We used a donor from CryoBio and had 4 failed IUIs and 3 failed embryo transfers after using the same donor for IVF. After I switched clinics, my new doctor found that the donor sperm we used for everything had non-progressive motility and is quite possibly the cause for all the failures as I am healthy with no fertility issues. We spent over $40,000 on those treatments to have been using non-progressive sperm the entire time. When I reached out to Cryo about this issue, the only response I got was that we could sell back our remaining vial for 50% of what we bought it for. The issue of the non-progressive motility was not addressed in their response. I wanted to trust that the donor we were using was of good quality, and after this we will be using a different donor bank entirely for future cycles.
We purchased sperm from them but they do not respond to questions and the customer service is poor. I would not recommend a company that doesnt seem to care about concerns when it comes to a child or life. It sounds like ethics are in question here and this place needs to be shut down.
Very disappointed that you have to buy child photos. California cryobank has 1 free childhood photo from their donors. Its all about making as much money possible. Website is very user friendly though.
Cryobiology does not keep accurate records of children born to donors, nor do they have a limit to how many inseminations can take place using the sperm of a single donor. I am disappointed with the lack of regulation and lack of regard for children conceived through donor insemination.
Keeping critical biological info from my friend. Seem to be unethically using donors for many children and then not being honest about it with the families.
Very professional, helpful, highly recommended in the medical community .. fortunate to have used them... all smiles.. happy family.. lucky me!!
What is the compensation for donating?
I love coming here
