Beware. I appreciate the work SMYAL does; however, it is extremely disappointing to have a nonprofit in 2024 offer no way to unsubscribe from marketing emails. I’ve brought to their attention the legal requirements about including the option and it seems they are uninterested in abiding by federal legislation. Either they are so desperate for funding or they do not take regulations seriously enough. If you give one time, be prepared to receive emails for multiple years with no way to opt out.
SMYAL is amazing. We love going there and supporting them. They have been a wondering support for our family and especially for our kid. Highly suggest this organization to everyone I know that needs similar support.
