The nurse practitioner that I saw was incredible. Very nice very knowledgeable very patient. Everyone else was bordering on disturbing. Many of them looked like they simply didnt want to be there. While in the waiting room I heard a pharmacist reaming a sales representative for addressing them with the wrong pronoun. While I completely understand it is very important to address people by the pronoun that they prefer it is also important to be aware of the fact that you are in front of the public. And thusly being judged by the public. For someone like me if thats the first thing I see is the pharmacist yelling at a sales representative how can I be sure that that pharmacist is going to treat me with respect. Respect is a two-way street. Not addressing someone by the proper pronouns is disrespectful. Screaming and yelling at someone for not addressing you by the proper pronouns is just as bad as them not addressing you by the proper pronouns.
Let me tell you about my experience at Equitas Health Akron. It was like stepping into a warm embrace from the moment I walked through the doors. The professionalism and care exhibited by every member of the staff, from Registration to Nursing, Doctors, and even Security, were truly remarkable. They made me feel like family, addressing all my concerns with expertise and kindness. Its rare to find such genuine warmth in a medical setting, but Equitas Health Akron made it feel effortless. Thank you for not just treating me as a patient, but as a cherished member of the community. Even though Im not from Akron, you made me feel like I belonged. Thats a testament to the exceptional love and support you provide to everyone walks through your doors. Keep shining bright.
I cant say enough good things about this place. First off, they provide an extremely valuable like service to the community. Secondly, the staff is just great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and always going the extra mile. Ive been consistently impressed with them and can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience.
Poorly run organization. I left three messages to find out who my new case manager after transferring to Akron a year ago only to hear nothing from them.Damned if you, damned if you dont. COVID or Non-COVID, the professionalism needs improvement in this organization.
