I recently visited Access Sinai on JUNE 28th Physician Manasvi K and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience. Manasvi is extremly unprofessinal. The care provided by her was lacking in respect and compassion towards both myself and my infant. I felt neglected and disrespected during my visit. She was extremly rude.In light of this, I would recommend considering alternative healthcare options such as the Access Pilsen Health Center for those seeking optimal care for themselves and their infants in a more respectful and compassionate environment. It is important for healthcare providers to prioritize patient well-being and treat individuals with the dignity they deserve. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration for improving the quality of care provided to patients.
I highly advise against seeing Barbara Doran as your provider. This woman should be removed, as she failed to listen to my concerns as a patient. Establishing a genuine patient-provider relationship is near impossible with her because shes condescending and rude at times. I believe her working in this geographic area with this population on Chicago’s Westside is nothing more than an opportunity to get her student loans paid off. What midwife working with women under the supervision of an OBGYN not test the urine samples of a patient due to their preferred method of contraception? Barbara Doran, thats who. Unknowingly, I later discovered I was providing urine in a cup like normal but it was being thrown out. Even I know there is room for error with birth control therefore urine should be tested to at least rule out pregnancy. Desperately, I had to go elsewhere to recieve assistance from Dr. Erleine Bautista and Lindsey Sayner NP at Access Cabrini to discover what was going on with me. They were heaven sent. I got a surprise diagnosis (20 wks pregnant) after multiple attempts with Barbara first then tragedy struck shortly after. I cant help but wonder, what if Barbara Doran simply did not dismiss my worries when I kept showing up with different abnormal complaints and symptoms like long term bleeding months prior. My thoughts, along with her swab results, lead me to believe it was just a period. I felt horrible and I did not know why. This woman had the nerve to tell me I was looking for a get fixed quick pill. She lacked empathy and compassion. In that moment, I knew our relationship was over. She could no longer hear me for reasons only she knows but I am aware of a few studies. While she did apologize with excuses via MyChart messages, I urge her patients to get a second opinion or avoid her altogether. She does not have your best medical interests in mind or she just didnt have mine. Take it from me, assertively advocate for yourself when it comes to your medical needs. There are people like Barbara Doran who would be made comfortable if you didnt. (RIP Baby Boy 24wks) He was beautiful.Edit: No one has contacted me and the bleeding I was experiencing turned out to be a very large subchorionic hematoma. This was quickly discovered at Northshore Hospital around 3am (water broke), hours after I was released from Mt. Sinai for being dilated. Just go elsewhere. Skip Access Sinai AND Mt. Sinai hospital. Mt. Sinai Labor and Delivery doctors did not know it was a hematoma. I sat and watched as they stood around the computer looking confused at my ultrasound photos. More doctors even came to view the pictures of the strange mass. The head nurse came into my room that afternoon and called it a tumor. My discharge notes says possible fibroid, non specific soft tissue structure separate from placenta. Horrible and traumatic experience!
Extremely unprofessional!!! My mother had an appointment to see Cardiologist Dr.Benatar on 3/15 at 8:30am. We received the text confirmation and also my mchart had the appointment. Upon our arrival they informed us that he was on leave since January and they had called us yesterday to inform us. Which is a lie , we checked our missed calls and voicemail. You would think they would update my chart to cancel appointment. This is completely unprofessional that they would not have a replacement being that these patients have heart problems. We never received notice from anyone informing us that he was on leave.
It has good doctors. They saved my sons life more than once due to his complications with asthma. Totally recommended. I have also been hospitalized here and had my 2 children here.
I am Loyal to them no matter our ups and downs because no matter what, they delivered on all my health needs and much more. Its very familial because the staff members have been there forever. Dr. Lampley is a Gem in that clinic. Thank you for the safe delivery of my children. My heart is still strong thanks to you.💯Thank you Access at Mount Sinai.Sincerely,Ebony Chapman Bey
I recommended my friend who has not seen a doctor in over 12 years! For someone who has not been to the doctors in so long, his experience of going in and being treated like a friend/family was gratifying to know, he was in good hands! Joanna was so pleasant and helpful with getting him through to triage, roomed and signed up for his labs. The physician was insightful, was attentive to hear my friends concerns and the recommendations provided for his care. He had such a great experience with the knowledge, hospitality, promptness, the acknowledgment and conversations he had with the staff! Thank you!
I was referred to Access by my OB to see a high risk doctor due too complications I’m having with my pregnancy. My first visit with the doctor I was told by registration he takes his time with each patient so it might be a little wait. More like a 3 1/2 wait and was only in the room with the doctor 10 minutes. Second appointment was a phone appointment which he called 4 hours after my appointment time. 3rd phone appointment he didn’t call at all. Very unprofessional and Not Acceptable. If you’re that booked then you should refer the patient to someone else. I will not be returning to this clinic. Mount Sinai ultrasound department is very slow and unprofessional as well
I love this place I was referred to Dr. Lampley they did tell me he was the best high risk doctor and he takes his time with his patients after having so many miscarriages I didn’t care if I waited for 5 hours I wasn’t going anywhere I wanted my baby to make it so I waited 3 hours he has excellent bedside manners I will say the best because of Dr Lampley I had my son I still can’t believe it til this day and so I couldn’t leave my son to be the only child so we also had my second miracle baby I went through a lot but thanks to his care I was able to have them !!!!! Also front desk forget about it they are always welcoming smiles and any problems with insurance they help you out thank you so much!
Gave me another medicine when I told them what medicine work best for me and now my skin is burn
Ive had a really good experience with Dr.Manalo and his medical Assistant Candy. I love coming to my appointments because i feel like everytime i come my problems are solved. They make me have a very good day because of their good personality and humor. Love Access at Sinai
I had visited for my appointments for my son at this location in 2016. I didnt find out until late about my pregnancy and had many issues with insurance and changes made at my job with it. But there is an ANGEL here by the name of Barbara Doran! She is a Midwife here who was honestly the best! She explained so much to me and having her there for my emergency c section helped so much! I just wanted to let you know, Ms Doran if you happen to see this, that I have had a second child and wish I had you with me for her as well but unfortunately I had moved to Georgia. I have you in my prayers and am so blessed to have had you as my midwife you helped me so much and gave me so much knowledge that has helped me tremendously! We now have my baby boy you helped deliver involved in watching rugby games as well 😂.
I love going to this clinic. The staff is always professional starting with the young ladies registering you. To the doctors assistant (Candy), the doctor. The techs who draw your blood. Everyone is great. Thanks.
Dr. Campbell has always been able to see my girls without an appointment and the day that I needed him to see both of my girls since they are both breaking out with their eczema and the rude ass receptionist didnt even bother to ask the doctor personally if he could see the girls....which in a matter of 5 minutes he could have given me a doctors note to let the school know that what they have is not contagious. But I have moved my servoce elsewhere where they were able to get seen the same day...
This place is horrible! I had a appointment at 9 and still waiting in the waiting room while they call everyone that came in after me. This place is very unprofessional. The ladies at the front desk are rude. This is my second time coming here and the second time this happened. What is the point of having a scheduled appointment if they dont see you at your scheduled time.
My experience has always been great the staff really cares I think Dr.Manalo is great & cares & his personal assistant Candy is awesome who cares about how the you feel or is feeling they’re great
Horrible very rude the reception people were nice and kind but once you go to the back with the nurses very rude unprofessional doctors as well took their time laughing on their phones most of the time I was there I would give them only have a star!!!!
Love this clinic. It may be far for me but I will always go there theyre fast and my kids like their doctor
I had a appointment at 2:30 pm and still waiting in the waiting room (2 hours in the waiting room)
Prompt appointments good doctors office help slow with communication
Always professional, prompt, respectful, very caring, concise services.
My NP did an extra holiday shift here
Not bad
The room smelled terrible, like someone pooped on the seats.
Poor atencion and the staff do not do their work right 🤨🤨🤨🤨
