Visit was great check in woman niceKathy the Doctor niceno problems at all.Fast forward until todayWOW THEM( PLACE BAD WORDS HERE)Working there todayneed to change professionASAP like really just unbelievably RUDE,Mean and Lazy.My exact words.Im still sick it still hurts. The yelled response( Are you gonna allow me to speak)Like if thats not mean and rude coming from a place thats paid to heal us
This was my 2nd visit to this location and I will not return. I checked in on line so arrival was check in was fine even though they ever seem to make you feel welcome. The wait wasn’t long and when someone called me from a door down the hallway it was the same person that checked me in. She took my BP and other vitals and told me she was going to do a Covid test and a Strep test. My symptoms were severe sore throat, much coughing and severe headache and the loss of most of my voice. There seemed to be a bit of congestion in my chest that concerned me. She left and said the Dr. would be in shortly. After about 10 to 12 minutes a lady walked in and said her name which I didn’t understand since she was wearing a mask, she did say she was a PA. She told me my Covid test and Strep were negative. My BP was a bit elevated due to the pain and discomfort I had since Friday. She looked at my throat, listened to my breathing and said oh you just have some kind of virus and there wasn’t anything to give me. I asked if she could give me something for the cough and she said well I could write you a prescription but you can but something over the counter, I asked if she would write a prescription for something that would work and she said Yes. Returned home and woke up about 3:45am with severe coughing and a low grade fever, a bit of wheezing in my chest, I was up the rest of the night. I immediately called a different Urgent Care facility and asked if I could come in for a chest X-ray. They said yes of course, I went in was seen immediately, filled them on all the info. from Waverly. The Dr. checked my breathing and immediately said you could have Pneumonia or Bronchitis. Did the chest X-ray and once it was read came back and said so the good news it is not Pneumonia it is Bronchitis and I was running a low grade fever by then. Called in 3 prescriptions and an inhaler right away. Thank goodness I knew my chest wasn’t right and saw another Dr. right away.
From the time I walked in the door until I left it was a pleasant experience, I was greeted warmly when I arrived. I was taken back to an exam room quickly. Test was taken and doctor came in to see me as soon as test results were in. Extremely efficient. Would definitely use this urgent care again. Thank you.
Workers need to work on their communication and behaviour skills . I walked in , woman was talking with a mask on from far away across the room. When I asked the young lady with big long hair if she got my check in , she said we are very busy which didn’t tell me if I need to wait or come back . We sure won’t come back .
I have been taking my kids here multiple times in the last 2 weeks due to bad ear infections. Each visit has been amazing. The nurses plus Dr Hunkele have went above and beyond to make sure my kids were okay. Everyone was friendly, and the doctor was knowledgeable. We were in and out which is appreciated when you have a busy schedule!
This location was great! We were able to walk in and be seen quickly. Tracy was absolutely amazing! She was very helpful and provided all the aftercare info we needed. Sholanda got us checked in hassle free and was super polite! We will definitely be back!
Best urgent care I have been to in the Charlotte / Union county area! Doctor listened to my concerns and executed appropriately! Location is convenient and the staff is very professional and friendly! This will be my go to location for all my urgent care needs when they arise! Highly recommend!
Dr. Hunkele is so kind. His exam of my daughter at her recent visit was very thorough. He immediately identified the problem and provided treatment options and tips for home. She has recovered quickly and we are thankful!
Tracy boetto was the best she gave the right scripts for sciatia and with no pain killers. The only thing that i dont like about this urgent care is when you check in you have to use your cell phone to take pics of your insurance card and fill out forms when you are in pain it is a pain when your shaking from the pain in your back Thank you tracy job well done
Staff were all polite. Appointment was on time. The doctor took time to explain my condition and her care instructions.
No wait and the care has been great. However, I took my son to this location for bronchitis - they take your co-pay payment and then very non-chalantly tell you to sign the signature pad, advising that the first signature is for HIPPA and the second is for their financial agreement- which has always meant the standard, you acknolwedge you will be responsible for any balances owed after insurance at any health care facilty I have ever been to in my life. As were finishing up with the doctor, I then notice an email from Novant thanking me for signing up for their convenient payment agreement. An agreement I was not advised of and did not willingly enter into. When I question the receptionist up front- she proceeds to explain that they bear no responsibility at all for directing you to the obscure agreement they have printed out at the desk or to verbally advise that what you are actually being inatructed to sign is an agreement allowing them to store your account information and charge it whenever they please in the future. Completely shady business practices here to say the least- will never return to another Novant facility, ever.
Very efficient experience. I made an appointment and was seen after I had been there three minutes. The PA diagnosed my problem and wrote a prescription. I was outof the clinic within 15 minutes.
Great urgent care and the wait time is always minimal. We have brought our small children several times over the years. The staff are warm, attentive and helpful.
Had an excellent experience. PA Hayley went above and beyond in helping us and even in a follow up phone call after our visit. She is the best!
This urgent care is great. Every time I have been in they were quick and took care of my problem.I also like the fact you can schedule a appointment the day before if you need to
Great access and location. The staff was very friendly and engaging and professional. Scheduled appointment on line. They were all outstanding.
Got me in on time after making a same-day appt. All staff were warm and friendly. Had a quick xray, and the doctor was super honest with me in everything! Good place to go in a pinch :)
Quick turnaround scheduling and efficient, courteous and effective service. I didn’t know I could get this kind of medical service but from now on I’ll be using Novant Urgent Care .
From the time I came in with my daughter, the representative who was at the front desk, was very nice and fast. The nurse was very nice too. Dr Tracy Lynn was very helpful. She explained everything step by step on what I needed to do for my daughter to get better. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. 💛
I was experiencing a spike in blood pressure and had some dizziness along with several other odd symptoms, and wasnt sure if it warranted a visit to the ER or what. In years past, I could go to Presbyterian urgent care and they would at least show some interest in hearing my symptoms, check my vitals before telling me to go to ER, or at least help narrow down whats going on. The people there at my recent visit had very little in the way of compassion or interest in helping me. Im sure there are wonderful people who work there, but I guess they were out to lunch or something.Told me either go to ER or call my doctor in the morning.I took a double dose of my blood pressure pills (within my doctors previous recommendations) and drank a bottle of water in the parking lot, then went home pretty disappointed. Called my doctor and set up an appointment for a cardiologist to rule out major stuff, which is only a month long wait.Next time Ill just go to the ER. This place is apparently for minor issues that arent so...urgent. My, how this institution has changed. I miss Presbyterian so much. Nothing like my previous experiences with the Novant network, either.
I always get the attention needed to help with the best outcome. The staff is always very nice. Even though providers rotate, they are always pleasant.
Always great care! They squeezed me in on a very busy Sunday. Rich, the nurse practitioner is excellent! Thank you for providing expert, compassionate care and a remarkable experience! I am feeling much better!
I didnt have to wait long, and the doctor was very thorough and detailed in his explanations!
How punctual everyone was and the doctor I saw, Jessica was amazing. She was there to listen and figure out what was best for me. Also, the lady that gathered my info and symptoms was great as well! Such a great experience. I feel confident I will be back when needed.
I literally walked in. They said they cant help me and told me to go to the ER. Just got a bill for $484.00.
Horrible service. They want to get paid to evaluate, but then send you out. Whats the point if I needed to see someone else. Say it
First time at this Gohealth site was quite impressive. Site was clean and organized. Check in and registration was simple, easy and user friendly. Staff was personable, kind, meticulous and thorough in addressing my needs for the site visit. Would highly recommend and definitely considered going back to this site again in the future!
The entire staff was professional & courteous. The attending P.A. , Samantha , was very sweet, knowledgeable , and demonstrated genuine concern regarding my issue. In addition, the attending nurses shared similar traits. I am a happy camper indeed!!
Very easy online checkin and amazing service. Was in and out in less than 30 and the provider really listened to me!
Dr. Hunkele is friendly, professional, and well-informed. Also helpful! I was very pleased.
Took me in just before closing and was very efficient but patient. Saw Tracey FNP at Waverly!
This urgent care was one of the best I’ve ever experienced. I made an appointment and they got me in right around my scheduled time. The nurse was kind and helpful, but Dr Brian really went above and beyond in providing kind care. He made me feel like I had been a patient of his for years, when in reality I had never met him! He was patient and funny, and made sure to get me what I needed to feel better! Will go back in the future!
Efficient and caring. Since it is difficult to get an appointment with my regular doctor it is comforting to know I can get a same day or even same hour appointment at a Novant-GoHealth Urgent Care. I have been there half a dozen times and always satisfied.
Didnt get to see a doc as I left the premises for the urgent care across the road that treat me so well the day before. Booked an apt for 210 pm online, and arrived a little earlier than 2 pm. Was told to wait till 2 to be checked in (at this point no one waiting or being treated). At 2.06 pm i asked the very rude receptionist if she would check me in. She told me she wouldnt until 2.30 pm because people had to come back from their break. Showed her my 2.10 appointment and notice to show up 15 minutes before and she just said that is this not how it works. Then pretends to call a supervisor who of course agrees with her. At this point Im running a 102 fever... I will make a formal complain. Across the street they have already checked me in and are preparing a room. Worse service ever in medicine, zero concern for my health state to even respect their own appointment. The receptionist is one of the rudest person I have ever seen in a reception anywhere. And a lies.Update across the street rhey have already run tests and took my vitals before my potential new check in time according to the rude receptionist
Everyone was super nice and quick to get me in. I felt like my concerns were heard and addressed. Thank you for the help!
Short wait, friendly staff, wonderful and friendly doctor! A great experience!
The front desk women was polite , pleasant and happy. She was very efficient and did it all checked me in, cleaned the room, took my vitals and administered my shot. She was a rockstar and a great employee. The doctors was very friendly, personable, efficient and listened. Another amazing employee. I was very impressed with your staff they were amazing!!!
Go across the street to the Atrium Health Urgent Care in Rea Farms if you need service and do not have a planned urgent concern ie an appointment. This place claims that they have patient, empathetic, consistent care and they have absolutely none of the above. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. The receptionist, Bianca, has ZERO professionalism or customer service skills. There is no way that the staff is being properly trained and it begins with what’s accepted as the organization’s culture. I came in after work for my 8-year-old son to be seen for a bite on his forehead that was increasing in size (allergic reaction) and instead of the staff seeing him the receptionist was completely rude. The office space is a small open office concept where conversations are easily heard. After speaking with me to ask what we needed the receptionist went to the back where the provider was situated and communicated that we needed to go somewhere else like the ER or come back the next day with an appointment. There were no other patients in the office outside of us but the receptionist prompted the refusal of services. I told the receptionist that this was not acceptable and asked to speak with the provider as the initial back and forthengagement took longer than it would have taken for the provider to look at my son’s head to identify the bite. Bianca, the receptionist, became upset that I told her that I wanted to speak with someone else or whomever is over the location and she told me that that there is no office manager and I could go online to file a complaint but if I did not leave she would call the police. This lady called the police and told them that it was an African American woman with extensions that was in the office and needed to leave who was “hostile”. This was not a person from another race saying this, this was a black woman. I recorded the entire incident and will be sharing my experience within the community and throughout Novant’s leadership chain. There is no reason that a family comes to an office for treatment of a child and leaves with this type of experience. Needless to say, I waited around to speak with the police as there was no reason for them to be called to begin with so I ensured that the facts were conveyed. Upon the officer’s arrival the receptionist greeted him with, “same thing, same issue,” which made me aware that this is her go-to method. I am not certain who is allowing this to occur with Novant’s management but this is a problem. I will be reaching out to the corporate office to voice my grievances. UNACCEPTABLE
Doctor was nice, quick in and out. But the Receptionist was rude and barley even looked at me to talk because she was too busy texting on her phone.
Low wait time, cleanliness and the doctor and staff were very friendly and helpful
Yea the receptionist was very professional and helpful. She clearly could tell i didnt feel well so she was politely asking me to complete my check-in from the text Bcus she noticed i wasnt paying attention also my nurse was super nice and caring she was very pleasant and i typically have a elevated blood pressure every time i go to the doctor but she was ok she got me to calm down to get my blood pressure. The doctor was very informative asked me a ton of questions and he listened to my concerns got me the X-ray that i needed and the X-ray tech was pleasant and helpful she took all my jewelry off for me and put it all back on🤦🏽♀️. So if you’re not feeling well it’s the best urgent care ever!
I came in today to have stitches removed and the receptionist asked if I had an appointment. I was told twice that the day of the stitches that no appointment was needed. The receptionist was very rude and had me just stand in front of her. She then rudely said well just take a seat. She never asked my name or any other information. This is a normal occurrence for this location. A patient is always treated as a piece of trash when you walk in. The doctors are always very nice and professional and thats the reason I come to this location. Thanks RandyA black family just walked in and the receptionist was totally bubbly and of course the receptionist is black. OH MY!@@
If you need same day care, consider trying out the on demand video appointments on MyChart for a Novant provider instead of urgent care. (Of course this wouldn’t work for all medical needs but it could help some!)I didn’t actually stay to be seen so my review is about the reception and check in process. I was a walk in, because there were no same day appointments. I was told it could be a 3 hour wait and that they would squeeze me between appointments. I waited an hour, they couldn’t update my place in line, or time update so I left. I felt like they didn’t care at all to make an effort to at least make me feel like I was in line. Patients with appointments kept walking in, so those of us who walked in kept getting pushed back more.
The Waverly Urgent Care was very efficient. I had a save your place and they took me in on time, allowed walk ins unlike the Ballantyne location who has twice been rude and unhelpful. The quality of healthcare at Waverly truly showed compassion and commitment to taking incredible care of patients from the front desk, to the nurses and the PA! Made me feel better just being around their kindness.
Staff here are very professional and kind! I was in and out quickly! I came in with an eye injury and was referred to an eye Dr. The PA, Lauren Goble called to refer me and I was able to be seen by their office immediately. Lauren was great and I recommend this urgent care!
I was not feeling well pending test results . From the minute I got there to the minute I left everyone was so caring and helpful . The place was clean and well put together . The provider that saw me had good bed side manners her assistant was just as kind and friendly . I don’t want to visit again as who likes being sick , but now I have an urgent care place to go too if I have too . Thank you for taking care of me .
The receptionist was so polite. I felt welcomed and well taken care or. The Physician Assistant was patient, informative, and empowering. They addressed my challenges in a timely fashion and I was impressed with the warm and courteous atmosphere.
Great service! I appreciate everything you guys did for me! Big thank you!
The facility was neat and clean, I was called at appointment time without having to wait, the physician understood my illness and prescribed the right medication, and the reception staff were friendly.
UPDATE: You can see below that they will reply with an apology to a low review and ask you to reach out to them with your concern. We did that and no one ever got back to us. Those responses are all for show, no real attempt at resolving the problem.I thought we were the only ones with a terrible customer service experience, but it appears there is a real pattern at this place after reading other reviews. When we arrived, there were 5 staff members all sitting at their desks and zero patients. The attitudes and behavior of the staff was completely lacking. For an Urgent Care facility, there was no sense of urgency and a complete lack of care or concern. While waiting, some guy walked in and walked right to the back to shoot the breeze with one of the staff members. I wouldn’t have minded if they were just nice to us whilst checking us in, but that was my breaking point. As we finally decided to leave and told them we were going some place else, they suddenly became super nice and brought us to the back room immediately while apologizing. It’s hard to give one star because they did correct the behavior after I said something, so I give them 2 stars. They really just need to take customer service training. It’s not that hard to greet people with kindness.
I arrived at about 6p and was told I couldnt be seen but offered a virtual visit. I let them know I think I have strep throat and they offered to swab me so I wouldnt have to come back. Turns out I was positive and because I was able to be accommodated I was able to start antibiotics that night. Very grateful!
Weve never been treated more carelessly at a care facility than we were on 11/25/22 at Novant Health-Go Health Urgent Care Waverly by Dr. Kasaji, and his staff Leslie, and Jesse. We were greeted with frustration from the check-in staff when we informed them that we were there without an appointment. One of the ladies literally rolled her eyes at us while the other completely ignored us and wouldnt make eye contact at all. We waited for over an hour as not one but both of the ladies at check-in repeatedly entered our insurance information, our sons DOB, and even our address, incorrectly. Which is utterly ridiculous because our PCP is located inside of the same building on the next floor!Dr. Kasaji made sarcastic remarks about wearing a mask, and after refusing to allow him to perform a test on our 6 year old son he proceeded to ask us, then why are you here? Our son had spent the past hour in the waiting room coughing excessively... we were there because we had to be, not because we wanted to be and, in an effort, to make a long story short, I will say that we would have preferred to be turned away than to be treated in the manner we were, so needless to say we did not trust our sons care in their hands and did not allow Dr. Kasaji to complete his examination, we left and took our son to Atrium Emergency Room across the street where we received much more professional, friendly, and effective care. We will never step foot in Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Waverly again!
Superior care received here. They took me in promptly. The facility was spotless clean. Brian Devlin and staff including Shakira were genuinely concerned, attentive, friendly and professional in every way. I would highly recommend this office for urgent health care. I am very grateful.
Gigi- the rudest, most belligerent hypocritical person who deserved to be terminated . Walked in. She had no mask on then demanded me to wear one. I asked her where hers was and she stated “ I don’t have to answer to you”. Left a message with her supposed supervisor but no word back yet. Of course a black man walked in after me, and she was chipper as could be. The doctor, Brian, was very nice and helpful - as were the rest of the ladies working there but Gigi needs to be FIRED. If I spoke to customers this way, I would have none.
The facility got me in and out in no time! This is the best urgent care in waverly!
This urgent Care is open until 8pm, so I came in with my two toddlers and I thought it was a good sign that the parking lot was almost empty. We walked inside of the urgent Care and the waiting room was completely empty. One single person was in the entire waiting area besides the young lady behind the desk. She asked if we had an appointment and I told her we did not she told me they could not see us today. I asked her why and she said they were still catching up from their morning appointments, but there was not one single person besides her anywhere to be seen. And the place was deafening silent. So she turned away a two-year-old who needed to be seen because they were catching up from morning appointments at almost 6:00 at night!? I told her that I thought the purpose of urgent cares were that you could walk into them when you needed medical Care and she told me that we needed an appointment and went back to her computer screen.
Clean , brightly lit office. Everything was explained to me in terms that I could understand and follow up care was also offered. The entire staff was patient and friendly. Dr. Mohammed even offered aftercare at this facility should my symptoms persistent.I appreciated that. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment with my PCP right after I’ve been seen in urgent care. So it’s nice to know that I could come back and see the doctor again if I was still having that issue in a few days. Excellent service.
The staff was welcoming and efficient. I had wonderful care by the nurse and PA. I was in and out within 1 hr. I couldnt have had better care anywhere else.
The last time I was there, the area was comfortable and the staff was encouraged to be friendly. At least, that’s the vibe they gave off. They cared.Today, it looks like is has been sanitized, and I don’t mean clean. I mean lacking of any type of warmth or personality. The wait area is cold and the chairs not really comfortable. It feels like you are on an assembly line - not a great way to feel walking in for care.Another issue is payment. I walk in expecting a $25 or possibly $50 copay - it was $100 ?? I don’t remembering that being the copay for my policy, but either way I don’t have that money. My hubby is in between paychecks and my work is commission based and my next check won’t be for a couple of weeks. When I stated that I don’t have it, they said, “Office policy. I’m sorry.” Not, hey, we can talk to billing and maybe work something out, or we have programs to help if you need it? Just a flat, “Office policy...” I cancelled my appointment and walked out. What more can I do? I feel like death warmed over and am not up to the kind of energy trying to work that out with an unwilling participant would take.Further, while I never made it to the doctor, I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE! Any doctors’ office is a reflection of them, both professionally and as a human. I choose my doctors carefully and I firmly believe their goal is not helping people, it’s only about money. They made the office more modern and “efficient”, but sacrificed the personal touch with the clients for the bottom line. I hope this isn’t indicative of all of the Novant network!
Woke up with vertigo, made an online appointment and got there in ten minutes. Waited for five minutes in the waiting room. The registration was easy and I did it while my husband drove me over. The doctor was great and I got exactly what I needed. Everyone was friendly and I was out of there in 30 minutes on a Saturday at 10 am. Felt well enough that night to attend an event.
I just had the most wonderful experience! I took my 4 year old son in 3 minutes before closing for an ear infection. The nurse and Dr Kasaji were very attentive and caring. My son talked about how nice everybody was the entire way home. Very fast and efficient! Thank you for taking such good care of my son!
The doctor was very nice. There was a problem with the check in. I arrived at 6 oclock PM for a 6:40 appointment. I signed in at the kiosk, but somehow my name disappeared from the list. I went backup to the counter and told them that my name was no longer appearing on the scrolling screen. They apologized and took me back for my appointment At 6:45.
My experience was wonderful. I am a Certified Medical Assistant who used to work for Novant Health and it was wonderful to see the high standards that this office had. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and the level of care I received by both the PA and CMA. Thank you and keep up the awesome work. Just an FYI: I went to your clinic because of the care I had received a few days earlier at my PCP office. I had been very disappointed in them their lack of professionalism. I would return to you all. I am in search of a new PCP office.
Ooh..nearly 4 hrs at this Urgent Care..close to 2 hrs in the nearly empty waiting room (yes I’m sure there were a couple of scheduled patients being seen) then another nearly 2 hrs for basic tests like an EKG and an X-ray. Staff only so-so, didn’t feel they were very helpful initially. Christina the Nurse Practitioner very nice, as was the EKG lady. Not particularly thorough until I brought things to their attention. unfortunately there is absolutely no reason for someone to have a nearly FOUR hour appointment. If there were another competing one I’d go to that. A Subway Gift Card would be nice considering most people would complain about their FOUR hour appointment, a ‘Please turn off your phone’ sign a must, and a place to charge your phone since FOUR hours is really ridiculous.
Terrible experience! I walked in with chest pain and shortness of breath. Before I even got to the front desk, the receptionist threw up her hand at me and waived me over to a kiosk to check in. When I had finished typing everything in, she told me to go sit down. After about ten minutes, she called me over and asked for my insurance card. After she finished her forms and verified my ID, she finally asked me why I was there. That really should have been the first thing she asked me...not after I’d been there for 15 minutes. The nurse came and got me and she was great. Immediately hooked me up to an EKG. The doctor came in and said that my heart looked fine. I reiterated that I was having chest pain and shortness of breath. He did nothing. He told me that I could go to the ER if I wanted to, but I’d be wasting my time because there was nothing wrong with me. Well, it’s a good thing that I didn’t listen to this guy. I went to the ER and they found multiple blood clots in my lungs. They said I could have died. Guess it didn’t occur to the Waverly doctor that there are other things in a person’s chest besides their heart. Total incompetence!
Website said it was less than 15 minute wait but when I got there 30 minutes later, they said there was only one provider and they couldn’t accept more patients. Before even asking me why I was coming to an urgent care, they said the only patients they were able to take in we’re “really sick” and wouldn’t check me in. They close in 2.5 hours and the waiting room was empty. Wait time was not accurate and assumed I wasn’t sick enough to see a provider without asking me what was wrong.
Dr. Kasaji was amazing! He has the perfect bedside manner with children. I had an appointment at another GoHealth UC and came to this location by mistake. Instead of having us wait or leave to go to the correct location, he graciously expedited getting my daughter into a room and promptly returned to complete her exam. My 21 month old can be challenging when it comes to exams but he was quick, while remaining thorough and I very much appreciate that! I am grateful to have had such great care for my daughter in such a high demand and stressful time, especially in the urgent care setting.
It gets harder and harder to see my primary care provider. GoHealth is a convenient way to see a provider when something is wrong. I will always use the portal to save a spot!!
Easy 10. Thank you! 10 for Quick appointment. 10 for front desk staff was very nice and helpful. 10 for a great doctor!!! Best urgent care visit, Ive ever had.
Staff was very inconsiderate. I had a appointment at 2:45 pm set in the waiting room till about 4pm because they would not see me because of my insurance. I have been to this same place several times and never had this problem. Smh I give this place a 2 thumbs down👎👎
I have never been treated so unkindly and unprofessionally by a front desk member in my life. The front desk lady Ms.Jess became furious when I told her I was self-pay at check out. She said “ You should have told me when you came in””my register is closed”. So she would not allow me to pay out, I had to contact the manager and will be returning tomorrow. I had no idea, I was just asked for my ID and told to wait. I am a healthcare professional myself, and I am not sure what kind of rearing Ms.Jess had, but she is a representative of Novant and needs to behave like a medical professional. The rest of my experience was prompt and great. Was in and out and received great care by the nurses that saw me. Everyone wore masks and the facility was very clean.
The staff is friendly and helpful and I never have to wait long.
The staff were great. Very friendly and professional. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes
Very easy check in process facilitated by pleasant and welcoming staff. Provider was extremely attentive and spent time with me to brainstorm the best treatment plan. Highly recommend!
Excellent Experience. Dr Kasaji wss great. Very thorough, a good listener and kind.GG at front desk...and fid initial assessment was great. Strong Customer Service. Kind
I cannot explain the care, kindness, and the incredible skill of this whole practice. Dr. Johnson saved my husbands life with emergency bypass and the excellence of every part of the staff was beyond reproach. We are forever grateful!
Visited Novant Health - GoHealth Urgent Care at Waverly today. My family and I had a great experience. On-line check-in was easy, very little wait time in lobby, staff was super friendly. Great experience with the physician on-site as well, Dr. Kasaji was amazing. My family and I will definitely be back!
The doctor and nurses I saw were so sweet, kind, and gentle with me. The facility was very clean and I felt very safe and taken care of!
My six year old son was bit by the neighbor’s dog. It was a Saturday morning. It was a deep bleeding puncture wound. We saw Dr. Brian Devlin and he made such a difference in what could have been a scary experience my little guy. He was so kind, patient, and gentle with my son, talking to to him and taking his time to make sure Sam felt safe and taken care of. We started off crying and left feeling brave and knowing how to attend to his wound. Dr. Devlin also made sure to put an emergency note on his hand specialist referral so we were called first thing Monday and seen that same day. Thank you so much for exceptional care!
This evening I walked into this urgent care facility with a medical emergency. It was 5:52pm. I was greeted by the nurse because the receptionist had stepped away. Upon sharing why I came in I was advised to fill in my name on the iPad. When I was done it stated I would not be seen for 85-90min(the lobby was empty). I showed the nurse my emergency and advised I needed to be seen sooner due to a limb swelling and turning blue. By then the receptionist was coming back and they both proceeded to advise me they were booked the rest of the night and I would not be able to be seen. They advised that appointments were filling their evening and they were back to back due to flu season. I again stated my emergency of my swelling and blue limb and they offered to google another urgent care I could go to. I asked if they were really not going to help me and that I was very concerned and they still turned me away. I find it hard to understand how you can refuse service in an emergency. What if I had gotten much worse on my way to another clinic? What if something awful had happened because you couldn’t take 5 minutes to help. So disappointed in the lack of empathy and assistance from medical professionals. I will be reaching out to as many people as I can to share this awful experience and lack of care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to see me. Ms. Christina is an absolute angel! Shes a gem. Thank you once again for all your patience with me. I appreciate your great customer service! That makes a world of a difference, especially in such troubling times. You guys will always be my go to place for urgent needs. God bless you all!
I visited this site today, 09/06/19 for a cyst I had on the right side of my face. The nurse was AWESOME!! I dont know her last name but her first is Ms. Lisa, black lady very kind, Caring & concerned. The dr. Performed the procedure, but with very little effort to clean the cyst out completely.. afterwards the nurse noticed I was still bleeding, removed the band aid he attempted to cover it with instead of packing it with gauze, And stayed with me until I left the room. She went through several packs of gauze attempting to stop the bleeding.. Again Ms. Lisa was / is AWESOME, the dr., Not so much!! This site is very convenient but is nowhere near worth it with the poor care I received today. Very disappointed..
Great friendly staff (they get a 5star) but subpar doctor care! While properly diagnosed he did not properly treat my son and I with the correct medications. I had to take my son to his pediatrician afterwards who luckily saw us right away considering how serious it was and gave the additional medications that I originally requested at the urgent care. Never going back there.
The staff was so helpful and friendly. Dr. Devlin was so great with my 7 year old son and such a great caretaker. Thank you for a quick and fabulous visit!
March 1st, so even the response from the owner below is supporting this rating. The owner wrote a nice response for the public to see yet no contact or radiologist results have been given to me since 2/11 and my feedback below... I scheduled an appointment online for Monday 2/11. I was at urgent care to get xray of foot/toes. My appointment time was delayed then I still was there for 3 hrs. The front desk, nurse, doctor were pleasant. The doctor thought she saw a possible fracture over an old one. She sent xrays to radiologist to review closer and that she or someone would follow up with me by Wednesday 2/13. No follow up . I called in on 2/13 and told that by Friday 2/15 someone will call with results of radiologists review. No call. 1 week later, there has been no results shared with me from an URGENT CARE visit. This is unacceptable service that I and my insurance company pays. I will report this urgent care to insurance company for results of my visit not shared with me, let alone not in a timely manner.nu
Faith is a wonderful medical professional. Our daughter needed staples and she provided a great level of care and empathy. The treatment was quick and efficient.
This location is horrible I was seen about 2/3 months ago for a swollen thumb. My first visit the doctor took an xray and said it wasnt broken or bruised. He had the nurse give me a short for pain and sent me home with a splint. I was in pain all night. I went back the next day mind you having to pay 2 copays. The second doctor said clearly it was infected so he numbed my thumb and cut it to drain the infection out and gave me a prescription for an antibiotic. I felt so much better after my second visit. I wouldnt advise my worst enemy to this place.
On Thursday we came with the child after the fall. The picture was taken immediately, but no one could see the picture until Sunday !!! After they looked at it on Sunday, the doctor wrote that everything was fine in the picture. I asked to write my pictures to disk. I was given two blank discs without recording. We went with the child to another clinic, did a second X-ray and it turned out that he had a fracture of the collarbone
Cant recommend this place enough. They have been able to get me in twice now on short notice and even today on Christmas! Thank you all for being there, you guys saved my kids Christmas. Also a special shout out to Leah Doane the PA that helped me. She went over and above to help get me what I needed while being very caring. She could have been bitter to have to work on a holiday but she didnt show it if she was. Thank you!
I went in for a visit at novant health and it was really a terrible and unwelcoming experience. I saw Christine the PA that works at this location. To begin, I was experiencing terrible neck pain and was having pain when I swallowed food, water, etc.. which I had never experienced before. Christine the PA walked in and introduced herself. She then decided to test my range of motion and had me move my head back and forth and side to side. While doing this motion I was going fairly slow because I was already in pain. She then very condescendingly tells me that this is not a complicated process and that were not doing anything that requires a lot of complexity. She then also negates my pain level and decides that my pain is not significant enough for her to do anything for me. My husband and I were completely shocked at her comments and her lack of care and professionalism. I mean its the beginning of the visit and you can only imagine how the rest of it went. When I told her that it hurt to swallow and I could feel the pain in the back and on the side of my neck she began to laugh and said REALLY? hmm, thats interesting... she then tells me that its due to stress? How exactly can you say that nothing is wrong without running any tests? She then tells me that if anything was wrong with me I would have let her know by now as in injuries, or other pains. Which I kept reiterating the fact that i was in alot of pain. When I asked about running tests she responded by saying, well your neck is not broken so theres nothing we can do for you. I never came in saying I have a broken neck or that is what the problem was... In getting a second opinion of course it turns out that I have an issue with my disc. So $135 down the drain to get my blood pressure checked and temperature taken. She did not provide any service at all. I did not receive any prescriptions either even after explaining that i had taken tylenol and advil and they were not helping with the pain. The doctor that I had saw asked if she prescribed a muscle relaxer or anything at all? I should have listened to the other reviews. Save your time, energy and money this place does not care about you or your health. They are just here to make a quick buck.
From the moment I walked in everybody was really nice to the receptionist at the desk to the nurse that brought me back and to the Doctor Who helped me. Very understanding and thorough..
Made appointment online. Got there and nobody to be seen in entire place. Waited 15 minutes and the girl said we’re short staffed, told me to fill out paperwork online that should have already been sent. It asks for a code which they didn’t send. I told her I never received a code, waiting waiting. This place should not be open if you don’t have sufficient staffing. I go up to counter again to give my insurance card and I’d, and both girls tell me to put a mask on. I’m coming in because I’m having trouble breathing, you still have to wear a mask. I put mask on and sit down and wait again. I look up at reception desk and what do I See. Ladies working there, NO MASK ON I take a picture of them. She tells her coworker and then they put there masks on. HYPOCRISY.
Made appointment, only had to wait 5 minutes to be seen. Had Brian for Dr and he was fantastic!!! Was very thorough, listen to my concerns, explain things so well to me. Very professional.
The PA was very thorough and caring. She paid attention to my previous history when discussing my diagnosis. The entire staff was very professional.
Great experience. Bianca and Christi were very patient and compassionate. Concerns were acknowledged and information helpful.
Nurses were more concerned with getting HBO on TV and reading magazines than on serving patients. They seemed annoyed to have to be disturbed to do intake. Asked more than once the reason for the visit loudly in front of other patients. Lacked any regard for confidentiality. The Dr. was rude and also annoyed to treat. She was a fear monger, pushing every possible worse case scenario including terminal disease as the likely cause for symptoms. She was not interested in listening, came to quick conclusions and recommended a whole series of unnecessary tests. She made no effort to call in scripts and was deficient in patient care entirely.Someone from Novant who understands clinical management needs to get in to this place and overhaul the whole operation. Its an embarrassment.
Staff is very friendly and provides a prompt response. They also have X-ray facility here which makes it easier for injuries so you dont have to go to radiologist. Very pleased with the overall service.
Great service..!! I was seen in less than 10 min.
Poor service and care. I visited Waverly Urgent Care (WUC) one recent morning after suffering approximately 2 weeks with chills/fever, non-stop coughing with chest congestion, a bad sore throat, lots of sneezing, and drainage from nose and eyes. I paid my $100 co-pay and waited to be seen. After a brief assessment by the health care provider (HCP), she asked me if I usually suffer from seasonal allergies, and I told her no. She said I think you are suffering from seasonal allergies. I questioned her about the congestion I was coughing up from my chest, my visibly red/irritated throat, and my chills. Somehow the HCP concluded my throat was normal. The HCP would only prescribe something for my cough, and she told me to take Zyrtec. As for my other symptoms, she said I needed to wait longer to see if they worsened before she would prescribe anything else. The next day my sinus drainage turned into a sinus infection. I returned to WUC the following morning (about 48 hours after my first visit). I was told by the nurse that since this was a separate visit, I would have to pay my $100 co-pay again. I said that was ridiculous, that I was back in 2 days with the same symptoms except the sinus drainage had worsened into a sinus infection. I asked why at my first visit I was not prescribed an antibiotic for the chest congestion as that antibiotic would have helped prevent the sinus infection I now have. The nurse said there was nothing in my chart about my having chest congestion at my first visit 48 hours earlier. After more discussion, I was told the office manager said that for me to be seen, I would have to pay another $100. I refused, left, and went to another facility where I received decent care and service. While the misdiagnosis at my first visit is aggravating, those things happen. My biggest complaints are:(1) WUCs lack of adequate policies and procedures that resulted in my symptoms not being properly logged into my chart. While my illness was not life-threatening, the same lack of adequate institutional protocol that allowed my symptoms to not be logged could be a major problem for someone with a more serious health issue.(2) WUCs policy of charging for a follow-up visit that occurs within 48 hours, even though the visit is for the same symptoms that WUC initially failed to diagnose properly. If you go to WUC, maybe you will have a better experience. As for me and my family, we wont go back there as it is not worth the risk.
On 1/29/21, I had an accident and hurt my foot. Thinking there may have a broken bone somewhere, I called the Waverly location urgent care to make sure they had an X-ray machine. Everyone at this facility was super nice!To the young lady that answered my question over the phone, the lady at the front desk, Dr. M. Kasaji, and the X-Ray tech: thank you all for your help that day. I really appreciate your concern and kindness.
I ended up here on 09/24/2017. With poison oak & poison Sumac!! Friendly staff, great Nurse, Lab Technician was so kind, the Dr. Was funny. Had a great experience. Here on vacation, had paperwork done, & in room in 12 minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone... The hardest part.. it is hidden off Providence Rd... Just look going past McDonalds, its on the left side! Another point.. very very clean.
Everyone there is friendly when you arrive. Pre-appointments work very well. Doctors and nurses provide excellent care.
Really good experience! Scheduled online and it was a few hours out but my appt was at 12:56 and I am leaving now having seen doctor and gotten taken care of. Would definitely go back if needed.
The doctor was very professional. Booking appointment was very easy. When I arrived I sent a text saying I’m here. The staff called to see what car I was in and then promptly came out and got my Covid test done.
If I could give 0 stars I would, unfortunately this has been the worst urgent care visit ever. I was directed to go to this UC because they have Ob/gyn and needless to say, Im 15 weeks pregnant recieved a cerclage the day before and was refused to be checked because I am High risk, after that the midwife on call said she would check to see what needed to be done with my situation. Left me sitting in the room until the time of close, for the Rn to walk in and ask am I waiting on discharge papers. No dr ever came back to tell me anything. They only showed me out to the exit door with no further instructions. This was a very unpleasant visit being I was in extreme pain and pressure and unfortunately unprofessional for the whole staff.
On a 1 to 10 scale, it was actually 11. The staff acknowledged me right away and checked back with me. The doctor who came out to administer the Covid test was friendly and answered my question. It was a good experience beginning to end.
Very professional, thorough exam before diagnosis. Nice staff and easy to get an appointment.
Having my grandson test positive was a bit terrifying. The staff at Novant was compassionate, reassuring, and highly competent. They were everything I needed at that moment. I cannot thank them enough.
Is there possibility for a zero star? My family has had enough of this place. We will NEVER go back and will stop anyone from going there. This has to get to tweeter. TERRIBLE attitude of front staff especially . No customer service skills, POOR communication skills , and just unacceptable to turn a patient away because the reason of patient’s visit was related to an accident they had 5 days ago and Novant will not bill both (cigna and BCBS) of client’s insurances because the visit was related to an accident . I still don’t understand how that makes any sense. Client was asked to pay upfront out of pocket or leave!!!Let’s keep patient in prayers. Myself and a few others who have had similar terrible experiences are writing letters to the medical council. This place needs to close down, for all I know.
Everyone at this location is amazing, especially Drs Kasaji and Devlin! They (repeatedly) take the time to talk with us and patiently answer any questions we have. Friendly and even my teens like them, they genuinely care and do their best to be helpful in every way. We highly recommend them and this Waverly location.
Oh goodness! What a RUDE intake person! I see that other people have also complained - her incompetence and lack of CSR training is a REAL problem. Erica Lanausse the little RMA needs some coaching and system training. She was unable to verify insurance, had a huge attitude as others have stated and I look forward to discussing her behavior with her manager. If I could give a 0, as others probably would have, this score would be lower than 3. Keep in mind, there was only 2 patients in the waiting room.
My three year old came down with pink eye. I had to take three little kids to get a script. They refused to take a digital version of my insurance card which was already in the system. I had to pack up all three kids to go home get a physical copy and come back. They made zero effort to be accommodating.
Horrible experience, I was there 20 minutes ago. The nurse practitioner was not friendly at all, talking to me like I was an idiot. I was telling her that my throat is bothering me I can’t talk or swallow, she kept telling me is a URI wich I understand and not antibiotics will work, but her demeanor like he was mad I was not taking her respond bother her. Then she tells me to take I ibuprofen 800 and doesn’t give me a prescription, I guess she wants me to take 4 tabs of 200mg. Did not take the time to talk to me or really do a physical.
The reception was unsympathetic, not knowledgeable and seems to not care that people are ill. They don’t seem to take illness seriously or with compassion. My insurance plan is with novant or I would have used another provider. Use another provider if possible!!!
Got in there quickly and taken care of right away. From the doctors to the nurse they were very kind friendly and helpful.
My son was sent home from football camp after potentially getting a concussion. The Coach and team trainer advised we take him to the Dr or an Urgent Care to be properly diagnosed. Being a Saturday we went to Waverly Urgent Care since we have heard good things about the office. After explaining the situation to the check in staff and nurse they stated they could not see him and he would have to go to his primary care Dr on Monday. They said we dont do that here. Really....an Urgent Care cant diagnose a concussion?? I wasnt asking them to clear him to play just wanted to be sure he actually had a concussion and we take the proper steps to care for my son. Needless to say we went to CMC Matthews for diagnosis and we got right in and were happily seen by the Dr. I guess we should NOT have gone in to Waverly during lunch hour, the staff seemed put off by us being there. Will not be going back!
Poor reception, walked in Sunday morning with my daughter having fever 100. Made us wait like one hr, when I asked to check and explain what is going on with us, I got very rude reply as they have no idea how much time it is going to take to attend us. I ended up going to other facility with my daughter suffering in fever!!
I wanna start by saying I went into urgent care to get my wrist checked and was told to come back the next day because there were no doctors,I came by the next day and after the doctor checked me into a room I had to wait 30 minutes to get x-rays, as I was receiving x-rays the doctor was x-raying my fingers and not my wrist that was effected, i tried asking the doctor, she responded thats a good question and left to go ask the other doctors, I thought the entire deal was unprofessional and left, you guys did a terrible job and I didnt receive any results, you checked the wrong things clearly and then I find you guys billed me for it, where do I escalate this further this is least professional thing ive ever seen but im not surprised to see myself milked for insurance money.
Quick to get in. Everyone is always so nice and helpful.
The assistant was wonderful. My first ever COVID test and she did it so easy.
My provider was professional and personable. Very knowledgable and made sure that I had the tools to take care of myself at home. She was awesome :)
Had to take husband on a Sat. we were in and out within an hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cant say enough for the Dr. And PA. Would definitely recommend.
Provider was friendly, caring and helpful. Nurse was friendly and empathetic which is refreshing for an urgent care. Not a long wait for walk in
The whole team is very good. The appointment without waiting, kind nurses and excellent doctor.
No a walk inn COVID 19 test, or anything..( they are understaffed)You’ll need to book an online and wait 2 days if you are lucky..And if you’re going as walk inn they would send you away to a CVS or Walgreens pharmacy.. or you’ll be calling every urgent care in the area..We ended up going to Ballantyne NH .
My family or I have visited this location twice now. The staff is unfriendly and the providers spent maybe 5 minutes total with us in the room. There is no one manning the desk, you have to sign in on an iPad. It is cold and impersonal. I am a Novant employee, I will pay more out of pocket to go somewhere else.
This place was super fast to get in checked and out. The doctor was soooo nice and so patient and handled everything perfectly! Was super stress free considering that i had a toddler wth an ear infection.
Son had a broken finger. Xrays and all but was still misdiagnosed. It wasnt until three days later, the expert radiologists called to let us know the finger was actually broken instead of sprained. Glad it wasnt a life or death situation! I knew the finger was broken, but the doctor on call did not treat as such! What a mess!😣
The staff front the front door entering to the providers were exceptional. All questions are answered, and I felt I was given great care and information.
Great experience. Loved the front desk, Jazz was very inviting and nice! The doctor was very thorough and answered all of my questions. Highly recommended.
Dr was EXCELLENT and support staff and Nurse giving shot was OUTSTANDING. Very positive and made me feel at home. Thank you!!!
I don’t typically take time to write reviews, but this was hands down the best urgent care I have visited. The staff is always very friendly, fast and efficient.
The Covid-19 testing was done very quickly. Got there ahead of schedule and seen anyway. Test results in
Wonderful! Very knowledgeable. The nurse Kisby(?) was so very kind. She gave me a shot didn’t even know it. Everyone was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
The receptionist and doctor Malloy both were very nice and professional. The office was very clean and so was the exam room.
Friendly and helpful staff. The PA who saw me was an excellent listener, and was very understanding, helpful and insightful.
Poor service if u have more issues and need to seen for a recheck. I had a fever, a sinus and upper respiratory infections and they did not give me an antibiotic. I do not recommend this facility.
Dr Turner and his staff went above and beyond to make my son and I feel comfortable and listened to our concerns. Im overwhelmed by their kindness and care.
I have been to this location several times and after the last i WILL NEVER BE RETURNING. Everytime i have gone the staff has been very short and slighlty rude. After this last visit i paid my copay went back after and hour (with only one person in the waiting room) and then told me they couldnt help me and was asked to leave and they didnt refund my copay....DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be treated badly..
Very professional and caring nurses and doctor.Thank you for taking care of me and my family when we needed an Urgent Care.
Amazing service. Checked in online, no wait, and COVID-19 results were received in 15 minutes. The doctor was kind and informative. Would recommend!
These people are the laziest and heartless fellows. We had our 5 year old running fever of 104 and we got there at 4.45pm but they did not take it and we even explained them our insurance only covered by Novant health. Worst attitude ever. If you have any other option with your insurance then go some other place.
We waited an hour for them to tell us they didnt have an xray technician. Total waste of time and terrible service. We were made to feel totally unimportant.
Our experience was top notch and very professional. They young lady at the front desk was very accommodating. Kudos to her
Had a great experience in taking my son when he was sick. Got in and out quickly. The provider was friendly, as were the staff
I had a horrible experience going there today I’m not sure the doctors name but she was very rude barely cared to help my agonizing stomach pain she seemed like she was on some dangerous speed drug, only thing she did was check where my pain was & ask questions most of which were inappropriate I hope she can get fired! P.s. My name is Alex Nolan
Quick clean and the staff was wonderful!
The staff was super helpful and kind to my mother, who is in her 80s. They resolved all the issues and it didn’t take too long.
It was fast and the Dr was helpful .
Everyone from check in, to the nurse and even the doctor were very friendly and provided remarkable service! I would recommend to all friends and family.
I thought everyone was very professional and the Dr was very thorough. I am new to the neighborhood and this is my go to place for Urgent Carr.
How professional the staff was and the amazing bed side manner of the doctor. Really nice person.
Check in person was great. Nurse was great. Physician was great. Very efficient. Thanks.
Short wait time, friendly staff. I was in and out in an hour and called a few days later with lab results.
I was greeted in a friendly manner. I was seen quickly & the PA addressed my needs as well as listened to my concerns.
Normally, you dont want to get to Urgent care. But if you have to - this Urgent Care is great
The service on a Holiday (Thanksgiving) was extremely professional and friendly. Glad they were working, much appreciated.
I have been here many times for myself, my mom, kids. Doctors are very good, they resolved the problems every time so far. I would recommend.
I am very pleased with the facility and staff. The results of my test were available very quickly. Now that I know where it is, I will make use of the facility in the future.
It was easy to reserve a time slot, and the staff was very kind and supportive.
The PAs were always thorough and caring! Always an excellent staff that are professional.
We got there 40 minutes to closing with my wife a two kids right after an accident to get us checked out and told us there were going to be closing in 40 minutes so we had to go somewhere else because it was going to take more than 40 minutes to check us out.... so we had to leave in pain to go a get help somewhere else..
Everyone was fair and efficient with care. Attentive and informative about using Virtual Visit feature.
The cleanliness, efficiency and Dr Kasaji and staff were great!
Attention, care, service - top notch!
Ashley was very helpful and talented provider. She treated me pretty good.
Great staff, ease of scheduling, quick time to get in and get started on meds
The reception personal was very helpful and made me feel relaxed and comfortable right away!
Super nice and friendly.
We wait with my daughter 2 hours, she had fever , everyone passed us ahead, to the question when they will accept us, they said wait, the terrible system
Great staff and care
Made an appointment for 6:20. Checked in and still waited 2 hours. TWO HOURS WITH AN APPOINTMENT!! Absolutely ridiculous
I went in this evening and was treated very well with thorough and kind treatment from everyone I encountered. Thank you for your help!
The attention that my son got from the providers was great. Thank you.
Excellent service. Efficient, kind, patient and timely. Very professional staff.
Very fast and friendly experience getting a PCR test here for travel.
Easy Covid-19 processing. Well planned. I got results in less than 48 hours.
Spent $50 for the doctor to give me a sample pack of mucinex and “come back if my symptoms worsen”
The staff is amazing very helpful good hospitality thank you so much guys God bless you all
Everyone there was super friendly, the facility was clean and fresh
Very fast service.kind staff and great doctor.
