I had the pleasure of being assisted by Donna during my recent appointment at Quest, and I couldnt be more impressed with her level of service. From the moment I walked in, Donna greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail and thoroughness throughout the appointment were truly commendable.Donna took the time to listen to my concerns and questions, ensuring that all of my needs were addressed. Her knowledge and professionalism were evident, and I felt confident in her ability to assist me every step of the way.Overall, my experience with Donna at Quest was exceptional, and I cant thank her enough for her outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of assistance at Quest on K Street NW. Thank you, Donna, for going above and beyond to ensure a positive experience!
I went up for some walk in testing and apparently being open til 4 as the hours state really means the door is locked at 3:30. I sadly need to go back but I’m not looking forward to it. The only good part was the woman I spoke to on the phone about it.
If I could put no stars, I would! Quest never confirmed the appointment scheduled online at this appointment. We arrived on time but there was only the check-in machine which only informed us that there was no appointment to our name. We checked in for the standby service which showed on the screen as next coming up, which was 20 mins before their closing time and nobody ahead of us. We waited for the technician to come out and tell us that they are closed and wont take us in. Her name is Mia C. (she would not give me her last name) - extremely rude, condescending and arrogant, kept telling me not to yell at her, even though I was not. Refused to check their records for our appointment and told us to come back another time. In the time that she spent being rude to us and refusing to provide service, they could have given us the service. Horrible staff and horrible service!
Well, I scheduled my appointment online. Easy. Checked in like it said to do when I got there. I was called in right away and treated very well. It does seem like a hard job and not every client or worker seems super excited by it. The chain of custody and the like seems like a lot of details to track and keep in order. I was walked through everything and my sample collected with ease. I got to sit in a really cool and tall chair that felt like a pretty comfortable throne, although it was gray and less colorful than Id normally like. Overall, we quickly accomplished the task and I was sent on my way.
I arrived early and was finished and out before my appt time. Phlebotomy was great. Didnt feel a thing!
One staff member was very rude, seemed like I was inconveniencing her and her time. Checked in and she came out, what do you need. She order the other staff member to draw blood. She was nice. Will not go back!
I scheduled my quest appointment and it was one of the easiest process that I have ever endured. Also, When waiting in the waiting room, I was taking back into my appointment on time and had to pleasure of meeting Donna who was very kind and knowledgeable on what she does. If I am needing any test to be done, I’ll definitely come back andrefer friends to come to this location.
I had an appointment for a time-sensitive test at 8 am, and wasn’t called back until about 8:10. I showed my lab order and the employee rudely said they couldn’t do the test because my doctor gave me a LabCorp order, not a Quest order. I’ve never had this problem before; I thought a lab order is a lab order and good anywhere, but I asked if I could call my doctor and have her send the order to Quest. The employee said yes but I’d have to go back into the waiting room (where there were more people than chairs waiting), so who knows how long that would take. Never going back here again! If you can, go to the LabCorp upstairs in the same building. They got me in faster than Quest did and I didn’t even have an appointment scheduled!
I can’t stress this enough. Do not go to this location. I went to go get some blood work done and the process seemed seamless. After days of not seeing anything on my account about the results I called in only to find out that no one even has proof that I got the blood work done. How do you lose VIALS of blood. Plural!!I’m thankful for the ladies that are currently investigating this matter for me but this is truly unacceptable. I have been speaking to different agents for over a week and still no one knows what happened to my blood. I’m still waiting to find out what happened.
I had a very bad experience here this morning and have been thinking about it all day. The check in process was easy enough, once called back the lady helping me was so rude. I didn’t hear her the first time and she raised her voice in annoyance. She continued to speak to me like I was dumb. I’m telling you, I didn’t even know how to react. Once she put the blood pressure cuff on me, she walked out of the room and cursed under her breath. I have no idea what she’s going through, but it’s unacceptable to treat others this way. I feel violated that I just sat there and took it. Quest- I recommend you get new staff.
They dont know how to receive an electronic fax, printed out only the cover sheet and then said never received the order. Made me call for a new order to be manually faxed and then wait back in the waiting room. Also insisted on taking a credit card instead of billing after finding out what insurance will cover. Also, some of the staff are weirdly cold and distant, as if trying to be warm and friendly but just either dont really want to or are just too done with people.
15 minutes late for an appointment for two small children both of whom had appointments. The woman were nasty. They obviously didn’t want to do their jobs or help patients. More than half an hour before they close, and they wouldn’t see us or any other patient. Unbelievable.
Wouldnt accept electronic order, told me to print across the street at fedex what I had ready to send via email. Also, some of the staff are cold and distant. In a prior visit they made me pay a 60 usd balance even though I had a payment plan. I paid per their request, called quest to cancel the payment plan but then the payment still went through a month later, resulting in overpayment. When I received a check in the mail quest took out a small amount for a subsequent lab. But provided no receipt or accounting. This company is a mess.
I called to ensure they had my orders 3 days before my appointment and they said yes. When I arrived the person that assisted me said they didnt have my orders. Apparently, they dont have a phone number and just because Quest 866# can see it doesnt mean they can. In my case, I asked if they could get it from them, but no my doctor has to fax it to them and my doctor wasnt open yet. The staff was frustrated and said it is on my doctor, but if I can call Quest and they can see my orders thats on them. They need to fix their system or perhaps get their own phone number. If going here, ensure you have their local fax number before going and hope for the best. There were two other people with the same issue while I was there so clearly its a problem.
I had my PCP send them an order via fax, but they did not have it for whatever reason. They then want you to send them an email with this information to an unsecure email they have posted on a flyer and on top of that theres no WIFI access or signal in the office to be able to do that.
I went to LabCorp a couple weeks ago (19th St location) and this place was a thousand times better. I barely waited until my name was called (I waited about 45 minutes at LC), the process was quick and clearly explained, the employees were friendly to me and to each other, and every area was clean and cheery. Overall a great experience!
They were very helpful and patient with me because i had to download my insurance card.
The entire process from triaging to the conclusion of my appointment was extremely effortless.
I have frequently had to endure more than one poke when having blood work done; this wasnt the case here. I also had a misunderstanding and failed to bring a printed copy of my test order. The lovely person assisting me was so patient and kind as she helped me connect my phone to their printer so I could complete my blood work. I wish I remembered her name so I could include specific thanks. Regardless, I am thankful for such a positive experience with what could have been stressful or futile, and I am thankful for and inspired by the patience of medical professionals especially in the current world!
So i get there and there is a Kiosk that you sign in on...easy enough; then a prompt on the Video screen says my name and the 4 minutes wait...I waited 22 minutes and the screen never changed...when they FINALLY did call me back I asked how long it would take because Ive waited 22 minutes (after the board telling me I had a 3 minute wait) and now i;m late for work.....she says...im not with IT!!!Ha Ha Ha...Are you serious or just a brain surgeon? I had to leave and go to another location another day because the lady is inept and completely doesnt know her job; and COVID is not an excuse anymore; you people gotta get your stuff together. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. HORRIBLE AMATEURS OVER THERE
Made an appointment online and was done in 5 min. I highly recommend that you do or else you have to call a number.
I have never been an easy blood draw due to some small veins. Typically I am poked multiple times to no avail so going to get my blood drawn brings up some anxiety. Enter Jamila (sp?)! She was grounded, kind, patient and got me on the first try! I will be going back for future blood draws.
I arrived June 9th 8:00 the staff was very rude there was a lightskin women and medium built black women with dread locks that was there on this day and time and she was making jokes about me in the back and wasn’t treating me with a ounce or spec of decency she also was being very rude and spoke very poorly to me I think she needs to find a new career or more training
Had some issues with insurance coverage for my blood draw and the staff I had gave me a cold gaze the entire time. I was only in the patient room for 10 minutes and felt very judged and unwelcomed the entire time.
Very efficiently run location, staff very pleasant to interact with.
Staff are very rude. I wish I remember her name so that I can report her to the corporate.
This is a well-run operation. They got me in early, had everything ready to go, did my testing, and got me out quickly and competently.
They just hang up on you when you call to make an appointment
The phone line is 100% automated and the website doesnt say what tests they offer. Totally useless.
In and out within 2 minutes
Great experience and Jamia was a pro.
Very friendly, professional, helpful, hygienic, fast! Very nice experience.
Disrespectful employees
The staff are very rude and extremely unhelpful. As healthcare workers, they are completely unprofessional.
