I was scared to go here based on these reviews. But one day circumstances were such that I had to go here and I could not have been more surprised. Everyone I dealt with was so nice and accommodating. They did a great job of drawing my blood. They called me by my appointment time. I have returned many times and have always been treated nicely. One time I arrived at 8:45 and Victoria, at the front desk, noticed that I had to have my blood drawn by 9a.m. She and the other ladies really hustled to make it happen so that I did not have to come back the next day. Thank you all for making what is usually not so fun, a pleasant experience.
Went around 930am today for labs and couldnt believe how fast I got in and out! The staff were super nice, especially Paul, who was extremely gentle with the needle insertion. I became a bit woozy after the draw, and he was so polite and even fanned me while I sat there trying not to vomit. Not sure why people are eating this location so critically! You cant expect to show up without an appointment and not have to wait at least a little while.
I had a great experience at the Dunn Ave location. I walked in with no appointment at 8 am and only had to wait 15-20 mins to get my blood drawn for lab work. Staff was polite but efficient. Check in process on the iPad was easy and the person who drew my blood got a vein on the first shot and had me in and out quick.
Front desk is extremely load and rude. They talk amongst themselves before taking care of patients and usually about unprofessional things. It’s always dirty inside with sticky floors. I keep saying that after all the bad reviews, upper management will get involved and change things but.... So I guess this will be my last time coming. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because when making an appointment I usually don’t have to wait too long and the nurses in the back have always done a good job sticking me. Sad that the patients have to deal with the front desk staff before getting to the back.
Ive been going for years. The lady that normally works the front desk is very energetic, very professional. All the people in the back are well trained. They can get my small vein on the first shot.
The person that is working there today Friday . Obviously does not want to be there does not like her job and she is extremely rude. I have a bill for my father that a supervisor accidentally did not fix nor would she pull his monthly blood work until its paid in full. And was extremely rude about it. Its not my fault is quest fault theyre the ones that made the mistake and she acts like quakes dont make mistakes. I will not be using quest anymore I will find a new laboratory to go to
2 wks ago I agree with RUDE RUDE RUDE. 2 wks before that the same. The big girl at the front desk very rude. My husband and I have been going there for years, use to be the best. We make appts. and still go through crap with this girl. My husband has Pancreactic terminal cancer. Awful to take him to the closest one to us to be treated nasty. I am incline to almost agree with the other review as racist. Its a shame.Where did the sweet ones go. One gentleman(maybe hispanic?) Very nice.
At the quest center in the Walmart on Lem Turner road the staff was extremely rude talking on the other side of the wall everybody can hear them about the people in the lobby I asked the question didnt know that that they did not accept walk-ins at that location . Ask them was my doctors orders was in the system she told me no that you I need to go to the River City location when I did the River City location was extremely helpful staff was great The lady who drew my blood told me that she saw the orders in the system they could see the orders in the system she said they lied were never again go to the Walmart quest staff is rude and considerate downright nasty
I went online to make an appointment for a drug screening at this location. I arrived at my appointment time and proceeded to sign in on the iPad and there was a guy and lady sitting behind the desk and the guy proceeds to repeatedly call this ladys name in a effort to have her tell me that they didnt do drug screenings at that location instead of just telling me himself. A complete waste of time!
Worse experience-2 weeks in a row. Last week came in and they could not find my doctors orders. I waited an hour to be told they couldnt do anything. RUDE RUDE RUDE- they treat everyone like they are criminals- no eye contact. This time I had my blood draw order in hand and I sat down to wait. I start hearing person after person going thru the same issue. Problem is they make u sit and wait (even with an appointment) and refuse to check the system for you. So basically you have to wait ! The feeling is panic because we come in on Saturday because we all work DURING THE WEEK and yet they take your time with no regard. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST.
I always choose Quest at the Dunn Avenue location. They are very professional and with or without an appointment they get you in and out quickly. This place is my go to convient quick serve. When will they be opening back up?
Excellent service rendered. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Kinda surprising after reading all of the negative comments from others. I question the veracity of some of the previous comments. My experience there was what I would expect from a professional provider of healthcare services.
Sept 2019: This Quest TEMPORARILY closed per employee at another location for renovation. Note: this is TEMPORARY. She stated this location will be opening again on or around Oct 8, 2019. Handwritten sign on door is NOT correct that it is closed indefinitely. Apparently current renovation workers wrote this sign, it was not posted by owners. GOOGLE: please do not allow edit to this location showing as closed permanently.
Most racist black nurses I have ever seen! Rude and acted like I was at the wrong location and because I did not have Obama care I had to leave for waiting so long just for a price!!! Would not recommend this location to white folks!
Staff at the front desk is extremely rude and unprofessional. Will never ever come to this location for labs again. Typical northside garbage. This place needs some serious management and training. Its sad that they continue to operate this way.
I made my appointment online, checked in at the kiosk. Everything went great! In and out in 15 minutes. Staff is also very welcoming and friendly (:
First,I really don’t understand why has negative reviews with this location because from the front fest to the staff everyone is very nice and politeToday is the second time that I was here in early Saturday morning, there was a lot of customers that already there but I was done under 1 hourEveryone here always help each other to get the jobs doneThank you again for your kindness
This place is ok meaning I havent had any issues with the staff being rude or anything, its just I feel the staff can get a little to loud with the laughing and talking amongst each other, I personally take that as unprofessional, because this is a work place, and yes we want to work somewhere that is somewhat laid back and staff is not walking around like they have a stick up their butt, but we just have to remember this still is a work place none the less... Just my personal views....
Wasted 3 hours of my time before finally giving up and leaving. Dont ever go there on a Saturday morning. Even people with appts were waiting for hours. Worst experience ever. Dont go to this one.
Appointments forget about it. Be first at the door for best chance. Only one employee for this facility. 6:15 appointment good luck.
They were fast and efficient. The personnel were very friendly and thorough. They are also open through lunch unlike LabCorp!
Rude!!!!!!!! Unacceptable sorry attitude and was openly smug about our unhappiness! The health insurance forces us too utilize Quest and we feel like we are in a hostage situation.
I was given paperwork through their system. When I arrived, I was told Im not in their system and they dont know what to do, even though the paperwork gives explicit instructions. They would not see me.
No need for an appointment. Totally ignored my appointment time. They take people in the order they come in. Go to Southside location unless you are retired and time does not matter.
This location is closed. We went there is morning and there is a sign on the door. They are temporarily closed. Quest corporate did not bother to make this known on the internet. I dont know if or when they will reopen.
Never had any problems @ this location after many years of going there. Staff have always been respectful and professional to me.
Been using Dunn Ave location for years. Staff, facilities are wonderful. All friendly and helpful.
I work for a pediatric office and no matter how many times we use quest if they go to the Dunn ave office the test results dont get sent to us and or get the results and this is unacceptable and these are kids having to be stuck multiple times.
Location is listed as closing at 3. I went there on Tuesday they were closed by 230.No notice or anything was on the door.
Worst site ever! Doors lock 10 mins early! Was able to get someone to come to door but refused to let me in!
Dont waste your time coming to this one, just go to the southside location. The staff at the southside location are nicer and better at their jobs.
