Dr. Petrini took such great care of us, answering all of our questions, informing us of next steps and making us feel confident. She has such a lovely spirit - the egg retrieval and transfer were smooth and enjoyable thanks to her personal approach. Berkeley was always available to answer one-off questions via email or phone when needed. We never waited long for an appointment - sometimes even arriving early so we could be seen before our appt time. Almost felt sad graduating and transitioning to our OB! Will absolutely keep the team updated and bring baby to the annual reunion!
Just delivered our beautiful twin girls last week! Cannot thank doctor Petrini enough for her compassion and work ethic. If you’re searching for a doctor who truly cares, ask for Petrini! Can’t thank TFC enough for our biggest blessings!
We had an amazing experience with Dr. Petrini and couldn’t recommend her and her team higher! She always took time to meet with us and answer questions. She’s very down to earth and provides honest recommendations about what you truly need to do/not do during the process. She was positive for us even when we weren’t having success initially. The nurses were also great and they seemed like they genuinely cared about us and our journey. If you’re new to them - know that they don’t answer calls often but I was always called back promptly within the same day or often quite quickly after I left a message. We wished we could have stayed with Dr. Petrini and her team for the entire pregnancy as we just loved working with them. Also loved Dr. Schutt who we had briefly while Dr. Petrini was on maternity. Their south office felt much more intimate than their main office which we had several appointments at and we were glad we chose the south location.
I am a new patient to TFC and Im in the beginning stages so I cant offer a full review on procedures/physicians just yet. This review is specifically for Jazmin Boone who is the New Patient Coordinator at TFC South Austin. She has been my main point of contact (even though Im currently at the North Austin Location) and she has been so extremely kind and helpful. She has truly gone above and beyond for me with all of my anxious questions even with Insurance and WinFertility coverage questions (which quite frankly isnt even her job). This entire specialty is a very sensitive and personal topic for women and to my surprise, not many people in my beginning search for fertility assessments have been very welcoming or helpful in the first stages of research. Until I found Jazmine! I hope the rest of my experience with TFC is as positive as my interaction with her. Thank you, Jazmine!
My wife and I worked with Dr. Petrini to have our second child. My wifes c section did not heal correctly with her first pregnancy and she needed to have surgery to fix it. Dr. Petrini helped us figure this out and recommended herself and also other options that would work with our insurance to fix the issue. My wife had the surgery and was able to get pregnant again with our only male embryo with Dr. Perrini. We felt really cared for and that Dr. Petrini was really invested is our success. We sent her pictures when our son was born because we wanted her to know how her help really made all the difference. Would highly recommend her and everyone at TFC looking to grow their family ❤️
Dr. Natalie Burger and her staff are absolutely incredible. Paper work, appointments, information, phone calls with results, the team does not stop to make the experience smooth and seamless. Without a doubt do I give these incredible folks 5/5 stars. Both my husband and I felt comfortable, informed and ultimately treated with the best care during our time with Dr. Burger. We owe them a whole lot for making our dreams come true. Cant wait to head back there for baby #2.
I just completed IVF to freeze my eggs and wanted to write a review because I was impressed by the experience and team. Going into this process I had a lot of worries and concerns and Dr. Burger listened and addressed each concern along the way, making the process as easy as it could be for me. I spoke with Taylor, one of the nurses a lot at this clinic and she was so kind and responsive, which really makes the experience that much easier and more pleasant. I went into the experience thinking this may be tough and I left thinking that wasnt bad at all and a lot of that was based on both Dr. Burger and her nurses.
My experience with TFX South Austin Fertility Center today was very poor and I will not be returning. Here is a summary of my experience:- It took a full week to schedule my initial appointment as no one picked up the phone every time I called. When I finally did get a hold of someone, the next available 9am appointment was in two months. I cleared my schedule for that appointment.- I arrived at my appointment 20 minutes early to make sure I completed necessary paperwork. I was admitted to the waiting room a few minutes past 9am and the front desk assistant/nurse took my blood pressure. Then I was admitted to Dr. Petrinis office where the front desk assistant/nurse asked initial questions. I was told Dr. Petrini would be in very shortly.- I sat in the office room for some time. I started to hear chatter and laughter in the office next door. By that point, my appointment was halfway over so I left the office and walked to the front desk since it was clear I was not going to get the full appointment. While I walked out, a woman in a lululemon type jacket leaning against the door who was part of the laughter and chatter casually said Hello to me. It turned out this was Dr. Petrini.- At the front desk, I was told that Dr. Petrini had been in surgery and had just arrived (the laughter and chatter had been occurring for some time so just arrived was blatantly dishonest). I told the front desk that my appointment was halfway over and I did not have time to extend the appointment beyond the allotted time slot. Instead of trying to find an alternative (like the next available morning appointment), the front desk was weirdly defensive. Dr. Petrini eventually came out (it turned out she was the woman in the lululemon type jacket who casually said hello) and she abruptly and tersely blurted, If you dont have time, then you dont have time and then quickly turned her back. Yikes. That was my first experience with the doctor who would be performing a very sensitive procedure on my body and, believe me, it was a very unprofessional and callous encounter.- The least that Dr. Petrini (through her her assistant) could have done was let me know that Dr. Petrini was running late, that my appointment would be cut in short by at least half if not more, and to see if I had time to reschedule as soon as possible given that I had already waited months. Like many women seeking fertility treatments, I am a busy professional with a calendar full of appointments. I would never treat a client so casually and with such disrespect. I would be organized enough to let a client know in advance, graciously apologize and use efforts to give them the next best available appointment. Also, I would not linger outside of the office chatting and laughing with colleagues while missing an appointment with a client.- On the upside, I clearly dodged a bullet. (Frankly, I should have paid more attention to the reviews.) Also, I was able to immediately get in touch with Aspire Fertility (which has glowing reviews) to schedule an appointment. They also have virtual initial appointment options and I got an early morning appointment in just two weeks!** Note in response to TX Fertility’s Center’s reply: you have my full name and you can see I was on your schedule two days ago. Why don’t *you* call me? Also, why do you copy and paste the HIPAA reply on all the negative review posts? It blatantly looks like you are trying to discredit the reviewers. Again, not a business that should be trusted with respect to a woman’s health.**
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Burger. I was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid in January 2019 and Dr. Burger and her staff were professional, intelligent and caring. I had surgery on 4/3/2019 and the whole process was smooth. Ive never had surgery before so I was really nervous but Dr. Burger visited with me before the surgery and even in the operating room, I felt at ease. My incision was done so beautifully and below the bikini line. My husband and mother were in the waiting room and Dr. Burger and her staff made sure to keep them updated through the entire procedure. I have had a few post-opp visits and the TFC has been outstanding and taking great care of me, calling me back even at 11pm at night if I was in pain or concerned. HIGHLY recommend this facility and Dr. Burger. I am looking forward to our fertility journey now that Dr. Burger has made this possible for us. Thank you!
My experience with Dr. Burger was great. She is up to date on the latest research in the industry. Shes competent and down to earth. No big ego like some other fertility drs Ive had experience with, but she knows what shes doing. She was not pushy or shoving me full of progesterone. She laid out all the options for me, gave her opinions, and allowed me to make the choice for myself. She was caring and honest. I definitely recommend her.
Dr. Burger and her team are wonderful! Infertility is so unique and personal to each patient, and there isnt a one size fits all treatment. I was dealing with secondary infertility and had been told by another fertility specialist that my only option was IVF. Dr. Burger listened to my concerns and hesitation to jump straight into IVF. I appreciated Dr. Burgers scientific approach to formulating a treatment plan, and that she also took into account how I, the patient, was feeling. Many thanks to Dr. Burger and her team for their support, knowledge, and guidance!
We can’t thank enough Dr Natalie Burger, she made our journey look so easy and very comfortable. Her and her team are the best. I was always able to communicate with them.I had a very successful pregnancy, my baby will be one year old in two months. I can’t believe the time flew by.Thank you and God bless all of you ❤️
There has been difficulty reaching my doctor or nurse’s team. It took me 7 days to get in touch with someone. The person responsible for answering texts on their messaging platform was very apologetic. I recommend leaving multiple messages (voicemail and texts) if no one will return your calls. Other than the communication issues, I have been pleased with how friendly all the TFC staff has been.*update*On August 5, 2022 my new doctor sent a records request to Texas Fertility Center. My new doctor called their office on August 9 to make sure they received the request (they did). It is now August 31 and they still havent shared my records. This review doesnt even begin to describe our nightmare with Dr. Petrini (false diagnosis, refusal to re-review data after I questioned my diagnosis, failure to investigate problematic discovery in ultra sound). I cannot urge people enough not to seek treatment at this clinic.
I am giving Dr. Natalie Burger a 5 stars! I am the intended parent and we worked with her through our process with gestational carrier, she was great with interpersonal communication part! The only reason I gave 4 stars because of Michelle, the coordinator we worked with for an entire year, she kept on giving us the wrong information on a variety of things. For example, she’d us the wrong date or time appointment to wrong office location. It has gotten to become a constant mistake throughout the year, not just one time thing. Michelle was awesome to work with to begin with, but when I started asking more and more questions, she just became cold and sent a simple answer. Overall, we are expecting a baby and so happy with how TFC helped us!!! Just wish some certain staff could make us feel more “at ease”.
My husband and I went to dr. Burger for male infertility. There was only one protocol we could do and that was icsi/ivf. After my husband went through his surgery to get swimmers I started ivf. Dr Burger and her nurses were there every step of the way available to ask any and all questions. Because of her we were able to get pregnant with our first frozen embryo transfer. Today was my last appointment with her because I am now graduating to an obgyn for the remainder of my pregnancy. I love dr. Burger. I’m so sad to leave her, she’s so comforting, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I would give her a million stars and recommend her to everyone!
We have a story to share. We have tried for several years to have a child with no luck. Moved to Austin and went to a fertility clinic to only jump right into IVF with no luck. Tried but doctor had a hard time retrieving eggs and when she did they ended up not being viable. Decided to try a different doctor and ended up in Dr. Natalie Burgers office. She listened patiently, asked many questions and answered many questions. She suggested we start from the beginning and try IUI which we did but unfortunately did not work. Now during this whole process pregnancy occurs the old fashioned way. Sadly Dr. Burger said that this was not a viable pregnancy so the shot was given to terminate the pregnancy. She sent us home cautioning us to be aware of any pains or discomfort as this could very well be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. A week later early one morning my wife awakens in real discomfort so off to the ER we go. The ER doctor said the signs of ectopic pregnancy are there so he called on the staff ob/gyn and Dr. Burger. The staff doctor watches my wifes blood pressure decrease and orders a transfusion and says there is the possibility of having to take a look inside. We are not there for more than 45 minutes when Dr. Burger rapidly enters the ER and takes over. She says she will take a scope and look inside and off to surgery we go. We get to the surgery prep area and my wifes blood pressure plummets. Dr. Burger and the anesthesiologist start pushing nurses aside and say we are doing the surgery now. It was close but all was well. After the surgery Dr. Burger hung around to make sure I was ok (nervous wreck!). After several months for my wife to recover, she then said lets try IVF but use a different protocol. She understood the issue of the difficulty of retrieving the eggs but said she and her staff were good at getting to the eggs that were hiding! When she did go to retrieve she was able to get all eggs that were there (low egg count was one issue we dealt with). Long story short, one embryo was implanted a couple of months ago and my wife is now about 10 weeks pregnant.Throughout this whole process Dr. Burger was/is a warm caring individual who takes a real interest in her patients and their well being. We both felt like we were her only patients even though we know that is not true. Her office staff and nurse assigned to us (Cynthia) were all terrific and a pleasure to work with. She and her staff understood the what my wife went through physically and mentally. They were there every step, explaining things in details. We heartily recommend Dr. Natalie Burger as she is amazing!
Ive been seeing Dr. Berger for over one year now. Today was my final appointment with TFC. Why? Because the fertility treatment received through this office was successful and my husband and I are having twins. Dr. Berger and all staff at TFC have impeccable bedside manor. It is clear that they love their jobs and take the welfare and success of their clients serious. The care I recieved was amazing and I recommend TFCs services, particularly, those of Dr. Berger to anyone struggling with fertility issues who want the best chances at success for becoming pregnant. I cant thank this practice enough.
Dr. Natalie Burger was our fertility doctor and she is amazing. My husband and I are 32 years old. We started our infertility journey about 2 years ago. We tried on our own for 1 year and nothing. Dr. Burger was very thorough and explained every option we had. She listened and always made us feel that having a baby would be possible for our future. We tried the IUI option twice with femara with no luck and instead of doing IUI a 3rd time I had Laparoscopy and hysteroscopy done. Dr. Burger had suggested from the get go that I might have endometriosis do to my history of spotting before periods and the fact that it ran in my family, but my husband and I wanted to try the IUI first. With no luck with the IUIs I had the surgery in Oct. 2017. I did indeed have endometriosis on my ovaries and behind my uterus. Dr. Burger also found an abnormality at the top of my uterus when she performed the hysteroscopy and removed it. In January of 2018 we got the go ahead to start trying. Im happy to say by March 2018 we found out that I was pregnant!!! We are so happy. We literally thought this day would never come. I want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for Dr. Burger. She is absolutely a wonderful woman and does amazing work and means what she says that she will get you pregnant. I also want to give a big thanks to the nurses. They are the kindest and sweetest of people. I never had a nurse that didnt have a smile on her face. They always asked how we were. Also my personal nurse Shannon. She was awesome. She answered all my questions that I had when I found out that I was pregnant and I could reach her via email or by phone anytime of the day. Again thank you so much Dr. Burger. So if your debating about what your next step is I highly suggest TX Fertility. The staff is amazing
After visting 11 doctors that wanted to remove my uterus or they just wanted me to hold the pain, she helped me with my fibroids. Dr. Burger was amazing!. I recommend her 100%, she made me feel safe and explained to me all the possibilities. Very professional and sweet person.
Dr. Natalie Burger and team are wonderful - very knowledgeable, highly skilled, thorough, detail-oriented, and compassionate. My care felt very individualized and my questions were always answered. I cannot say enough about my positive experience with TFC.
I have only been to one appointment at this clinic with dr. Hansard, but I am so so impressed with their team. She is so personable, comfortable, and thorough. She came highly recommended and I see why after one appointment. I wish I didn’t need to see her, but I’m glad she and her team are here.
At one time I didn’t think it would ever be my turn and now I have my son all thanks to Dr Petrini :)
I have not had a pleasant experience here at all. It is practically impossible to reach the front office or the nursing staff, and with my transfer of care they did not send my records despite me asking them twice, so my appointment has been canceled. Extremely frustrating experience with the office.
She is a wonderful and caring Doctor. She helped us get pregnant in the first go itself. We were so happy we found her but sad that she didnt deliver.
Had a great experience with Dr. Petrini. Office staff is top notch, super friendly and organized. The quality of care was excellent.
Everyone is so kind and helpful! This is a hard journey and they make it easier
Currently working with Dr Schutt’s team and my experience has been great so far
Absolutely loved Dr. Burger and the care I received from her and her team! I absolutely recommend them ❤️
She has been amazing and gentle with every visit.
