Ive been going every so often to this location of Whitman-Walker Health since it first opened. Ive always gotten good service here, but today I ended up late to an appointment because of the security guard on the first floor.I was still seen by JJ and his manager, Monique. They listened to my frustrations and worked to reschedule my appointment for right after lunch. My mood completely turned around.My phlebotomist this afternoon was also wonderful and was very good-natured.This is the best service Ive gotten from this new Max-Robinson Center. Im happy to see that the Whitman-Walker value of We see you is alive and strong in this new building.
Been going to the 14th st location since 2020 but moved and this one is about 10 minutes closer so i decided to go there instead. appointment was 9:30am. I show up at 9:30am and try to find parking. Enter at 9:35am and Im told to go to the 4th floor. I get to the 4th floor, check in and im told to go to the 5th floor. It is now 9:42am and the lady asks the doctor if shell still see me. nope, im outside of the 10 minute grace period by 2 minutes. lol the ego on this doctor, what a clown. Also, I was there for a mental health medicine prescription and asthma medicine refills that i need/cant miss. nah, health doesnt matter, her ego and those 2 minutes did. Ill never go back to whitman walker again. youve lost a 4.5 year patient.
The staff takes too long. When you come here, you literally can expect to wait almost two hours to be supported. It’s ridiculous. Their testing center runs slow. They could do better.
Appointment have no meaning here you only get a 10min greace time and if you check in any later you get your appointment canceled . and that would be appreciated if that would mean you also get seen in a timely manner . I have been waiting patiently for over 30min to be seen after checking in on time and when I ask how much longer will I need to wait the option I was given was to wait until I am called or to reschedule.
The new building is great, big, bright, and airy with easy access by metro or car. Much closer to the metro and more parking than the 14th street location. Deducting one star because Ive had many issues with scheduling and IT, but the doctors and staff you actually interact with are wonderful.
They really care and will not let you walkout the door alone.They have always been there for me.

They canceled my appointment 3 times after them asking me if I am available that day. I usually am but they should be asking the doctor if he is available. I understand its Christmas but you should not schedule people on days if you are leaving for a week.
This is a review for Dr. Oli solely, whom I saw here as well as at their 14th St NW location back in 2019. At the time I ended up without a job for the first time but had a condition that needed to be monitored closely by an OBGYN, and I was able to get service here. I went to see Dr. Oli (her actual last time is much more complicated) and I remember that I never felt so heard by any doctor before. I went to see her 2-3 times for different issues and she was extremely thorough and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, which I usually have a lot of due to my scientific background.. I now live in New England and to this day I think she is the best physician Ive ever seen.I dearly hope Dr. Oli is recognised for her competence and professionalism by Whiteman-Walker
Went today for COVID testing and had the most wonderful experience. The staff and physicians were incredibly kind, organized, and thoughtful. They did a great job of explaining what the process would be and everything was totally smooth.I was in and out in 10 minutes!
My mother receives the best service here! The doctors and nurses always have a positive attitude and get the job done! Would highly recommend to my fellow Latinx community.
Trying to schedule an appointment has become very difficult, you are placed on a very long hold to what seems like a transferred call only to be placed back on hold to be disconnected. This process is unacceptable and not very patient friendly. It should not be that difficult to schedule appointments.
I had a new crown placed and my experience was amazing. Dr. McKernan was professional and made me feel at ease. Would go again 10/10
Disappointed in how much of a different experience you get when you go to the location in SE vs NW... Is there less consideration/customer service based on demographic being served? I like the SE location for convenience but if I want to be treated well and not over looked Id have to travel to NW where theres a better facilities and timely services are offered.
The most incompetent staff Ive ever dealt with in my life. This includes the pharmacy and its staff, the 14th street nw location, and the SE DC location. The Doctors, Medical Assistants, pharmacy techs, pharmacists, telephone operators, every one. No one person is excluded.
Very kind, personable, and efficient. I was scheduled in for a walk-in appointment since my primary care physician in the downtown facility was out of office.

I know its alot going on but whats with picking up the phone and not scheduling someone but to transfer a call thats not getting picked up. Im confused about the whole situation 😕

Here talking to a very nice place because there is parking all the staff are very friendly I am delighted with the place they were very kind to my dog Maggy
