Danyzia, Lakeynn, and Xena were great and very understanding. Appreciate the ways they went above and beyond their occupation requirements. Very sincere and family oriented staff. I would have given this location a 5 star but there is ONE young lady in the back rooms image description: she is short, curly hair in a pony tail and she wear glasses. She was the worst employee to encounter during this procedure and or visit. She was very rude, bossy and pushy (simply because the office was about to close. Even my family member did not approve of her behavior after the procedure and how she SENDS patients OUT the door. EVERYONE and EVERYTHING else at this facility was perfect, excluding that one bad apple staff member.Highly recommend this location.
The office staff was friendly and helpful. The ladies in the back were also friendly and helpful. Dr. Ward was professional, informative, and so kind. The wait time when I went was not as bad as I expected. You will have to wait a few hours but that’s just how it is. I’m very thankful for this place and would recommend it to anyone.
If you want quick and easy this isn’t the place for you. It’s overall efficient but service and time managed ? No not at all. Todays my second time to be here to receive the pill I came at 7:40-7:50 minutes before they opened and was the 4th person standing in line so being that they let us in around 8:00 and I was told because I was getting the pill the sit to the side so they could get the procedural people put the way. No problem but when I noticed I was the only one not signing anything or asked again what the going on and they answered but I guess wasn’t fully understanding on my end until I mentioned I’ve already had my consultation and THEN I was asked if I had signed anything and I said No and 2 hours have passed since I arrived and I wasn’t checked in or anything. So respectfully the service could’ve been better and if you gonna have a first come first serve ordeal don’t schedule “appointments “ if we won’t be seen until 3-4 hours later
So, I haven’t actually gone here yet but just some words of advice. Be ready to be on hold FOREVER! Every time I call I’m on hold for 3hrs MINIMUM! Yesterday I was on hold for 6hrs and still never got to speak to anyone because they closed. You get put in que and then say you start off by being caller 45, you’ll get all the way to being 1st in line and they’ll put you right back in 30-40th place in line. It’s so frustrating when your waiting that long. And it happens over and over while you’re waiting. Just be prepared to be on hold forever because you will be. And it’s the same exact lady every time I call. So I don’t know if it’s only one person taking calls but it’s ridiculous. They should fix this issue asap.
My doctor referred me to the clinic. Ive been calling for the first week and I cant get anyone to talk to me. And I went to the clinic after that... they gave me 1 number. Ive been calling for 3 weeks and I cant get anyone to talk to me. with me to make an appointment
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Staff took the time to explain in depth what steps would be taken to carry out the decision I had chosen. Dr. Swallow was amazing!!! I would definitely recommend this office if you’re in search for somewhere to go.
For the situation at hand, I could not recommend a group of humans to better care for you. Every single person I came across met me with ease and comfort. I never felt pushed one way or the other and was made extremely comfortable throughout the entire experience. Dr. G and Mrs. Heidi went out of their way to calm my anxiety and I’ll forever be grateful to them. Not the situation anyone looks forward to, but I wish these 2 were my primary physicians. Highly recommended, especially for those needing the extra tender love. P. S if you are visiting AWC Charlotte and you happen to sit in the back in a waiting room, read the purple notebooks. You won’t regret it. 🫶🏻
This is a horriblePlace to receive any service, the management is less than competent. What they do is schedule patients back to back and have them waiting for several hours. The customer service is very, very poor. The patient advocate ( who refused to give her name), is absolutely inept. She has no idea on how to successfully advocate for any patient. The reception made everyone stand up instead of sitting down in the chairs in the waiting room. There is literally more than 35 people packed on a small waiting room with little to no ventilation and with CoVid on the rise again, that is simply not smart. They made my daughter leave because I questioned the patients advocates inability to control the situation. Then I called and asked for another manager, the manager took her side and these clowns cancelled my daughters appointment after we drove all the way from Atlanta to get this procedure done. I feel bad for people who feel as though they have no options, we left there and went straight to another clinic and accomplished our intended goal. This doctor is only concerned with making fast money and not the quality of care or customer service. Do yourself a favor, find somewhere else to go for care, since N.C. I recognizes the need for this treatment. I made a second appointment because I did not know what to expect at this place, good thing I did, these people are idiots. They are absolutely incompetent. What is worse is that they used their power and position to deny services because they do not know how to run the business efficiently, and when someone calls them out on that, they get mad and take it out on the patient. Ridiculous. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I had a wonderful experience as a patient with A Woman’s Choice of Charlotte. Every member of the staff was patient, kind, respectful, and made me feel supported the entire time. Wait times were not bad at all-even if they had been longer, the care I received would have made up for anything.
Dr. G is one of the best physicians I’ve encountered. He truly cares about each patient. During my visit I had heightened anxiety. He took the time to understand my medical history and provided me with informed recommendations. If I had it my way, he would be my primary physician. The remaining of the staff was pleasant and willing to answer all questions and concerns. Dr. G certainly was the best part of my experience at AWCC
Highly unprofessional establishment. Patients are scheduled what it seems to be at the same time 830am...as you set and wait for them to get some business and start checking people which didnt start until about 9am, you hear the conversations held behind the glass with patients no regard to the Patients privacy...I dont know law but I know the HIPPA law. Clearly stating other Patients name for everyone to hear. I know there was a Ms. Johnson there. From curse words being used openly, by the what seemed to be the head lady upfront at least, to music being played loud enough to be heard in the waiting room.112 Anywherethe song to be exaxt.. completely unsettling and I am man. I feel for the women that use this place. Stay away from this place find a more reputable place to have an abortion. We will....
Tried to call as soon as they opened, immediately had a wait time. It said I was 13th in line, then 14th, Then 19th, then 25th and so on until it automatically hangs up on you! If you have that many callers have more representatives to answer calls, Ive been waiting to talk to someone for hours which is ridiculous.
This place does not care about you they care about being right over your actual health and wellbeing. I continued to tell them that my procedure did not go properly after having this confirmed by a doctor and they continued to ignore me as if i didn’t know my own body. They were rude and got an attitude with me on several occasions just because I requested additional care after my initial visit. When you call to speak to the clinic you cant even get directly to the clinic you get directed to a customer call center where they are equally as ride and non concerned!
Upon arrival you will be met by a literal “inside rainforest” type feel that took away my initial anxiety. Like a safe haven, Let me start by saying this place is amazing, from the friendly receptionists, nurses & doctors. The process will never be an in and out process, I’d rather wait a longer period of time than to be 10-15 women packed in a waiting room like dogs. They had 2 separate comfortable waiting areas with lots of accommodations & I only saw 1 other woman in the other waiting room. Got to meet the owner as well before I got put to sleep & she is AMAZING ❤️ I had to thank her after for making me feel comfortable as well. 10/10 !
I had a terrible experience. Don’t ever go here if you want proper care. They will not return your calls on the emergency line and they wrote down the wrong date for me to return for my check up. I live over an hour away and had to take off work to be there. And they ensured me at my check up that everything would pass based on what they saw on the ultrasound. It, in fact, did not pass and I had to have surgery yesterday.
I arrived to my appointment around 10 am. Off gate the receptionist was extremely nice warming & welcoming. Before my process started she was more than confident & reassured my grandmother & I that I would be treated with much care. My wait time was not long at all so I would recommend going during the week, also because I didn’t see many protesters. There were only 2 ladies standing at the entrance pulling into the parking lot & the setting of the clinic is almost hidden. So, after waiting about 5-10 minutes (SHORT WAIT TIME) I was called to the back. I completed my ultrasound, my blood pressure, sugar & iron levels were taken, & I began the pre-operation process. Every single one of the ladies that assisted were super nice! If you do not have allergies towards sedation/ anesthesia medications .. I highly recommend getting their moderate sedation. I absolutely do not remember my process one bit & following the procedure I had little to no complications, pain, cramps..etc. Even though this is an unfortunate experience to have to go through, they made it an awesome experience for me and I would recommend them to anyone in need of an abortion! Big Thank You to all the sweets ladies, you are greatly appreciated.
I give this facility 10 Stars. I am a grandma and took my 17 year old to Women’s Choice and the services are amazing. The office is warm and welcoming. It is quiet and calming when your enter, after walking through a large area of an open indoor garden in the court yard . The is clean and staff are extremely knowledgeable of any and all gynecological services being performed. They take very good care of you and explain what is going to be done prior to your exam etc..They made good sound and reasonable suggestions, yet I never felt pressured into saying yes to anything. My granddaughter was well taken care of and I want to say thank you to all whom cared for her today. Bless you all !!
Front desk associate was unhelpful . I came from ATL to NC. I arrived one hour late for my appointment, she kept telling me that I need to reschedule when I requested her to tell manager that, am coming from out of state. she denied. I see RN coming out, I requested her she was able to help me.
Everyone was amazing. They really take care of you. The Doctor was so nice and my favorite nurse Heidi treated me like family and made me feel comfortable the entire time!
Went in today very nervous but the nurses there made me feel a lot more comfortable. Only problem was that it seemed like it took forever to call me back to the procedure room, but once I got into the room they had given me more medication and next thing you know I was leaving the building. Highly recommend this place also they have a funding program that helps out a lot.
This place is terribly organized, they schedule everyone’s appointments for the same time so we sit up here for hours and wait.. oh and the owner is going to comment on the reviews and say it’s the wrong place . A Preferred Women’s Choice is would never!! Oh and they’ll have you on hold and hang up too.
This is the WORST clinic I ever experienced with. First time I made my appointment two weeks prior, the lady on the phone DID NOT explain in details about the consultation have to be 72 hours before your appointment, I drove 4hrs to get here and tell me I can’t have a my appointment cause I didn’t have my consultation with the nurse. Wasted my TIME, MONEY AND GAS. Had to drive back another 4hrs next week, appointment at 830am and nobody is in the office! Waited over an hour and still waiting as I’m writing this review. DO NOT COME HERE, I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE
If you are here searching comfort READ THIS!!!***Before I get started with my review, be prepared to stay anywhere from 4 to 6 hours. Also be prepared for 5 other patients to have your same appointment time. EXPECT LONG HOURS WITH NO PHONE. You’ll survive I promise.****Let me tell you something, you are going to read the reviews and you will see some bad, and some good. At the end of the day everyone has their own experience and their own story.I drove from Atlanta Georgia to a woman’s choice in Charlotte North Carolina. I struggle with anxiety and fear. I was nervous the entire time and it did not help that while I was in the waiting room there was an issue with a patient. me and the other females that were in the waiting room we’re really afraid because the fire department showed up and they had to call 911 because of an “issue“ The patient was having. We heard crying by multiple people and the wait was tumultuous. To make matters worse, I was next after all of that drama! I was horrified! I was nervous!, But, I also knew that I was not them. My body was not their body and my experience would not be their experience. I prayed and I believed that God was going to get me through. I went into the procedure room and I expressed my fears. The doctor gave me instructions that I decided to follow to the T! They gave me the IV anesthesia and it worked instantly. The procedure felt no longer than a pap-smear and I do not remember any pain or discomfort. My procedure was quick and easy. I had no bad affects with the medication, no cramping, no pain, and I was able to go home shortly after. I was extremely tired and I needed rest. Moral of the story, I could have let someone else’s trauma ruin my experience and allowed their story to become my own. You are your own person and you WILL survive this! Do not let other peoples experience deter you from making the decision that is best for you. It does not matter what happens to them, just know that you are protected by God and stay strong! The wait time is tedious but the actual procedure is in and out. I promise you will be OK. I hope that this gives you the comfort that you were looking for. By the way I was 7weeks.
Love how there were no protestors harassing the customers .Here’s my experience:I arrived 30 mins before my appointment showed my ID and made my payment. The front desk women ask if you’re driving yourself or someone else, if someone else then you’ll need them present. Your vitals are taken and your finger is pricked to determine your blood type. Next you go to the changing room then the waiting room for surgery. The doctor was late the day of my appointment(life happens). I arrived before 9am and left by 2:30pm. In the waiting room it is a seated area where you and other patients sit. A nurse brings you medication for anxiety, pain and nausea. Then you wait for your doctor to call you back. Since i was my driver i got minimal sedation. I chose not to get the shots in my cervix cause i heard it’s painful. The procedure itself wasn’t bad. My doctor was friendly and gentle he asked if i was ok and talked me through the procedure i felt safe with my nurses there by my side. They gave me the laughing gas which helps calm you if you breathe in and out properly. The dilation wasn’t too bad being that my pain tolerance is high it was slight cramping. The vacuum part feels a little uncomfortable and cramping but not unbearable. Getting the no sedation was a plus for me cause i was able to drive back with no issues. I didn’t bleed much after my procedure so i was cleared to leave within 30 mins. Snacks are given and water or ginger ale was offered. I recommend this facility. The staff are caring and understanding.
Unprofessional ! Called the number stayed on the phone over 30 mins no one answered called several days in a row. Went online filled out the request and received a call 3 hours later rep was very rude and wanted to rush the conversation. Gave me a date but never gave me a time. Called back for several days still no answer. Filled out another request and received an email stating I’m already booked and the date still didn’t provide a time & never responded. I went with preferred woman’s health was able to speak with rep got all information needed got financial assistance all in one call. If you guys don’t like this job do not work here it’s women everyday that need help . Please have empathy and respect.
I was supposed to have an appointment today. My sister lives in ATL & came to get me from SC but was a bit late due to them cutting traffic off on the highway in ATL. Im about 18 weeks & WE HAVE CONSTANTLY CALLED SINCE 7AM when the gps pushed her arrival time back (being that my appointment was 8:30 AM) and STILL NO ANSWER OR CALL BACK FOR RESCHEDULING !!! Its 4:50 pm on a THURSDAY now STILL NOTHING BUT HOLDS & being hung up on every chance they get! They DO NOT ANSWER‼️‼️‼️ & judging by reviews do yall even put people to sleep!? Or carefully do the procedure?!!! I wouldnt know bc you WONT ANSWER!!! 19 weeks is the CUT OFF!
This place is awful & I dont recommend it at all. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30am & it was hours before I got called back! Once called back, it took another few hours to have the procedure done! I wanted to cry and leave so bad, but I didnt want to waste the 5hr drive coming to this place! And the women at the front desk, super rude & talking and laughing at different patients. I hate I came to this place & Ill never set foot back into this place!
***Lets start by saying I am a Pre-transition male!!!*** I got in for my appointment and filled out the paperwork the give you. I was terrified of putting the pronouns I wanted to use on the form but I did. As soon as I got to the payment window, The Nurse at that window used my correct pronouns I put on the form. The same nurse corrected other nurses on my pronouns, as well as the nurse that did my ultrasound and pre checkup before the procedure. When I was lead back to the waiting room before my procedure, The nurse that was giving out pre-op meds actually asked me what my preferred name was. Ive always been scared of being trans in the south, especially when it comes to having medical procedures done because I dont want to get rejected just because im trans; but this staff made me feel so safe about being who I am. The effort each one put in to correct a nurse that made a mistake, using my dead name or wrong pronouns made me want to cry. Especially after the procedure, the nurses that attend to you in the recovery area are so delicate with each patient. Ive never felt more safe in a medical setting and I just want to thank all of the nurses at this clinic.
I am so glad that I chose a woman’s choice. I was so nervous going in because I was doing this all on my own. The front desk staff couldn’t find the email for my funding pledge and handed me the office phone to call the foundation to resend the email. Then when I got called back, all the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very thorough. When we got into the prep room the nurse that came in gave us very detailed information about what was to come without trying to scare us. When I got to the procedure room(I opted out of IV sedation due to not having a driver) the nurse and the ultrasound tech seemed to know exactly what I felt and offered me their hands to squeeze if needed. The procedure itself took maybe 5 minutes and I was led into the recovery area and offered butter cookies and ginger ale as well as given a heating pad for the cramping. So happy about my choice and I’m would recommend a woman’s choice to anyone considering an abortion. Thank you for being by my side ladies!
I had an overall positive experience when being seen as a patient last week. Having an abortion can be a hard enough choice—and choosing a facility can be just as overwhelming—so here is my honest opinion & experience at A Woman’s Choice of Charlotte for anyone who is currently trying to decide if they want to use this office.Pros-The office is in a nice medical park with no protesters outside. After your procedure you exit from a rear door. I liked that privacy. Other than some discomfort, they made sure the procedure was pain free. You are medicated and if you are further along like I was you are there for a long time but it doesn’t seem like that long while you are there since you are given medication to relax you...I even fell asleep while waiting. The staff are all kind and polite. Especially the lady who done my ultrasound and held my hand during the procedure. My price went up after having ultrasound due to being about a week further along than I originally thought. I had already charged 1400.00 to my credit card and that was all I had that day. The front office staff still made it possible for me to get financial help for the extra 400.00 or some dollars that I wasn’t prepared for. They didn’t make it seem like a pain for them or anything. If you are further along, you can be seen in one day instead of two days. The dr who seen me, a lady, was very kind also and explained what she was doing along the way. When you are in the little recovery area the lady who was back there was very nice and made sure you were comfortable and gave me a heating pad. She called my ride and walked with me outside. They send you home with Ibuprofen and birth control if you want it. I cramped ALOT for 2 days but the ibuprofen was enough to handle the pain. They schedule your appt quickly.. I think they got me seen within maybe 3 days from when I called. You feel no judgement and the staff are not rough looking like previous people have said.Cons-I don’t have many cons to list honestly. The only things that caught my attention was that there was old, dried blood spatter on the bottom of the bathroom wall. That was a little gross, but given how busy they are and that not all patients clean up after themselves I can’t completely put that on them.Privacy! There isn’t much of that once you are in the back. You are in a room filled with many other patients, which is fine, but if you are shy you would have to put that to the side. You don’t have anything on under your gown on your bottom half, obviously, so I did see a naked butt once or twice when people got up, lol. Again, that is probably to be expected and not much the staff can do about that. The TV in the back waiting area doesn’t work right in the room that I was in, so that kind of sucked! Lol. Your there a long time for a second trimester procedure so a functional tv would have been nice, but that was a minor inconvenience and once I received my medication I was so sleepy that it didn’t matter that the tv wasn’t working right anyways. You aren’t allowed to take your phone back with you once you leave the lobby so you have no outside communication with your ride. That really does suck but I understand why they don’t allow you to have your phone. Most people there want privacy. One of the girls who was waiting in the same room as me did sneak hers back and I seen her using it, but the staff doesn’t have time to police who has their phones or not. Again, they are very busy. When I scheduled the appt the lady on the phone told me I should expect to be there 2-3 hours. That may be true for first trimester procedures, but definitely not second. I was there for 6 hours. There are extra things that have to be done when you are further along that make it impossible to be in and out that quickly. It wasn’t an issue for me to be there that long, but I do wish the person on the phone would have given me correct information so I could have let my ride know ahead of time. Overall, the positives with this facility far outweigh the negatives! This is a great office with a kind staff!
Appt. setting, counseling, and check- in at this place is quick and friendly. I loved the fact they provide Saturday services, but be prepared for a all day stay if you select a Saturday appt. The approx. wait time they tell you is 3-4.... expect an additional 3-4 hours lol. Other than that, staff is wonderful, there arent any protesters outside and the atmosphere is very serene from the entrance. I would suggest some soundproofing, as the walls are so thin you can hear staff in the back assessing pt.s from the waiting room. The long wait and paper thin walls are the only reasons I didnt give this facility 5 stars. I was skeptical of this place because this was my first time here and the other place had a few better ratings than this place, but I was really comfortable here and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing services.
Some of these reviews are nonsense I had a great experience Dr grossman he is the best ..I’m black 2nd abortion here and I feel like a lot of females I was in room with lacked patience. If u get there at 9 give yourself til 4-5 to get out there …there are other patients there as well…the ladies in the abortion room are professional …if I recommend any clinic it would be this one trust this review! Also come there mentally prepared !
I had a positive experience with Carolina Center For Women. I was able to make an appointment easily, treated with casual kindness and respect, and feel good about my decision to use their services. The staff treated me well and the surgery was quick (but not painless.) I recommend their services to any woman seeking them.
The extremely rude secretary laughed at me when I told her I changed my mind and that I wanted to keep the baby as I was crying. She looked at me with disgust. Almost every staff member there did. She was rude before I walked into the back and she was very rude to me when I had decided not to continue with the process. I hope she gets fired. This environment should be supportive in guiding women in this serious decision; however, the entire time I was there I felt completely devastated with zero emotional support and only one caring and concerned person there. Although the staff was quite large. Please go somewhere else and due your research. This is scary and you should feel nothing but support.
Excellent clinic! The staff and nurses were very understanding and compassionate. Excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend reserving the private room. You will feel much mor at ease and get to have your driver with you in the back. Highly recommend this place!
I called and tried booking an appointment because I was grateful that I thought I found a place that would be the best fit for me and help me feel comfortable but that was the opposite of what happened as the lady speaking to me on the phone sounded like she had better things she could be doing then helping me. She was very unhelpful and disrespectful and at one point when I tried to clear something up she said “i don’t think you even know what you are talking about” I was trying to get all the information I could and she was being short and didn’t try and help me figure it out and also kept getting mad at me that she was spelling on my information wrong even after I repeated it to her slowly and clearly twice. I hope the clinic itself is not filled with people like this because I actually thought highly of it as it was women owned and seemed to be very welcoming. Unfortunately due to this experience I shall not be going here. Best luck to everyone else.
Do your research before selecting this facility. Id like to call it an office, or better a center for women as they prefer to be called but its honestly anything but. Yes, their doctor has been performing these procedures for over 20 years and is a great physician. Their adolescent staff is another issue altogether. I visited this facility in April and had no complications whatsoever with my surgical option. But the day I arrived for my appointment they told me I was less weeks along than estimated and I could opt for the pill instead. This would mean I would have to come in on another day however so I immediately and politely declined the pill and was then shuffled through hallways and rooms with other women. I could hear my name being shouted amongst the nurses across the office which immediately sends confidentiality red flags! The doctor was apparently due at another hospital for a patient being induced in labor and he was behind with the overbooking of patients his staff had that day. It wasnt because I could have the pill opted for me, but more so that their doctor could not facilitate the amount of patients he had and arrive at Novant hospital on time. The nurses were confused the doctor was confused and I awaited patiently to be seen. I elected to pay extra for a sadol (spelling may be incorrect) injection to help give myself more comfort and less pain during the procedure. During the surgical part I was calm and quiet and took deep breaths as instructed with little to no hesitation on my part. Other patients in recovery were screaming and crying while I was so comfortable I was asking the girls if they were ok. Unfortunately a few months later I called for information regarding a procedure. The receptionist put me on hold and grabbed my file which stated that I would be required to visit another facility due to the discomfort and complaining the doctor noted on my file. I was shocked as well as my sister because this did not describe the experience I had at all. I was calm, helpful and left smiling because I was relieved it wasnt as bad as I assumed. The doctors records show a false documentation of my behavior during the visit and I became so upset having these people read me this information. This staff is highly unprofessional, confused about whom they are treating and when and tend to falsely identify their own mistakes and blame their patients for their wrong doings and management issues. Womens Center.. Please! This practice is a joke, and if you listen closely you will hear the nasty, judgemental things their staff will say about your body as well. I heard several insensitive comments made about girls in the office younger than myself that made me try to be more comforting to the women around me. Horrible nurses and a very judgemental staff make this very uncomfortable experience worse. Take my advice and read the reviews below me. Im not the only person they have done this to. Men have also seen their significant others go through exactly what I did. And I wasnt morally objective to my decision or emotionally upset. Im simply disgusted with their way of handling patient overflow and their opinions of patients.
Old place but somewhat clean. Lobby had a weird smell Im not sure if it always smells like that or If it was some of the patients that were in there. The whole set up of the place and the way they conduct business does not seem sanitary or private at all. Heard horrible things about the doctor that performs the procedure as well. Only reason I came to this place is because it is a lot closer than the planned parenthood locations. I would rather make the 2 hour drive than come here again if I ever had to. Some things at this facility need to really be reevaluated as well as some of their staff members.Side Note: idk why Angela Otchere felt it necessary to post comments like this as a review esp amongst people who have a choice to do what they want. No one needs your extra opinion as to what you think is right or not. If it has nothing to do with you personally dont waste your time to comment and share your unwanted thoughts. They do not go appreciated.
If I could give this place ten stars I would. From beginning to end I was treated with nothing but respect and the nurses where very compassionate. The doctor I believe Dr. Allen was her name she was very nice through the whole process. This decision is very tough and if you have to do it this is the place.
OMG! THE WHOLE STAFF ARE ALL HEAVEN SENT! They were so pleasant I felt like I had knew them all for years like I worked there too. lol I walked in crying and left laughing! From the nurses to the female doctor, All made me feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. Whatever choice you decide to make, make it at a womans choice because THEY WILL make sure you get all the help (whatever it may be) you need. The IV was amazing too, let me not leave that part out. :) Chelle told me I would know when the IV was working once I seen the fish on the ceiling dancing. Well hunnii I was swimming with Nemo and Dorthy and we all were tryna find our way home... I didnt feel nothing, hear nothing, see nothing. The only thing i remember afterwards was them bomb graham crackers and ginger ale. I got hugs from almost everyone leaving out the office as they made sure i got into the (get away driver car) safely because your not able to drive yourself home. But when i say NO PAIN!...No pain! Yall i went home Saturday, took a nap and then took my son to the park for 3 hours. Spent 2 hours at the gym the next day and Here it is Monday and i still am not in any type of pain. Im at work like nothing happen. Sorry my review so long but those women in there are AWESOME and give you the best care. Chose a womans choice because they will have your back. :)
To whoever is reading this which, which I beg everyone considering the procedure does. Please, DO NOT go through with the procedure, take the pill or find another doctor. 2 years ago I had a procedure done here and it turned into a nightmare, I kept getting frequent bacterial vaginosis, no period, contractions, and uti’s, one so bad it caused me kidney infection, I kid you not I got them as soon as it cleared up every time, I kept going to different doctors to figure out what was going on with my body but no one could figure it out, after trying to figure it out a year and a half later of recurring infections, I found a doctor that found what the problem was, I have tissue scarring in my cervix from the abortion!!!! And now I have to have another procedure done to get it fixed! Waste of money, and now I have mental and physical trauma, not worth it!Update: Post surgery the doctor sent off what was removed from my cervix to get tested, come to find out it was a benign tumor. The benign tumor was caused by the trauma and injury from the abortion. Please be careful! I cannot stress this enough!
I would highly recommend this place these guys are very good at ther job very friendly respectful n will go all out ther way to make sure your safe before n after your procedure also i never had infection after procedure n bleed for like 2 days no pain or anything so yea thank you so much I highly recommend this place ladies
The ladies at this location is very rude. I called to get help for directions and the ladies that answered the phone was very rude about it when I finally got to the place the workers was rude, and very impatient when I finished completing the papers wasnt anyone in the office to take them from me. I had to wait at the glass door for 10 minutes until the workers came from out the back. the place wasnt busy at all. The ladies was too busy talking and laughing they wasnt doing their job at all. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. If I didnt have to give this place any stars I wouldnt they dont even deserve one!
I want to send a special thank you to these ladies at this location. You all have great personalities and you treat the women with respect and care. This location is very private and they make things run smooth and easy. I’m glad I decided to visit this location. Peace and blessings to you ladies!!
I came from sc to visit this clinic & it was an AWSOME choice!! Very comfortable setting & super affordable in my opinion, which is greatly important!! My concerns tho are that they make you pay upfront without knowing your exact weeks at the time of payment which was a problem for me bc I had to ASK for my pay difference which was over $100!!! 😠Long wait but the process was crazy quick!! Tbh I can’t even tell if they did my procedure it was so quick!! Lol 👍🏾👍🏾 They have some organization issues but I think it’s an overall great choice!!!! Good luck gals 😊
So i was in desperate need of an appointment the girls in the front desk took time out to help sat me to the side provided me with the calk center number. The girl with pretty nails then called the nurse to assist me so i can speed the processes up in mean time gabby and sheeka and pretty nails made me feel so comfortable they madd me laugh in the mist of this hard decision. Thank you guys
Worst experience I had. When for abortion and still bleeding need to take follow up checkup when twice after taking follow up appointment but the clinic was closed still waiting for follow up check up. To connect call it takes more than 1hr such a worst experience
I love love love this place!!!! They were so helpful and made me feel very comfortable. Shoutout to the entire staff, they are the best. I walked in feeling scared and nervous , but I walked out feeling good and like a weight was lifted off of me. I really appreciate everyone here.
They treated me like family fr
Wife drove two hours to appointment to find out she can’t use our joint HSA card because my name is on it and not hers…had to come up with the money on the spot….I know it’s policy but it’s stupid…she is a dependent on my insurance and uses everywhere else… EDIT: I was not intending to file to insurance, just use an HSA card which functions as a debit card
I wish I could give them a zero but since I cant here is my story : This place harmed me more than helped me. I kept telling them the nitrous wasnt working and they said, verbatim, Oh well, I put myself in this predicament. The doctor was so ROUGH. He kept wiggling this big long needle-like instrument inside of me. Made of cold steel, and looked similar to a ice hook. I was only 5 weeks along and the werent even supposed to perform an abortion that soon..... Yet they did. And now 6 or 7 years later Im married and cant seem to get pregnant. What did you people do to me?! Did you mess up? Because I called to tell you I was profusely bleeding Everytime I get a negative pregnancy test now I think of all of you. Hope you people sleep well at night.... You and all your little protesters that harrassed me that day. (Who, by the way, they allow to stand and yell at their patients ON THEIR PROPERTY!)
Amazing Staff and Volunteers. They care for their patients from start to finish…
I don’t understand why there is a lot of bad reviews but i actually had a good experience they made me feel safe and it was quick and easy !!! Thank y’all will visit again
I waited on the phone for 50 minutes to schedule and appointment , just for the lady to hang up on me and not call me back. Shows you don’t care about clients.
My experience was great, Im glad I went to this facility. Everyone was very caring and professional, it went fast and Im not in any pain. I would recommend them to anyone.
Shouts out to Shay & Porsche and The lady at the front desk , the lady the takes your blood to see if its positive or negative and the lady that did the surgery performance on me and the two ladys in the back the whole freaking staff are awesome and so nice i love yall lol even though the wait is pretty long i still appreciate u taking your time with my body ppl have to be considerate that the lady that performs the surgys have like 15 other girls to and just be patient i love this place they take care of you like no other
This place is full of it! Not helpful and dont give you all the information upfront. I took off time from work and drove 2hrs for them to tell my my appt is canceled after i drove all the way here. NEVER WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
I called twice and waited 45 mins once and 38 mins the second time BOTH times for them to answer and than hang up. No call backs of course!Highly unprofessional
They were so accommodating and nice. This was a really difficult experience for me and they made it as easy as I could have imagined. If I had to redo it I would go back in a heartbeat.
It started off rocky but I was pleased after! The ladies were sweet in the back, Thankful
Came here some years ago and everything was fine until they took my money out my wallet they didnt even try to investigate the issue they were really rude..This place needs to be shut down.
Horrible experience from start to finish , paid to be put to sleep during the process and wasn’t ….., Run !!!!
Great stuff
They took my comment down 😂 please don’t go here. It’s a nightmare.
Is this place still open and operating?called multiple times but got no answer.
Staff very compassionate & considerate.
Amazing provider! Best in Charlotte!
I have been going to this place for 3 days in a row in the morning and in the afternoon at 9 am at 2 pm at 4 pm and it has never been open I dont know why they really waste my time
No one answers, it took me like 1 hour to dial anything. He speaks very badly about the place.
Excellent place
Is there a phone number available to call because the number that appears here is not answered, I have been trying to call for a week
