My husband had a catheter put in from Dr. Nesbit when he had hernia surgery and was told to come back in a month after his hernia surgery after his bladder calmed down. He came back in a month and Dr. Nesbit said he needed to go to the Mayo Clinic to have the catheter removed because they were treating him for bladder cancer. The catheter was put by Dr. Nesbit after hernia surgery, he should be the one to remove it. It had nothing to do with his bladder cancer. After more than a month they finally removed it. He has been in a lot of pain ever since. I tried to make an appointment so he could see Dr. Nesbit. First he was on vacation which is fine but when he got back I tried to make an appointment and got the runaround from the triage nurse and they needed to talk to doctor before they would see him. My husband has a home care nurse and she tried to help.Still don’t have an appointment. It has been 4 days since I called to get him an appointment. Does it always take that long to get an appointment?
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this urologist and faculty. The doctor did not come and see me before my surgery or after my surgery. Then I was given pain medication that made me sick and to try and get something else was like trying to pull teeth. Then they say “providing service near you “ is a joke. For every service except one I have had to travel an hour each way! Then when trying to schedule a time to get my stent taken out was beyond complicated. Each time I called I got the voice mail and then hours later a call back. We played phone tag for over a day and they made an appointment without my knowledge! That turned into a nightmare! Then I made an appointment that would work for me,only to find out when I got the automated reminder the time was different then what I agreed upon. Now with me having to travel 130 miles total for this appointment, take time off work, find a ride you can imagine I was not happy about this. So I called and was treated so RUDELY by the nurse Stacy that it drove me to write this review. I work in the healthcare field and this is definitely not right. If I was Dr. Nick Johnson, I would not want to be represented by this person. After my stent is removed I will be seeking care elsewhere. Terrible experience! I would not recommend this doctor or staff to anyone. I still can’t believe I was hung up on when I did everything to make an appointment work an hour away each way! Not accommodating! No compassion! No empathy! Just disrespect! The only amazing experience were nurses from the day surgery unit!
My daughter is in college and trying to get into the urologist, she has sent her information twice and has gotten the run around from the receptionist. Very frustrating, hope the Drs know how unhelpful front desk staff has been. If she can not get into soon will go elsewhere.
Good doctor but impossible to get ahold of anyone there. Its very frustrating that no one works regardless of time of day. Makes scheduling impossible.
Best bunch around! They will not disappoint!
