I’ve mostly had positive experiences at this urgent care. The NP, Donna, is always great. She thoroughly listens, takes me seriously, and is respectful. I appreciate her professionalism and bedside manner. The nursing and office staff are also friendly, compassionate, and caring.
My experience with this Urgent Care venue was outstanding. Terrific staff…spotless facilities….and the aide & Nurse Practitioner both dealt with me in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner. Thanks to my health insurance, there was No Charge for the visit. The two Rx I received (1 for pain & 1 for a muscle relaxant) cost me $3.30 each. 😊They also recommended that I should seek out a good Chiropractor, or Masseuse.
From the moment I walked in to the time I walked out, my experience was great. The ladies at the front desk, the nurse, the nurse practitioner, even the guy who did my x-ray were absolutely amazing. I absolutely recommend AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours - Cherrydale! Keep up the good work!
I just spoke with a front desk representative, Keeley on 6/19/24 and I had quite a few questions for her about my bill. She was so professional and answered all of my question, and I do mean ALL. I rarely get sick, so not knowing all of the ends and outs of how insurance and claims or how procedures work it is not something I am used to. But Keeley was patient and under standing throughout the conversation. THIS is a rarity in todays world!! She never tried to rush me nor did she give short answers to move on to my next question. I wanted to take the time to thank her here. As an example, you know when you have a bad experience like at a restaurant, you complain or have it corrected, but when we have a pleasant experience, we kind expect it and never thank the chef, and we pay and leave. The chef never knows how well his plate turned out. So this is MY chance to thank Keeley for her work practice. As a firefighter who we dont get a lot of thanks (on the scene) for our work, but its ok, we just do the job and hopefully is was enough and leave back to the station... this is why I wanted to say thank you, it was most appreciated. I hope the rest of the staff is as friendly and knowledgeable as she is, I bet shes not alone. Thank you again Dal B.
I visited this location on 6/26/24 and it was genuinely one of the best experiences Ive had at any healthcare facility, let alone an Urgent Care. This was mainly due to the team there-- both women at the front desk were friendly, the tech who took my vitals was extremely nice, attentive, and warm, and the doctor (Dr. Donna) was very comforting, sweet, and informative. This is the first time Ive ever felt moved to write a review like this, but the team that was working in the evening that day was fantastic and deserve all the praise and recognition!
I generally try to avoid doctors, but I was pleasantly surprised at how caring and interested these folks were. They were professional and courteous, but they made me feel that they genuinely wanted to find the cause of my problem. That alone made me feel better in addition to their medical help. Five stars!
Great experience this morning. Got in quickly, had a chest X-ray, steroid shot, and prescriptions transmitted ASAP. NP Brandi knows her stuff and explained my diagnosis and treatment in terms I could easily understand. This should’ve been my first choice Friday and I would probably be a lot better today. Live and learn. The entire staff was great. Thanks so much!
If you are willing to wait over 2 hours in the waiting room this is the place to come. We even reserved our spot online and filled out the paperwork before we got there… I don’t know what was going on back there but this was the worst experience from an urgent care facility that I’ve ever experienced. When we came in there were 2 people in front of us and then it got extremely busy… not to mention that they pulled people back that arrived after us that didn’t check in online… urgent care of cherrydale, respectfully get your crap together!
Long wait time, hours & hours, definitely not urgent. Not clean, not even paper put on the exam-table.
The PA, Ellen, was compassionate, kind and efficient. The X-ray tech, Darrell was also very kind, compassionate and efficient. I felt truly cared for by your Cherrydale staff members. The ladies in reception, whose names I do not know and the intake nurse were also kind, compared and efficient. They made me feel valued as an individual.
Hands down the absolute BEST experience ever at an urgent care. Every single person I came in contact with could not have been more kind, caring and patient! Thank you to the entire staff! You all were amazing!!!
Took my 9 year old grandson in today. He has injured himself pretty good and was told by the staff that they dont see children. What the hell kind of facility sends an injured child away. The staff was stupid and rude. Went down the road to advanced care and got right in.
I took my wife to AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours Cherrydale because my wife had burned her fingers earlier in the week very badly. She was in severe pain. The receptionist was immediately rude and had a bad attitude. After we were told we had a 2 hr wait, we chose another urgent care facility nearby. This wasnt my first bad experience with this facility. I dont recommend it. If someone hates the public and their job this much, find another profession.
The staff here was very understanding and helpful. Brandi was knowledgeable, Audrey made me feel at ease. And Keely was warm welcoming lady..
The process was amazing from the receptionist all the way to the X-ray tech. I absolutely loved Ellen and feel like I can completely trust the diagnosis and will be on the road to recovery soon. Im so pleased with the service I received.
I ok m not sure a doctor actually works here. Made appointment online, 2 people in line ahead of me. Went in and way more than 2 people were seen before me. Then when I finally went to a room, the nurse took my blood pressure and temperature. Then went to talk to provider (I assumed about a flu test or the like) but nope. The “Dr” wouldn’t even see me at all. Told me to go to the ER. Wasted my damn time.Follow up: I went to Prisma urgent care and was test and diagnosed with the flu. Given nausea meds and sent home. I feel better already. DO NOT waste your time here! It was completely unprofessional! I’m still pissed about it!!
Unprofessional, not compassionate, poor bedside manner, misdirected medical advice. Best example of all of this: two medical assistants/techs did NOT know how to operate the EKG machine and were discussing their inabilities in front of the patient (my son) wondering whether it was the machine or my sons heart. He was visibly sweating and legs shaking due to what they were saying and there was no attention to his distress. As an overall healthy 21 year old coming in for chest pain that was likely anxiety, the nurse practitioner advised him to go to the ER because of a non life threatening finding on his EKG, which could have even been due to operator error. I would NOT send my dying dog here.
Wonderful staff, I was treated with a smile and very attentive ladies at the front. Very prompt and courteous!! Once called back the staff was prompt and very much personable. Which is not given very much these days. And very much appreciated and noticed. The Dr. was excellent as well. She listened and was so helpful and understanding. Everyone there was very professional along with the fact that they all showed me that they were a team. I very much needed and appreciate the kindness and care to go above and beyond to make it a great experience in my time of need. I have always dreaded going to the doctor. But I have to say this was the best visit I ever had with the staff and Dr. Thanks to them all for the kindness and expertise!!!
We had the best nurse and nurse practitioner. They really listened, didnt make us feel rushed, and shared their sympathy of my symptoms.
I would review my visit with zero stars if I could. It was the worst experience of my life. I was refused to be seen because I had a balance on my account from a previous visit ...... the visit statement date was 3/16/2024 with a balance due date of 4/15/2024 (today is 4/02/2024). They claimed their policy is no one can be seen if there is a balance due on their account, which is a lie. Furthermore, if that is the policy it should be posted at the window before a patient registers at check in. I was treated like a second class citizen who doesnt pay his bills when nothing could be further from the truth. I PAY ALL MY BILLS WHEN THEY ARE DUE !! Evidently, this location doesnt believe in the pledge do no harm to the patient, treat patients with dignity and respect, and provide compassionate care under any and all circumstances ..... I wonder how they would perform if faced with a real emergency on a patient with a balance due ???Obviously, I will never return to this God awful place and would never recommend it to anyone !!
Help desk is one person pony show, the front is full patients, and only a few people working in the back, you’re better off at your primary or another ER. No one is in a rush to see you regardless how simple or complex your conditions are. If you have all time in the world to wait, this place is for you.
Staff was compassionate and caring, I was seen timely and received adequate time to receive education and to express myself. Overall a wonderful experience and the PA was engaged and really good 👍🏼 the RN was caring
After cutting my finger with a bread knife and having a difficult time getting the bleeding to stop I reached out to my PCP. They were not able to see me and suggested going to Urgent Care. The team at AFC Urgent Care Cherrydale welcomed me in and quickly had the bleeding under control and the cut beautifully dressed. Everyone was thorough in their work and so very friendly. Thank you Brandi, Ellen, Michelle, Keeley, Alyssa, and Alex for your compassionate care! You are a great team!
I gave a rating of 4 as I was not happy with treatment at first. Yet, the office manager called when she found out there was an issue and resolved my concerns. For that I am grateful.
My daughter has been very sick. I took her here because she was getting worse. They are very kind and knowledgeable. They treated us with respect and kindness. They did an x ray and prescribed the right antibiotics for her illness. I am very satisfied and grateful with their professionalism. I didn’t have the same experience with the one on Wade Hampton Road. Sadly , it was the opposite experience over there.
!Most people dont go to an urgent care unless it is urgent!!! I needed stitches on the weekend....The receptionists, Keeley & Amy quickly got my info and had me back with medical providers! Not only was Brandy Giles (provider) excellent in giving stitches, she helped reassure me about the whole process. Alex Riley held my hand and talked to me throughout the entire process (I was panicking). The comfort and medical care I received was above and beyond my expectations!! Thank you!!!!
Staff was polite and professional when i went for an employment drug test ,took test on friday afternoon and still have not recieved results yet on wednesday morning , very slow compared to others
A part of the Greenvill Medical Monopoly. They charge almost triple!!! Lol. What a joke. I instantly walked out. Went right on over to Carolina Urgent Care...great folks. No wait. Around 100 bucks...I was out within the hour.MOMOPOLIES ARE AWFUL!!!!
Thank Angela and Brandy for their cheerful attitude and competence in helping me reach a successful outcome. And your front desk person also deserves notice for their friendliness and efficiency.
Found Brandi, the NP, very helpful regarding the types of tuberculosis tests. And AFC only charges for the initial prick. Some charge for the follow up too.
The staff was exceedingly helpful, and Ellen Jaskiewicz was very thorough and competent in my treatment. Darrel was friendly and professional in his dealing with me as well.
Me and my daughter was seen there about 1 week ago and my ins co. required a prior authorization prior to filling her rxs. Angela and the office Mgr. Ashley assisted me and got all the paper work filled out and sent it to my ins. co. I dont know what I would have done without them. The entire staff was professional, friendly, and fast. Kudos to Dr. Hudson as well. Would definitely recommend them.
Took 4 hours to be seen even after making an appointment online. Seemed very understaffed and slow. The final aggravation was when I heard people up front talking and laughing all the while I had been in the little room for an hour. Come to find out that was the nurse practitioner that came in to see me after I went and asked. Seems rude to be chit chatting when you know sick people have been waiting hours
Brandi the NP, was extremely helpful, patient, caring, and very informative. Everyone should have the passion she has for her job!
Everyone I interacted with from the front desk to the PA was professional, friendly, and courteous. Also, there was not a long wait time.
I dont know their names, but they were both sitting at the receptionists desk. I was having trouble with my grandboys Medicaid insurance, but this woman helped me and was very patient. She never gave up, but she continued to look for other ways to find my grandboys insurance information, so I dont have to pay and both will be seen by the NP. The other woman was also very kind to just have the authorization emailed to her, so my boys can be treated today. They were very kind, knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful. I truly appreciated it with all my heart. Thank you.
When I arrived at AFC, I was welcomed and told that I had 10 people in front of me. The front desk traded me with respect and kindness. When I was called to be put in a room they allowed my son to go back with me so he knew what my diagnosis was going to be and what I needed to do, the nurse and the nurse practitioner I worked with along with an x-ray technician was so very kind even they were busy. Is where I go when I Need to see a doctor when my doctors office is closed.
Everyone was very kind and friendly from the minute I walked in. Plus the wait time was short which is really important when youre not feeling well. Thanks!
I injured myself and needed to see someone quickly. The entire experience was efficient and professional. Dariella in reception is personable and got me registered easily. They have a great system you can do on your phone. Darrell was great in preparing me for the Nurse Practitioner and for my X-Rays. Donna, the NP, spent time with me and answered all my questions. Everyone is knowledgeable and helpful. I have had some bad experiences at urgent care centers and this was the exact opposite. If you are in need of urgent care, I highly recommend them. They are definitely worth 5 Stars.
Extremely efficient, professional and friendly! Very pleased with the level of care received by Dr. Ellen and nurse Millie
The staff is very compassionate and thorough.I was cared for and never felt rushed.
I had a fantastic experience today at AFC Urgent Care, where Millie, the nurse, and Donna, the nurse practitioner, provided exceptional care. Their professionalism, efficiency, and genuine concern for my well-being made the visit smooth and comforting. I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care, and many thanks to Millie and Donna for their outstanding service.
Wonderful experience. I was taken in and seen promptly. The staff and doctors were super nice. I was also able to get more done than i was expecting which saved me from having to see a specialist. 10 out of 10 will go there again.
Nurses and DR were fantastic! So easy to talk to, kind, and empathetic even though it was a packed waiting room. Im so glad I chose them instead of another urgent care facility!
Was very anxious but everyone from the front desk to the nurse practitioner was so kind, caring, and professional. Put my mind at ease, clear instructions, and took extra time to listen to my concerns. Everyone needs this type of compassion.
While my nurse, nurse practitioner, and the ladies upfront were awesome, the staff hanging out in the back were loud and ghetto. One girl is popping her gum nonstop, another is FaceTiming someone so you can hear her entire conversation, and one woman was cursing and talking very unprofessionally about another patient. They all gossiped the entire time. One woman even smelled like WEED when she walked by. When you don’t feel good this is the last thing you want to have to listen to while waiting to be seen.
When I registered and completed my paperwork, I was told the weight could be nearly an hour before I was seen by a doctor. I wasn’t even there 20 minutes when I was called back. It was fast and the staff were courteous and professional. Best of all, it is in the Bon Secors network.
Everyone was so friendly & understanding from the front desk to the provider to the staff in the back. Thank you very much!
The N.P. and the staff @ AFC urgent were awesome to care for A Sick person
Facility was so clean. From beginning to end everyone was great! Loved the friendly professional and caring staff and Donna Marling!!!! I have been to both AFC near me in Easley where I live and the 20 min drive was very worth the care I received from everyone there!!!!!! I will be back and have already recommended AFC Cherrydale to friends and family !!!!!
Everyone was very kind, understanding, listened and helped to take care of me. Even as simple as turning the lights down to help my migraine sensitivity. Wonderful staff and I will absolutely recommend to anyone needing to be seen.
I called ahead, with limited time, and was not told of the save your spot option online. Upon walk-in at 8:45 a.m. and only 3 patients in the waiting room, I had to leave after a total of 1 hour 20 minutes without being seen (put in exam room but no one ever appeared). I asked them about their staffing. There was no doctor though I was told I would see a doctor. Staff available to diagnose/prescribe included only 1 nurse practitioner serving 5 exam rooms. Triage protocols seemed non-existent. This is the 2d time I have had such horrible service. I went to Prisma urgent care later in the day - the facilities are far nicer, medical staff prompt, and got in and out in 45 minutes. Another typical Bon Secours experience. Im leaving my internal medicine group at Bon Secours for the same reason and headed to Prisma. I also have never given a 1 star on any review.
The only positive I have was the friendly front desk staff.I made my appointment online, got there early and was still waiting to be seen after 1hr 40mins. I had to ask what the cause of the delay was, and when I was pacing in the passage (to try and relieve some terribly bad nerve pain in my lower back) a nurse was incredibly rude to me, there was no sympathy and no explanation again, despite her colleagues seeing me do the same thing.I wont be rushing back.
Friendly and efficient! All staff was very nice and expedient and that was really appreciated.
Was able to complete checking online, staff was polite and helpful. Went less than an hour before close and was greeted by a kind receptionist and seen by a wonderful nurse and doctor.
They were busy and it took some time but everyone was kind and Brandy was fabulous!!
10. Your staff were all very professional and pleasant. From the receptionist to the Nurse to the Nurse Practitioner and the X-ray technician they were excellent Just thanks for being kind and pleasant
The provider I seen, & staff were very nice & helpful. My family & I have never had a bad experience coming to AFC Urgent Care Bon Secour by Cherrydale & will continue to come back when I need to. Thank you all for all you do to keep my family healthy! God Bless You All!
Everyone is always so extremely nice and helpful. From the receptionist to Darryl to Donna - really kind and helpful. They always take their time and make us feel very cared for. Thank you!
Great staff on all levels. High marks for Dr. Donna, Angela, Hannah and (Im sorry dont have the name) Receptionist. Very professional and quick with service. These Urgent med locations are like Medical Detectives where they look at all the evidence, figure out the crime and then the best course of action. Highly recommend this Precinct. Date of service: Saturday, April 22nd around noon.
Brandy and her staff were amazing. So professional and sympathetic. We would definitely drive 30 mins again. 100/10 recommend.
Horrible experience and wait. I arrived & noone was in the lobby waiting. The receptionist asked my name & reason for visit. Then she sent me a link to sign in for visit. I waited about 20 minutes & someone came to take me back to room & get my vitals. I have currently been waiting in a room for 2 hours. I will say that someone did check on me after about 30 minutes & apologized for the wait. Now in then the following 1 hour 30 minutes noone checked on me. Ive just been sitting here until I had enough and finally stepped out to ask where the Dr was. They said I was next but still I continue to wait. I live 3 minutes from this clinic and will never visit it again. Ive driven across town to the Urgent Care by Woodruff Rd in less time. If you have an emergency or need Care this is the last place you should visit! This place needs to seriously be Investigated.
The one star is for Dr L. If I could I would give 5 stars to the three ladies that helped me today with much kindness, respect and professionalism. One was the receptionist, another took my vital signs and the third gave me the paper prescription at the end of my visit. I was upfront and explained to the receptionist who explained to Dr L. that I was there because I needed my usual prescriptions refilled. I explained that after moving to the area, leading a busy life and some procrastination on my part that I hadnt yet established a relationship with a new PCP. After the receptionist explained my situationto Dr L she returned to the front desk and said that he was ok with seeing me. Dr L did give me a prescription for seven days. I requested a longer refill to cover me until I could see a new PCP, which cannot happen within the next 7 days. I was told it would take at least 30 days. Dr L wasted my time and money knowing the situation and wants me to return weekly until my appointment with a new PCP, which he should have made clear before I checked in and knowing the situation. He appeared to enjoy denying my request. The doctor spoke down to me in a condescending unprofessional manner. He clearly had a problem with a patient like me. I wish he would have not seen me, the receptionist had informed him about my situation prior to me even checking in giving him the perfect opportunity to avoid the encounter. My problem is not that he denied my request but he arrogantly treated me as inferior to himself. Maybe he was just having a bad day, I dont know, but it is very unfortunate for AFC that he treats people with such disrespect. I dont plan on ever returning or recommending AFC solely because of him.
After a mixup with the office manager, AUDREY saved my day. I needed an unusual test and she researched protocols and went above and beyond--all with a smile. The doc was great, too.
I appreciate being able to come in on a Saturday after working sick all week and get a prescription! I appreciated being asked what usually works and what doesnt work. Great service and everyone there was nice.
Not all urgent care places are the same. This will be the place I would go when I need one, excellent and competent medical staff! They are equipped with an X-ray machine and able to do certain tests some other places cant.
Received courteous, quality and professional care from the office staff. Dr Ta was great in his service unto me, he did not rush me out of the office. Very compassionate and caring. The receptionist Lindsey was professional and kind. Though in compliance with HIPAA, she did not get upset about me asking questions in regards to measures they take to maintain a safe environment for patients. Tanya the medical assistant also exemplified a high standard of care and patience, assuring me my concerns will be thoroughly considered and resolved in a timely manner
We had such a positive experience at this urgent care! When my child’s injury was determined to be really gnarly, the medical provider went to great effort to facilitate our passage to the next level of care while providing such good care on site and helping us to feel encouraged. I am relieved to find this location close to my house and to know that, should the need arise again, my family will be treated with so much compassion.Provider: Da Ta—— amazing doctor!X-Ray tech: Angela—thank you!!!
Very friendly and professional staff ! Thank you Amy, Dariela, (font desk ) Darrell , Millie , Dashia and Patricia ! Lastly the provider Donna is one of the BEST ! Thank you for all your hard work and being open on the weekend ;)
Was able to see my son at last minute and on a Sunday. Ive been here myself a couple of times and told others its a good place to go. They were a lit extra busy that day but still made time. The receptionist well, I think everyone was ready to go home and get off. The nurse was nice and the nurse practitioner was able to help. Pretty easy in and out . Didnt have to sit and fill out paper work was able to do it all online on my phone. Good place to go when I pinch.
I will never go anywhere else. I can in with my two year old daughter and everyone was wonderful. The front staff was friendly and efficient. The nurse was great with kids which is something you dont see every where. The Dr we say explained everything to us and had a great personality. There was a very short wait time even though it was a Saturday. I will definitely using this office when the need arrives.
Absolutely amazing experience here! This office is close to my house and convenient. Both times I setup an online appointment and called before I came because it was close to closing time, but they always gladly saw me. They listened to what I had going on and we got to the bottom of the issue — ultimately it was strep but the first antibiotic didn’t work, so they switched it at the second visit and that fixed it. Additionally, both times I was in and out super fast and the staff that helped me (I think Diane, Sandra, Kendria + Tina) were thoughtful and kind and amazing. Highly recommend!
The employees were efficient and kind in their practices. I appreciate their knowledge and ability to help us feel better. Dr. Donna and Darrell were great!
I had a great visit (for a not so great circumstance 😩) which started at the front desk when Lindsey greeted me. She was very pleasant to talk to, helpful and you could tell she enjoyed what she does each day. Tanya was equally as pleasant to interact with while checking vitals and obtaining info. etc. She showed genuine interest and concern during the process. And Dr. Diane was able to quickly diagnose the ailment and answer the questions that I had. I recommend this solid team to anybody seeking medical services.
Brandi Giles did an excellent job with my 5 year old son. Im so happy she figured out a solution and he slept all night for the first time in months last night. THANK YOU! We always get great care here.
This is hands down the nicest, most thorough urgent care clinic I have ever visited. Dr. Smith was wonderful with my children and took the time to really check them over and treat them. She is a fantastic Dr that I wish was a primary to see all my kids on a continuous basis. Yes sometimes there can be a wait but its genuinely worth it. You receive excellent care.
I was having a bout of gout, the attention was prompt, efficient, and thorough. They took the immediate measures to get me to the right doctor. I so appreciate that. Thank you very much.
Diane, the provider was excellent in her diagnosis, even though it turned out to be worse than what we thought…. Lindsey, the receptionist was amazing at welcoming me and helping me file with my insurance!! Tanya, was awesome as well while taking my vitals, & very professional. And last, but definitely NOT least, there was the X-ray tech, Angelica who was so much fun to be around & kept the mood light in a scary situation!!! Thanks so much for everything!!!!
Staff was very friendly and sympathetic to my needs. I was in moderate to severe pain from a chronic throat problem that comes on suddenly and they did their best to help alleviate the pain the same day, so I wouldnt have to suffer through another night like I had the night before. While there was a prolonged wait because so many other people were sick at this time, they allowed me to sign in and then leave and called me to return when they were able to see me. The staff that was there did the best that they could given the overwhelming number of patients that came in, so this is not a negative comment for the staff, but it seems that Bon Secours could better anticipate the staffing needs for cold/flu season and get them more help. The nurse practitioner that I saw was doing her very best but was obviously overwhelmed. The entire staff, Sabrina, Angel, and Angela, gets a heart felt thank you from me!
I am always super wary of urgent care facilities, but this was by far the best experience I have had overall. When I first walked in, I had questions about copayments and coinsurance, so the woman working the desk printed out everything for me and walked me through it. She was very polite and understanding. I did not have to wait very long at all after I got checked in. The nurse I had was absolutely fabulous. She really took the time to listen to me and to my concerns. She asked me on multiple occasions if I had any questions and made sure to clarify to me everything I needed to know. The doctor was just as good. He knew exactly what he was talking about, and explained very well (and without talking down to me) what he was doing and why he was doing it. I would definitely recommend AFC at Cherrydale to anyone.
When I walked in Lindsey greeted me & she was very very sweet! I was supposed to have a drug test done at Emergency MD (north pleasantburg) and after 15 mins of waiting to check in I was told they didn’t do drug tests & were very rude & workers were in the back of the glass cutting up while there was a woman almost passed out on the couch! But yet they are contracted with the company I’m working for. Lindsey called them to get an explanation but no one answered. Angela & Gina were able to help get my test done at Urgent Care. All 3 were AMAZING! 10/10 recommend!
This is the best place to treat your urgent care needs. I have used this facility twice now and the entire staff is always friendly and efficient. I had a worker’s compensation claim that was handled without any issue. I had to have [lots] of blood drawn, which I am not a huge fan of. The nurse, Kendrea, was wonderful. She made the process easy and even provided me with something to eat since I had not eaten all day. Super job!!
This is the DMV of urgent care facilities. The only reason I even give this facility 2 stars in the first place is because the receptionist was very kind. I waited about an hour in the lobby, which I figured was about normal nowadays, but when I was finally taken to an exam room and given a strep test, I was left to wait almost 2 hours without ever seeing a doctor or getting any results back from my test. When I asked a nurse about it, I was given a very dismissive answer, and I eventually just left and went somewhere else. If youre in need of urgent care, please save yourself the time and go literally anywhere else but here.
I was able to be seen today by Diane Peele. She was very attentive and she actually listened to my symptoms. She has excellent bedside manners. I received very good and thorough treatment. I highly recommend this location. You can check in online and they are very prompt. All of the staff was very polite and courteous. Great atmosphere. Thank you.
My care was fine, both caregivers were very attentive and nice. AFC is not really a walk in clinic. I signed in online and had to wait 4 hours for an appointment even though I felt terrible. If you cant wait that long to be seen, go to another urgent care.
From beginning to finish, the staff here is wonderful. Lindsey was the receptionist, and being that I went in for a really hurt hip, she even walked my id cards back out to me, instead of calling me up to come get them. Tanya was the medical assistant, and was so kind and really listened. And the N.P. that was on duty, Diane Peele, was sooo above and beyond accommodating. She did so much for me to help my comfort. I really dont like going to Drs offices much, because I generally dont feel like a lot of times many of them listen. It feels rushed, and then youre still left with the same problems you went in with. And I always feel like Im bothering them. But the care at this facility is exceptional. I felt heard, and understood. Its nice when you find people that are compassionate, and in the right field for the right reasons. God bless all of you there. Thank you ❤
Awful experience. The waiting time is ridiculous for something called urgent care. They move extremely slow, it doesnt make sense.Very unprofessional.
I am from out of town , and I used the on-line app after midnight to make an appointment. It gave me an appointment that very same day by 11:00 am. Thats quick! worth staying up until midnight or waking up to make the appt. There was on-line reigstration so that I didnt have to wait 1 minute in the lobby. They called me in my car when it was my time. In the lobby, there were only 2 people waiting, and everything was impeccably clean. The office staff and nurses were calm, friendly and efficient. My P.A. Donna Marling, was so down-to-earth, professional, calm, knew her stuff, provided me with a print out on my condition, made some suggestions for doctors close to where I lived since I was new in town. Wow - It was not at all the impersonal experience I feared it would be. Just the opposite. Thanks, all you guys at Bon Secours! :)
My husband was there two weeks ago really sick. Lindsey at the front counter was so helpful in making sure he didn’t wait long and was taken care of. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was to hear about her kindness and willing to help. Too often in urgent care settings patients often hear the staff mocking and making fun of patients. So I would recommend this facility to anyone just because of how awesome Lindsey was.
Walked in and was able to make an appointment to be seen in an hour. Much better than having to sit there waiting to be seen. Was told to go online etc. to registered. I made a fuss because I hate all that, clerk kindly offered paperwork to fill out instead. Clean ,friendly, professional place. Called me day after to give results of lab work and to see how I was doing. Ill be back again if necessary
This is the best place to go to if you would like to get in somewhere and get out really quickly. This office doesnt follow the same thoughts that youll have to be at a doctors office all day, and have to take a full day off just for a simple visit. The front desk staff was very helpful and made sure I completed the rest of the paperwork I could not complete the pre registration ( which was very intuitive and easy to follow). I only waited for a few minutes and was brought to the back for the normal checks, and then the practitioner followed up with me, diagnosed my poison ivy and I was out of the door in less than an hour. Highly recommend this place to anyone who has a busy busy life and doesnt like making time for your doctor visit. Small or big, these healthcare professionals are on it!
Ive now been to this location twice, once for myself and once for my toddler son. Both were very good experiences. The offices are clean and bright, the staff all very friendly and helpful. My son really enjoyed getting a prize at the end of the visit. Ive never waited long to be seen, the paperwork was easy, prescriptions called in quickly. I even got a follow up call just to check up on me. I really appreciate the care here and would defnitely go back. Highly recommended!
I have visited here a few times for myself and my kids and we are always taken well care of! My last visit recently was excellent- Donna, FNP was very caring and listened to everything I needed to discuss. She even went out of the way to get me info on getting a new dentist who had an appointment sooner than later!
My husband and I needed travel vaccines for an upcoming trip. The AFC Urgent Care Cherrydale location was the only local place that had everything we needed in stock. Im so glad it worked out this way, because weve found a place we would gladly go again! The trip is a surprise for my husbands birthday, so I made the odd request to the staff that they (with his permission, of course) keep secret what vaccines he was getting. We received excellent care and everyone joined in with the excitement of keeping the secret.Special thanks to our care provider, Sabrina; receptionist, Angel; and medical assistant, April. I couldnt have kept our destination a secret without all of you!
Super nice staffThe receptionist was super kind and answered all the questions I had got us checked in quicklyThe nurse was sweet tooAll around had a pleasant visit
The staff members were courteous and the doctor kind. The care I got met my expectations. Now, the parts I didnt like. The bathroom had no soap. I dont mean the dispenser was out; there was no dispenser and no hand purifier in there. Also, the set up out from is really congested. Impossible to have a private conversation about why you are there if that matters to you.Again, I was extremely satisfied with the doctor and the efficiency of the staff.
I always get treated quickly and kindly. Its extremely affordable and I always leave knowing that my illness was treated properly. The receptionist Lindsey is so friendly and the entire staff is always so willing to listen and help in any way possible. I have used other urgent care centers before but will now only come here for all of mine and my familys needs.
I waited 45 minutes to be seen and only 1 patient came from the back. There was only one other patient waiting. Seems like gossip is a little more important than helping patients. The people in the back were really once I get back there.
I came in this weekend to receive a Covid test . The lady upfront Sandra was so polite despite the long lines out the door. Once it was my time to go back a lady name Audrey‼️ She was soooo nice and upbeat! I felt horrible but her energy was high and I fed off of it . The doctor on hand just put the cherry on top. I drove a good while to get the test done I’ll be back for sure it was worth the drive and excessive wait. Give them a rise ASAP workers like those you don’t let go !
The Provider and staff were so sweet and patient with my children and very understanding. It made a rough day much easier. Thank you!
I got here at 8:04am to be seen, to get tested for COVID. Through the night I made an appointment for 10:48 but I thought a walk-in could go faster. So I’m sitting here waiting.. it’s now 9:50am.So I come sit inside and I ask the lady at the front what is taking so long.. and she said well your appointment is at 10:48..I truly feel like.. if I got here at 8:04am and it’s 2 hours early what makes her think I wanna sit here for 2 hours. I came so I can get in early. I also stated that when I came in.I said I scheduled an appointment but I thought I could do a walk in instead. Because I have to go to work if my results are negative. She completed blocked what I said.I’ve never had an issue with this location but this has really irritated me. It’s almost 10 o clock. And then when I get in the back imma be back there longer. SMH
The entire staff was helpful and quick! Our NP, Brandi Giles, was especially thorough and informative. Awesome teamwork at this location.
Dec 2020: We signed up on-line for an appointment for covid-19 testing. We were seen promptly and efficiently. We appreciated the friendly staff.Second visit, Aug 2021: I appreciate the upbeat and friendly attitude of all the staff. I am sure they are swamped with cases right now and unhappy patients who didnt like waiting in the car for 2 hours, but they didnt rush me once I was in the exam room and did a thorough job. Thanks!Only grievance I have is accessing the sign in for an appointment on my phone. In order to enter my birthdate, I had to scroll all the way from 2021 to 1955. Harsh!
Dr Donna Marling is an awesome doctor. Listens to the patient, and is very thorough. Wish she had private practice,I would change to her. So many doctors today dont listen, and think they know it all, but listening to you patients matters because they know their bodies. Thank you Dr. Marling!
No one wants to be sick or have to go to Urgent Care but the nurse Donna was wonderful!!! Great listening and communication. She made me feel more at ease (less scared). She explained what I should expect, things that I should look for and what to do. I wish she was my family NP.
I HIGHLY recommend going as early in the day as possible. Early, I might wait a short amount of time, later, it might be hours (like any docs office, really). The nurse practitioner, Jennifer, is awesome. She listened, closely noted my pain and was amazingly fast. The student medical assistant, Meagan Oliver, was efficient, capable, and very very sweet. I loved that she was actually interested and didnt give off the bored impression that so many med assistants do.
I was in the office in less than an hour. Im used to being stuck in a doctors office for a long time. I was surprised how short of a time I there. All the staff were very nice especially the NPH Sabrina and the X-Ray Tech Angela. The only issue I had was that my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy. Other than that I would definitely recommend this urgent care facility to everyone I know. Great experience overall.
The experience was quick and easy. The receptionists ( ashley and Lindsey) were prompt and extremely helpful. Everyone greeted me with friendly voices and kept me informed of my short wait time. It was overall an easy, pleasant experience. I will use this location again in the future for sure. Thanks ladies, you all were great.
We were there about two and a half hours. Everyone was very good and kind. They couldnt get the reading on the x-rays from The Specialist. So they finally sent us on our way and called later. I just wish they would have sent us on our way earlier. It was a good experience and I thank you for being there. Its much better than going to the emergency room.
Went in due to pain in chest arm neck upper back all on left side, NP Langdon diagnosed me with some stiffness issues due to sitting at a computer for work with long hours. She sent me home with a prescription for opiates and muscle relaxers. Just didnt feel right to me, the next day I checked in with my primary doctor and was diagnosed with a heart condition that can be fatal if not treated. I felt that she rushed me in and out of the office, I am so glad that I checked in with my primary doctor the next day or I could have been in the hospital with a heart attack. I will never go to this Urgent Care again and I am warning everyone that I know about it. She chalked me up to having dealing with people like me at least once a day she said. She was very sure of the cause of my pain and was quick to prescribe opiates which to me is mind-blowing. If you need someone to spend time with you and get a precise diagnosis, do not go to this Urgent Care.
I am very appreciative of this medical team and location. I was very sick at a time when my doctors office was closed and I needed medical attention. I elected to go to Doctors Express. The staff, as I entered the building, were wonderful, very attentive and helpful. The doctor I saw that day was immediately responsive to my care. And with his medical treatment, advice, diagnosis and prescription etc., everything was very successful. He was very professional and caring. I would recommend to anyone this medical facility and team of doctors.
You will need to use online check-in. Also, they require you scan and upload all medical cards and id. I waited close to 2hours and many were going ahead of me because of online checkin. I choose to leave and see my medical doctor. The receptionist was polite. I will no longer utilize this location. I feel they are very slow and lack compassion.
I would give this staff and facility a 6/5 if I was able to. I came in with no appointment and was able to get in within a few minutes. These nurses worked extremely hard on my behalf; despite being extremely busy. They were kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. The staff member that assisted my the most was Sabrina Hinshaw who is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She put in extra time, effort, and care for me. I have never had a nurse quite like this before.
The staff was very friendly, kind and professional. Even though they were very busy, once you got back in a room, the nurse and attending physician let you know they were going to take good care of you and made you smile. If I ever needed urgent care again, I would come here again.
My husband had a foot wound that was treated here. Terrific staff, caring nurses. Dr. Smith and Tina took care of my husband. They were very professional, kind, and compassionate. We will not hesitate to come here again should the need arise. I recommend them highly.
This facility has been great with me and family for years. Everyone is welcoming and knowledgeable! There is never a long wait time. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a place that is great for the entire family! Lindsey, Jennifer, Tammy, and Angela are names I will never forget since they seem to always take care of my families needs!
Clean. Polite. Professional. Very helpful.I went in on a Saturday. I was worried about the copay. I could afford a $35 office visit but not a $250 ER charge. They confirmed my insurance copay immediately. I paid and they gave me an appointment time 1 hour later. They did some pre-screening on the phone to save time while we hit the drive thru nearby. I went into an exam room and total in there was around 30 minutes. Place was clean. Everyone was polite and professional. Thank you guys!
The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. They eased my mind and assured me they would do their best to help me.
Excellent staff. No long waits for care. Lindsey is very helpful at the front desk and Donna is excellent with giving shots especially to children. So if you are looking for great care go to AFC Cherrydale
I want to give a shout out to the best Staff ever!Jennifer Langdon, FNP - Very thorough, Knew right away what my condition was and how to treat it.Tammy, Medical Assistant - Very caring and knew exactly how to handle my condition.Lindsey, Receptionist - Very efficient and cordial to all Patients.I would definitely recommend this office to everyone. They are so competent, caring and very intelligent. Wait time from start to finish was 35 mins! Exceptional!
It was my first time at this location. They did a great job! From the online system, to the front desk, to the NP, Donna Marling, who assessed, diagnosed, and prescribed. I would definitely go back. Very pleased. 👍🏻👍🏻
The staff at the front desk was kind and courteous. The lobby and exam rooms was nice and clean. The assistant and provider was kind and took great care of me. This is my go to for my chosen urgent care.
Im from out of town so when I sliced my finger (not completely off) I wasnt really familiar with where to go. I walked into an extremely pleasant atmosphere and experienced a better than average wait time in my opinion (Ive been to my share of urgent cares in my day). Honestly the best part was the nurse who treated me, Lakisha. She was super knowledgeable and filled me in on everything that was going on with my injury. Lakisha had a great bedside manor and was super easy to talk to. All in all, Id give AFC a big ol thumbs up... (the finger in question was my thumb) so honestly if it werent for them, I dont know if Id ever be able to give a thumbs up again. =)
This is the worst experience I’ve had with any medical office. In the 4 times I’ve been to AFC I’ve had at least an hour wait every time even after signing in online before hand. They also don’t keep your records so you have to give them ALL your information every time you go. Doctors have never spent more than about 30 seconds with me which doesn’t make sense as far as wait times go. They also didn’t alert me when my time got pushed back by 30 minutes after I had already been waiting over an hour. I have waited today for 2 hours for a rapid COVID test that took all of 5 seconds for them to shove up my nose. And they refused to call me with my results upon request and continued to make me wait when I’m not feeling well and taking up a seat in a room. They claim it is “because a provider has to see me” and when the provider came in, it took all of 5 minutes for them to figure out I have an ear infection.
I’ve waited 3 hours just to get diagnosed with a UTI- the receptionist and the medical assistant who took my stats were great, but the wait was excruciatingly long which is the reason for only 2 stars. If you’re in pain, you may want to rethink your choice.
I took our son there with flu symptoms. We were in and out in an hour on a Sunday afternoon. The hour included filling out all paperwork, being assessed, flu swab which takes 15 minutes to process, seeing the provider who did a thorough examination and getting prescriptions. The facility was very clean and the staff was extra informative and friendly. Will definitely us again if needed.
Every experience has been excellent. Have been to this office several times with after hours injuries. We were seen quickly and always left knowing exactly the next steps to take to get any followup treatment required, if any. We have stopped by the office a few times since our medical visits and the front staff still remembers us - that is so refreshing. We have recommended this office to lots of folks and will continue to do so. Thanks for opening in our local community!
This is the worst place I have ever visited. Took my very sick father there about a week and a half ago. Sat there for about an hour...not busy AT ALL! Went to ask at the desk about how much longer..the receptionist then proceeded to say..well..he has a balance. I said why didnt you tell us earlier..oh, well we just got to him. what!? After at least 30 more minutes they finally call him back. Then he lost his voice and went back a week later for that and a sore throat...waited an hour again..finally the receptionist says... the doctor wont see him because theres nothing else he can do..take him to the emergency room Sorry as #!#!!
LONG WAIT TIMES. I signed in online and it said I was 3rd to be seen , I see people walking right in and being seen before me and I’ve been waiting AN HOUR. I finally get up and tell the blonde lady at the front desk that I’ve been waiting and have not been seen and she tells me I need to pay a fee before I need to be seen, why the was this not told me me before. I payed $130 , sat back down and am having to wait a half hour. I am finally being seen and the lady who is examining me brushes over a few questions but asks no detailed questions about what medication I have been using or if I have dealt with yeast infection before. The nurses here are like the walking dead, lifeless. This is ridiculous.
My husband needed to see a doctor on a Sunday morning and we chose Doctors Express based on the good reviews and Sunday hours even though it wasnt the closest location to us. Everything about our experience lived up to the online rating and we are so thankful for the courteous staff, knowledgeable and attentive doctor, and outstanding care we received. In and out in an hour including waiting on some tests and even getting xrays. So very thankful for this office and this staff. Thank you for your commitment to patient care!
This was my first time here and I don’t like going to the doctors unless I completely have to, but everyone was very professional And very nice. Diane, Lindsey, Tanya, and definitely Angela were all very sweet and amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
Everyone was so very kind helpful listened and cared!
I’ve been to this location 3 times, each time I had a different doctor and each time they were professional and kind. Highly recommend.
Lindsay at front desk was absolutely fantastic. The entire urgent care staff help us, we’re caring and friendly and I will go back again! Thank you so much.
What, no more stars? Cant rate AFC Urgent Care highly enough. Staff is excellent, caring, easygoing and totally pro. Even when theyre busy, they work hard to try to get you in as soon as possible. The doctor, Dr. Alsip, is incredible. She researched my situation, discussed with other physicians, spent time with me explaining in simple terms what I needed to know.6-stars. Thank you.
Great experience, after trying to get an covid test for my child yesterday, staff informed me that their appointment scheduling opens at midnight. So I booked an appointment at midnight online (the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars) but everything after was awesome. No long wait, friendly staff and awesome doctor!
All and all the experience was like at an emergency room slow. The technician had aattitude problem but she got it together beforeI left. Its a good place to go if you need medicalattention and dont want to bother with a hospital. All and all very nice people to deal with.
Donna-NP and Millie did a great job with my 94 year old mother. Sweet and no rushing her. Solved problem. Short wait. We would go back
I appreciated the courteous and professional way I was treated by the receptionist, As well as Danette and Dr Ta. He was knowledgeable about my symptoms and he considered the symptoms he had been seeing in other patients that might apply to me, such as Covid. I have gone here several times and I prefer this office to my Internist’s office.
I chose this location because Im new to the area and dont have a family Dr yet. I had interactions with 6 people. They did a standard blood test and had the results same day. They were all friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I was extremely nervous to start with but left with a plan and some Drs names and numbers to followup with. I also got a followup call to make sure I made the appt. This will be my urgent care go to while Im in this area.
The front desk receptionist was very friendly, however when I saw the doctor before examining me he offered me medicine. He gave me an option. I declined and he had to exaimine me. I was extremely uncomfortable during the examination based on the previous conversation. The nurse didnt have all the correct utensil needed so she was back and forth in the room, all the while I was being examined. One time while running in and out she left the door open and I had to ask her to close it.Absolutely no privacy and no feeling of professionalism or proper bedside manner. I will not be returning for myself or my family.
This location was really close to me and I saw their waiting time was less than an hour. I walked in filled out a quick sign in on their tablet was given paperwork to fill out and headed back to my car to wait. The nurse practioner called me to do a covid screen. Then let me know I could enter. They had a lot of ppe available like masks and sanitizer. I was quickly called in and seen very quickly after that. The staff was friendly and professional. Tammy and Jennifer were great.
Donna was amazing, really the entire staff. The front desk receptionist, assistant, provider. Highly recommend going here
All the staff really attentive since I called to make the appointment ,was easy and convenient, prompt attention; the person in charge of the triage and Doctor Marling asking questions about the symptoms and a good check-up, excellent instructions we thank you for the excellent service we received yesterday.
Lindsey and Julie were very nice and helpful with any and all questions I had it was a very good experience from the minute I walked in the door. Tammy and Alice also did an excellent job of being able to answer my questions about the services I requested. Very nice facility and very friendly staff. Not like the normal old doctor office you usually go to. Most likely will be going back to see them again.
The staff was excellent. However, the doctor didnt seem like he cared much or knew what he was doing. He decided to treat me for allergies but then just before i left came back in the room and said, I had a thought. It might be the flu. I dont know if he was asking me or telling me. Needless to say, two days later, I saw my doctor who treated me for strep.
Amazing staff and care! Went there after busting my leg open when out running and they couldnt have been more professional and courteous. Angel and Sabrina couldnt have been more on top of things, friendly, helpful, and effective. The wait was longer than I would have liked since their online system is still not functioning (so dont use it.. at least yet) but everyone was amazing as they fixed my knee. 5-stars would recommend, hope to never have to go again!
I made an appointment for 2 pm. Showed up at 1:45. No one at front desk and they won’t answer phones. Finally able to tell someone I was here and preregistered online. They said wait in your car. I’ve been waiting over an hour and online link says my estimated time of visit will now be 3:38! Why make an appointment to wait almost two hours in 98 degree weather in the car! I will never go back! Went back inside and still no one at the front desk! Many people have already walked in and left. I need a rapid Covid test and they know that. Do I wait another hour or just give up?
Provider Brandi was awesome and I prefer to be seen by her when visiting this location.
Nurse Practitioner Sabrina Hinshaw is pleasant and knowledgeable - I was treated quickly and efficiently and my prescriptions emailed directly to my pharmacy. The check-in process is also quick, and all of the nurses are very friendly and helpful. I use this office whenever I have an urgent need and my primary physician cant see me in a timely manner.
Everybody was very nice. They were very caring and efficient. I was in and out in a very timely manner. The doctor was thorough and knowledgeable. This was my first time at this place, but if I need to go to an urgent care center again, I will definitely choose this one.
A SUPER experience at AFC!!! I was greeted with smiles, seen very quickly, and treated as if I were family. Lindsey was at the front desk, Tina was my very excellent nurse, and Dr. Aragon my doc. They made me feel so welcome I almost want to get hurt again just so I can come visit. I know where I am going if I need any help in the future.....WELL DONE, ALL !!!
AFC Cherrydale is always great. But, they went over and beyond today when I brought in my very sick 87-year-Old Mom with a serious stomach virus. When I called ahead, Lindsay made sure her paperwork was ready since she had been there before. Tammy, the nurse was comforting but efficient. Dr Moore listened to Mom’s symptoms and efficiently gave a diagnosis, anti-nausea prescription and course of action to follow when we returned home. The overall feeling was one of soothing empathy and excellent care.
I brought my daughter here Monday night when my primary physician was closed. She threw up early Saturday morning at 2am and had been having a high fever ever since, then a nasty sounding cough Monday evening which convinced me to take her. I explained all this to the staff and told them her brother was now exhibiting the same symptoms. NP said it was an ear infection and prescribed an antibiotic. When I pushed back saying her brother caught it and it all started with vomiting, she still was convinced it was based around the ear. I took my son to our physician today who actually did a flu test based on symptoms (which AFC did not do) and its confirmed he has Flu B. Now my 7 month old infant has it. If we had known what my oldest had, we couldve been more diligent with keeping our infant away and, hopefully, well. Not to mention getting proper medicine to help my daughter heal. The fact that we had to pay an $89 bill for a misdiagnosis makes it that much more painful and frustrating. I would not go here again and would recommend you find another provider as well.
The staff was so nice and professional, keep up the great work
We easily found this location on the internet and checked our daughter in as a first time patient from my iPhone. My daughter was seen quickly upon arrival. The entire staff were excellent. We were pleased with a quick diagnosis. We will continue to use this location for future visits. The service completely exceeded our expectations.
I always feel well taken care of at this Facility! Everyone is so pleasant and nice and no matter how long it has been since Ive been there Lindsey always remembers me. I love Lindsey and Tiffany both. And the DRS really take care of me too. I appreciate them all so much!
They should include in the name Must have lots of money to be seen because this place seems to care more about getting paid than helping sick or injured human beings. If you dont have at least several hundred dollars to fork over before theyll even see you, forget about it. Theyll just sit back and watch you suffer. Hippocratic Oath says first do no harm. These doctors dont seem to abide by that Oath.
I went in January and was diagnosed with tonsillitis and given an antibiotic. It didn’t work, so I called about it and was told I had to come back in to be seen again. I went back in in February with the same exact symptoms as in January and a different doctor diagnosed me with upper respiratory infection. Both times my strep test was negative. A few days after finishing my antibiotics, my tonsils were inflamed again and burning. Same symptoms. I called and spoke with a nice nurse (the only competent person I’ve interacted with there) and she asked the doctor (same one I saw in January) about it. He said I had to come back in and be seen again. I’ve already spent over $200 at this place (and I have insurance). This place is a joke and I would not recommend it.
Very unprofessional service. I feel discriminated and mistreated. I show up at 19:10 to get a physical, TB testing and drug screen performed for a job. After filling up 6 sheets of paper work one of the nurses asked me if I had enough urine for the drug sample because since it was so LATE !!! she wouldn’t give me a second try. I said it’s OK and kept on doing paperwork. 5 min later she came back. She made me take my backpack with my asthma inhalers and allergy meds to the car because according to her “she had no room for it”. I took it to my car came back. No assessment was done no TB test was done, she took me straight to the lab asked me to verify my information, she corrected it and after I asked for a glass of water, she didn’t ask me to go ahead to the exam room just like I have always done, instead she kicked me out to the lobby. Nobody did any of the other tests while waiting for me to give the sample like it always happens. After 5 minutes another nurse comes out to the lobby and tells me “SORRY, WE RUN OUT OF SAMPLE CUPS”. I guess she forgot that I am a nurse and that I collect urine for a living too, that I was I the lab and that I had seen the CUPS !!!! stacked in the drawer. She gave me back the paperwork and dismissed me. I do this procedure every three months since I am a traveling nurse, never had such a sorry service anywhere in the country. The truth, I left the facility at 19:45, my assessment of this situation is that they wanted to go home because closing time is at 20:00.
I was seen in this office march 5th 20 and I must say I am impressed with the staff and Dr.s. I also had to call in for a refill 1 week later. I spoke with Lindsay who was very professional and caring handled my needs fast. I will be using this office when needed Thank you Lindsay and Dr. Langdon . I appreciate your care.
The clinic here in Cherrydale are awesome we are so pleased that there are still ppl that actually care about us . They did not treat us as another number they treated us like friends . Thank you to Lindsey she is the receptionist here and she was super awesome thank you😘 and a special thanks to Diane the provider 😘 she treated us like ppl for her she was not only a provider she cared about us she heard me ramble about my family and our thoughts I do appreciate that you actually listened to me 😘
I brought my daughter in to be seen & everyone from the recpetionist to the Nurse and the Doctor where amazing!! The I was greeted and taken back within minutes. The nurse was so sweet to my 2 year old, going slow with her as she was nervous. She brought her popsicles and suckers. The doctor was prompt and informative. We where in and out within 30 mins!!
Thank you for the good care my son and I received here. Dr. Smith was very attentive and took her time talking with both of us. Lindsay was so helpful getting me another referral for further care. Very positive experience!
The care I received here was great.I did have a bit of a billing misunderstanding; a lab work facility was trying to charge me more money than I had to pay. This review had originally been negative due to that, but I got a call from an AFC employee stating that the review was brought to her attention and she called to ask me some questions and she looked into my files and saw I didnt owe anything. She called whoever was trying to charge me and discovered the bill was in error. She straightened the whole thing out and saved me a world of grief. I feel bad for the initial negative review but they did a fantastic job fixing the issue, when it wasnt even theirs to fix. I will definitely be returning for care, god forbid I should need it.
I took my 1.5 year old for help. We waited in the waiting room 3 hours, and when the dr (Jennifer) came him back to look at him she was very belittling, rude, and patronizing. She kept telling me how she was an er nurse for years and they’d never do ANYTHING for my son if we’d taken him there. She hurt him as she checked his leg roughly and he cried the whole time she was checking him. I’ve had two go to urgent care twice since then, and I can’t bring myself to go back there.
I always find myself waiting hours, even when I reserve a spot in line. It was once so bad that I nearly fainted in the waiting room.
Lindsey and Julie did a great job getting me checked in, basically no wait. Jennifer was my nurse practitioner, she was very efficient and great to deal with. I would recommend AFC Urgent Care at Cherrydale
Front desk was courteous, empathetic and very helpful! I left very satisfied with the whole visit.
Excellent care- starting with the phone call with Lindsey to the timely manner in which I was handled after arriving, Julie and April took good care of me until Heather Hannon, the Nurse Practitioner took over. Heather was awesome. I will definitely use this location again. WOW from top to bottom
Used the online check in and we were 20 minutes total in the facility. Really handy. Also, I saw them quickly triage someone else and quickly make a decision to send them to another facility, rather than making them wait for nothing. As a parent, that kind of quick assessment would have been very important to me in a more urgent situation.
I️ went in yesterday feeling bad and soon as I️ got there The receptionist Leslie was very helpful I proceeded to start coughing and vomiting when Tiffany (medical assistant ) , Tina (X-ray) , and Angel(medical assistant) came to my help!! I️ am so thankful for them! And the physician Dr Smith was the best. I️ give them 5 stars thank y’all so much!
My provider was Dr. Jennifer Langdon and nurses were Alice and Keisha. Keisha did the best blood draw Ive ever had, not leaving a bruise or painful poke. Dr. Langdon was thoughtful and considerate and was not dismissive in anyway.Wonderful hours and short wait.
I was extremely pleased with the service & treatment and the Dr. was A+! As was the staff. I would recommend going here, they took really great care of me, and I felt I was in my deathbed! They called in my prescriptions to my pharmacy, and were just all around as helpful as possible.
Took my son in for sports physical. We were promptly greeted by Lindsey and Julie. I mentioned that their website had they were open until 6pm on Sundays however their hours posted on the door state 5pm. Lindsey immediately checked and said, ohh youre right I need to get that changed right away, thank you.Lindsey went out of her way in assisting me by faxing paperwork to my sons new pediatricians office which was so very helpful! So really special shout out to Lindsey for going above and beyond for us!Seriously all the staff were pleasant and professional. Got my sons sports physical quickly done by an MD and it was CHEAPER than minute clinic! If theres ever a time where my son cant get into his peds office, were DEFINITELY going back here! 😁👍
Went in due to a cancellation at my children’s primary care, Lindsey and Julie were both very helpful and able to get us in and seen quickly. They both were very professional and made sure we were ready to go for the new school year! Thank you both!!
I unfortunately had to pay a visit to the AFC Cherrydale last weekend after taking a tumble during a bike ride. Fortunately I landed in good hands with the staff at this urgent care! I referred to Diane, Amy, Kendria, and Angela as the Dream Team - because they were. They had me cleaned up, x-rayed, and stitched back together in no time and it was practically painless. They were helpful, kept my spirits up, and provided excellent care - making a bad situation much easier to handle. Thank you!!
The staff is extremely nice. The doctors i saw actually cared. I would rather go there than to see my primary care Dr. I would like to thank them for all they did.
I was in AFC Urgent Care for pneumonia. The NP Jennifer was wonderful. She wrote me a prescription, and I can tell it’s going to take care of my problem. The front office people were very nice and efficient. I will be going back there if I need to go to an urgent care facility again. Thanks everyone for everything!
They didn’t rush me through. The nurse and Dr. were very professional and made me feel like I was the only one there.
I definitely appreciated that the staff took time to listen to me and my concerns. Pam, Elizabeth and Kelley were authentic and genuinely cared about what I was there for. They also seemed happy to help and had a sense of humor.
My sister was seen and diagnosed with pneumonia (not COVID pneumonia). Gave her antibiotic and sent on her way. Was told if she had trouble breathing to call back and they would call in an inhaler. We called back for the inhaler to be called in, that took an act of Congress 🙄. The pharmacy shorted her 2 days on her antibiotic and the pharmacy said she would have to call urgent care back for another prescription. They wouldn’t call her in anymore and that it was the pharmacy’s fault. It’s not my sisters fault either. The lady that answered the phone was rude during all of this and will never go again. Wouldn’t recommend
Nurses were excellent but doctor dismissed us and instructed us to go to the emergency room. I know my child has a UTI. They are on the spectrum and were scared. This made my child cry and scream a little too much for the doctor to take. I was told my child had a fever of 102, and theres the door, go to the ER. I got the nurse to check it again and the temp was 98.9! The doctor was called back in and she onece again refused to help and again told us to go to the ER! I do not like being lied to and dismissed because my child was crying a little too loud. This is what is wrong with our healthcare system.
Everyone at AFC UC in Cherrydale is professional and nice. As a provider myself, I’m very careful where I send my patients when they need a higher level of care. I have seen Dr Aragon , J. Langdon NP, H.Bryant NP, all are excellent! The receptionists and MA’s are outstanding as well ! Thank you for taking care of me as a patient - I know when I receive this kind of care, you are treating the patients I send to you the same way! Highly recommend! I also need to thank Dr Smith who last year gave my daughter a referral to an allergist and prescribed her an Epi pen for severe reactions from an unknown cause. My daughter went back to college in VA and had to use the epi pen while waiting on an ambulance. I can’t say enough about the excellence of care provided here !
My child enjoyed her nurse very well.
Everyone that I interacted with was very professional and kind. The nurse practitioner alievated my breathing issues right away and gave me prescriptions for the medications I needed. It was better than my regular doctor!
Timely, efficient, effective, nice. Two visits to Doctors Express on N. Pleasantburg were both excellent experiences. I have seen both Drs. Sunshine and Strange - both were thorough, interested and took the time to convey information and instructions. Staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.
Alice was my daughters MA when we visited the office the other day she did a outstanding job to make sure my daughter was comfortable while getting swabbed for the flu and strep. She checked in every few minutes to keep us updated on the test. I would definitely come back here for care in the future.
I went to this place yesterday for what felt like a bladder infection or worsening of a cold I had for about two weeks. The ladies who took care of me were really sweet and best of all the wait time wasnt even that long for me and my husband. I will definitely be back if I am ever feeling awful again.
My 11 yr old daughter had a very bad cut on her upper thigh that required stitches and the doctor and staff took EXCELLENT care of her!!! THANK YOU Dr. Aragon, Kendra, and Sandra for your patience, expertise, and courteousness! I know that your care and professionalism will have my daughter up and running again!!
This place is great! I was worried going in on a Saturday that they would be busy, but I guess I went at a good time and was seen right away! Sandra and Alice were very friendly and Dr. Aragon was too. The office is very clean and welcoming! I will definitely go back here!
I took a co-worker into this place because he got something in his eye that he thought scratched it.When he came out they wrote up this long description on what was done and it was not what was done. Nothing was done...as a matter of fact they didnt even rinse the eye (he later found out he had gotten little bits of concrete dust in there and it hadnt scratched his eye at all)... AGAIN...they didnt even clean or flush his eye. They wrote that he didnt want to pay for on his exit sheet. I had already paid the bill of $125.00 while he was inside and he did not tell them he didnt want to pay.He saw a physicians assistant not a real doctor.Bogus!I guess this is the Bon Secours way? I would not go back...what a rip-off!
One other person in the waiting room and I was told it would be a two hour wait for a sinus infection ? I was given a list of other locations. Ridiculous
I went in for stitches yesterday. It was a two hour wait. The doctor rushed through the job. She commented that she probably should have put in one more stitch but she spaced them poorly. One on the three stitches is so loose 24h later that it is doing no good at all. An auto shop with this poor attention to detail would go out of business in no time. Why do we tolerate garbage quality of work from doctor that make 20x more and apparently can’t tie a knot?
Got there around 6:20ish since they close at 8PM and beats going to ER. Walked in with a fever of 103.2. Took everything: NyQuil DayQuil Sudafed. Fever had been ongoing since Tuesday night of OCT 19 and went in that Friday. Was seen at 7:30 and taken in to a room where nurse swabbed me twice. I was still burning up. Not really concerned and I kept getting dizzy and delusional. From 7:30-8:30ish talk about work, forgetting passwords, loud talking (made headache worst) and NP comes in looks at throat says it’s strep (no test) and prescribes me the worst antibiotic for strep. We did eliminate covid and the flu…It’s Sunday- she told me I’d be better by today. I’m not better.Contacted my family doctor in hopes she can see me bright tomorrow morning. I thought this was urgent care. Fast care- results and remedies. Not late night gossip .. idk what you have but here kinda business.I’m currently 101 again. This is the worst I’ve felt and I did not receive the care I wanted to that night. I should of went to the ER where I could get fluids, tests and care.
Although they often have extremely long wait times due to being so busy, they really do provide great care, they listen to your symptoms and treat you to the best of there ability, always leave there feeling much better and have peace of mind.
We were handle efficiently and expertly. My wife had cut her leg and needed stitches. I also was relieved that the service was with a smile. We left in good humor even after her accident.
I had been sick for 10 days and unable to find a doctor that I liked that could see me as a new patient. So, I visited Doctors Express in Cherrydale and saw Dr. Wilkins for a severe case of bronchitis and sinusitis. Dr. Wilkins was welcoming, thorough, and he listened to my concerns and answered my questions. My entire visit took less than an hour and that included filling out new patient paperwork and a call to my insurance company. With my insurance, it may have been cheaper to to to a GP, but I chose Doctors Express because there is no wait, no appointment necessary and their staff is there to get me in, get me treated and get me on my way to recovery and back to my life. I chose Doctors Express initially for the convenience and was blown away by the courteous and caring service I received. That is why Doctors Express is now my primary care choice. I also met Brad Childs, the President of the practice. He took the time to make sure that my visit went well, ask how I was doing, and make sure that I was satisfied with the care I had received and welcomed me to come in anytime for any reason. Go see the wonderful doctors and staff at Doctors Express for the convenience and youll go back for the excellent care.
I was rather annoyed during my visit. Their system was not taking credit cards/debit cards which was understandably not their fault, but I was called back while she was trying to take my card. Since I didnt have cash I had to go find an atm. When I came back rather than taking me back immediately they called someone else before me. When I saw the doctor he instantly diagnosed my hugely swollen lip as a cold sore practically before he even looked at it. And he diagnosed the huge lump on the back of my neck as an infected hair follicle even though the two would have nothing to do with one another. He also seemed to doubt the fact that these things just appeared as of 7am when I woke up. None of the staff was overly friendly. I ended up going to a different urgent care center which the doctor instantly determined I was having an allergic reaction and gave me a steroid shot immediately! I will not be returning to this location.
