The facility was close to home, clean and not a huge wait at the time I went in. Everyone was cheerful and accommodating! Received wonderful care! Fabulous for minor emergencies!
The kindest staff and very attentive! Usually I dread urgent care as it takes forever and lacks hospitality, but not this place. Thank y’all for your help and providing great service- truly. It makes such a difference!
Met all my needs - online booking was easy, was able to get a convenient early time, new patient data input was quick, and mobile check-in worked. Easy to find the physical location and the check-in staff was polite and competent. Same for the medical staff - I really felt like they listened and I was very satisfied with their recommendations. I never _want_ to need urgent care, but I will go back here next time I do.
Best medical clinic experience ever with an urgent care new patient sick visit. Hands down. From the time we walked in we were greated warmly with a wonderfully helpful front desk staff. Tony and Michelle were professional, intelligent, and so very welcoming as well.
It was easy to make the appointment on a Sunday, and the weight was short when I got there. Tony, who checked me in and took my vitals was very efficient and kind. Michele, who saw me was very efficient and nice and personable. They called in a prescription for me which was ready pretty quickly and I’m looking forward to feeling better. It was a very good experience. Everything was clean and neat and the staff were lovely.
I had an incredible experience here today!!! I saw Dr. Lexi and she was so kind, patient, and understanding while I explained why I was visiting. I was very transparent about not having insurance + moving next week and she was able to give me an affordable prescription PLUS a GoodRX coupon to help at the pharmacy. The woman working at the front was just as kind, patient, and understanding while she helped me choose the best financial option for me. I’m so grateful to have found such a caring facility, especially since this was really my first time needing doctor care since I moved here two years ago. I feel so lucky 🤍
I had to come in for a second opinion from elsewhere. Making an appointment over the phone was a breeze everyone was inviting and the doctor was very kind and informative. Total staff made me feel welcomed and heard! Next time Im in a bind I will definitely come back to this location
Best urgent care experience Ive ever had. In and out in less than an hour, and they even had to do x-rays. From the lady at the front desk to the x-ray tech and doctor, everybody was very nice and professional. 100% recommended.
This is Ellen’s guy,I’ll try to keep this short. I’m normally not one to fill out reviews but if it’s a good one I might, this being the case. Everything went smooth and cool. They had an appointment for 7:40 pm, even though they closed at 8:00pm. She checked me out and sent me on my way with four prescriptions. They were super nice and helpful. Not even a hint of condescension. Can’t say that for the last U.C. that I went to. Thank you so much!!!
Reception was professional, but after making an appt, and showing up early, they said they were busy, running 45 minutes behind. After a hour , Im told 10 more minutes, ... this is completely ridiculous. Well see how I feel after I see a doctor. By the way,co-payment was on time being tucked out of my account! 😠I finally was seen by a doctor, who was very through. Although my demeanor was angry, the staff (3 women, ) were apologetic and professional. I received a breathing treatment and was prescribed medication. it has been 18 hours since I was there and my breathing has improved by 50%. I apologized to the staff on my way out, and again, they were all so very helpful and professional.
First of all, the gentleman nurse who does intake is exceptional. Id give him 6 stars if I could. The rest of the review is no reflection on him.Our issue is that the facility clearly knew they were not going to treat our son, yet still took our money and made us wait almost two hours to tell us that.We made an appointment and brought him because he was having symptoms of either a UTI or possibly blood sugar issues. A urine sample was collected and we were placed in a room. Almost 90 minutes passed before we saw a doctor. The doctors beside manor was terrible. She walked into the room and immediately says well, we dont manage diabetes here. You need to go to Dell Childrens Hospital now.Excuse me? Our son has never been diagnosed as diabetic. Before you even introduced yourself, you break that news to us? Seriously?Beyond that, we came in with abnormal blood sugar as a symptom. If you couldnt treat the condition that might relate to, why didnt you tell us that at reception?Overall terrible experience. More importantly, we could have just went straight to the ER if someone had simply told us this was outside of their scope- either when we made the appointment or when we checked in and described symptoms.
Nextcare staff were incredible! It truly felt like “health care”. Anthony and Lexi were amazing, as well as the receptionist (didn’t get her name). I recommend Urgent Care on West William Cannon. Although the facility appeared a bit run down, they were the best and deserve to be working in a brand new, sparkling facility! This staff was a rare find, especially in today’s workplace. Thank you all!
I would highly recommend going here. I came in for an injured toe and the whole process was smooth. The doctor and x-ray tech were knowledgeable and identified the fracture, whereas a different place I went to first did not. Tony and Michelle were awesome. The woman at the front desk was great too but I didn’t catch her name.
Every individual I dealt with was exceptionally friendly however I felt my time had been wasted filling out paperwork in advance since the front desk person claims to not be able to see anything except my presenting health issue. This resulted in redundant regurgitation of information (when you feel sick and run down already this is very aggravating and taxing). Also the pricing structure is “curious” if not using insurance; grateful for the discount program but the marketing material and sales pitch for the less expensive program contradict the actual FACT that you CANNOT in fact cancel at any time. Then the directive to fill the application out and pay on my phone resulted in unresolveable tech issues and more time wasted as the front desk agent wound up having to input the data on her computer after so much frustration. I had an appointment and filled out paperwork in advance but due to administrative issues was called back 30 minutes late with NO ONE waiting in front of me. Otherwise I enjoyed the triage medical professional and the PA Lexie who took vitals, provided testing and a treatment plan. Need to fix the administrative issues.
I was in and out within 30min minutes with an x-ray and consultation with the doctor and everything. Super convenient to set up an appointment online so you have a quick and easy check in! 10/10 recommend.
Easiest to just make your appointment online and go in at appointment time for very little waiting to be seen. You can just walk in but those with appointments will go before you. Great care from medical assistant and physician assistant. Prescription is sent electronically to pharmacy of choice. Great experience
We are newer to the area nd don’t have a local PCP so we went to Nextcare because my son had severe Ear pain. We arrived and we were seen within 5 minutes of our arrival!!!! 👏🏼 the front desk was amazing. Very friendly and welcoming!! We saw Alexus PA-C and she was so nice and thorough! Very friendly and professional! We were in and out within 30 minutes! Thank yall for your help!!! Definitely recommend this location at William Cannon!!!
I was treated for the flu at this hospital on this Feb. While the fault isnt theirs, despite being in-network, my insurance didnt cover it. I was promised reimbursement upon insurance approval and paid in full. The plan discount was confirmed by the insurer, but Ive been waiting months for reimbursement of the remainder from this hospital. Its now been five months since my February visit, and despite repeated attempts, Im only promised callbacks that never come. I dont know how much longer I should wait. Its basic to refund the difference once insurance kicks in, so I dont understand why this is dragging on. The positive image I had before treatment has sadly soured, and Im deeply disappointed.
Was in from out of town, and feeling sick with a really bad sore throat. I had a great experience. Admin and clinical staff were very professional and friendly. They tested me for Flu, CV-19, and strep; results returned in about 15 mins. They sent my medication prescription to the pharmacy right down the street. Between signing in, completing paperwork, and being seen, they had me in and out in less than an hour. Thank you!
I was very disappointed with the service. It did not feel like a medical office. I went to this particular clinic because Balor scott & White sent me there. I walked in and it was empty in the lobby.I was called with in minutes. Had the normal check in. My blood pressure was high but the tech said the (dr) Nurse practitioner said that they were going to recheck it again. (Never happened) The dr finally came in 10-15 min later. I wasnt examined. All she asked was how long has my your leg hurt. I said basically since December. I told her my leg was swollen. She didnt think it was and brought out a measuring tape to measure both of my calfs. When the measuring showed swelling she seemed stumped. Then I asked about blood clots in the leg and she proceeds to order that test. Then explains that I probably have to go to A hospital because all test have to be sent out.I get up to leave and I am being quietly accused of taking her measuring tape. This was the most uncomfortable and useless visit to a medical establishment.Having to spend so much money in health care just to recieve sub par service is uncalled for.
They have helped me through a on the job injury and have been friendly and responsive to all my needs. The care has been compassionate and collaborative. Thank you
The wait was at least 30 mins with a set appointment but the visit was quick since we had probable idea of diagnosis based on close contact with others with same. Our insurance does not have a contracted rate with this urgent care and it would have cost $300 or more but the discount program we set up with the location was a very affordable option.
Unfortunately, my experience at this urgent care provider was far from satisfactory. The pricing was unclear and felt misleading, leaving me frustrated and uncertain about the final cost. The staff lacked empathy and seemed indifferent to my concerns, making me feel unwelcome. The overall service was slow and disorganized, adding unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. I would not recommend this urgent care provider to others.
Everyone here was very nice and very helpful. So thankful that they were available. To do a sports physical for my daughter. The day before school, they rock!
Staff were very concerned and professional and got to root of problem right away. Explained info in understandable wayOnly thing did not like is app used to complete med docs. Shared info with too many places. Completed hard copy forms
I was visiting Austin for a wedding when I was hit with the mother of all migraines. I forgot my rescue meds at home and was feeling incredibly sick, basically every traveler’s worst nightmare. I was able to make an appointment and get seen and get emergency meds called in to a pharmacy. Incredibly nice and helpful.
Bonnie, MD was great! She really took care of our son while visiting. She was caring and understanding.
Found on Svott & White website. Walked in filled out info online. Was seen right away. Great experience, would highly recommend.
Opening a claim with the state. Went to get an STI test and month later they are unwilling to provide results. Sounded like they messed up and swapped peoples results and unwilling to admit it. Results in the app are saying TNP, request problem, no data for half of them. They called me back to tell me my results initially. Went all in depth and eventually mentioned urine test all went smooth. I told them I only did a BLOOD sample. Since then they told me my results were good after checking in on things but will not provide proof of the clear results. Followed up 5 times trying to get them to email the results. No email and no follow up to confirm I got an email like they said they would. Do not go here. They should and probably will be shut down soon by the state. …I let the office know today was their last chance to get me the info before submitting the claim. They failed again.Complaint submitted with TMBUpdate: the drs. Office replied to my review stating they have contacted me. No one has reached out or even attempted to provide me results. This is a very unethical place.
Great doctor nurses are caring and take good care of my son
The customer service was amazing and she talked me through everything that I was going through and answered every single question that I had she made me feel very comfortable under the needle. I would definitely go back here very nice people.
What a wonderful experience it has been each time going to NextCare urgent care. Absolutely everyone there is super great, from the receptionist, to the nurse, to the doctor! I’ve been there a number of times and each time, without fail, I’ve felt so fortunate to have this lovely urgent care to depend on! NextCare Urgent Care has made life so simple - whether filling out the form, making an appointment, or just walking in! It has a quiet, clean, professional, and friendly atmosphere. And above all, you are attended to with high quality medical care. I highly recommend NextCare urgent care to anyone in need of medical care.
Front desk & nurse and doctor were so kind and caring. They have on site testing for flu & strap and instant results. Thank you for being open on the weekend.
Same day appointment for a sports physical for my teenage son. Efficient, kind, and only $20!
They could use some updating. There was a portable heater in the waiting room and the initial consult attendant had 5 thermometers each with 5 different results. The PA seemed knowledgeable and helped meout more than previous Drs had … I appreciate that!
Dr Michelle was very friendly and I am satisfied with the results. Also, the staff at the counter are very friendly. Its a good place.
I have been here multiple times. We live in a smaller town and come to Austin to visit family often. Every single time we need medical care they have been so fast and efficient. Even when we had to wait, we could do it in the comfort of our car rather than the waiting room which helps. Once inside I don’t feel like any time is wasted at all. The nurse Tony is genuinely nice and speaks to kids on their level and overall kind. The provider answered every question and never makes us feel rushed but also doesn’t waste time. It’s clean, it’s quiet, you can tell the staff work well together. 10/10 will always use if we are in Austin
Great experience. PA is so very friendly and compassionate and helped me greatly.
The staff is very friendly, and the care I received was good. HOWEVER, as other reviews have stated this place will overcharge. I had a cut on the finger that didnt need stitches. Once the doctor finally saw me (1.5 hours later) all she had to do was review the wound and help clean it. She saw me for 10 minutes. Then I got a final bill for $450 (after insurance). I called my insurance company who informed me that NextCare had classified the visit as high severity. Needless to say, I called NextCare immediately, and after threatening with pictures and documentation proving that the care I received was minimal, they adjusted the charge to $98. If you use this place, make sure you document everything, the times you were at the facility, and take pictures of the care received and the injury. Be sure to let the receptionist and doctor know that you have done such documentation so that you dont have to go through the hassle I did. This place is shady and I will never go there again.
I was convenient for a quick process to get started and seen. I dont get sick often and very rare I need to go for medical care so this place came in handy... I just didnt like that i wasnt given breakdown of my copay and what my insurance covered ... just a verbal. I think that is unprofessional because for a 200 dollar copay I think break down be sufficient. With the raising cost in everything you dont know who is trying to take advantage or not. Unfortunately I wasnt in the mood to make a big deal about it cause I was sick. But I think if I got the break down of the billing... i would feel better about the validity of the Co pay of $200. I wont recommend based on that way of doing business. Its very transactional which I guess I should.expect from a urgent care place.
The staff was helpful, thoughtful, and friendly. Had me feeling better the next day. Thanks!
Nextcare did a great job at giving my daughter a school physical for UT. We made an appointment as well that they honored. Thank you for your quick service.
Really good experience. Short wait, super professional staff, and being able to fill out paperwork in advance was a big plus.
Very efficient office. The staff is very professional. They’ve been able to help me on various occasions.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Got in, 3 stitches and out quickly. Would definitely recommend calling ahead to make sure staff is available at this location, even with an appointment. I would not have gotten in a day earlier.
No M.D.s on staff and I was told they are limited on medications that can be prescribed. Front lady was really nice, but you shouldn’t have a PA instead of a doctor at an urgent care. I had to go somewhere else. At least they didn’t waste my time and see me anyway is the only silver lining.
No doctor in officeNo one told meHad to wait on hold 35 mins to do a telehealth call - at the office, using my own phone - with a physicians assistant, not a doctor. Kimberlee H., the PA, was incredibly rude and dismissive. Did not listen when I insisted the cough medicine she wanted to prescribe makes me dizzy and light headed. She was 10 mins late to my in-office tele-health appt. Also was angry, dismissive, and just plain rude. Worst medical professional I’ve ever encountered. Imagine an angry DMV employee.Still got charged $75 copay for nothing!NOTE:The in-office staff were very nice, I must add. And they were both actually physically present at the office. I was surprised they didn’t complain about not having a DR present at the Doctors office. I even tried to get them to agree with me that the #1 answer on Famiky Fued for “Name sonethin you’re likely to see at a Doctors office?” Is …. A Doctor.Driving to a med clinic and having to use my own phone for a virtual dr appt + paying $75 out of pocket (meaning my insurance paid the clinic at least an additional $300) was like watching a movie in a theater lobby on your phone, after paying for a ticket.Even worse, I could’ve done a tele-health visit remotely through Aetna for free.Never again.
A very good experience. The nurse was very patient with my teen and FNP on call, Shajjia Ahmed, was very thorough in her analysis and provided all the needed help! Made a sick visit a more bearable experience.
We were seen quickly, they did everything they could to resolve our issue!!Quite satisfied, thank you.
This is my second time here. A couple of weeks ago I brought my older daughter. When I needed my younger daughter checked on today I decided to book with you all. As a former corporate customer service trainer I really appreciate how nice and professional everyone is. From the receptionist to the doctors. Keep up the good work. Your William Cannon team is awesome. Tony made both of my girls comfortable with his great outgoing personality. Makes a moms job easier when they are dealing with sick ones.
I did not expect psychological abuse when visiting this healthcare provider. My interaction with the front desk staff at approximately 8 a.m. on November 17th was a distressing experience as a patient. The issues I encountered include:1. When I asked about the time of my scheduled appointment time and the amount of the co-payment, I was met with gaslighting and told to calm down.2. The front desk lied about having already checked with my insurance. However, upon contacting my insurance right during my visit waiting for test results, I learned that the co-pay amount they provided was incorrect.3. The front desk staff refused to give me the office managers contact information, forcing me to seek it elsewhere. The front desk staff was unable to provide a contact number if there would be additional questions about billing.4. Upon requesting a refund for the incorrectly charged co-payment as I was leaving, I was accused of being combative. This accusation was made merely for asking standard logistical questions about billing, which is my right as a consumer and patient.5. At the end of my visit, I received a sarcastic have a blessed day, further contributing to the negative experience. This was the worst patient experience Ive had, odd to think when going to a healthcare provider for wellbeing but given more distress and extensive gaslighting within a just 30-minute timeframe.—UPDATE: the owner responded here saying they will reach out but they haven’t.—
My whole experience was almost all positive. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because the front desk arrived right at 8 (when they open) and told me I had to wait outside for her to “set up.” When I did finally check in, she was not apologetic or anything for making me wait after they should’ve already been open. I work as a front desk for a medical clinic as well and I understand things happen and can cause people to be late. But you should always follow it up with better customer service. Like “sorry for the wait” it’s very simple, but goes along way with patients.
Dont trust them when they tell you they take your insurance! We checked before going to make sure they took our kids insurance. They said yes they do. But they charged Texas Foster Kids insurance way over what they normally charged, got paid, and billed us for more! Foster kids have 100% coverage, NextCare has been paid in full but are sending us to collections for excess charges even after I have contacted them and let them know! Wow.
Great staff! They were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I was seen quickly and made sure I understood my paperwork before I left.
Great experience.. always a great experience. Fast, efficient and friendly.
Allows you to schedule an in person visit. But when you get there, they tell you there are no providers at the facility and you have to call and do a teledoc appointment. Could have saved a trip if this was published on the web site. The nurse mentioned that people complain about this, but they dont know when they will have a provider or not. Here is in idea. If you dont have a provider, be closed for the day. The doctor had me take pictures and hold my phone up to my daughters phone so they could see.To further complicate things, the staff entered my phone number incorrectly causing things to take longer than they would have if I had just done it myself at home. Also the bed had rips in the fabric, the floor was falling apart, and outlet covers were cracked. The place felt like it was falling apart.
I went in for an infection in my finger that had been treated in another urgent care six days earlier. After the PA took a look at it, he recommended going to an ER since it looked beyond what ge was willing to do in an urgent care. He walked me out to the front desk and told the receptionist to refund my co-pay. Awesome!
Always prompt and thoughtful. Able to have good conversations with the doctors.
Just had my first visit here and Im impressed! Everyone was so nice and helpful. I came in for a bad earache and ringing in my ear, so I had to have some impacted earwax removed. Highly recommend. This is my new go-to place for urgent care now.
Needed a school sports physical for my daughter with limited notice. Lots of flexibly timed appointments. Easy to schedule a same day or next day visit.
Nextcare Urgent care was fast and convenient. I signed up early online and filled out the necessary paperwork before I arrived. I was seen 30 minutes after my visit time and I left an hour later with my prognosis and prescription order. I did not have to wait too long at all. The staff was polite and friendly. I would go back again.
Easy - made appointment online, filled out paperwork before arrived, got there and got signed right in - got x-ray - got results and I was home in an hour. Everyone was kind and engaged in what they were doing.
It’s so tough this time of year. We’re running in so many directions, don’t have enough hours in the day to get everything you need and want done.I’m thankful for NextCare Urgent care! They value my family and myself as patients, as customers, and our time too! My son has finals and he came home sick. We weren’t able to get an appointment anywhere but here. First thing in the morning, we’re in and out. So quick, friendly, kind and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and valued. I will come back again! So should you!
Remember to call! They don’t even have a doctor in the clinic ….. only online doctors! No eye care anything…. Useless…
Staff was thorough in their treatment provided to me. Recommend this facility for treatment.
They were wonderful, front desk nurse and everyone PA. PAC Starr was incredibly kind and had me in and out quickly with the proper medications. Thank yall so much!
Tony is the best! He has taken care of my daughter a few times. Hes always nice and caring. Only place I take my daughter!! Great staff!! Thank you all!
Waiting time wasn’t bad at all. Online check-in made everything super easy and fast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Considering the procedure I was having (staples removed from scalp) it wasn’t a bad experience. I really appreciate everyone’s kindness and caring. Thanks
I believe in providing credit where credit is due. I would like to comment on two individuals that deserve recognition. First is Ms. Loraine your receptionist. She was so helpful, courteous, and greeted us with a smile. I didn’t feel I was bothering her at the end of her day. Secondly, Ryan the nurse 👨⚕️ practitioner showed empathy towards my husband and I especially since we were ill 😷. Ryan took time to explain the entire process of treatment & medication. In my humble opinion is very rare these days. I felt very comfortable and appreciate the attention and care we received on our visit. Cudos to Ryan & Loraine!
We have been to this urgent care 5 times in the last 12 months for all things ranging from strep to Covid, flu etc. The PA, Ryan is incredible. He is thorough, efficient and kind. Debbie and also the male medical tech (so sorry I cant Remember his name) are excellent. The front desk is always welcoming, accommodating and kind as well. I am So impressed with their practice. As an NP myself, I can Recommend this urgent care from a patient and professional standpoint.
First time using urgent care. It was Fast and easy. The staff at check-in, nurse, and doctor were all great.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this clinic. The wait time was reasonable, I was able to do all of my paperwork online while waiting in my car, and the environment was very friendly and caring. Tony was outstanding and made me laugh several times, even while I was feeling extremely sick. Highly recommend!
The physician and staff are friendly, helpful and extremely caring. The wait time was short and swift. I highly recommend this Urgent Care facility. You will not be disappointed at all.
Very nice staff, although I was severely dehydrated and they had to send me to an ER for just an IV drip. I would much rather go to an urgent care for something so small but unfortunately, its not offered at this facility.
NextCare front desk and nurse were nice, but they don’t have drs on staff anymore as they are too cheap to pay for Drs apparently! I have telecare for free with my health care. This was a total waste of time and money all to save a buck! Shame on NextCare!!!!!
Tested positive for covid. Walked to get medication. Staff was accomodating and friiendly. I took all my medications to make sure there are no drug interactionns. I was done checking in in 15 min. Was so impressed. Iwas given prescription for paxlovid and order was ready when I called CVS. Took first dose that night. I woke up by 4 am choking from blood. My nose was bleeding profusely and was just flowing out my nose and mouth. Stuffed my nose with cotton balls and I was able to control the bleeding. I googled paxlovid with blood thinners and it shows providers are not to precribe plaxovid with patients and blood thinners. It also states that paxlovid has negative interactions with certai medicatiions that providers should check for patients medication list before prescribing. I still have one medication multaq that has adverse reaction with paxlovid. When I called to tell them of what happened the staff just told me that provider was with a patie t and that I should just stop taking. Paxlovid if Im getting a bad reaction. Thats it. Never heard from them even after I requested a call back
My husband and I both tested positive for Covid, and we were seen together. It was on a Sunday so my doctor’s office wasn’t open. I made an appointment online. It was quick, and examination was thorough. It saved me time and money.
I so appreciate their kindness during a very busy holiday week with lots of doctors offices closed and a peak in all the viruses and illnesses. They were efficient getting me scheduled, tried their best to get me in as quickly as possible despite the backup because of the aforementioned, and they diagnosed me quickly and thoroughly. Thank you, this is my new go to walk-in clinic!
This is my go-to urgent care as a chronic patient. The customer service and wait times are what keep me coming back. Tony, the x-Ray tech is amazing. I’ve had perfect experiences here each time.
Every time my son and I go here it is a good experience. PA Alisande and PA Emily are wonderful. They both have really good bedside manner, are patient and kindly listen/answer questions. I definitely recommend them and would gladly have either as my PCP if I could.I saw PA Mark who was super fast, professional and somewhat charming. I definitely recommend seeing him and going to the clinic. He also didn’t seem to be judgmental and I really needed that today. Thanks!
We walked in for a sports physical and had a really great experience. The staff was all super friendly and helpful and the PA who did the physical was very thorough. We were in and out very quickly!
They want to charge me way too much for false info. Never again will I come here even if I have too go.
My nurse practioneer was very good & thorough. One issue was that they took so long to see me. Understandable to a point. He wanted to prescribe me steroids, but the doctor would not approve it.All in all the medical care was good.
Very nice people! The person who checked me in answered all my questions and was very nice to me even though I sounded like I was mad (I blame the sickness). The lady that took my blood pressure was awesome. She apologized for the long wait and told me they were under staff which was very apparent to me. I only saw one person up front, one person taking blood pressure/asking questions, and one nurse practitioner. I felt so bad because so many people came in at once and they havent ate anything since 8am and it was now 2pm. I wish the practitioner would have allowed me to order the lpn food but he already did that. I hope HR sees this review and make sure your workers have time to eat. Youll lose great people if you dont treat your employees well. I hope this gets resolved for all of you, wishing you all the best of luck!
Wait time was a little longer than expected but the staff was courteous and once in the back the doctor was in quickly and had me out the door in no time.
Kind staff. Appreciated the ability to check in and fill out paperwork by phone. Why don’t all places do this?! Care was thorough and efficient. And done so quickly. Waiting rooms were so clean which I appreciated. Thank you to the nurse on staff for her friendly personable care and the front desk for absorbing all the phone calls, questions and everything else involved surrounding patient Urgent Care. I see you.
The staff was incredible and they helped take care of me and my needs.
Awesome! Went in and out, perfect. Thanks for making it a great experience.
The facility was clean and followed social distancing guidelines which I appreciated. Staff was super nice and welcoming. Checking in and out wasnt a hassle like most urgent cares around the area. The visit in total was maybe about 30min? Really quick, fast, and easy service without it feeling rushed. Will definitely come here again for myself and kids for any other minor emergencies.
⚠️ They will overcharge you under an inappropriate/fraudulent code! The PA saw me for all of 5 minutes for a simple problem and charged me under a code meant for a 45-59min visit for medium/high severity. Most people wont notice that they are being overcharged if they have a fixed co-pay, but if you have a high deductible plan, you are going to have a bad time.
Friendly staff, Very fast. Gets the problems solved without all the extra. Skip the wait and go here
The Doctor at this Nextcare treated me with much kindness and compassion which was like a breath of fresh air for my health problem.
I have been taking my children to NextCare for a long time and with Baylor Scott and White I definitely will always use them because they are pretty amazing and I would highly recommend them for any of your medical needs thanks to all of yall have a wonderful day five stars
Next Care is literally the best. I started going to them when I was stationed in Arizona and fell in love with the quality of health care professionals that they have to offer. Not only is check in a snap with the phone app or smart device accessible paperwork but the wait times are realistic, usually ahead of schedule... yet you dont feel rushed during your appointment. We visited the William Cannon location just up the road from Escarpment and are very pleased with our visit.
I made an online appointment. What a joke! When I arrived, I learned that Id wait at least an hour. In retrospect, I should have paid more attention to muted warnings that an appointment does not guarantee that youll be seen at that time. I did try to check the waiting list, but their website and app are confusing and I never got there. When I arrived at exactly the appointed time, the waiting room was at least half full. When I learned about the wait, I opted to go home and wait for a text to return.Once I was home, I decided to go to an ER. I was on hold for TWELVE minutes before I was connected to cancel my appointment. This facility may have great care once you see the doc, but making scheduled appointments wait this long is unacceptable! Sick and injured people deserve better!
Very nice local Urgent Care facility. I used this small Urgent Care facility a few times in the past because its so close to my home.Recently went in for a COVID test. Theyd since changed to NextCare but were really good. I had to wait a little while, but it was worth the wait. The place is sparkling clean (this is very important to me). All of the staff were very nice and I got my test done properly.
I had a 5 star review previously but my 2nd experience was a 1 star. I booked an 1120 got there early and waited till 12:10… before I had to leave never was seen. Literally all the staff would have to do…and this is very simple because we use communication for a reason, is say “ just to let you know we’re running an hour behind”. Would change the entire experience for me. Could’ve left and come back. Could’ve said maybe next time. Nope. Has no clue thought I was next the whole time. Complete waste of time.
The entire staff at this location (William Cannon Rd) was amazing. Everyone was friendly and we were seen immediately. My 3 year old had a bad experience at her pediatrician’s office two weeks prior and was very nervous/scared about the visit. Tony, the vitals nurse, talked to her just as much as he talked to me and gave her a lollipop to ease her anxiety. Ryan, the N.P., listened to my concerns and made sure to explain everything throughout the visit. I would rather bring my daughter back here than see her pediatrician again. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent professional atmosphere . Fast service definitely recommended!!! Where ill be goin from now on..!
My husband has worked in numerous urgent cares for 15 years. He brought our son in two weeks ago because he was showing signs of strep. After waiting for an hour, my husband noticed he was getting skipped in line. The receptionist noticed and walked back to talk to someone. About 15 minutes later he was finally seen. My husband thought the PA was nice and brushed off getting skipped in line. Our son had a positive strep test and was put on antibiotics for 10 days.Yesterday afternoon my son started complaining about a sore throat again. This morning we kept him home from school and my husband called NextCare and explained his symptoms are returning and asked for another dose of amoxicillin. Through his many years of working at various urgent cares this is a common practice. NextCares response was Since its been 14 days we cant prescribe another dose. So now in order to get another dose of amoxicillin we will have to go in and pay our co pay again.Instead of going to NextCare today we will be supporting a different urgent care. Unfortunately we dont agree with this particular policy that they have in place.
The girls were overwhelmed with patients but were always very polite and cordial. The nurse practitioner was super, and Tony treated me so well.
Great experience, checked in online. Forgot my card, but they take nfc payments. Triage was quick, PA was kind and understanding. A great option when youre GP is booked! Thank you!
Front desk associate was GREAT - friendly, personable, attentive, professional. Intake was great, staff friendly. However, I was extremely uncomfortable when the provider entered my room, to the point I was in tears. She didn’t introduce herself or who she was, I felt like the provider didn’t want to come near or give me a thorough assessment (I understand we’re in a Pandemic but a patient seeking medical care should still be given an appropriate and thorough assessment), she said I “just looked red” to which I replied, yes I look really red but if you came closer you’d see that I have blisters and rash on my face, it’s extremely itchy, feels like pins and needles, I can’t sleep - she didn’t respond to this and showed no empathy or concern - I felt like I was a bother to her - then she asked me what I wanted to do about my present condition to which I replied I’m not sure - I wouldn’t know how to treat my medical ailment - she said she would give me an injection but didn’t tell me the name of the medication, didn’t explain to me any possible side effects of the injection or the medication she prescribed to me. Patients’ medical conditions are extremely personal and each person handles their condition/concern differently, and it would be good for this provider to remember that if she wants to build trust and rapport with patients.
Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Quick appointments, and quick-in-and-out. I feel very confident in the care that I have received when I have visited this clinic.
Thank you for being there for my roommate. We did not have a long wait and the staff is very personable and professional. He got his labs back really fast and was relieved to find out the results. Would recommend your Urgent Care to anyone. Again, thank you
You’re always really professional. They get me in quick, in and out. They take their time with me and I need them to. But they’re great. Never had any issues with them that were medical related or time related. Professionalism is key for them. Everybody makes mistakes and one time they cut my license but that was no big deal. I got it back and was glad they held it in a safe place. Other than that, they give excellent care, the doctor is Karen, the staff is wonderful and quick. How hard is it to work in an environment like that during Covid and post Covid. I think they’re wonderful
I was pleasantly surprised! A very warm, caring and professional staff. Not only did they fix me... They made sure there were no additional problems... Very thorough! The second time I went was great too! Even though they had to refer me to the ER, Emily was kind enough to write down her suggestions for them and that saved me a lot of time! I would not hesitate to come here!
Great experience when I cut my finger and needed urgent care. Great staff! I’m not going to say cutting my finger was a great experience, but their care was first rate.
WORST service and RUDE staff! They make you wait for more than 2 hours even when you have a scheduled appointment and for no reason. They are low on staff and when I try to enquire very politely the lady nurse was so RUDE. Dont have any manner to talk. How is this an urgent care facility if there are no staff to attend. They dont care about patients. Stay away from this facility!
Billed $290 for a 6 minute telehealth call. Apparently this is the standard for a level 3 severity as I was told when I called to inquire. When I asked why it was classified like this since it was such a short call about something pretty non-severe they wouldnt provide any more information or further explain.
As a lifelong asthmatic with frequent bouts of bronchitis, this year has been particularly challenging. Fortunately, I booked an appointment with Next Care and got in the same day. Of all the urgent cares I have visited, this one stands out. From compassionate care, start to finish, its outstanding. Michelle listened to my concerns and came up with a treatment plan. Thank you so much!
I had an unknown cause of sore throat and needed care when my regular doctor wasn’t available. I checked in online and was seen within a reasonable amount of time. The vitals nurse, Tony, was super friendly and genuinely caring. The PA I saw, can’t remember her name, answered all my questions but seemed tired. Overall it was a good experience and I was in and out within an hour.
I’ve been coming here for years! Emily LITERALLY saved my life. I had a hole in my lung & Emily knew me well enough to know there was a major problem, even though I couldn’t express the pain I was in.It didn’t show up on the X-ray, but she INSISTED I go to an ER. I made a deal with her that I would go too a standing ER. She called let them know I was coming & what she thought was the problem. She was right!! I ended up in the hospital for 4 days with a chest tube! I love Emily & Alisande(probably spelled her name wrong & I’m sorry about that)cause I love her.
Staff Tony and Emily were very personal and professional! We appreciate everything these healthcare workers do for us, even at great risk to their own families. My only suggestion for this location is that the front desk be a little more friendly and considerate of their patients and get a little more Chick-fill-a with the appointment process (speed it up).
I was a walk in patient yesterday at the William Cannon location. Not an emergency. Needed the test to attend a gathering this weekend. I was scheduled late in the day at another NextCare location but they ran out of testing kits. Once I was able to talk with someone (that took a while) she found an alternate location with kits. When I arrived, again, no appointment, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and advised my wait would be at least an hour. No choice, I needed the test.Once I was seen, Tony, was professional, understanding, kind and made the appointment as pleasant as possible. These professionals are exhausted, working long hours, multiple shifts, short staffed and as everyone else, so tired of all the craziness going on right now.I could not have asked for a better experience! Was I frustrated to have to go out of my way to another location, leave work in the middle of the day to get to the new location, wait longer than planned, yes! But this is the world we live in right now and to be helped by friendly, patient understanding professionals was a blessing! Thank you to each of the staff members at NextCare William Cannon and to the receptionist at Cypress Creek!
Very caring staff. They treated me in office for a respiratory issue and started me on meds. I was able to sleep after that without waking up every 5 minutes coughing. Much improved!
The staff were very sweet and caring. The process was very slow though after checkin- I think just due to limited staff but once we got in- they were very helpful. I would go there again.
There are lots of very good reviews for this urgent care so I was hopeful. But we had a very disappointing experience. My husband went in for an insect bite that got infected. It was a Sunday and we had checked in online for a 12:30pm appointment. We came in and there was no one waiting. A gentleman came after us but was seen before my husband. My husband ended up waiting inside almost 40 minutes and when the physician came in, she said she had to attend to the other person first because they had stitches to be removed. Thats fine, but she didnt even spend 2 minutes to examine my husbands wound. She just looked at it and said it was healing, no antibiotic prescription or anything. My sister-in-law, whos a nurse, said to ask if it needed to be lanced and drained but the physician said no to that as well. Three days later, the wound looks worse and still looks infected. The only good thing I can comment on is the receptionist that day, who was very nice. Other than that, there was no care received from this urgent care.
First time here! The Medical receptionist was super helpful, and the check in process was quick. And both the MA and Provider were great. Will definitely be going back when I cant get in to see my PCP.
The reeptionist was very attentive andProfesional. The nurse/technician was very patient and attentive when requesting information about my medical history. The attending physician was kind andknowlegable about my condition. The visitTo this health care provider was very pleasant over all.
I received prompt and professional service regarding my foot issue. Their technology made it easy to find them, register and check in.
Everyone was super helpful and incredibly kind. The nurse explained each step and the PA was attentive and treated both my kiddo and I with respect.
Thank Goodness for NextCare. They were able to see my grandson quickly and get us on our way. They were friendly and patient. Made the process every easy during a stressful time
I had an allergic reaction to my skin and called to set up an appt. They were booked but said to come as a walk-in. We were there within 15mins, did online check in on my phone and was seen within 5mins after that. Once I was in the dr came right away. She saw that we were in Chiefs gear and gave us a game update right away. She was incredibly kind & had such friendly bedside manor! She looked at my skin issue, came back with a shot and prescription and we were out the door in less than 10minutes! Absolutely wonderful experience!
The wait time was short. The staff was great with my children. FNP Ryan was great! He explained everything in plain English so I could understand what was wrong and what I need to do to help my children get better. THANK YOU NEXTCARE URGENT CARE for making my visit fast and easy!!! Keep up the great work!
This is a great Urgent Care. The Doctor was very nice and did a great job on my stitches. It took 2 1/2 hours but that’s how it is these days. Would definitely go back for anything I needed taking care of.
Tony, one of the RNs, was fantastic. My daughter, who has anxiety, came in for a strep test. She got really anxious about the thought of a swab up her nose and started to bawl. He was so gentle, patient, and funny...and it came out so naturally! He is really great with kids and my daughter ended up laughing. No medical professional has ever been able to do that with her.
Ive had to come here twice in the last month - once for a laceration on my face and once for a UTI. Both times I used their call ahead system and only waited 5-10 minutes before seeing someone. The medical staff are all very pleasant and attentive. The facility is clean and well equipped. I felt very well taken care of (and also they fixed my face up nicely).
They provide amazing care and get you in and out quickly. They are truly amazing! Especially, Emily Olson and Tony! This was my second time seeing them for asthma issues and both times, I have felt like I got great care and treated so well.
Five stars, with gratitude. I had been experiencing throat pain for 5 days which took a turn for the worse, making it very difficult to swallow even refrigerated yogurt. My normal clinic had no available time slots for several more days, so I decided to look into local urgent-care centers that were in-network with my PPO: NextCare on Wm. Cannon was on the list, and less than 10 minutes away. I arrived as a walk-in, was easily able to complete all the new-patient paperwork on my iPhone, and was called in to the exam room almost as soon as I had signed in. The attending medical professionals were extremely friendly and very thorough. The best part is that the diagnosis and accompanying Rx were spot-on: I took my first dose that evening, slept through the night, and awakened in the morning to find that the throat issue was almost entirely gone! Great customer service, medical problem solved. Cant thank NextCare enough.
I couldn’t believe what a positive experience I had here. The facility is nice and clean, all the staff were kind and caring, and I was able to be seen in a timely manner. I want to particularly commend the care shown to me throughout my time there; I was listened to, respected, and cared for. I fainted after getting something done, which is common for me; what is uncommon was how kind and caring the staff was after the fact. They took it seriously and made very sure I was well before leaving. When the same thing last happened to me at my primary care clinic, the nurse seemed bored and inattentive. On top of all that, I really like what I see of the app/technology they’re using and how easy it makes it to make an appointment. I was so anxious about needing to go to an urgent care clinic, but this will be my go-to from now on - though hopefully I don’t need it often! :)
Was seen within 1 hour even though we walked in. The staff handled our insurance without a problem. We brought my medical history with me to aide Mario with our background which helped. Emily was attentive, professional, and knew right away how to help me. She identified the appropriate medicine to prescribe which has made my recovery a quick one. I feel well cared for from my experience at this facility.
The staff here is very kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We went on Sunday shortly before they closed and they helped us quickly and efficiently. They even stayed late so my son’s tests could process to ensure we got the best care. Thank you! Highly recommend!
No use in scheduling an appointment online and showing up 30 minutes early. Sure filling out paperwork on your phone is great. But waiting for an hour just to get your son shots is not good. Also waiting in your car seems futile cause you can’t tell when you go in. Never again will I use this place. All my son needs is shots so he can be enrolled in school.
Had a bit of a disappointing experience here. I arrived on Sunday and called about getting a delayed-results COVID-19 test. They said they couldnt accommodate walk-ins for delayed results COVID-19 testing and asked me to schedule an appointment for Monday. I did so and arrived 8 minutes early for that appointment. After calling to check in from my car per instructions, I waited 15 minutes past my appointment time and called back to follow up -- they said it would just be another 10 minutes. 15 minutes passed and nothing, so I called back one final time and let them know I would need to reschedule if I couldnt be seen within 45 minutes of my appointment time, since I was on a 1.5 hour lunch break and had to be back at work afterward. They called me at 1pm, 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time and said they were ready to see me. Unfortunately, Id had to make the call to go back to work by then. Walk-in or appointments are both fine with me, but its hard to schedule if appointments are being seen 60 min after arrival!
This clinic was quick and easy. Ms. Davis was not only extremely educational with the exam but had an amazing bedside manner. She spoke to me about my visit, my options and the best course of action. I highly recommend this urgent care clinic to anyone! I would like to send a huge thank you to Alisande Davis (PAC) and Rogelio Fernandez for there compassion and support.
Ive been coming for 9 years for any sudden health issues. Always a great experience. The doctors and the staff are professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, consistently kind and compassionate.
From the front desk to the intake and then on to the appt with the doctor, my grandson and I were treated with such kind, considerate and professional care. Thank you NextCare!!
Horrible Logistics before you enter the door:1. The online form you enter is never reviewed, I expressly said I was there for a annual physical, no pushback by form or staff, given a confirmation code and forms to fill out2. Logistics at site - they text you to check in, have FREAKIN signs posted saying no one can wait in the lobby due to health ordinances regarding COVID…I wait in my car a hour to be first on the list, become first and wait another 15 min, walk to see why I didn’t get a txt…people in the lobby! The front desk attendant WASNT EVEN AWARE I CHECKED IN!! Then they hand me a Covid questionnaire!!! They have a freakin QR code for telling you to sign in but don’t check it and can’t have the questionnaire there also, but sure as days your insurance form.3. They don’t do annual physicals…I expressly googled annual physical and they popped up, no where did it say otherwise! Then the attendant asks, gets told no, and staff tells me NO and they can “give a recommendation of somewhere that can” So I drove 30 minutes and waited a hour+ just to waste my time. The incompetence was beyond me!Moral of the story, if they can’t even manage their logistics properly would you really trust them with your health. I on God could only imagine the abhorrent quality of treatment rendered, good enough for the unwise sure, but proofs in the pudding and their front side service was egregiously lacking, so I could only imagine the health services they render. All statements rendered are from personal experience and a personal opinion by reviewer, not to be misconstrued as baseless allegations or deformation, simply stating observed facts from reviewers point of view 😉✌🏽
They are outstanding in every way. They can usually see you the same day. They have always diagnosed me quickly and correctly. They always give me the correct prescription and lots of information. We are so lucky to have them in our area.
Easy to register, even for a walk-in. I was able to wait in my car until they were ready for me. They quickly took care of me and provided me with paperwork, diagnosis and called in a prescription to my preferred pharmacy. And my insurance fully covered the whole visit. Will definitely return.
I’ve been going here for four or five years and they always treat me with a great amount of respect and spend as much time with me as I need. Even when they’re stressed and overburdened, I always get the care I need. I highly recommend them, they are very knowledgeable, the staff is always great, and they genuinely like each other and work well together. They are a good team.
Walk in at 8am, was pleasantly surprised at the short wait. Staff was pleasant and informative, and the online questionnaire was no hassle at all. The best news is, apparently these covid tests have gotten considerably less nasally-invasive and uncomfortable- I didnt bleed on this one at all.
This facility was a great option for a TB test needed for the state of TX. I appreciated that the office smelled clean. The wait was a bit longer than I’d like (about an hour) but this makes sense if there is only 1 nurse and 1 doctor.
Went in for a possible thumb fracture. Was seen and x-rayed within 15 minutes. Saved time and money over ER visit. If it is minor and after hours, I recommend NextCare.
Went in for tooth pain that started during the weekend and I couldnt get seen by a dentist. Dr. Blake was great. Quick, friendly and did what she could to help ease the discomfort until I can see a dentist Monday. The wait was long, over an hour, but that is to be expected on the weekend.
Great experience. I avoid urgent care centers as a general rule but was desperate today (concerned I had strep after several days of sore throat). Front desk was efficient and friendly (I called before I went in and followed her advice to reserve my time slot beforehand - I definitely recommend doing that online).Dr. MacFarlane was very professional. I especially appreciated that she was interested in diagnosing the issue and not just writing me a prescription. I will definitely use this NextCare facility in the future.
Saved a trip to my doctors! What would have made me wait till Monday was done on a Sunday afternoon. I was in an out in a very reasonable amount of time. The staff were very friendly, the location was clean and convenient! I would recommend this location.
I had a HORRIBLE experience at this location. I arrived to my appointment early and checked in I was asked by the front desk in a rude manner Why I needed bloodwork. I then was told to take a seat while I was waiting the front desk was talking about me saying it was “f ridiculous how patients don’t know what they’re coming in for” when I just wanted to speak to the provider. I go up to the front and ask why shes talking about me then I get yelled at for no reason and they cancel my appointment “ because they have the power to do so” This individual also states they are the manager when I asked to speak to the manger. It turns out they weren’t the manager because the manager gave me a phone call after I left. I will never be coming back to this organization nor do I recommend it to anyone I know. I work in customer service and this is not how you treat somebody especially not in a medical setting.
Mozinga, PA saw me a day after finding out I was pregnant. It was confirmed in office and I was prescribed Macrobid for a UTI which is not recommended for the first trimester. I am currently experiencing a possible miscarriage. I tried to call this location to kindly inform them that Macrobid isn’t recommended so that they know for future cases, but there’s no way to get through without getting rerouted to a call center. Keflex is recommended during the first trimester and I have no allergies so do not understand why this wasn’t prescribed when I had expressed concern about Macrobid while in office. The whole crew was very friendly and kind otherwise.
Very good experience. Everyone at the clinic was very friendly. My daughter had a cut that required stitches. We were seen quickly, the PA was very gentle and the stitches were done well.
Great overall experience! We came as a walk-in for a Sports Physical. The facility was clean and organized. We had a short wait, and absolutely no issues. Highly recommend!
Professional, friendly and always ready to help you whether youre a scheduled visit or a Walk-In. The William Cannon location wait time is less than 30-minutes!
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. In and out in 30 minutes.
Used to come here all of the time as their wait was never an issue but today was a whole different story. Been waiting for almost 2 hours after we made an appointment and still sitting in the lobby. If they are understaffed, they need to let us know beforehand so don’t waste time waiting forever. Their online portal needs to indicate these things.
The people and care received were great. I get very annoyed with wait times in the medical space. I had a set appt for 10:40 and wasn’t seen until 11:10. There was one walk-in ahead of me. I’m required to be there 10 minutes early yet I have to wait 40 minutes for my appointment. Let’s change this.
Receptionist front desk person was extremely sweet and caring.Nurse and doctors were very thorough with excellent bedside manner taking every precaution. They are in my network with BCBS.Close by my house. They have an app that gives you your position in line so you can either wait in your car or stay at home until you’re ready to come back in for the visit.I waited in my warm comfortable car about 1 hour before i was seen. I visited today 1/2/2019, which was peak sick time for doctors offices. I thought one hour was reasonable especially compared to CVS minute clinic nearby which was a 3+ hour wait.Love this place! Been going since 2011.
Asthma attack with a cough, bronchitis, allergies. The PA got me all set on right path with a shot, prescriptions and all discarge instructions. Im doing much better.
Went in today to get a COVID test and while the initial wait was a bit long (about 40 min), they called every so often to update me and ask quick screener questions to make sure once I was in, I was in and out the door. The test was fast and easy! All of the staff was friendly as well! Would definitely recommend.
It was my 1st visit and it went very smoothly. I had checked in online then filled out one form upon check in. Then met with assistant for quick history and blood pressure check. Then saw PA for exam. Then after urine check and x-rays I was given a prescription and checked out all in about an hour. A quick and pleasant experience.Thank you.
It wasnt urgent per say, but at only a 1 hour wait, it was much shorter than any ER visit I have been through. My 9 week old daughter was running an on and off fever all day and was super lethargic so we took her in. The doctor was great-more than I would have expected since we choose not to vaccinate and dont like over medicating if we can try a natural approach first- I have never experienced a doctor tell me that he was ok with us not vaccinating...and he even uses cloth diapers on his baby! This is my new place to use when any of us need someone quick.
You have to go in knowing there is a wait bc it is what it is. Physicians, nurses and front desk staff are professional, courteous and efficient.l though. It was the best last minute middle school sports physical option and we were well taken care of.
Excellent service! PA was very knowledgeable and thorough.
I made an appointment the night before for 8 am (as soon as they open). I walked in right at 8, filled out some forms, in the exam room by 8:15. My PA (Emily, I believe) was so nice and extremely prompt! All the staff I encountered wer great. She helped with an abscess and I was able to pick up my antibiotics across the street at Walgreens within 5 minutes! Best UC experience Ive ever had.
I thought the service was great. I pre-registered for my visit by phone and when I showed up, I only waited a few minutes until they took me to my exam room. The staff was very nice and attentive. 5 star attention! I was very thankful for NextCare being open on Thanksgiving.
Our experience was at this NextCare was 5 stars. My child was running a high fever with a dry cough. The staff was friendly and caring. Fast service with a knowledgeable team. Dr.Mcfarlane is the best. I would recommend NextCare to any parent looking for an alternative to the Emergency room on a Sunday morning.
After searching for COVID-19 testing locations near me I was happy to learn this was just down the street, and even better, the Curbside service marketed says I can get the test done from my car and also receive results in 15 minutes, sweet! Unfortunately, not the case. I had my appt, was taken inside into a room, nasal swabbed and given a sheet that says I can expect results in 5-7 days. When I asked about the difference, I was told the website is run by the corporate office and locations for immediate testing vary, and this location is not one that can provide immediate results. Im still giving 4 stars for friendly staff and a pleasant experience otherwise, but I feel duped with the testing results. What good does it do to wait 5-7 days to find out the results?
I will definitely recommend your Next Care to everyone. From the front desk to the nurses and doctor I was very pleased. Although the waiting room was full not one employee showed signs of rushing but was thorough with my diagnosis and was interested in my treatment. Thank you to the entire staff!Villeta Layton
Super nice, super fast, super easy. I broke my fibula and went to get an xray here. The staff was amazing, even helping me figure out the cheapest way to get everything I needed. I have no insurance and the whole appointment, including Xrays was under $300! Will definitely come here from now on.
My husband had to take in our oldest, and I our youngest at a different time, to the NextCare Urgent Care clinic on William Cannon last weekend (strep throat, scarlet fever respectively). We were so impressed with the doctors - they really took the time to listen to our concerns, explain the diagnosis and treatment protocol and deal with the barrage of questions I had. I saw Dr. Arnecilla and she was awesome, caring and thorough. The wait did take a while but I took that as a good sign, that the doctors werent rushing through their cases. NextCare is definitely our urgent care facility of choice.
Go here if you want to die waiting for them to let you in. Went in with fever and was asked to wait outside. Filled all the forms online and waited patiently. Online app showed 0 people ahead of me. After about an hour, still nothing. Went in to enquire and they said 3 more people ahead of me and cant say how much longer it will take. The front desk assistant was on phone clearly not talking to anyone but didnt bother to respond and asked me to just wait. I understand you need to wait for your turn but an Urgent care with 1 hour wait times (that too cant wait inside) doesnt make much sense. I am at home right now (2 hours) since I originally went there and still no message. I am actually feeling much better now. So looks like thats one way nextcare cures its customers. Make them wait till it gets better :)
Easiest process to get signed in. Front desk staff personable and very pleasant to talk to.Entire staff, from reception to the Dr. was thorough, efficient and cared about making sure I received the treatment I needed.
The front staff is completely RUDE “DC” started off with an attitude when I asked questions about how NextCare Urgent Care works as far as billing. It seems as she works in the complete WRONG field!! Not a happy person, very short, attitude after attitude & careless. I myself work in the medical field and when you come off with an attitude and hang up on a phone call with a patient holding for over 20mins just to be asked for my name, the get put on HOLD repeatedly with no direction, is horrible customer service!!! The staff here has terrible customer service I DON’T recommend this facility at all!!! They are short and RUDE!!!!
I got a pulled muscle, got seen shortly. All staff were extremely attentive, helpful and courteous.
Wonderful clinic! I was really sick and couldnt get in to see my regular doctor. I went to NextCare and was in and out in less than 30 minutes with the medicines I needed. The recceptionist, nurse, and doctor were all very professional and friendly. They accept a wide variety of health insurance and they have a cool online check-in system which allows you to bypass waiting at the office if there is a wait (there was only one other person when I was there). They will definitely be my go-to when I cant see my PCP in the future.
Quick and professional. Great resolution fir medical needs.
Very happy with the assistants and the doctor. When my dentist failed me and couldnt get me in for a week, NextCare was able to prescribe an antibiotic and some pain medication to get me through the weekend until my root canal appointment. Ive used them for other things too and theyre just great.
Clean Kind and Knowledgeable! I needed to find an urgent care for my baby who had an adverse(unbeknownst to us-allergic) reaction to ant bites! One that was in network and conveniently located; was needed and luckily, I chose this one on William Cannon. I wouldn’t have minded if there were a couple more items to entertain the babies/kids as the news was on(informative for adults but not kids). The kids desk and two books were used by our family, though! 😊Mario was both friendly and cool with my two year old and his 4 year old brother! My son was curious about the medical equipment and Mario didn’t brush him off, but kindly explained to my inquisitive babies what they were for! Dr. O’Brien was Knowledgeable and prompt! The receptionist was sweet. I would definitely recommend NextCare to family and friends because it is a clean, quick, straight forward and friendly 4-5 Star urgent care facility!!!
If I could negatively post a minus star. Came for help at 12:08pm, but was told I had 6 people ahead of me & sent me home after the front desk clerk swore to me & my husband that we will get notified. Finally at 5:05 pm NO CALL OR ALERT of any kind. The front desk clerk LIED directly to my face ESPECIALLY after I showed her on my phone that I had not had any calls in over 2 hrs. I am seriously in pain & now furious. I expected to get healthcare help here & am being ignored & talked down to!!!
Fast, easy, x-rays, and prescription! They had an issue w Creditcard reader, but the service and everyone who helped was very kind and clear! Thank you for a great experience.
The medical service I received at this location April 2022 was satisfactory; however their billing practices are disgraceful. I submitted all insurance information on-line after scheduling my appointmentand the receptionist made copies of my insurance cards and drivers license when I arrived at this clinic.Nextcare Urgent Care has been harassing me for payment, even after my insurance company paid the claim. I do not owe anything for this visit. This is unacceptable and I am reporting Nextcare Urgent Care to the Texas Department of Insurance for unscrupulous billing practices.
Michelle was to the point, and promptly gave me a prednisone shot in my butt to fix my strong nasal congestion. Also getting Z-Pak from HEB pharmacy. And she told me what to use and what not to use on my nose from the numerous things that I currently have. She and the assistant who gave me the shot were both great.
Place is clean and doctors/nurses/front desk are nice. Making an appointment online is easy so you can limit wait time in the waiting room. Once you’re in though, they do tell you if it’s going to be a while at that point. So if it’s flu season, be patient.
The staff was extremely helpful. Thank you so much 💗 the doctors and nurses are so kind they help save my life. I am so grateful for nextcare. I had a cat bite and they acted fast to get me the help I needed, thanks to all the staff .
When my mother visits Austin and needs a doctor we always visit this NextCare location on William Cannon. The wait is never longer than 30-45 minutes at the worst. The Physicians listen to her, ask plenty of questions and take her concerns very seriously. They take thorough history and prescribe exactly what she needs. Mom is always given the respect and care that she deserves.
Making online appt is easy. We’ve used their service multiple times and always had a good experience. Prompt, kind, and professional staff!
This is a very good urgent care facility. Dr Adams is great, very friendly, easy going and knowledgeable. All the staff are professional and will take good care of you. You can check in online too, so you don’t need to wait at there for the doctor to see you.
We are new to the country and unfamiliar with the healthcare system here. The entire process of bringing my daughter in was simple and pleasant. Everyone we spoke with, from the front desk to the dr, was kind, understanding and supportive. We will definitely visit again.
Just came in with a fever and there are not doctors or nurses on-site. You get a video conference room and somebody checks you out over video call. Stay home and have a virtual adviser call you, no value add here.
Great experience, quick check in and friendly staff
Love my next care! Better than my personal physician. Prompt, thorough, kind and quick!!
I took my husband here because he needed stitches, the staff were very helpful and super nice. The visit was pretty fast, but most importantly I thought that overall the price was very reasonable for what he got done at his visit. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
First time to use NextCare Urgent Care. Even though there was a long wait because it was a holiday, the service by administration and medical staff was excellent. Online service to make appointment was great. Signup and receive all your personal information.
This is a miraculously good health-care facility. Ive been here a number of times in the past 15 years and the experience and treatment have always been top-notch. I agree with another post regarding this place - it really does feel like an accessible neighborhood medical service for those of us in the area. Thanks to all concerned!
The staff remains calm and supported in urgent situations. My daughter needed emergency care just before closing. The staff did not seem frustrated by this. They immediately took care of my daughter and helped me through the neccessary papeework. I fully recommend this location.
Had to take my husband in as a walk in, and he was seen almost immediately and everyone was very nice and helpful.
My visit there was very pleasant and the staff very courteous and professional. The price is also reasonable. I would recommend anyone and everyone did I know doesnt already have a primary position to go there. The position Hayley Wilson and her staff are very thorough.
We have been here twice and both times we were in and out. The nurse Deb who saw us is so sweet and nice and always makes my son feel good when hes not feeling good.
I went in to get my back checked out after falling on some ice. I was a walk-in and only waited about half an hour! I was very impressed. It was a pretty straightforward visit, but they listened to me and gave me what I needed. Thank you!
