So far my experience at Shady Grove Fertility has been great! I just went through the egg retrieval procedure this week and my nurse, Katie, couldn’t have been more calming & gentle. She made me feel at ease during an anxious time. The surgeon on call was Dr. Libby and she was also a friendly face ensuring I understood what was going to happen! The communication from everyone has been great and I have not felt left in the dark at all during this process.
We worked with Shady Grove Fertility for almost two full years, and they were incredible at every turn. Dr. Quinton Katler was consistently attentive, responsive, and supportive. He took our questions seriously. He clearly keeps up with new research and kept us informed. We also worked closely with Nurse Teena, and she made us feel so comfortable and supported. The entire team at Shady Grove is welcoming and wonderful.
I am forever grateful and thankful for Dr. Katler and everyone at SGF Atlanta. They became family and brought me through the hardest journey of my life. We are due in January with our first beautiful baby! I wouldn’t be here without him, Dr. Nannoum, Tena, and Rita. They cheered us on, believed in us, and provided excellent care. I can’t wait for our baby to meet them, and to be back for baby #2!
Bringing my wife to SGF was a great experience today! All of the nurses and doctor were absolutely AMAZING. We felt so comfortable and taken care of. Kelly was exceptionally sincere and caring, making sure that we had everything in order for my wife’s procedure today.
I’ll start with saying, no matter where our fertility journey ends up, I’m beyond grateful for the team at SGF. And going to this location yesterday fully solidified that. Everyone was incredibly kind, caring, and so considerate (and even more so when I told them about a traumatic experience I had at my previous clinic which was causing me anxiety during my appointment). The office itself was absolutely adorable and inspiring with the lovely messages on the walls.Thank you all for being a wonderful support system through a difficult life situation, thank you all for your thoughtfulness, and thank you all for the hope you provide for the future. ❤️
Dr. Keith McCarthy and her team are truly blessings. I met her in person for the first time yesterday, and she explained everything clearly, addressing all my questions and concerns. Her nurse and clinical team are incredible, always ready to respond promptly to my portal messages. A few months ago, I was very nervous about my sonogram, but the SGF team made me feel at ease. Similarly, during my hysteroscopy yesterday, Dr. McCarthy and her team took excellent care of me, providing comfort when I felt anxious. I highly recommend SGF and Dr. Keith McCarthy and her supportive team.
I have the best care team I could have ever hoped for in such a stressful time! My nurse Rachel was so attentive and went above and beyond every step of the way. She was always there in the good and the bad. She celebrates with you and holds your hand through the heartbreaks. I could not have asked for a better nurse who will always hold a place in our hearts! Dr. Namnoum and Rachel both are an exceptional team!
I love the girls at the Alpharetta location they have been so kind and loving and have made this experience so much easier because it can be scary and stressful at times. Andrea my ultrasound tech is amazing.. I just had my extraction at the Sandy springs location and Sue, Karen, and Katie took such good care of me along with many others! They held my hand, hugged me and made sure I felt safe and cared for the entire time. I could not be more greatful for all these amazing women and their support during this phase of my life. 10/10 for the nursing care, front desk staff, ultrasound techs and phlebotomist.
I had my second Egg Retrieval (1st with SGF) yesterday and the experience from my first clinic to now Shady Grove was an absolute night and day experience. Dr. Libby is my physician, however, my ER was performed by Dr. Kanter, who was an absolute delight. Katie and Karen were my nurses, they were patient, kind, comforting, and reassuring. Denise was my CRNA, she explained everything thoroughly and made sure I got a good nap in for my procedure. Quiana, who has been my assigned nurse from the very beginning, she made it a point to come meet me in person yesterday and I though that was so sweet- she has always been patient with me and takes time to listen to me. I feel so blessed and lucky to be an SGF patient. Everyone I have encountered has been kind and considerate to both me and my husband.
My experience with Shady Grove has been nothing short from AMAZING! All of the staff have been so kind and courteous to me! Adrienne is simply wonderful and is there to answer any question or concern that I have. She responds within a timely manner which is extremely essential during the fertility journey. Dr. Libby is one of the best doctors I ever had. She is so determined to ensure I have a successful pregnancy. I have so much faith that my fertility journey will be a great one because of Shady Grove.
Nurse Katie is hands down the best nurse!! Her kind and calm demeanor was much needed. She laughed at my jokes, did not mind my constant yapping, and ultimately made me feel very welcomed. I was at ease from the moment I met her (but was still doing the most yapping). I am glad I had her by my side.
So incredibly grateful for Shady Grove! Top notch care, communication, compassion, and knowledge. I can’t thank Dr. Namnoum, and her nurse Rachel Huff enough. They both took such great care of me. Rachel was ALWAYS available to answer questions and talk me off the ledge! Dr. Namnoum was so thorough! Every appointment we had, I knew she was totally focused on my case. She would even call me back and ask follow up questions after our appointment had ended! So thankful for this wonderful group. The phlebotomist are excellent. So personable and made those early mornings bearable. Even all the way to the front desk. Beautiful and sweet ladies! Also Rebecca, who did some of my procedures, was phenomenal. In just a few short months, I went from consultation to pregnant! I appreciate you all so much! Thank you for this beautiful gift.
Nurse Katie H. is very patient, has a calming and friendly demeanor, and is attentive to details (explaining every step of what she is doing before she does it). Nurse Rita has a confident aura and is very professional and I like when she just pops her head in to say ‘Hi’ as I’m waiting. Ebony in the OR is really easy to talk to and answers questions easily. Lucy in the OR has a pleasant vibe. Everyone at SGF is so professional and considerate. I’ve learned names and some personalities while I’ve been there; it’s definitely not what I envisioned for a medical setting but in the best way (more warm and human). I could go on and on about the SGF team and their work (from my perspective) and it would only be good things.
I absolutely can not express the appreciation and gratitude that I feel for my clinical staff. Dr. Kanter and nurse Trish Graham showed more than just extra care, they showed compassion, love, and empathy. I felt supported, valued, and most importantly humanized throughout my whole journey, which was not an easy road. I was never a number or just another patient, I was a whole person in there eyes with dreams, aspirations, and a story. Despite my tough road, they never let me lose hope and ultimately it’s led to the greatest blessings of my life.Trish and Dr. Kanter truly went above and beyond any providers I have ever had. I will always be forever grateful for their life changing and exceptional care. They are truly the best of the best!
I have only great things to say about Shady Grove. I love their staff. Shanon P is awesome with me. She takes her time and she listens. I don’t like needles but she puts me at ease everytime. Sharon always has a big smile and wonderful energy.Thank you Sharon P for all you do. Thanks Shady Grove all of you!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed working with Racheal Huff under the care of Dr. Namnoum, she was always super helpful, responsive, and kind. Whenever I had a question she would respond quickly with answers to my questions. She made my experience that much smoother, and I really appreciated her professionalism and how warm she was!
We had a fantastic experience with Dr Katler and the team at Shady Grove. Dr Katler and his nurse Teena took thoughtful care of us throughout the IVF process, helping me feel very supported through each step of the process. They also have a great support team (front desk staff, nursing staff, ultrasound techs, etc.) who were always pleasant, supportive, and efficient. We were lucky to be successful with one round of IVF (one retrieval, one transfer) and are excited to welcome our SGF baby in January 2025.Note: We had a few challenges with their financial team, but were able to work through them.
I had my second egg retrieval this week and the team at SGF Sandy Springs was amazing as always. Nurses Karen & Katie are amazing! I’ve cried and laughed with both of them. Dr. Namnoum did my retrieval this round and surgery went smoothly. And my amazing nurse Lexi made it a point to come see me before retrieval. This team is top notch. I can’t speak highly enough about SGF Atlanta.
We’ve been very impressed with everything about SGF so far! Had my egg retrieval today and our care team was wonderful! Katie and Karen were my pre and post op nurses and they were amazing! But everyone we interacted with start to finish was wonderful. Highly recommend them!
Amy is always great every appointment I have. She is warm, gentle, and caring. An all around great individual and Im thankful for her. Ariel is a shining light as well. Shes skilled at her job and always has a smile on her face. Overall everyone is always friendly and very helpful. Ive only had the best experience at Shady Grove.
We were referred to SGF for our treatment and our Coordinator was Kristen. She was awesome, she always made sure to answer all of our questions and her response time was always fast. It’s been a pleasure working with SGF so far.
Words can not describe the amount of gratitude I have for this office. Each department has such special people.Dr. Kanter has been incredibly helpful and passionate during our process at SGF. She is very flexible and wants to ensure that I, and my husband, were comfortable with any decisions made. She altered my protocol a couple of times and explained very well as to why & we saw a huge increase in success. I’m so thankful for her knowledge.Katie H. has been my Pre/post-op nurse for both egg retrievals. I don’t have the words to describe how much of an impact she has had to me. She radiates positivity and passion. She is the type of nurse you need, regardless of what the looks like per visit. She validated my feelings ample times, made me feel safe, and also was my cheerleader. Words can not express how thankful I am to have had her for both of my procedures.Every single lady I have encountered getting labs drawn and ultrasounds have been so sweet and welcoming on those early mornings. I’d like to personally point out Rebecca for reassuring me and taking the time out to make me feel secure.I am so grateful for this office and everyone there. I strongly feel they will bring me to my rainbow baby soon. 🤍
I will start this review with the fact that I love all the staff at SGF and am so glad we chose this clinic after a not so great experience at a different clinic in FL. However, I wanted to call out some rockstars at the Atlanta office.Sharon is wonderful for every blood draw. There is an instant sigh of relief that I feel every time I see her working! For monitoring appointments, every ultrasound tech is fabulous, but Rebecca is one of my favorites. She explained everything she saw on the ultrasounds and provided encouragement for the next steps.Dr. Libby is the best and always has my best interest in mind. She is so detailed in her explanations and answers every question we’ve ever had.Lastly, during my egg retrieval for IVF, we had Katie as our nurse. She was extremely calming from the start and welcomed my husband’s humor (which is really saying something!!). She checked on me multiple times and explained the process with great detail, so we wouldn’t be so anxious. She has a wonderful bedside manner and I wish everyone could have her in their corner because of her positive attitude cheering us along throughout this process. So grateful we chose Shady Grove!
While my SGF medical doctor and nurse are lovely, my initial experiences with customer service at SGF here in Atlanta were challenging, and left quite a bit to be desired. There were several occasions where I’ve regretted using SGF due to the stresses of those customer facing service challenges. BUT then there are little gems like Ms. Sharon P. She is amazing, she always makes you feel welcome, and makes blood draws a little less intimidating. I truly appreciate seeing her smiling face when I come in for monitoring.
Always so warm and friendly. The waiting rooms have inclusive and diverse representations of Women. It is a small touch that means so much to me as a Black Woman especially considering the Black Maternity statistics nationwide but especially here in Georgia.Tonya E, the receptionist, is always so kind and greets everyone with a big smile!
I am giving SGF 5 stars because I was blessed with a beautiful, miracle baby in 2023. I would give SGF 1 star for the way I was treated when I told my doctor that I was not ready to do the transfer the day of my transfer. She told me that I was the only woman ever in the history of SGF to have changed my mind. That may have been true, but why was it necessary to tell me that? A few days later, I received an email from my doctor’s nurse that SGF would not continue treating me unless I provided them with a psychiatric clearance. Why? My doctor knew that I was bipolar because I had voluntarily disclosed that to her when we were reviewing my medical history at the beginning of my IVF journey. In my opinion, my doctor discriminated against me because I had a mental disorder. I had the right to say that I was not ready to do the transfer that day, yet because (according to my doctor) no one had ever done that, I was labeled mentally unfit to continue IVF treatment. As such, I had to give SGF a letter from my psychiatrist stating that I had the mental capacity and understanding to continue. I decided to write this review to encourage other patients with mental disabilities to not disclose that information to SGF if possible.
Nurse Sharen was great! Her warm welcome eased my spirit. She was very prompt and personable. She definitely put a smile on my face!!
My wife and I cannot say enough about the exceptional care, customer service, and great professionalism that we experienced at Shady Grove Fertility. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff. Huge shoutout to our amazing care team. Dr. Libby is exceptional! She is so smart, kind, and honest. Our patient care coordinator, Kristen C, is so sweet and very prompt in sending info and walking me through the first part of the process. Our nurse, Lexi D, is friendly, patient, and thorough. Our journey hasnt been quick, but this team has stuck by us! Cant forget to mention the others who helped us through the journey: Sharon P and Princess W- MAs, Rebecca C- PA, and the surgery center team who made our egg retrieval, from check-in to check-out, a flawless event; Tonya E, Diana CRNA, Ebony H, Karen F, and Katie H. We are forever grateful for their dedication and support on our journey to parenthood!
Dr. Kanter made an already difficult infertility journey so smooth. She along with her clinical team, especially Trish who was our nurse every step of the way, were reassuring and positive the entire time. They answered all of our questions and were easily accessible whenever we needed them. With their help we were able to conceive and I gave birth to a healthy baby. I highly recommend Dr. Kanter and Shady Grove for anyone on their fertility journey and in need of a helping hand.
Racheal Ruff is one of the best Nurse at Shady grove. She is so patient and knowledgeable. She kept us updated with every information regarding our IVF journey. She made everything so easy and simple to follow. She answered my questions so quickly through the portal even during the weekend she will send you any update you needed. After every visit she will make sure to call me to provide me with results and next expectation and also she will put the information in my portal so I can view them whenever I need. Thank you so much for making this journey successful for us.
Dear nurse Racheal Nelson, Words cannot adequately express the depth of my gratitude for your unwavering commitment and perseverance throughout my journey at SGF Atlanta. Your dedication, compassion, and constant support have been a beacon of hope and strength for me.Your genuine care and expertise have been instrumental in this journey, and I truly believe that I could not have made it this far without you.Thank you, Racheal, for being more than just a nurse.
Sharon P was excellent. I’m grateful for her expertise and kindness during my visit. She helped relieve my anxiety and made my procedure a breeze.
I was so nervous about my HSG hearing all the horrible stories about how painful it was. However from the minute I walked in everyone Tonya, Rebecca, Karen, Katie, Mary Claire, and Sharon were amazing!! They all made me feel so much better, comforted me, put my mind at ease. Even sat and talked to me for as long as I needed to feel comfortable. They all answered all my questions took their time with me and checked on me several times after. The HSG procedure was not big deal not painful at all even with a tube blocked. The whole staff is so amazing! So happy to be a patient of SGF!Kristen- Dr. Libby’s nurse was absolutely amazing!! She answered all my questions promptly. If I had to leave a message or voicemail she called me right back and always put my mind at ease! She is fantastic!!!!
It took us several years to have success and have our baby but throughout the process, Lexi & Dr. Libby were great. We had a lot of questions and they always were professional and knowledgeable. They even were collaborative when we wanted to re-do a test, which ended up being a game changer in our journey. Its difficult to stay positive when it comes to fertility but I believe the medical team did their best to help us reach our end goal! Throughout out journey we also got to work with, and had a great experience with Dr. Brahma, Dr. McCarthy-Keith, Dr. Katler, Dr. Gay, and Dr. Kanter. This is the benefit of coming to SGF - you are cared for by the entire facility, not just your one Doctor. The only reason this is not a 5 star is because the financial department could use some improvement - they are sometimes very difficult to get in touch with, which doesnt make for a great experience when youre spending so much money!Lexi & Dr. Libby have become so special to us as they helped us reach our dream of having a baby. All in all, well be back to round out our family!
I had an amazing experience at SGF. The staff is very friendly and responsive to emails/phone calls, which makes me feel that they truly care about my family plan. Trish Graham, RN always replies back to my message within 24 hrs, and takes care of my schedules/appointment in a timely manner. Dr. Kanter is very knowledgeable and was able to figure out a plan for me to build my family. We had our first baby mid this year. Without SGF, we wont be able to achieve our dream! We really appreciate everyone works in SGF that helps us get to where we want to be!
We had a great experience at Shady Grove Fertility and would recommend Dr. Katler to anyone going through infertility. Dr. Katler, Stephanie, and Teena became more than just our medical team. They became our family and helped us stay calm and positive throughout this whole experience.Dr. Katler was always very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. I appreciated that Dr. Katler was able to do our ultrasounds after our transfers. We also enjoyed getting to know the ladies at the front desk. When you visit the clinic often for blood tests and monitoring, these ladies also become your family. They were always so welcoming whether it was 7:00AM during the week or Saturday morning. And at the end of my visits, they were always very sweet to answer any of my questions. Finally we loved getting to know Tonya, the receptionist in the procedure area. She helped calm my husband down when he was nervous about the procedures and was always happy to see us whenever we were there, even if it was just for check ups.We are so happy to have SGF as part of our team and all they did for my family.
Dr.Kanter & Nurse Cara beyond exceeded mine and my husbands expectations! From the first initial appointment Dr.Kanter made us feel comfortable and hopeful that we would get our rainbow baby. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable and friendly which is what you need going into infertility treatment. Nurse Cara went above and beyond throughout the entire process! She was always there to answer my (many) questions, lift me up when I was feeling defeated and made the IVF process a breeze. I’ve never experienced such a personal and caring medical team (I was sad to leave them at graduation!). Happy to share I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with our miracle baby rainbow baby thanks to Dr.Kanter and her team!I also want to shout out my phlebotomist Jasmine who works mostly out of the Alpharetta office. I would travel 40 minutes each way for a simple blood draw because I am so anxious having it done and she made me feel so comfortable and at ease every single time. Amazing at what she does and great bedside manner!Thank you!!!
SGF has been a good experience. Jillian our patient care coordinator has been amazing thus far. She’s prompt with scheduling, and answering questions we’ve had regarding treatment. She is diligent with attempting to get all things in place for you thoroughly, to prepare you before meeting with the Dr. We appreciate you!Tonya, Karen, Susie and Sharon were so pleasant and welcoming, when preparing me for the HSG procedure. The care I’ve received thus far from SGF has really set the tone for amazing patient care. Thank you!
Best experience I have ever had throughout our fertility journey. The doctor we saw at SGF in VA was terrible so we were very skeptical about going through SGF here in GA. However we went with Dr Katler who we absolutely adore and love! Seriously BEST doctor in all aspects. His nurse Stephanie is amazing as well! She is always so helpful and thorough with us. She gives clear and accurate information and always in a timely matter. We would be lost without Steph! Shes a Rockstar!!
Top notch all around. So very grateful for Dr. Brahma and her team. Special appreciation for my main nurse Jacqueline, Katie during my egg retrieval prep and everyone involved in this process. You are most appreciated. THANK YOU!!! TG
The staff is awesome. Katie made us feel so comfortable right from the beginning. She explained everything to us patiently and thoroughly. And dr. Katler is world class. Excellent facility!
It has taken me four years to find the words to describe how my spouse and I were treated here. What began with excitement ended in sadness and disappointment. In 2019, my partner and I embarked on our journey with Shady Grove. We were told my spouse had the eggs of a 20-year-old, even though she was 38 and still very healthy. We went through eight rounds of IUI, starting with Plan A. The nurse who handled our first two rounds was surprised we were still on Plan A, informing us that we should have switched to Plan B with hormones after three attempts. We were unaware and kept paying and trying. When we finally moved to Plan B, my spouse wasnt comfortable with the first shot, so we transitioned to Plan C, IVF.Before proceeding with Plan C, my spouse needed another x-ray with fluid. The nurse was extremely rough, using the wand aggressively and handling it as if driving stick shift, according to my spouse. When inserting the fluid, instead of doing it gently, she rushed it in, causing my spouse to scream in pain. There was no regard, no care, no bedside manner. My spouse couldnt sit or pee comfortably for days and had to take Tylenol for the pain. Our experience was deeply discouraging and disappointing. The doctor only seemed focused on achieving 2 for 1 pregnancies, while we wanted to focus on one at a time. The doctor we hired was never present for our important appointments; it was always someone different. We never received any follow-up calls to check on my spouse. We have a credit with them, which well never use because they failed us so completely. Its taken us time to process our feelings, but every time someone asks if we have kids, we remember what Shady Grove took from us. We will never refer anyone to this place. You stole our opportunity to become mothers. You stole our money, our time, and our dreams. We will never forget how you completely failed us. Eight IUIs on Plan A, and not even an apology.P.S. Its zero stars from us, but I had to give one to post this review.
We love every staff member at Shady Grove. From the receptionist to the lady that takes blood to the doctor and nurses, everyone treats you with such kindness and compassion! This office and staff makes a terrible situation so much better!
Tonya E. at the front desk was great! She was super friendly and helpful from start to finish. Definitely a great person to see and talk to when you enter and leave the facility.
When I say pleased!!! I am completely please with how well the process/egg retrieval has gone. The medical team worked to guarantee we were as comfortable as possible during this procedure. Katie the pre-op nurse and pacu Nurse was amazing. The entire staff Diana,Ebony,Or Nurse Lucy especially Dr.Brama if you are looking for a great clinic this is the one‼️
We have been so fortunate to receive the best care during our time with Dr. Namnoum and her team at SGF. Our nurse, Racheal, was simply the best! I would have been beyond lost without her every step of the way and her guidance and support. Our journey through IVF was lengthy and not without its trials and tribulations as so many face and every step of the way we felt support by Dr. Namnoum and Racheal. We are forever grateful and indebted for our daughter and second miracle due this fall.
We only used Dr. Libby and her team for a brief period of time, but I have nothing but rave reviews for them! Adrienne, her patient care coordinator, was incredibly communicative and helpful. We are so thankful for the team at Shady Grove and the part they have played in our story!
Racheal was were patient with all my questions. She was always available and willing to assist. She made our journey easier and I’m very grateful to her!
I had a great experience at Shady Grove! My nurse Racheal and Dr Namnoum we’re always responsive and caring. I’d definitely recommend them!
SGF has an amazing care team and an even better front desk staff. Courtney, Ingrid and Gail are amazing. Their presence and smiles make such a delicate/emotional visit inviting. Thank you ladies for your professionalism and kindness!
Words can’t explain how professional, exceptional, and educational my wife I and process has been. We left another Fertility clinic and did our research on Shady Grove Fertility, they have been nothing but wonderful, from the entire staff.
Today is my graduation day and it’s bittersweet! Dr. Namnoum and her nurse Racheal have been nothing but the absolute greatest and definitely God sent for my fertility journey. Both are very compassionate, patient, thorough, and just overall amazing! I could not have asked for a better team! Dr. Namnoum sprinkled her infamous “baby dust” and we were blessed with a successful IUI bundle of joy! I highly recommend Shady Grove to any family seeking fertility treatments. All of their staff were kind :)
Today was our first day back to SGF since our last embryo transfer that was unfortunately ended with a miscarriage. Audreaka and Inerid mad us feel welcomed and full of hope for our next steps on our IVF journey. 🌈❤️🥰🙏🏼
We cannot say enough glowing things about Dr. Kanter, Trish, and the entire team at Shady Grove!! Both Sandy Springs and Buckhead clinics were absolutely incredible!!! The care teams promptly return calls, the front office staff were always pleasant and accommodating, the appointments are always on time, the ultrasound techs are caring and kind, and the nurses and doctors all personally checked on us (and our baby!) even after we graduated to our OB/GYN. If you are looking for a care team that will guide you through infertility like you are their family, look no further than Shady Grove!!!
Katie & Karen are the BEST. They’re so patient, kind and professional. It’s always a great experience having these two as my nurse. They provide excellent patient care.
Tonya E. brightened my day! She greeted me warmly at reception, wearing adorable glasses. Her friendly welcome immediately put me at ease before my procedure. From reception to the periop nurse, technician, and nurse practitioners, the staff were all exceptional and professional. They carefully explained each step, making me feel comfortable throughout. The atmosphere was both beautiful and clean.
I have had the pleasure of working with Dr.Libby and Adrienne Kennedy as my patient coordinator. I’ve had an amazing experience. They respond to all questions very quickly and thoroughly explain each process. I can’t recommend them enough!
We love everyone at Shady Grove! Trying to remember everyones names is tough but Teena, Tonya, Audreaka, Sharon, Rebecca, Marie Claire, Fatima, Susie, Dr Katler, Dr Gay, Dr Libby, and more!
My experience with SGF has been great. Dr Namnoum, Racheal, Krystle and the rest of the SGF team have been wonderful. I had my retrieval last week and was extremely impressed with the care shown by Katie pre and post surgery.
I had a great experience at SGF! I was greeted warmly by Ms. Tonya E. at the front desk whose smile immediately put me at ease. So grateful for friendly faces and a talented team who made my experience so pleasant.
I am a current patient at SGF and I’ve had a wonderful experience! Dr. Kanter, all of the nurses, NPs and sonographers have been amazing. I would recommend this practice to anyone
I absolutely love Dreaka and Rachel. They make me feel so comfortable and I honestly feel like I have friends there who are holding my hand through the most difficult times of my life. I’m so grateful for them. They have made this experience enjoyable because I know even if I can’t have a baby, I can have life long friends !
Sharon Phillips is amazing, I wish she worked at every medical office I have to go to! She’s so kind, I really appreciate her helping me feel comfortable.
It is really hard to put into words how much Shady Grove means to us! Dr. Kanter, Cara & Rebecca are the reason we have our little miracle baby! Throughout our IUI/IVF journey, these 3 made us extremely comfortable, explained everything in great detail, cheered us on & truly treated us like family. The communication was top notch which was very important to both me and my husband.Everyone in the Atlanta office was so caring & kind, we couldn’t have had a better experience! I had tears in my eyes leaving our graduation appointment because Dr. Kanter, Cara, Rebecca & everyone else at SGF really touched our lives & single-handedly are the reason we have our precious boy today! We’re forever thankful for SGF Atlanta!
Sharon P. was full of energy. She made me feel comfortable and laugh during my blood draw. Sharon helped put a smile on my face this morning!
Montana Gilbert on Dr. Namnoum’s nurse team is the absolute best. She’s always so communicative, quick to respond, kind and caring. Between her and Dr. Namnoum, my husband and I have had a wonderful experience with SGF over the past 3+ years.
Sharon P. Always has a smile for me when she sees me, and some days its just want I need to get through. I truly appreciate all of the genuine love & support from her and the staff at the Atlanta office.
I can’t say enough great things about SGF. Every person I have interacted with on this journey has been wonderful! Most of my monitoring was done at the Marietta office but all of my consults with Dr. Libby and my procedures were done at Atlanta. The Atlanta office is always bustling but you never feel it as a patient! They are efficient and effective and make sure you’re seen in a timely manner. I don’t think I ever spent more than an hour in the office because they were so quick! SGF has been such a blessing on our journey. It’s bittersweet having graduated from the practice! Cannot recommend them and Dr. Libby enough!
Sharon P is amazing. She is one of the phlebotomists. I try to ask for her to draw my blood. I am a super hard stick with tiny veins and she always gets it on the first try.
The team at SGF has been a blessing to our lives. Our fertility journey, like many others, has been a long path with many barriers. From the office staff all the way to the nurses Ive never been in a more positive and efficient office setting. They are communicative and always helpful with any questions we have. I highly recommend SGF, especially Dr. MK, to anyone looking to grow their family and have a supportive environment for whatever the outcome. We will always be appreciative for the support and care weve received from SGF.
Ebony and Belinda were amazing! Totally put me at ease for such a big day! I wasn’t nervous at all and they made me feel so comfortable :) thank you both!
My team at Shady Grove Fertility, my nurse Racheal and Dr. Namnoum, were the greatest team to ask for as they made sure that my experience was less stressful. They were very helpful and responsive! Thank you to them I have twin girls so to be two!
Awesome experience at Shady Grove Fertility! We were welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. Every staff we encountered were so friendly and explained the process thoroughly. We are so glad we chose Shady Grove Fertility.
We arrived and were immediately and warmly welcomed by Tonya E.She helped us get situated and answered every question my wife had with detail and a smile. I appreciate how helpful she was with us.
I can not say enough good things about things about SGF and my entire care team. Dr. Anne Namnoum and my nurse Racheal Huff provided me and my husband with amazing care during this entire process. We are beyond thankful for them.
If you’re looking for personalized care do not come here. My experience yesterday with testing was awful, my results were not the best and my issues are not with them, but I’m most upset about how I was treated like numbered cattle yesterday.Nothing on the website indicated, we had toPay for parking, fine.Came in for my appointment, sat in the wrong lobby wasn’t told that until some time after. Front desk lady didn’t have enough coffee yet, her words not mine. Went to pay for my husbands procedure first and was told they didn’t take cash. ( I had all the money I needed in cash for all testing.) I thought it was strange because I called and emailed my financial advisor left a voice mail and mentioned I was paying with cash and they never returned my phone call saying they do not accept cash and nothing on the website indicated that. It also says online when your checking in that all payment is required before anything is done. Hence I was prepared with all cash to pay upfront.I was not prepared for what my testing entailed. No communication with office beforehand on what was to be expected or needed. I didn’t feel like I was wearing the right clothes or undergarments. I had no clue what was expected.During my HSG I was comfortable with the nurse and NP and was explained what was going on and while it was going on and my NP was great, kind, and explained everything she was doing.I was given bad news but that was not the issue. Dr. Kanter came into the procedure area told me what needed to happen briefly and mentioned IVF, as I’m crying, she took off I was expecting to be seen afterwards or during, and explained in great detail what the issue was in a private setting not in the procedure room with other clients and nurses around. It was not the right setting to be told bad news. Talking about IVF when I’m told a Major organ need to be removed and I just can do that with my own DR I felt because they couldn’t proceed pumping me up with IVF, IUI, and medication they were done with me. I sat and cried in multiple different waiting rooms being with strangers around while I was shuffled around and no one explained anything to me. One point a nurse saw I was crying and said I’ll give you a minute and went back to taking my blood pressure and measurements.During what I think was a sonogram maybe while was on my screens while they were inside of me. I’m trying to look at the screens and remember numbers, medical terms of what was wrong. She was not explaining what she was looking for just measuring. I didn’t even know the purpose of the testing I was getting done on the last test, because I’m still crying about the results of the first test that no one explained anything to me or what this means for me.I asked when I left still crying if there is anything I can take home with me to read about what was wrong. The front desk said no and said it would be on my portal later.I was given no tangible resources at SGF.I think it’s horrible and disgusting I had to look on TikTok, YouTube, and Google to find out actually what’s going on with me remembering terms as I’m doing my own research and what the road looks for me now because SGF doesn’t care. Youcan’t expect someone to be told all these medical terms while crying to retain any information about what’s wrong with them. You can’t expect someone to be told bad news and not have a private area to talk with your partner on what this means and the next steps.I totally feel like SGF left me in the dark and just kept me moving along while I was distressed because I’m just a number trying to shuffle in more clients with dollar signs. I’m beyond grateful for being diagnosed, I am disgusted on the treatment I received at SGF. I do believe I was just a number above my head with dollar signs at SGF. When I get my surgery done and get back to this step in my life I will be looking into going to a more attentive and compassionate center. If you’re looking for personalized care do not come here.
My appointment was on April 24 I had an amazing experience, Front desk staff was Amazing very friendly & Patient the staff was top tier I had amazing staff that day which was SHANON PHILLIPS, ERIKA.R , MARY CLARIE THANK U Guys for such a great experience I high recommend
The goal is to get you to do IVF ladies. Why? Because thats where the money is. After getting my HSG I was only given the option of IVF. No clomid or letrozole or fertility lube, just expensive IVF. Talk to your obgyn first ladies.
After 2 years of trying, and then getting diagnosed with male factor infertility, we chose to go to SGF Atlanta to see Dr.Brahma. We were referred to the clinic by a friend, and it came highly recommended. We jumped right in and made a consultation appointment. We eagerly awaited this appointment for what seems like forever, but as soon as Dr.Brahma saw us we felt a sense of calm. Dr.Brahma is very educated in this field and makes you feel so comfortable in this huge life decision. She makes you feel like a patient, not just a number and has some of the best bedside manner I’ve had from a doctor. We went through a bunch of ups and downs in our journey, but Dr.Brahma was always one step ahead of us to help us make the best decision. She’s great at what she does and her team is equally incredible. My nurse Jacqueline was there for me regardless of my questions. Jacqueline was amazing at keeping me in the loop and helping me with all my medications, appointments and test results. Other doctors in this practice also care immensely for you, i had a SCH at one point and 2 other doctors came in to check me since Dr.Brahma wasn’t there that moment. I felt incredibly cared for and i really can’t recommend them enough. And to top it off, my first FET was a success. We owe it all to SGF and Dr.Brahma and her team. I highly highly recommend them and will continue to have my babies with them. Thank you so much for changing our life and doing all you can do for my family!!
Sharon P has such a warm and friendly demeanor. A fantastic nurse to interact with first thing in the morning!
Dr. Brahma was a referral from my trusted Obgyn and I must tell you that her reputation is so well earned. She is compassionate and caring at every phase of the process and treats you like an individual that matters. The nurses and staff are also Amazing. They know your name and understand this process isn’t easy. You will feel seen at Shady Grove. Shout out to Jacqueline and Amy who gave me such warm and caring service.I went to another fertility clinic prior to going to Dr. Brahma and the approach and personalization cannot be compared. She is an outstanding practitioner and Shady Grove is a great clinic.
Sharon is the best phlebotomy at Shady Grove. She is always pleasant and sweet.
My experience at SGF was beyond great. The care team and nurses were exceptional at their job. Dr. Katler was outstanding, very knowledgeable, caring and most importantly went above and beyond to make sure that he helped us on our fertility journey. We are very blessed to have graduated from SGF, though sad to leave the great care but happy that our dream came true.Highly recommend Dr. Katler and SGF.
Tonya always has such a good attitude towards everyone that comes in, she puts a smile on my face everytime I see her face. 💕 Were very thankful for SGF and everyone that is a part of our team.
Had 2 analysis done here, first one was an act of congress to get in contact with staff. Phone calls were ignored, messages ignored. Finally got my analysis done and get results. Didn’t hear anything for a couple of months so went to new doctor to help with infertility, later get a call saying they only specialize in infertility (the exact reason I was there.) Started treatment from other specialist and went back a month later for a follow up analysis. Again, phone calls ignored. Had to call corporate to schedule appt. Come to appt and drop off with free analysis document from other specialist. Received a bill for analysis 2 weeks later and to this day have not received any results. Would not recommend this place to anybody.
Very caring, compassionate staff. Thorough in answering questions. Tonya E. was very helpful during my appointment!
Shady Grove is the best. All of the staff is so incredibly nice and caring. Going through IVF, you are at the clinic a ton but I never dreaded going. Everyone there is always ready to support you through your journey. My favorite part is that you have one nurse dedicated to you, so they get to know you personally and are great about being there to answer questions and keep you updated on everything - Lexi, youre amazing. I only wish we wouldve found Shady Grove, Dr. Libby and Lexi sooner.
While I trust and love my doctor at SGF, the communication is ABYSMAL. Actually unbelievably bad. Here are some examples:I’m having surgery with them tomorrow. I have no idea the cost of the surgery. It could be $200. It could be $20,000. I guess I’ll find out after my surgery (just like found out at my saline sonogram that it would be $1400). No one responds to my emails about cost, insurance, etc. My “financial counselor” has only reached out to require payment of invoices IMMEDIATELY, one of which was incorrect by $900. Luckily, they took my call and revised that one, but now I have to be extra certain to review every invoice. When I started IUI, I was given no instructions on how/where to self inject the trigger shot. I went to Google to watch videos on that. When I miscarried, I received absolutely no instructions about the process. Again, I took to Google to find out what was and wasn’t okay to do while I healed.Sadly, I know I’ll be switching doctors even though I LOVE mine because of how absolutely awful the communication is with any staff member outside of direct patient care. I don’t understand how it’s justified to charge tens of thousands of dollars to patients without A. Notifying them of cost and B. Responding to messages within their portal. If I could withstand the staff issues, I’m certain that SGF could help me conceive, but over a year of this GOD AWFUL communication is just my breaking point.
I absolutely love Shady Grove. My experience from start to finish was exceptional. I was nervous before I started because of the reviews, but my experience was positive, and I feel like I really know everyone throughout the office. Yolanda was amazing and so supportive. My pharmacy wasn’t the best, but she ensured I always stayed on track and had everything I needed. I never met Dr. Canter in person, but she was lovely and so sweet. She would call to make sure I understood where I was throughout the process and felt supported. The girls in the lab were terrific too. I had absolutely uncooperative veins, and they made magic happen. The anesthesiologist or nurse anesthesias I had were so amazing. She was so sweet and took care of me. Before she put me to sleep, she looked over at me and said, “Im praying for you and your eggs.” That one statement made me feel so relaxed and peaceful. Dr. Libby was excellent as well. She is beautiful, intelligent, and has a great personality with the best bedside manner. She brought a level of comfort with this process and told me about her experience as well, which was helpful. I will miss seeing this office. They were amazing.
The entire team at SGF is so kind, compassionate & helpful. They are experts at what they do and truly made the emotional process of IVF so much smoother. Dr Brahma & Jacqueline are amazing, as well as every single nurse, doctor, receptionist, administrator that we encountered. Sometimes I had to wait a bit but I never felt rushed in any of my appointments and I know they give the same quality of care to each and every patient.
Some things were okay and some things were less than expected. Dr Brahma is kind and knowledgeable. People who have had more experience with her vouch that she is an excellent physician. Rachael (nurse) is also nice and would always get back to me in a timely manner. Yet, there were about 3 times when she dropped the ball with me on some important aspects of my treatment. This was my first time going though this and I feel like I was expected to know things I had no clue about. Also, none of my labs or any other testing or ultrasound results were ever uploaded to the patient portal. The portal was only used for emails. If I could do it all over again I’m unsure if I would choose this clinic. IVF is ALOT and nothing was really done by them to help ease the stress. Instead, the stress was intensified by some inconsistencies, lack of clarity and sometimes overall lack of professionalism. In my opinion they are costly and I didn’t feel that the cost increased the value of anything. I didn’t have a more seamless experience in light of the dollar amount. However, I would guess the costs are more related to the technology and the embryo labs. I will say that their success rates seem to meet or exceed the national average based on CDC and SART reports for both women using their own eggs as well as women using donor eggs. I think those stats are worth “googling” for any clinic.Dr Gay did my egg retrieval and I would say he did a flawless job as I had no pain or bleeding afterwards.Additionally, I paid $4200 for PGT-A testing and a month later have yet to see a lab report. Update: After phone calls to the nurse and calls to 2 labs and to 2 calls to the billing department and 1 phone call to my financial counselor, I was able to find out my nurse had the PGT-A labs all along. They simply do not release them to you unless you ask. How was one to know?I have requested my complete medical report and that entire process seems just as complex as the one I just mentioned. You must request the record online and they say it takes up to 30 days and a fee of $6.50 however there is nowhere to submit payment. After many phone calls and voicemails, Ms Diana in billing informs me I can call a certain 800 number in 15 days and they will generate an invoice, then once paid records would be sent. How would anyone ever know this?Update: I did get the records and reports requested in a timely manner. Also I was able to speak with my physician about my experience as well as someone, I’m assuming, from their PR department. The only intention is to provide prospective patients insight into my experience. I think the practice has a desire to provide a great experience for their patients, it simply wasn’t the best experience for me.
The team at Shady Grove is so welcoming and the customer service is top notch! I wish all medical services provided the same experience 💙!
Please DO NOT let the negative reviews keep you from coming here! We started our IVF journey in June 2023 after finding out both my tubes were blocked. Dr. Katler is AMAZING along with his nurse Teena, they are both so knowledgeable, kind and really do care about your journey. Teena made me feel like family, every phone call I got from her it wasn’t just about my test results but she would ask about how I was doing during all of this and that meant the world to me that she cared. Thanks to Dr. Katler, I graduated from the fertility clinic today and I am now expecting my first baby after struggling for years to conceive. I can’t recommend this clinic & Dr. Katler enough! Thank you SGF for giving me hope and helping me build my family! Can’t wait to work with this clinic again in the future!
I had very positive experience with this facility. Dr.Namnoum and nurse Montana has been great, Montana always has been very responsive and throughly explained everything. She has been a great nurse(thank you!) and we conceived on our first FET. The ultrasound technicians were all also great, front desk people were always courteous and same with phlebotomists. When I had to do egg retrieval and FET, PACU nurses and procedure nurse has been super nice as well.Overall I recommend this place. Thank you all!
I started with a different location at Shady Grove and ended up transferring to Dr. Jessica Kanter in Atlanta prior to my transfer. What initially, was a very difficult and awkward experience as an employee, became the best possible outcome for me and my family.Dr. Kanter and her Nurse Cara, treated me like family throughout the process. If I had questions or concerns they were available day or night to assist. Trust me, due to my own health issues, this was no walk in the park.Dr. Kanter’s work ethic is unimaginable! Cara’s compassion unmatched.I ended up having just one round of IVF with gender selection, and on our first try, we are pregnant with a healthy baby girl and recently graduated. In the midst of things, it’s hard to remain positive. Dr. Kanter always remained positive and held the light when I felt like I was in the dark in the beginning.Myself, My Husband, Our Older Kiddos & Baby Beyonca will forever be grateful for Dr. Kanter and Cara, THE DREAM TEAM! My super skeptical husband actually got emotional after our last ultrasound ultimately stating he couldn’t believe it worked. I had the pleasure of seeing these miracles every day, but it feels so different when it’s you.I cannot recommend Dr. Kanter & Cara enough 🎉🎉. Amazing JOB Ladies!! I’ll provide updates!
We have been so impressed with Shady Grove (Northside office specially). All the staff is so kind. Dr. Kanter and her nurse Trish are top notch. Communication is great. They are always so accommodating. Never had one bad encounter from testing, to monitoring, to egg retrieval and transfers. We are so thankful for this clinic!
I love this facility and the Ladies who work there! Sharon Phillips is the best phlebotomy tech in the business!
I was very disappointed with my experience. I was told by Dr. Brahma that my AMH levels were very low for my age. I was very confused, saddened, and hopeless, and didn’t get the reassurance or education necessary to move forward. Essentially, I left the conversation with Dr. Brahma thinking that my chances of getting pregnant were next to none. A couple months later, without even trying (and without the goal of wanting to get pregnant), I got pregnant by a guy I was not in a relationship with. While I was absolutely relieved and thankful to find out that I am, in fact, fertile, had I received the proper education from SGF, I would’ve been more careful about having unprotected sex. I feel like SGF uses low AMH levels as a false indicator of fertility and relies on that to encourage women to freeze their eggs or do IVF just to bring money in. Don’t let these doctors fool you into thinking that low AMH=low fertility.
We actually came to Shady Grove from another fertility clinic where we had a less than stellar experience. Happy to say, that was not the case with Shady Grove. I saw some mixed reviews online, but I wanted to express my absolute enthusiasm with both the knowledge and professionalism with Shady Grove. They have an array of specialists that are incredibly well qualified and more than competent at what they do and at no point in our months with this clinic did we feel that we were not in the best of hands. If you are reading this review, I wish you the best in your fertility journey and I could not more strongly endorse Shady Grove.
I was given a referral by my urologist here for testing. I scheduled an appointment. I was then told I could not use their facilities or supplies, nor would they bill insurance. It was drop off only, payment up front. I could not find supplies anywhere, as they are not carried by pharmacies. So why, exactly, would my wife and I consider using them to get pregnant? We absolutely will not because of this experience.
Tonya is the best she brightened up my day to had me laughing through my check in process she is awesome
Dr. Libby at Shady Grove was amazing! I cannot say enough nice things about her. The time and effort she put into our case during every appointment to figure out what was going on and find a solution was above and beyond. My response time from the doctor and her team of nurses was exceptional as well. I would receive a response from a message sent in the portal within hours if not the very next morning and if you called in the morning you got a call back the same day! The offices are very clean, staff was very friendly and we felt safe going here during covid.
Wonderful nurses and doctors!! Couldn’t ask for better care in this process!
Infertility is terrible and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. However, if you must go through it Shady Grove Fertility, Atlanta is the place to be. They helped make a terrible situation so much better. Everyone on staff is wonderful, friendly, supportive and very helpful. The doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and found a treatment that was successful for me. It was definitely not an easy journey but it was nice to never be alone and to know I had such a supportive team behind me and my husband. I am now pregnant and hopeful to not need fertility assistance in the future, however if I do I will without a doubt be returning the SGF.
Shady Grove was the best thing that has happened to my husband and me. The office staff was kind, quick to respond, and made every visit calm and relaxing. I would recommend everyone go! I was a patient of Dr. Namnoum and she is Phenomenal. She listens, is so kind, and is as invested in the process as you are. I recommend everyone go here is they have any questions or need assistance with infertility.
I worked with Dr. Namnoum and she and the Atlanta office were wonderful to work with. Everyone was always so kind and welcoming. I never had to wait too long for my appointments and it was pretty easy to schedule appointment times that worked with my work schedule. After each procedure or blood work Dr. Namnoum or her nurse Racheal were always prompt with calling me that afternoon to let me know my results. I will be forever grateful to the staff at Shady Grove Fertility for helping me and my husband achieve our goal of starting a family. Ive officially graduated from there now, but will miss the staff. Overall I highly recommend considering them for your infertility journey. It can be such a stressful, exhausting and emotional journey and its nice to have such a great doctor and staff to help you through everything.
I started out with ACRM based on my OBs referral and had a terrible experience. Their offices were very cold, staff was hard to get in touch with for questions (when you did they were very short and not very explanatory), the staff didnt explain procedures well, in fact the friendliest staff were reception (Howell Mill office) and bill collectors. My experience here almost made me stop my efforts to start a family. Then a friend convinced me to try another clinic - thats when I found SGF. It was a world of difference. The entire staff was welcoming, supportive, positive; they explained procedures and success rates. Dr. Perloe (sadly retiring) was down to earth and you could sense the passion for bringing families together. I love SGF and would recommend them over and over. Also - theyre super easy to get in touch with for little questions. The support staff are the people you interact with the most during fertility making that experience one of the most important! Now Im so pleased to have my new little one - thank you SGF!
Awful. Waste of time, money, and effort. They are disorganized, unprofessional, and disreputable. They do not answer the phone. They do not return phone calls reliably. And they do not facilitate forward movement when it comes to successfully moving through the fertility process. Once my partner and I realized that we were going no where, we switched agencies; and it was a major hurdle to even get our medical records from Shady Grove. I unequivocally recommend against using their services.
Excellent!!! I can not say enough great things about this office. The front desk staff to the nurses to the ultrasound technicians were just amazing. They were always positive. Now my nurse Crystal just took the cake. It’s obvious that she was working long hours and tired but she allowed me to talk about how I was feeling every time we talked. Just a jewel. My doctor was God sent... Hands down the most genuine doctor I’ve encountered. She gave me sooo much hope throughout this entire process. She is priceless!!! I owe her for helping make a 10 year vision/ dream come true!!! Thank you SGF!!
Michelle has been a great resource from scheduling and any information I’ve needed in between appointments.
I worked with 4 of the incredible Drs at Shady Grove as my husband and I pursued parenthood over the past few years. We are so thankful to SGF for our one month old miracle. Dr. Brahma provided our main care. She always put me at ease and lowered my stress level, not easy to do when dealing with fertility treatments. Dr. McCarthy-Keith happened to be on call for both my retrieval and implantation. She was wonderful, so warm and professional. Of course the professionals I saw most often were the amazing nurses, ultrasound techs, phlebotomists, and front desk staff. They are a wonderful group of people. I could not believe that during the start of covid one of the most stress relieving environments was a Drs office. That is because of the staff like phlebotomist Rebecca, ultrasound techs Monique and Swati, nurse Sarah, front desk staff like Keebler, Jessica, Jashel and Danielle, and office manager Cherie.Thank you all so much for allowing us into the Shared Risk program!
Dr. Brahma is amazing!! From day one, her expertise and positive demeanor made me feel comfortable and confident in our journey. My husband and I are both in our early 40s with fertility challenges so IVF was our best option. Dr. Brahma, her nurse Emily and the staff at SGF were amazing and after two rounds, we had one healthy embryo to transfer and we gave birth to our completely healthy, beautiful baby girl last week!
The entire staff is amazing. Sharon P. is always so helpful and always goes above and beyond.
The staff is so kind and caring! Thank you Dr.Libby, Adrienne, Sharon P and Dr. Mc Carthey-Keith!
I’m having a baby! I’m able to say that because of the help I received from SGF. My husband and I tried for over a year and wasn’t successful, turns out I couldn’t ovulate naturally so SGF set up a plan/journey to help us figure out how my body works and what needed to be done to make a baby. Two IUIs later, super friendly nurses who help you along the way and make you excited when you get good news, and a wonderful doctor that helped my husband and I start a family.. we’re due in March ‘24! If you’re contemplating getting started at a fertility clinic because you’re scared of the steps/outcome, don’t be! Everyone at SGF is super encouraging and they were there every step of the way to help me get pregnant.
My infertility journey started 10 years ago...The team at SGF made me feel like family and that there was no obstacle we couldnt over come...I had alot of questions and they were all met with answers and plans to achieve the ultimate goal. DR. MK was very transparent and we always discussed next steps together. Not sure if they do it with everyone but probably one of best feelings in my life is after I had my 1st ultrasound and when I went to exit the room the whole staff was standing outside clapping...and here we are 2 beautiful babies later
We had 2 failed IUI with Dr libby, and finally the last one we had resulted in a positive pregnancy test. We loved this place, and were scared to come due to the reviews we were reading. everything happened so fast & we grew to love everybody at the front desk, they were happy for us and very involved as well. Were pregnant with a girl & was blessed with a beautiful process. Thanks to Dr.Libby & her team , as well as Dr.Lexi 😁
I was a patient there while they were still GRS and were transitioning into Shady Grove. Dr. Namnoun was so calming, patient, and has great positive energy. She listened to my concerns, did testing that I had researched on, and also tried a different process when my 2nd IVF retrieval was unsuccessful. I noticed changes to procedures as the practice was changing over to Shady Grove, and it was becoming more “standardized” on the process they did to patients, but I was lucky enough that Dr. Namnoun was willing to listen to me and try something different. I had a successful pregnancy at age 40, and delivered a healthy baby boy right before my 41st. I’m so thankful for Dr. Namnoum.
Keep in mind as you read reviews of Shady Grove Fertility that many of them were left before this office was purchased by Shady Grove Fertility. Also, be sure to see all the new accounts they created to hide all their bad reviews on Google - they have bought several offices and the reviews are shockingly terrible. NOW THAT THEY ARE OWNED BY A NATIONAL ORGANIZATION (SGF) THEY ARE NO LONGER A GOOD FERTILITY PLACE. t is no longer a great place but all about the money and bottom line.I had been a patient for many years and was shocked at the changes. In fact at my last appointment I was told that although I had been a patient for many years, if I was not currently doing the one thing they are now doing that they could no longer see me. Even though the entire appointment consisted of telling me that I couldnt be a patient any longer since they only want to focus on one thing -they charged both me and my insurance for an appointment (when no medical care was even given).I emailed them and got a phone call acknowledging they had made a mistake and was told I wouldnt be charged - then received a bill in the mail yesterday and I checked, sure enough they charged my insurance too. Now I have to go report the fraud to my insurance company, but I do want people to know that you need to be very cautious about the advice given now that they are owned by a SHADY national company. Be careful not to be overcharged or asked to do tests and procedures that are not needed. Reviews for the many other fertility clinics theyve bought are all showing the same thing - it takes away the ability of good doctors to stay in control when this happens. If anyone wants to send me a personal message and have me show them records or play recordings before they get involved here, Im happy to do it - I dont want anyone to go through what I did.
No words. Patients are treated like numbers. There is no time taken to look at history or even provide alternatives. The goal is to usher couples for IVF. Get a 2nd opinion with reproductive specialist that actually take the time to empathize, provide alternatives, and make it a collaborative process. It could be the doctor I chose.
SGF Atlanta is AWESOME! From the front desk staff, nurses, lab techs, and doctors their entire team was very professional, friendly, and efficient. The experience was a very good one, and for every test procedure it went smoothly and the staff walked me through the process to ensure I was comfortable and well informed. I am thankful to God for finding SGF through my primary doctor referral. I would highly recommend SGF!
Gail and Audreka were very pleasant and helpful. They made me feel comfortable
I was a patient at the Northside Atlanta location during the pandemic and despite those challenging circumstances I still had a wonderful experience. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, and I felt their genuine care/concern. If I had a question while out of the clinic I always had the opportunity to speak with my nurse via message or phone. Dr. McCarthy-Keith was truly the best. From the very first visit, she made us feel heard and took all of our concerns into consideration and factored our preferences into our treatment plan right away. We were so pleased that modifications to the process could be made to accommodate our personal comfort level. Dr. McCarthy-Keith is not only an excellent medical doctor but also has very good people skills in listening well, showing compassion, and having an overall sensitivity of the highly emotional nature of infertility with all of its ups and downs. She wore multiple hats for us--doctor, encourager, counselor. We are forever grateful to Dr. McCarthy-Keith and the whole team at SGF for making our dream of growing our family a reality. Thank you!!
I should have wrote this review when Dr. Perloe was still working here but I guess I needed to wait to have a clear mind before writing this. He was my doctor at the time and he had the worst bedside manners ever.. barely had any compassion. After my first ultrasound from my embryo implantation, we discovered that there was no heartbeat. What Dr. Perloe did during that exam should have made me decide to no longer work with him but unfortunately at that time it didnt cross my mind to use another doctor. After he told us this was not good during the ultrasound which was all he said, he literally got up and walked out of the room. My husband & I were in shock... we asked each other WTH. The nurse then came back and told me to dress up and to go into his office and thats when he told us there was no heartbeat. This was the weirdest interaction with him ever. His nurse, Yolanda, was pleasant at first but became very frustrating to work with because of her lack of communication. However, I did love working with Jacqueline and the other nurses that would cover for Jacqueline/Yolanda.The billing department was also unorganized and I once got billed for unnecessary charges.. such as storage for frozen embryos. My initial payment to them already included the first 6 months of storage but they charged me again within the same 6 months so I had to get that cleared. I also had PGD testing and they somehow gave the company a wrong mailing address for me so I never got a bill from them. Before I knew it, I received an email stating that it was about to go to collections so I had to reach out to them to see what was going on and settle that.Overall, I wished I would have used either a different doctor or a different clinic, maybe the results could have been different but maybe not. But I will say my stress level was super high enough from dealing with the IVF procedures and then having to deal with this doctor, one of his nurse, and the billing department - this only made it worse.
The staff & Dr. Monica Best for fantastic. They are down to earth, kind, caring, professional, and comforting. I had a few issues with my test & Dr. Best talked me through what was happening, and rubbed my leg to comfort me through the pain. When she sees you, she greets you very warmly, which is a change from some of the Doctors who are not as friendly & welcoming. It is refreshing & I plan on staying with Dr. Best & Shady Grive through my IVF procedure & further care in the future.
I cannot say enough good things about Shady Grove, Dr. Namnoum, and the staff at the Northside location. I was a patient for 1.5 years and I was treated with kindness and compassion every step of the way. It was truly a bittersweet day when I graduated from SGF, pregnant with twins, because I had grown to love the people there so much. Dr. Namnoum and the staff made a really hard process a lot easier with their constant support and care. Thank you SGF for making our dream come true!
Awesome, caring staff! SGF worked with us where we are at and did not push more expensive treatments that werent necessary for us. We met with other fertility doctors in Atlanta and didnt find that same level of care anywhere else. We are now proud, happy parents!
I cant thank the staff enough at Shady Grove. In particular, Dr. Braham who stuck with us all the way. We had gone through 3 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Dr. Braham is compassionate and definitely knows her stuff. We had 1 failed cycle of IVF with no embryos. Our second cycle was very successful with NINE embryos. Who would have thought?? We were successful with our first transfer and now have an almost 2 month old daughter. Emily (RN) was super friendly and very reassuring. I look forward to growing our family some more when were ready.
The experience with Shady Grove has been incredibly upsetting. I am an active duty service member and after waiting months to start treatment with multiple requests to the financial team to submit information to my insurance company I have had to continue to delay my treatment because the financial team is completely unresponsive. I dont think anyone especially women undergoing fertility treatments should be treated this way.
If I could give this clinic 100 stars I would. I was a patient of Dr. Perloe last year, and we had a successful IVF transfer leading us to our son. I had previously been at another fertility clinic in Atlanta that was insanely disorganized and honestly a horrible experience. We switched over to Shady Grove and immediately felt relief. The staff is efficient, kind, and incredibly organized! Everything including my retrieval, transfer, tests, labs, etc was all a good experience and I never waited long in the waiting room at all. Unfortunately Dr. Perloe is now retired, but I’ve heard amazing things about the other doctors there. Also, nurse Yolanda was amazing. Always quick to call me back, answer questions, and calm my nerves. I can’t say enough good things about this practice. We are so grateful for their care in leading us to our rainbow, and changing our perception of what a fertility clinic experience SHOULD be. Thank you SGF!!!!
Not sure who the negative reviewers are referencing. I have had great experiences for the time I’ve been going to SGF. I switched from one doctor who wasn’t as aggressive as I would have liked. Dr. MK was like, “Let’s get to it!” It encouraged me when I was just about to give up. These are expensive services, I’m not sure what people expect. This is a very emotional experience. I wish everyone the best!
Dr. Namnoum and the Shady Grove team have been incredibly supportive, informative and attentive. From intro session to ultrasounds, Dr. Namnoum makes herself available to her patients and always provides clarity while taking the time to answer any questions. Wait times are minimal and daily follow up from a dedicated expert like Rachel after each visit offers peace of mind and real-time answers.
My husband and I started our IVF journey in 2018 when we found out that we were both carriers for Cystic Fibrosis, and I also had a chromosomal translocation that caused me to miscarry at a higher rate than the average woman. With that news, and our past miscarriages, we knew that IVF would be our best path to starting a family. We started our journey with ACRM in Atlanta and then transferred over to Emory when we realized that clinic wasn’t the best fit for us. We did a full cycle at Emory, which was successful, but unfortunately learned after genetic testing of our embryos that none were viable. It was devastating news and we didn’t see a path forward… until we met Dr. Brahma. We transitioned over to SGF in early 2020 and never once looked back. Upon first meeting Dr. Brahma, I felt at peace. She is the loveliest person who I felt truly cared about my health and treatment throughout our entire journey. She reviewed all our past treatments so thoroughly and truly individualized her approach to IVF for me, making changes along the way based on how my body responded. I immediately regained my confidence in the IVF journey and knew I was in the right place. I also had more interaction with my doctor and team at SGF than any other clinic. Dr. Brahma’s nurse, Emily, is incredible and provided the best care and support that I had received at any clinic. She was always available to answer questions, sympathetic and calming to any concerns we had, and someone who I felt was on the journey with us. After a full cycle at SGF (amid the craziness of COVID) we were able to get 2 viable embryos! We implanted our first back in December of 2020 and are now so happy to say that we are 15 weeks pregnant! I will forever remember Dr. Brahma calling my husband and I on Christmas Eve to share the news that we were pregnant. The lab technicians were in the background cheering and celebrating – it was the best moment. I have “graduated” from SGF and am now back with my regular OB but keep in close touch with my SGF family by sending them updates and ultrasounds in the portal. I am so grateful to the entire SGF team, Dr. Brahma, Emily and all the amazing lab techs and staff. I could not recommend this team more. They will forever be close to our heart and have given us the greatest gift.
I am currently pregnant with my first baby because of Shady Grove :) I went for my first consult in November of 2019 and began IVF treatments in 2020. The IVF journey is an emotional rollercoaster but the entire staff at Shady Grove are incredibly kind, helpful and make the whole process much easier. Dr. McCarthy-Keith has the most amazing bed side manner, calls you to check in on you and truly cares about you and your success. She gives you the information you need while giving you options and doesnt push certain opinions or advice on you. She allows you to be a part of the decision making process. I am so thankful that I got to be her patient and I am so thankful that she has helped me get to where I am today. I will forever be grateful to the whole staff at SGF Atlanta.
Sharon and Ruth were the bees knees! Thanks for being awesome!!!
Frustrated with SHADY Grove. My biggest issue is this - after 2 IUI’s, retrieval of eggs, and 2 IVF transfers, our insurance money was out. We had one last embryo and we would have to self pay for the final transfer. We were shocked to find out that we would be paying over twice as much as our insurance company was paying for the same service. We looked at the insurance claims, and the insurance company paid about $2,000 for each transfer. Now that we had to self pay the cost was going to be $4,800. To me this is head scratching, as we are told several times through all the failed attempts from Dr Brahma that they are there for us and go through this with us. I can’t fathom charging someone over twice what you were previously accepting from their insurance company. We had talked to the financial counselor to no avail, and was told that someone from billing would call us, which they never did. We can’t schedule the next transfer until they receive payment, but they don’t return phone calls and can’t provide clarity on the paperwork they require to be signed. Completely sad that as we have worked with them through several failed attempts we seem to be just a number that they need to make twice as much money off of. The nurses have always been helpful in scheduling and following up on any questions. That is the only positive I can state through this year long process with shady grove.
I was unsure of how to select the right fertility office for some time. I had gone to a few places but was immediately aware of how out of place I felt. Yes this kind of challenge will wear on anyone emotionally. When my fiancee and I walked into the office we were immediately greeted and welcomed with open arms. We immediately noticed the staff were all in compliance with current Covid-19 procedures. It was breath taking to be treated like a human being verse just another patient. Shady Grove Fertility offers an environment where you are met with individuals that care to help you along the way. Be prayerful, hopeful and faithful.
I wish I could write a positive review of SGF/previously GRS, but sadly, I cannot. Our experience there was when the practice was switching over, so things were chaotic, and I understand that happens. However, it is not a good experience to feel like no one knows what is going on when you are already going through a scary and expensive process. Our doctor was primarily Perloe, and although he is a nice person, he was not the most informative or patient doctor. I felt rushed during every appointment and usually left frustrated that my questions/concerns were not answered. His nursing staff is great though - especially Yolanda. The practice really pushes IVF (understandably - it is more effective and a money maker), but does not spend much time or care with the other patients. Toward the end of our time there, I felt like more of an annoyance than a valued patient. There are plenty of other fertility doctors in the area, definitely do your research and interview them before diving in and giving your business! If you feel rushed or like you cannot ask questions during the initial appointment, it is not going to get any better down the road. Luckily, we no longer need an RE doctor, but should we in the future, I would not return to this practice given the other choices in the area.
I have been working with GRS since 2015. My Main Doctor is Dr.McCarthy-Keith whom I was referred to by my OBGYN that helped her conceive! Everyone that I have came in contact with is very supportive with preparing for IVF. When my Doctor was out Dr.Perloe assisted another Doctor (Lady/2years ago) with my HSG and they were sooo Awesome to work with as well. If you call after 3pm, it states on the recording your calls will be returned the following day. Nurse Rita is Awesome! There has been times when they contacted me back after those hours to answer my questions or concerns! I have been to ACRM and consulted with a few other IVF institutes but, its not the same as GRS. I have not had any issues with unexpected bills, If you do receive an additional bill... sometimes the labs send you a separate bill from your Dr bills that you will have to pay. My Husband and I are finally Financially ready to move forward in 2018 with procedure by the Grace of God! We are sooo excited ! Good luck to you All! God Bless!2021 Review update! After years of Patience and Working withDr. McCarthy-Keith and the SGF team… I now have a 5 month old Baby Girl!God is So Awesome! My First child at 40 and she is Happy and Healthy!I Thank The Who Staff for being my Biggest Cheerleaders!Don’t Give up! Trust the Process! Baby Dust to You All!
My experience with Dr. Brahma & nurse Jaqueline was wonderful. After having a bad experience & wasting precious time (as you know, time is of the essence when youre older) @ ACRM, I was referred to Dr. Brahma. First and foremost, she is very THOUROUGH! Communication and her kind natured bedside manners really made my experience a good one. So much so, that Ive referred her to my friends and anyone I talk to about my experience thats also looking for a fertility Dr. I currently have 2 friends going thru their processes with her and have also said they really like her kindness and thoroughness. We had to go thru the IVF process twice, and finally got a beautiful baby boy in the 2nd round. We are blessed, elated, and thankful for Dr. Brahma and the staff for making this miracle happen. I highly recommend Dr. Brahma.
Nursing staff and Dr. Libby started out okay. Initial Appointment, Dr. Libby was distracted and appeared to be doing other things. Still, I gave the practice the benefit of the doubt because the other reviews seemed ok. However, I email her nursing staff on July 2nd and still havent heard back. I will be switching practices. I think they are too busy right now to accommodate new patients.
Worst service ever!!! I have been trying to book an appointment. They called at first and told me I had to have a referral. I got a referal, and I have been trying to book an appointment for a month and every time they delay me. It is almost a month now and I cannot book an appointment!
SGF has treated myself and my husband with the best possible care. We are understood and embraced from the ladies at the front desk to the lab team, to the ultrasound team, to the financial coordinators, down to the doctor. Everyone is a pleasure to encounter as infertility is already a touchy subject for most people dealing with it. We feel God lead us to the team of people we needed and are thankful for this experience. We love our SGF- Northside Atlanta location team!!!
Tonya E. Greeted me right away and was lovely to meet. Great job !!!
The love I have for Dr. Stentz and the SGF team is hard to put into words. While I still have a ways to go in my pregnancy, they have given me a baby that I thought I may never have. When I first came to SGF, I had been undergoing fertility treatments for over 9 months at another clinic. Test after test, and 2 retrievals later, we were physically, emotionally and financially drained. We were happy with our former doctors and clinic but were looking to try a new approach. In our first few minutes with Dr. Stentz, we felt a new sense of relief. She empathized with our story, made sure she understood what we had been through emotionally, physically, and medically, and assured us we still had options and HOPE.We qualified for SGF’s Shared Risk program which was the best gift we could have been given at that time. With SGF, we had the option to try, try and try some more to get our baby, and for far less expense. Our journey still wasn’t easy at times, but Dr. Stentz and our nurse were there to comfort us in difficult times and celebrate with us in the best of times. She truly has joy in her heart for her patients, the skills and experience to bring dreams to life.We will be forever grateful to Dr. Stentz and the SGF team.
Shady Grove has NO CLUE. I dropped off a sample and still a week later they have not sent my lab results to my Physician. They ask for the referral 8 times and apparently dont even use it. I have called and left messages everyday for a week, no one has called me back. When I have spoken to someone, they assured me the results would be sent over, after asking for my physician, and information over and over. FOR A WEEK!!! They also have stopped informing new patients that one of there 3 offices have closed. None of their related physicians know this information either, so new patients have no way of knowing that, without showing up to the closed office first. None of the other offices are close to each other, and with a time limit on samples, this is a grave error of information, all at the expense of $150, which they DONT bill to insurance. WHAT KIND OF SCAM IS THIS PLACE RUNNING!!!!!
I started looking at fertility clinics when I was in my mid-30s to look at options for freezing my eggs. I researched multiple fertility clinics, specifically looking at doctors and their bios. I really wanted a female doctor and found myself gravitating to Dr.Pavna Brahma. When I first found her, she was at RBA and after my first consult, I knew I wanted her to be my doctor. Dr.Brahma is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, kind and informative. I came with a list of questions and she graciously answered all of them and even diagrammed parts that were extra complicated. She never made me feel rushed, or stupid and spent the time that was needed to ensure I was comfortable.I went through my first egg retrieval with her, which netted out to one healthy embryo (after blastocyst and PGS testing). As I was going through my second retrieval, I found out Dr.Brahma had left RBA and I was given a different male doctor (Dr.Toledo). I was saddened to hear the news of her departure and nobody would tell me where she went. Dr.Toledo helped me finish out Dr.Brahmas protocol, which resulted in 4 healthy embryos. I ended up doing two transfers with Dr.Toledo, which unfortunately resulted in two failed transfers. Dr.Toledo was not able to give me good guidance on what went wrong or provide a solid plan going forward, so I went looking for a second opinion. Coincidentally, my OBGYN, recommended Dr.Brahma who I found out was at Shady Grove.I got a copy of medical records and went to Shady Grove to visit Dr.Brahma. When she saw us, she immediately embraced us, and was so welcoming, it felt like seeing an old friend. She glanced through our records and was immediately able to pinpoint areas for improvement. We ended up transferring our remaining embryos to Shady Grove and after my first transfer back with Dr.Brahma, I got pregnant. Unfortunately, it didn’t progress beyond 5 weeks because the embryo quality was too low.We continued to work with Dr.Brahma and about 9 months later, I was pregnant again and this time, we made it past 6 weeks, then 8 weeks and eventually graduated from Shady Grove and released to my OBGYN. I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and I know I wouldn’t be here without Dr.Brahma. She was our saving grace. She was always very honest and open with us about our options, supported us throughout and always came to the table with a strong plan. She never let me lose faith and my husband and I firmly believe she is one of the best fertility specialists in the country. We would recommend her to anyone trying to conceive. She has every quality you would want in a doctor: empathetic, smart, well researched, incredible bedside manner, great communicator, thoughtful and thorough. Our journey to parenthood is because of her.
Dr Anne Namnoum and Dr Pavna Brahma are both amazing doctors and both worked hard for this little miracle to happen . They are the thoughtful and understanding. They were there all this while in my journey . Cannot be grateful enough to have them as my doctors. Lots of hugs to Dr Pavna Brahma . She did an amazing job and part of this miracle to happen while I almost gave up . She believed in the process to work . Amazing work sgf Atlanta.
We’ve been with SGF before the two companies merged. While I love Dr. Namnoum for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to give me the very best care at a time when we were too frustrated to carry on— I can’t speak highly of the office as a whole. I’m not sure if it was the merge with SGF, or the standard for all IVF clinics— but we have been nickel and dimed since we walked in the door. Even now, pregnant and no longer receiving care from SGF, we’re still getting bills. Again, Dr. Namnoum was an incredible doctor that we will use again for our next baby— but now we know to pay close attention to every bill that comes in the mail, and dispute charges when we don’t feel like they’re accurate.
When I first started going to SGF I would have given it a 5 star rating, but the quality of service and care has quickly deteriorated. It deteriorated when Dr. Perloe retired. His team was great and quick to respond. Now you are lucky to get a response. Please don’t expect them to work with you either- they could truly care less. If you are financially wealthy and throwing money at them for expensive treatments , they will literally throw you to the side and just get to you whenever. I’m so disappointed.
I wish I had never gone. I originally went to ACRM of Atlanta but they were out of network so the doctor at ACRM recommended Shady Grove, Dr. Namnoum. Although I did like my doctor at Shady Grove, the nursing assistant I didnt care for. She would say she will do something or send me something that I wouldnt get, so I would have to call to make sure it was done. I went there for treatment twice for April and May of 2018. We were not successful so I gave myself a break from this and plus I honestly wanted to go back to ACRM, you could just tell they were better based on the initial consultation I had with them (they provided soo much more information and details, they were on it). Just recently, in November 2019, Shady Grove sent me a bill citing I had storage with them from May 2018 and charged me for that month then skipped to November and December 2019 with monthly charges added. When I called them, they said Oh no, we dont show you have any storage with us, we will delete the account that we was charging you. How are you sending bills out to people but your system doesnt even back it up plus its been over a year and a half. The only reason they are getting a two star is because I did really like the doctor.
We will forever be grateful to Dr. Namnoum and the staff at SGF Northside for helping us to start our family. Now the proud parents of an 8-month-old, we are looking forward to working with SGF again soon to give our girl a sibling.Going through infertility treatments is a crazy mess of emotions. Luckily, the staff at SGF Northside was incredibly kind and supportive throughout our entire journey. Everyone I encountered through 3 IUIs and a round of IVF seemed to be genuinely invested in the outcome. Those that left a lasting impression were Dr. Perloe, Dr. Stentz, Teena, Swati, Marty, and Jessica. But most of all, Dr. Anne Namnoum. I can’t say enough about her kindness, calming nature, and positivity. She is THE BEST, and I feel lucky to have found her.
Dr. Brahma and her whole team are amazingly detail-oriented, thorough, and caring. I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone finding themselves in need of Shady Groves services. She is worth any wait you might have to get in and see her!
Very friendly and caring staff! Went through IUI and got pregnant on the 3rd round and now we have our sweet 7 month old baby girl! Thank you for all y’all do and for being so understanding and supportive. My wife and I are happy and will be coming back again to try for another baby.
The facility and staff are very friendly and are quick to respond if you should have a question. We are in a unique situation in which we have not been able to conceive due to peri menopause. My regular OB recommended this place because they could get my hormones in check so we could become pregnant. The only solution I was given was to be put on birth control, which I did, to stop the bleeding. It worked for about two weeks so I could do all the testing and then I started break through bleeding that lasted three and half weeks. I was told she had never seen this before and did not know what to do. I also did not get a referral to someone who had more expertise in this area. Basically, I was told to find someone else to help me and then come back once my issues have been resolved and if we wanted to do the egg donation process. I really feel it was unethical not to refer a patient if you do not have the expertise to help them. This place should be able to handle these types of situations and I was shocked that a fertility clinic could not help us. I really wanted this place to work because of how personable the staff is, but just could not resolve my medical issue in order for us to even start the process.
I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child by SGF. Dr. MK is the reason for my 2 babies. The nursing staff is great and despite Covid there was little wait at appointments. I am thankful I was referred to SGF and highly recommend Dr. MK.
SGF is amazing! Dr. McCarthy Keith was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable, and always comforted us. I highly recommend SGF! The front office staff & nurses knew us by name and were excellent!
Ms. Sharon Phillips is the best, she is friendly, polite and very respectful.
Dr. Namnoum, Dr. McCarthy- Keith and Dr. Perloe are amazing! Theyre truly a team here at Shady Grove and work together you would never know you are assigned to one specific doctor. Our experience was successful on the first IUI treatment done by Dr. McCarthy-Keith. Dr. Namnoum was our assigned doctor--she talked us through all of our options including bloodwork and labs. Her energy is so calm and relaxing yet very confident in her ability to help us conceive. She believes in the energy that crystals bring so we used rose quartz and carnelian--one of each ovary when we did our insemination. My partner and I used the crystals through our whole experience and we carried them with us the entire time. And to find a doctor who shares this is priceless! Dr. Perloes accuracy is unreal-- he did our last ultrasound before the getting the go ahead to inseminate. Using fertility medication can be very scary, skeptical and expensive but Im glad we finally took the leap into it. We will surely be using them again for baby number 2 and by the way our baby was born in July healthly as she can be! Thank you so much guys for loving what you do and helping make our family possible!
They love to take your money there. Dr.Namnoum there is a lady of few words. I feel she can explain better. I felt like it was my advisor there who was my doctor. They tell you your you can look up your labwork online but that is not true - they do not release it. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing there. my MA Oh, I have not posted those labs online. I didnt know that you were interested in those numbers. But noone tells you that you have to ask for release!!! You have to advocate for yourself there.I was very disappointed on my egg retrieval day. You receive sedation so you are still in a little bit of a daze when you wake up. They tell you some things - you remember some and not others. The doctor tells you the MA will explain to you want to do and the doctor leaves. Then the MA does not explain much to you. I had a choice of doing Frozen egg implantation vs fresh egg implantation - I had to decide by the evening as I had to start progesterone injections if I wanted to do fresh. I called them in the afternoon and they didnt know anything about it. I asked what I was supposed to do - the on call RN did not know, I waited for her to call me back which she never did. Apparently she called Dr.Namnoum, who tole her MA explained to me how to prepare for fresh implantation. After waiting awhile I called the on call line again and the RN updated me with that info - that apparently the MA gave me instructions. She never did that!!!!! I was running out of time, the clock was ticking and Namnoum could not be bothered to give a few simple instructions!!!!! She was not so busy taking my thousands of dollars. I almost missed my window and the pharmacy ladies were nice enough to stay after hours to fill my last minute Rx because they themselves have gone through the same and they understood my position.Several days later when I went for my implantation all Namnoum said was Oh, I thought the MA told you.
I had a wonderful experience with SGF. Dr. McCarthy-Keith and her team were very helpful, informative, caring, and supportive. The entire office of techs and nurses that I came across were wonderful as well. Clean facility!!
Dr. MK was amazing! She was very supportive the whole way and explained the process. We were fortunate enough to get pregnant on our first FET. The nurses were also supportive and always willing to answer any questions.
Dr. Brahma (and all the staff) were amazing to work with. Were grateful for their care and expertise! With her help & guidance, we just delivered our healthy baby boy. Thank you for your gentle manner, thorough services, and top-notch bedside manner, Dr. Brahma!
The Best Doctor ever!! My IVF was a success on the first try. I had a 20% chance and she stuck by me now Im 35 weeks prego. She is a great person all around. Truly a Blessing!!!
My wife and I have been trying to conceive for over 5 years. After 2 failed attempts with IVF, I felt highly discouraged and was giving up hope. We had tried the first couple times at another fertility clinic. After a recommendation from a close family friend, we decided to have a consultation with Dr. Best. I went into the consultation very skeptical. The previous fertility clinic we tried were very unprofessional and was only concerned with taking our money. IVF is VERY stressful and this other clinic was not helpful at all with information, insurance and at times rude to my wife because she was asking many questions. Dr. Best and her entire staff was the complete opposite. They all were very caring and extremely helpful with any questions we had. Dr. Best and her staff did not treat us like just another patient and a number. They pretty much treated us like a member of their own family. After 5 years and 2 failed IVF attempts at another clinic, we now have a healthy and beautiful baby girl. We are so blessed that God had led us to Dr. Best. I cannot guarantee results but what I can guarantee is that you will receive nothing but caring professionalism from Dr. Best and her staff. If you are going through infertility, do not give up and get a consultation from Dr. Best. She truly lives up to her name. She is the BEST.Cliff and Chansun Lee
I cant recommend Shady Grove enough. The entire staff and Dr. Namnoum were so caring and kind as I navigated a very difficult infertility issue. I am now a mom to a very healthy and happy baby girl and I know Shady Grove helped make my miracle possible.
My experience with Shady Grove was always positive. Not a long wait time and friendly staff. Dr. Namnoum was very nice and experienced. I’m now pregnant because of their help!
Tonya E. Was very friendly at check-in and made the process easy.
Dr. Perloe and his amazing team helped make our wish for a family come true. From the beginning, our IVF journey was wonderful. We felt at home at GRS and enjoyed our visits. Everyone was so encouraging, positive, and always cheering us on through each stage of our IVF journey. We couldnt have chosen a better doctor and establishment. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Perloe and his team. They are a huge part of our baby journey and hold a special place in our hearts. We look forward to visiting Dr. Perloe and GRS with are sweet bundle of joy at the end of the year.
Sharon Phillips was great. Super quick & thorough.
Tonya is great! Excellent customer service!
Being from out of town for business, I called this Shady Grove Fertility location for blood work to measure my HCG level after my IVF transfer. This office said no!!! To them that is not monitoring! Ladies who are from out of town, outpatient monitoring for this Atlanta SGF means before egg retrieval. This is so backwards. I’ve had outpatient monitoring at other fertility clinics in other US cities after transfer to measure my HCG. I have never had this problem with SGF in another major city in the northeast. Horrible policy and attitude!
Have been blown away by the kindness and professionalism Shady Grove has given us. They have worked around our timeline and have even fit me in the same day! We have recommended to all of our friends struggling with infertility.
The absolute worst to get ahold of. I waited half a year just to get a virtual appointment and an average of 4 months for anything else. Every time I’ve tried to call them, I never speak to an actual person. I’ve left countless of messages for their front desk, medical records, etc and have rarely received a call back. My friend is using them as well and having the same issues. I call on the days and hours they say they are open and they never answer the phone or will return a message maybe 1/10 times trying to call. I’ve even left messages on their portal and haven’t gotten a response. All I’m trying to do at this point is obtain my records and this has been a headache. I would not recommend this facility at all. I’ve also faxed a medical release form to the number provided a couple of times and about 6 months later they’ve still never emailed them.
Excellent attention Katie was very kind, thank you for everything..
Complete scam, they take your money and pray on the hopes and dreams of people. They tell you one price and then months later you get billed from a 3ed party that is 2-3 times more than the Doctor visit was.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, YOU WILL REGRET IT 100000% when you get some ridiculous bills from blood work 3 months later! Had they been upfront about the cost it would have been no big deal, but they are not upfront, they dont tell you the real cost even when you ask them right at the office while paying your bills
Though I will say the staff and Dr. McKarthy-Keith were very supportive and personable, this whole thing is a money grab. They pray on the hopes and dreams of those unfortunate enough to be able to do it the old fashioned way. Every turn there is an additional fee. We were told we were paying a global fee to exhaust all remaining embryos, only to be told 9 months later that the fee only covered 3 months!! Ridiculous, after the disappointment and emotional strain of not having a successful pregnancy many couples need not only a physical break but a mental break. Now, they want another few thousand buck to try it again...So disappointed in the deceptive nature of this process that is starting to make me feel like the genuine hope for success is tempered by a hope that we can get one more payment out of them....Truly disappointing.
At the end of Jan 2013 it will have been 1 year since my IVF cycle. I cant believe it has been that long already. Dr. Perloe didnt give up on me, when every fertility Dr. I saw in Atlanta said donor eggs! He was determined to help me concieve using my own eggs! I now have Twin girls that will be 4 months old tomorrow because of him! The entire staff of GRS was so personable and supportive. In the beginning, my tests showed that my tubes were blocked, my AMH was Very low for my age, and I essentially couldnt even dream of having my own kids. Then I started my IVF cycle and Dr. Perloe stayed positive, telling me he just needed One good embryo! I ended up with 4 good embryos. After delivering Twin girls in Sept. 2012, I still have 1 remaining good embryo in storage for my next baby in a few years! None of this would be possible without Dr. Perloe! Everytime my little girls smile at me, I thank God for Dr. Perloe!
The service during my appointment was fast and comfortable. The records release department however not so much. Their responsiveness is slim to none. Admin and the clerical department was able to resolve my concerns.
I had a great experience with SGF ATLANTA. DR McCarthy Keith is very friendly with the patient and explains all the steps very clearly. All the staffs are very friendly. I would recommend SGF.
This facility rarely answers their phone and NEVER returns calls. I’ve left several messages for weeks that have never been responded to. I am supposed to go in for testing prior to my appointment, and no appointment has been scheduled for weeks. Horrible customer service and business practices.
Not recommended. Don’t waste your time and money.
This is the biggest scam in fertility clinics out there. They just want money for stuff that they dont even have the track record to back up. They never answer the phone and if you leave them a message they never call you back
Absolutely terrible. Called multiple times but no answer. Finally get an answer, and they’re totally booked up for the next several says. Two of their three locations are closed on Fridays, because why not. I have to accommodate them, not the other way around.
Careless staffing, no friendly staffing at ALL. One of the ladies on the desk looked very tired or careless when I asked her more information about a paper I had to bring to the facility and the other receptionist was on the phone (personal phone call ignoring the patients). This is ashamed. No very happy about this staffing.

Tonya at the front desk was awesome!
GRS was like a family to me. Every since Shady Fertility took over , it’s been real shady. The staff isn’t personable & doesn’t care.
This by far is the best experience ever!! I love Dr.Mcarthy and her entire staff. Thank you so much for always being so responsive and always on top of things❤️
THE DOCTORS & NURSES DID A GOOD JOB. MY ISSUES WAS WITH EVERYTHING ELSE. WORST EXPERIENCE!! WHERE DO I BEGIN.... OK, I DECIDED TO TRANSFER TO A NEW CLINIC AND MEDICAL RECORD CLERK TONYA CALLED TO INFORM THERE WAS A $37 FEE FOR MEDICAL RECORDS TO BE SENT TO ANOTHER CLINIC. MY JOB IS ROI & I HAVE A DEGREE IN HEALTH INFO TECH & ITS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT WHEN TRANSFERRING CARE THE PATIENT IS NOT SUPPOSE TO PAY FOR THEIR RECORDS BUT NOT AT SGF-ATLANTA!! ITS SAD THEY TRY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PATIENTS. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY HERE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. CHECKOUT ASPIRE FERTILITY; THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS.ANOTHER BAD EXPERIENCE I HAD WAS LAST YEAR WHEN I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF TREATMENT. HAD TO COME INTO THE OFFICE OF A SUNDAY FOR LABS ETC... & WHEN I WAS CHECKING OUT I MADE SMALL TALK TO THE FRONT DESK CLERK & SHE TOLD ME HAVING KIDS WAS OVER RATED!? I WAS IN DISBELIEF WHAT JUST CAME OUT HER MOUTH.. I GUESS ITS OVER RATED FOR HER. THE FRONT DESK STAFF ISNT TRAIN WELL. AGAIN I WOULDNT WASTE MY TIME AT THIS CLINIC.
Ms. Tonya E was amazing
Lack of organization. Unclear communication. Very irritating to deal with. This business could be so much better. I am guessing business must be good, as they could not care less about customer service. They don’t even try.
JESSICA, the front office lead is a DISSERVICE to the entire practice as a whole. She is extremely rude and does not add to value of the practice at all.
Front desk lady has horrible customer service. I get that with the whole pandemic going on it can get stressful but that’s not a reason to treat paying customers bad. Don’t know why she has the position she has if she doesn’t enjoy working with customers.
I can’t say enough about DR Perloe!! His whole team got us pregnant when after 9 yrs other companies just wanted a check!
Very nice people in person but why is it so difficult to get someone on the phone? Incredibly frustrating.
Had an referral to this clinic after several attempts to make an appointment with no call back We decided to find another clinic. We left messages without a single call back
Sharon Phillips was a pleasure
This is the best practice for IVF. Such a good experience.
