The staff at this location are incredibly rude. Its as if they are uninterested in providing any sort of customer service or support. Witnessed staff verbally abuse an elderly woman who clearly had dementia (she came out into the waiting area looking confused and told the gentleman she was with that blood was not drawn even though it was). They tried telling us that my son was not in their system, even though we explained that we were in there just a few weeks ago. They were clearly bothered that they had to make minimal effort to find him in their system. We will be asking our doctor to send us anywhere other than this place next time.
Process is awful. Specially their IT and tablet/log in kiosk. It should ask if Im new Yes or No. If yes, tell me Ill be getting a checkmark or confirmation after my entry has been completed. I got nothing of the sort. Had to reconfirm with receptionists if I was captured in the system. They said no, so I had to re register. Aside from there there is no kiosk that ensures I can check my name not at this location. I came in with Memos garage last weekend for my own blood work with the same experience. I believe in second opportunities so I brought my 84 year old dad today... No improvements. Horrible company system/process.
I just spent 24 hours collecting a specimen for them (using the kit that they gave me earlier this week) and then waited in their waiting room for 45 minutes to drop said specimen off, only to find out they gave me the wrong kit and now I have to start over again. Then I got home and read all the information and there’s a form that they didn’t give me. I’m unable to reach them on the phone to find out if I need to fill out the form first so now I get to go back and ask whether the form has to be filled out first because you can’t get through on their voicemail to a real person. Needless to say I’m not happy.!! At all.
As a first time customer I was advised to log in the tablet to check in. 1hr and 45 minutes went by and was not called in. Asked to speak to the supervisor and was told it was the it IT team fault. So if I wouldnt gone up to say something til 11 am or 12 pm I would have been missed?? Its a failed process and they need to NOT rely on the first time customer nor their IT team. IT team has no clue Im there today to get blood work or not. Pointing fingers is not a solution but take ownership instead even if they have to assist manually. Horrible service and process.
I waited all week to do fasting labs on a Sat morning b/c I can’t come during the week. THEY ARE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS. There’s no sign stating when they’ll reopen Per Google maps, the closest open location is in Phoenix. 😡 There are also several people here who are also trying to get labs done as well. This is very poor management, informing customers that you’re closed and when / if you’ll reopen.
Quick in-and-out experience. Super friendly and quick service. Im not a fan of needles but the lady that drew my blood was so sweet and I genuinely had a pain-free, hassle-free experience!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Had lab work done in March. My insurance asked them to send documentation for authorization in April. SQ never sent it, so my claim was denied. SQ waited until after the 180 day appeal deadline to send me my first bill...in SEPTEMBER. I now have to pay over $1,000 out of pocket. Thanks, Sonora Quest. I will never use your services again & will advise everyone I know to avoid you like the plague.
Walked in just after 6:00 am on a Tuesday. There were about 12-15 people already waiting and I almost left. I’m glad I didn’t! They worked through the group quickly and I was called back around 6:45. All done by 6:50. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The actual blood draw was quick and efficient. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised!TIP: The phlebotomist told me that they don’t set appointments before 7 am, so from 6-7 is all walk-ins and they can usually get through them pretty quickly.
Personal was nice we showed up with no appointments ( we my husband and I) we knew it that we have to wait. After our Covid samples where take they told us that we have to wait 3 days for results 🧐 pointless. Day 3 still waiting for results we are a old couple 70 years old my husband has a lot of health issues, you don’t need to be a genius to know that is a COVID test and you need results fast. Horrible system they have they should let people know how long results are ready and we decide to take it or not. We are getting worse and still waiting.
I came in today as a walk-in and there were only about 4-5 people in the waiting room, so I didnt expect to stay long. But I was wrong! Several people came in after me. Then after almost an hour of waiting, I realized that about 4-5 people that came in AFTER me (about 30-40 minutes after!) were taken before me! Some of those people only had to wait a few minutes. And no, they are not all appointments because the lab doesnt offer so many appointment slots (I know because I schedule appointments often). I walked to the counter and asked why it was taking so long and that several people that came in after me were taken before me, and the lady said she just finished entering my labs... it takes almost an HOUR to enter labs into the system and print the papers and stickers??!! Then a few seconds later, I was called to have my labs drawn. This is TERRIBLE service! I get my blood drawn often, so I know how it goes. And, this is NOT related to being short staffed. If you are short staffed, then everyone in the room would be waiting long. But this is just terrible treatment of patients and some level of ignorance/incompetence on the workers part.I have to add that Ive been coming to this location for a few years and the service is getting progressively worse. It wasnt like this before. Also, they used to have the list of patients on the TV screen (first name only) in the order that you come and when you are checked in and ready, and I think it also used to say if it was an appointment. But recently, that info is not on the screen anymore. Coincidence? or intentional to cover up poor service?VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
Upon arrival with my lab order in hand, I was curtly directed to sign in on a kiosk, sit and wait to be called to the front desk; scolded and told to wait without even a cursory glance at the lab order.I arrived at 10:49, used the kiosk, and waited to hear my name and get permission to approach the front desk. KRISTIE is the ONLY REASON this place earned a second star, as at 11:21 she checked me in, and told me the check-in kiosk did not work.Three tubes of blood, the lab tech was good! From 10:49 until 12:05 for a blood draw ! ? !
A+ service. My daughter needed blood drawn for some tests, and she has a huge fear of needles since when she was 3 she had to go to the hospital for a terrible stomach flu and they couldnt place an IV because she was so dehydrated. She was so worried that the blood draw would hurt as much as trying to find a vein for her IV. The guy who drew her blood was so awesome. He talked with her about Taylor Swift and her favorite songs and the concert which totally distracted her. Then afterwards, he took the time to show her what the blood looks like in the vile, and then how he spins it, what it looks like separated and what happens next with her blood. He totally turned that experience around for her and now she is saying getting blood drawn is no big deal. Thank you to all the staff for being so efficient and kind.
I was a walk-in patient and they were able to serve me within 15 min. I’ve been told I have difficult veins to draw from and the phlebotomists took the time to find a good site. Very friendly staff all around!
I scheduled an appointment about 2.5 MONTHS in ADVANCE. My appointment was today (6/30/23) at 7:30 AM. I arrived a little EARLY around 7:25 AM and checked in right away and was called up to the desk right away. The lab was not busy. I saw that 3-4 people were taken AHEAD of me - I doubt they had appointments because I’ve scheduled before and there aren’t that many slots available for appointments at 7 AM. I was not taken back for my lab draw until 8 AM, 30 MINUTES after my appointment!! To make matters worse, the lady that drew my blood (dark long hair in a pony tail) appeared to be the lead or supervisor, and during those 30 minutes between 7:30-8:00, she was coaching the other employees and giving them many instructions, one employee didn’t understand something so she proceeded to explain further. All the while I’m SITTING THERE WAITING for 30 minutes AFTER my appointment!! And she didn’t even apologize. This is horrible treatment for someone who scheduled an appointment!! I’ve walked in before without an appointment and was taken faster. The lab needs to pay better attention to those who scheduled an appointment!
They do walk-ins only from 6-7. I showed up at 5:40 and was the 6th person in line. I was out of the building at 6:15. Very quick process. Nice front staff and Michael the phlebotomist was great!
We waited here for 2 hours and saw everyone came after us going inside while we were waiting. They told us it’s walk but then had to wait. Wouldn’t it be better to book an appointment instead? The nurse was polite and experienced and careful though.
Absolutely terrible wait time for an office that never had more than 10 people there…. Over an hour to get bloodwork! I could have deove to phoenix to a concentra and got it done and went back home to maricopa… all because of the test ids or whatever… the lady entering them in had 2 wrist splints with the thumb deals on it….. she cant even write fast make her so something else!? My god that was terrible all for 5 min of bloodwork
Arrived early around 6 am and the staff were very efficient and friendly. Very clean and organized. When you arrive, you first check into their computer kiosk and state if you have an appointment or not. All their online appointments were booked a week in advance so we decided to walk in. Got everything done by 7:30 am. The lady that took 8 vials of blood was very good and pleasant. Everyone was kind in this office. I hope everyone have a wonderful experience all throughout the day. Once I left the place, the whole room was packed with lots of people.
The place is packed. The office said they would text us when ready. When we came back they still had us wait over an hour. Total wait time over an hour and a half so far and we are not even in the door. Not sure how long this will take. I will be telling the pediatrician at Phoenix Pediatrics about our not-so-good experience. I would avoid blood work done here if I had a choice. The office staff seemed overwhelmed.
I have read some these reviews and this was not experience today!! At All!!!I thought I had a 1:15 pm but arrived at 12 noon. To find out that my appointment didnt go through.I was greated by a very nice young lady behind the counter named Shianna Holister who looked me up: and said: well your appt didnt post but we can get you in as a walk in.I had a lot of trouble trying to log in so Shianna came out and helped me log in 2 seconds flat. What a sweetheart!!!I didnt have to wait long at all and Julia, a Phlebotomist came out and got me and drew my blood and sent me on my way. I hardly felt the stick at all. Another nice very lady. This is the second time I was cared for here. I am a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. This place has very great competent and kind people. It can get very busy here!!!No place is perfect....Both Shianna and Julia were very repectful to me.Thanks LadiesYou are awsome.Sorry my computer skills are so poor. But thanks for your patience and understanding.Sincerely,John Grey RN
I had William as a phlebotomist today and he was AMAZING!! Not only was he pleasant and nice and made me feel at ease, but I didnt even feel the needle going in! Incredible phlebotomist, I wish I could get him every time!
Waited over 2 hours due to faulty check-in machines and staffs inability to compensate for them. Finally called up just to sign a paper and sit back down for another half hour.Phlebotomist was awesome. The staff is friendly, but the system for processing people is terrible.
Employees were both rude to the patients and had no sense of urgency whatsoever. They were chitchatting often when they should have been helping patients get in and get out. They may be getting paid to sit there and do nothing, but the patients are not, and have likely taken time off of work or school to be seen. I hope my doctor doesn’t send me back there again.
I accompanied my friend here yesterday and was appalled by the receptionist. I would recommend go someplace else! She was extremely rude to multiple patients. She locks the door at 2:50 on 2/27/24 and 2:45 on 2/28/23. When I told her there was someone at the door knocking, her comment was cant they read it says we close at 3!Well, it wasnt 3 pm and she locked up early both days. For many patients its difficult to go to the lab and she certainly did not care or know customer service!
The text when time to report to the desk was nice. I ran down the road and ate breakfast while waiting to be called the first time (take insurance and collect lab forms). Wait until second call wasnt too long either and helped that at that point my name was visible on the screen in the lobby.Farzana was amazing. She checked both arms to find the best vein for the blood draw then when she did insert the needle it was painless; both were unexpected but noteworthy. Top notch service.
The check in system seems to cause more problems than necessary for everyone. It shouldnt have take 2 check-ins, unhelpful staff, not willing to do anything outside of their order and 35 mins to drop off a sample.
This company is a joke.1. Tried booking appointment online, they couldnt2. Called to make a reservation, took 1 hour of holding to reach someone3. Drove to one of two locations for my test, they said I could have gone to ANY location (this information wasnt posted/printed anywhere)4. Arrive to drop off a sample, they said I couldnt, as I didnt have my paperwork and they couldnt look up any of my information (this is 2023, how do you not have my work orders on file/digitally)5. Went home and came back, they closed 10 minutes prior to me showing back up.One star, HAZero stars is what you deserve.Sincerely hope another lab company comes in and takes over this joke of an organization. I also hope Managers and Directors would loose their jobs. Do better.
I went in to have my lab work done as a walk-in. I was immediately met and greeted at the door. She offered to check me in, and was very kind. I was then called up to desk to give my lab paperwork and ID, as well as my insurance. Very shortly I was called to the back, having a wonderful experience as the lady drawing my blood was so friendly as well as a very experienced phlebotomist. I was in and out in 40 minutes!! Kudos to this office for taking such good care of their patients❤️
This review is about their billing department. It is awful! Ive paid a bill, I have the info from my bank showing they deposited and accepted the check, and I sent them all the info they requested and yet they are threatening to send to collections. Its been since Aug that they have been trying to find where they applied the check! Its crazy that they are this unorganized and still threatening to send to collections. I have called, emailed and now my last resort is to post a bad review. Im doubtful this review will get any other resolution.Do better!
We had to take our 4mo old in for bloodwork. We arrived and checked in just fine. Receptionist called me up and I told her address and billing info on my paperwork was wrong. She didnt acknowledge that I spoke to her at all. An awkward and lackluster encounter. Terrible customer service. The two people that took my sons blood however were friendly and made me feel more at ease with the process. They are the only reason this place got three stars.
The staff are friendly and courteous. The place is clean. Please do wear a mask its still a mandate here and social distancing too. As soon as you go here first check in at the kiosk. Appointment is recommended but walk ins are ok too. You just have to wait little longer than usual but it doesnt take long.
I just went and signed in for my babys standard 5-10 day labs and waited an hour, only to be told the test needed three hours to be processed and therefore could not be done that day. These are standard tests that thousands of babies get, so I cant be the only one that has experienced this. Could this not have been stated when I called the lab to try to get an appointment, in signage at the door, or as a prompt on the check in screen when my babys age was entered? The last thing I needed as a new mom was to find childcare and haul myself and new baby to sit in a crowded waiting room for an hour for no reason. Unfortunately this is where the labs have to be done, so well be back on Monday.
Came in as a walk-in on a Saturday. Very friendly staff, got me in and out fast.
Be ready to wait … arrived before my appointment time is been 45min from my appointment time and still waitingUpdate it took 75min of waiting, don’t get me wrong Kim was great and quick but waiting 75min for a 3min blood draw makes no sense
The people are nice but the place stinks, it smells like toilet. Why do all these places smell like pee? Also I cant understand why it takes so long to for a blood test, in an hour I went from number 5 to number 3. Theres a chance I may get home for new years at this rate.
The wait was too long. For some reason the reception staff was not checking in people. More than a few people waited for longer than a half hour to be told they were in the wrong place. If your paperwork says Labcorp dont go here. For my simple blood draw, it took an hour and a half.
Absolute worst. They run at least an hour behind even if you have an appointment. Honestly every location is like this though and we don’t have a lot of other options for labs so what are we to do. So frustrating it’s 2023 and we haven’t figured out a way to do lab draws on time?
I arrived and walked up to the desk with a smile and said “hi, I am here to check in for my appointment.”The first receptionist said “you can check in on the kiosk.” No ‘hi’ or ‘good morning’... just a point telling me to check in on a machine. After waiting a normal amount of time the second receptionist says “David, approach the desk.” I’ve never had anyone communicate that way to me. Then when I walked up, no ‘hi’ or ‘good morning’ - “insurance and lab order?”10 seconds later the woman’s says: “fasting.” I said excuse me? And she replied, “are you fasting?” Never looked at me.I am a person and 2020 has been hard... A smile and greeting can really go a long way and I didn’t get either... I don’t think it’s too much to ask.Really disappointed that these two ladies weren’t friendly.TSA is more friendly than the receptionists I interacted with.
Kimberly the blood tech was super kind and got me in 1 poke.. which phlebotomists usually have a hard time doing. So that was awesome. Thanks Kimberly!
This location of Sonora Quest is very well organized and very busy but everyone was socially distanced and masked. I came in as a walk in so had over an hour wait as expected. The person who drew my blood did a great job. I frequently have two attempts to get a vein, but this person got it the first time.
Called to make an appointment by reading specifically was on my lab order “arterial blood gasses....etc.”, and explained my difficulty in finding a clinic that performed this procedure. I had called five other locations prior to this.I was assured they could do this and an appointment was set. Location in Google maps was wrong, so thankfully I planned to arrive early. When arriving for my appointment, I was informed they don’t perform this procedure. My concern is that they have personnel scheduling appointments without understanding which procedures they actually perform, even when it was read verbatim, and there was no regard for correcting that issue.I can’t speak to their actual services and level of care which may be great; I just know I had a bad experience and caution against trusting the scheduling dept.
I went in with my apt and was seen within minutes, the staff was kind and polite, couldn’t have had better impression .Elena J. P
Quick and friendly. I was a walk-in (for a thyroid panel) around 1:45 PM on a Tuesday afternoon and there were maybe 3 people in the waiting room. I was in and out within less than 30 minutes!
Appt at 1030 didn’t get called until 1113. Unacceptable. Checked in kiosk at 1020. At 1045 they told people not to use kiosk -not working. Went to desk told them I checked in at kiosk at 1020 and was told it’s fine go sit down. But when they checked my name I wasn’t checked in. Signed in on clipboard. At 1100 they were calling people without appts. Went to desk discovered there was a whole page of names they were using before they even got to the page I signed in on. What about appts from 1030? Was told I’m next but they still called people without appts. Finally was called almost 45 min after my appointment time. If they knew kiosk was down why didn’t they call people from the appt list first instead of using general sign in sheet? Don’t use kiosk just go to desk and have them sign you in. Don’t even rely on sign in clipboard. Very disorganized.
Ive never had a bad experience with the lab techs here and I go every other month or so. This morning the girl was particularly nice - Ive had her before and shes always kind and makes sure that you are comfortable with blood draws.
The staff is friendly. The wait was terrible. 10 + people came in after me and several said they did not have an appointment. I waited over an hour and the waiting room emptied out twice while I waited.
About 1 hour walkin wait time.Easy to sign in, and wait in the car or courtyard. They text you when its time to come up and give your insurance and work orders, just before its your turn.
What is the point of a appointment? I am 1.5 hours past my appointment time and they keep telling me I am next. I go up and ask if they are sure I was not skipoed and they keep saying no .. you are next. This place is aweful!!!!
Checked in to get lab work done to find out they’re appointment only. No mention anywhere until you sit down and they decide to let you know. Nice
Genessa, at the Val Vista and Willis location is absolutely fabulous!!! Shes professional, compassionate, friendly, as well as giving an excellent stick!!! Thank you so much, Genessa!!! Ill definitely be specifically asking for you the next time I need labs. .
From the reception to the phlebotomist .. ZERO customer service. They won’t greet you or smile at you. Katheryn who is supposed to be the “team leader” was extremely rude. She explains with sarcasm , rolls her eyes and talks about you as if you are not standing in front of her. Unacceptable. Take your business somewhere else.
6/21/21First let me say the air conditioner wasn’t working then the front desk ladies are so rude in so many way. YOU Would think if you are NOT a people person get another job!!!The lady who did my mom blood work was amazing
I’m giving 3 stars for this. Getting in is great their nice and quick. But I’d like to say getting ahold of somebody is RIDICULOUS! I’ve been calling all morning and no answer. Than it says “press one for a call back” I press one for call back it than tells me voicemail box is full and than makes me hang up and than I have to call back YET again to wait and hear nothing but music, and automated recordings. I’d do it online but I CANT which is why I’m trying to call! And I’m STILL NOT GETTING THROUGH! Maybe they’ll read this review and answer they’re phone.
I was a walk in with no appointment. Checked in, paid, did the blood draw and was out the door within 20 minutes. This place is awesome.
Horrible experience! They said it would be 90- minutes and we’re still waiting 150 minutes later! Where else can we get tests done without an appointment? Appointments are never available for days or weeks. This is unacceptable.
Come on Sonoran Quest. It’s a drop off, DROP OFF!! Let people drop off with their paperwork and go. You have to do business better than this. You still should have customer service. Why not have a drop off person that collects drop offs and then people can go. Instead you wait, wait wait, wait and then you drop off. Makes zero sense!
I left before getting my lab done because the employees here made me feel very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this location, but rather recommend the Queen Creek Sonora Quest location. I had no issues there!
I was a walk in and got a little nervous about the wait, when I saw approximately 15 people there. From start to finish it was 37 minutes. I was quite happy.
Very very efficient, respectful and polite staff in the front and the back !! Kudos to you all guys !!! Keep up with the super great work . I am physician and patient today - was super fast and great experience. Recommend to any one needs labs done.Dr. Pravin J Patel.Gilbert.AZ.85297
The most customer UNFRIENDLY/INEFFICIENT experiences Ive ever had across healthcare. And sadly they dont care, based on the attitude of their staff. Time to find a doctor with in-house services.
The worst SQ office we have used. Booked an appointment a month in advance and waited 45 minutes past appointment time, seems there is no point in making an appointment.
Wait times are horrible. They call names only once and you can barely hear them. And they allow patients who come in later (without appointments) to skip ahead in the line. Will be going back to Lab Xpress going forward.
We just had the best experience. Staff was extremely friendly and fast! We were in and out in 10 minutes. Plus they open earlier now. Great experience!
Other than check-in with rude front desk person the process was not too bad. I waited about 30 min and the phlebotomist was excellent. No pain with the draw.
Been on Saturday. But it was not open
I had a blood draw today with Jenny. She was great. Thorough, professional, kind. Pain free blood draw.
Walk in and was on no 12. Had to wait almost two hours, yes 2 hours until they called in. Not coming back. Seeing 5 people that came later got called in before me.
The worst place I have been to. There are never any appointments available to book online. They make you wait 30 to 45 minutes just to drop off samples when they say you will be taken right away.
Had to wait 2 hours, even with an appointment, because they couldnt find my lab orders. After 1.5 hours of me trying to get a call back from my doctors office- they suddenly found them. They,d had them the entire time. Didnt even get a sorry from them and they didnt even take me next.
This Sonora Quest location has amazing people that are kind and professional. No order was sent from my Dr., and the SQ associates were ALL caring, the way all customer service should be.
The new location (as of June 2019) is much more spacious and parking is much easier. The techs and receptionists are very friendly and helpful.
I would like you all to know what a HUGE inconvenience it is for me to have to come in again less than 48 hrs before my surgery, in severe pain to get blood taken again because your tech failed to draw enough the first time!
Wildly behind. I had an appointment and it’s well past by an hour. The front staff is nice.
I made an appointment way in advance. came on time . 40 minutes later i am still waiting in the lobby
This office is insanely busy. Walk in appointments wait time is between an hour and a half to 2 hours. Drive to an office that has available appointments..
Even after prior appointment and being on time, I waited almost 40 mins … why do the give appointment if
This place is amazing! Michael and Vanessa were fantastic! Definitely recommend.
This location displays very poor organization with no sense of urgency for customer service.
Great service easy blood draw not painful. Very smooth and easy.
Horrible customer service. They have kiosk to sign in which is fine but they have no other indication of how long the wait is going to be.
Love the new office and location. Had an appointment and was in and out in 15 minutes.
Nice people work here. Without appointment , my wait was minimal.
Very fast and nice people. It was a good and easy experience!
Staff very helpful . And nice!
Had to wait over 2 hours even when waiting room was relatively empty.
Wife getting blood drawn for doc appt next week
Definitely a long wait, over 2 hours
Wait time it’s ridiculous too long! 😡
Bad etiquette, very rude, not worth the hassle.
The staff are courteous and efficient and on time.
Kate was a great phlebotomist!
Long wait time.
Very Slow.
This isn’t the correct address google...
Lost my test results!
Poor customer service!
Checkin process is very unorganized.Phlebotomist was great!
