now been over 48 hours and still no results and so I continue to self quarantine. Calling them pretty much results in no one picking up the phone and long wait times on hold. Someone eventually answered yesterday and told me results actually take 3-5 days. So false advertising? I guess I dont recommend getting a PCR COVID test here. Better to pay and get immediate results.
Whitman Walter provides important services but expect to spend several hours for routine tests (e.g. Tuesday and Thursday HIV testing can last more than 4 hours from start to finish). Most of the time is spent sitting and waiting. They have a good amount of funding (occupying a new office in prime DC real estate) but they dont have enough staff nor do they seem to have an efficient process for moving clients through.
I went here to begin HRT and get prescriptions filled, and I have to say this is by far THE BEST place for any LGBTQ+ care. I also go here for trans-spectrum therapy group which helps tremendously. Ive had a wonderful experience with the staff, theyre all kind and gender-affirming.
I came to Whitman Walker 15 months ago for treatment as a Transgender woman. From the reception to the nurses to the PA (Barbara Lewes) that I saw was an awesome experience. Outstanding service and the caring factor was wonderful, Thank you all for being there and serving the community the way you do. You all are the most positive part of my journey.
Pharmacy lost my insurance paperwork. I have an upcoming surgery that I dropped off prescriptions for and not only did one of my Rx’s get “lost in the system” but they misplaced my insurance paperwork. I eventually saw a tech stumble upon my papers in a random bin beneath the counter.
Dam dont nobody answers the phone its some number they sent with my portal login information and i called it and nobody returns my call or nothing thats scary fareal we talking health here thats really sad now the doctor that left there about 2 years ago he would call u back every time u sent him a message he did everything right but he left and now they have some doctors in there that dont care at all the doctor prescribed me 2 medications i only got 1 and i called him about the other and didnt get no call back and then i called the next week about some papers that i left up there didnt get no call back or response i could be dead and they wouldnt care i think im gonna have to find me a new primary care because my health is valuable and its scary to know that you are going someplace and they dont think the same way i wish that benny taylor was still there thats the doctor that left he had feelings
I have been with whitman walker for about 4 years now . Ive never had any issues . I love dr guerrero. All the staff has been professional. However today I was shocked by the phone call I received. Like very condescending, couldnt answer a question to save his life. Just hung on me when a cell phone rang in the background. Ive never been so appalled by a phone call. Like you called me . Not the other way around .
I have full confidence in them overseeing my overall health. Full physical, mental health and pharmacy services. Important, the physical and mental health departments work together. My only gripe is parking around 14th & Q NW is hell. Oh, and the pharmacy can take hours sometimes.
Terrible customer service, they never deliver medications on time. The staff never knows whats going on, there is no accountability and seemingly no oversight to the daily tasks at the establishment. Ive have yet to receive a delivery on time and at best its 1 day late usually 2 or 3. Horrible service and horrible experience using them, im just wasting my money it seems like.
This seems like a great place for gender-affirming care if your time is worthless and you have no self-respect. After wasting a month just trying to *schedule* an intake, I am done. I expect some degree of incompetence from LGBT clinics (due to underfunding, understaffing, etc.), but good lord!
This is one of the best places Ive ever received Healthcare. If it wasnt for the kind and caring staff and the services they offer, I dont know what I would have done without them! People jump through hoops to make sure you get what you need and they make you feel a part of the family I absolutely 100% recommend Whitman Walker at 1525 14th Street Northwest Washington DC
Amazing place. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Doctors are knowledgable and respectful. Especially recommended if youre trans and want a doctors office that will know how to treat you right.
First I want to say to you all folks that complain about the equipment is to old and waiting for 3 hours at WW, Get a Life you ought to be glad that the District of Columbia Washington DC have WW Clinic to aid the citizens that do not have any resource to help them live healthy by reaching out health and legal support. Not only that there are people with depression like me , job less and no health insurance, WW will aid you to get these documents and do a follow up on your previous assessment. They have great PAs Doctors and nurses plus the lab technicians . Dr. Justice Arnold PA,MPH will make sure that you are walking out the door healthy . Salute to Sara Larson : Nurse Care Manager she is a great nurse , she does assessments of patients and make sure that you following the procedures that was prescribed by the Doctors and she can answer most of your questions to alleviate your anxiety response. Sara Larson understands your issue but she shows that she cares not only to HIV clients she help others without HIV with health problems. The clinic dont just help HIV folks it also provide support to low income folks to assure that they are in good health. Effie Marvray is one of the greatest of them all , she is passionate, understanding and gives 100% customer services in a role of Medical Adherence Care Navigating you to the right track in housing , utilities and she does follow up ( may God Bless Ms. Effie ) . Larry Evans was great in assisting me in navigation to housing . Thank you Jessica Estrada for talking to me and showing that you do care. Salute !So you complainers stop fussing and Thank God Jesus Christ that he has provide us DC citizens support , care, and legal help . Hats off to You Whitman Walker !
Ive had great experiences with the doctors and staff but its nearly impossible to make an appointment. I would advise finding a doctor elsewhere where you dont have to wait 25 minutes to speak to a human.
I gave them enough opportunities to redeem themselves but they failed every time. I thought switching clinics would be a pain but I finally decided to do it.In comparison, I can now see that WW are WAY behind. Save yourself the trouble, anger of waiting, and most of it, the time. This place is just not worth it.
Incompetent administrative staff. I called to make an appointment, gave them all of my registration information, and was told I would hear back from them at a certain date to confirm my appointment. The date came and went with no contact. When I called them back to follow up, they had lost my registration information.
Always have a wonderful experience when coming here. My doctors and lab techs are all amazing and super helpful.
The most incompetent staff Ive ever dealt with in my life. This includes the pharmacy and its staff, the 14th street nw location, and the se Dc location. The Doctors, Medical Assistants, pharmacy techs, pharmacists, telephone operators, every one. No one person is excluded.
I am transgender and I go to Whitman-Walker for my treatments. My nurse practitioner Douglas Reed has been nothing but awesome to me. The only thing that I will say needs improvement is the pharmacy. They never have my prescriptions ready but everyone is super nice.
Great place just moved here and got in easy and saw a great doctor. The only thing I have a complaint about iis that the receptionist didnt seem to know what they are doing and I had to keep going up and down to floors and I had one guy get rude with me. Communication is not a strong point.
I love Whitman, they Saved my life
The STI Clinic is amazing. Everyone is very knowledgeable and very caring for your personal needs. I highly recommend every interaction I have had with this clinic. Go get tested!
Good LGBTQ Dr Office. They offer a wide range of services for everyone. I would highly encourage making an appointment before walking in.
New policy, ten minutes late and your appointment is canceled. Arrive fifteen minutes early as requested, wait an additional thirty minutes to see the doctor/care provider. This is abusive.
Everytime i need to go to this pharmacy im misgendered or deadnamed and Im so so tired of crying after every visit im tired of no one caring when i correct them every pharmacy worker is rude and doesn’t listen
Wonderful place with people who care .I was pleasantly impressed by their kindness and care I received.I hope things goes well with my transition.
Hi I love this clinic helps you and gives you good treatment I been coming to them for more than 11 years and they helped with my surgery process love them
This is the most incompetent, unorganized healthcare organization I have ever encountered.
I would not recommend you try to get a COVID test here, over an hour on the phone, disconnected 3 times and then the new patient links they sent us had DocuSign errors that said contact the sender, we told them and they said to try the link again tomorrow.
They are liars, they give you false hope. If you leave your life in their hands for sure you risk dying!!!!!! a simple phone call back is too difficult of a task for them even!!!!!
Great resource for the LGBTQ community, as well as low-income individuals. Wait times can be long even with an appointment, but the non-judgmental staff is worth it
Terrible place and customer service. Everything is a month or two to get in. Never coming back
I have been trying to make an appointment. No one answers the phone. When I am transferred I am told that This mailbox is full, goodbye. Your potential clients/patients are trying to get help from you, can you please pick up the phone or allow us to leave a voicemail?
I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A DOCTORS OFFICE AND THE DR. NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARENSEEING. DR. SHAH CALLED ME HIGGINS AND MY NAME IS HEIGHT. NOW MY FAITH IN DOCTORS HAS BEEN LOWERED SUBSTANTIALLY. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DAYS WHERE THE CLIENT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON. DR. SHAH SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HERSELF. AND DID NOT TAKE THE SITUATION SERIOUSLY AT ALL.
Always perfectional and friendly. The best decision I made is to come here and make this place my personal health care provider
It was a great service, my tests were on time and especially an excellent service to Kevin in the prep navigator unit. I am confident in leaving my health in the hands of whitman walker, I recommend it
I have been calling and have waited for over 20-30 mins waiting on someone to answer and they hang up. Unacceptable so now I have to look for a different provider smh!
This place is getting worst and worst... after trying to get my medications 💊.. For almost 45 minutes... They keep putting me and hold and hold
Great service and staff is very kind and courteous...I am content with the services provided... Thank you Whitman walker for leaving a great legacy... Your memory and good heart will be remembered... So far is reflect in the service the staff has provided.....
Consistently terrible service. Ive already moved all of my medical care from WWH and will now focus on divesting from their awful Pharmacy.
The nurses here are pros when it comes to drawing blood. The environment is very accommodating and respectful of everyone.
Its fully govt run. Its the D.C. clinic, your a number like a Borg. Every aspect is different and no one there has a clue, its always something with them
It just seems like no one answers the phone here 💆🏼♂️ An the patient portal is no help at all, in all trying to book an appointment is like pulling teeth.. in my opinion dont even waste your time
I have called 3X and left a message to be called back. I WANT TO MAKE A DONATION!! THEY MAILED A SOLICITATION, THEN DONT WANT THE MONEY? MAYBE THE INMATES RUN THE ASYLUM.
There Pharmacy is slow and incompetent.... EVERY single time my doctor sends them a script.... they cant find it in there system....Think Id rather die then have to deal with them.... been in pharmacy for 45 minutes already
I am really disappointed with the inefficient service that this pharmacy offers, my ophthalmologist sent a prescription and after 5 days I have not received my eye medication today I went back and they told me that it was still on the way, they are ineffective and they are playing with patients health
I really appreciate the care abd service they provided me
I just called for a general question and was actually connected to a human, and on top of that, this human (Amy) was amazingly helpful, really informative, and kind! Great experience!
