2 baby’s followed throughout pregnancy by doctor quimper has been the most rewarding experience I’ve been with other OBs but no one has been more into the health of my babies and my well being like she has makes things easy to understand and goes to the extra mile if needed definitely recommended
Dr. Quimper is quite simply the kindest and most gentle obstetrician-gynecologist that I have ever encountered. I became a new patient of Dr. Quimpers when I learned that my prior OBGYN was no longer taking my insurance. It took a while to get in to see her (typical for any great OBGYN) but it was well worth the wait. She was thorough and gentle in her exam and took the time to listen to (and address) all of my questions and concerns, not only for my gynecologic health but for my health overall. I cannot recommend her enough. Given her gentle and kind nature, I think shed be a particularly great choice for anyone who has anxiety about going to the OBGYN. I am so glad to have found her.
I am sure Dr. Quimper is lovely, but I have a serious complaint with their scheduling. I have had some major hormonal problems which have been frustrating my quality of life for some time, so I was given a list of recommended doctors by my primary doctor. After narrowing down which providers my insurance accepts, and reading reviews, I called to schedule with Dr. Quimper in early October. The earliest appointment they had was 4/27/2021... about 7 months later. Seems like a long wait, but I scheduled the appointment because I really wanted to get established with a good doctor. Then, I receive a call today 2/10/2021 stating that the appointment was cancelled and they could not reschedule me until AUGUST. This would be about 10 months after my original call. I have been dealing with major issues for nearly a year, and after explaining this to scheduling they said maybe if my primary care doc sends a referral I can get appropriately scheduled. Apparently I just cannot be trusted to tell them I have serious symptoms, I need a primary doctor to do so. So, I am back to square one, about 4 months after my first call, with no appointments and the same struggle. Guess I can go waste some more time with my primary doctor now and get that referral they never bothered to tell me I needed. Not sure who is most to blame for being so frustrating to work with: OSU, the US Healthcare system, my primary doc, or Dr Quimpers office. Just keep in mind if you are not an established patient or have a specific referral, you are not a priority.
Dr. Quimper is knowledgeable, up on best practices, receptive to concerns, punctual, and a partner your health care!
