We just moved to SC from MD and I was a wreck thinking about having to get an appointment out of pocket! Back home things are very rushed, no one cares and they just want to get you in and out. Bon Secours was affordable, clean, compassionate and every single person was incredibly sweet! I cant thank you enough for the excellent care you provided! Absolutely would recommend to anyone including my own family!
Im from Anderson where medical services of any kind are met with lack of knowledge and someone that hates their life and treats you like dirt. This was a most refreshing experience. Friendly helpful staff that all had smiles. I would give you guys 100 not a 10.Thanks to all for the wonderful experience
They are very friendly and professional. My son had to have a shot for 7th grade and was very nervous and scared. But as soon as they called his name to come back the nurse was very professional and got him feeling comfortable about having to get a shot.
Dr. Merck is always great! He is precise and to the point. He was even great with my two year old daughter when we had to take her in a couple weeks ago! Definitely wish he had his own family practice that my whole family could go to regularly!
The Powdersville location is probably one of the best run and has the kindest people I have ever experienced at an urgent care! Kudos to a staff that makes you feel welcome and not like an unwanted houseguest! Thanks again!
We brought my 5 year old son here for a fractured ankle. They did an x-ray, fitted him for a boot and charged $1134. $790 of that was for his temporary boot alone, that they did not even fit him for correctly and he ended up need a new one that he received from the Children’s Hospital we were referred to. It is mind blowing they can charge that much ($790) for a temporary boot you can purchase for $40 or less in store or online. They were extremely rude when questioned about the bill. Caution yourself when excepting anything they offer that you can purchase yourself.
Waited over 3.5 hours to be seen just to be told that what we were doing to keep doing for an allergic reaction . Yet it was getting worse and spreading . Told the PA, we saw I’m a nurse I’ve been doing all the things, had to ask for steroids and then was given an attitude about asking for it. Snapped back saying you don’t know how many patients I’ve seen today. Um yes sir and that’s your JOB! Don’t like it…. leave. This place is a joke and I’ve worked for bon secours in the past for over 7 years. The staff are loud, obnoxious with cackling, laughing and carry on while you are waiting to be seen. Highly unprofessional. I will be calling corp to complain. Which is crazy because as a nurse I completely understand how behind the scenes work and very empathic when being seen. Should have gone to MD360.
Awesome provider care. They really know how to treat their patients. Very impressed with everyone. Each person was polite and was positive. Thank you!
Horrible experience. Went in for a drug test and DOT physical exam required by my employer. The front desk advised there was no physician on staff and that they could only do a drug test. I sat for an hour waiting and then asked about how much longer and the receptionist advised they already said they couldn’t do it and it’s best to do the physical and the test together. That information was never relayed to me that I couldn’t at least do one part of the requirements today since I was already there. I understand if it couldn’t be done today but the staff let me sit there for an hour with no communication whatsoever and that is absolutely unacceptable. I was forced to hold my bodily fluids for an unacceptable period of time.
I have a benign superficial skin tag on the back of my left calf. It has been inspected by my primary care physician and there is nothing to worry about and said to leave it alone well Im fairly vain and I want to have it removed for cosmetic purposesI explored different options the dermatologist was looking to charge and just run a whole panel of tests and I wasnt looking to do that right now I just wanted this simple procedure doneSo I happened up behind the AFC website and lo and behold it said Skin Tag Removal As an offered service.Because This particular location in Powdersville is so close to my home I just popped in in mind you the lobby was completely empty besides an older couple who looked like they were on their way out. There were three women sitting at counter doing God knows what. Finally a female nurse perhaps? (she looked a little bit more practical than administrative) came over and I explained to her what I was looking to do and she said that they didnt do that there and I said the website says you do. Goes and leaves and comes back and says have your primary care call your dermatologist and I said Ive been through that never mind (And there was this smug white guy named Josh or Luke I dont think he was a doctor he was probably a PA or an NP but he had these X-small scrubs on to try and look jacked. I know this trick because I do it myself.)So anyway they just entirely dismissed me without even taking a look to see if it would be a quick easy procedure!Absolutely Useless lazy pathetic Service.I will use an example in closing As a very accurate comparison:You walk into Wendys and Look at the menu and you see a large fry. You say to the cashier Hi Id like a large fry. They respond with we dont have that. And then the assistant manager comes over And says Yes we do have those we just dont feel like serving them to you.Thats exactly how this played out today.
Ms Sharon was extremely helpful. Awesome customer service and she assisted me with what I needed. She deserves lunch on behalf of AFC
The triage nurse and the Dr were the best weve seen so far! Would love to see them every time.
I always have an issue with this AFC. Had to be admitted to the hospital the first time I ever used AFC a few years ago, because they said I didn’t have a UTI, when I in fact had a complicated UTI and they refused to give me meds. Few days later I ended up in Greenville Memorial because it traveled to my kidneys. Was seen about a week ago for a UTI and given antibiotics the FNP stated if the antibiotics did not work to reach back out so one of her colleagues can send me over a new prescription, because I had a strain that is resistant to antibiotics. Called today and was told I would have to be seen again to get a new script even though it was charted by the FNP that I may need a different antibiotic. Very money hungry. Please for your health go to MD360, Primary care, or ANYWHERE BUT HERE.
Upon arriving at the clinic, I was dismayed to find that my daughter was refused care by Patricia at the window due to the absence of her insurance card. This was surprising and frustrating, as we are frequent visitors and her information is usually on file. Despite my daughters condition of vomiting for two days, care was denied. I contacted Pelham Rd to seek clarification, and another staff member confirmed that Patricias refusal was unwarranted. I intend to escalate this issue to corporate for further investigation and resolution.
The staff and the doctor, Dr Roberts, were very knowledgeable and efficient. The clinic was clean and I was in and out quickly. I highly recommend this clinic.
My son needed a college physical done quickly, so we made an appointment at afc since hed had his sports physicals done here for $39 (they do not file insurance, which I understand) I made him an appointment the day before and we arrived early. I was surprised to learn that college physicals were $69 dollars. I would have left then but he was approaching a deadline and needed it done and I did not have time to schedule with our regular md. We got in our room pretty quickly, however even with our appointment made ended up waiting over an hour to see a physician. Doctor finally came in and did nothing differently than they did for his sports physical! Now months later I am getting a bill from them since it looks like they filed it under my insurance anyway!! I will now have to get on the phone and straighten this out which is super annoying!! I will never ever go back to this place.
They were so sweet to me yesterday! Got a work physical and TB test. These nice women at the front desk made the paperwork process easy on me. And Brandy was my nurse practitioner she was also very nice.
I took my granddaughter for sprained ankle and the rep said they do not have a xray tech on Sunday. Not a convenient facility to go to. I drove to Prisma Urgent care on 153 better equipped.
The staff was great. Mr Roberts, Mohoney, Celeste, Gwen, and Charlee were all very helpful. I would highly recommend
Clinical staffer Gary was excellent with my granddaughter!! Extremely kind to her. He listens to her explain how she feels. Explained very well the test he was about to give to her. The Lady at the front however was very rude!!!!!! She went as far as commenting on how much she thought I had aged by the looks of my drivers license photo!!! This lady should not work with the public!!
The wait was definitely over 1 hour 15 minutes. I was waiting for my son To3 be seen..They started turning people away at 6:00. And laughed at a lady who said she did not understand ... was sending people to easley when there was another urgent care right across the street. I dont think I will be back unless it is desperate measure.
Always a great experience at Powdersville AFC. I suspected strep throat tested and positive doctor prescribed antibiotics in and out quickly.
Fast, friendly, professional. Almost as good as the Chick-fil-a staff 😉
Was seen within 15 minutes of walking in and am very satisfied with the quick and courteous service at this urgent care facility. I am also very happy with the doctor and his diagnosis. I first went to Prisma Urgent care in Powdersville and waited over 3 1/2 hours without getting seen by a doctor. I have learned my lesson and will go to AFC the next time I need urgent care.
Don’t bother making an appointment! Watched 3 people walk out because after waiting up to 1.5 hours they said enough. This is the dirtiest clinic I’ve been in. All the nurses and staff sit around chatting while people in the waiting room can see them through the reception windows! Saw the “Best in the Upstate” sign…. If this is the best don’t want to see the worst!
The front desk ladies were very sweet and attentive. Had us back in under 15 min. Sure beats the hour and a half wait at the next closest urgent care. Gary was a very pleasant nurse to interact with
I am extremely pleased with my experience at the clinic for my drug test. The process was incredibly fast and efficient, and I felt confident that the results were accurate. Furthermore, I was impressed by how clean and organized the facility was; it made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Thank you to all of those involved in making this a positive experience!
The Lady Jennifer behind the front desk was definantly an unpleasant woman! When I am going to leave I ask a question in which she tells me to Google it. Great Customer Service!! The doctor I saw and x-ray technician were fabulous. Although I wont be back again just because she would be the first face I see. If you arent good at Customer Service why take a job doing so???
Man. I was really dreading the whole doctors visit process. This place was amazing. I was allowed to sit in my car while I waited. The receptionist were super cool and made it entertaining. The nurses and Doctor all had an amazing positive attitude and took the time to listen to what I had to say. They worked diligently through the large waiting room of people and still took time to make sure each person was treated superb!
Im so angry right now. Went in to get an URI taken care of. I was already having nosebleeds and horrible migraines. Dr. Roberts proceeded to give me a nasal spray which one of the side effects is nosebleeds and one is migraines. This morning my sinuses are pouring blood. Worse than when I went yesterday.Healthcare is a joke and Drs dont care about their patients. Simple as that.
I don’t usually write reviews let aloneBad ones. This place is the absolute worst. The ladies at the front are so rude. They wanted to collect my copay which is understandable. I explained to them that we’ve reach our out of pocket max and deductible for the year and we no longer have a copay anywhere until 1/1. I asked if I could get my insurance company on the phone so they would know and they said fine. I waited and got someone who told them the same thing and they refused to see my 7 year old who is clearly in pain because they said they still need to collect it and they can refund me. I mean why have me waste my time calling the insurance for them to tell you I don’t have a copay right now to still tell us no. When I told them I would just go up the street no problem the one girl yelled at me from the front desk is a very rude voice. I will never understand how some people have no compassion for others and literally just don’t care.
My visit was quick, the staff was very friendly and the facility was clean.
Asia was nice and efficient and professional and the check in hostess was pleasant as well. Very good all around experience for having to take a drug test
The front staff was welcoming, and the medical team was friendly and efficient!
My 12 year old had to get staples into her head after getting hurt while we were away. The staff was so helpful and friendly. She was very comfortable the entire time and even commented how nice everyone was to her. Highly recommend!
The facility is very nice and clean, our nurse Darling was so kind. My 3yr old needed to be checked for the flu and she was so gentle. She made my little boy feel comfortable and he said it wasn’t scary at all. We ended up seeing a nurse practitioner and we loved her too, she was so sweet and enthusiastic. My son was smiling the entire time, such a great experience. We will definitely come back for any short notice medical care we may need
Incredibly excessive wait times. Make sure you have an entire day to dedicate to sitting in the main lobby.
I was a walk in and was seen within just 10 minutes. Clean, friendly environment throughout facility. Nurse Practitioner was excellent and took her time to ask questions and effectively remedy my illness (sinus/ear infection). Highly recommend.
Shout out to Aylen and Josh for an amazing visit on 9/17. We scheduled online and had a short wait. My daughter is terrified on blood draws but Aylen made it quick and easy. Urgent Care visits can be hit or miss so I’m often nervous about what we’ll experience. They made our experience great!
Very quick and friendly people, will def chose this place over other urgent cares nearby
Waited over 2 hours for the a 5 minute treatment that consisted of the doctor telling my son to rest his back and take Ibuprofen for the pain. They did not file the bill on my insurance so I had to call and talk to their bill department (who speak broken English) and they said they would file it. I called back after 2 weeks and nothing has been filed and they have told me the same thing again. I will never come here again, even if I got excellent treatment due to the insurance headache.
I made an appointment for 10 and was not seen by a Dr until 12:30. I feel that is an unacceptable amount of time to wait after securing an appointment. I do know that walk-ins are available but I feel the people who prepare to be there should be seen before the people walking in. Maybe have more drs working on the weekend would help. I am grateful for the availability of being seen on the weekend and have had good experiences in the past. Urgent care is a good thing to have when you cant make it to your primary practitioner.
I was recently seen at AFC urgent care and have nothing but great things to say about them. I was seen in a timely manner and much quicker than the receptionist anticipated. Hannah Green was the NP who seen me and being a RN myself of over 30 years I had done a significant amount of research into my ailment and was well informed when I walked in. I had already narrowed it down to a couple different options and when I posed all my questions of why it’s not this or that, she answered everything honestly. She didn’t rush me, she treated me like a patient and not a client and I greatly appreciated that. It’s most unfortunate she can’t be my primary care as I don’t understand what the point is of a primary care provider when they can’t see you when you are sick; unless of course, you plan in advance, when a sudden illness or injury will occur and make an appointment in the future for that day. 😡 What angers me the most is the bill I will get from my insurance company for this urgent care visit will be much more than my office co-pays.
Me and my daughter went in, they said there was going to be about a 1hour +15 minute wait but we could wait outside and they would call us when we were next. We went and got some coffee and to the drugstore and came back, went inside and were called back within 5 minutes. The Dr was so nice, we tested positive with the flu and he suggested what he would do if it were his own daughter. He was very thorough and nice! Got our prescriptions wrote and we were out the door. Will definitely go again but will try the online check in method next time!
Such a great experience here! It did take a while to be seen but the doctor took his time with our 1 year old & I asked if someone would be kind enough to watch her so I could use the restroom & the doctor did for me! I was blown away with his kindness!! Jason Gosnell, DO. The rest of the staff was kind, also!
Had an appointment for 12:20, by 1:15 they hadn’t seen us or even took my copay, I asked for my insurance and ID card back and we left. I went home and scheduled a virtual visit for 7pm. They never called or texted saying the appointment was ready and it’s after 8pm. When I called and asked why I wasn’t receiving text messages she couldn’t tell me but she did verify that they had the correct number. No resolution to the issue. My sick child was not seen after two different appointments that they missed. Absolutely worst experience I’ve had with them.
Staff was friendly and my X-Ray was quick and on-site. I found Dr. Gosnell to be engaging, focused, honest and very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to utilize this facility for my Urgent Care.
I had a great experience with Dr Gosnell. He was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. The receptionist in Greenwood helped me reach them because I found out he was at a different place. She helped me set up my appointment to do a video call with the location. She was very friendly and caring. Not many receptionist are too friendly now days so this made the experience amazing.Dr Gosnell is a wonderful doctor. . I wish he could be at the Greenwood office because it is closer to where I live. I highly recommend AfC to everyone.
Staff was great taking us at the last minute when they were about to close. We were turned away by two urgent care facilities earlier in Clemson. So thankful for the folks in Powdersville- Alexis, Sharon, Jennifer, Bre, and, of course, Jason Gosnell!
Went in on a Saturday afternoon and would not give me meds for a UTI said I had to wait till culture came back. It is now Wednesday and they still have yet to contact me and I’ve called every day
I came in with three issues. Jammed finger and an infection in my pinky toe. I was also feeling a little under the weather with a sore throat. I was told to pick what I wanted to be see for. When do you go to the doctor and have to pick what you want to be see for?Don’t come here! I won’t be back! Also heard the doctor talking trash about me with the nurse outside the door. So unprofessional!
They do not practice urgency nor do they care about you. I sat in the waiting room for an hour and half, which is not the problem, I sat there watching numerous other patients that had got there AFTER me, come and go. They cleared out an entire waiting room while I sat there watching everyone come and go. Not very urgent or careful if ask me.
This was the easiest visit I’ve ever had at an urgent care center! The facility was clean, checkin and paperwork were very easy, my wait time was less than 10 minutes! Dr. Roberts was wonderful, and explained everything very clearly and was patient in answering all my questions!
Scheduled appointment the night before. Appointment was a couple of minutes behind but nothing crazy. Dr was friendly and helpful. Dr took the time to listen and answer my questions. I had a prescription sent in during the appointment. I always go here. My experience is always positive. Returned later and they removed my sons stitches. The doctor was quick, friendly, and efficient. I was out within an hour of coming through the front door. The doctor was also very quick to get me discharge papers and a school note. This is still my favorite urgent care!
Immediately walking in I was greeted with warm welcomes. The front desk receptionist knew exactly what I need to get done and the process was quick and easy. The nurses were very polite and friendly and the environment of the building was peaceful, clean and had a nice office smell. Definitely enjoyed getting the work I need done in a pleasantly and timely manner. 5 stars completely
The doctor was very thorough and asked all of the appropriate questions plus some. She was awesome to not overmedicate and gave me recommendations of what to do next of the medicine she called in didn’t work. We have been to the pediatrician twice recently for my son and wish we had seen a this Dr first and we would be well by now.
The doctor was amazing , really only complaint is waiting to be call back. I knew it was a long wait but after four people went back that came in after us. I went and ask yes two more are in front of you. Ok well four more went so then I ask again. Then one more went back, so yes that was very stressful. But then again the Doctor was amazing.
I made an appointment 2 hours in advance. I got there 30 mins early. I waited 50 mins and still wasnt even taken to a room yet. The scheduling is inaccurate and slow. Nurses were sitting on their phones. Clearly, patient discomfort is not a concern here.
My mother had an appointment at 2pm. We arrived at 1:45, like asked to complete paperwork. She has still not been seen and its 2:54pm. I went to the desk to ask how much longer the wait would be and was greeted by an employee who acted like she hated her job. I was then told 2 more people were still ahead of her. People that came as walk-ins are being seen before scheduled appointments. I question, why take appointments if you can be seen as a walk in sooner? This doesnt make any sense. I am sure we will never return here unless forced somehow to do so! Absolute worse urgent care patient care Ive ever experienced!
The front and back staff were professional. My wait time was under 10 minutes. There was several staff available. It is a . For the sick location so covid and mask protocol were present.
They were very fast knowledgeable and polite I had a young Caucasian nurse and even though I dont remember her name she did my urinalysis for employment for Michelin. She made the experience less uncomfortable and had a great sense of humor. Thanks guys
Wait time was not long at all!! The Dr and nurse were wonderful!! They were both thoughtful, thorough, compassionate and informative!!
If there was an option for no stars thats exactly what Id pick!! Made my son a 3:00 appt online so that we wouldnt have to wait forever. Well, I had to call out of work bc we sat in waiting room an hour! Then over an hour in the back waiting on a doctor! They didnt care about my son! Rude staff when asked why its taking so long for an appt but walk ins were coming in and out! Being the only white ppl here Im sure thats why we was neglected by staff but thats ok 👍 Ill file a report! Maybe even contact my lawyer about this 🤷♀️
Everyone there was friendly and professional, also they were very fast getting to me. The receptionist also advised me to reach out to my prospective employer to make sure what panel drug test they required to prevent me from having to come back.
I was very pleased with the staff and Doctorat AFC !In and it a timely manner!i do recommend this office if you need urgentcare!! on the downside i did have a reactionto my flu shot!! first time i have ever had aproblem!!! Thirty years i got my vaccine at GMH!swollen, red hot to the touch!itching an pain in my arm! ??Do not know whathappened!!Dr Dorian Mann was great!!!!
Every single one of the staff were absolutely superb professionals. Keep up the great work GRATITUDE.
Im disappointed in this office. I have used AFC for all my employee screens, physicals etc and been in and out quickly. Today however I have been waiting almost 2 hours for a drug screen and DOT physical. Another man also has been waiting almost as long as me.
I had a very pleasant visit. The nurses are very helpful and pleasant to talk with. Miss Haley was very polite and a pleasure to talk to, she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. So it made my visit great. I will use this place again and recommend it to everyone! Thank you!! Brian
So I set up a appointment for 5 oclock so I wouldnt have to be waiting. It was about 6:40 before I was ever seen. If you are going for your dot it might be best not to do it there. On my appointment I told them the three things I needed to do and they only did two. I had to wait for the other and didnt get out till about 8 and was the last one there!
They were friendly and quick. I asked them if I could be seen quickly, due to the services I needed, and they were able to accommodated my request. The facility was very clean and organized. This is my family’s first stop when needing medical assistance, if not an emergency. I highly recommend this AFC Urgent Care Facility to anyone in the vicinity not needing a hospital.
Had a virtual visit 6 days ago. All tests were negative and the provider called in allergy medications. I was instructed to call if I didnt get better. I did that and was told Id have to have another visit to be tested again. I mean, sounds like a money racket to me. Provider was nice enough but the folks answering the phones should take a course on etiquette and common courtesy
It was a very busy day for everyone. Everything was done in a very professional manner. Everyone had to wait their turn which is trying at times but fair. I got my x-ray and a PA or NP came right along to tell me what they found. The only issue that I had was it was difficult to walk my foot hurts so badly. One nurse offered me a ride in a wheelchair which made a world of difference. Everyone else just ignored my hobbling with no offer for assistance in any manner. If I would change anything it would be that they be more aware more present to the pain and the people are feeling as they come in there.
I was seen right away. All necessary X-ray s were done and the Dr followed up quickly. Highly recommend for urgent care.
This was the easiest experience ive had with any urgent care. I set up my appt on line. Within 10 minutes i received a call to go over my registration and symptoms. After that call within 10 minutes the doctor called, reviewed my reasons for the appt, symptoms and throughly went over everything with me. My medication after that appt showed up in process at my pharmacist within minutes. So thankful for the great experience and quick follow up
My telehealth visit was as good as it gets…being that I was sick and needed to address my issues quickly! AFC Urgent Care Powdersville was efficient, timely, and addressed all my issues! The staff and physicians are always very kind and helpful!
I called ahead and got my appointment. They then sent a link to register on line . Registration on line was very simple. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment I had a very short wait in the waiting room. After I was called back the Dr was was in my room in maybe 10 minutes. He theroly went over everything I was there for without making it feel rushed .
Everyone in the office were very helpful. The Nusre and Dr took time to diagnose my needs and prescribe medication. I am already feeling better today, and still taking all my meds .Great Experience 👍
Darlin was my Nurse. She is very professional and made me feel comfortable during my visit. This is my third time gettin a DOT physical at this location and she has always been very kind. She has a great sense of humor to which helps easy any anxiety. Everyone here is very kind and have made my experience very easy.
Im grateful for the staff and doctors who work weekends to care for the sick! AFC is much more affordable than an emergency room visit at any hospital with quick turn times and the staff and doctors have compassion for their patients.
I was struggling to find a Covid test in the upstate and I called and was schedule in less than an hour! The staff were so helpful, understanding, and friendly. I talked to Darling and Katie on the phone to get all my information and it was so easy! Not to mention darling got my results back to me in less than 5 minutes and I didn’t have to leave my car. The Nurse practitioner was amazing in giving me all the information for quarantine and ways to get a speedy recovery! Thank you guys so much!
Had a televisit, the team was quick to book and issue prescriptions. Whenever i have unexpected illnesses this urgent care is my go-to. Friendly and helpful staff, hard working and a great all around resource.
Me and my daughter really liked the doctor (or PA, Im not really sure) that we saw. She was very knowledgeable and mentioned some things I hadnt even thought about, my daughter could be dehydrated for example. It was a great experience!
It was a little wait but well worth it.
First time using AFC. I doubt I will use them again. Had a telehealth visit for myself and my son at 3:30 & 4pm yesterday 9/5. Doctor didnt get on the call until 4:30pm as was told they were running behind. Then had to request the doctor honor work and school notes that they advised of while at the location today. They are cordial when you enter the door, I wouldnt say friendly. They do not take a liking to being corrected about a mistake as their tonality changes completely. I probably wont use them as an urgent care again unless its absolutely necessary.
Staff was very unprofessional, disrespectful and disregarded my NEEDS. I was supposed to get a call back as well to actually get prescribe for my infection. Never was called back or treated for what i went in for! I went to simpsonville DR Care instead! Very good, listened to me and took care of me. I’ll make the 45min drive instead of the 2min any day!
Very prompt and well informed. However, upon receiving a positive result in a Covid test, the only information I received from them was the sheet showing positive. No other information was provided as to quarantine time, symptoms, self care, etc. Have had previous visits with them before but they were always more thorough with their aftercare.
AFC got me a virtual visit and a test with results in 30 minutes, I have family that are still waiting on test results from drive through and all the at home tests are gone. Great job all around, stay healthy. I tested positive for Covid and had 103 degree fever and I AM fully vaccinated since May 2021. Be careful! Omicron is no joke! I had been exposed to all other variants and didn’t get sick before now.
Great staff. Very helpful and caring. Answered the questions that I had and although I did not get the results I hoped for, I appreciate their help and professionalism. They also provided fast service. Virtual visit was quick and availability for testing was almost immediate!
Wouldn’t allow me to leave 0. I got in with an ENT next day I had severe infection in my sinus cavities gave me antibiotics. Your office said I didn’t have the flu and said it was viral, how would they know. I am from out of state from Ian storm. Allowed me to leave there without any kind of antibiotics. I was suffering received no help from your office. Sad situation waste of trip and my time and then bill my insurance. Never ever would I recommend this office to anyone.Daveen
This was the worse experience I have had with a doctors office. The doctor or practioner that I spoke with was absolutely no help at all. I came to them for help regarding severe congestion nasal and chest and was told to come in for a covid test of which I had already taken 2 test which were negative. She then told me if I did not have covid she would prescribe nothing for my colored mucus congestion and sinus. She told me if I got to the point I felt I couldnt breathe, then go to the emergency room. She wanted me to come down for an additional covid and a flu test. Seems like just a way for them to extract more money from me and my insurance. They are totally useless. My wife had a very similar experience with them months ago. I dont know why I thought my experience would be any better. I will not be back.
Very friendly from the initial phone call. I called to see about wait time and Katie was very nice and helpful. Answered all of my questions. When we entered the facility, Ms. Katie was waiting with a smile. She was extremely efficient and kind. Within moments, we were being triaged by two nurses, (Darling and Mohoney). They were very caring and friendly to us. They offered a very welcoming environment to my daughter. They showed concern and were very attentive to her situation. Provider was attentive and information was relayed in a language to understand. Overall, 5 stars all the way around.
After arriving and no one being in the waiting area we were told we would have to wait for a hour and a half before being seen because of appointments that had already been made. After waiting for a hour and over hearing their xray tech was not in office and 3 people had left the back where the Drs is but no one else was called back we decided to just leave. I dont think they should stress its a walk in clinic if they dont want to see walk ins for hours later. Pretty much just like waiting in the er and not getting seen. We usually have a good experience with AFC but it seems since they have changed for covid its horrible trying to get seen on the same day.
D is the best. She did an excellent job swabbing my son for Covid and strep. This is the first time EVER my son did it freak out and gag severely. She is very nice and made us feel very comfortable. Unfortunately we have been here a lot due to having 7 kids during this pandemic and she is the best I have ever seen that does these testing s! She needs a raise!! Thank you so much D!
Your staff is very professional and I really like the service I was provided with. A big thanks to all of you.
No problem checking in. Checked in at 8 am didnt get called back for 2 hours and twenty minutes! I heard someone say he is not here yet, he better hurry up. There was no communication about what was happening. Unfortunately, I do not have a choice about where I get my DOT physical! I would not choose here, peoples time is important!
After MD360 turned me away when I got there 30 mins before they closed. I went to AFC and they took me right away, flushed my ear and I was in my way home. They were all professional and kind. I will always go to AFC for any urgent care from now on.
Darling took care of me today and she was great! She was very professional, and because of her I probably won’t visit another urgent care. I was calling earlier and I was hung up on twice and it was some lady that was very rude. Luckily when I got here I had a much better experience with Darling. I believe she needs some sort of incentive for all the hard work she does! 😊 Such a sweet lady!
Our regular dr was unavailable for a visit so I had to bring my LO due to a random fever. The staff was so courteous and knowledgeable. They diagnosed an ear infection & got her what she needed to get feeling better. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. Great service & very caring staff.
Darling was amazing caring and so patient informative all around great medical assistant I could not had a better visit. I am very picking growing up with a mom as a Rn and my sis is one too I seem to be a bad patient. Please let her know how amazing she is!!!!
Wait time wasnt too bad. was told id be given a inhaler for the coughing flair ups but didnt. but i could tell the doctors wanted to get me and everyone else in and out but now my respiratory infection is worse even while still taking medication that i was told to take.
I made an appointment for an x-ray for 10am. I wrote on my intake form that I needed an x-ray. I wasnt informed that the x-ray tech comes in at 2p until I waited for 30 minutes. I was then told that the receptionist told me that there was no x-ray tech until 2p. I will never use this location again.
Appointments are pointless. Pts were called back first come. Arrived at confirmed appt time & waited over an hour before taken to exam room. 3 others in waiting room said they quit making online appts because times are ignored. Dr. Was good. Why are appts. Offered when not observed?
Yes the wait was a little long, but they had a million flu victims they were taking care of. When I went back it was very thorough and professional. The receptionist was friendly and efficient. The nurse was first, then the nurse practitioner, and finally the x-ray technician, then back to the nurse practitioner. If my shoulder and thigh had not hurt so much, I could say it was an enjoyable experience.
I wasnt feeling well and so I scheduled a telehealth appointment for 11:33 AM this morning. They saw me an HOUR before my scheduled time! They called me immediately after I made the appointment to get some info on the symptoms I was experiencing and my medical history so that the doctor would be prepared when he saw me. The doctor was very kind and didnt make it seem like he was trying to rush through the appointment. On the other hand, I scheduled a 10 AM telehealth appointment at the Easley location but ended up canceling it. They didnt text or call me to do the aforementioned screening like this location did and they were a half an hour late. This location is great! Highly recommend!-----UPDATE 10/16/22: I have a really bad sore throat today and I had a telehealth appointment scheduled for 12:37 PM. I have yet to be seen. At least tell me in advance that youre running behind! So frustrating.
This clinic was amazing. When there’s so many Covid cases they had everything running smoothly. That came in with a possible broken finger and nurse practitioner was wonderful, nurses were great, and the environment was wonderful as well. Thank you for all the hard work you do and being such a caring place
Very kind nurses and doctors here! I have been several times for myself and for my children and they are always nice and patient and helpful no matter what the need! We make appointments online and we have quick timely visits every time. High recommend!
Very prompt and professional! Dr was very thorough and took his time to explain everything to me! I would highly recommend the Dr as he had a great bedside manner and was very easy to talk to! I will definitely seek his services again!
Was able to make an appointment super easy online. Once I got there the weight was really short got in pretty fast.Gary was super nice.
Walked in and was greeted by a friendly receptionist (rare these days) waited only few minutes and was seen by awesome PA. Only took half hour total and was out the door. Everyone was very nice.
This is not my first visit. Both times have been great. The wait was not unreasonable for the season and time of day. If that is a concern to you, I suggest checking in online to save time. I went in with a sinus infection, picked up the medication, and felt better 2 hours later. SO worth it to be able to sleep better and function at work.
Extremely courteous and helpful staff. I was having trouble with communication in my company that the staff at AFC was able to clear up. Doctor (Flo)Rida and First Nurse who conducted my DOT physical were more like old friends than Medical Staff.Thank you Again - Colin
Very friendly and professional staff. Was in and out in no time. Thank you and God bless!
Horribly inefficient. I walked out after a 50 minute wait on Sunday morning. All I needed was a prescription for antibiotics, which should take a matter of minutes. And the waiting room would have been quickly cleared because that is all the other patients wanted...a script for meds. Instead, they kept sick kids and adults waiting an hour for a simple prescription. Sadistic.
I brought my 93-year-old mother in on July 4 due to ear and hearing problems. It was so convenient to be able to schedule the appointment ahead! The staff were all very friendly, efficient and helpful! We especially appreciated the care and compassion provided by Connie, the nurse practitioner who treated my mom! She was very thorough, and was warm and welcoming to my mom which eased some of her anxiety! I would recommend this practice to anyone who needs urgent care services!
The entire staff at the Powdersville office was pleasant and professional at all times . I will use this office in the future . Amanda patiently explained every step of my procedure and answered all of my inquiries. Her tone was kind and respectful:))
Professional and friendly staff. Joshua Roberts, FNP and Mohoney Gilliam were phenomenal!
I used to love this doctors office because of the convenience, but then today I found out they no longer accept poor people...aka People with kids on Medicaid that they deem to be poor people... I guess they partnered together with a hospital or something?... Oh well dirty poor people on Medicaid youre no longer allowed to go here unless you pay nearly $140.... Just to be told you or your kid has the sniffles... Business is going to tank... Especially since more and more middle class people are winding up on Medicaid...
I went in for an employment drug screening and the receptionist advised there was no one ahead of me for that type of service therefore I should not have to wait long. I waited for over 2 hours and needed to continuously check in with the front desk. I DO NOT recommend this place.
Set appointment for my son at 6:57am for 2:30pm, arrived at 1:45pm and waited over 1.5hrs to be seen. The receptionist didnt even put my childs chart in call box for over an hour. I was told that it was walk-in only, that the appointment didnt matter. What is the point of text alerts and setting appointments through the site if the front counter doesnt use that as a place in line before you arrive?
The staff was very friendly both on the phone as well as the nurse that performed the test. The provider was able to log on an hour prior to my scheduled appointment which is always a bonus. Excellent service start to finish!
I could not see my family doctor due to timing and needed to be checked out, so decided to try AFC. I checked in online and reserved an appointment time during the process. The process when I arrived was smooth, as I had to fill out the standard paperwork and only waited for a short time. Feeling much better as my issue was resolved! Would highly recommend to give them a try. Everyone was professional and courteous.
The staff was phenominal. The Doctor and nurse were very attentive and went above and beyond! I was treated with respect and all was done in a timely manner!
Beware! I was told 2 times by phone back in October that my covid test would be free. I would not have went to this facility otherwise. They billed my insurance $550 for a swab of my nose in the back alley of AFC. I didnt even go inside. Was told I was positive and nurse walked off. No instruction as to what I should do or anything. Now Im getting a bill for nearly $200 personally. I would not have went for the test at this place had I not been told it was a free test. Ive called several times and emailed trying to get this resolved and keep getting told that it wasnt free. It doesnt matter what I was told. Just wanted people to be aware of this.
I have nothing but good things to say about the AFC Urgent Care in Powdersville (Easley SC). The front end Staff was professional and the nurse and doctor was definitely on top of their game. Dr Delfino prescribed me the exact medication that was good for me. Ironically he gave me the exact meds that my regular doctor had given me. I never told him either. He knew exactly what to do being that it was urgent for me to get medical attention on this Sunday. I was a sick person. Putting my well being in the care of the AFC Urgent Care and my foremost care in my High God, I’m doing much better today. Also thanks to my daughter and son n law for making me go to that particular one. If you are sick and in need of urgent medical attention, go there. Proudly Submitting, Mrs. Latimer -Blake
If I could leave zero stars I would. I was told to check in online by the lady at the front. I sat down and went through the online process and checked myself in. Got a text that I was check in to wait to be called. Sat there for over an hour watching people go in before me that had gotten there after me. I finally asked what the deal was and the same lady told me that text meant nothing that I wasn’t checked in and that she hadn’t received any of my info and that the online system (that she told me to use) doesn’t always work. I asked why she allowed me to sit there and not say anything and she didn’t have a response. She told me she would check me in. I got taken back. No one ever even took my temperature despite being told I have Covid and flu like symptoms and felt feverish. The nurse or whatever she was that took my flu test and COVID test just carried the Q tips out of the my room, uncovered and not placed in any kind of tube or anything and she carried them down the hall. Then the doctor came in and worked so quickly I’m not sure how she could even come up with a proper diagnosis. She told me I just had the common cold so go home and self treat. A week later I was still very sick, had gotten worse, could barely breathe, infection had spread. I went back to a different doctor to find out I had a double ear infection, tested for strep, severe upper respiratory infection, I had to get a steroid shot and a z pack and cough medicine. I realized at the next doctor I didn’t have my ID card. I called back to this establishment to see if they had it and they had my ID. So for almost two weeks they had my ID had not reached out to me.
The staff is always very kind and thorough. The doctor was very dedicated. It just took quite a while for me to get in this time but I do recommend it. Thank you Teresa
Joshua Roberts is the worst doctor I’ve ever met. That is a businessman wearing a doctor’s badge. He would direct you to take all the test the clinic has since he can’t make diagnosis without tests. And then, when the test are negative, he would tell you that tests are sensitive only for 90%. So there is a 10% of possible mistake and would give you empirical antibiotic treatment on those 10% because he suggests maybe the you have the infection🙆♀️. Stay away from that unprofessional “doctor” with nurse level accountability!
Virtual visits were professional and on time. Day 1 virtual visit to get tested. Day 2 virtual visit to ask for a z-pack. NP was very knowledgeable and called me in 3 medications. Feeling so much better due the great service and timely response! A+ health care.
We use AFC because of their staff over even our regular care providers! They have always been above average for bedside manors and overall care with their patients. Always very thorough and very caring. They have stayed late to care for my son with a phone call we were on our way. Always fast service. They take the stress of waiting out of the equation and focus on getting your family feeling better.
Waited for 1 hour before being called to the back. Then another hour in the back waiting for the doctor to see me. Multiple times was told they were busy but there were only 5 of us there when I came. And they were unapologetic and rude. This was absolutely ridiculous. I was there for 2.5 hours total for a simple physical and drug screen for a new job.
It was good but it took over 24 hours to get my prescription. No one call to inform me that the pharmacy was out of the medicine fir over 2hrs plus I call the pharmacy then had to call afc right at closing and was told they would transfer to another pharmacy 30 min I call they had no prescription. Next monring no prescription 1hr later went to the pharmacy found out they was out of the meds. Finally we had to go to Easley. If there was someone who would call or text to let you no when the pharmacy is out and ones the pharmacy contact the doctor the should contact patients to see what other pharmacy has so we dont have to run for pharmacy to pharmacy. Just a thought.
My son and I waited in lobby because he has the flu and had to get a mask for 1 hour then little girl and mother comes in after him and I see that the wait time on the screen for me and my son is moved back and the little girls name replace his which pushed our wait back further. After a few moments the little girl is called up to get a mask just like my son. So this appears they are having same issue with flu because it’s been passed around like crazy. We continue to wait then the little girl is called back before my son. I am very upset with my mom being in health care and a nurse all her career I know when it is appropriate to have an ER patient move up because of reason they are there or not and in this circumstance it appeared they had same issue the flu. The little girl was not short of breath non responsive or bleeding all over the place why was she seen before my son. I was disappointed I sat in the lobby and watch people sit there who didn’t appear sick at all and my son looks miserable and they didn’t move him up. After we left the issue was reviewed by management. They were very good with following up with me about what happened and ensuring they will resolve the issue in future. The doctor and the nurses were amazing though so that has allowed me to regain faith in the office. As long as they fix that one issue they will be PERFECT .
I checked in at AFC and I had over an hour wait. I was able to give them my cell number and leave until my appointment time. The nurse was very sweet. The PA was very professional and listened to my concerns. Would definitely recommend.
They don’t accurately keep copy of medical records. My son had a physical there two months ago. I needed a copy and it was never loaded in their system for a copy.I called and was told over the phone they had it and to come by. Got there no one knew who or what I was talking about
VERY CLEAN Office. Friendly & helpful staff. They have always taken excellent care of me. They Listen to what I know about my body medically. I have RA & lupus. They take my symptoms & factor disease into diagnosis.I really like them.
I am here right now and the woman is still holding onto my ID. Her name is Tiara.I only gave it to her so she could get the information she needs off.
The staff is absolutely wonderful but it’s ridiculous to reschedule someone’s appointment that has been scheduled for days by hours without even talking to them. Essentially, don’t allow an appointment option if you’re not going to actually use the appointments booked. I would have expected this and prepared for it if I went to a walk in ONLY clinic, but I thought an appointment meant you were scheduled, not you’re scheduled unless it’s inconvenient. I made an appointment around my work schedule and now I can’t even go to the appointment. People have real medical issues, which is why they are going to the doctors. If you’re going to allow people to make appointments, don’t reschedule them WITHOUT even asking. I understand everywhere is understaffed right now, but don’t advertise the ability to make appointments like it will be convenient just to leave people completely screwed when you rearrange things.
Despite being there for 2 hours (which is understandable during this Covid problem) my experience was very good. The physician I saw was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The two receptionist were really kicking butt. The only issues I had was with my blood draw. This had to have been her first blood draw. Ive had many many blood draws in my life, and this was the first time I was ever worried the needle was going to go straight through my arm while she changed to the next vile. I almost passed out, not from the blood loss, but from the pain and fear I felt. Afterwards, I just wanted to get out of there. The nurse did a great job on everything else. But she definitely needs much more training before she does another blood draw.
Kayla and Joshua were so great! They were patient and made me feel very comfortable during my procedure . I definitely recommend going here !
Mohoney the nurse and Betsy the nurse practitioner were the best! I didn’t feel the stick when she collected my blood samples and Betsy was very attentive and concerned. Awesome staff all around❤️
Very nice staff, efficient. I called them back to request a change the pharmacy as there was a shortage. They went the extra mile and found a pharmacy close by that would fill the prescription. Great place!
The staff was friendly but the Dr. wasnt even in the room for 5 minutes and spoke too fast. I feel like it was a waste of my money. The doctor needs to use more patient friendly words. I understand it is an urgent care but take a little more time with your patients we are still paying for it.
I have been to this location several times because I have three kids. We usually have a wonderful experience with the most caring, compassionate staff but today was not one of them. Today we were there because my eleven year old was very sick and his regular doctor couldn’t get him in today. When my son was called to the back the nurse never greeted us, never spoke to myself or my son. Just said “do u know how tall you are?” “Get on the scale!”When being placed in a room she asked why we were there today. She never once looked at my son or myself in the eye. My son is eleven most nurses explain everything to a child to make them feel comfortable not this nurse or CNA. Even when doing a swab for Covid and the flu she didn’t go anything. She made me feel how dare I bring a sick child here. No compassion or care whatsoever. Even when my son felt sick; went to the bathroom to vomit and I was waiting in the hall outside the door for my son. She saw me and said “ can I help you?” When my son walked out of the restroom she never asked him are you ok do you need anything. I completely understand if your having a bad day but you work in an industry where you must show some compassion and care. The nurse practitioner was great and so was the lady who checked us in and out. So my best advice is if you get a nurse or CNA with tattoos all over her arm and hands ask for a different nurse or be ready to be treated like your a burden…
The best part was getting quick results! The provider administering the test was nice and professional. She gave me recommendations for caring for myself and told me to call back if me symptoms did not improve.
Absolute worst doctors office ever. Unhelpful, cheat you out your time and money, and the loopholes you have to jump through just to be seen or talk to anyone on the phone are ridiculous. The doctor was obviously just trying to get patients on through as quick as possible and has very little concern for her patients issues. Nurse scratched my arm with the needle (accidentally of course). Blood work took a week and a half to come back and I had to basically play phone tag bc even after the doctor left a message saying they were calling with my results, when I called the office they tried telling me they werent back yet again. Terrible experience. Would only recommend if there are no other medical options. CVS could probably do better.
Very friendly!! Very thorough!! Quick and easy check-in process. I was actually amazed at how convenient my visit was. The nurses were great!! The ones at the front desk were very nice and the Practitioner was amazing. Really wish this was my family drs. Office lol.
Had a cold this week with congestion. Filled out forms for a televisit. My appointment was at 1:20. At 1:30 I called because I still had not heard from them, was told they were running behind and I would be contacted shortly..... got a missed call at 3 pm. I didn’t see it until 4 when I called back. They were very rude to me and told me that I missed my appointment. Mind you, it was only the nurse to get general info and collect my money. That was the call I missed. She told me I could sign up for another appointment. I hung up and went back online but there was no more appointments for the day. Very disappointed. Ended up going to cvs minute clinic and got seen and also got antibiotics for my ear infection.I understand running late but when you get a call almost 2 hrs after your initial appointment, that is just unacceptable. I will never even try to go back.
They were fast getting us in and checking us all out. The physician did an amazing job telling me what my next steps should be after care and the check out process was fast as well.
This place is a scam!!! I call made appointment for Covid test. When I arived I called to check in like I was told. I was told on the phone I was in the wrong place and should be in the back parking lot. When I parked in the back a nurse came to the car. She immediately became rude! She said I had no appointment and I was not on her list. I told her I had made the appointment and had called to check in. She toldme to wait and she would check and she went inside. She came back out told me she had checked and I had no appointment and I should call and make one. then i was told to leave that I was in the way! Rudely. Now I get a bill for $236.00 A year and a half later!! All I can say is these people are rude!! They are completely unorganized!!!!
Went to this place because I had a abscess tooth. The Provider what ever thats supposed to mean stood and stated, Yes we must get you a antibiotic tonight as to keep your face from doubling in size.It was 7:45 when I left paid my $136.00 andSHE DIDNT CALL IT IN !!!!They closed at 8pm no one to call!It was 1:30 pm the next day before I got meds!Ill never go back and will recommend nobody that needs to be seen by professionals go there.
Desk staff is very friendly. Fastest I have ever been in and out of a doctors office. Doctor was very nice and professional, gave excellent advice and options for treatment. All the 5 stars dont lie. Also... TVs in all the rooms :-)
No point in checking in online or “reserving your spot”. Did this at the recommendation of the front desk when I called them and still never got seen after 2 hours waiting in the office.
Michaela the receptionist was so kind upon my arrival and attentive to my needs. She provided a warm welcome and a smile while I waited to see the provider. Betsy was great! Will be returning.
Its my first visit and I must say i am pleased, from the receptionist, nurse aid to the doctor was pleasant and attentive. It was a good experience for my first visit so I definitely go back if any sick situation arises . Also would recommend them to others, thanks much.
Very nice staff but, zero follow through. 72 hour wait for lab results is not sitting at 7 days. Left multiple messages with no response and they will not answer the phones.
The wait times can be a little long, but its an urgent care center, so it happens. Dr. Trina is fantastic; she was kind and very through about explaining diagnosis and treatment. Everyone I spoke to was caring and helpful. Awesome job, guys. (:
I went there yesterday for the first time. They do take people that just walk in and people with appointments. I suggest you make an appointment. I was really impressed with the service and professionalism as well as the cleanliness. The doctor actually took time and listened too me. Finally I think I found a home
One star, because they cant send you the bill for you to pay and when you have to be seen by a Dr you get turned away even though its their fault that they are behind on sending out bills according to what the front desk receptionist said. Quite frankly I think they make up the rules about who can and who cant be seen as they go, because the same thing happened to my wife when she took my son to be seen when he was have slight difficulty breathing due to his asthma and he is also severely allergic to nuts and shell fish they wouldnt see him because there was a balance owed from where they havent sent out the bills yet because they were so for behind in doing so is exactly what she said. First of all my son is on Medicaid and my wife is on my work insurance which is two entirely different insurance companies. What does her balance have to do with whether he can be seen or not?!?! I dont have a problem with paying my bills but when they dont send you one, you tell me how Im supposed to pay it!! Now you tell me how screwed up is that and how BIASED that is!! Dont get me wrong in the past the Drs care has been absolutely WONDERFUL but as far as the billing and management over the billing, well they absolutely suck and is very unorganized to be a professional medical clinic! They need to get it together! I was seen in January and in March and have NOT received a bill via mail for either visit! My wife was seen in October of 2018 and we have still yet to see a bill for that as well! I sat in there waiting room after I signed in and filled out the paperwork for 40 minutes before I was told that I even had a balance that had to be paid before I could be seen, some people dont just have money laying around that they can pay a bill in an instant with! I will pay my bill but, I will go elsewhere for now on and I would suggest that you do the same! Hopefully this was helpful! Have a nice day!
I wish I could give zero stars! I will never go back here nor recommend this place to anyone. I seen a NP and she literally walked in the room, threw her arms up before asking me what I needed to be seen for and said I cant help you. She then preceded to tell me that no one would be able to help me! I was so baffled. She is very rude and unprofessional. She definitely shouldnt be practicing medicine. I left this office and went to another place and they actually helped me! This place is horrible. The two receptionist are not professional either! They sat upfront giggling and making jokes about patients. I will be contacting the cooperate office.
The nurses and doctor were working so hard to get to everyone as quickly as possible. I didn’t have to wait nearly as long as I thought I would and they got me seen and my prescription filled the same night
My visit with Urgent Care was for a DOT physical for my job. From the receptionist to the ladies that gave me my physical were very friendly and professional. My husband and I have been there for our personal care a few times and will go again. They do a great job there.
Was seen quickly. Told the doc my symptoms. They ran the flu test on me quickly. Prescribed me tamiflu, antibiotics, and cough medicine. My visit was quick and accurate. I love this Irgent care above all other urgent care. The staff are friendly and the doctors are great!
Pre-registered on my phone. Got taken back about 10 minutes after my scheduled time. Was seen and on my way 15 minutes later. More efficient than most primary cares.👍
I was seen pretty promptly, every staff member was caring and friendly, I got the answers I needed quickly and efficiently
I never post reviews but this place was awful enough for me to post one. The woman got irate with me when I was asking for my own papers back after I was finished with my appointment. She was very rude and VERY unprofessional. She made a scene in front of everyone in the lobby. I would not by any means call these people medical professionals. Don’t waste your time or money at this place.
Everyone was friendly and nice. My 7 year old was seen in a timely manner and got thorough professional care from all staff. I hope we don’t need their services again ( we stay well) but if we do we will return to AFC.
Great service and very friendly staff (except the receptionist). However, only 1 star because after the treatment and my co-payment, they send an outrageous bill. I have a good health insurance plan, yet AFC charged me over $200 out of pocket for a doctor to tell me that there is nothing broken and a prescription for a pain killer. I will NEVER visit this place again. MD360 is nearby and I have never had a bad experience there.
Took great care of me when I recently came in with the flu. It’s always nice to see medical professionals that clearly care deeply about the health of their patients. Clean facility and easy (albeit long) experience.
I made an appointment, and apparently, that doesn’t mean anything. I still had to wait over 2 hours to be seen for a 5 minute sports physical. I assumed that making an appointment would be similar to call ahead seating at a restaurant, but it didn’t mean anything. We were seen in the order in which we arrived.
The staff was excellentBut the so called whatever she was ! Nurse practitioner or Physician assistant but most certainly not a doctor. Was as incompetent as it gets When she said the book said my spot on my knee was Arthritis ?? The spot on my knee where I fell on concrete just that week Is not arthritis. I won’t be back. And I will tell others about the so called Nothing visitA waste of money and time
I appreciate the care and compassion everyone treated me with.
I had what I thought was a bad cold but was worried that it could be COVID. Followed their protocol for a televisit, the call went well went in at 5 pm for nasal swab waited about 30 mins and had the results. I was negative and relieved that I had not spread it at Christmas. My experience was very professional and pleasant.
Great staff. Very professional and friendly. Connie Phillips the NP was so understanding and didnt just say you dont need antibotics like some doctors have done to me in the past and I got worse and had to go back a second time to get some. She gave me the prescribed meds and I feel better and took the time to make sure she gave me something I could take because I have such a sensitive body chemistry.
Went in with very swollen lymph glands and throat P.A Trina Henderson was very sweet gentle and straight forward. I was in and out in 30 mins with a shot in buttocks by the next morning feeling more like myself. A big thanks to the staff as well very pleasant !
Very easy process for rapid COVID testing. The virtual appointment with the doctor went well. He was very professional and provided some info about the different tests. The testing process was easy, efficient and quick. Every staff I spoke with on the phone was kind. Thanks for a good experience for my first COVID test!
Don’t make an appointment. I don’t know why they take appointments because you still get put in line behind everyone who was the there before you but doesn’t have an appointment. Didn’t get seen till an hour past my appointment and was there 30 minutes early. Didn’t leave after they called me back for another hour.
Staff was awesome and professional. Clean and well organized. I was seen in a timely manner. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.
The staff, medical assistant and doctor at AFC Powdersville were extremely concerned about my health problems and were able to provide me some fantastic medical support. Appreciate you all.
The rudest receptionist ever. No consideration for you health. Just is just nasty. I told myself not to go back here thought I would try again after they REFUSED to see my sick daughter 2 years ago. I only needed to see them today because my doctor is not available. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TALKED AT AND NOT TO.
I scheduled a 6 pm visit at AFC. They sent a text telling me they were behind and to come at 6:40. So I arrived at 6:30 to ensure I was on time. MISTAKE because at 7:40 I was brought to a waiting room. I am still waiting in the room…
I actually didnt end up being seen at this facility. I had a 3:30 appointment, so I assumed that I would be seen close to 3:30. I arrived 10-15 minutes early, as stated in the text I received. 45 minutes later, I still was waiting in the waiting room. I ended up leaving.
Excellent experience, friendly and courteous staff. Seen quickly even with several other patients waiting
Great Administrative Staff, Nurses and Doctors, I am usually very critical of medical staff but have never been more comfortable around a group of medical professionals like AFC Urgent Care of Powdersvillle. The trust and care they have given me is number one in my book! And it’s consistent, I have been going there for a few years and they have never let me down when I needed them the most! I can only hope other communities have what Powdersvillle has in their AFC Urgent Care facility.
So thankful for this place. Best experience I have ever had with an Urgent Care Facility. No wait, the doctor listened, issue improved within 24 hours, and a follow up call the following day floored me. Powdersville has a gem.
I am highly impressed with the medical staff at this location, especially Dr. Hannon, the attending physician when I went in. He is extremely knowledgeable, took the time to listen, and addressed the issue effectively. The visit was surprisingly fast for an urgent care during cold/flu season. I would recommend this urgent care to anyone looking.
The staff was amazing and friendly from the time I entered the door. They were helpful and knowledgeable. And took car of my needs quickly. Mahoney was a great CNA/ Phlebotomist. Would recommend this facility to anyone! 😁
Come in to get a drug test for employment. Waited forever, due to others getting physicals. Someone should be designated just to do the drug tests. Physicals take a lot longer, and there is no reason I should have to sit and wait just to pee in a cup.
Very rude front staff. We were sent here from a neighboring urgent care bc my son needed quick lab work done and theirs was down. We hurried and walked in 1 minute past 5. (By the way, many websites say you are open until 8) She rudely refused to see us. Having worked in the medical field for many years, I was shocked at the behavior. She could have recommended another place for us. I will NEVER return and do not recommend.
Everything was done in order and efficiency, just not very personal but I know its not like seeing a regular doc tor.
Darling lives up to her name!!! She was wonderful so kind and professional!!!! As soon as I pulled up they were taking care of me they are always great here.
Easy to fill out all forms online. Friendly and attentive staff. Prescription was waiting for me at my pharmacy. They did a follow up courtesy call the next day to make sure I was feeling better. I would definitely go back in the future if I needed urgent care medical attention.
They take forever, if it is urgent don’t come here because they are not urgent at all. You are better pff going to the ER for anything. You can hear the staff talking and laughing about stuff outside the room. I heard them talking about a patient not completely positively outside my room. They also won’t see you if you have COVID like symptoms...then how can they call themselves urgent care?
Staff was great but paid for X-rays and took right over to ER and disk was unreadable. So had to pay again to have x-rays taken. Would think something could be done but was told nothing they can do. So if you get x-rays done hopefully the cd works.
I usually go to Doctors Care but I will definitely go here from now on for my childrens urgent care. They were all super sweet and so nice. My daughter felt so loved. They made her feel right at home there.
Convenient location and great customer service. Nurse and doctor both very nice and professional. Did not have to wait long. They where also very helpful the next day by changing my daughters prescription to something she would take easier.
I was very satisfied. We arrived, filled out paperwork(which is offered online, as well as check in) and was in a room within ten minutes. My child was seen, diagnosed, counselled and discharged in under a half an hour.
This place was amazing! They really listened to me and was very thorough. I felt like everyone cared about my health. I have never been to an urgent care or doctors office like this before. Great job yall!
Went in to see the doc my mom is on hospice with stage 4 lung cancer so we relocated I haven’t seen a doc in sc in many yrs nikki L is who we had to call and speak with the next day due to her telling the pharmacist at cvs to void my prescription it’s was fraudulent which could have caused huge issues for myself she not only told me she was calling cvs to fix it but had us wait 48 mins knowing I’m at the pharmacy an we had to return the phone call she was so rude I can honestly say she does not need to work in the health care field she actually banged the phone on the desk as I was speaking and gave information to my husband the told him he wasn’t on my hippa to be speaking with him this one person alone I will not recommend nor go back to this care center I actually have the recording of our call and it’s just sad that people have to be spoke to and treated that way shame on you
My daughter was there for a covid screening due to an unexplained fever. The lady who did her covid test was so kind, patient, and upbeat. My daughter was LAUGHING and having fun. She was so sweet and made my daughter and me so comfortable and made the process so much easier for my 5 year old. She deserves a RAISE 👏
