Overall i had a good experience here up to my 3rd prenatal check up. Midwife who attended me seemed to put her personal feelings about political views a.k.a trump winning the election and how she just indirectly felt bad repeatedly, i was guessing for the diverse population of this country who isnt trump approved which made it extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Also kind of felt like she was being a little racist as she asked me why i had not disclosed the name of my babies father which i did in a previous appointment, who then continued talking about nothing would happen to him if i was worried about him getting in trouble or people finding him as if he wasnt from this country, after she was done i told her i did mention his name previous midwife must have forgotten to write it down and that he was from the u.s born and raised. The nurse that was in there with us seemed to notice it too and tried making the midwifes attitude not as bad as it was. Also overheard her talking about my checkup with front staff who have no business discussing these things as there jobs are attending patients up front i believe and it felt really awkward leaving as they all got quiet and looked at me strangely as i walked by kind of felt like i was surrounded with immature high schoolers. Overall thats what made it really uncomfortable for me and i changed clinics because i never want to feel that way again! Baby is almost here and i will be delivering at a different hospital also. A professional should never act this way!
