Quite Literally the WORST experience I have had with medical and professional staff to date.Started our Journey in January 2024. First red flag-we asked to be seen by a female provider, and were told this would be in our notes. It was not. A MAN tried to give me a vaginal ultrasound. No tank you.Second red flag- Husband went in for his semen analysis. It was to be covered 100% by insurance. At check out they asked him for $180. They man just did his business in a cup, he is not thinking straight and is embarrassed and wants to get out of their so he paid not wanting to draw anymore attention to himself. Were told we we be receiving a full credit- we have not received a dime back.Third red flag- -It is now September, and we have only been seen for an ultrasound. We have called for months leaving messages, and emails begging at this point to be sent to their authorizations department. We were in limbo and could not move further in the process without hearing back from this particular department in their office. I begged to be transferred to a human being at a desk, but no one would ever answer the phone. Emails went back without responses indefinitely. Asked to be transferred to a manager, but she didnt answer the phone either or return calls. After 8 months of being dragged through the mud before we decided to switch clinics. These people do not care about the sensitive matter and emotions surrounding family planning. Please save yourself, and your family any pain and DO NOT use this clinic. Im disgusted at their lack of empathy regarding time sensitive medical procedures. Shame.
Carolinas Fertility Institute was amazing. Front the girls at the front desk (Caitlin) to the NP’s (Beverly and Channon), nurse educators (Shay) and to my doctor (Audrey Garneau) I always felt well taken care of and that my care was personalized. The employees remember who you are and are so incredibly caring. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs a little extra love in the fertility department. I underwent 3 IUIs and a round of IVF and am now 14 weeks pregnant with our second little boy. I cannot thank this team enough for providing us with the best possible care and opportunity to be able to complete our family!
My partner had their first and only visit so far on June 18th. Was told an MRI was necessary and over a MONTH later, still no order has been placed with multiple follow-ups with their office trying to get an answer as to why an order for imaging has not been processed. Very frustrating, inconsiderate, and unprofessional when dealing with such a sensitive patient population when time is of the essence.7/22 Update - Received a call back to say that they would put the order in ‘again’ but asked the patient for the fax number. If you already sent it then why would the patient need to give you the fax number? And why are we faxing in 2024? If you thought you placed an order a month ago and hadn’t received results yet, why wouldn’t you follow up?8/27 Update - Results have been received from the MRI, yet no follow up from the clinic for weeks. Although my partner and I would most likely not have entertained this provider for additional care, the lack of following up post MRI further supports our initial concern with this office. I hope others are able to have a MUCH better experience.
I started with this clinic back in 2021 after going to 2 other clinics where we were not successful. I had heard great things about CFI so we took the chance and since they accepted Progyny it was even better. The first appointment was a few months out, but we did some IUIs at the current clinic we were at until then and also worked on anything we could such as diet, exercise, and supplements in the mean time. The wait sucked, but it was worth it. We absolutely LOVE NP Beverly. When our first retrieval only produced 1 good embryo and that transfer didnt implant, she and Dr Mesen went over my labs and U/S to see if they missed anything. They found there was no reason it wouldnt have worked so it was just my body. We had a second retrieval with some minor changes and it produced 4 good embryos (after testing). We transferred one of them and my son was born April 2023. We are now looking at going for a second transfer early next year.It saddens me that so many have negative reviews. Fertility medicine is not for the light hearted and you do have to be more diligent than others, but I am sad you didnt receive the care and attention you should have received. As for insurance, that is the responsibility of the patient, not the clinic. I had to get all the information for Progyny such as pre-authorizations and such as it is my insurance and my responsibility to have everything in place before any treatments are started and completed. Some doctors like Dr Mesen are more straight forward and not everyone will click with them. While he was our main doctor, we mostly dealt with Beverly NP and felt very seen and heard and she always responded. There were times we had to wait longer than I would have liked, but at that time, they literally only had the 1 Charlotte location and the Winston-Salem location and they are very popular because they have great results.I havent had any issues with their billing department until recently we received a collections bill that I have no idea what it is for and they never sent a bill prior so it was a complete shock. Havent been able to get ahold of anyone at the clinic but I keep trying to determine what the bill is for before paying it.
There’s a reason why this clinic is consistently ranked in the top ten in the US!My case was a particularly challenging case— CFI’s specialty. I spent 1.5 years with another clinic with no explanation for why I couldn’t get pregnant. Within less than a year of being a patient at CFI, I’m thrilled to share that I am now pregnant!! When I say that CFI is good, I mean they are true miracle makers!!!Not only is this team clinically brilliant, but also extremely compassionate. Every person in this office knew my name, cheered for our wins and offered support through the tough times. I never felt like I was “just another number” like the unfortunate experience at so many fertility clinics in the US.We will for sure be back for our future children!
Lengthy, but my notes:They do not answer the phone, ever. No patient portal. Poor record keeping. The prediction technology is a calculator off google. No payment plans. Pay link on their website is a scam; they double bill, then ghost you. They move appts for “weather” so you have to drive through it and they can go out to lunch. Long waits. First visit, I waited 1.5 hours and then Dr. Y kept checking his watch.IVF doc did not read my history. Not sure how you miss a brain tumor, but she called a few days later and changed the plan to do a high risk consult first, even though Dr. Y (and all my docs) said no need for that until I got pregnant. Seemed nervous/lacking experience. Never discussed positive genetic carrier results. *Rubbed her pregnant belly the whole time.Got conflicting information - During IUI, the NP said I had inflammation markers in my blood (never had a test for that), cysts leak fluid into the tubes (doc said it’s contained), and should flush tubes with HSG again after 3 months (doc said not to repeat so soon). These are just a few.Someone posted about mixing up patients, and I can second that. Scheduled my husband and they said ok but then said wait and asked his DOB because they had a same name and scheduled the wrong one.1000% throwing darts. IVF doc said she was asked when I got there if she could do my consult. Only reason I didn’t switch to RSC is I didn’t want to start over. NP dismissed when I asked about aspirin for endo. Started taking it and got pregnant on my own the next month, and cyst shrank 6 cm to 2 cm. Remember this is a business that profits; they WILL take advantage.
I went here because my doctor referred them. Took forever to get an appointment. Then we did and we waiting over an hour after our appointment to get called back. They were going to send us a DNA kit out for testing. Well.. we got it send it out. Didnt hear back. I called CFI asking about it and they told me to wait. Finally 2 months later we still have no answer. They finally call the kit place and they never got the specimen it was lost in the mail. So we did it again. CFI never sent me the results. 2 months later I called the lab again and they sent me test results. After a year seeing them they continue to send me a bill that my HRA already paid. Ive called multiple times, left voicemails and they never get back to me about the bill or say they will look into it and just keep billing me.I switched fertility clinics and found one that followed up with me and is easy to get a hold of. I did share this feedback when my new doctor requested information and they did nothing with it obviously
Having a “nice staff” doesn’t make up for the complete menace the billing department will do to you. We thought they cancel our storage since our embryo wasn’t good but no after 1 1/2 year we were sent a bill for $800!! Cancel and take your money somewhere else.
It shocks me to see negative reviews on this location. We have had nothing but an amazing experience with the administrative staff, scheduling, communication, etc. We truly felt like we build a relationship and friendship with Nurse Practitioner Beverly Huegel. We also worked with Nurse Practitioner Channen Dankle as well. They were both amazing and so supportive on our journey. We just graduated yesterday at 9 weeks pregnant. We will miss this team and are very thankful for everything they did to help us over the last year!
Definitely need to be careful, they mixed me and another person with the same name labs up. I just started there and I got her pregnancy results and then went in for just an ultrasound and they took 6 tubes of blood. I asked why because blood work wasnt on my orders and they said I needed it and come to find out, it was the other person needing it so she got my results.Dr Y isnt professional either. We had a video call with him and he was sucking stuff out of his teeth while talking to us.
Dr Mesen is an absent doctor, but his staff is wonderful. However, I switched doctors as mesen just doesn’t care and doesn’t implement standard protocol. We switched to the founding doctor out of Winston and after 2 miscarriages we learned about alot of tests we should have already had. $40k later we’re starting over. I hear many people are having a positive experience with the newest doctor on staff at the Charlotte location.
Seeing so many negative reviews for CFI makes me a little sad. I want to leave an honest review from my own experience. I am currently a patient at CFl clt. I dont want to say that anyone elses experience is invalid, because this is an emotional time and we want to be treated like it is. That being said, the doctor that I have interacted with the entire time at CFI is with Dr. Garneau. Ive had to do IVF and I have had to get my fallopian tubes removed. I am 1000% positive that this would have been a million times more difficult without Dr.Garneau. She is extremely empathic and genuine to her core. She cares about her patients and I have never had to question that from her. I know that usually its easier to leave a review when youve had a bad experience, but I am positive that many have came and gone to CFl and have had my same care. NP Dankle is also a kind and empathic person at CFI and very much worth mentioning as well. I have enjoyed my experiences with both of these women equally and I am glad that they are a part of CFI
I dont want anyone go through infertility journey but if life puts you in I would definitely recommend this clinic no matter what.I spend tons of money in other clinics around charlotte(I dont come to write bad review about other clinics here) But I cant believe how clinics have this much difference in success even though some of them have high success rate they only accept patients who they are sure they will succeed but not in this clinic. They give you your success rate to make your own decisions and they tray their best and they win!!Please take time to investigate alot in every clinics before choosing.CFI have Facebook patient (Carolina fertility institute moms and supporters) groupwhich you will see alot witnesses that helped me.I am not pregnant yet but they are trying everything that fits my personal response and I responded much better. I produced a number eggs I have never emagened and never told by other clinics .I am in the middle of treatment but trust me I will update my post with good news soon. lastly dont be panic about the phone calls they dont pick alot of times but leave voice mail they will call back if they dont respond on time trust me they know what they are doing besides what matters the most is doctors, nurces, embryologists that cares and an updated instruments.Thats it for me.Sorry abt this long post but it will help someoneUpdate: Unlike what other Drs said we were able to get 4 pgt tested embryos and transferred one.Now We welcomed our the most precious son.
An initial exam should not be over 500 bucks. Plus, stick to what you tell people. Everything felt dehumanizing, and now I have over a 700 dollar bill to pay. Also, the people who work in your billing questions department do not answer the phone or return calls. I had to call the front desk and tell them my calls had not been returned for over a week. The girls at the front desk are great, but they should be reminding people of insurance and saying how much an initial visit will cost. You have a lot of complaints about the billing part. I was told after that most insurance companies pay the initial, but they do nothing. Please be prepared to write a blank check. Life is stressful enough you shouldnt be adding extra to it.
Super Amazing Experience & a MIRACLE!!!! It had been almost 11 years we had been TTC. In 2012 I was diagnosed with Endometroisis Stage II and had a surgery done to remove the scar tissues through Laproscopy. After this we tried naturally and also went through 7 cycles of IVF, 2 cycles of IUI at various geographical locations to no success. Due to severe pain during my periods I had to go for another round of Laproscopy surgery in 2016 only to learn that my Endo had reached stage IV. Me and my husband had almost given up all hopes and were about to go for hysterectomy, but at this point my new Obgyn suggested that I see Dr. Tolga Mesen or Dr. Yalcinkaya for a last shot. I am so Glad I did!!!! I met with our God - Dr. Tolga Mesen, who not only heard me out for almost 45 mins (considering my long History), he also did my Ultrasound on the same day to figure out things and gave me my options. I chose my options in November 19 and by Jan 2020 we had our Transfer done. I couldnt beleive for myself that the First transfer Clicked. It took 2 BHCG and 1st Ultrsound to believe that it was happening for me.... We are so grateful to Dr. Tolga Mesen that it cannot be expressed in words.. Today I am in my 6th Month and cant wait for Oct 2020 to arrive. THANK YOU Dr. MESEN. THIS MEANS A LOT TO US!!!
Me and my partner have had an amazing experience with the CFI team. After having a negative one with another doctor, my OB/GYN referred me here. Our first impression of Dr. Mesen was that he was knowledgable and matter of fact, which we loved because he did not dance around what the issue was and what our best option would be. The staff was always polite and they seem to have a well running system, making the process very smooth. We had the pleasure of working with the entire medical staff, including Dr. Y, and they were always patient answering every question we had. No issues with the finance team, my insurance, lab results, appointments, or communication. All in all, we are currently 10 weeks pregnant and we have the CFI team to thank. This process is not easy but with patience, optimism, and flexibility it can be a good one.
I really wish this place would have worked for me :(The staff overall was super friendly but, my NP seemed to of taken things personal when I denied Metformin (twice). The first time she in short told me that it was my only option to successfully conceive despite me really not wanting to be put on it. The second time I took myself off of it (because it physically made me sick for weeks. Fever, sore throat, chills, etc.) so she just quit replying to me.I was in no way trying to be a difficult patient. I want things to work just as much as the staff does, even MORE.Why make your patients feel like a burden when YOUR treatment plan doesn’t go as you hoped? No other options were or had been discussed in lieu of Metformin. Not only that - this practice is the worst to reach via phone. They have also forgot about me in the waiting room before as I sat there for over an hour and then was asked “If there was anything else I needed” because they had already marked me as seen…There were a few other things to occur. Above all, I feel that this practice is very “rushed”. They sometimes seem scattered brained in their responses as if they have taken on too many patients and are not able to cater to each one individually. The quality of care has significantly decreased. In conclusion, dealing with infertility is already so stressful and heartbreaking enough on us patients. When the Doctors (or NPs) add to that by just making you feel insignificant or like a bother, it’s so sad. I pray no other patients already going through one of the hardest times of their lives have to feel the way I have by this establishment.
I WISH I HAD READ THE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS…The saga began with the nurse threatening to cancel my appointment without an insurance card. After providing blue cross blue shield federal employees insurance card my appointment was made 3 months out.The energy was negative immediately meeting Tolga Mesen. He never contacted me to discuss my lab results or a follow up appointment. I complained to the board and immediately my insurance was refused, even the initial consultation that the nurse said was covered.
Well I want to start off by saying thank you Dr.Mesen for such a great surgery you performed on me. I had 10 fibroids removed from my uterus and Dr.Mesen did a magnificent job removing all of them leaving my uterus in tact and he also opened my right fallopian tube. The Incisions was a very small cut, closed with medical glue and dissolving tape. No problems, I am currently 2 weeks out of post op and still sore but overall I fell lighter in my pelvic area and I feel over all rejoice. Thank Dr.Mesen for your services
**UPDATE** I am currently snuggling up next to my beautiful 9 week old daughter, after one round of IVF at CFI!**Original Review Below**My husband and I are very happy with our experience at CFI! After a failed first cycle at another clinic, and a negative experience at 2 others (pre-cycle), we came to CFI and have gotten the furthest weve ever been in the process. Dr. Mesen was really great and optimistic about our treatment plan and Dr. Yalcinkaya was also great (he performed our procedures). With the past failed experiences we had at other clinics, we felt the previous doctors were randomly throwing darts at a dart board, hoping one would stick, but Dr. Mesen confidently gave us a clear and concise plan -- and it worked. We got our first positive pregnancy test ever! The only negative I could give would be the difficult time speaking to billing. We havent had our billing screwed up or anything, just hard to get a hold of someone to answer questions. The nursing staff is also really nice and patient. I would definitely recommend them!
I have called on multiple occasions called and left messages requesting a refund for my consultation fee since this office cant see me until February 2021 and since my insurance wont cover the surgery. I cant wait 90 days to see a doctor for my particular case. This timeline was not given to me until I paid the money. I was told initially that the money would be refunded to my card. Later after calling about the refund repeatedly, I was told the company doesn’t issue refunds to credit cards. Melissa Cochran in finance/billing has yet to return any of my calls and I have not received a check as promised over the phone. I have been calling since the first week of November. Why couldnt the money just be refunded to my card? I was told that they only mail checks out for refunds, no credit card refunds. This feels really sketchy to me. They demanded $240 over the phone to book the appointment and if you decide to cancel or not wait months to see a doctor, they refuse to refund your card . The timeline should have been given before the appointment was booked because I would have never agreed to those terms. This is an integrity issue for me that raises so many questions. Like what else sketchy might be going on inside of this clinic? Definitely not the spirit of excellence in customer service. Who knows with patient and embryo care...Response to Owner: The office could not tell me when my payment was mailed or the check number and to date it has not been received. I was told that someone named Barack would call me back to confirm the date that he mailed the check and yet no one has. Your response is not accurate. It is dismissive and without proper investigation. If the check was actually mailed, there would be no reason to not return my calls. I suspect that this isnt the first time this has happened, everyone is just too unbothered about this situation at Carolinas Fertility Clinic. I guess that everyone had lunch and a good laugh on me. No honest Abes here.
After going to another fertility clinic for 2 years and being told after multiple test that they don’t know what the issue was and that I should just start the IVF process to come here and being told what my issue was during my very 1st appointment. I was advised to get tested again to confirm. I was then prescribed the appropriate meds and got pregnant within the month. I am now almost 6 weeks pregnant. They may not be the best with call backs but they produce results and that’s all that matters to me!
Horrible billing department. Sent us to collections while they claim they still havent even tried to run insurance. Completely incompetent company.
Please believe the other negative reviews. They are 100% accurate. I have had the same negative experiences with this office. I wish I could leave ZERO stars. They definitely make you feel like a “number”. Every time I call for information, no one ever has a clue of what’s going on. I waited 5 months for an appt, just for the doctor to rush through my appointment. (I was the last appointment of the day) I was told I should hear from someone within a week and this is now a month and a half later. I was not comfortable with the doctor at all. He seemed so cold. He completed a ultrasound which was very rushed and uncomfortable. I understand that you deal with women experiencing these issues everyday, but at least try to show that you care. I will NEVER return to this office again. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this office. Having fertility issues is sensitive enough. I want to be treated by someone who actually show care and concern.
This practice earns one star solely for the friendliness and responsiveness of one staff nurse, Alexandra. I sought out this practice after struggling for 6 months with unexplained secondary infertility (have had two textbook pregnancies resulting in two healthy children). My in-office experiences were neutral enough—I never encountered rude staff. However, to say my overall experience was impersonal is a gross understatement. I never received a single proactive phone call; every follow-up was my responsibility as the patient. I basically used Google and the experience of close friends to request certain next steps (ultrasound, HSG, medication, etc.), and the doctor would mildly agree and schedule said procedure/prescribe said medication. I never spoke to a practitioner about a fertility plan—was just told to “call on x day” of my next cycle every month. I never received a diagnosis after multiple diagnostic tests and procedures. A chemical pregnancy after three months of appointments was the final straw—there was zero support, and I was advised to “keep taking the medication as prescribed.” I’ve now transitioned to an integrative health practice and am so much more pleased with the level of empathy and patient care.If you’ve done all the research on your own and want a practice that will order specific tests for you, you’ve come to the right place—just don’t expect a partnership or staff who cares an ounce about your fertility struggles or journey to becoming a parent.
This was the worst experience in my life at a physician’s office. Dr. Mesen is by far the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, and impatient physician. Please do not take this review lightly. I left the visit feeling in complete violation. He was disinterested from the moment we stepped in his office. He spoke very rushed. He was negative the whole visit. He barely provided options only negative statistics. He even made it clear did not review my records because 50 pages long. I feel discrimination was a key factor and will be escalating my complaint and experience. My husband was disgusted. He maintained his composure during this horrific visit. The ultrasound room didn’t even have hand towels. My internal ultrasound was beyond uncomfortable. I felt the pressure even hours after the visit which is why I feel even more violated. This man should not be able to practice. As we waited to enter his office, he yelled back and forth from his office to the nurses giggling about being able to attend their cookout. Implying he would “fit in!” This entire experience was demeaning in every aspect. I regret spending anytime there. I’m going to ensure my insurance company does not satisfy their claim. I had to ask for options because he recommended none. He suggested removing my uterus??? I stated no I will remove the fibroids then he agreed???? Who is this guy? The most unprofessional and rudest physician I’ve ever encountered.Edit: This review was written mid morning. I was still anxious from my experience. Please think twice before utilizing this facility. The negative reviews are accurate in regard to Dr. Mesen.
This clinic made me a mom :)I did a lot of research which clinic to choose for the IVF process and I did not regret working with CFI. This clinic tries to give everyone a chance, and of course that makes it a busy clinic all the time. I met both Dr. Mesen and Dr.Y and they are both professional.Dr. Mesen is very straight forward, maybe some patients do not like it but I was happy that he was like that. IVF is a process that you do not want to lose time. He cares about the patient. Every time that I had questions or issues I was emailing him and he was very responsive even at 10:00 pm.Dr.Y is very compassionate and very helpful. He puts all his efforts to make things work and he gives his personal phone number when you can call at any time. I did the egg retrieval and the transfer, and definitely he knows what he does.I know that people complain about the phone but it was easier for me to communicate via email with the billing office, nurses or doctors. If you need a IVF I would definitely recommend CFI. Thanks to them I am a mom at 40 years old, and I am holding in my arms my 3 months old baby boy.
This Drs office performed a surgery on me with our getting the required pre authorization from my insurance. Afterwards they took no responsibility and we were left with a $5000 bill and not pregnant.
I am not sure why people are giving 1 star reviews for CFI. When it comes to insurance costs, etc that’s something you as an individual should be responsible for checking with your insurance carrier prior to any procedure(s). Similar to going grocery shopping, you look at the price before you purchase, right?Moving forward, Dr. Y and his team are phenomenal! During my consultation Dr. Y was very thorough and he provided detailed responses with every question I asked. Nurse practitioner, Beverly, Debbie and Shay are all super sweet and know their job well. Ms. Debbie and Ms. Shay always return my calls and they’re always patient. My only regret is that I wish I would’ve started with this clinic years ago. Dr. Y and his team are doing everything in their power so that my husband and I can start our family and for that, thank you in advance Dr. Y & the rest of the CFI Team!!If you’re in the Charlotte area and looking for a fertility clinic and don’t want to waste your time, look no further! :)Edit ***I don’t know how I forgot to add this but, KUDOS to Sierra at the front desk, she is so sweet and very professional. Keep up the good work!
We are working with a different clinic now and the clinic has been trying to get our records with our authorization but theyre non responsive for 2 months. This clinic doesnt take most insurance but there are better ones that do in the area.
My husband and I couldn’t say enough about our wonderful experience with CFI. We were at the Charlotte location, expect for our procedures at the Winston office. As busy as the clinic is, Dr Mesen works tirelessly to see all of the patients that walk through the door. I truly don’t know how he does it. He was even available by phone after hours and was able to answer my questions and concerns. All of the nurses we came into contact with were also sweet and professional. Because of CFI, my husband was introduced to an urologist that visits the clinic regularly. He was also kind and professional. I had less time with Dr Y, however the 2 times I saw him he was also great. Because of CFI, we are expecting our first baby next year. I would recommend CFI to anyone seeking fertility care. We can’t thank them enough!
After trying to conceive for 4 years, I am finally pregnant thanks to Dr. Mesen and Dr. Y. Ms.Priscilla is GREAT and goes above and beyond for patients. I recommend this office 100%. Please keep in mind they are a growing clinic and see many patients. I say this because it may be difficult to speak to a nurse right away when you call but if you leave a voicemail they will call you back that day EVERTIME (as long as you call before 5pm). I am very grateful for this clinic!!
When looking for a fertility clinic in the charlotte area it came down to 2 choices, and when I read the reviews I flipped the coin and started with the other one (ya’ll know what one I’m referring to). I’m here to tell you it was the biggest mistake of my life. I’m not here to talk about them, so feel free to seek out my review on their page, but I will tell you what CFI has done to be a refreshing breath of fresh air.I scheduled my consult, already preparing for the worst having been told we needed IVF (not quite understanding why since other options weren’t explored). They got me in within a month which was great considering how busy most places are. The communication about getting my records and forms was amazing. Do yourself a favor and request your records be sent to them before you even reach out! It will make the process smoother. Our consult with Dr Cain, although virtual, was wonderful. She didn’t rush through it, she truly took her time to listen to our concerns and share her thoughts with us and certainly didn’t make us feel like IVF was our only option. She gave us hope that had previously been stolen from us.We are just in the beginning stages of the process with them, but I’ve already had one test done, and scheduled another for this cycle and they have never once asked for money up front (this was a turn off in other reviews I read, but it hasn’t been done to us) so far it’s like any normal drs appointment- it’s billed through insurance (even though insurance will deny it) then sent to us.They were also upfront with us from the start about the cost! Nothing has been hidden from us and the communication has been absolutely amazing. I can’t say enough good things. Even today when my phone didn’t have service I played phone tag for a little while, but they returned ALL of my calls and answered ALL of my questions! If you’re trying to decide between 2 places, this is your sign. If you’re ready to change over- THIS is your sign. Don’t waste your time. CFI is amazing and will change your life!
This is the most unprofessional office I have ever visited. The staff is rude. Especially Pricilla. She has a very smart mouth and refuses to return calls. Courtney is the only pleasant one I’ve ever spoken with. This office has been no help to me at all. I was lied to on multiple occasions about what they could do for me. I was seen once! No follow up appts or anything. Just a waiting game. I received a bill before I received any assistance. I would not recommend anyone on a fertility journey to visit this office. This office lacks communication and professionalism. Seems as if payment to them is the only important thing. No one deserves to deal with stress caused by someone who is suppose to be willing to help. Stay far away if you can help it. I regret even wasting my time with this office at all.
This place is an absolute nightmare. I am baffled and beside myself at the negligence, cluelessness and complete disregard for patients - and those with a referral from their doctor no less. I am speaking in reference to the “head coordinator” and just general incompetence of front desk staff. Hopefully others have had a better experience, but I am just speaking from mine. Any time I have called they have not known what is going on for me. I have been on a run around for 4 months with them. I wish there was ANYWHERE else to go, and I feel compelled to share my experience which includes how awfully I was treated by the front desk and scheduling staff. I cannot speak for the medical staff, as I have never even seen anyone in person. However, I scheduled an appointment due to infertility over the course of a year. The appointment was for 4 months out, but I was told don’t worry something will open up. I checked in regularly and they kept losing my appointment and telling me I didn’t have anything scheduled. I totally understand something not opening up, that is not their fault. But not knowing who I am every time I call and telling me I don’t even have an appt scheduled is an issue. Then I ended up getting pregnant but it was ectopic. At that point I was referred by my OBGYN to get specific testing (HSG) at this facility, but they could never find my referral every time I called. They continued to tell me I never had an appointment scheduled in the first place until we go through the same story of “I can assure you I have an appointment you have sent me text messages to confirm”. We finally get through that, and I was told that I need to have a consultation by their Dr. before I can get the test even through I was referred by my Dr months ago. Then I’m placed on hold and given to someone who says “the dr will tell you what to do based on all of your miscarriages and so forth”. First of all, I’ve never had a miscarriage.... I could go on. But to surmise, this place is so unprofessional and low bar in my experience, I just have had my mouth drop open every single time I have dealt with them. Unbelievable is all I can say. I never write reviews and have a very high threshold for the benefit of the doubt. This just crossed the line time and again and is just unacceptable. I felt I had to share so hopefully they can improve. It isn’t fair to women who are struggling in the first place to be berated and talked down to, misguided and made to feel absolutely unimportant at best.
Dr. Cain and the team has been pleasant and nice! We have struggled with becoming parents. We started with REACH and did not feel the connect or that they cared so much, they were in a hurry during our first visit. Dr. Cain had provided the information we asked in just 1 visit!!! She was very caring, and we felt hopeful!! Now we are in our first trimester after we started the journey about 5 months ago. Thanks for making our desire come to life!!The front desk / lab are great to answer questions , but can work a bit more on communication like post visit updates for lab work - online portal might have been a bit helpful instead of calls
Dr. Cain has been wonderful!!!! My journey has been a 5 year process. We started with our regular Gyno then went to REACH for 1 year and is now working with Dr. Cain. I feel like she has done more in one month than REACH has done in 1 year. She treats you like a person and really listens to what you are saying and she takes your feelings and frustrations to heart. The staff has been great too! I have hope again!! I feel like I have options. Dr. Cain develops a plan that is best for you. She does not just go with the regular cookie cutter plan. I would recommend her and her team 1000%. Thank you Dr. Cain and staff at Carolinas Fertility Institute.
1. No one is answering phones. A review was posted three months ago stating that the issue was being resolved. It appears the issue has not been resolved. 2. My wife and I scheduled a consultation and was told the doctor would call us due to spacing and people in the office. We waited an hour and received no call from the doctor, nor from the staff stating why the doctor did not call. That is extremely unprofessional. We called multiple times to try and figure out why we had not received a call or cancellation call and were consistently sent to the voicemail.3. We have already spent $5000+ in treatments and have not received solid answers as to why things are the way they are. It is not that a doctor needs to be at patient’s beck and call, but no communication is never helpful or reassuring. When Dr. Cain was at the practice, she provided many modes of communication to ease those of us going through this emotionally stressful process. Needless to say, my wife and I are quite frustrated with current business practices.
I have tried to make an appointment with this office since 1/27. I was told that in order to get an appointment I must have my medical records sent first. I had my medical records sent to this office because the doctors office at my other doctor would not fax them. I have called and left a message with no response. I called just right now and was sent to a voicemail. When you request medical records from a potential patient without actually allowing them to have an appointment, this medical facility needs to understand that you have an obligation to return phone calls. It becomes this medical facilitys responsibility to let the patient know if their medical records were received. Medical records are not something you should be requested before an appointment is set up especially when you do not return calls.
I am a current patient and have appreciated the availability, bedside manor, and friendliness of Dr. Mesen, the nurse and Amy at the front desk. They return phone calls promptly, answer all my questions without making me feel rushed, and make me feel like they are a tune to my particular situation. Also, the fees are much more affordable than other places/doctors that I met with before decideing on CFI. They have filed with my insurance and let me know the progress as we move through the different tests and procedures.I have taken a small break from trying to conceive but will return to CFI next month as I fully trust Dr. Mesen and his staff.
Over the years, we have been to 3 different Fertility Clinics in Charlotte. CFI has by far been the best experience. Dr. Messen has the BEST bedside manner of any doctor weve come across! Dr. Y took awesome care of us for our procedure in Winston-Salem and his nurse team is amazing. If youve been through IVF before, youll understand when I say that your POC/IVF coordinator is the key to a smooth process -- CFI Charlotte has the golden ticket, and her name is Rachel C! We even had the opportunity to speak with the manager of CFI and she was very professional and kind. CFI is under construction, it didnt hinder our process, its not as private feeling for some of the stuff you have to go through, but, I feel they are doing well with this transition. I am happy to see them growing to better service the CLT area. Dr. Messen gave us nothing but a professional, kind and personal experience, it means the world to me that he reached out directly through our process. Dr. M took great care of me with some post procedure complications, even checked on me personally! I cant thank this facility enough for how they took care of us during our journey! Another thing, I am sure refunds for unsuccessful IVF cycles are a bit subjective, however, CFIs refund was more than gracious, and they called us. In one phone call, a check was issued and received very promptly. A night and day difference from our experience at REACH. Thank you to the entire CFI Charlotte Team, from the bottom of our hearts!
I called this office and was so hopeful... I waited 5 weeks for an appointment and was very excited to speak to a doctor. I recently went through 15 months of treatment with my regular OB and it was time to up our game.My partner and I have a 3 year old with a known donor. He is a good friend of ours and we have had a 5 year running agreement that he would be our donor and nothing else. It has been perfect. He will sign over rights. I wrote this on the last page of the intake paperwork with details about this situation. Perfect. When it was finally time for my appointment I could wait another minute. I called ahead of time to insure Carolina fertility Institute had my medical records from the 15 months of treatment. The doctor was friendly. She smile at me as she gave me news that they DONT work with known donors, how he could take my children, how the cost for him to use a cryobank would be out of reach, how the issues with our agreement were just not acceptable for them, how I havent been tested for breast cancer, how much counseling would need to take place... the list goes on and on... 37 reasons why they couldnt work with me. THEY DID NOT HAVE MY MEDICAL RECORDS. I was crushed. Then she offers me blood work and an ultrasound. Im not sure why and I asked if you cant help me then why do testing? She explained that it would be information to take back to my regular doctor if I chose to do so. In distress and complete disappointment I agreed to to the tests. I waited so long so I wanted something from the appointment.$100 deposit on appointment$ 200 for tests.... just kidding I got a $50 bill from labcorp that I though was included in the $200 for tests--- NOW $250$140 at consultation appointment.TOTAL $490The next day I was contacted by the same doctor to explain my options. She advised me about the cryobank route for our known donor and then tried to convince me to use a donor from online. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I have a child and want another from the same father. This is not a crazy request. I told her she cheated me out of my money and they should be ashamed. A SIMPLE PHONE CALL TO SAY SORRY WE DONT WORK WITH KNOWN DONORS IS ALL IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN.I understand they have the right to weed out the people they dont want to work with/dont match with their regulations- but reading my intake paperwork should have shown them that I was not a good candidate for their practice- instead they kept my hopes up and took my money. I did raise hell and was refunded $240 but this is not how I want to do business. It really is a vulnerable place to be in when looking for help and the helpers take advantage.
Dr Tamer was able to find out I had endometriosis and a cyst on my right ovary as well as seeing possible polyps in my uterus. I had surgery done by him last week to get all of this removed as well as placing my tac. I am so happy to have found him and to also know that I had endo all along. I’ve gone over 10 years with really painful cramping and was told it was just the “normal”. Recovery went smoothly and he did minimal incisions which surprised me that he did all of that in just those small cuts. Thank you so much Dr Tamer and Dr Cain for working with us after losing 2 of our angels and giving us hope for the future. You are all God sent and we are forever grateful. I do want to thank everyone else like Caitlyn with front desk help, she was the best and Julee who worked alongside me through it all all the way in Winston Salem. I did had an uneasy feeling towards one lady, making a wild guess I think her name is Priscilla, at the Charlotte office and she was enough to take 1 star off. She made me uncomfortable for some reason every time I came by. I explained why I missed my post op due to still being in pain, no ride and my phone shutting off from water damage and she didn’t seem to let me explain and cut me off while trying to.. and asked, “Can you go to the Winston Salem office?” After telling her it’s a 2 hour trip she then responded, “Well, you didn’t let us know yesterday that you were going to miss your appointment.” She makes me want to point out the time my first appointment had to be rescheduled, having to wait an hour+ for my next appointment, etc. but I know things happen and I never once complained. For me to miss this post op and not have any kind of understanding from the same lady gave me a bad impression towards the office in general. Why be rude if you’re the first person a patient walks in and see? That’s just my personal opinion and experience. Overall, I thank Dr Tamer and team for giving us another chance.
I experienced much of the same as the people who gave negative reviews. I didnt have an unpleasant staff experience but the doctor made me feel like a number and just a pay day based on insurance money collection for the IVF procedure. There was no care taken to understand my situation and no plan established that could present the best outcome for me. This was my first IVF experience and you dont know what you dont know but I will say I learned some of the things I needed to know the hard way. I would never return to the doctors here, specifically, Dr. Mesen.
We LOVED CFI and their team. They were absolutely amazing. We had an awful experience at another clinic in Charlotte and decided to switch to CFI. We are SO glad we did. The staff is so caring and want to help you get pregnant. They keep you updated and Mandy in the Charlotte office is super responsive with any questions or issues you may have. After 2 failed IUIs and a failed IVF cycle at another clinic, we got pregnant on our first transfer AND we have 3 embryos left in the freezer with CFI. I would highly recommend them and we will be using them again to transfer another embryo that we have left in the future!!
CFI is a wonderful clinic. Dr Mesen and the entire staff are always great to work with and obviously very educated and informative. They truly care about your well being and hope for the same positive outcome that you’re hoping for. Shannon, Danielle and Bev are top notch and we are so thankful for them.
1st Fertility Md Experience. 1st office recommended by VA referrals dept. If that applies you *take note* @ the 1st consult, he said something that I still hear. the VA is such a pain. - for me, that overshadowed my visits. It seemed as if his displeasure in my medical coverage reflected his treatment.I made sure each visit (only 3) & prior to my 1st visit they had my VA referral & explanation of benefits/exams covered. Unbeknownst to me, His front desk still put me down as self pay. Even though my insurance referrred CFI to me as a new patient. Soon im getting bills, in collections!- So I called the VA, got the VA billn address for His office. Billing dept @ non chrltte office very helpful & nice. She apologized for my experience with this MD & promised to fix their billing errors. However, still not resolved.Even to overlook billing. That can be fixed. simple resubmitted claim. My goal was to become pregnant. My first fertility dr experience was disappointing to say the least. I felt his medical style had a cookie cutter feel. Treatment plan not individualized or specialized to treat severe conditions.*Very good nursing staff with stellar phlebotomy skills & proper fertility bedside manners.Overall, based on their billing practices & voiced opinion of VA; I do not recommend this office to Veterans. I am still receiving bills & have been reported to collections for visits that are covered by the VA. Will also notify VA regarding their first choice.** JUNE 2021**received a $500 bill for date of service 5/10/21! LAST MONTH!?lol Come On! no way n dbble hockey stks.. Lol. Thx for a laugh in 21.
If I could give 0 stars I would.Never in my life has a doctor or office made us feel like such a number.I was given false information at my first visit. Told I was getting blood test that in fact I was not getting and turned out to be something else. Spent two weeks trying to get financial information I was told I would get in a day. Then at my second and LAST visit Dr. Y walked in a had no clue why I was there started talking about IUIs when I had already had three. My appointment was supposed to be for A pre-IVF exam. I had to tell him why I was there and that the ultra sound he was doing was for nothing. Several things continued to happen such as the staff saying I needed more test that the doctor said I didn’t. In the end I sent a lengthy email to try to let them explain themselves and correct the situation. Dr.Y said he would call at 6:00pm no surprise he called at 6:45pm, then did nothing but tell us we were wrong and he was right. How were we wrong you didn’t know who I was or what I was therefore. You entered a exam unaware of the patient and their needs and preformed a test not needed that now we will have to pay for.I wouldn’t recommend CFI to my worst enemy. No one should have to experience the circus we did when they simply just want to be parents. This is already such a hard thing to go through.
Excellent doctors, nurses, staff. My husband and I had been to the other two fertility clinics in Charlotte prior to going to CFI. We are so glad we made it to CFI, we wouldn’t have our beautiful, healthy twins otherwise. The communication from the team was really great, the doctors are caring. The facilities are clean and nice. They use state of the art technology for their IVF procedures. I honestly didn’t have a hiccup with the clinic the entire time I was under their care and supervision. I would give them a 10 star review if I could!!
This facility needs to work on customers service and learn how to talk to people. Everyone here is rude accept the lady at the check in counter. Everyone else that I have came in contact with act as if you do not exist. One nurse was talking about us while we were standing there and when I asked her what she said she basically ignored me. I will never return to this facility again for any other services. The least you could do is make a new patient feel less nervous about the services that they have to receive from you. If I hadnt paid for the services I would of walked out!!!In response to your review, my husband came there to get a one time service done here which I was present with him at time of his service. No, its not under my name but my husband.
If I could give this clinic more stars, I would! Because thanks to their fertility processes I am now pregnant after going through REACH where they told me that they could not help me after two losses of IVF Dr. WING made me feel the worst by telling me that they could no longer help me! But thank God I found this clinic I just sent you an email and immediately Dr. Yancinkaya Emmas assistant contacted me and she was very special in answering all my questions and she is always ready for whatever you need and thanks to Dr. Yancinkaya and Dr. Mesen now my dream of being a mother is being fulfilled and thanks to her nurses, especially Priscilla, she has been very special in all my process ... I recommend this clinic to all those couples who dream of being parents because they with the hand of God help you to be your dream come true and if it does not work for you the first or the second time do not give up
I chose to go to CFI initially because in my research they had the highest pregnancy success rate in all of NC, even above Duke and UNC. I am so glad I chose them! As the other reviewers said, they treat you like close friends, not patients. They work around the clock to match your schedule. They spend as much time with you as you need until you feel comfortable and they support you every step of the way. Dr. Mesen really knows his stuff. You will be in great hands with Dr. Mesen and Priscilla. I am writing this as I hold my healthy beautiful baby girl. She wouldnt be here if it werent for Dr. Mesen. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at CFI again when we try for baby number 2.
I never got a call back from my lab work. They never return calls or answer the phone. I received my bill and still no response. It’s been 2 months and no one will explain my lab work. So now I’m in google researching the tests and had to leave this negative review. Poor communication! Terrible customer experience!
Dr mesen literally saved mine and my babies life. He was able to see at 8 weeks I was pregnant with twins natural, however one was in my Fallopian tube and had started to bleed. He was able to remove my tube in March at the beginning of pandemic before anything bad happened and with a tough high risk pregnancy we gave birth to our precious little boy oct 11th. I would recommend him and his office to anyone struggling and in need of hope and kind ness.
Highly recommend Carolina Fertility Institute (CFI) to anyone seeking infertility solution. Both Dr Mesen and Dr Yalcinkaya are very professional and highly knowledgeable and treated us with good care.Dr Mesen sees all patients every time and that helps a lot to see how the treatment is progressing. The staff is always friendly, reachable and answered all our queries on time.Special thanks to Mandy, she helped us all the way in this difficult journey. They use state of the art technology for their IVF procedures. They helped us by designing a solution in line with our complicated medical issue and we are now expecting a baby.. YAYYYY !!I do not have enough words to thank the entire team at CFI.
I’ve been calling for a week leaving voicemail after voicemail to schedule a new patient consult and I haven’t gotten a callback yet. This is such terrible business practice, especially considering the nature of THIS business.
Every person involved with this institute is kind, caring and beyond knowledgable. They made this scary stressful experience much easier and made me feel extremely important! They were beyond what I needed and hoped for. I am finally expecting my first baby all thanks to them!! Every nurse is awesome. Priscilla even came in early some mornings to make it work for my schedule!! Dr. Mesen will do everything he can to get you the best results possible! Thank you!!!
Dr. Cain has been pleasant from the very beginning! I have struggled with unexplained infertility for 2 years. We started with REACH and have been unsuccessful in developing a cognitive plan. Dr. Cain has provided the most information I’ve ever received in just 1 visit!!! She’s very caring, and I feel hopeful, also positive we will be able to conceive with the help of CIF!! Thanks in advance!!
I highly recommend. Dr. Mesen and the whole staff are wonderful!I went to another facility and did 2 timed pregnancies and 2 IUIs. I ended up having a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy. Not to mention switching my diet and taking supplements as well as acupuncture. I felt like I needed a switch. I’m glad I did!I ended up seeing Dr. Mesen and told him my interest in doing another IUI. I saw him at every visit and he always kept me updated with his honesty. I ended up getting pregnant with my first iui! Everything was looking great and healthy and I eventually graduated to my ob.I now have a healthy baby girl that was born in Dec 2019. We have waited over 2 years for her and our dreams became a reality. We will definitely go to Dr. Mesen again when we are ready for another child. I highly recommend and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made!
Carolinas Fertility Institute did a great job with my fertility treatment, they where awesome. They did not waste time like other places they got straight to the point, and I was pregnant within 3 months. I only had one IVF cycle and I’m now due to have twins 6/11/21. Thank you sooo much Dr. Tolga Mesen and Dr Y , you guys are awesome and I appreciate everything you’ve done. 20 stars ⭐️ Google has no idea how great you are , but I do keep up the good work!!
They took my father-in-laws credit card for the 1000$. Never gave anything related to a treatment plan. Doctor said a polyp came loose as he forced open a tube. The lady up front said if your insurance doesdoe cover it its 1800. So after removal they charged 10000 yes! 10000, 5000, 1800, some smaller amounts also.we inquired and was told tricare didnt cover it and then We said we have champ.va. so then we were told the 1000$ from her dads credit card was dispersed for various things wich was never approved or consulted about.we Kept calling billing and once again billing to tricare.they said we dont have your account #for tricare, again we said its champva and ss# is our account # We drove to the clinic and desk clerk was trying to help and she read off her ssn # and last 4 # were wrong. This has been the most crazy event ever. They seemed very unsure about their billing practices. We talked about attorneys and they refunded the 1000$ they charged at their own discretion. Communication about cost(other than iui) and treatment plan never happened. Just 1800 if insurance didnt cover. If he dislodged the polyp he could have waived the fee. So every ultra sound due to him dislodging polyp was charged to us. Just know what your money is for, because any unforeseen processes will not be free wether you cause it or they do.after surgery doc comes to conference room with 2 placards showing polyp there and then gone. Seemed odd they needed to provide precise communication and proof about it. Honestly the staff was friendly and helpful just not totally up front about extra costs and getting the billing information correct after many calls and drive to Charlotte to get it straight.
Worst customer service! They never pick up their phones, never respond to your voice mails and more importantly they never share your lab results for months. I havent seen any facility who are so dishonest and disoriented. They prescribed medications 3 months after the lab work for my wife and the front desk lady always asked us to get everything from their portal but guess what they dont have a patient portal at all! Please stay away from them.
They charged me $210 to thaw out a vial of sperm! I have never heard of prices so ridiculous. At first they billed me $1000 and when I asked why they said it was to wash the sperm, but the sperm I bought was already washed! So now the bill is $210 for unthawing which my insurance doesnt cover. I was not told I would be charged for unthawing and especially not this amount. I do not recommend this place; there hidden fees will come as a surprise in the mail months later. I saw DR. Messen in the summer and now about 6 months later I have this headache to deal with. I am a veteran, I used my VA insurance, and they told me I didnt have to pay for anything out of pocket except to purchase the sperm! A great way to scam vets. The only positive thing I can say is Catelyn at the front desk is nice and will follow up with you immediately.
I went to Dr. Mesen earlier last year and I kept trying iui but my body wasn’t accepting it. I told Dr. Mesen that I wasn’t going to give up on him that he will figure it out. Him and Priscilla have been so amazing to me and very patient with my iui trials. Early this year I decided to go through ivf and the first round worked but my body wouldn’t let the eggs attach fully. But with my second round my levels were high with the first blood test and more than doubled with the second. This facility is the best! They go beyond their means to help you have a successful pregnancy. Getting to know them I would call them great friends because they make you feel like that instead of clients. So, I would highly recommend you giving them a try you won’t be sorry. Thank you so much Dr. Mesen and Priscilla. You both have been amazing to me.
I was so nervous about my first visit. The nervousness went away after my husband and I met Dr.Mesen and His caring staff. He’s simply awesome! He’s understanding and extremely knowledgeable. If I could give him 20 stars I would.
Dr. Mesen and Dr. Y will do everything they can to get you pregnant. They are the best of the best. The communication is top notch, and the providers are willing to answer your questions at any time. The financial team, Courtney and Melissa, are very thorough.I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is TTC!
Be prepared to play phone tag for weeks trying to schedule an appointment, no live person ever actually answers the phone. When I finally got someone on the phone, they tell me that they lost my doctors referral, which was confirmed sent by the doctor 10 days prior. Theyre response was, sometimes faxes dont come through.
Dr Mesen and his Charlotte team are great! Always helpful, available and easy to reach, I never felt rushed. They understand people going through this season of life and how difficult it can be and they do everything to put me at ease.
Amazing experience! From the start the staff was friendly and caring. My husband and I started IVF in February and we are now pregnant. Dr. Mesen and Dr. Y are very knowledgeable and professional! Loved my entire experience!
I was recommended to this place by a long term friend and was amazed at how much better the knowledge and care was compared to where I live in Charleston, SC. Very pleased with Dr Mesen and his staff. His nurse Mandy is also very knowledgeable and caring. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
Dr Y was amazing for my wife and I. I can not speak highly enough about his practice. We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend to anyone!
This place is the worst, Tolga Mesen is a Doctor at Carolinas Fertility Institute. Now I see why they have so many bad reviews, there service is atrocious as well as him, fair warning!! There is something more sinister going on there!!
We had best experience with CFI. We are so grateful and expecting our baby girl in January 2020. We were blessed from first retrieval and first embryo. I would recommend CFI to anyone.
I would recommend CFI to anyone! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, answer all of my questions and and make me feel like a person and not just another patient! They know me and my family and our history and that has made our experience a great one. You won’t be disappointed!
Bunch of ***** trying to lure vulnerable folks, and their billing gets adjusted against all your payments to make sure you own them more money even if they fail you over and over again (I spent almost $50K with zero results or accountability, lost $9K in advance payments and I am still being harassed by this institution - BBB report outstanding, Credit union has supported me - and Parker Poe Legal team is harassing me) . This is a ***** institution and if you are a victim like I am, get ready for next steps.
I can’t give a review on the doctors and their procedure because I never got a chance to visit them. The front desk is so INCOMPETENT it’s painful. I have tried to make an appointment now for months. Each time they “couldn’t find my referral”. They are rude and totally unprofessional.
I had my first initial appointment yesterday and I am absolutely pleased with this office. The staff and doctor both made me feel welcomed and cared for.
After I make my appointment with difficulty because they never answer the phones I wait 1 month and the day of the appointment, they canceled it because they called me and I did not answer and all because they called an incorrect phone number. The worst they never did anything to accommodate me that day. they are not professional
My husband and I have seen four or more doctors for fertility. This place has absolutely been the best and Dr Sabri is amazing along with the staff!
Never will return, experienced the most provider bias ever in reference to my husband, if I could give this review a negative I would, infertility is such a sensitive issue in itself this just made our journey that much harder.
Dr Mesen and Dr Y have gifted us the most precious kids and we are forever grateful to them and staff.
They swindle people out of money! I am a family member of the patient and I see her battling with these unexpected bills they send. I dont see why they would make this process more stressful.
Carolinas Fertility Institute has really taken care of me. They have really given me hope that babies are possible in my future. I love the entire staff.
CFI is a pleasure to work with. Our intended parents and surrogates have had the best experiences!
Spectacular place. Cannot day enough positive things about the doctors and staff at this institute. Highly recommend.
Never received a single proactive call, seems like everything was my responsibility.
We will give this a shot and we are waiting to See Dr Y and are hoping for the best.
I have NEVER seen a business that don’t answer the phone. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional
Everyone was so informative and nice.
My sister had twins
Please read reviews before you go had I did would have saved me lots of headaches! It was the absolute worst experience of my life at a doctor’s office- especially when you are already feeling vulnerable. I just came in for a consult to see what the procedure would be like, and without my consent or going over costs they did a vaginal ultrasound sound on me, while the Dr. mocked me, for never having one of these before, because I had no idea what it was or why we had to complete one. Then no one called me with any results just with a bill over $200 because it seems that insurance didn’t cover all these tests they ran that day, that no one ever discussed with me. I’ve been trying to get ahold of their financial dept too and just keep reaching dead ends. Please DO NOT go here!!!!!
My experience with them has been the best, they have excellent doctors and excellent staff, I would like to make a special mention for Emma Hernández, her attention, support, help and guidance has been a fundamental part of my process, more people like her dedicated to helping people who even are not their patients make CFI a place where you can trust that you will be in the best hands.
Do they have Spanish service or not?
