Dr Schimdt was God sent in our lives. My little boy is now almost 2.5 years old. And I really wanted to write this review for so long but toddler life is so busy and we are truly enjoying parenthood to the fullest. Its all because of Dr Schmidt and his efficient team of nurses. After years of struggling and failed attempts at the other renowned infertility center in town, I was heartbroken and had almost given up. Then a friend recommended Dr Schimdt.Honestly when I first scheduled the appointment, I thought it’s going to be just another consultation. But after our first visit both my husband and I felt like he was the warmest person we had met, in the longest time. His words were THAT comforting. From there on everything just fell into place - the ultrasounds, shots, egg retrieval, embryo placing and the first heart beats. The miracle was well on his way.Of course Dr Schimdt is the VERY BEST and the most knowledgeable and skillful in his field, at the same time is equally compassionate and has the kindest soul. I feel even talking to him one can feel the positive energy around. His team of other doctors and nurses are equally good & efficient and tackled all situations well.Forever grateful to Dr Schimdt and ORM
We can’t think Dr. Schmidt and his staff enough! After 3.5 years of trying conceive, we decided to get a second opinion. We are SO THANKFUL we did. Within the first month of seeing him, Dr. Schmidt was able to help us conceive. We now have a happy and healthy 2.5 year old because of him! He will always be an angel to me and my husband! He blessed us with the greatest gift!
Absolute worst experience. Poor nursing care. Dr Schmidt might be okay but his nurse is not a person you want assisting with family planning. Complete lack of knowledge of my case and all together from our experiences. The interaction is primarily with the nurse, it has broken our experience and will likely cause us another loss.
There really isnt enough time for me to express how I feel about Ohio Reproductive Medicines doctors and staffs. My husband and I struggled with getting pregnant for years. My OBGYN referred me to ORM because he believed I had PCOS. After ORM ran further testing it was determined that I didnt have PCOS. I appreciated them doing ALL the test because I would of probably ended up on medication I didnt need. After the test for PCOS came back negative, I began treatment with Clomid. After 3 unsuccessful cycles using Clomid the doctor insisted I have further testing (an HSG) to determine if I had any obstructiions blocking my fellopian tubes. Those test too came back ok. The next cycle I started on injectables (Follistem) and I found myself finally pregant after the first cycle!! Doctor Schmidt was very understanding about the frustrations I was feeling leading up to getting pregant. His nurses were amazing and always so polite no matter how many times I called. On top of the nurses the administrative staff was great in helping me deal with my insurance company which was out of network. They helped me get everything approved in the end and I paid very little out of pocket. We have started with ORM again in the hopes of adding to our family and once again the staff has been wonderful to work with. I have also known many other couples go to ORM that have had success and I will continue to refer others in the hopes of achieving their dream of becoming parents. **edit: When returning for an attempt of a second pregnancy I was able to go back to Follistem without having to do Clomid again. To our surprise at 7 weeks we saw two little heartbeats on the ultrasound. Fast forward to 34 weeks, we welcomed our son and daughter. They are now happy, healthy amazing little humans and I credit ORM and Dr Schmidt for helping us achieve our family.
We can not thank Dr Schmidt, and his team enough for giving us a beautiful daughter. She is now 26, certified infertility BSRN, in Denver Colorado. Her patio stems from my stories and respect for Ohio Reproductive Medicine
