I was referred to Dr. Libby by my obgyn. Dr. Libby carefully reviewed my case and started to help me with my journey 1 year back. I was put on all the blood work, gave medications to meet the criteria, repeated my blood work, did my mock cycles couple of times to make sure everything is rightly done. After almost 10 months, finally the time came where Dr. Libby transferred the embryo which ended up in successful pregnancy. I am almost 3 months now. Dr. Libby is very thorough in her work. She always makes sure she under promises and over delivers. More than I felt her as my doctor, she always made me feel as my friend with whom I could openly share my concerns. Dr. Libby is never hesitant to learn from her patients too. She is a down to earth person and simply loved working with her. And I am so grateful to her for making our journey bundled with job :) God bless Dr. Libby and long life so many others can get help like me.

Starting my fertility journey was probably the last thing I wanted to be doing. We had been trying for almost 3 years and seeing an infertility specialist seemed very overwhelming and disheartening. Dr. Libby completely changed my mindset and outlook from the second I met her. She made this entire process as enjoyable as possible and offered endless encouragement and support. Graduating from her practice was actually bittersweet because I loved working with her so much. I cannot recommend Dr. Libby and SGF enough to others who are struggling with infertility. They have been the biggest blessing to my husband and me.

This is going to be a long one so buckle up. I don’t normally write negative reviews for the sake of a business but this has been on my heart for so so long and I just feel led to share my story.Last spring, my husband was referred by his urologist to Dr. Libby at shady grove due to some fertility related concerns we had and wanted to get checked out. While we were there we also made an apt with Dr. Libby to see if we would be a candidate for ivf if that was the route we had to go. Unfortunately with my husbands case, Ivf was our only option. During that consult she stated his sperm analysis looked great but she wanted him to come back for a second analysis to just double check his numbers but everything looked great and ivf would work best for us. During that consult she stated how she would absolutely recommend genetic testing on our embryos… both of us were new to this and didn’t really understand so we agreed. She stated while we were there she would also get the genetic testing screening bloodwork to see if we shared any of the same genetic abnormalities… again we had no idea what all this would entail, we just took her word for this and agreed. I asked if insurance covered, she stated oh yes it mostly always covers. We both agreed, I was scared if we didn’t have this done, it would just feel like a step we didn’t take and wanted to take her word since she’s the doctor and it’s what she recommended. Boy was I wrong. We are now stuck with 1000’s of dollars from natera that we owe since we got this done. YOU DO NOT NEED THIS DONE.Second, whenever I go to the doctor I get so anxious and nervous. Especially with IVF because who wouldn’t with something this huge? It was all new to us and I didn’t know what to expect. Each time I went, my blood pressure readings would be sky high. Dr.Libby told her coordinator Adrienne (who was super nice and there for you always) told me I needed to see a pcp per Dr. Libby or I couldn’t be seen. As if I wasn’t anxious about this enough, I made an apt with my pcp to get it check out. My doctor noticed my readings at home and did NOT want to put me on medication since that can be dangerous to take if you don’t have high bp! She noted all of her notes in my chart, I sent these notes to Dr. Libby per her request so she knew I was seen and it was in fact ANXIETY. This was STILL not enough for Dr. Libby and she then requested me to get a second opinion, and referred me to her doctor. I assume because she knew he would have a different opinion and put me on medicine? I’m not sure.Due to my husbands condition he had to have a procedure done at Emory. I thought well while we’re here, let’s get a second opinion about doing IVF here. That was the best decision we ever did and I know God led us there. Had my husband not needed that procedure, we would still probably be lost and not know where to turn. Upon meeting our new doctor, she did not recommend genetic testing due to mine & my husbands age. I was 29, he was 36. And that sometimes testing can harm your embryos than do good. We agreed. I remember doing our follow up with Dr. Libby and she was giving me these percentages on our chances working the first time. The first time it was a 50% chance. My egg count was low, I had 8 eggs one month when I did my saline us. I wasn’t informed that changed monthly because when I officially started I had 14. Scared to death I would only have 8. She also didn’t turn me away with my blood pressure readings since they were actually normal when I would see her. I could NOT imagine my husband going through his procedure, us returning to shady grove for me to start my ivf cycle and be told to go home if my blood pressure was over 140/90. I understand the reasoning of having a safe blood pressure, but for me to see my pcp to get checked, the fact that wasn’t enough speaks volumes. And you know what happened on our first cycle? We got pregnant.I saw all of this to say, if you’re not clicking with your doctor do not be afraid to get a second opinion.

Dr. Libby is kind and supportive and made us feel like the choices we were making were the choices shed make for her own body. Ive never had such a wonderful experience with a medical office. They are accessible, they are thorough and they treated us with compassion.

Dr. Libby is kind, personable, smart in her field, and thanks to her, we have a successful pregnancy. It was not a fast journey and certainly had challenges, but she persisted and encouraged us when we were discouraged, and creatively changed our protocol around until our embryo implanted and began to grow and thrive! We are so thankful for Dr. Libby, her nurse Lexi, all the staff at SGF, and the programs they offer.

Dr. Libby was our lead physician at Shady Grove. She made us feel at ease, and most of all hopeful when we did our consultation. We initially had to wait several months before there was even availability for a video consult, since we started our journey during the height of the pandemic. Not only was Dr. Libby very knowledgeable, but we felt a genuine sense connection and happiness from her for every hurdle we cleared and any time she had good news to share. After several months, we graduated from the program, and all of us could not be happier. We were in good hands the entire time, and compared to our experience with our previous provider, the difference could not be more night and day.At the last clinic we visited (a VERY highly rated fertility clinic in the Johns Creek area), we had extremely limited contact with the lead physician, meeting and talking mostly to just admin staff and some nurses and assistants. Overall, a frustrating experience, both in the outcome and in how our care was handled Dr. Libby, on the other hand, made it a point to personally administer and oversee some very key procedures herself, including an embryo transfer and one of our early ultrasounds. She has a real love of what she does and it comes through in the way we were treated.

Having come from a OBGYN who would not listen to my concerns…. Coming to shady grove was the biggest blessing. Me and my husband went through two miscarriages back to back- came to shady grove and faced a few obstacles along the way, but in the end got our rainbow baby! Dr. Libby was very thorough in my care. She has such compassion for her patients and is very knowledgeable in her field. We underwent Ovulation induction and I am so thankful for the care me and my husband received at this facility. Without Dr.Libby’s treatment plan I am not too sure we would have the blessing of carrying our sweet baby right now.Another person who made my journey so memorable is the PA Rebecca. I have truly never met someone so good and compassionate at there job. She shed tears with me through the hard times and was there for me every step of the way answering any and all questions I had. She cares for her patients and their journey unlike any other. The staff at the meridian mark location truly are all so sweet.I will forever be thankful for this practice.

Dr. Libby is the BEST. She made a difficult process as easy as possible and was always honest, upfront and personable. She created a plan of action for us that was manageable and understandable. She tolerated all of our incessant questioning and she truly puts her patients first. I really couldn’t imagine going through this with a better, more capable doctor. She is amazing!

Dr. Libby was incredible in supporting us through the IVF process. We had a lot of ups and downs and she was thoughtful about coming up with the best treatment plan for us. We just gave birth to our first baby in June who came to us through IVF! Would strongly recommend Dr. Libby and the whole Shady Grove team.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Libby. When my husband and I came to her, we had a previous bad experience with another local fertility clinic. So our expectations were low but Dr. Libby exceeded them time and time again. She crafted a custom treatment plan based on our previous treatment and test results, but also listened to us and was willing to pivot when we wanted to change our course of treatment. She also found and treated issues that were likely involved in our fertility journey that our other clinic never addressed. When Dr. Libby called to tell us that we were pregnant, she cried in joy with us. Going through infertility is hard, but having a doctor that you trust and is invested in your treatment success is so valuable. If youre struggling with infertility, go see Dr. Libby, you will be in the best hands!

Dr Libby has been a pleasure to work with during my IVF journey at Shady Grove Fertility. Besides being an amazing Dr, she’s also been a great support system through my numerous fibroid surgeries. She helped me find a great surgeon to take out my 50 fibroids…yes 50!After all my fibroids were taken out Dr Libby gave me the thumbs up to proceed with my first IVF with her. At age 40, I did IVF and I’m happy to say it worked the first time and I’m pregnant with my very first baby! And it’s all because of Dr Libby’s expertise. Thank you!Esther A

Dr. Libby and all the staff at SGF Atlanta are incredibly supportive and communicative. We used SGF shared risk program to do embryo donation and the ease we had being able to move on for multiple tries without having to figure out financing each time was exactly what we needed.

From the bottom of my heart my husband and I really loved Dr. Libby, she truly helped our dreams come true by helping us get pregnant with our sweet angel whom is now 2months old, happy & healthy. She listened to our every concern & communicated with us when we needed it, never making us feel pushed to the side or that she was to busy to be there for us. Dr. Libby made sure we felt comfortable in every aspect of our experience with fertility, and I am so grateful for that. When we started our journey we were nervous and so hopeful that we would be able to start a family, we truly feel that God put us as her patient because she was everything we prayed for as our physician. Her nurse Quiana was absolutely amazing also with helping us along the way and we couldn’t be more grateful to her as well. They were both so kind and committed to us. I feel like Quiana became a friend to us and we could message/call anytime. we would give them both 5 stars or as many stars as we could give them both and would recommend them both to anyone looking to begin the journey of starting there family. Theywere truly wonderful

Wow, Dr. Libby was just amazing. We had a long journey and she was right there with us in the trenches. She was our third fertility doctor. She thought outside the box, was willing to try new things, was open to our questions, and used her team to help us. She is kind, and truly listens to you and our partners needs and concerns.
