Amazing staff, explains everything, allows you time to ask questions and concerns. Only downside if that you have to be patient for your appointment wait time. Expect to wait around 45mins-hour after your original appointment time to get in. Overall it was well worth it and staff are super nice!!!

Worst experience of my life. I called in advance to make sure I would have a FEMALE PRESENTING PROVIDER for my Pap smear. Not a very big ask. I show up, wait quite some time for my appointment despite being early, finally I get to the back & undress for the exam with a doctor I haven’t even met yet. I’m naked from the waist down when this MAN walks in. I say freeze immediately. I requested a female presenting provider despite being nonbinary and on testosterone because I have massive trauma with men and people who present male specifically. Guy with a full beard walks in, I freeze, all I can see on his name tag is “security” and I can’t see his name anywhere. At this point I’m certain I’m about to be assaulted again. I start having an anxiety attack and shaking. I can’t think, about anything but getting out of there. I tell the doctor and she sits me down in the room i think to try and calm me down but being trapped in that small room was just making me freak out further. I’m honestly thinking about suing for the trauma. I’ve had flashbacks several times a day since this happened Monday. Nothing was done to make the situation right. I finally left with a new appointment which I cancelled afterwards. I will never go back here.

Ive been going to buffalo planned parenthood since I was a pre teen, im 37 now. Theyve always been amazing, I loved the main street staff, the nurses knew me by name and would get excited to see me every 3 months, ask how my animals were by name. When I would leave my depo appointment, Id schedule my next one for 3 months, easy. For some reason they stopped letting people do that, they said you must wait 3 months until youre almost due to schedule. The issue is, when I remember that Im almost due, I go to the portal, and appointments are booked up for a Month. Ive been several weeks late for my shot since this was implemented, my hormones out of whack, pregnancy scares, spotting, ive driven an hour away to different locations just to get an appointment. Right now because of the impossible scheduling system and holidays, Im nearly 2 months late for my shot! I am just taking the morning off work to get it today because I cant wait another day. This system is ridiculous.

If I could give this establishment a 0 star review, I would. Not only is it difficult to get an in person appointment, it’s almost impossible to successfully schedule an appointment through their online system. I scheduled an appointment for an urgent medical need and went in for the appointment. They told me that the appointment was not successfully scheduled and that I needed to go to an Urgent Care. I asked to speak to a manager. The front staff woman came back and told me that the manager was in a “meeting” for the next 2 and a half hours and that if I wanted to talk to her, I could come back at that time. I’ve been using Planned Parenthood for over 17 years. They seem to care so little for their patients and their urgent medical needs that I will never go back. What is the point of funding Planned Parenthood if you can’t successfully schedule an appointment and management does not care about patient needs?

I made appointment weeks ago to confirm my pregnancy but unfortunately last week I was admitted to bGH Emergency room and they confirmed my pregnancy. I called planned parenthood and informed them it was confirmed the rep on the phone told me since my pregnancy was confirmed my appointment would change to an ultrasound appointment. I gets to the appointment only for the doc to tell me that they don’t see patients after the pregnancy is confirmed I feel scammed and don’t feel like my insurance company should cover it I was lured there due to being told false information from their phone representative they are just looking to charge insurance they didn’t do nothing for me besides HIV TEST I ASKED FOr to make the time I WAS WAITING FOr the doctor GO BY FASTER. I would not recommend anyone to this facility on e Amherst in buffalo ny ✌🏾 the nurse Ms shay was very nice though and I called the day before to cancel the appointment

I have given 3 stars only because of the 1 nice lady that checked me in and the look of the new building. Some of the new staff not so great. I had a afternoon appointment (came in on time) but was left sitting in the waiting room for over an hour watching the receptionist dance shake her long braids, laugh & talk extra loud about everything except what needs to be discussed in a professional work place.Several other people were called before me that had just walked in the door. After 1 hr & 20 minutes the waiting area began to fill up fast. I then got up & asked whats going on and they told me they didnt even know I was there! How is that even possible when I walked in gave my name, date of birth & urine sample as requested! I miss the the old staff on Main Street. They always had me in and out& on my way all within 20-35 min

As a male patient, I had fantastic care for STD testing. The staff from the receptionist to the nurses was fantastic and makes you feel safe and okay during a worrisome time. A few days later when my STD results were negative, the nurse who spoke to me called and told me she would refer me to urology. My primary issue isnt with this location, but with the fact that Planned Parenthood does not test for Mycoplasma or Ureaplasma, both of which I believe need to be recognized as STDs. Other local clinics do test for Mycoplasma, however it is very difficult to find a test for Ureaplasma.

When you’re having actual problems and don’t just need a pap and birth control script...they are awful. Twice I’ve had to make appointments with a “real” obgyn to be treated and that makes me really sad. Basic testing is covered but treatments aren’t even considered and they don’t even know who to refer you to. Useless.
