I placed my son in March of 2017 after finding out I was pregnant while in the depths of an opiate addiction...my social worker, Amanda Aliberti, was nothing short of amazing....truly an angel on earth! Never once did I feel judged for ANY reason or pressured to do anything...they dont only have your babies best interest at heart but YOURS too!10/10 WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We started our family over five years ago through an open adoption with AFTHs Trolley Square office, and that experience was so incredibly fulfilling that were back again working with the same office on our second adoption. All of the social workers that weve had the pleasure of working with have been so supportive, informative, and hard-working. Our current social worker, Amanda, has been everything we could have hoped for...a teacher, a coach, and a guide helping us to grow our family. We wouldnt be were we are today if it werent for AFTH!
We adore our social worker Danielle. She has been so good to us from the moment we met her, the day we first met our sweet baby incidentally, and every day since. She has been wonderful at gently guiding us through the roller coaster ride of emotions that an adoption journey can bring. Throughout the thrill, joy, fear, ups, downs, panic and excitement she has been a consistent calming presence and we are so grateful.
Wonderful place and people. Thats almost not enough though Amanda one of the counselors here has literally saved my life if you were someone you know is considering adoption please consider going to her its going to be the hardest thing youve ever done in your life she will make every second as painless as she possibly can
