I cut my finger. Receptionist, nurse and Dr were all very pleasant and professional. Doctor was very attentive to me making sure I was OK while giving numbing medicine, cleaning the wound, and during and after the stitches. It was a quick and positive experience. I was in and out within 45 to 60 min. A sincere thank you to each staff member who assisted me...Great job!
When I arrived to urgent care I was in so much pain in my abdominal lower area and I had no idea what was the cause.I wish I could remember the doctors name that seen me while I was there but because of my condition I can’t remember. He was extremely kind, polite and courteous. I am taking so much delight and pleasure to have this opportunity to publicly thank him for the care that he gave me. It is my hope to meet him again to express my gratitude in person someday.
The best part about my visit is Ms Mary Ann England, FNP. She is amazing, so kind, and patient. She explains everything so that I can understand exactly what is going on. I have seen her at the Urgent Care and she is always the same. I will always ask for her by name. The receptionist that checked me in was also very nice, as was the x-ray tech.
Hello to all those who prefer Go Health by Novant! So in my experience I feel that Im covered by the professional staff at this Urgent Care facility. Theyre thorough and thats exactly what to expect from the medical team. All of my concerns were addressed plus the those issues I havent yet been noticing. Overall Im given all I need plus those meds!
The amount of time Mary K Fichtinger, PA spent with me is the reason I rated her so high. She gave me EXCELLENT suggestions. She, by far, is the best PA/doctor that has ever treated me in an urgent AND emergency care facility. Her calmness was the best prescription Ive ever had. She reviewed my history and decided that any injection for the pain would jeopardize my kidney health. I did leave in pain but the steroid injection did ease my pain in under 24 hours and has helped tremendously.
I just left this Urgent Care and it was the most amazing experience. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The P.A. Mike was patient and informative. I felt like everyone truly cared. The facility is incredibly clean as well.
Very Friendly staff, fast handling and nice doctor. Explained the importance of taking rest and precaution to my son who loves soccer while waiting for X-ray results
Today I went to this place with my son at around 10:00 am. My English is not very good, my native language is Spanish. My 8-year-old son had to help me translate the reason for our visit to the receptionist into English and he spoke to me in English the whole time. Afterwards, the doctor who was going to examine my son asked me if I needed an interpreter and I said yes. To my surprise, the receptionist who attended to me from the moment I arrived knew how to speak Spanish perfectly and translated the entire medical consultation without any problem. Afterwards I thought “this is serious” “the receptionist is making fun of me”… I felt so bad, she treated me with inferiority, I felt mocked. She didn’t apologize either, on the contrary she said – Ma’am, you can leave now. Fortunately, the doctor who attended to my son intervened and told me that she was going to file a complaint. The receptionist practically kicked me out of the place. This cannot happen, it is outrageous. What a lack of respect and empathy!.
I was experiencing a bad migraine all day and needed relief so I decided to go online and save my spot for 10pm. Didn’t realize they’re open 8am-midnight everyday which was a huge relief. Went in and was greeted by the two lovely front desk ladies/medical assistants. Waited for about 15 minutes and then was taken back into a room. PA Michael was AMAZING! Answered all questions and concerns with no hesitation and came up with the best treatment for my situation. He previously worked at an ER so he has experience with many conditions and situations. Was given injections from the kind and caring medical assistant and the migraine went away! Didn’t want to deal with going to the hospital so this was a great option. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting last minute and quick care!
I came in with an injury, so no appointment. I was checked in and seen quickly, and everyone was wonderful. Not a bad injury, but a lot of bleeding due to Xarelto. Jennella got me settled in the room and was an absolute delight, and John the PA took care of me. Ive seen him before and always receive great care. I recommend this office highly!
We were seen right away and everyone was kind and friendly, putting me and my son at ease.Ive come for a stomach virus, when I jammed my finger and now when my youngest was injured.Thank you for doing such a wonderful job and saving us from a long, expensive and potentially scary ER visit.Writing again after another visit:This time for myself when a cold turned into an ear infection/sinus infection. Nurse Veronica and FNP Mary Ann were kind and knowledgeable. Mary Ann not only prescribed what I needed, but also suggested common sense ways to feel better.I have been there three times for myself and once for my son. All four visits were excellent. Everyone is kind, weve been seen right away and prescriptions and injury care was on point. It is wonderful knowing that there is a quality UC available when we need to be seen on the weekend. Thank you.
Phenomenal care from the Staff and Dr Michael Reynolds. Dr Reynolds was so kind and compassionate. He took his time with me and was genuinely concerned about my health and well being. He actually put himself in my shoes and understood the pain I was in. I’m thrilled with the care I received. So much so that if I get sick or injured again I will be visiting him instead of my primary GP. Thank you Dr Reynolds and staff!
Kind, caring and very thorough staff from check in, the medical assistant and the Dr. The medical assistant/nurse was so kind and comforting, and our Dr. was also very kind, patient and thorough. Its very comforting as a parent who brought in a young child, to have such caring individuals that are receiving you and your child late at night. We left feeling comforted and peaceful about our little guy. Just wonderful care received all around.
Very convenient with the schedule ahead appointments. The medical and office staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr. Michael, is very thorough and spends time with you discussing your concerns.
I was here twice for a Gout flare up and it was a really good experience at this Urgent Care. Unfortunately I forgot the names of the Nurses, but they were really friendly and patient. Doctor Michael Reynolds checked up on me both the visits and he was really helpful and empathetic and prescribed meds that helped me with the severe pain right away!
Wait wasnt too bad. Staff was nice. Dr was great. He was easy to talk to. All-in-all a pretty good experience. Id go back.
It was so easy to schedule an appointment through their website for the same day. They saw us almost immediately and we were in and out with test results and a prescription for strep in less than 20 minutes. They see kids 6 months and up which was quicker and way more convenient than taking them to the pediatrician.
Michael was amazing and one of the most detailed, thorough and friendly medical professionals I have ever engaged with. He made my son feel very comfortable and went above and beyond to ensure that we understood the diagnosis. Thanks again Michael.
...great atmosphere, I felt like family from sign in to exit. No foolishness of any kind...very professional...if you want to feel under appreciate,or treated like you are just a number, and over looed as if you are beneath them, dont go there...no matter what place of business I enter, there is like teir 1with good Old fashion love and care for humanity.....guys you can drop the mic, with no doubt in mind......awesome job ,pat yourselves on the back with both hands........Awesomeness!
We highly recommend Dr Reynolds! He takes his time with patients and lines out various options when it comes to medications. He has been very great with our 7 months old son. Also, every staff member at the urgent care is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend, if you need to see a doctor.
Friendly front desk staff and limited amount of wait time. Only negative was that they called my prescription in to the wrong pharmacy, which made for a longer than necessary time at the correct pharmacy location. Without that mistake, I would have given them 5 stars.
Very nice front desk customer service and Nurse, qualify respectful provider. The most important, I call it today with some questions, and the provider answered all without excited. Thank you.
Needed care early Saturday morning. I was I was in discomfort with much pain. (UTI)Everyone was so nice and understanding. Dr. John, when he learned I have dementia (FTD), did not talk down to me and didnot start speakly loudly. He throughly explained while observing if I understood. He did question my daughter if I was unsure. He gave thorough and clear instructions and made sure my daughter and I understood.I truly wish there were more doctors like him. He listened to ME!!!
I wish I could give negative stars. I walked in at 11pm. I didnt see a soul. The door alarm was going off. Still nobody emerged from anywhere. The front door is open and there is not one staff member anywhere in site. I sat thete for 30 minutes. I saw not one staff member. It appears that this wasnt Urgent and there was no Care. Just utterly ridiculous. I mean what can be said to truly encompass this kind of dereliction of duty, especially for urgent medical needs. Smfh.
The friendly service and helpful people the nurses are nice the nurse practitioner was very good and helped me feel better before she released me and helped with a referral for a doctor since I am new to the area
Everything went smoothly. The people were compassionate and informative. The staff and Michael Reynolds truly care. I wish all medical offices were run like this one.
Very welcoming staff to an ill patient, asked thorough questions, listened to my answers and didnt rush me, had pharmacy information and offered the option to be added to the patient list while in route to the office.
Excellent, knowledgeable staff!! They listened and gave feedback. Very professional and courteous. Short wait time. Facility was extremely clean!! We will use this facility if needed in the future.
Spotless rooms, sanitizing protocols adhered to, attentive, efficient, and friendly staff. Blessed to have them so close. Grateful for PA and nurses!
Great facility.. Even though I didnt schedule an appointment I feel I was seen in a timely manner.. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and quickly got some relief to my pain ordered.YOU ROCK.!!!
Upon arrival, I was immediately welcomed and greeted by the FNP and the staff. My wait time was less than 30 seconds, and all of my concerns and questions were answered in a timely manner.
I was just there this morning & saw Dr.John C. Both he and his staff were amazing. I am so thankful for them listening and understanding my situation. Some of the best healthcare I have received in a long time.I would definitely make him my PCP if I could.Thank you again
The doctor and staff were attentive to my complex ear infection situation and provided the care needed to clear up the problem after a few tries to figure out what was going on.
I had a good experience here. I was able to get a same-day “appointment” within 2 hrs of looking at the site. I was seen promptly once I got there. The provider I had was wonderful. He didn’t force unnecessary tests on me. He listened to what my concerns were and tailored care to me, personally (as it should be, but isn’t always these days). I would definitely come back if I ever needed to go to urgent care again.
I had a good experience, they see any reason for my pain but it was determined that I had a sinus infection. I agree with that diagnosis according to where my pain was medication given solved the problem
The entire staff were very helpful. This is where I will be going the next time that I need urgent care help. Dr. Reynolds was extremely nice and listened to me about my back pain. I would recommend this urgent care to everyone.
The NP was wonderful! All Walgreens in Charlotte were out of Paxlovid and not helpful. My husband went back to Novant and she searched until she found a CVS that had it. Thank you!
All of them were really nice and seemed like they really cared about how I was feeling. They had awesome bed side manner and the younger girl up front made me feel like we had been friends forever! We were laughing while I was feeling terrible. I told them they were all really good at their jobs before I left.
I was going to have to wait 4 days to see a physicians assistant at my regular doctors office. The scheduler recommended Novant GoHealth Urgent Care,6 miles from home! I checked online & booked an appointment an hour from when I looked! There were 2 people there when I arrived. I barely sat down before I was called back. Id pre-registered on line. The nurse did preliminary questions & checked my stat. The P.A. arrived shortly, diagnosed bronchitis, wrote 3 scripts & I was on my way! The next day I was feeling better. Two days later was even better! GoHealth was a great experience & Ive already recommended it to friends.
I highly recommend this place, both the staff and the Dr. were very friendly, the Dr. listened to me attentively, took his time to inquire more and empathize with me.The wait times were very good considering I was a walk-in. I am grateful for the care I received.
Very impressed that the P.A. knew about POTS, MCAS, and EDS. It made the conversation much easier. It’s nice to be able to have an actual conversation about the symptoms and how they impact injuries.
Had to bring my son here and I was super impressed with everyone that worked here, starting at the security officers when you walk in, they were super nice, check in attendant was great and there was a 20 minute wait. Way less than I was expecting for an emergency room. The nurses and the doctors all went above and beyond. I highly recommend.!
The staff were all kind and caring. I would recommend this urgent care. I reserved a spot and they took me back right on time. No complaints.
I liked the very capable but friendly staff. I felt like they cared about how I felt and was definitely wanting to help. I got a good diagnosis with the right medicine to help me get better. What else could I want? I liked their confidence in doing their job too.
I made an on-line appointment but still had to wait one hour to be seen. They did apologize and say they an emergency that morning. The staff was very pleasant and John my PA was very helpful.
So six months ago I reported that this place was sending two different amounts for same tests that two of my kids had on same day and same appointment. Now after many phone calls they say maybe we missed to explain that since the first kid had Flu and the second kid we only did flu test and not COVID test, so insurance did not cover. I was never told there was a difference in tests while we were at the facility. After 5 or 6 calls of each 2 hours they agreed that it might be a mistake on the nurse’s part and will look into and let me know. I did not hear anything for 3 months, now I get a charge of 247 from collection agent. I will pay it but this is the worst location and billing service I have seen.
The facility is so well designed & kept up that it looks new. Everyone was pleasant. The assistant & PA were great. This facility is our first choice when we need an urgent care.
Was there visiting my family fractured my foot at the Coca-Cola 600 came straight to novant health urgent care was seen by doctor Micheal and his staff they absolutely took care of me I really appreciate those guys I would recommend them highly!!
Took care of late at night. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Very happy and it’s next to a Taco Bell which makes it even better!
My visit with Danielle, PA-C, was incredibly thorough. She showed genuine concern about my health issue, provided excellent care, and then followed up via phone three days after my visit to check on me. I can’t speak to the other providers, but I had a great experience at this clinic.
Have used this location 3 times. Each time I was able to make an appt and was in and out in less than 30 min. All healthcare members were nice and took care of our issues.
Very friendly & professional staff, minimal wait time despite my being a walk-in with no appointment, very good hands-on care by Mary Ann. Also, my Rx was dispatched very quickly. You guys are great !
This location is never prepared to see visitors. Whether its their attitudes or their lack of resources to treat patients, theyre always something wrong. I scheduled this appointment because I saw that the reviews online reflected poor experiences when you did a walk-in. I checked in prior to coming and uploaded my ID and health insurance information. I was told that there was a copay. I attempted to pay but their equipment to receive payment did not work. I have been to Go Health locations before and have been billed in the rear for the services. They told me they could not get their equipment to work and they couldnt see me without receiving payment. They told me there was no way to just bill me so they cancelled my appointment and I had to leave unseen because their equipment didnt work. On top of that their attitudes are not pleasant. Its never desirable to have an issue that requires you to do to urgent care. The least they could do is attempt to be pleasant. These health care providers are horrible.
Seamless experience from check-in to check out. John, NP was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything clearly!
This place is for robbing the people. So many surprise charges and no option in IVR for apointment cancelation. I was trapped once and no way to connect to their apointment cancelation. I called 10-12 times different options and spent hours to cancel an appointment but faced some unprofessional operators who deliberately wasted time. If anyone else faced problems with apointment cancelation please let me know. I am planning to file lawsuit against them.
The efficiency of care provided to our daughter exceeded our expectations and was greatly appreciated.
The staff were very professional, friendly and patient with me while I explain why I was there.
The entire experience. From check in to check out. John is the nurse practitioner and was absolutely awesome. He educated me along the way and got me in and out. Thank you all for everything.
Visit was @ 10 on a Sunday morning & I was seen within 10 minutes for a cut finger. If you have the time, you can register before arriving. Care team was quick & thorough to include asking if I needed a Tetnus booter. They bandaged me up & gave me care instructions for home. Id go again, but hope I dont need to.
Great urgent care. I was so appreciative after my last urgent care experience. Awesome Nurses and Doctors. I saved my spot online. Maybe waited few minutes to go back and be seen. Ill be coming here for any urgent care needs.
The staff was courteous and kind. The doctor made my daughter feel better and happy even though she hadnt gotten any medicine yet. This is my 3rd time visiting this location and I hope to continue to have good experiences with them.
Short wait, personable staff and nurse practitioner; I felt my injury was expertly treated, and then there was a quick response to my follow up question the next day.
This place does NOT care about you as a patient. Walked in 45 minutes before closing time with my 10 year old son that was bleeding from his face in 3 different places. He fell on the concrete and had a really bad wound with some other cuts and scrapes. The lady at the front desk looked at us and my son’s bleeding face and said, “Do you have an appointment?” I said, “no he just fell outside and just want to get him checked out to make sure he’s ok.” She said in the most condescending tone, “We’re full so he won’t be seen.” I’m blown away at this point thinking do you not see the blood dripping from his face? My husband then said, “well is there a place you can recommend?” Again she responded in the most condescending tone and said, “There’s an ER across the street!” At this point a doctor walking by asked what was going on and he gave us tips on how to treat him. I know in this climate, everywhere is short staffed, but if you lack empathy and compassion for people, especially a child that is crying and badly bleeding from his face, you definitely do not need a job that is customer-facing dealing with sick/injured patients. I am appalled and will be writing corporate as well.
The service with the nurse and doctors excellent,And very comfortable place
Took a family member here for a dog bite 10 minutes before closing. Extra kind, empathetic and professional team saw us, stitched her up, and stayed late just for us. Best Urgent Care visit Ive ever had.
Very professional, always listens to concerns and follows up as needed, never have been there more than 45 mins in and out
I loved my nurse and doctor, they listened and gave great care. However, I did not like that I had to register myself, while experiencing a migraine, no bueno!
My Doctor that I had was fantastic and the ladies at the front desk.
Everyone was so kind and patient. Although I really wasnt feeling good at all my experience was so warm and welcoming. I didnt feel shamed for having a cough or sneeze. Got some much needed rest and treatment. Forever grateful to the staff on S. Tryon in Charlotte, NC thank you so much
We came on Friday at 10PM with a sick child. Everything went very quickly and the personal were very friendly and professional.
I was here all of 10 mins 15 mins max. I was the last appointment of the day.I came in because I had lost my voice I had a bad cough and I was coughing up mucus. Turns out I had laryngitis. I was not prescribed anything but told to take mucinex and go home and rest if I did not get better to come back if I got worse.I was seen by a PA. I was not tested for Covid because I had it a few months prior and was told because I had it antibodies would show up since I just had Covid. I wasn’t given any x-ray to test for pneumonia.Honestly I’m not satisfied with the level of care I received I feel as if I was rushed in and out and not given proper treatment.I ended up having to go to an atrium health emergency department to get proper treatment.I was given a chest x-ray at atrium to check my lungs and a covid test and flu test. Where I was then prescribed medicine to help with my cough and written out of work for a few days. Do not waste your time coming here. I had to get proper treatment elsewhere.
Earlier this year, I went in with a very painful blister on one toe. My toes were a bluish color. The NP decided she should stick a needle under my toe nail to relieve the pressure and drain the blister. She did not have the decency to numb me. It was one of the most painful experiences of my life as she inserted the needle three different places under my toenail, and trying to drain the blister. The next day, I had to go to a different urgent care and they could not believe what this NP did at this location. Turns out, I was having blood clots in my toe. This office should just shut its doors with the negligence I experienced here.
I am not the type to write any reviews but this place well deserves one. I arrived at my appointment with my daughter at 10am her appointment was at 10:20am. If they cancel my appointment while I had already checked in. Reschedule my appointment for 5 min later? Waited till 11 to get her completely checked in. The lady up front who took her temperature and check her weight was the most rude person I have ever came across. She treated her like an adult my daughter is only 15 months. She then squeezed her little foot and squeeze her hand till the point her hand turn purple. I will be suing this place if my daughter end up with Bruces in either her foot or hand. So unprofessional they should honestly get more experience and professional stuff. The doctor up front was on her cell phone the whole hour and half I was there. This has honestly been the worse experience of my life. I honestly felt like I was in a nightmare. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
Got covid overseas and was able to get in and out with a prescription to minimize feeling like mud
Unfortunately, for me this flu and allergy season is kicking my butt. I’ve been to this urgent care twice in the past two months and both times couldn’t have gone smoother. I always check in online and find a time slot to pre-register for. (Note: If you keep refreshing the page sometimes slots open up.)Anyways, when you register ahead they text/email you a link to upload your information including insurance cards, ID etc. It’s a pre-registration form. When I came in today I was the only person waiting and was seen promptly. My vitals were taken upon entering the room and within 5 min the provider came in. Today I saw FNP Colosi. He’s very personable and prompt.I was in and out in no time and I feel like my issues were addressed properly. They use MyChart which is a super convenient way to see your visit summary and test results.
Very bad service, I came with my little toddler and they treat us very poorly. The staff extremely inpatient and rude ! Very unprofessional staff !
Good care that didnt take too long, it was late Friday so no point calling my doctor. I made appointment online then learned their procedure to check in. You can do it on a screen indoors if no one is at the desk but I got lucky and someone checked me in, then told me to go to my car until they texted me to come in. I saw a male med person, he asked questions, listened, told me didnt look like a problem. I was happy to get seen before the weekend and later everything was fine. Took less than an hour.
We had a very good experience with checking in and being cared for by the doctor and nurses. We saved a spot online and filled out the paperwork online also. At the time of our saved spot, we were allowed into the building and we were cared for in and on our way in under an hour -- that includes x-rays! Everyone was very kind to my son, and Dr. Cordle checked in with me twice while my son was having x-rays taken to let me know what they were doing and what they may have to do to treat him. He was very helpful and explained his reasoning with me during his diagnosis and treatment. I had been to this location a year ago and was not as happy with the experience then. I would not hesitate to go back now!
Read and trust the negative reviews rather than the lies that they are responding with. We just had the exact same experience as many others below and wished we had read them before we went. Two children, same room, same tests, same time. One child has a $160 bill. The other $350. We called, spent an hour on hold, was told they would review. We just received their rebill for the exact same amount as the original with no explanation. Gohealth and novant are fine but this specific location needs to be avoided at all costs as they are unethical crooks!!
The worst UC you can go, they prescribed me a medicine for the eyes that I couldnt find in any pharmacy because it was out of stock, for that reason I called them three times to ask them to change my medication for another, and the three times they passed me like a soccer ball and they told me they would call back, and of course! That never happened!! I dont understand how a place where I put my health in their hands and also pay them, have worse customer service than any place that sells fast food...
Not sure if I can give a zero star. Service at the center was good but their billing process is the worst possible thing on earth. We brought our kids for a cold and fever situation, they did the same tests on both of them, both had same symptoms, both tested positive for the same virus but one gets a bill for $33 and other gets a bill for $280, I have been on call with their customer service for hours and hours explaining this still they say no they had different test and claims were different thats why I have to pay more. Wait time to get a customer service agent to talks is hours and when you choose the option for them to call you back they don’t tell you when they ll call, they called me after 24 hours what if I was busy and dint pick their call so then I have to wait another 24 hours. Worst worst billing and CSR.
The staff were very thorough in determining my diagnosis and treatment. The additional information provided in the visit summary regarding things to do to ease my symptoms was very helpful.
Quick in and out after checking in online. All the staff was pleasant. My goto urgent care now.
The attention from personal at this location was good but their Billing system between GoHealth and Novant (MyChart) is not coordinated. Even if the payment for GoHealth Urgent Care was automatically taken out of my account, on MyChart the bill showed not paid I did not notice it was from the same visit and I ended up paying twice, their billing department was not helpful at all even when I provided all the documentation to proof I pay twice they said they only see one single payment which is not true. I had to call My HSA bank separately to have this issue resolved because Novant did not help at all. Never had an issue with them until know. They need to work in their system to have everything coordinated and updated when we make payments otherwise there will be more issues like mine happening.
Had been feeling bad with a very stuffy nasal problem since Thursday and my primary care doctor was out of the office until Monday. So by Saturday I really felt bad so I ended up at this Urgent Care. The young lady at the front was very nice. I didnt have a waiting time . The nurse was very accommodating and friendly. I saw a NP named James DeSimone. He was very professional and made sure I understood what he was explaining to me. Ended up with a prescription for pan sinusitis. I would come back to this location if needed
Visited for an allergic reaction.Pros: Polite and friendly staff. Doctor was informative and addressed all of my concerns. Great bedside manner.Cons: Was prescribed a cream that would have costed me over $55, whereas I could buy the same exact cream, over-the-counter for less than $5.Overall, positive experience. Save your spot and fill your info online for a smooth and quick check-in.
Came in 9/11, 10 am. Found their entire staff very friendly/helpful. Signed in as soon as I walked in. Was in a queue with many in front of me, many for Covid testing, mine was not. Waited in the parking lot as all of us had to. I respect that need and have no issue with it. Each person before me was attended to until my turn. I felt like I was there first and only patient and was given excellent care. Thank you
I just had one of the best urgent care visits of my life. The staff was so friendly and comforting. They got me in and out and were genuinely wonderful. I won’t hesitate to come here if I need urgent care.
This place is out of control! This is the third time that I have gone to this site and I havent been helped properly and sent to the emergency room! To top it all off as I was walking in music was at all volume and one of the nurses was there dancing along to it. Once my blood pressure was taken I was told they couldnt do any test there for me and sent me to the emergency room. Not caring that my blood pressure was very high and needed more attention. Terrible place, Healthcare workers should be more caring and attentive and that is definitely not what my experience was AT ALL. If Im not going to the emergency room its because I know how costly and urgent it is and did not need to! If they are going to send everyone to the emergency room maybe they shouldnt have the urgent care there to begin with!
Very satisfied with the customer services and the easiness to schedule a Covid test appointments. The staff was very friendly, explained details, procedure and answer questions to my kids. I had mistakenly stated that i was getting a test as a travel requirement, which was not. The rep did not charge us for what we would have had to pay if it was in fact a travel requirement. Very helpful people!
Horrible patient experience. I came to this location and felt like I was treated like a criminal. I tested positive 4 weeks ago for covid and I told the front desk staff. I was told to wait in my car since I was still having symptoms. I had set my appointment in advance thinking a doctor was going to check me out thoroughly. Doctor walked outside and walked back in and never came back out. I waited 30 minutes and decided to go to the er at atrium where they let me walk right in and are checking me out thoroughly like a patient should be. I never been treated this badly because I have covid. A lot of people are catching this virus and shouldnt be treated badly.
Best customer service!! Shout out to the nurse who took care of me! They seemed super busy with appointments back to back but I appreciate how hard they’re working. Nothing is worst than when you’re feeling under the weather and greeted with a rude receptionist or a doctor who’s uninterested. Everything is super clean and making the appointment wasn’t complicated.
I have been to this location on 2 separate occasions. The first time I went in for lower abdomen pain and was lead to xrays then told I would be called on another day to be seen for further testing and for me to wait until someone called me. No resolve or answer to my pain. Of course, I left there and went directly to the ER and was diagnosed properly and treated. The 2nd occasion was just the other day (thinking there would be someone different there) after having severe sore throat. I was treated the worse by the same NP. She ask me if my 1 year old had sore throat. I responded that my 1 year old had not told me that she had sore throat. She proceeded to attempt to do a Strep Test and followed with an attitude. She further told me that the test came back negative. I was so disappointed by her bed side manner. I knew I had strep because I used to get it frequently growing up. Here we are 2 days later and my throat is just as sore as it was the day I went in. No relief and this is beyond a sore throat. I had to leave a review because this is the worse treatment I have ever received. This office would do better by finding someone else better trained, caring, and more patient. Will not be returning.
I went here on a Sunday - 7.10.22 - and was able to be seen right away. Peggy helped at the front desk by texting me, trying to get my insurance sorted. Vishta was a great and personable medical assistant, asked good questions. And for the life of me I cannot remember my PA’s name, I believe his name started with a J, but he was a good listener, and with his insight and what he prescribed, helped me feel better. Thank you to the great team here! I will come again if I ever need to.
I was in and out of here fairly quick. Made appointment online and was seen within 10 minutes of appointment time (which was 4 hours later). But none of that matters if the provider doesn’t listen to the patient. I was told 2 prescriptions would be called in and was asked which pharmacy I wanted, I replied CVS and gave location. I left and waited a couple hours so it could be processed. Pharmacy told me no prescription had been called into any CVS. Long story short, my prescription was called into Walgreens 30 minutes away in another state. This was found out after this clinic was closed along with pharmacy. I had to make a video appointment to get a new prescription, which I had to pay out of pocket since my insurance had already processed the one I never picked up at the pharmacy that was closed. I will not return here.
Pleasant experience for a not so pleasant reason. Would go here again.
A couple weeks ago, I came to this location mainly for abdominal pain, but also had slight nausea, side pain, a low grade temp, and a couple of other symptoms. I was seen by Manuel. I will say he seemed pretty friendly, approachable and professional. As a nurse myself, I typically don’t tell healthcare providers so that I am treated just like someone who has no medical experience. I was given a pregnancy test, which was understandable. After the results came back, he asked if I was nauseous (which wasn’t my main concern) and proceeded to look in my ears and nose and asked if I have seasonal allergies (which also wasn’t the reason why I was there). He had the medical assistant give me TWO anti nausea tablets, which never helped. He pressed on my stomach, and afterwards told me that because I’m having “slight abdominal pain” (which was more than slight) and “I don’t have a fever” (which was 99.1 at the time), he didn’t think I needed to go to the emergency room. No labs were drawn, no x-rays were done. He went on to tell me about how much radiation I would receive if I ended up going to the hospital and getting a CT scan, which would have scared me if I didn’t know any better. Long story short, the next day I go to the ER myself and ended up having surgery to remove my appendix. So my visit to this clinic was a complete waste of money needless to say. Very disappointing.
I made appointment online for 8:15 am for my toddler. The service was friendly, clean, knowledgeable, and very sleek modern look. My two years love her Peppa pig sticker so she was happy about her service today. Will be returing. Brent NP was excellent and made sure I could understand everything, he is also patient.
Worst experience ever. I went in for a COVID test, they refused to test me because I hadn’t been quarantined long enough. So now I’m being charged for a visit for nothing. The PA-C said it was a consultation despite requesting to be seen for a COVID test. The nurse came in and took my vitals, I never once stepped on the scale and my paper work has weight for today that’s inaccurate. Also, my blood pressure was never taken. Bad business. I will not be returning. If they can easily falsify vitals, what else are they falsifying.
I could not have been more pleased with my visit today. The two ladies at the desk and NP Lisa were professional, kind and helpful. I came in with respiratory issues, had a Covid-19 test, exam and the prescriptions needed to knock out the problem were sent to my pharmacy, all in about an hour. Thankful for the staff and the negative result on Covid.
I’ve been to this location several times in the last few months for several different reasons. I’m always treated promptly, considerately and well by everyone.Sometimes it’s hard to get in to see one’s primary quickly but picking a ‘save a spot’ is convenient and easy
All of the 5 star ratings have got to be bought and paid for because this place is an absolute disorganized mess. I waited hours for a simple covid test and was never seen. If you have no life, enjoy sitting in a hot car in a hot parking lot, if that’s your thing then this is the place for you. Otherwise go somewhere else. No one told me how many people were ahead of me. Everyone who gets a test - positive or negative - has to see the provider???? WTH? The people working here are not at fault so no need to take it out on them but the processes put in place by the director(s) are trash. When you see that all of the ratings are either five star or one star you know something is up. That tells you the five star ratings are fake.
I went to this facility today for illness and pain. As soon as I told the receptionist my reason for the visit. She immediately cut me off and said the hospital is right across the street. I told her I didnt want to go to the emergency room thats why I came here. She rolled her eyes at me and said check in over there. I instantly felt uncomfortable. But I wasnt feeling well so I checked in. As soon as I coughed she jumps up and threw a face mask at me and told me that they was located the table and that I should have came with one on or asked for one. I figured she was having a bad day and I didnt have the energy for her bad energy. The other receptionist lady called me up to the desk. I was kinda relieved I thought I dodge the mean one. I didnt she was even worse she asked for my insurance card I only had a copy but all my information was visible she said this is what you give me to work with next time have your card and snatch the paper out my hand. That was enough for me. As horrible as I felt I would drive across the city before I put up with such bad customer service like that. They are two African American women and they have the worse customer service skills I have ever seen. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone!
Do not bother going. They advertised walk-in availability. When I showed up, I was told without an appointment I would not be seen. The receptionist was rude as possible. After I pointed out how her statement that was the opposite of their advertising, the doctor said Well you can wait til we close and see if we can get you in (4 hours). Do not go here. Rude and falsely advertised services.
I was greeted immediately when I walked through the door. Everyone was extremely friendly and expressed concern for reason being there. The doctor was great! She asked questions, listened and assist. There was also no wait time.
They do not honor Appointment times and are incredibly short staffed. If you need attention they try to pass you off to a virtual visit. If I wanted a virtual visit I would have booked a virtual visit. Correct your reservation system and bring in some more help
The receptionist and triage nurse was very helpful and Dr. John C was incredibly thorough and answered so many of my questions and concerns and his diagnosis was accurate and medication prescribed helped immediately 🙏🏽
Fast, friendly, and efficient. Exceeded my expectations on every level.
Doctor was disturbingly negligent with my daughter when she went and saw him on 04.19.22. She went in with fever, chills, vomiting amongst a ton of other issues that shouldve been addressed. She wanted to get tested for strep, covid, etc. He refused to test her, told her it was probably just allergies and wrote 3 prescriptions. One being antibiotics and the other being nausea medicine. What kind of doctor throws medicine at someone without a proper diagnosis. Id call it malpractice and he should no longer be employed there or anywhere for that matter since his job clearly isnt important to him.
This is the second time I brought my daughter in for illness. We unfortunately had the same NP that does not listen to the parent and over talks as you try to explain what is going on with YOUR child. And continuously states “ ma’am I do this everyday” you might do this everyday, but do not question a parents ability to know when something is wrong with their child. Especially someone who works in healthcare themselves. Unacceptable practice with pediatric patients at and their parents. I highly recommend pediatric patients go elsewhere for caring, appropriate and thorough illness treatment.
Pay alot just to get prescribed higher power headache medication only to have to pay again for another visit for refills. Poor service and ethics. What do u expect from a urgent care
They were so helpful and willing to extend themselves further than expected. I had to call up there and speak with another physician and get more info about my situation.
The fast service and the professional medical staff ⚕️
Very Professional Personnel I felt right at home
Everyone was very nice. Appointment was close to time I picked. They were very thorough!
The most efficient urgent care I have ever been to! They were personable, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient!
I cannot say enough good things about the staff of this location. My daughter & I have used them on 4 different occasions, over the past year. Every time they are quick, on schedule, caring, knowledgeable, clean, and beyond affordable!!! Cannot recommend them enough!!
I came because I had a swollen tonsil and was trying to get prescribed antibiotics due to that. The Physician at this location didn’t even bother to do a swab test (I’m currently finishing up nursing school. This is something basic that is taught) instead looks in my mouth with his iPhone and tells me “I think you might have an abscess, so I would go to the ER across the street”. Sent me to Atrium, and what did they say...”did they do a swab”? Of course they didn’t lol. So I got my antibiotics thanks to Atrium, and it wasn’t an abscess because the Physician there actually knew what to look for. I swear they let anyone become Physicians these days.
The individual who answers the phone has horrible customer services. She does not allow patients to complete a sentence, she has an attitude when patients are calling in andshe sounds frustrated . Please train her. She does not make a patients visit pleasurable and patients are already ill.
Fast and professional service on Labor Day.
I when to see if i could get tested for covid-19 after i told them i came in contact with a co-worker who tested positive for covid-19 they turn me away saying that the symptoms i had werent Covid-19 related.i told them i had diarrhea and the lady said diarrhea is not one of the symptoms of covid-19. after telling her i had come in contact with a coworker who tested positive. i never felt so hurt for in my life.
It was an awesome experience!! I would encourage my friends and neighbors to go there for Healthcare needs.
Walked in at 7:40 PM carrying my 3 year old son in my arms who was very sick with a fever. No one else was in there from what I could tell. Extremely indifferent and apathetic staff that just told me they werent taking any more patients. Ill never step foot in a Novant care facility again.
Dont bother going if you think you have the flu. He made it very clear that he wasnt interested in testing me for it even though I let him know that I have young kids. Also made it sound like tamiflu is a joke. $50 bucks wasted. This was my first and last visit to a novant urgent care.
Usually go to Atrium but went here since it had availability. Would rather wait two days for atrium than go back to Novant.Rude and short af. Order wrong prescriptions, wouldn’t answer the pharmacist calling to correct, and hung up on me when I tried to call to have prescriptions corrected.
My boyfriend needed to see someone, we arrived no later than 7:30 they close at 8. He was told they are not seeing any more patients. There was only one car in the parking lot. ☹️😡
Friendly personnel and quick professional treatment
Terrible customer service. They DO NOT accept patients under 6 months (even if they will be 6 months in 2 days). Women at front desk WILL make you feel dumb. I WILL NOT be back for the other people in my home who are older than 6 months.
I went there few time for testing . Sweet nurse, very gentle and caring, I forgot to ask her name, place is very clean, front desk is not too friendly but not rude.
Convenient to schedule, quick in and out, friendly/professional staff
The staff was friendly and nice. Everything was quick and I didnt have to wait long
Amazing services! Last minute emergency able to attend to our care 15 minutes before closing to attend to our needs.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the doctor was great. Appreciate the time and care there.
Lady up front wouldn’t even let me finish explaining what the heck I was saying, being waiting on my test results for since Nov 28th…first bad experience ever
Awesome experience We were seen quickly everyone was friendly and helpful!!
The staff was rude and dismissive , we just left because they did not want to help us and didn’t have any sympathy towards our situation . Do not recommend ! Just go to the emergency care at Atrium across the road.
Orin was very personable and knowledgeable.
Its a really bad place to get your COVID test from,It took HOURS for them to take my test and it’s too much money for that type of service I’m paying 135 dollars and I at least expect a quick service and the people there are very rude I asked one of them about my test and they responded with”no im not looking for you wait”
I didnt have to wait long. Staff was friendly and knew what was important, Me!
It says Appointment not required. My 8 year old kid was refused to be checked because they told us they only take appointments…what’s the point of calling it an urgent care? It’s not like I know when I get sick or get hurt
After being attacked by a dog and needing some medical help, I called this place, and they told me to come right in. I was in and out in 20 minutes and treated with great care! I’m so grateful this place was nearby and open.
Came as a walk in. Was told to make an appointment; made the appointment and came back; was we had an hour wait. Ridiculous.
Not a long wait..Care professional was caring, precise and good bedside manner
Satisfied with their services. Not too much wait time. Everyone was exceptionally kind!Thank you for all you do♥️
Terrible place to come if you need assistance for illness or injury. They never want to provide service the answer is always we don’t do that here you need to go the emergency room.
The staff was very friendly, I was able to book an appointment online and I was in and out in under an hour.
Ive only had positive experiences here. The nurse practitioners are great.
I liked how fast and accurate they were. They fixed my problem.
I was seen quickly, the Dr listened to me and was very nice!
Drove 30 mins just for them to tell me they couldn’t see me when they asked what i was being seen for before my appointment time.
The NP here was very friendly and informative. If we have any urgent needs we would definitely visit this location.
The waiting was not long at all, Very professional and friendly atmosphere
