Friendly and speedy service! I had the best experience ever at Novant Health-GoHealth urgent care. They truly cared about me and valued my time. Ms. Allen knows what she is doing, and it was such a relief. The nurse and front desk check-in(Irene) made me feel so welcomed as if they have known me for years. I cant speak enough on how Awesome the Urgent Care is. Keep up the great work ladies!
The entire staff from the people who checked us in, the nurse who took vitals and the doctor who treated our daughter, were so nice and sympathetic to what was going on. They kept us informed while waiting and thanks to being able to hold our place online, we were in and out pretty quickly. If we need urgent care again, we would go back here first.
I had a great experience here today! I booked an 8am spot and was in and out in about 30 minutes. The entire staff were all kind. Christina was excellent with taking time with me and making sure I understood everything and has a very caring/calming nature. Thank you!
New to the Carolinas and this was my first visit. I saw a note online about limited x-ray services, so I called ahead @9:12a, found out there was a tech there until 2p, and that I could make an appointment... for 9:45a. So I left work and drove over immediately. I was back in my car at 9:51a (no x-ray required) and back at my desk by 10a. Now if that isnt urgent care, I dont what it is! Everyone was super friendly, and the PA knew exactly how to fix me up! Very grateful!

I’ve been a longtime patient of Novant and have never received such horrible service. The front desk receptionist showed zero empathy and was rude to all the patients in the lobby. I understand having bad days but apparently this is a behavior and management does nothing about it. She’s condescending. She turns people away so they can leave on time (04/20). My family witnessed her cursing up a storm on the phone as well. She was also borderline racist to the only African American male in the lobby at the time. We have come here three times in a month and every single time, it’s condescending rudeness. We were turned away one day when we arrived before closing. I’m currently sitting in the wait room (before lunchtime) as my partner gets evaluated and I’m baffled listening to how front desk speaks about clients coming in and out. The gossiping and laughing is highly unprofessional. I’m absolutely disgusted.
I HONESTLY LOVED THIS PLACE! Extremely friendly staff, made sure to talk to my about my care routine, made me laugh and feel relaxed and comfortable. Plus the staff that was on shift that evening are from upstate NY, so we could chat about that.
Went for an insect bite that had become infected. She listened, gave me instructions on what to do and not to do, then prescribed an antibiotic. Such a caring duo there!
My recent visit at 5 pm on a Friday evening to the Ballantyne Novant Care was an excellent experience...I needed a pros advise on a nasty and angry cut Ive had for 4 days, that had me concerned...The receptionist, Tania, was extremely sympathetic, professional, and reassuring...I witnessed her kindness to other citizens who came in after me, and she made them aware of the wait time and assured them assistance. The doctor who helped me was excellent ~ knowledgeable, informative and professional ... I will definitely come here again, if necessary...Thank you !
The people were so so friendly. They got me into a room right away because I was having an allergic reaction and they got me a shot within 15 minutes to help.

Went in with a spider bite,…they totally took it seriously and administered the appropriate action and meds,…thank goodness no more red line and the swelling has gone down,…. Great Care 👍

Efficient, professional staff, they assessed and prioritized the most severe wound first-decisions were direct and focused on protecting the wound and stopping the bleeding. 9 stitches later I was good to go.
Urgent Care my ass if you call urgent having to wait 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours when only one other person is in the waiting room you guys need to take the word urgent out of your name immediately

Horrible experience. We had a virtual visit at 11am and based on the recommendation of the Physician on the virtual visit, we made an appointment to be seen at this Novant Urgent Care facility so they could listen to her chest. We took the first available appointment at 5:15. As soon as we got there an emergency came in. They came over and told us to go to an emergency room, because she was having trouble breathing. However, she wasnt having trouble breathing and never said she was having trouble. They began to argue with her and said we needed to go to an emergency room. She told them she wasnt having trouble breathing, and she would wait. They said no, they wouldnt have time to see her since someone was brought in ahead of her even though we had an appointment. They then refused to give there names and told us to leave. We wasted 6 valuable hours between the virtual visit and our physical visit and they couldnt have been any more rude or thoughtless. I will never go to a Novant Urgent Care facility again. Cathy Krump, the PA couldnt have cared less. Got her name off the board.
It was convenient to schedule/complete pre-check-in for my appointment online, I was seen promptly upon arrival, and I was in and out in 30 minutes.
My son had an injury in his toe and we recently visited this Healthcare Clinic as a walk-in patient, and unfortunately, it was an incredibly frustrating experience. Firstly, the wait time was excruciatingly long. Despite being a walk-in patient, I waited over two hours before even being called in for my appointment.Moreover, the person at the front desk showed shocking rudeness. Instead of showing empathy or at least basic courtesy towards the patients waiting, they seemed more interested in chatting with their colleagues and ignoring our presence. When I approached them to inquire about the delay, their response was dismissive and lacked professionalism.
The people who took care of me were very kind and friendly. The knew what they were doing and chose the best possible treatment option.

Professional nurses and doctors, clean and quiet environment, efficient and explained everything . I was able to be seen within 30 minutes of booking a walk an online appt . I was nervous since my primary doc was out on maternity leave, but the experience was great all the way around. Thanks to everyone who helped me there
Great, relatively fast, professional service. Made a mid-morning appointment, arrived 10 minutes early and was taken back to a treatment room about 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. Nurse finished taking vitals and brief medical history quickly. Waited 10 min or less for NP. Nurse practitioner was great to work with, diagnosed my concern, came up with a treatment plan. No hassles, no fuss. This is how a medical visit should go...no ones time wasted, all questions answered, correct diagnosis, treatment plan. Glad I chose this location.
Usually this facility is clean and has healthcare providers that actually care about customer service and professional decorum; on 12/26 during my evening visit, I was shown otherwise. I was spoken to in such a condescending way about the reason for my visit by both the Caribbean nurse at the check-in desk and the PA Oren Markowitz. To top it all off, they lied about sending my test in (which they didnt want to run to begin with) as well as villainizing me as a patient in my own medical records. I will be filing a formal complaint against these two people in particular because, to me, they tarnished the reputation of this location, devalued my experience as a patient, and neglected my request.
This place is such a scam. Someone else said this before, but there is this lady, Evelyn, at the front desk that is extremely rude to people. I can understand people have rough days but she needs to be professional and treat sick people in an empathetic manner. Totally unacceptable for someone in the helping / medical profession. FYI they don’t do x-rays, blood tests, or any diagnostic testing. Honestly was a waste of time coming and was just met with rudeness and judgement. 5 minutes speaking to the Doctor who couldn’t come up with a diagnosis and I’m still going to get charged for this ridiculous waste of time called a doctors visit.
The assistant and the PA both had a pleasant demeanor. I did not feel as if they rushed even though I could tell they were handling another situation and I was not the only patient they were attending. They paid attention to detail and gave the best possible care. The PA went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I would recommend this facility to everyone.

First impression of the office when we walked in was how clean and modern it was. Also it was so easy to get an appt and we were able to be seen BEFORE the appt time!The staff was exceptional. Went here because I was lightheaded and had a fever. Gave them my insurance card and they said it was covered. Two minutes into the exam they said I needed to go to the ER for tests. Total visit time was maybe 10 minutes. Month later I get a bill for $300 because my insurance was out of network. All for a 10 minute visit. Will not be going here again and cant wait for my $50000 ER bill...

My appointment was honored. The The nurse took me in within a few minutes. The first tests she gave me were for Flu and COVID-19 .The Doctor came in and knew what to do. She gave me the correct meds. 4 days later, Im feeling much betterConfidence 💯
This is the worst place , don’t ever come to this location.There is a long wait, they always say that there is only one doctor at facility.If they can’t afford more doctors at this facility then why can’t they close or hire more doctors.The doctors are nice but the Lady at front desk is very rude, I think her name is avelyn (not sure if i spelled right).she talks very rude even if you are ill or sick.I haven’t seen such a person in any location.I suggest please please stay away from the location.

The receptionists and the nurses were all wonderful, especially Shelley. This urgent care facility was recommended to me by another healthcare professional. I drive miles out of the way to go there as I find it to be the best Urgent Care in our area of Charlotte Mecklenburg County North Carolina.

Don’t do it. Front desk staff so incredibly rude. I’m a disabled person who is incredibly anxious and they were so nasty to me. I have a strange insurance year plan, and reached my out of pocket, which resets in April. I showed them my insurance app showing my 100% reached.The front desk staff said because I had a copay listed on my insurance card it didn’t matter I had to pay anyway.So what’s the point in hitting your deductible if they are going to make you pay? “They’ll reimburse you” she said. I’m covered at 100% currently. I have this plan and this coverage. I shouldn’t be paying at all.They turned me away.I previously had an excellent experience. I cried I was so embarrassed.Humiliating a disabled person. Thanks, y’all for the service.

I was shocked to be turned away with my daughter for not having an appointment at an Urgemt Treatment facility. I used to love Novant Health, however their quality of care has decline dramatically over the past few years. Very disappointing experience.
Novartis Urgent Care even though it was a holiday they took the time to see me 5 minutes before closing. The Doctor and the receptionist were awesome. I am so grateful that they were able to help me.

I am not one to write negative reviews, but everything that happened yesterday gave me so many red flags. The nurse was nice and understanding of what I was going through and knew how much pain I was in. When the doctor came in, he asked me what pharmacy I wanted my prescription to go to as did the nurse and I told both of them what address. No problem, right? WRONG. He even wrote it down and STILL sent it to the wrong one. As for the medicine he directed me to take 3 pills for 3 days and 2 for 3 days and that I would have some left over if I needed them. I got 10 pills. That doesnt make any sense. Basic math people. I told the doctor I needed a note for work, and he said okay, ill be right back to give you that at the end of my visit. 10 minutes went by and I was still in the room waiting for him to come back like he said he would. The nurse opened the door and looked surprised to see me in there and asked the doctor if I was done. His reply was Oh, I thought she had already left. .....WHAT? During the visit he was asking all the questions and then started losing his train of thought I know we are all human and tend to forget but for someone who is looking for help from a professional the last thing you can do is lose your train of thought while a patient is waiting for help with their ailments. Not to mention he told me there are people that will be calling me that day or today about some treatments that will help with my condition and he will be referring me to them and I have yet to have any calls. Basically, I paid $50 copay for a shotty attempt to get help from a doctor that I felt could care less. If you dont want to be a doctor or at least a caring one, then I suggest finding another job you would be best suited for.
I am blown away how kind, courteous and helpful the staff are at this facility. Since switching to Novant this year the standard of care has been fantastic. And today was exactly the same. A huge thank you to everyone for taking such good care of me and seeing me so quickly. Medical care does not get any better than this.

The two people who took care of my son did a great job he had to have a stitch put in his lip and my son is 2& a half years old so you can imagine how the outcome could be. The PA did a very good job the lady that helped I cant remember her name did a great job it went well because I thought it wouldnt. Answered all my questions it really was a team work thing they got us in and out we were a walk in no appt. I applaud them!!!
Tried calling the office numerous times but never received an answer. Luckily I was able to make an appointment. Upon arrival, they send you a text to call upon arrival. But to no surprise, the phone was not answered. My girlfriend and I walked in and was meet by an abrasive receptionist that yelled to stand at a specific spot to speak. She informed my girlfriend that she needed to complete the registration prior to the visit, so we did.During this time, numerous people walked in needing to see the office for testing and immediately got denied as they were not taking walk-in. But they have it posted walk-ins welcome!!! They were not helpful in any regards. Supposedly you have to wait hours prior to opening to see if you they can take you. If not you are out of luck. How was anyone supposed to know that when that is not clearly stated.We went back to be tested and the nurse was quite rude. Yelling at me specifically stating they don’t re-test etc. there again in a time of a lot of uncertainty, you are there to help and educate. But to be annoyed when everyone is trying to prevent this from getting worse is beyond me.And to add if you don’t have insurance be prepared to pay 135 out of pocket to be seen.Overall customer service is terrible. Understandably this is a high stress and risk job and I appreciate my healthcare workers. But to be treated with no respect or sympathy when all you are trying to do is prevent the spread and do your due diligence is beyond me.
I just went there with deep cut to a finger needing stitches. Bleeding heavily.They said they could not see me without an appointment!!!! Only one other person waiting in the lobby.What’s the point of an urgent care facility when they won’t take emergency walk-ins?The sign outside even says “walk-ins”.They direct me to go to another urgent care facility.If they advertise and operate a medical facility as an urgent care emergency and “walk-in”, they should ensure capabilities to accept bleeding patients.I can’t rely on this facility for emergency service for this community.I incurred extra costs (had to go to out of network), extra pain and suffering…..

Today was my 2nd time here in just a couple of months and as usual, (Ive been many times before), the staff was friendly, professional, personable. We all have a great time while they treat me. Its so awesome when you can sit there being jabbed with needles, stitched or cut open and laugh with the Doctor and staff. Thank you to Dr. Drummond, for your excellent bedside manner and communication, Nurse Nikki for your genuine care and concern and Nurse Shendre (forgive meif I spelled that incorrectly) for the pleasant care and giggles with the blood pressure machine. Its are always a pleasure! Until the next time.

Things can get a little hectic first thing on Monday mornings, but I had to fulfill a job obligation and get my flu shot today. I went to the GoHealth Urgent Care in Ballantyne. My experience was WONDERFUL! The lady at front desk, Angela, greeted me with a pleasant smile and began helping me get checked in. The provider, Christopher F, administered the flu shot without pain and did it quickly. I also needed another immunization that was not available at this location due to a nationwide shortage, so the provider helped me locate the closest NOVANT office that I could go to. That was so helpful! Now I am all set with my job requirements and it didnt take much time at all. The facility was clean and very inviting. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone looking for good customer service!
I’m a self pay patient and tried to call for their specific pricing for an office visit with x-rays. After speaking with the front desk, she was very rude and not kind. I am fully aware of what I was asking for and wanted to know what I would be paying. She explained $100 for office visit, $90 for 3 view foot x-ray. I then proceeded to ask if I would be charged for anything else, like is there a fee for the radiologist to read the images and dictate a report. (I work in healthcare and understand different facilities charge for certain things and others don’t.) She seemed confused or frustrated for me asking such a question. It was very frustrating trying to get a concrete answer from her and that she starting saying well I work up front and don’t deal with billing. I don’t accept that as an answer because a front desk personnel is the first person a patient comes to, to ask questions about their facility and should be able to help navigate through the questions asked. I just want to know what I would be charged for to decide where to go for treatment based on being a self pay patient.

The staff isn’t exactly friendly here. The doctor didn’t even give me a diagnoses. He instead handed me a pack of papers with probable illnesses and let me read them when I left. After 4 days of medication my condition hadn’t improved a bit. I called to ask what else they could do for me and they said “nothing”. This place just wants your money. They could care less about helping their patients. I’ve already warned others not to attend this facility.

We booked my daughters appointment online and once we got there the wait was quick. The PA working barely did an exam for my daughter, who was going in to be seen for a UTI plus possible mono or Covid. She had been sleeping 12 hour days for almost 2 weeks with upper and lower abdominal pain. She had a severe headache, nausea, vomiting and a sore throat. The PA “tapped” on her stomach and asked my daughter if it hurt, all while she was still sitting up. After working in healthcare for 12 years, I know what a proper assessment should look like and she did the bare minimum. That PA seemed nervous and unsure of herself. I wish labwork was taken and a covid test, especially since we were leaving the next day for NY to visit her immunocompromised grandparents. I hope my daughter is OK. The PA prescribed her an antibiotic at least!

Took my visibly sick toddler here are 4:40pm on a Sunday and was turned away. Signs outside say “Just walk in!” Apparently that isn’t true because she said I needed an appointment and there were none left. It will now take me more time to drive to another location than it would’ve taken them to diagnose her and type in a prescription.

I understand standard costs for urgent care visits are $70, but I am completely disappointed by the level of care.I had to take my own swab samples for lab work, and the suggestion was to “use like a tampon”, which was not helpful at all. I was concerned the sample may have not been collected properly, thus affecting the results of my lab work. I was administered both a shot & pill during my visit. Thankful the PA remembered to tell me the prescription she sent to the pharmacy was the same one that had been administered, so there could have been potential overdosing.I had to call MyCharts Customer Service to get the authorization information to register on the site to see my lab results because the office staff did not provide me with any credentials to do-so on my own.Then when my results finally came back, I had to call the office to get information about my results because it’s not in their practice to contact the patient to explain the information posted on MyChart.I spoke with an employee who explained to me if the lab results aren’t detecting anything, but you’re still having symptoms, to refer to an OB because they can’t provide help after that.$70 for the appointment & to take my own sample for labs just to be told “we don’t know”. INCREDIBLY HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
I am appalled by the lack of professional character and unethical code of conduct displayed by “Kris”’! This is my very 1st experience with a “Karen” and it was extremely emotionally upsetting. Just several days prior I was tested at this facility for Covid and unfortunately had a positive result, prompting contact from the local health department. As advised my daughter needed to be tested as she has had close contact with me prior to confirmation. On today she prescheduled and arrived on time. Within minutes of her scheduled time she contacted me via phone where I could here “Kris” refusing to provide care because she didn’t have her insurance (medicaid) card on hand. In the process she was belittling, rude, and lacked any form of empathy as a decent health care professional should. I must make it clear that daughter was just recently seen there in the past and verification of coverage could have been easily accessed with her photo ID and DOB. She then told my daughter if you want to be tested then you can pay up front. After listening for several minutes I disconnected from my daughter and called personally and received the same immoral and unethical treatment and was hung up on! At that point I went there personally and upon entering without any introduction of whom I was continued to receive the worse attitude i have ever experienced from any healthcare provider. When asking for the manager she replied “ i am a one man show” and I have already given that info to your daughter! I returned the rude dialogue and told her well now I am asking you for it for myself. The matter escalated where she decided to call 911 as if I had been the initial cause of this whole terrible experience. She became antagonistic and smirked and laughed, making it apparent that she was indeed the “one man show” of which she proudly self proclaimed. A provider sitting there did or said nothing in an attempt to diffuse the matter. He seemed to be enjoying the chaos! I retreated to my vehicle and placed a call to another Novant Urgent care and explained what had occurred and was asked my daughters info which I provided and it was confirmed that her eligibility status could be easily viewed in the system and they were apologetic that Kris was acting in such manner and said this isn’t normal protocol when a previous patient needs an evaluation/test. My daughter then returned with her insurance card once again Kris’ behavior continued, she again refused care! Another employee whom was in training had the courage to intervene and moved forward with administering the test to my daughter. Kris was not pleased with this and continued to belittle and antagonize my daughter. While this was occurring my daughter did record this with her cell phone. As I watched the video i became sickened to my stomach literally and there were no further doubts that we/she was being discriminated against in more than one way. I intend to escalate this matter as highly up as it can go! I plan to share the video with the proper individuals whom can intervene to ensure all measures of any form of disciplinary action is enforced. My daughter nor I will never ever seek care from this particular urgent care again.
My child was there 2 times this week and the second time had green coming from her eyes. She has been sick for a week and is still sick. She only received eye drops and cough medicine when she obviously has an infection. The doctors showed no sympathy for her pain. I would not recommend their services.

After waiting 3 hours at AFC and being pushed away, I decided to try here. They currently werent taking more patients but knew I was in pain and needed to be seen.. so they made it for work me! I was truly grateful! Very caring and friendly staff! I will be telling my family and friends about you guys! Thanks again!
I had the best PA experience - Shelley - was phenomenal. Her patient and bedside manner meant the world to me. I was in pain and she cared, was focused on my injury and was so so focused on me. She is a treasure and a great representative of the hospital system. I would go to her in a heartbeat again!
Rating would have been higher if it wasnt for the front desk. They are very rude. Especially Vanessa!!! When I called I could tell by her attitude she didnt want to be bothered. But sorry Vanessa, thats kind of what your job description is, to help patients and answer questions.The doctors are amazing but the front desk staff are rude af. Get rid of them!!!!
The staff at the GoHealth Urgent Care in Ballantyne Commons provided exceptional care. Ernesty really listened for understanding while I explained my vasovagal syncope reaction to needles and what I needed from them for everything to go smoothly for everyone. My visit was a great experience, from the medical assistant, xray technician & doctor! They were all so sweet & caring. They made sure I was comfortable & helped me with any questions or concerns I had, along with walking me through my treatment process, at home care, etc. An excellent experience with excellent staff :)
I Was experiencing dizziness and trying to pass out. I had my neighbour drive me to the urgent care in Ballantyne thinking I was having an anxiety attack or a blood sugar episode. I didnt realize an appointment was necessary. I explained my situation they immediately saw me determined I was having a heart problem and Sent Me to the ER. They were absolutely fantastic!
When everyone else turned my 6 year old son away, they saw him immediately! Ear infections diagnosed and only took about 30 mins! Thank you to the staff for being extremely compassionate to us!
NO DOUBT A 10!!! The Care Center was amazingly clean...Oconi (?), the receptionist and Shelly, the NP or Dr was friendly, polite and very efficient!! I would definitely go back and have already recommended it to my friends!!

Because of the pandemic it was almost impossible to see a doctor and when I finally was able to secure an appt at the novant urgent care my doctor marchelle Allen came in and completely took professional control of the situation gave me everything I needed and went above and beyond to make sure I was set up for success to get healthy again. I truly cannot say enough great things about her I wish she was my primary doctor all the time. I completely trust her with my life.
Went on website seen hours were until 8PM. Quickly find online appt for time avail. Drove all the way there to be told they were closing early for New Years Eve. It was 5.59pm. My appt was held for 720 I showed them the screen shot. I explained website stated open till 8 no mentioned of early closure like other sites had done, told them I called their office tried every extension just to be told unable to answer call leave a message to hear the voice mailbox was fill. Im VERY disappointed with this location and their lack of concern. I was told if couldnt wait until tomorrow go to the ER....Really? Not even a message on their answering machine to state early closure.
The medical staff and admin get 10 stars if I could give more stars. They were very welcoming and thorough and amidst a pandemic gave the best care and attention to detail I could ask for. As for a business standpoint I give Novant (probably most hospitals sadly) a negative 5 stars. There was not adequate supply for what was needed and staff had to help me with a smile on their face even though I had to drive 20 minutes away to another Urgent Care to get treated even though all urgent cares should have had these simple things. Staff stayed positive and did not blame the system- but I know healthcare workers are treated as pieces of a business not as individuals who are growing their healthcare business. Its super sad that Novant is more focused on this review I am writing instead of patient care. Novant needs to invest more in their healthcare employees and less in their business operations. I think if this place solely focused on patient care- their outcomes would be a lot better. Long review but hopefully management will realize the need for reform from the top down. These healthcare workers are hurting because of bad business decisions.
The provider was quick and caring. I was having an allergic reaction. She started treating me immediately. Her care and concern for me was top notch!
Horrible experience, went on weekend, they delayed the prescription to the pharmacy as the PA that saw me forgot to enter notes in the system and later sent the wrong prescription to the pharmacy and on further inquiry the operator staff was rude. I had to then goto my Primary Med.Though Ive launched an official complaint at both Novant and Insurance. This is an urgent care to be avoided and negligent behavior and non courteous staff. Total Rip off, incorrect medical prescription was sent, caused delay and absolutely poor quality of service. Avoid this place!Dont think any action was taken by Novant mgmt on the above complaint, as I have recieved the Invoice and no intimation of any reviews.Nov 7th, 2022 - Rude receptionist, no walk-ins, the entire care system is broken
This is not a walk in clinic. You must have an appointment. So this is not an urgent care, instead I will go to primary care physician.On top of this staff is very rude. They dont care if patient is pain. I felt like in a government facility where employees dont care about anyone.
Quite upset by the miscommunication from the center. I came in for a travel covid test and the staff was nice and fast so I was pleased by the service, the problem comes when it comes to actually view my results. I got a paper on how to sign up for Mychart to see my results. The paper said to use the access code and put in my birthday and the last 4 digits of my socials. Which I did and the website did not let me make the account. I tried a couple of times with the correct information and it canceled that access code because I tried too many times. I called to find out they used 0000 for my social security number since they never asked it...... How was I suppose to know this since no one told me?? Got told to call the Mychart customer service number that already closed. Their Mychart customer service number is only for Monday to Friday and my flight is Monday morning before their call line opens... Im so glad I got tested at a CVS too just in case something like this happened. If I didnt I would just have no way to get my results and have to miss my plane due to the PCR requirement...
Very disappointed with the approach they take with their appointment only system. My son needed a minor head wound closed. Was turned away from the first site bc of no availability, called a second site and was first told it would be a 256 minute wait (yes, two hundred fifty six) but they then turned me away as well bc they wouldn’t have restraints for my son. I’m not interested in having my son restrained, so we went to Atrium, where we social distanced, wore masks, and were in and out within thirty minutes, no tears and no restraints necessary.
I would like to thank Dr. Cordle and the receptionist last night at Ballantyne Novant Urgent Care around 7:30pm. I understand it was late but they still saw me and treated me in a timely fashion and I really appreciated their professionalism and compassion. Definitely recommend 5/5
My prescription requires a prior authorization. I called the provider who helped me and told her that my insurance needed more information. I called my insurance company, they called the office and Cigna told me that they were rude and said: we dont complete prior authorizations. Not sure why this is an issue but now I have to go get the same script from another Dr.
Visited the clinic in Ballantyne today, feeling very unwell. My provider, Brian Devlin PA-C, was so kind and showed a genuine concern for my health and comfort. Thank you, Brian, for taking care of me. You are definitely in the right line of work.
Terrible. The attending physician tried to pescribe me a drug I am allergic to THREE times. The physician also tried to pressure me into taking a lower dose of that drug when I asked for an alternative.Edit: Even if my diagnosis was entirely correct, I am extremely hesitant to follow this plan of care due to the above experience.In summary: I continue to be in increasing pain and am urgently seeking a second opinion elsewhere. I consider this visit a waste of my time and money.AS AN ALTERNATIVE: If you are experiencing a condition you have had in the past (ear infection, UTI, etc), or in need of a physical/routine test, I have had good experiences with several of the CVS clinics in the south Charlotte area.
If I could rate less than one star I would. I was told that my test results would take 3-5 days. It has now been almost 3 weeks. Each time I call Im treated terribly as if Im a bother. Customer service is important in healthcare also. Ill never plan to visit this location again.

Completely ridiculous! Urgent care is suppose to be walk in, hence URGENT CARE! They now only take apts and are always booked. What good does that do for someone who needs urgent care?Better off going to an atrium site!
I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I loved Chris Foster, NP. He is very funny and honest. My husband was able to laugh too, and we forgot I was in pain (until the needle). I dont want to have to go back, but if I did, I wouldnt mind.
After talking to the clinic and my insurance company, I scheduled an appointment to get tested for Covid. When I arrived, they refused to test me because I didn’t have symptoms.Wish they would have told me that before I took time off work and drove to their facility.
Awful. I had symptoms of strep and throat pain for days. After coming in for the second time because they wouldn’t see me the first day, they wouldn’t see me again because they told me I had symptoms of Covid, even though I had other symptoms that included those of another problem that I have already experienced before. They will let a person suffer for a week just because they suspect Coronavirus instead of treating them.
I dont think they understand medicine here. Wow. I just walked in with abdominal pain and a history of diverticulitis - a quite dangerous condition. They said no thanks.. no help in where to go. Nothing. I kinda think this might be illegal or worthy of discipline.. wow
My daughter fell at school and had a cut on her chin, and since I didn’t have her health insurance card they asked me to pay upfront, I asked if they can bill me that way I can have my daughter’s insurance involved and they told me no you have to pay upfront, which is ridiculous, if I didn’t have the money I wouldn’t been able to have my daughter checked, sad times we are living in.
They are terrible..dont go here. They had me sign inn at a kiosk...iPad. Then told me it would be a hour wait and the would callwaiting over an hour I went back in to see how much longer it would be. They said they had no record of my sign in and to sign in again at the kiosk...I did....then nothing...when I questioned the guy at the front desk he was very rude. This is why I hateHealthcare.
As I am sitting and waiting to see the doctor.The young lady at the front registration desk yells across the floor Ms. Moody you have a balance and if that balance is not paid today we can not see you. Privacy and confidentiality does not apply to this facility. I do recommend that this very unprofessional person get better training. This incident took on place 12/31/19 time about 2:15

Went in on Monday to this location and have flu/respiratory infection. Was given a script. Here on vacation and supposed to fly out late next day but can’t get out of bed due to diarrhea/coughing, usual flu symptoms. Asked for a doctor note for work and flight issues and they refused saying having the flu isn’t a reason you can’t fly or work. What kind of backwards doctor would ever say that? Instead I should get on a plane and infect everyone? Most absurd thing I ever heard. Stay away from this place!

I completed my registration only to wait two hours and a text told me I didn’t complete anything so I cannot be processed. When I asked what else was needed, they told me I no insurance, they told me the Covid test which is covered in the the CARES ACT would be $135/ per person because we did not have insurance. Thank you a waste of two hours of my day! Very disappointing, please help your patients!
Christopher and Angela H provided excellent service. They walked me through the whole procedure. Although the shots were painful, Christopher and Angela H kept me occupied with their humor.
Came in feeling the absolute worse. Staff was very tentative and the doctor that took care of me was extremely informative and helpful. Awesome job, definitely recommend this team for the job!

I actually made my appointment here,t thinking it was a different Urgen Care, but was very impressed with their courteous atmosphere and how quickly I was seen and taken care of.

Service was good and all the ladies were nice. Problem comes when I needed paperwork filled out for Insurance to approve Short Term Disability.
The worst experience ever! After waiting for an hour and 15 minutes, we were told that they don’t take our insurance! The receptionist should have told us that when we got there instead of wasting our time and energy.

Im surprised this place is open for business because there wasnt anybody there when my daughter and I arrived and they didnt provide care to her at all because they charge a $100.00 for upfront co-pay and then told her that she would have to pay again after being seen by the doctor. Apparently the doctor does the billing.... Strange operation there at this place!
