I’m done with this Clinic. I got my embryo transfer in July. Of course, it was failed. I have an embryo left which I needed it get biopsy tested right after fresh transfer failure. It has been almost two months that the lab who do PGT testing still hasn’t received the sample. As soon as they know that I would not go for the next Ivf cycle with them. They have been treating me like they do not care.I will not contact you guys back anymore. If you want to hold my frozen embryo and do not want to proceed what you are supposed to do. It’s fine. I’ll find another clinic who is willing to help me.
Ive been seeing Brown Fertility Since Oct 2022 my last appointment was April 16 2024. I will say the nursing staff truly cares about their patients, not sure about Dr. Brown and his money managers. Due to wrong paper work being filed with insurance back on June 2023 my insurance denied a claim, while I was in the middle of a cycle, keep in mind I had been a patient for 8 months going on a regular basis and paying in accordance with their policies. When insurance denied the initial claim I was told if I dont pay the $8k balance immediately I would be dropped from the cycle. I begged them to give me 2 weeks to fight with the insurance and they refused they gave me 5 days. A week after I paid the 8K insurance approved the claim. I started then asking for a refund. Brown fertility REFUSED!!! They claimed they had to wait for all insurance claims to be paid before they could start the process. Well thanks to multiple failed transfers we kept going back. Finally in March of 2024 a transfer finally took and we are pregnant with Twins (the only reason they have 2 stars and not 1) After my last appointment on April 17 2024. I called and asked when can they start the refund process. They said once the insurance claims had all been paid. keep in mind we are talking about less then $200.00 for procedures when they owed me by this point over $6500. Finally May 1 2024 I was told all insurance claims had been paid and that they would push the refund through even though their policy is 90-120 business days. I called again in June as I had heard nothing and asked to speak to a manager to please expedite my refund. They said absolutely no one called. I called again in July and was told the previous manager was no longer with the company but was assured my refund would be started immediately and I can expect my check by August 20th. When didnt receive anything on the 20th I called again and was told there was no record of my call from July and that my refund hadnt been started yet. 3 MONTHS after ALL INSURANCE CLAIMS were PAID IN FULL, no refund started. I have since been told my refund would be complete by mid September once the Dr signs off on the refund checks, and was told another manager would call me. That was yesterday and still nothing.I would not recommend Brown Fertility to anyone. While yes they get results most times, they cause more stress and heartache then a fertility clinic should. I also had multiple issues with appointments being changed or moved around or not even put on the calendar as well. You will be just a number there and you are moved in and out like cattle. If you dont have the 1st appointment be prepared to wait, and heaven forbid you have a mid day appointment or you will wait hours past your appointment time. You are required to pay in full up front before being added to their calendars and then they give you the run around about trying to get your money back. Best of luck to anyone that goes there.
Brown Fertility has helped ease the process of trying to conceive. They are very thorough!!! The staff, especially Jenny, was super helpful with all of the normal aspects of her job, but she went above and beyond to talk through any emotional times with me and answered all of my questions. If she was ever unsure, she always made sure to put me in touch with someone who could help. Love her & Brown Fertility!
We had the absolute best experience and the odds were not in our favor. They were a blessing to us from our first consultation with Dr. Brown when he looked us in the eye with full confidence and said “You will have a baby!” after feeling months of disappointment and helplessness. I appreciated Dr. Brown’s academic approach and encouragement to follow the science - this made our treatments very Black and White versus feeling the overwhelm of whatever advice or tips people post to Social Media. We always were given super clear directions and they were available for calls if we ever had any confusion about next steps. The staff provided positivity and encouragement even when probability didn’t appear to be on our side. We have even received regular email check ins and a Baby Shower gift from our favorite nurse because she has been truly so happy for us, just like the rest of the staff. Thank you to Brown Fertility for our Miracle Child!
The truth is that I am disappointed with this place. I went once and according to them my insurance did not apply. I paid for my appointment of 150 dollars. And I did not make an appointment or anything else and since that day they send me emails that I owe a bill... incredible bill that I did not sign any contract or schedule a next appointment.
I cant thank enough Dr. Brown and his team. I struggled with infertility for four years after my first child. At the age of 42, I was able to get pregnant after the first IVF. It wasnt an easy journey but nurses and staff were there with me every step of the way. They were so wonderful! Now I just gave a birth to a beautiful baby boy. Thank you so much! Im glad we chose to knock a door at Brown Fertility Clinic.
First off, I’d like to compliment Dr. Brown’s staff from clinical to business office. They are very pleasant and take the appropriate time to address my needs. Miss Annette from billing helped me resolve some issues without feeling rushed or harassed. I highly recommend his clinic for your future fertility treatments (I’m currently 22w3d pregnant). God Bless his entire team.
Still waiting on needed lab request so I can make September transfer list; multiple delays no real answers just more delays, I was told in July by Dr. Shah that we can have everything completed by the end of August and transfer in September now Im getting notifications we may not be able to transfer until October. Yes all paperwork have been signed and everything that I can do has been done but Im still waiting and this couldve been completed mid July but there was issues once again on there end with billing I was told that insurance will be ran and someone will contact me to make a appointment I said ok few days past I call back my insurance still was not ran so I paid out of pocket and found out by Progyny I was not suppose to pay anything it was covered under my plan and they wouldve knew this if the insurance was ran in a timely manner this isnt the worst part I paid the $150 ok ok the worst part is now Im delayed the nurse I had FET teaching with is very busy this week with retrieval so now I have to wait until October to transfer at this point if its about insurance I can pay for service out of pocket and sent it to my insurance company myself because the test they are needing/genetic testing for me and my spouse are for embryos that have already been created which doesnt make since but its ok I can have this done soon as the order comes to me. Now Im waiting on a call back..... Ive been waiting on that for quite sometimeUpdate 8/8: No call back but so far issue has mostly been resolved so no call is neededUpdate 8/9: Things are finally moving along probably couldve had everything completed this week like labs and moving my embryos from one place to another but it will be done by next week the ball is in my court now and thankfully the kind people at the embryo storage company is work hard to get my embryos where the need to be so I can transfer September they put my baby on express shipping :) the lab company said they can come to me and draw my blood, they sent the kits express as well. Im thankful these companies are rooting for me hopefully Brown Fertility is on the same page once everything is completed in time. No more delays no more excuses
Throughout my fertility journey, I can say without a doubt that having an amazing nurse definitely makes a huge difference. Christine (from the moment I met her) has shown me such compassion and kindness. She always does more than what her job requires. When you are constantly going to appointments, you see the nurses more than anyone. It makes me feel like I truly have a friend in her. I would have been lost throughout a lot of this long process, but having her has made all the difference. I am so grateful for everything she has done for me and how sweet she is all the time! My husband and I both think the world of her. A doctor’s office is only as good as the people working under the actual doctors and nurses like Christine are rare!I also think so many people at Brown are amazing… Jennie isn’t technically my nurse, but she is also so so sweet and thoughtful. Adrienne in billing has been so kind, as well as, Kellie! I also love Dr. Caminero. Lastly, I want to say how kind Melissa is at the Baymeadows location. I have seen firsthand some of the negativity she has to deal with, but she is always so nice and friendly! My experience has been wonderful at Brown and I am thankful for the care I have received thus far.
DO NOT waste your time! I waited for nearly an hour past my scheduled appointment time and arrived 15 minutes early to see Dr. Caminero for a consult for which I pre-paid $150. Doctor was a no-show. I had visited two of my other doctors’ offices to prepare paper records in advance of this appointment and arranged childcare so I could be there. I find their lack of respect for their patients time infuriating and unacceptable. Still waiting on my refund… additionally, the Tallahassee location is in another gyno’s office inside TMH/ hospital and not clearly identifiable as Brown Fertility (no signs at all) which is incredibly confusing. It’s difficult to find, and you also have to pay for parking.I will go back to FIRM and Dr. Winslow. They’re organized and helpful and treat their patients with respect. I just wanted to get additional thoughts at the recommendation of my GP, but I regret even trying to get a second opinion with this office.UPDATE: 10 days later and I never received a refund for the $150 consultation fee so I called again and was told by their billing team that it had never been processed. This place is an absolute cluster.
My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Brown for almost a year now. And we’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences. Our first transfer did not go as planned, however, with the help of Hannah Hart we were able to schedule our 2nd transfer in May. She kept us informed and updated on the progress of speaking to the financial team and nurses. I’m a nurse practitioner, and because of my great experiences with Brown Fertility, I have referred several patients to them as well!
The financial department really sucks. Ive been dealing with them back and forth since August 2023 and just when I thought everything was moving along after paying my out of pocket cost I receive an email 2 days later saying they dont accept my insurance after Ive given them my money I responded to the email letting them know I didnt understand what was going on for someone to reach out to me and they never did. I called and talked to someone and was told that I could get a refund but it would take 90 to 120 business days in order to get it. Theres no way that they can tell me they didnt know they didnt take my insurance (after my insurance said they did and approved the procedure) until after I paid almost $2,000. I dont know about the nurses and everything else since I havent got that far but financial is horrible. The only good thing I have for this clinic is Ms. Annette in billing. She truly worked with me throughout this frustration.
Struggled with infertility for 3 years, and I am 36 years old. Brown was able to pin point the issue and give us the best next steps. After the third IUI we were able to conceive and are expecting our miracle in less than 5 months.
We had a great experience at Brown. Special shout out to Jill Bueno the billing lead. She answered all of our questions, was so kind, and always so responsive. IVF can be expensive and stressful, with Jills help we had our stress to a minimum and felt confident that our finances were attended to properly. Another special shout out to Christina the NP - her warm heart and attentiveness made us feel so at ease every single time we had an appointment with her. Chelsea the IVF coordinator was also incredible. Chelsea was there through the embryo genetic testing, meds, retrieval and transfer every step of the way. She always made sure to follow up with us and was always so on top of things. Having to go through IVF is no walk in the park, but the staff and billing department made this experience great for us. We are now expecting a baby girl due this fall because of everyone at Brown Fertility. Thank you so so much to everyone!
Do not schedule an appointment, unless it is confirmed with your insurance first! They will have you pay in full and you’ll never see that claim or get your money back. The billing department is HORRIBLE! We had to pay in full because they were saying our insurance claim got “denied”. We double checked with our insurance to make sure they were in network and the tests were covered (which they were). We then called to have them try again, but it always went to voicemail and no one would call us back for the longest. When they finally called back they said it kept getting denied. However, I just got off the phone with my insurance and they never even received a claim from Brown Fertility! They never sent anything to my insurance for them to deny! They just keep sending us in circles and LYING to us. Now I have to keep calling to try and get our medical records to submit my own claim (which from other reviews sounds like it’s going to be another mission impossible). It has been an absolute nightmare and we’ve only just started this journey. Nothing about this is making us want to continue using this place. We will be researching new places. I should have read the reviews beforehand because it seems we aren’t the only ones who had this happen.
Would give 0 stars if I could…the most unorganized and greedy office I’ve ever been to. They will lie about not having your insurance and information to make you pay for the appointment in cash. Then when you try to contact the billing dept to give your insurance you will be hung up on. They will never charge your insurance and you’ll never get your money back. As if infertility isn’t hard enough you have to worry about scam artists for doctors. They will also “forget” to provide insurance information to natera (the company they use for genetic testing) and you will be billed for that. When you contact natera they will tell you that before the testing you should’ve received notice about cost and insurance. And the cherry on top is if you try to discuss a previous chemical pregnancy the doctor will promptly tell you it was nothing more than a “false positive”. After having been to three separate fertility offices now I can confidently say I would NEVER recommend Browns. If you want doctors that care and a professional office that isn’t interested in just your cash I’d recommend staying out of this office.
Please use my experience as a cautionary tale. One retrieval, two transfers, 3 embryos, 15K+ spent and no little one to show for it. This is the outcome because I feel as though my treatment wasnt tailored to my specific fertility issue, which was the presence of fibroids, and potentially, other unexplored issues. I understand IVF and other ART dont always lead to successful outcomes, but in my case, the failure to take the necessary steps to maximize my chances of pregnancy are what I believe led to an unsuccessful IVF cycle. I reached out to Brown Fertility to assist me with my dream of expanding my family in May 2023 and began my IVF journey in August. During my trial transfer, the Dr. discovered a fibroid impacting my uterus and recommended to have a hysteroscopic myomectomy which essentially shaves down the portion of the fibroid impacting the uterus vaginally, instead of removing the entire fibroid via more invasive surgical methods. I had the surgery and moved forward with my IVF cycle later that year with the hope that this would increase my odds of getting pregnant. During each ultrasound monitoring appointment, there was always mention of a fibroid, but the provider never seemed concerned about its location or size, and never recommended to have it completely removed. I also figured as the patient, they would advise if it was a cause for concern, and I figured my previous surgery significantly minimized its impact to my uterus. After the first failed transfer, I had a post-transfer consult with Dr. Brown who led me to believe that the quality of the embryo was likely the cause. Which, I do understand that we as humans make bad embryos, my age is a factor (Im 37), and without PGT testing its really a gamble on whether an embryo will stick (which I didnt have embryos tested on the recommendation of Dr. Brown). So essentially, he said that Id just need to keep transferring embryos until one sticks. This led me to believe that my failed transfer was likely due to a bad embryo rather than any other thing I had going on in my uterus. So, for the next transfer I decided to transfer two instead on one embryo, for multiple reasons, but mainly because I thought that I just needed to keep transferring embryos until I got to the one that stuck. Well, as you know, the second transfer failed and I was devastated however, I didnt harbor any ill-feelings towards Dr. Brown or his staff because I knew going into this process that this could be the outcome. However, a few weeks later, I did want to get a fresh perspective from another fertility doctor to move forward with my dream of expanding my family. During my first appointment with the new RE, I had an ultrasound and the first words to come out of his mouth were, I can see why you didnt get pregnant. Why would he proceed with a transfer? Then he proceeded to show me the fibroid that was definitely still digging into my uterus. An embryo had no chance to grow in the environment because the fibroid was significantly diminishing the blood supply to my uterus. To say I was stunned doesnt justly characterize how I felt. I felt cheated out of all of the time, energy, and money expended at Brown just to find out that the fibroid was IN FACT, still impacting my uterus and a major reason why my transfers failed. I am greatly disappointed and saddened that I lost two potential chances to get pregnant because my uterus was not hospitable to an embryo with the fibroid. I would have certainly undergone the more invasive surgery to remove the fibroid to increase my odds at pregnancy, but I feel as though I wasnt given the right recommendation from Dr. Brown or any of the staff that treated me. This is just my experience, but I strongly feel compelled to share this as a cautionary tale to others. I am disappointed at the outcome, but I am not bitter.
I had my HSG with Dr. Kristian and Anastasia yesterday. Both ladies were awesome and made me feel as comfortable and I was going to be having this procedure. They walked me through the whole process and took their time. Thanks ladies.
Jennie is AMAZING! She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and supportive. Her presence and guidance provided the comfort was needed during the process. Now we are expecting! 🩷 Thank you Jennie and Dr. Brown. We are forever grateful!
My experience at Brown Fertility in Jacksonville has been nothing short of amazing. While we continue our journey into this club I never planned on joining, the staff and doctors have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported. I have felt as though the doctors and nursing staff were not only experts in their field, but also compassionate and understanding answering all of my questions and putting my mind at ease.Throughout this process, I have been lucky to build relationships with three main ladies who have become my godsend - Christine, my nurse and IVF coordinator who deals with my nonsense over the medication teachings, calendars, helping me squeeze into last minute appointments, and my dramatized playouts over completed appointments (because this journey is wild). Jenny, my other nurse who I saw frequently and thankfully was able to be my supportive fill-in husband to hold my hand and calm me while mine was away for work during one of my IVF transfers. And Teena, the wonderful Nurse Practitioner, who I thankfully built a relationship from the very beginning of my journey at Brown Fertility and have been lucky to see her for the majority of my appointments. From the first appointment, she helped put my overthinking self at ease by patiently going over all my scenarios and creating gameplans for whatever outcome occurred. These three ladies have become my biggest cheerleaders and have kept the hope alive for when I didnt have any hope left for myself. They are realistic, they are factual, but they are so positive and so supportive and I am so lucky to have them be part of my team. I hope everyone who is located in the Jacksonville area gets to meet these ladies and I guarantee you will have a pleasant experience as well!
This was my first time at a fertility center and I was immediately at ease and comfortable. I felt heard and not judged. I loved all the staff and they were so kind of caring. Definitely would recommend Brown Fertility to anyone in Florida!
I am loving my experience with Brown so far! We dont always see the same doctor but the nurses are pretty consistent. Ive seen Dr Shah who is a very smooth guy that gave us all of our options and suggestions from the beginning so we had a better idea of what to expect through the journey. Dr. Fouid (?) was very upfront with our IUI success chances. There is a front desk nurse who is lighter skinned with a round face & she is so sweet. She gave me lots of encouragement during one of my appointments. There is a really pretty nurse with locs and really nice nails that pulls my blood everytime. She is always patient & gentle with me because it is VERY hard to pull blood from me. Jeslyann is usually who calls me back if I have a question or concern and she is always helpful and clarifies anything I might have questions on. Thank you Brown for helping us try to grow our family!
Wonderful service, wonderful doctor, wonderful team! Could not recommend them enough for fertility needs! Dr. Brown is the best! Rachel and Hannah are amazing and always execute perfect customer service and satisfaction! What a team!
Would give zero stars if possible. This place is terrible, stay away. They cant stay on time with appointments, even the first one in the morning. Management cannot figure out what is going on. They will call and cancel an appointment 5 minutes before the appointment. Weve been here several times and this will be the last. They care about payments, not the patients.
IVF is very stressful but Dr. Brown and his staff are amazing and tries to make the process as easy as possible. Dr. Brown is very busy but he will take time out of his schedule to meet with his patients that desires to meet with him personally. Additionally, the nurses and the ARNPs are excellent, they are always available to answer my questions. IVF is emotionally draining but it is comforting to have a supportive medical team like Dr. Brown and his staff to guide you along the way. Finally, after multiple miscarriages, Dr. Brown was able to help me conceive my little miracle that I am currently holding as I update this review.
While our fertility journey is far from over, I cannot rave enough about our experience thus far. After a negative experience at another clinic leaving us at a loss and very negative about ourselves, I found Brown Fertility online. Every interaction with each staff member has been uplifting, informative and like they will spend all the time with you. We are not rushed and all questions are encouraged and answered. We are looking forward to a positive end and recommend anyone wanting quality care to head to Brown Fertility.
I was so impressed with the level of care and attention to detail that I received at Brown Fertility Baymeadows location. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the nurses to the doctors, was so friendly and helpful. Alejandra was especially amazing. She was always available to answer my questions, and she made sure that I understood everything that was happening. I felt like she was really invested in my success, and I am so grateful for her help.
Do not waste your time! This medical network will make your fertility experience utterly miserable. They will force you to prepay for everything due to their billing team’s incompetence when you have medical benefits. Then have the audacity to tell you that you have to wait 120 days for a refund of your benefits. They force you to store a credit card on an unsecured network before you can see anyone and their forward facing staff are rude and unprofessional. When you try to transfer to another doctor, they take 30 days to transfer YOUR medical records and won’t answer the phone. If you’re unfortunate enough to already be with this Ponzi scheme, I wish you luck getting out.
I had started my Journey on 12/2023. My husband and I have not been successful at this time but we are hopeful for the next steps. The Southside and Baymeadows location have great staff and great communication. Dr. Brown and Tina have been amazing with thier words of encouragement and testings to make sure we are nice and healthy. HSG was a success and now fingers crossed and prayers up for our family to grow.
I would not recommend brown fertility. We came to Brown Fertility with suspected Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (my wife is a doctor and self diagnosed) and after 1 single scan he immediately shrugged off our suspicions and suggested my wife has PCOS, even though she doesnt fit many of the diagnostic criteria. We took them for their word and went through 3 IUI cycles (all unsuccessful) and her estrogen levels didnt respond to the medications once, suggesting an ineffective approach from incorrect diagnosis. We switched to FIRM to do IVF and they reviewed the bloodwork and labs and confirmed our original suspected diagnosis. As a result of the correct treatment were able to retrieve 22 follicles and the lab work reflected successful treatment. Had we stayed with brown who knows how many more thousands of dollars we wouldve thrown away pursuing incorrect treatments. The office is also a nightmare to deal with and get ahold of and the staff reeked of incompetency. Our IVF teaching was all of 10 minutes with a nurse who had no clue how to answer any of our questions. At FIRM we had an extensive 2 hour long IVF teaching with several detailed pamphlets. Get a second opinion before throwing away thousands of dollars.
Today i had done HSG test and may i tell you the staff is AMAZING. Tina and Lilly were so informative and made the process so easy and stress free!! Definitely referring Brown Fertility 10/10.
I am so glad that I went with Brown fertility for my semen analysis! The service was amazing from the start to end. Alejandra took care of all my questions and concerns and treated me as if I was part of her family. Not only she is very knowledgeable, but also makes you feel comfortable. I will recommend it to friends and family.
Do not recommend. Had a bad experience and the office and billing is horrible. We receive our paperwork from our doctor to go here and the pricing was wrong and the address and when our doctor brought it up to them. They acted like they did not know what was going on. Hard to get a hold of anyone. My husband had insurance and filled out everything online. When his appt came and went then they said nothing was received in time and we had to pay upfront. And when we asked why the cost was more then what the referral paper stated we were told it was due to price increase. Still trying to get a refund.
My husband and I could not be happier with the treatment we received at Brown Fertility. We have used other clinics prior, however our best experience was with Brown. Because of everyone here, we now have our beautiful baby boy after trying for almost 10 years. We are forever grateful to this clinic and cannot say enough good things about the doctors, nurses, embryologist and everyone we encountered along the way. Our nurse Thayane went above and beyond. She was and still is always available for anything we need. We would recommend 110%.
Brown Fertility Clinic has been amazing and thecare of theyre clients is something everyone should be able to experience. Alejandra assist us in every single way even when he had question out of her jurisdiction, she would always facilitate a number, name, to reach out in order for our questions to be solved. Not only did she did that but made this journey easy, peaceful and loving the way it should been. Thanks Alejandra for your dedication to this institution. It was a pleasure for us to meet you.
The team at Brown Fertility is both compassionate and thorough. We did a frozen embryo transfer with this clinic and now have a healthy baby boy. Thank you Brown Fertility!
They are completely unrecommended by me. Although the coordinator is unskilled and finds it quite difficult to complete a basic task, the nurse practitioner is rather kind. I wouldnt go if youre hoping for a stress-free, seamless encounter.
Im sure people have had a good experience with this doctor, so I can only speak to mine, and it was the worst, most absolutely terrible experience of my life.I was referred to Doctor Brown, and I wish I would have done more research or ran for the hills as soon as his name came up. It was a complete waste of time, they did not take my condition seriously, and overlooked some very big issues that have now really affected my health & well being. Overall, nothing good came out of this experience and I wasted 6 months of my time & money listening to a doctor who probably couldnt even tell you my name.
Would highly underrecommend to everyone. As soon as my procedure was over everything went downhill. I wanted to speak to my doctor (who I did see any before or after my procedure) and they wanted to charge me another $150 for follow up questions. I wanted my medical records, they said they had 30 days. I finally called on the 29th day and they sent them with a $27 charge for paper. Records were missing and botched. I am still missing records today and inquire about them weekly, they still cant produce them, I ask for names, they cant give them, I ask about the botched records, they have no answers. This place will scam you out of money. Please DO NOT GO. Take your money somewhere else.
Brown fertility has been exceptional to work with. Having fertility issues has been emotionally and financially draining. Each provider we have met with at Brown has been not just empathetic, but sympathetic. From our first interaction, they responded quickly via email and made us feel comfortable in the office. Their scheduling flexibility is second to none, and we have never felt rushed in our visits. Many of their providers have had their own experiences with infertility, which has made them more passionate and engaged in helping us find our own success. We have felt heard and validated at every step in this process. Brown Fertility has truly been a bright spot in this storm. We 100% recommend this clinic to anyone trying to conceive.
If I could give no stars, I would. This office does not care about its patients whatsoever. I started my fertility journey looking to be a single mom by choice in 2021. After two IUIs, one complete round of IVF, and one additional failed retrieval, Im left with absolutely nothing to show for it. In addition to being out over $13k+ since they chewed through my fertility benefit (lifetime max of $25k), I will have to continue paying out of pocket no matter where I go, for thousands of dollars I do not have. Essentially killing my desire to become a mom.Not only does this offices billing department NEVER respond, Dr. Brown is so egotistical in his treatment and flippant about your concerns over treatment plans. My last IVF round collected two successful embryos, and we fresh transferred one. It ended in a 5-week miscarriage. The next attempted round was a disaster. Having bloodwork done at the start it was determined my thyroid was thrown out of whack and came back at 11. I was referred to an endocrinologist but advised I could still continue with IVF, without any heed for the thyroid issues. I did a retrieval with my TSH reporting at an 8 and MULTIPLE sources, even the retrieval physician, Dr. Suny Caminero, wholly advised AGAINST a fresh transfer. Dr Brown blatantly disagreed with this saying Im right, theyre wrong, blaming his nursing staff for inaccurate advice. My concerns were also chalked up to being psychological. WHAT! I chose to stop and not move forward with a transfer. Refusal to adjust anything to account for the thyroid and state the endocrinologist is not a fertility specialist therefore his opinion is worthless. I saw a new fertility specialist who also agreed with the endocrinologist and did a battery of new tests to find that I have insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, and Hashimotos disease. The new doctor also did tests to verify endometriosis/endometritis to rule out any other issues before even remotely contemplating a treatment. Something Brown didnt even offer. Not to mention getting this office to respond to an email for anything that is not a patient currently in a live cycle is impossible. Ive emailed so many times to get a LMN to submit to my FSA for documentation of a $2000 charge, since April without a single response. I will get penalized on my taxes if not submitted, of which Ive explained via email. The office has called me within 15 minutes of appts to tell me its cancelled without my approval. They dont know what they left and right hand is doing 90% of the time. PHI all over the place when you come in for blood work. And poor documentation and protocols for borrowing medications. Additionally, this facility will NOT provide you embryo quality information as Dr Brown feels it holds no value in your treatment. So you have no idea if the embryo being transferred is really worth the time/money/risk.I have had it with trying to work with these people and since no one will acknowledge my requests, resorting to posting an extremely public review removing any semblance of privacy I may have going through this extremely trying process. This office should be ashamed of their practices and patient treatment.
Brown fertility has offered me the treatment and love other clinics have not offered me before. I remember speaking to Alejandra the first time I called seeking information about tubal reversal. She made me feel comfortable answering all my questions and concerns.
Brown Fertility clinic has been a blessing for my family and I. Glorian was such a big help throughout the process. We appreciated how she spoke Spanish, keeping my fiancé and I updated at all times. She was always very calming to speak to as we waited for our results.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I cannot begin to say how disappointed I am with our experience with this provider. The communication is abysmal and lack of concern once I became a patient was disheartening. I felt like I was simply a number to them and they cared nothing about my personal needs or concerns. My treatment did not seem tailored to my needs--I felt as though it was the same as everyone elses despite my particular needs. Dr. Brown himself is very pleasant, but his practice is very disorganized and made me concerned that the left hand did not know what the right was doing. I could go on voicing my unhappiness. Another thing to note is that this provider would give a nominal discount in exchange for positive reviews on Google. Please keep this in mind when reading positive reviews. It is unfortunate because we are limited with our choices in North East Florida when it comes to fertility treatment. I wish everyone going through this journey the very best.
Alejandra went above and beyond to ensure the coding was accurate towards billing by insurance, that i would receive coverage by my insurance before starting the process. She also recommended personal fertility programs i needed to enroll with my job/corporation beforehand. Other local places just stuck me with bills that appeared months later and dock against my credit score while i was searching for apartments/places to live!
I’ve been waiting 10 months for a refund that never came. I sent documentation multiple times for their office to be say they never received it, tell clients it takes 90-120 business days to issue refunds, have the patients WAIT that time only to be told they won’t honor refund because paperwork not received. I have paper confirmation of all the documentation they request. They DID receive it and lied about it. Everyone from the billing department staff to the billing MANAGER Crooks!! Go somewhere else.
Update 6/16/23 : As predicted the clinic has responded to my negative review with an email address asking me to follow up.The only thing I can really say here is if you followed up with people in your office as quickly as you follow up with negative reviews on Google, you might actually have kept us as clients.-----------------------------------------------Pretty simple situation, take a look at all the recent reviews and theyll tell you all you need to know.Ill just add one more to the pile. This office is the most disorganized, unprofessional, uncommunicative office I have ever personally been too. Every single time we went for an appointment we showed up 15 minutes early and were asked to wait over an hour past our appointment. Every. Single. Time. This office jerked my wife around with appointment cancellations, failure to return calls, failure to do basic insurance paperwork with the hospital ahead of time, etc. It has been a total nightmare and at this point we are done with them.Doctors seem good, but they are hidden behind a filter of incompetence that you will not be able to easily manage. We did not find it to be worth the stress and hassle in any way. Just read the other reviews ...To whoever it is that likes to respond to these comments with her email. Lady, the only thing thats going to fix the problem is getting a new office manager who knows what they are doing. That is clearly not the case right now. The fact that every review for the last few months says the same thing and you all still havent addressed it, is really telling. Couldnt recommend this place less...
While I certainly share the frustrations that others have mentioned with billing and communication, I wouldnt have my son and daughter if it werent for them! When I was actually able to get ahold of someone in the billing department, I found them responsive and open to address any concerns. Also, Thayane is amazing. Not only is she pleasant to interact with, she actually responds in a timely manner - which cant be said for all their employees.Overall, they definitely have areas to improve upon, but they helped us achieve our goals, and that is what mattered most.
Not at all impressed with Brown Fertility. After three miscarriages they encouraged IUI, I was confused by this because we didn’t have an issue getting pregnant. I then got pregnant spontaneously after an HSG test and one of the drs who I regularly saw didn’t even know she had already put me progesterone. I understand people get busy but they can read your chart before entering the room. After swapping to a different provider in the office in the midst of that pregnancy/miscarriage, he told us we should plan on moving forward with IVF, as IUI wouldn’t be ideal since we do get pregnant. Come to find out, that provider was leaving and we decided it was best just to move. All the nurses and billing staff was awful to work with. I never got calls back and they took over one month to send my medical records to our new clinic, even though I requested them in plenty of time.
( Details )I feel like I wasted so much time with Dr Brown in hopes I would get pregnant. After every failed attempt there was that call to advise you that you were not pregnant, but never a follow up scheduled or even a concerned called to ask if I would like to follow up. Dr Brown is a nice guy, but he will NEVER remember you. And he will tell all his patients this SAME THINGS like he is reading from some sort of fertility script. He never even mentioned or even ran more test to see what the issue was with me not getting pregnant. Not to mention the billing department and how they were sitting on an over 600 dollar credit for me and NEVER reached out to advise. I could go on for days about this place. I also had a friend visit the facility and had an even worse experience. Save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else. I’m still so upset with the lack of care I received that I’m no longer trying to conceive. I am now traumatized from this whole experience..
I am sure if you live in Jacksonville or Tampa you can get great care. Unfortunately, I live in the area of one of their satellite offices. What was told to me in the initial appointment was most things could be done at the satellite location and that I would be hearing from a nurse or a medical assistant to get the next steps coordinated. I did not hear from anyone for 2 weeks, I contacted the last known contact and was told “we may have forgotten to call you.” Additionally, the front desk scheduler advised we would have to drive to Tampa or Jacksonville for ordinary labs which we were told could be done locally. When I asked her why that is different from the appointment she said, “well we expand our offices to build up patients and slowly expand services we offer at that office.” This comment feels very icky and predatory. When I finally spoke to a nurse I was told my doctor would be in Tampa, I would have to coordinate finding a provider to assist with care in the satellite location, however my nurse navigator is in Orlando area and since Jacksonville is closer I would have to go to Jacksonville for any major procedures. Therefore, I would never actually receive care from the physician who saw me at the satellite office. It is not feasible for an ordinary patient to have to coordinate their care through 4 different offices. We do feel like we were forgotten and we feel like just a money making number. We were very excited to start this journey to parenthood and feel like we were mislead and deeply disappointed.
I had high hopes for Brown Fertility but unfortunately never got a chance to have an appointment. The past month my OB and I have sent my referral several times. Each time I or my OB called we were advised they didn’t receive it and were always given a different fax to send to. Finally was given an email address but that didn’t work either. I expressed my frustration of time wasted and the response was sorry, try this fax number. I understand things happen but would’ve been nice to see some effort on their end to try to help a new patient trying to receive their care for an already stressful issue of infertility. Disappointing.
What an amazing experience from the start of my journey with Brown Fertility Thayane Clissia Lemes was incredible. She was very kind and thoughtful throughout the hard journey of IVF. She always made time for me and went out of her way to make the process easier. I came from Shady Grove clinic and spent 4 years wasting my precious time with them and was ready to give up. Most clinics would not see patients over 50. I met with Dr. Brown who is the best Infertility doctor in the country and he was so positive and even asked if I wanted twins well I never ever thought that was possible. Well on my first try I was pregnant with twins. They are beautiful healthy twins a boy and girl. I am 53 years old. They are a true answer to prayer and believe God really uses Dr. Brown to help make miracles happen. I just want to say regarding any negative reviews which seem so ridiculous. I was not paid nor given any discount for my review. Dr. Brown was just recently been given the honor of one of the best doctors by Newsweek 2023 in the entire country. I am 53 years old and had a healthy safe pregnancy with twins. Trust God and follow Dr. Brown’s advice and you will also will be blessed by having your own miracle it’s a tough journey but so worth it don’t give up..and chose the right Dr. I wasted 4 years with the wrong Dr and clinic. Thayane will help you along the way as well, she works right next to Dr. Brown and will make everything go smoothly and help with anything you ask her. She really cares about her patients so make sure you ask for her.
Warm, welcoming, accommodating, understanding, compassionate and knows how to get things done in a timely matter, describes the service of Josephine Guest. I highly recommend seeking her out for any of your needs at Brown Fertility. She is top notch. One of a kind and knows her stuff. Brown Fertility should be looking to hire more people like her, with her wonderful attitude and close attention to detail. You cant ask for better service than what Ms. Guest provides to her clients and brings to her company. I will definitely be referring anyone with fertility needs to Brown Fertility and make sure to request Josephine Guest.
I struggle with infertility many years until I went through IVF (after 40yo) and now I have my first daughter.Thayane was very helpful during my treatment. If I had questions that she couldnt answer them, she would reach out to Dr Brown and give me the right information. Thank you for all the support!
Cannot say enough good things about Brown Fertility! My husband and I have been struggling getting pregnant for 6 years. We went to another local clinic first and had an IUI, 2 egg retrievals and 5 embryo transfers with them, all which were unsuccessful. As a last ditch effort we contacted Brown Fertility for our last attempt! We met with Dr. Brown and I was very nervous knowing this was our last try. Dr. Brown told me he was going to get me pregnant and not to worry about anything. As someone struggling for so long I was very skeptical and didn’t believe him. I went through their process and did all the test and protocol they wanted me to follow. I’m now sitting here 32 weeks pregnant with a twin baby boy and baby girl after my first egg retrieval and embryo transfer with their office. I feel so blessed to have met Dr. Brown and their amazing staff. I will always be thankful for the gift they gave me!
We have overall had a very poor experience with Brown Fertility. We are grateful that we have a baby due in 2 weeks but it has not been a pleasant experience. First off the nurses/staff lacks compassion and communication. Our egg retrieval cycle got postponed because it was not communicated to us that the father needed to get genetic testing done too. There were also multiple instances where my wife was asked if she was taking certain meds and the answer was no because we were never told she should have started them. And after the first and only biological embryo transfer failure (only one egg was retrieved) when my wife was depressed about no more biological children for her, there was just no compassion and basically got yelled at to go take the blood test that we knew would be negative. But the worst part has been the financial part. We were billed incorrectly and owed over $1600. They would not admit fault or that they owed us any money, even after they talked with our insurance company who told them we dont owe that money mind you, until I threatened to take them to small claims court. Then we got a call that o it looks like we owe you xyz the exact amount we told them. Now it is over 4 months later and we still do have our money back because the refund was incorrectly sent to the insurance company instead of us. They are again looking into it It has been an absolute nightmare and we will be taking them to small claims court if it is not resolved in the next week.Again we are very grateful for baby coming in 2 weeks but would never recommend them to someone looking for fertility treatment.
After waiting 3 hours past our appointment. We have met dr brown for the first time. He had no interest to refer us to specialist to understand what is really going on even though we expressed we wants to know. He is just interested in doing his Ivf procedure. Also they gave me a hard time taking my records after multiple requests that i had to to tell them am a doctor and i know my rights. ended up having to go personally to talk to manager. They are not really interested in your health.
We had an amazing experience with Brown Fertility! We became a patient with them in January of 2021 and our baby was born March 2022! Dr. Brown was a great doctor with a very positive attitude about me being able to get pregnant and my IVF nurse Tiffany was the absolute best! She always responded to my calls and emails and was extremely helpful! We are so thankful for Tiffany, Dr.Brown and the rest of the staff at Brown Fertility for helping make our dream of becoming a parent come true!
As a new patient, this was an absolute great visit. From making the appointment over the phone to entering the office. This was a great visit. I had many questions and didnt have to ask them, because the intake was so thorough. Brown Fertility felt like a safe place.
After struggling with infertility for years, Dr. Brown and his wonderful staff guided us in the process to start a family. My husband and I are now able to hold our beautiful 6 week old daughter because of our IVF journey with Brown Fertility. We worked specifically with Dr. Waldman, Dr. Camacho, and Dr. Brown (and their nursing staff) and each of them were incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding as we went through this process. A year and a half ago, I was the one reading these reviews for fertility centers and couldnt have dreamed to be where we are now as a family. Highly recommend!
My husband and I were unable to conceive naturally, so we became patients at Brown Fertility. We were very happy with our experience. All of the staff were very friendly, and the nurses ended up feeling like family! They responded quickly via email and made us feel comfortable in the office. They were also flexible with scheduling. Dr. Brown himself was very patient and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed, and he was very comforting through this emotional process. After almost two years of treatment, we had a successful pregnancy via IVF. We now have a beautiful, happy, healthy 6-month-old baby boy. He is the light of our lives, and we owe it all to Brown Fertility. We would 100% recommend to anyone trying to conceive. Thank you, Dr. Brown!
I am so pleased with Brown Fertility Clinic. Everyone has been nice whenever I call the office. During my IVF journey to conceive a child Thayane has been very supportive and encouraging. Thayane goes beyond the call of duty to make herself available to help me and answer my questions. She returns my phone calls when I need to speak with her. She always maintain a positive attitude when speaking with me. Thayane is someone I would definitely recommend to continue to provide the support needed to help others.Thank you Thayane!
In a time when couples are searching for answers and support, this company does not appear to have empathy for the situation. They rarely know what’s going on, they ask the same questions over and over, they call to schedule appointments but don’t really understand what stage you are at in the process. Constantly apologizing for negligence, they treat you as a number. They take your payments upfront before even arriving and make you wait for extended periods of time. We got up and walked out without anyone even following up to see why we were unhappy. The stress of the process was worth the money lost to not have to be subjected to this type of treatment. I would not refer this company to any couple looking to start a family together.
Poor customer service; I highly recommend considering a different practice. Poor office organization (did not receive any notification that the doctor I was seeing was leaving the practice) and lack of patient care (couldn’t answer simple medication questions). Required a full work up, but never received any follow-up.
Alejandra is such a delightful person with a positive attitude that brings smiles, comfort and encouragement to people surrounding her. She has a strong sense of family with a gentle approach that is supportive in both family and work environments. In times of celebration or times of need, Alejandra comes shining through to support those people in need, where ever they may be!
I will be forever grateful of Brown Fertility and Thayane Lemes. Thayane is such a great nurse. Very kind, compassionate, professional and supportive. I can’t thank her enough for all the support that she provided me during my journey. Thank God first, thanks to Thayane and Brown Fertility, today I’m hugging my miracle. God Bless You Thayane and Brown Fertility!
The most unprofessional doctor Ive ever visited had multiple issues during my experiences with them. During my first visit, they overcharged me due to incorrectly entering my insurance information. Then, on my second appointment, they canceled it and moved it to a different location and time without proper communication. Furthermore, during that rescheduled appointment, they attempted to charge me excessively for a procedure that should have been covered by my insurance. When I tried to cancel my third appointment, they refused to accommodate my request, forcing me to wait for over an hour to be seen. To make matters worse, during that visit, they seemed more concerned about testing my husbands health rather than addressing my own health concerns. Despite coming in for a specific problem I was experiencing, they neglected to focus on my well-being and instead seemed fixated on unrelated matters, such as trying to get me pregnant, which was not the reason for my visit. This lack of attentiveness left me feeling frustrated and unheard as a patient.
Dr. Brown and his office have been helpful in starting our journey. After years of doctors say they are unsure why I have been unable to conceive, Dr. Brown was able to determine what it may be due to one blood from my previous Dr. office. To finally have an answer and know the next steps is now exciting instead of wondering and asking why. After talking to Dr. Brown and his previous patients I know we have made the right choice with Brown Fertility.
Our experience was that of a haphazard and disorganized office. We were seen for initial consultation and they submitted bloodwork to an out of network lab knowing we have full coverage for in network labs. Instead they opted to submit $10,000 worth of genetic screening to an out of network lab without our consent. After our experience with this office on that first day we transferred our care to a different facility.
Josephine demonstrated great patience and understanding while I was under her care. She answered all of my questions and consistently provided positive reassurance about the journey towards restoring my longevity. 10/10 great experience would recommend anyone to see Josephine specifically!!!
Weve been working with the clinic for about 2 months for reciprocal IVF and weve had a really nice experience thus far. Its been pretty easy to get things scheduled. Whenever weve had an issue or questions, they have been incredibly responsive to calls for information or scheduling. The office staff are all very compassionate from medical to admin to finance. The pricing is pretty transparent and reasonable. Our provider is Dr. Duffy but it does seem like you may see different folks if that fits your schedule best. We have only had great interactions with folks thus far, especially Dr. Duffy, Tallymarie, and Nashari from the Tampa office. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fertility clinic.
Best experience you could hope for in your infertility journey. I have gone through other clinics, but Brown Fertility is by far the most organized and has the best communication. I am able to get all my questions completely answered in a timely manner. And any appointments that can be planned are scheduled well in advance. This relieves a lot of stress for me as I work full time. I have to especially mention and thank Thayane. She is so caring and attentive. I had very little communication with her as she was not my nurse. However, she remember when my retrieval was and stopped by the procedure room to wish me luck. That means the world as sometimes at other clinics you feel like a number and not an individual. I was recommended to only two doctors by a RE at Mayo. Her only two recommendations were Dr. Brown and Dr. Duffy, which now are both with Brown Fertility. However at that time Dr. Duffy worked at a competing clinic. I already had confidence with Dr. Brown due to the recommendations and reviews. He solidified all of that for me when he recommended a few things for my care that did not financially benefit his practice, but would be better for me. He has a huge amount of experience and offers options all based off his knowledge and your wishes as a couple. He is supportive and positive. The infertility journey can be so draining emotionally, physically, and financially. Putting your trust in a clinic that is there for you can help ease some of those tensions.
One word Amazing🥲!! Brown Fertility helped us conceive our rainbow baby on the first try. The staff is awesome and so caring. We especially love Ian, Dr. Brown, Christina, Tiffany and Tina for their phenomenal support on our journey. I cant thank this facility enough for everything theyve done for us.🥰
I felt like we were dismissed because we weren’t doing IUI or IVF. We were there for recurrent miscarriages and had no problem getting pregnant, just staying pregnant is my problem. After all the testing the Dr mentioned my blood test results weren’t available when they were by Quest so it makes me believe he didn’t look at my file. I still ended up miscarrying on his kitchen sink protocol. No testing at all for immune related issues.
I definitely recommend Brown Fertility! I called the office with questions and concerns. My English is not the best. They transferred the call to Glorian. She took her time and explained and answered all of my concerns. Very excited to start my process and start my family. Thank you again Glorian for your excelente customer service
Was the best experience ever. The doctors stayed informative the whole process and was great at following up. The process was long but it was worth every second. Definitely will recommend, and just loved Dr.Waldman and Dr.Brown. They made my family complete
While we had an excellent experience with Dr. Waldman, we were very disappointed with the lack of communication and poor follow up with the staff at Brown. Because of this, we are seeking a second opinion elsewhere and will not be pursuing further care at Brown. It is truly disappointing and frankly quite concerning to experience such lack of compassion and communication at this facility. There are clear staffing issues and charting inconsistencies that are causing communication breakdown. I will not recommend Brown to others in the community.
Went for testing. In & out fast. Nice efficient staff.
Just to update: I emailed the address in the comment to this review and got a prompt response from Rachel Gibbons asking if I would like to speak to the operations manager. I promptly responded with my availability and haven’t heard back in over a week. I don’t recommend this practice. Here was my experience with brown fertility:I started out with dr Waldman and adored him and everyone at the baptist south office. They took great care of me. Upon exam he found I needed surgery. Due to some mixup with insurance they needed to schedule me with dr brown. On day of surgery dr brown was quick but friendly for the most part. After surgery I got a text or email saying I had a follow up at 1:30 on a Wednesday. This doesn’t work for my schedule at all but when I called to get a different appointment I was told insurance wouldn’t cover it if I didn’t do it on that day and they didn’t have any other times. When I requested it be virtual I was told it had to be in person. Later when I asked dr brown why it had to be in person he said “it didn’t…”So I show up to my appointment time 15 min early to a super rude and unwelcoming front desk attendant and after an hour of waiting I asked if they ever let people know when they’re running this late. It wasn’t meant to be offensive I was just wondering. In short her answer was no and 5 min later I was put in an exam room for another 30 min. After 30 min I asked if I could use the restroom because I wasn’t sure if I needed to give a urine sample and after someone showed me to the restroom I heard them in the hall mocking me saying “can I use the restroom” in a sarcastic voice.Next I was moved to dr browns office where he said “nice to meet you” to which I reminded him that he had performed surgery on me… when I began discussing my pain and endometriosis issues he stated “we only treat fertility” and began quoting the prices for iui and ivf. He also used phrases like “at least you’re not some fat 40 year old…”He wrote a whole list of recommendations for me but I don’t think I will be coming back to see him. This whole process is stressful enough without egocentric drs like dr brown adding stress. If you must see someone in this practice, dr. Waldman was kind but he still works under dr brown so it’s not worth it to me.
Their office manager is deceitful. They will offer a discount and then ask you to write a positive review before they offer the discount. You have to show proof of the positive review prior to receiving the discount. They should focus on customer service at all points, not just the bedside. Their office manager is ruining it for them.As you can see from the response from my original post, they are not there every step of the way. We did move from another clinic in Jacksonville that we felt were just taking our money and not providing quality care. The clinic staff we have encountered at Brown has been great. The office/billing manager, has not. I dont think you should be forced to leave a review in order to receive a discount. That is not a true picture of the review. It is forced and deceitful. Im sure they were the ones who left the response.
Dr.Brown was caring and truly listens to his patients. He values his clients as individuals and explains whatever is asked. He evaluated our situation and allowed us to come in and ask more questions if needed.
Most of the staff is very friendly but the office is dirty, they are constantly running late, cancel appointments last minute, and it was beyond a hassle to get medical records. For one of my test procedures I had to undress from the waist down and was told to wrap a blanket around myself and sit on a bed with no privacy screen while I waited my turn for the test. The patient before me came out of the testing room with the same blanket covering, each of us visible to the other. The floor from the testing room to the bathroom/changing room was also not cleaned between patients and there was visible blood spots from other people. Mind you, you can’t wear shoes while completing the test. It took me 4 requests to actually get my medical records and somehow the first 3 requests were “never received”. I hate to write bad reviews but this office somehow managed to make an already stressful situation more stressful.Edited to add: Brown to this day has not released my records to my new doctor despite me paying for the medical records release. I had to forward my records myself. The office staff, including the manager, are a complete joke. PLEASE GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.
If you need someone to take care of your treatment with respect, kind and love, you need to ask for Thayane. She will help you go through this special time in your life. Brown fertility clinic is the place for you
The level of attention I have received on this clinic has been exceptional. Alejandra answer all of my concerns on my first call and this is what encourage me to stablish care with Brown fertility.
It is a dream of mine to become a mother but like most woman in their 30s we start thinking about that clock and afraid that time will run out. I have spoken to Rachel Gibbons multiple times about my options. I have never met anyone so positive and passionate about their job and truly wanting to help me and teaching me about all the ways we can make a baby happen no matter the obstacles life throws your way! I highly recommend speaking with Rachel if you want a positive and safe conversation on all your options. Very informative and she makes you feel like you already have a support system!!
Josephine was knowledgeable and professional. She put me at ease with all my concerns. 100% recommend them if you need any thing.
Ive been a patient for over 4 years and I am honestly so thankful for Dr. Brown and his staff. Weve done it all - timed intercourse rounds with medication, insemination, multiple rounds of IVF, and more. While our last transfer resulted in a pregnancy, we did lose our son at 5 months. We are about to start another round and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. Dr. Brown makes us feel at home in his office and truly he and his staff always give 100%. Meaghan & Lindsey are two of the nurses that have been a huge part of our process and we are so thankful for them. Their staff truly cares, starting at the people answering the phones, the people sitting at the front desk, the medical assistants, the nurses, the social media team, and the doctors. We cannot wait to bring home our miracle because of Dr. Brown and his staff. Because of his office we have hope and I know he brings hope and makes miracles happen for so many other families too.
My husband and I were blessed to conceive beautiful, healthy twins several years ago- the staff was helpful, kind, and professional then- and this still rings true today! The second time around the staff has been just as responsive and compassionate as the first. Thankful for the entire team at Brown Fertility and excited for this chapter with them!
Its very unorganized at the front desk. Theyre chatting while signing me in. They got somebodys information wrong. But why do you need 4 people together try to fix one persons information? Took 15 minutes just to sign me in. Now Im here waited an hour already and still havent called me yet. I wont trust any place of this kind of efficiency.
We love Dr Brown and his staff very much! It is true you may have longer wait times every now and then but those mean nothing once you are able to conceive and have a baby after so many years of trying! Dr Brown is very knowledgeable in his field and helped us have our first baby after two + years of trying with doing only one round of IVF. Without him we would not have our family!
Alejandra was so helpful and kind helping me on my leave of absence process for my job.Every time I emailed her she responded in a timely manner and she was so caring over the phone. I was having a hard time with extending my leave of absence from work but Alejandra send over all the documentation that was needed and I was Approved. Thank you for being a wonderful person. 🤗
I would like to thank Thayane for receiving us and explaining to us all the details and procedures. She went beyond that helping us in all our needs making a huge difference and we felt comfortable with our choices.
I’ve used 3 different clinics with no success before finding Brown Fertility. Our first transfer with Dr.Brown was successful and we have beautiful twin boys now!! I had really bad experiences with a different clinic where the Dr didn’t listen to my concerns and made me feel like a number, horrible bed side manners by the coordinator nurse & spent thousands for no success at all. Dr.Brown was completely opposite of that other clinic. He and his staff always listen to my concerns and made me feel heard! Without Brown Fertility, I would’ve never gotten my 2 twin blessings after 6 yrs ttc!
Brown fertility is a big help to couples who have difficulty in making one the natural way..The people are so warm and very helpful esp. Josephine. I will always remember how she takes care of my sister and at long last! We have this cute niece with us now. Nothing is impossible! Just believe that there are experts who could help you out along the way! Keep trying. Trust the process.
Brown Fertility has a wonderful team.We have been working with Thayane. She is very thoughtful, courteous and professional, always responds right away to our messages. We deeply appreciate her going an extra mile to ensure everything is done okay.
Rachel has the most welcoming smile when coming in. She is someone who truly loves what she does and is always going above and beyond to help families. Thank you so much to this clinic for helping her family and thank you for having someone like Rachel who makes the experience all the better.
With the Supreme Courts overturning of Roe v. Wade, there had been a lot of heated arguments lately. I happened to come across Dr. Browns comment on the matter, and Im very supportive of his response. Im pro-life but I never forget that there are 2 lives involved: the mother and the fetus. True, intervention sometimes has to be made when it comes to complicated pregnancies and I respect that. Like Dr. Brown, Im also concerned about how the State of Florida will interpret things. I can only pray that they arrive at the right regulations. I would like to thank Josephine Guest for a healthy and insightful discussion on where your clinic stands on this matter.
Im currently about 6 weeks postpartum with a wonderful little boy. Im 39 years old and have PCOS. Because of those reasons, my husband and I turned to Brown Fertility to conceive. When we went to our initial appointment we met with Dr. Brown who went over all of our medical history, explained his experience and knowledge in regards to our medical history and walked us through the process we were expected to follow. From the initial appointment till our fertility graduation day, we were treated with respect, kindness, and were always given the information we sought out. I do encourage being your own advocate and be as knowledgeable as possible about your specific needs so that you can get the best care from Brown Fertility. If you have no questions, they will assume (rightly so) that you know all there is to know and will move forward with that assumption. If you havent done the research and DONT know what is expected of you, you will easily feel as if they arent telling you anything that you need to know and you will feel left in the dark and scrambling around to find answers for questions that have come up at anytime during the process. Dont do that to yourself. Research. Being more knowledgeable helps the process be easier to follow, and more than likely more successful. If my husband and I choose to have another child, we WILL use Brown fertility again.
They are horrible with with following up! They were wonderful with the IVF process BUT the billing department was an absolute nightmare. They promised to monitor her closely and she is high risk. She is about to hit 6 weeks and has had NO follow up or appointment scheduled. This experience has turned very sour in what is expected to be a happy time. Do better! Call YOUR patients!!!!!!!
I want to to take this moment to thank Alejandra for assisting me with my questions about the IVF process. I been battling PCOS for many years and happy to know there are clinics like brown fertility that offers options of fertility services. Thank you!
Rachel is very knowledgeable when it comes to Brown Fertility. She’s always spoken so highly of the office and everyone she works with. The doctors are some of the best and when speaking to Rachel, they are constantly finding new ways to educate people on women’s health and infertility struggles.
This place is honestly a God send! The nurses are amazing especially Jennifer! She never hesitated to answer my dumb questions and treated me like a dear friend. Dr. Rose is very informative and gives you realistic expeditions. He is a well educated man and you can tell he loves what he does. We live in Georgia so we had to drive to do the procedures but it was worth it! I did 1 round of IVM and we now have a beautiful healthy baby girl! What I love most about this place is that it is Christian friendly! They even have a verse above the wall where blood is drawn. It was very important to my husband and I that this facility understood that ONLY God can create life not mankind. If you feel that God has led you treatment, please come here! Infertility was the hardest thing my husband and I have been through but God revealed His goodness and faithfulness to us the entire way!!! Thank you Brown Fertility for everything!!
There are not enough positive things I can say about Brown Fertility! Their staff including doctors, nurses, receptionists, marketing, etc has been incredible! Every person we came in contact with was very informative, polite, and comforting. In such an emotional time, they made our entire experience a breeze. We were lucky enough to bring home our little miracle after our IVF journey was complete! Thank you so much, Brown Fertility, for making our dreams come true!
If I could give them 0 start I would. After so much treatment and being told that you are going to have that baby and the IVF is going to be successful, it was the complete opposite. After a failed IVF and that call to tell me youre not pregnant, they never followed up to find out why the IVF failed. They only told me if you want to make another transfer you have to schedule another consultation so we can start all over the treatment process” Another consultation? And they are not going to do any other test to find out why the IVF failed? I definitely do not recommend them, they are not professionals at all, not to mention that the Dr who did the embryo transfer is not on the list of Browns doctors. I’m so disappoint without mention that I’m emotionally affect after all this.
Go to Brown Fertility! We LOVE Dr. Brown and IVF nurse Tiffany Baker!Dr. Brown is confident, knowledgable, experienced and thorough. He takes extra time with you to make you feel like youre his only patient (even though the waiting room is ALWAYS full!). He makes you feel like you are his #1 priority and that he WILL help you reach your goals of building a family. Super intelligent, master of his craft but down to earth and personable.Nurse Tiffany is THE BEST! Hands down. No one better. We actually had an anesthesiologist that thought we knew each other prior and thought we were best friends! LOL That just shows how relatable, friendly and connected Tiffany is. She empathizes with your situation, but is also very knowledgable and helps you understand the process and what to expect. She is very thorough and attentive, answers emails very quickly and has been GREAT to work with! She is ALWAYS there when you need her. She goes through the process with you. She just makes you feel like youre a friend, she cares, and makes you feel at home.We love everyone at Brown Fertility but had to give a special shoutout to Dr. Brown and Tiffany! This place literally has become like family to us!Go see them at the Baymeadows/Jacksonville location today!
My sister Chelsea Delia has been going through Ivf with these doctors and her experience has been extremely good. Haven’t heard anything negative about any part of the steps she has had to take. Everyone is super nice and I’m glad she has them to help her through the process!
Brown Fertility was absolutely amazing. The office staff including Dana and Meaghan were so unbelievably helpful in every way possible and the nurses including my nurse Kristina was always available to answer any questions I had in a blink of a second. Dr. Brown was such a great and caring doctor he took time with each of his patients and never rushed. He also always had a sense of humor to make you laugh even in the hard times. He and all of the doctors were just so unbelievably caring for their patients.I did my first round of IVF at Brown Fertility in the months of June/July 2019. I’m 32 and was starting to worry about my fertility since I was unable to get pregnant naturally. Brown Fertility made me feel comfortable and at ease with the decisions ahead. I’m so happy I chose them to pursue my IVF. I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant. I still have a long road to go but I’m excited to be in this place all thanks to Brown Fertility!
Thank goodness for Dr. Brown and all his staff. I am so grateful to be in Brown Fertilitys care, and cant say enough good things about this practice.Addition- it is a year later and I just delivered my beautiful daughter. I have to mention the stellar nurse who performed our successful IUI. Tiffany’s bedside manner was the best I’ve ever experienced. Her attitude and personality was positive and energetic. She brought excitement to the room on our journey that lifted us up- dare I say our IUI was fun?! Thank you Tiffany for our dream come true, and an experience that we tell people about often.
We have been seeing Dr. Brown for a few months now and can’t say enough great things about his practice. Everyone on staff is friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about you. We have never experienced long waiting room times, inability to make appointments, etc.Dr. Brown is truly a miracle worker. We are so thankful for the referral. We wish he could deliver our babies this September!
My husband and I had our first appointment with Dr. Brown last week. We have definitely found our doctor. We were both very impressed. We didnt feel rushed. He answered all our questions. We have gone through IVF before in a different state & know what to look for. The only down side was the wait time. But in my opinion thats two fold...you know you wont be rushed. I will update my reviews as time goes by. ❤️
So thankful for Dr.Brown and his clinic as we finish our fertility journey at Brown Fertility. Dr. Brown’s kindness and bedside manner were pivotal during the emotional and mental stresses of each IVF cycle. We wouldn’t have our twins without Dr.Brown.
End result? After 2 transfers that did not take, our third transfer with Dr.Rose was successful with twins and our fourth transfer with Dr.Brown 3 years later was successful with twins. These successes made every minute waiting in the waiting room, every test, every injection, every tear, every dollar so worth the journey with Brown Fertility. Thank you for giving me my beautiful family!
I was referred to this office by my gynecologist. I made an appointment and even made sure i filled out my paperwork and sent it back 3 days before my appointment. Fast forward to the day of my appointment. I arrived at 915 for my 930 time. The receptionist asked if i had sent my paperwork back ,i was told they needed it in advance to have the dr review before my appointment, but she didn’t even print any of it out until i arrived. I sat in the waiting room until 10am when i finally asked about what was holding my appointment up. The receptionist went to check and came back stating the dr was behind and i would not be seen until nearly 11 if i wanted to wait. I attempted to reschedule but i would have had to wait 2 weeks to rebook. My issue is that if my appointment was at 930 and it appears the dr was running an hour and a half behind why not call? i’m a new patient coming from st augustine. i arrived promptly and had fulfilled my necessary steps that were asked of me. if i had received a phone call telling me that things were running behind i would have been my apt to work with this office. but i was definitely not turning this drs appointment into an all day affair and waiting in the office for 2 hours to be seen. I understand things happen but communication is key. I had a horrible first impression and will never use this office again nor recommend them to anyone i know. In addition, i received my text reminder for my 930 appointment at 910 when i was already in the parking lot about to walk in...i actually laughed when i got the text.
Im very disappointed, quality has declined, no answer phone calls, long waiting, I was there for my 8:30am today, and too many people in the lobby, too busy and running late. I had a great experience in 2016 when Dr. Brown performed my laparoscopic surgery. Then, in 2018 Dr. Brown helped me to conceive my beautiful baby, but the overall office quality has declined it has got worse and they need improvement. I still would recommend Dr. Brown, however, I would let them know my recent experience.
This place has done nothing but cause anxiety. Dr. Brown has no respect for his patients time. My appointment was scheduled for 9 am and got pushed back until 11:30. So far I have been sitting and waiting for 2 hours now and still have not seen the doctor. A couple of weeks ago I called to schedule my husband a separate appointment and ended up having to come in and do it face to face after getting no answer or call back from 12 different phone calls. Do not waste your time like I have.
Brown Fertility has always been amazing with everything they do, but on top of it they have incredible staff. One of the best is Rachel. Rachel is so knowledgeable and a great go to for any questions you might have.
So far, my wife and I are happy with our experience at Brown Fertility. The clinicians and staff are professional and accommodating. We always have a pleasant interaction with Dr. Brown. They guide us well at every step of the process. Highly recommended.
Brown Fertility has been wonderful! They have provided very usefully and helpful information. Rachel is always on top of things with following up and making sure I have the information I need. Thank you!!
Brown Fertility is going to help you to have your miracle baby. The coordinator Thayane Will take good care of you during this special moment in your life.
Thanks to Dr Brown and his wonderful staff, I have a 6 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. Thank you Dr Brown, for doing what other clinics couldnt, and blessing me and my family. I wouldnt trust anyone else! My family loves Brown Fertility!
We have done two rounds of IVF with Dr. Browns office. Our 2nd round was a Success!! I am currently 8 weeks pregnant. I cant express Enough how amazing they were! Dr. Brown took time with us, stayed until all of our questions were answered. All of their staff were so helpful and friendly and have gone above and BEYOND for us. From helping me through insurance claims to three-way calling my insurance company when things got tricky. This is only some of it. We have felt as though we had a whole team of people behind us who cared about our success. We will be forever grateful for them!
Thank you Brown Ferttility for having Josephine Guest. She is very attentive , supportive shoud I say a person working with passion and enthusiasm.Very hardworking, talented and dedicated one. Congrats to Brown Fertility Clinic!
Today world celebrates Global Day of Parents and at the same time my daughter Maria graduates 2nd grade and my son Andrew is about to start VPK… both of them - miracles created with the help of Dr.Brown and his team. The staff was very professional and friendly from the reception to the doctor. Special thanks to Denisse. She was with me throughout both of my journeys . She was always answering my questions, supporting me during emotional breakdowns and cheering for good news. Thank you Brown Fertility for giving me my beautiful kids.
They took my 100$ for appt and I sat their for 1 hour with no apt then I have not got my money back for the service I never got they refuse to mail it my house truly just burnt down so they said because new address they cant mail it my card is new due to fire so it cant simply go back to card so they still now 3 months still have yet to give me a refund of service I never got I have called 100s of times emails I wish I could just have my money back that I deserve!!!!
I had a brief conversation with one of your team member, Josephine Guest. While walking I asked her what Brown Fertility is about. She was happy/ eager to share what Brown Fertility was about. She was professional, patient and answered my query....
Brown Fertility has been a breath of fresh air to work with and all of their staff are incredibly helpful and sensitive. Chelsea has by far been thee most kind and caring person I’ve worked with and I’m grateful for her help!
My husband and I are so grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff at Brown Fertility especially Meaghan who have been so kind and supportive through this process. We highly recommend this clinic as they always treat you as more than just a number and they care so much!
Brown Fertility is the first clinic where I have been treated as a whole patient. My IVF nurse Tiffany has been phenomenal throughout our treatments. She’s taken time to explain the process, answer questions, help find lower cost meds, and reassure me. She is kind, caring and compassionate — exactly who you want coaching you through this. The doctors are knowledgeable, insightful, and offer more than just a one-size treatment.
Rachel is an awesome asset to this company! Always bringing a friendly face and willing to help at any time! Brown fertility really goes the extra mile!
Absolutely love the staff and experience I had at Brown Fertility. Tiffany made everything easy to understand and my treatment plan was spot on! I now have my miracle baby!
I came to Brown Fertility in hopes to freeze some eggs for future use and they have certainly gone above and beyond. As I have never done anything like this before I was certainly nervous. The nurses and staff made me feel like family and answered any questions I had. They explained all of my costs up front and gave me a piece of mind knowing I was in the rights hands. I would certainly recommend Brown Fertility to anyone having fertility issues. I have actually had a few friends go through them as well for IVF or Donor will great success and that is actually where I found them. I understand not everyone will have success as nothing in life is a definite but they certainly have made dreams come true for thousands of couples. Thank you Brown Fertility!!
Great Place! Josephine Guest was very accommodating, and Brown Fertility provided the best service from all fertility clinic ive gone through. great service. Keep it up!
Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. I started treatment with Brown Fertility two years ago. My condition was for PCOS. I went through 6 cycles of IUI and 2 cycles of IVF. All unsuccessful. There arent many choices in the Jacksonville area for fertility clinics and I tried to go to other clinics, but just didnt want to go through the hassle of starting over. What I can say is the office is disorganized and you can expect to wait over an hour to see someone for a 5 minute appointment. My doctor was Brown however only saw him 5 times through the whole 2 years. My first cycle of IVF Dr Rose harvested 27 eggs of which most were unnecessary small eggs because he wanted to experiment. Even though I said I do not want to try IVM or experiment. I ended up going to the hospital for hyperstimulation. After this I saw Dr Brown and he said not sure why Dr Rose went after those little eggs. Which again conflicting opinions between two doctors. 7 of the eggs were good and only 2 made it to be transferred. But no pregnancy. My second cycle of IVF I didnt have have many eggs growing. The doctor still made me go through the surgery knowing full well I didnt have enough eggs. Only two were harvested by Dr Fox (new female doctor) and none of them made it. (Not sure if she knew what she was doing.) What a waste of time and money! There is no compassion. There is no care! All they care about is getting paid! There is no one on one care that they boast about. The doctor cant even remember your name. And you end up seeing a different doctor every time you go and have to end up explaining your situation all over again. Cant really be mad at the staff. Several people quit through my treatment even the coordinator. When I wanted to get my medical records they tried to charge me $1 per page. I probably spent over $50k and still trying to charge me $37 for medical records. Please just go somewhere else. I would be weary of any positive reviews especially if they are giving discounts to those people.
Im very grateful for the assistance that Josephine provided me , kudos to her sincerity and warm service to us .words of gratitude are not enough .She is your No.1 asset
I know first hand how much Brown Fertilitys staff go out of their way for the patients that come through the practice to realize their dream of getting pregnant. They are compassionate and caring. Their prices are very competitive and clinical staff is one of the best in the industry. They even offer therapy, massage, and acupuncture to help you throughout the stressful process of infertility (which is something nobody else does).
Second round with this facility. Wasn’t thrilled after the first round so when we finally decided to go back again we were very happy to meet a new doctor. He spoke confidently and we felt comfortable. He highly recommended transferring one embryo not the two that they did the first time. After that meeting we never spoke with him again. Hard to get ahold of anyone for questions. Only after emailing asking about why my meds were different this time were they changed. More added and raised dosage. Fast forward to transfer day after being “strapped in” (if you have been through this you know how uncomfortable this is), did I get told the doctor that we DIDNT want was coming in. I started crying saying we weren’t using Dr Brown we were using Dr Waldman they said Dr Waldman wasn’t there today. The nurse left, I cried and in the end we still decided to move forward, my one egg that we wanted to transfer and we signed for was thawed. The doctor, two nurses, and embryologist come back in doctor asks how many we are transferring I say one, doctor asks embryologist how many he thawed, “two, they are mediocre” Doctor asks my age, three times in a minute. (I’m still in tears). He says I suggest doing both, (these are my last two), as I’m crying and ALL eyes are on me. He has everyone leave the room so we can decide. What were we going to do? We were there after all the emotions all the meds, all the time. My husband gets them back in, doctor pats my still strapped in legs and tells me how he transferred four into his wife and he now has a fat boy from it and this would be better financially for us. HE ACTUALLY SAID THIS WOULD BE BETTER FINANCIALLY FOR US! Humiliated, scared, confused, and heart broken we moved forward. Unsuccessfully.
My wife and I have started the process for IVF and I must say Danielle at the BayMeadows office was very professional and when my wife needed answers she called in and spoke to Danielle and the nurse followed up with my wife ASAP. Thank you Danielle for caring and making this process easy. I also like the Family Feud show on the TV in the waiting room.
My husband and I went to Dr. Brown for a second opinion after 5 losses with our first doctor. Dr. Brown listened to our concerns, gave a treatment plan and we transferred our one remaining embryo from our first egg retrieval. The embryo our first doctor told us would never amount to a viable pregnancy and was a, “waste of a transfer.”That “waste of a transfer” embryo became our perfect 9lbs 9oz baby boy.We continued to stay with Dr. Brown throughout our 2nd and 3rd retrievals. We are now pregnant with another miracle and we could not be more thankful for everyone at Brown Fertility.Doctors, nurses and staff are all so kind. They have all contributed to making our hopes and dreams of becoming parents a reality.
Complete joke! Just look at the other reviews below! So many negative reviews and there shouldn’t be any! This is a serious issue and an incompetent office staff and disingenuous doctors should not have any place in this entity!! Don’t waste your time or money. They don’t care about individual needs, they have a system they want you in and out so they can make their money. The office manager couldnt even return my wife’s phone calls so she could receive her HSG report. Dr. Brown is exactly that a brown nose. He just says exactly what you want to hear. Just an overall awful experience!
In 2009 I was one of Dr Browns first patients, he quickly was able to diagnose and suggest treatment and 9 months later baby number 1 was born! We had 3 losses over the course of the next 5 years (conceived naturally.) Our last loss, I had missed an apt at my regular OB but felt something was wrong, so I actually called Dr Browns office and was greeted by him the next day, and he let us know baby had passed after an ultrasound. I was treated like a friend that day by Dr. Brown. I share this day on a review because he was compassionate and helpful, even when we were not pregnant. I feel its easy to leave a good review if you got pregnant, and a bad one if you didnt, but not all Drs would have treated us with the compassion he did that day, and helped us through the next steps. After a few IUIs were unsuccessful, we decided it was time to try IVF. The process was made easy by all the wonderful nurses and staff, who ordered the medicine, set you up with a detailed calendar, and monitor you throughout. We did one cycle, with three transfers. In 2017, we had baby number two.Infertility can be such a hard struggle to go through. Im so glad Dr Brown and staff were there to walk with us through each step. I suggest visiting him to any of my friends Ive seen struggle with infertility.
After years of battling fertility issues, we sought assistance from Brown Fertility. My husband and I had a consultation with Dr. Rose who was professional, kind, and reassuring. We were successful in our first cycle of IVF and were blessed with a beautiful baby daughter. We will always cherish the staff and doctors who contributed to our care and helped us attain our dream of having a child. Through out the process the staff was caring and supportive of my husband and I. We are currently in another cycle and hope we will have success again. As stressful as IVF can be, the staff was informative and always provided encouraging words to ease our minds. I have recommended Brown Fertility to other and have the utmost respect for the Doctors and their staff.
The only reason this place is worth 1 star is Doctor rose is at least nice and was for the most part helpful however there phone staff is very rude with the exception of Stephanie. I called them after my family and I had moved and I was still Technically one of their patients And I asked about a certain medication if I could use that to improve my fertility I asked them to pass the question to doctor rose and they straight up said that I would have to come in and they were very insistent on it even though i moved 6 hours away And they knew that I moved because I told them I was moving And Ive never had another doctor tell me this In fact Ive received prescriptions over the phone before Plus they were going to try and charge me 100 bucks for like 2 minutes to talk to one the nurses over the phone If theyre gonna stay in business they need to change their attitudes
Wow! brown fertility! congratulations that you are now being recognized by a lot of people for providing ang excellent service, i pretty sure miss josephine guest has been a great part of it because of her passion motivation and dedication. absolutely! miss josephine guest is that woman with integrity! congrats
We are just starting our fertility journey but the team has been amazing! Special shoot out to Rachel Gibbons, thank you for all the texts and phone conversations to answer all my crazy questions and putting my mind at ease!
AVOID THIS FERTILITY OFFICE!Long post, but reviews are SO important to know which fertility office to choose. I have so much regret for not listening to the negative reviews for this office because as I went through IVF here, i realized the negative reviews & comments were true!My initial visit with Dr Brown seemed so promising. Employees were all so nice & uplifting. We had been ttc for 5 years. We were convinced to skip iui procedures because of the lower chance to become pregnant & were pushed to use our money & jump right into IVF since our chance to concieve was 80% this way. It seemed to make sense at that moment to us as well. We were misinformed & taken advantage of according to a physician at another fertility office.Long story short...after we paid for our IVF in full & they had their money, the entire atmosphere of that office changed in a negative way. Staff was rude, lacking compassion (including the doctors) and you are treated as a number there. The doctors I had seen several times never remembered me or my case. Its bizarre. At my egg retrieval, I wanted to run out but I was already so committed to ttc there during IVF as we couldnt afford for them to keep the percentage of money if I bailed & I had already went through taking all of those injections. I wanted to bail because the woman who was putting my IV in wasnt wearing gloves so I asked her to please put them on. She looked up at me and said Why, do you have AIDS?. In shock that she refused to comply I began to cry. If I was treated like this for an IV what was going to happen when I was put under anesthesia for the egg retrieval I was about to have? I did voice this to Dr Brown at my first post IVF consult, and at a future appointment I saw to my shock that employee was still working there. Also, while sitting in a curtain room before my retrieval I could hear the anesthesia nurse who was about to put me under complaining & cursing about how busy they were. Not very comforting to hear! I didnt want to lose the chance to have the baby my husband & I were trying so hard for so i bit my tongue & did the egg retrieval. They supposedly got 5 eggs from me, 3 turned into embryos. We did 2 transfers. One single fresh, and a twin frozen. Unfortunately neither made it to a pregnancy.I picked up my records to go to another fertility clinic & they were absolutely amazing. I did not feel like a number & the actual DOCTOR will call you with results not a nurse. This doctor went through my records & told me things did NOT add up & that we were wrongly pushed to go into IVF. We went to this one walking in the door expecting to try a second round of IVF. He said slow down, didnt take our money & we now have our little miracle baby no thanks to Dr Browns office. My records dont even state how many eggs were harvested or how many embryos were created. At my first post IVF consult, my records i picked up state from Dr Brown that the patient BELIEVES she has 2 frozen embryos left. Wow. Did I have the 2 left I was told I had?Dont expect to even SEE a photo of your embryos either. I asked at my first transfer & got a BS answer from that Doctor as to why. So after everything I went through, I literally have nothing left of my embryos & just the terrible memories & regret from using this office. I honestly doubt sometimes that I even had embryos at all. I feel robbed & taken advantage of. My records dont even state how many eggs were harvested or anything about the embryos at all.So please, do your research before paying & committing to this clinic!
The team at Brown Fertility were always nice and helpful. Emily the ANP was AMAZING! Extremely knowledgeable and made sure I understood each step. Dr. Brown is very blunt but I prefer that type of interaction; however, I can understand if some people are not a fan. We’re now pregnant after our first round of IUI. I took off a star for some billing issues.
Very unprofessional, never could remember who I was , I filed paperwork for “new patient” more than once kept having the same test done over and over. So we told Dr. rose we didn’t want to waste our time and money. We were referred here for a single surgery. When my wife told him that he told her “you miscarried and wanted to talk to me alone” we refused and he replied happy birthday to your ex fetuses they would have been 2 this year right?”
After a very disappointing experience at another local fertility office we found Dr. Brown. He was reassuring and helped us devise a plan to meet our specific challenges. The staff was always responsive and caring throughout our journey and worked with us to understand the process, financial commitments and answer any questions. After one round of IVF we were successful and I would (and have) recommend them to anyone facing fertility challenges.
Josephine is just the best! She is very patient and loves her job! Thank you Josephine for your excellent work and commitment!
They make you feel so welcome, answer all questions, make you feel welcomed and not rushed out of the door!! They understand what your going through! I’m so glad I choose them. We now have our twin miracles and will be trying for #3!!!
Josephine have such passion to always help everyone in need! Thank you and keep it up! Godspeed
A few things all patients should know before going to this clinic... 1. Dr. Brown does NOT do all the scans or procedures. He utilizes his nurses (who I did not feel are qualified) to determine important dates and they also do IUIs (not the Dr that youre paying thousands for). 2. Scheduling is a nightmare. Every single morning everything is overbooked and the waiting rooms are packed (so packed theres no place to sit). Which also turns into incredibly long wait times (I mean 2-3hrs sometimes to be seen for a quick, 5min scan). 3. Dr. Brown has every patient on the same exact schedule and protocol for IVF which is comical, as if all of our bodies are the exact same. Meaning all egg retrievals are done the same week and all transfers are done the same week. If something doesnt go as expected, hell never suggest a new med or new protocol. He will simply just say try it again. I read a review on here saying he had good bedside manner and I couldnt disagree more. With my first pregnancy after IVF, I waited over an hour to be seen for my first ultrasound. When there was no heartbeat he said, Sorry guys, looks like it pooped out a week or so ago. Yes... Thats literally the word he used. POOPED OUT. He wanted to see me a week later just to be sure. When I came back, we waited two hours to be taken into the exam room. We then waiting another 45min in the exam room before he came in. Dr. Brown acted as if he didnt just see me a week prior and talked like everything was fine and asked me the same Qs as last time clearly not remembering who I was or what my chart said. After another scan and still not seeing a heartbeat, he said he wanted to move me into another exam room that had a better machine with a clearer image. However, a patient was in that room so we had to wait another 30min to move into another room. The process was so horrible, my husband even missed his work flight because we were literally there ALL morning long.I also had an appt scheduled a day or two after a hurricane. I kept trying to call their clinic to see if everything was still okay to come in and their voicemail still was the same, so I assumed all was good. When I went to the Baptist S location the entire building was closed. I called the clinic and still couldnt reach anyone and their after service person didnt know anything. I finally messaged their facebook and their social media rep messaged me back telling me all appts had been moved to the Baymeadows location (I had gotten NO update about this). When I got to the Baymeadows location, I got no apology and was just told to wait. While I waited (again over an hour to be seen), multiple patients started piling in with the same story and frustrations. By the time I left, the entire waiting room was so packed there were actually people waiting in the hallway and outside. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.I had multiple procedures with Browns clinic... One Laparoscopy/hysteroscopy and one D&C. After each surgery I felt butchered and had a horrible recovery. Even after my D&C I was still passing huge clots. Ive had the same exact procedures at my new clinic and the recovery is night and day. The feedback Brown gave after my laparoscopy was also completely different than what we even had the surgery for. When my husband questioned him, he said he hesitated like he forgot and then said, Oh yeah thats all fine.I waited so long to post a review because I was literally afraid theyd tamper with my last embryo if they saw I said something negative about the clinic. Ive also known multiple people who also went to Brown and had very similar experiences (or worse). Dr. Brown also claims he was the first clinic to have a successful IVM pregnancy which is 100% a complete LIE! Dr. Brown pays zero attention to his patients and is just in this industry for the money!
I will recommend Dr. Brown to anyone. He is a great Fertility Doctor. Dr. Brown did my Tubal reversal (anastomosis) on Feb 12, 2015 and in June of the same year I was pregnant. I know have a health little boy that we love so much, thanks to Dr. Brown.
After several years of not being able to conceive naturally or with the help of another doctor in town I decided to get a second opinion with Dr.Brown. That is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am now 18 weeks pregnant with a baby boy through IVF (first try) at Brown Fertility. Thank you so much Dr. Brown and his awesome staff!
Love the customer service here. Danielle has made it a pleasure to deal with the Brown fertility. All or my questions and concerns were answered with professionalism.
My wife and I had an unpleasant experience. When we were able to meet up with the doctor he was ill prepared to discuss our case, or charts were not up to date. Wait times for scheduled procedures and appointments were unacceptable. Do not buy into their talk about how they are the best. Do some research and look elsewhere.
I have put many friends of mine in contact with Rachel gibbons. She is certainly an asset to the clinic and is clearly someone who truly loves what she does and is always going above and beyond to help families.
My husband and I had great success at Brown Fertility! After 3 unsuccessful rounds of IUI, we had success with our first IVF! We couldnt be more thankful and appreciative of all those who helped us begin our family at Brown Fertility!
After calling this office, I knew this was the place I wanted to set up care. Alejandra was very attentive and helpful . I really recommend to see this office for any of uour infertility concerns
Ive been a patient at Brown for 3 years straight and have seen mostly Dr. Brown and Dr. Rose though Ive met and seen all of them at this point. I absolutely love the staff here and theyve always gone out of their way for me and are very invested in us having success. Communicating through email is much easier than trying by phone unless its absolutely urgent. Id recommend establishing an email relationship with your nurse for most of your questions, theyre usually good about responding within 24 hours. To date Ive done 3 IUIs, 5 retrievals and 6 transfers. I have DOR, poor egg quality, Endo stage 2 (excised), recurrent implantation failure, and MFI. So Im not a simple or easy case. I drive my own care hard and appreciate their willingness to accommodate me on most things from testing to trying new protocols. At any REs office, no one will ever be as invested in your case as you are since youre the only patient in your control while they have many. I always suggest trying to educate yourself well on the process and be involved in your own care. Ive gotten 4 second opinions from other specialists across the US and have stayed for the convenience of its location and their willingness to incorporate other suggestions into my treatment.Keep in mind with reviews, that most of the time theyre highly dependent on the success of the patient where people who had success are going to be extremely happy with them and those who havent are going to be extremely negative. I have tried to keep this pretty unbiased with both the good and bads. As of this review, weve not had a successful pregnancy, but my case is very complicated so that is not the clinics fault.Pros:- Friendly staff, when I miscarried from our 5th transfer everyone there was extremely compassionate. Theyve been with me through ups and downs.- Competitive pricing with most extras standard (ICSI, assisted hatching)- No surprise fees, its all laid out in the costs sheets beforehand.- Willingness to try lesser interventions in most cases before suggesting IVF (i.e. monitored TI and IUI).- Appointments will generally last as long as you need them, Ive not been rushed during consults. Theyve lasted anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours (I was last appointment of the day).- Monitoring appointments start as early as 7am.- Willingness to take client desires/input into account when reasonable.- Most procedures can be performed in office instead of needing to do outpatient at the hospital so it often ends up cheaper.- Great embryologist, one of the best in the NE Florida area.- Parking is easy at Baymeadows and usually not too bad at Baptist South.Cons:- All IVF and transfer cycles are batched. While its easier on the lab and REs to give cycles more of their attention, it can make it more difficult to try some more off the wall things. For most cases, this wont be an issue.- Theres some standardization in protocol, but its generally based on your blood work/results. If youve cycled elsewhere, bring results and records and make sure they take those into account during your consult.- Wait times can be long, but thats what happens when appointments arent rushed so its a trade off.- Monitoring can be overbooked and lead to longer wait times. Book appointments ASAP for as close to 7am as possible and show up early.- No direct contact with the RE except at appointments. All communication is handled through the nurses.- Billing can be hit or miss, especially with insurance. Since they moved from NFOBGYN, billing has improved IMO. Insurance billing is hit or miss, but I dont have infertility benefits so insurance fights covering even consult appointments.
Going to a fertility clinic is overwhelming to begin with, but I have to give Josephine thanks for helping us with this process. Her kind, and patient demeanor is a blessing!
Browns Fertility is like a place of surprises for your dreams in todays world. Working with Josephine she shows all the great skills at this location. She seems to have all the answer to your ideals and dreams.
I was very pleased the first time I went trying to donate my eggs they gave me a sheet with some potential risks. Of course with infertility and death being 2 of the risks I had to think about what was best and to run it by with my doctor. So after a few months I realized this is something I wanted to do (give someone the opportunity to be a parent) i called the office but When I called to tell them that I want to continue knowing all of the risks I had a lady that picked up and said hello (nothing else but hello) so I said hey, i was at your office previously and would like to donate my eggs and she cut me off and told me to wait then placing me on hold. This has to be a new lady because the ones who i have spoke to last time were very nice and patient (and i was so pleased with the dr i spoke to)
The worst service! I wish Dr. Brown can read this and understand that his office is so inefficient. I spent 2 weeks trying to schedule simple sperm analysis. You are always transferred to VM and when she finally calls you back if you are unavailable, you are back to nowhere. The girl on the main line should be able to take this basic info and schedule appt but not. We tried doing it online on the website, didn’t help. People wake up it’s 20th century and we are paying fortunes for healthcare... it should not be that bad!
These people realize they are running a business in which they will never run low on demand and there is a shortage of good local service providers. It is easy to draw this conclusion when they clearly dont mind treating customers like they are disposable. Very unprofessional, very poor communication, and quite frankly lacking expertise in some of the basic areas in which you are paying them insane amounts of money to be subject matter experts. I can write a book on the experience we have had here so I wont but feel free to reach out to me directly if you need a local opinion. p.s. a couple of the individual nurses are very nice people and would be better off at a different practice. Front office and leadership are awful. For the love of God you are not selling hamburgers. You are dealing with peoples lives and the lives of hopefully their future children and their families during one of the most emotional and difficult times they will ever go though.
Rachel Gibbons has been there for me every step of the way with any questions I had in regards to my sister in law going through IVF. It is not an easy process but she has helped out in every way and for that I am thankful for her.
Im disappointed. My husband and I had a great experience, about 2 years go. No issues with the office at all. This time around, I have tried to call 4 or 5 times and never get through to even a receptionist or operator for at least 20 minutes. Ive reached out, via social media, many times - which they are prompt in responding there... but I have yet to see an improvement with their ability to answer the phone.
Do not go here if you have a side effect of infertility. I was hospitalized with a ruptured ovarian cyst. After seeing multiple doctors about constant pelvic pain, a doctor at Mayo suggested I go to Dr. Brown to have laparoscopic surgery to determine if I needed to have cysts removed. He did not want to remove the cysts because I mentioned that we were talking about having a child but had been unable to do so. He said that he would remove all cysts and eggs and he didnt want to do that knowing that I was attempting to get pregnant. When I first visited Dr. Browns office, I met with Emily and went over my history. She suggested laparoscopic surgery to determine what was going on with me. I agree to do so even though I had not even met with the doctor to discuss my concerns. I discussed with her that my main concern was handling pain and removing problematic cysts. In our conversation, I told her that fertility was not covered by my insurance and this was not a path I would be pursuing. She mentioned blood work...and since I have recently had surgery, I thought the blood work was related to my upcoming laparoscopic surgery. I received a bill for over $2,000 because my insurance had declined the claim. She had ordered blood work for fertility related tests. I had discussed other health concerns and shared results and she stated that she wanted to run her own panel. When I tried to contact the office to discuss the charges, they simply sent me a copy of the bill saying that there was nothing that they could do and that the charges would stay. I went to the Better Business Bureau and the response from their Marketing Director stating that I went for fertility concerns...nothing mentioned of my other issues. My main concern is that when I went for follow up, the only thing Dr. Brown discussed was fertility, even though I had stated multiple times that it would be nice to get pregnant...but my main concern was the severe pelvic pain and ovarian cysts. He did not remove cysts from my ovaries, which was my reason for going. They seem to be so rushed that I never even met him until right before surgery, so I didnt have a change to discuss my concerns specifically with him. I would just be very careful before you go here unless you are truly seeking fertility treatments and are ready to pull the trigger very soon!
Wonderful team, wonderful people, who are genuinely interested in helping you! I feel comfortable talking to the team...especially with a topic that can be awkward or uncomfortable. We’re about a month into our process, and I feel very confident that we will be successful in our journey.
Wonderful experience with this practice! I’m 32 with stage 4 endometriosis with one tube blocked and one tube removed. I literally have zero chance of conceiving naturally. I got pregnant with our very first round of IVF. We will definitely be coming back to implant one of our frozen babies after this pregnancy. Dr. Brown and the embryologist are both amazing.
I went to the Tallahassee office and I have no complaints. Dr Brown was direct, answered all of my questions and got me in and out. I am plus size and he didnt mention my weight in regards to ttc through IUI or IVF. I would recommend.
When you think about freezing your eggs, think about Brown Fertility clinic. Thayane is one of the coordinators and she will navigate you through all the process.
UPDATE: IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER COMMENT— YOU HAVE NOT DONE WHAT YOU CAN. OTHERWISE, I WOULDN’T HAVE WRITTEN THIS REVIEW.DO NOT GET CHARMED BY THE SWEET TALK ABOUT HOW THEY ARE THE BEST. READ EACH LINE ITEM ON THEIR COST SHEET AND GET ANOTHER OPINION. IF YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE THEIR PRACTICE, THEY WILL NOT RELEASE YOUR EMBRYOS WITHOUT A HEFTY PENALTY. WE FELT LIKE THEY WERE HOLDING OUR EMBRYOS HOSTAGE FOR RANSOM. WEVE ASKED AROUND AND FOUND THAT THIS IS NOT INDUSTRY PRACTICE AND THINK THAT THIS IS A TACTIC TO KEEP YOUR BUSINESS. The whole journey of having a child has been a difficult one for us, only made so much worse by Brown Fertility. As many have already mentioned, this has been one of the worst experience my wife and I have had to deal with. I do not write this review because weve been unsuccessful after around 3 years dealing with this practice, 2 retrievals, 1 fresh IVF cycle, 3 Frozen Embryo Transfers and thousands spent, including paying out of pocket to have our embryos tested to make sure we transfer normal embryos. I am writing this because despite all of that, what makes a bad result worst is the way this clinic treated us. About 3 years ago, my wife and I decided that we needed help from an infertility doctor to better our odds in conceiving. First mistake was we based our decision to go with Brown Fertility only on someones recommendation. Our first consultation with Dr. Brown started out really well. It was short but promising and he comes off as someone who wants to help. Well, that was the longest meeting weve had with Dr. Brown. Weve probably met him a total of 5 minutes the following 3 years (basically, only at transfer day). The real issues started after the first failure. The way they tell you that youre unsuccessful is so impersonal. In one of our failed attempts, we asked to speak with Dr. Brown to ask what else we could’ve done to increase our chances. He spent a whole 20 seconds with us, told us, theres nothing else that couldve been done as the embryos were likely abnormal, then charged us for the visit. Anyway, this was what prompted us to pay almost $2k out of pocket to get our embryos genetically tested and only transfer the normal ones. Then came the billing and insurance issues. At some point, we informed Dr. Browns office that we changed insurance carriers. Some of the claims were mistakenly getting denied by our insurance and we were left to deal with the insurance with little to no help from the clinic even though we do not understand most of what they are claiming for. At some point I discovered major billing issues when we received a bill from Brown Fertility for around $1,200 (I think). After going through all the claims and itemized billing, it turned out that they actually owed us over $3,750. In fact, theyve been holding this money and just deducting from it every time they get denied a claim without informing us. We finally decided to take our business elsewhere after yet another unsuccessful try. We consulted with our new doctor and already spent more time with him in one meeting than with Dr Brown over the 3 years. We also learned more about what options are out there to increase our chances of success (non of which were mentioned by Dr. Brown). When we called to schedule to tranfer our embryos was when found out about the hefty penalty. They do not point that out when you sign the paperwork. Ive asked a few fertility facilities and was told that this is not industry practice. I asked to speak to Dr Brown directly so I can make a case to have the fee waived and was told that they will not let me speak to him about this. After all the wasted time, all the emotional stress, the bad advise, and thousands of dollars spent, you would at least think that they would reconsider. Do yourself a favor. Go look elsewhere for your infertility needs. To this clinic, you are just a number and dollar signs.
Honestly, I give only 1 star because I cant give a 0. Staff and Drs are nice, dont get me wrong, but my experience was not good. Dr. Brown requested some Lab Work and did a tube check. My tubes were clogged and he unclog them. Next visit he told me I needed an IVF. Then they gave me an appointment to discuss the treatment price. About $20,000 + almost $7,000 in medicines. So, I decided to look for a second opinion and I select DR. MICHAEL FOX at Jacksonville Center for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Fox is so kind, nice and very informative. I had a consultation with him and made me many questions and he thought that I had endometriosis. He made me some lab work, ultrasounds and examinations at his clinic and I have many other issues that NEEDED to be fixed. Of course, endometriosis is very hard to be detected unless you go through surgery. As a result of my surgery I got endometriosis State 4 removed (I had endometriosis even in my colon and bladder), endometriomas removed, polyps in my uterus, and a cyst in one of my tubes. I just got through surgery about 2 months ago and we are starting to plan my treatment. Dr. Fox recommended me to start with medications to stimulate a better ovulation. He said that now that he corrected all my internal issues I have many chances to get pregnant naturally. If that doesnt work he wants to go to insemination first, before go all the way to IVF. I love Dr. Fox, he is very nice and he loves what he do. I highly recommend him if you are looking for different options or you are not happy where you are.
Josephine Guest Is the best employee you can have , Smart , hard working , compassionate , considerste , good leader . She Is an asset to your company .
I had such an amazing experience with Brown Fertility. Rachel was so helpful and really made sure all of our needs were met and questions were answered.
Brown Fertility has been great to work with from our first interaction! Having several losses has been emotionally draining and they have given us hope.
I definitely agree with all negative reviews under , 2 years ago I was 37 and after 2 attempts I had 2 embryos left , came in to have my 3rd embryo transferred, at that time I was going to try only one and leave one more for next time , dr brown talked me into it no do 2 you super healthy young I don’t see reason why shouldn’t be twins it will save you money in long run , perfect 2 embryos I will never ever forget that day , so I was like ok and it didn’t work lost both and now they expect from me to come up with another 20k like it’s $20 and I am almost 40 less eggs so chances of me being a mother is 0 , I would never ever recommend them to anyone and not only that they never followed up with me to schedule free consultation on what happens why it didn’t work they don’t have any compassion, clearly they in it for money and that’s it. Super disappointed and sad.
God blessed me with a sweet niece. I am so thankful to Brown Fertility and Thayane. They are the best.
Happy with the results, unhappy with the service.Dr. Brown is good at what he does. I completed a fresh and a frozen ivf cycle (spring/summer 2014) and viola very pregnant with twins, a girl 💜and a boy 💙could not be happier with that.Less then savory was the service received from the ivf nurse. She gave me a cycle calendar and told me to call if I didnt hear from her. Two to Four days prior to having to start/change meds, I had to keep asking for the meds and get prescriptions sent to the pharmacy. She never called me.Never received an itemized bill for services rendered, just receipt of payment. The whole process seemed unorganized. Hope the process has been streamlined for everyone else.
I helped a family member out at brown fertility with translating and Josephine was so sweet and dedicated to helping us out im forever grateful for her!
I was 36 when we did one round of IVF and had success! Everyone was so helpful and we loved Dr Brown! We now have a healthy 9 month old baby boy!
Our goal was to see Dr. Brown to conceive, which we did! However, along the way, unfortunately, the difficult process was made even more difficult due to an ill-run office. Initially we were told specifically by Dr. Brown that we were an easy case and that wed be pregnant in no time. After months of medicine and following their plans, even doing 3 IUIs, and my wife having endometriosis surgery, we still were not pregnant. In the end we did IVF, and it was successful. Here are a few things we disliked about the office.1. Very impersonal - no flexibility with dates during IVF cycle - nearly 40 women went through the IVF process on the SAME SCHEDULE. This made appointment days very stressful and unorganized. Also had to wait and stay on meds for longer so that all patients could be on the same schedule, instead of starting when the body is naturally ready. A decision that is a business decision, not a customer first approach.2. Uncomfortable waiting environment - Beginning with terribly annoying music played by a TV scrolling the same slide show, to frequently running out of seats in the waiting room for all of the waiting patients, to wait times that were over an hour numerous times, we dreaded every visit to the office.3. Construction concerns - the Baymeadows building was under construction/finish stages, and during one of our visits there were painters there. The fumes were so strong that all doors were open and people were freezing in the waiting room, even wrapping themselves in blankets to try to stay warm. My wife literally waited in the car so as not to subject herself to the fumes...felt bad for every other person who had to wait inside with all the fumes.4. Undelivered promises - from the very beginning we were promised numerous times that this or that will work. We were told we would definitely have twins if we put 2 fertilized eggs in with the IVF transfer, etc. Dr. Brown and the staff need to be much more careful about treating each patient delicately as this is a very difficult path to walk. Be ready to have many easily made but impossible to keep promises. In the end, we got pregnant for which we are very grateful. However, be prepared for a very difficult process and many unnecessary bumps and let downs along the way if you choose to use Dr. Browns office. We hope that things continually improve so that others do not have to go through what we went through.
Always a long wait. You might be there for a 3 pm appointment with no one in the lobby and still get in before they close after waiting an hr in the lobby. They never answer the phone and always have computer problems. Staff seams more interested in conversing with each other than they do getting patients in and out. Stay away from this place at all cost.
I would like to commend Josephine Guest for a job well done, she is the real deal! And thank you brown fertility for the great service!
Josephine is great worker! She loves what she does. She loves God and you can tell by her work ethics.
Te staff were a great help with a treasonous amout of experience and were very friendly. Especially Josephine who works in the lab. Thank you for the professional information that I was looking for.
I would never recommend brown fertility. I had a tubal reversal in November 2015 and have had nothing but trouble since then. They are very unprofessional. I am still not pregnant it was money wasted. I have since found a new fertility doctor.
Worst IVF experience ever. Dr Brown wont remember you, no matter how many times you meet. He will give redundant and mixed-up advisement, like youre a new patient until you remind him where you are in the IVF process and schedule.Youd think the staff would have him up to date before you enter to speak, but nope youre your own Project Manager for this outfit. Incompetence at the highest level, youre just Cattle-class, turn and burn. And that just describes the fertility experience.Wait until you start getting billed. Yep, strap in this ride is gona be turbulent. Thousands of dollars in swings of what you owe, until you question the Billing Dept, and get on calls with your Insurance company to double, then triple-check. Their embryologist must be why theyre still in business, thats all we can think because the good Lord above sure isnt backing this outfit..
My experience was wonderful! The staff were amazing and very helpful. We’re pregnant after our first transfer. Thanks Brown Fertility! 💕
Wonderful place, great staff. Dr Brown is amazing. Dont believe the negative reviews. Got pregnant with twins ! HIGHLY recommend this clinic. They went above and beyond.
Brown Fertility made my experience amazing from the beginning! Thank you Rachel for making me feel welcomed and comfortable.
What an amazing staff of people who work together so well at Brown. A special thanks to Josephine who was highly helpful and cordial.
Rachel Gibbons goes above and beyond! She is so informative and sweet. Rachel answers all my questions promptly and eases all my concerns.
Dr. Brown is rude and his practice as a whole is a nightmare to deal with. You can never speak to who youve conversed with in previous calls and on multiple occasions the ladies who took my calls at the call center have gotten my messages wrong and conveyed misinformation. Save yourself the headache. Go elsewhere
I love brown fertility! I have gotten some great insight to my plan! Rachel really was so sweet!
Rachel G. is so sweet and kind, always willing to put her patients first! You’d be lucky to have her taking care of you!
I know many people who have gone to Rachel for advice and knowledge at this clinic and she always is able to assist them and care for them throughout the whole process!
